After a meeting with Mamata Banerjee, the duo of Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav landed at the Patna airport and went to Vishwanath Farm located in Chakbairiya locality in the outskirts of Patna. A man came out to receive the duo and take them inside to attend the ring ceremony of his son Chetan. That man is Anand Mohan, a gangster turned politician who dominated the koshi region of Bihar during the era of jungleraj of the 90s. There used to be caste based clashes, and Anand Mohan from the Rajput caste was considered a leader of the upper caste people.

Because the Nitish Kumar led Bihar government tweaked rules to release Anand Mohan serving life sentence for killing the DM of Gopalganj. On one hand, Uttar Pradesh Govt led by Yogi Adityanath is setting examples by dealing effectively with the worst of gangsters and on the other hand, the सुशासन babu is hellbent to take back Bihar to the Jungle-Raj of the 90s.

These caste leaders were responsible for creating an environment of hate, and their victims were mostly common people who had nothing to do with caste politics. I am from the Rajput community, and I have lived in the koshi region of Bihar in the 90s. All these caste leaders of various castes used to plunder the villages of their perceived adversaries. This step is like opening a pandora’s box. This raises a serious question on the claims of their secular-progressive credentials.
I hope the Hindus and especially those who have suffered the most, see this and judge for themselves if they are a friend of the Dalits and Mahadalits as they claim to be. As far as the targeted population of this particular move are concerned, the upper caste people are likely to see through their evil designs and understand that this is nothing but a desperate attempt to win some votes at the cost of creating an anarchical situation in Bihar again.
