Rahul Gandhi’s offer of Rupees 72000 bribe to poor is a cruel joke

Rahul Gandhi’s poll promise of 72K per year is yet another in the series of empty slogans and fake promises that the dynasty raises time and again as a vote winning gimmick.

He is trying to bribe a major section of Indian population into voting for him. It is a vicious cycle. First, generation after generation, millions upon millions of our countrymen have remained poor due to the corrupt practices and crony capitalism of the Gandhi dynasty. And now the scion of this dynasty is trying to lure the same section of the population, living on the edges of the society and barely making the ends meet. He wants to exploit their poverty and is trying to entice them with a paltry sum of money. He is inept for the post and his family has indulged in rampant corruption for decades. All that he has to offer is a shrill campaign of lies against Modi. He has no vision for the future of India to share

Rahul Gandhi’s great grandfather Mr. Jawahar Lal Nehru was given the noble task of building modern India which he royally messed up. Our nation is still suffering the consequences of his follies in Kashmir. Due to his lack of vision, India faced humiliation at China’s hands in 1962 . Jawahar Lal Nehru talked about poverty eradication. Poverty still exists.

Rahul Gandhi’s grand mother Smt. Indira Gandhi gave a slogan of “Gareebi Hataao” in 1970s. Poverty still exists. His father Mr. Rajiv Gandhi also talked about poverty eradication. After looting the country’s coffers in Bofors deal, he went on to “enlighten” the nation that for each Rupee given by the government for welfare, only 5 paisa reached the poor and the weak.

Who was siphoning the remaining 95 percent while the poor died in the poorly maintained government hospitals? Who was sending their children to study in Harvard while the common citizen struggled to provide his children a basic education? Was it not the cronies of the Gandhi dynasty?

His Mother and he himself were the super PM for 10 years. Corruption was rampant in the schemes like MNREGA. More than the poor, it was the congress fed ecosystem of the middlemen who were the real beneficiaries. Millions upon millions of our countrymen remain poor.

Under Modi government, steps have been taken to empower the poor. Efforts have been made to create environment of opportunity in place of empty slogans and temporary freebies. According to World Data Lab, extreme poverty in India has reduced from 14 per cent in 2012 to 4 per cent in rural areas and from 9.5 per cent to 3.8 per cent in urban areas.in the last 5 years following poverty eradication steps have been taken which have made a real impact:

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin: Over 15 per cent of the 54.95 lakh houses sanctioned in last three years under the Centre’s flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) have been completed, according to data provided by the Housing and Urban Affairs (HUA) Ministry. The government has set a target of one crore houses to be constructed in urban areas across the country over a period of seven years from 2015 to 2022.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana: Over 6 crore LPG connections given so far.

Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana: The largest public health insurance program in the world, Ayushman Bharat, promises to insure 500 million poor people across the country.
