God and Tamil culture are inseparable, let us save the state from Draidian, Aryan myth

The politico-cultural landscape of Tamil Nadu is changing from God hatred society to God worshiping society with clear importance for Hindu rituals and religious practices. It looks like people of the state are going back to the great Bhakti era of Tamil culture and civilization. Tamil as a language has grown and become popular only through Bhakti Tamil literature. Several spiritual leaders, divine poets and writers like Nayanmar, Alwars, Siddhars etc., have developed and enriched Tamil language and literature through Bhakti and devotion to God. Tiruppavai, Periya Puranam, Thevaram, Tiruvachakam, Thiruppugazh, Kamba Ramayan etc., are some of the best examples for Bhakti Tamil literary work that remains immortal even today. The Sanga Tamil has its premise and foundation in divine worship and spiritual spirit.

But unfortunately Tamil Nadu has lost the fragrance and flavour of such great Bhakti tradition and culture with the advent of Dravidian movement that appeared with the agenda to isolate and eliminate Brahmin community, the spirit of God and worship, Hindu cultural identity of the state with clear intent to grab power and perpetuate own agenda.

The theory of Aryan and Dravidian is a real myth but such myth the champions of Dravidian-ism could sell well by infusing anger and hatred in people towards a particular community. They could successfully cut the umbilical cord of the state from the Hindu culture by defining the Tamil society to be originated from Dravidians and the Hindi and Sanskrit speaking people to be Aryan.  They further mocked God, divine practices, promoted breaking of idols and sacred thread of Brahmins in public as rational Dravidian movement besides demolishing the Bhakti culture of the state and Tamil language. In fact the Dravidian champions wants people to be non-believers and missionaries of non-believers. Besides that, they also tried to inculcate the culture of God abusers.

The state must ask how the Dravidian icons separated Tamil language from its yolk and egg shell called divinity and Bhakti and how they suppressed the rich spiritual contributions of several spiritual leaders of ancient Tamil Nadu.

May be to divert people’s attention from the Bhakti and Hindu cultural linkage of Tamil language and Sanskrit, the myth or illusion called Drawidian origin and Aryan invasion was coined, promoted and milked politically. But the end result was disaster where several generations were spoiled with reduction-istic thoughts and ideas of hatred towards Hindi and Sanskrit to nurture ethnic isolation from mainland culture called Hinduism.

But today the state is coming back to its ancient days. Irrespective of caste and creed, economic and educational status, age and gender majority of people of Tamil Nadu are coming back to God with great Bhakti, giving utmost importance to prayers and rituals, shows great patience to stand in long queue before temples, building temples at every 10 meter distance etc. This Bhakti returns seems to be the first sign of disappearance of Dravidian myth where the Dravidian champions are likely to lose their political identity and relevance.

People of the state appears to have understood the importance of peace of mind, serenity, sacredness, purity of prayers and offerings to God are considered to be the only way to attain eternal happiness and that is why people are coming back to God. People appears to have understood the truth that Dravidian champions have done nothing to the state except ruining the state, dividing people on caste basis for own development and development of the family and dynasty.

The undercurrent in Tamil Nadu is quite obvious. The state is yawning for change. The politics of Dravidian-ism must disappear and New Tamil Nadu must be built where merit, quality education, equality where the society is not divided by caste system or hatred towards any community.

The culture of dynastic politics must end and people of the state hope that the new generation leaders like H. Raja of BJP may able to bring change. For the future of the state, the Dravidian politics must go, large proportion of people of the state are gravitating towards the umbilical cord of Tamil culture and language – Bhakti period to unify Tamil Nadu with India’s identity – Hinduism.
