DMK and Congress Alliance in Tamil Nadu

Annamalai is right, the fight is between BJP and DMK and not AIADMK. Let AIADMK if it desires, fight DMK. Fight of BJP in Tamil Nadu should focus on corruption where both the Drawidians parties would go defunct.

The Dravidian parties of Tamil Nadu are well aware that the ground under their feet is slipping and have resorted to contemptible methods to find their footing.

The real strength of DMK today is congress, VCK, left and other alliance partners and without the alliance, DMK at best can only see day dream of coming to power.

If both congress candidate and DMK candidate loses the by-poll, that would be good for VCK, MDMK and congress because they can collectively corner DMK and can limit the DMK to go for a coalition government than single party dominance.

looks like EPS got highly inspired by PM Modi and therefore he is focussing a lot on development of the state and not the development of a family or elevation of his son or son-in-law etc., as practiced by other political parties in the state.

A broken, dilapidated, weak and precarious DMK is extremely necessary for the existence and growth congress party in Tamil Nadu.

It looks like the DMK candidates poured money like anything to come to power with the hope of a coalition government at the centre and with considerable number of seats in parliament, DMK can hard bargain and can also dismantle the AIADMK government in the state.

JDS, the alliance partner of congress in Karnataka has realized that the landslide victory of BJP in Karnataka and the imminent defeat of congress party is must for the survival of JDS government. 

Exploiting poor, minority appeasement for vote bank politics, misusing the office to institutionalize corruption and scam, perpetuating nepotism and dynastic culture in politics are the wonderful gifts of congress party to India.

The confusion of Dravidian or Tamil is deep rooted and the confusion was intelligently being created by EV Ramasamy Naicker and the sister political force of EVR ideology, the DMK.
