Ultra-Islamist Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and their ideological ally Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) have started notorious activities in Bangladesh from Friday, July 28. On this day, BNP held a meeting at Dhaka city’s Naya Paltan area where more than one hundred thousand members and activists of these radical Islamic forces organized a rally, wherefrom continuous agitation program was declared through video message by BNP’s acting chairman and convicted terrorist Tarique Rahman.
Earlier, several leaders of this party have openly declared of taking revenge on each and every member of ruling Awami League while they even went further by saying, “agents of Awami League, including its patron Hindus and India will be taught a befitting lesson once BNP returns to power”. Attendees of this program chanted anti-India and anti-Hindu slogans, while some of them chanted “Bangladesh is Muslimstan, Hindus go to Hindustan”.
Meanwhile, in another peace rally which was organized by the youth front of Awami League, a Hindu female named Purnima Rani Shil, who was gang-raped at the age on 14 by BNP members in 2001 at Ullapara area in Sirajganj district said: “If BNP returns to power, thousands of Hindu girls will fall victims of notoriety of this anti-Hindu party. This party has destroyed my childhood and youthhood. They have driven my family out of the village. I did not get justice anywhere, as during 2001-2006 this country went into the grips of agents of Pakistan and enemies of humanity. Khaleda Zia is the godmother of anti-Hindu crimes while her son, convicted terrorist Tarique Rahman is a puppet of Pakistanis. They want to turn a secularist Bangladesh into another Pakistan. We Hindus have been living in peace since 2009 when Awami League under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came to power. No one dared pulling us from the streets or entering our homes and continuing notoriety. No one dared showing red-eyes. We Hindus do not want Bangladesh to slip into the hands of criminals like the BNP and Jamaat”.
She further said, the word human rights does not fit into the lips of BNP men, including its leader Tarique Rahman. All of them are cancer! If they return to power, Bangladesh will be destroyed. We have fought the war of independence of this country against Pakistani occupation forces. We Hindus also have sacrificed lives. Hundreds and thousands of Hindu girls and women were raped by the Pakistani monsters during our war of independence.
BNP and Jamaat consider us as their enemies as we have defeated their Pakistani masters in 1971 and driven them out of this land. We shall not let Bangladesh once again go into the grips of puppets of Pakistan. We shall not let this country become another Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Friday said they have started the “final part of war” against Sheikh Hasina and her government. Leaders of this party have asked their supporters to stay in Dhaka city until they unseat Awami League government.
According to media reports, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party has been getting millions of dollars from dubious sources, which have been used against the Awami League government. It was also reported in the media that despite the acute financial crisis in Pakistan, Islamabad has been sending huge amounts of cash to BNP while notorious figures such as Dawood Ibrahim have also been helping this ultra-Islamist party with large amounts of money.
It may be mentioned here that, Bangladesh Nationalist Party has been spending millions of dollars towards lobbyist activities in the United States and European nations, while the party has also hired US President Joe Biden’s scandal-plagued son Hunter Biden as its lobbyist.
Additionally, this ultra-Islamist party is running a massive media assault against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League government through social media and international news media.
