Writing is my passion and my view is that if one has come to this world, one should contribute some good thoughts for the benefit of others. I love nature watching and in fact many of my articles find a mention about the behavior of various flora and fauna and revolve around the environment. I also keep thinking and writing about celestial bodies and their movement and try to write something about the mysteries surrounding them about which our knowledge is too meagre. Oft it is observed, rather experienced, by many of us that a visit – be it some of the websites or physical presence in banks or other establishments and one is astonished to find that many of the time the web portal does not open or system itself is down due to some or the other technical glitches. In fact, this has become a common term to hear and being observed nowadays in such establishments. Has anyone wondered what might be the reason behind such network or computer system going down? No. In case of visit to Web Portal(s), we just retry a couple of times by hitting the refresh button and still finding no success we just leave it.

At least, I have been to various countries across the length and breadth of the world and hardly have I come across even a single instance of network or system going awry as is commonly observed in our country on a day-to-day basis. The probable cause might be that majority of the crème-de-la-crème person(s) in whatever field of work– hardware, software, engineering, web designing et al, migrates to some developed country(ies) for the sake of earning more money, good prospects or for achieving a luxurious lifestyle with all accompanying comforts.

In fact, the target of majority of the parents has become such that their offspring should get a placement abroad and even settle abroad. It may be said there is enough brain-drain from our country to advanced countries, making the latter even more beneficial by extracting the innovative ideas from our brain to a remarkable extent. There needs to be some curtailment in such migratory movements, at least initially before one head for abroad and thus help in improving our own science and technology to a much larger extent.

A thought process is required to the fact that when one does one’s schooling and college in one’s motherland it should well be the first and foremost morale duty of one to serve one’s own motherland from where one obtained not only elementary education but higher secondary and even college education, at least for some period of time before even thinking of going abroad for career purpose. It is targeted to make India Number One in the world by 2047 when the Nation celebrates the centenary of its independence.

Indeed already the country is progressing but still it will be an ‘add-on’ towards fulfilment of the target set to make the country Number One in world by 2047 if some such rules are formulated making it mandatory for such foreign migraters to initially serve the Motherland and compulsorily work at least for a specified period say five years and thus serve the Motherland first before thinking of serving other countries by way of sharing their intellect through their intelligent minds, thereby take into consideration the wellness and more progress of our own country first.

Even Fundamental rights do not speak about right to move freely throughout the world but even if it taken as one’s right to move and settle down anywhere in the world, that does not imply that one merely forgets one’s duty towards one’s Nation. Right to Education was added as a Fundamental Right.

Needless to mention, for one to avail the benefits of Fundamental Rights one also needs to fulfil one’s Fundamental Duties and that being so why not add one of the duties for a citizen to work for the nation first at least for five years before even thinking of moving for work abroad or migrating to a foreign land for better career prospects or money and thus one is and should be compelled to pay back some portion of their intelligence and innovative ideas in return for the school and college education obtained in the course of so many years in their own country, so that at least some portion of their intelligence is brought to benefit by one’s own motherland.

Many a times, such movement to a foreign land is for good, that is, for permanent settlement, and the motherland which gave basic education to them, herself is divest of reaping any benefit from such intelligent minds. No doubt, foreign exchange is earned but only money does not matter to a country when actually the brain is being drained which is very valuable asset compared to the foreign currencies and we should not allow the enriched brain to be lost. Now, the reason behind such migratory move may be argued as not sufficient salary being provided here or not much facilities existing for carrying out the research work etc.

Sufficient facilities for research work in various fields should be extended as also salary provided handsome so that those foreign movers are not encouraged to move out of the country and instead serve our own country. If an intelligent person moves to a foreign land and does the innovative work there, it becomes highly beneficial only to that foreign country and which is very valuable which cannot be fathomed with the money one earns abroad and just by paying a comparatively peanut amount as emoluments, grab on the priceless innovative brain of such hi-tech people and which is in fact an absolute loss to our own development.

It is high time a consideration is given to formulating some stipulations whereby it is made mandatory for every foreign employment-seekers or migration-planning people to first serve their own Motherland for a definite period of time, say five years or so, without which clearance for going abroad should not at all be provided. If such parameter is evolved, then it will definitely help in realizing the target of making our nation Number One by the targeted year of 2047.

There may hardly be any two opinions on the fact that maximum number of skilled foreign employment seekers might be from our country only. For that matter, many of the foreign migrating employment seekers go for good, that is never to return to the motherland, thereby forgetting the fact that the basics of their education were taught by the Gurus, Teachers, Mentors and Professors from their motherland. A serious thought to the above is and should be the need of the hour.
