I recently heard Akhilesh Yadav complaining that Modi and Yogi are busy with inauguration and laying foundation stone ceremonies as election in UP are approaching; interestingly, he does not stop here. He adds on that, they are inaugurating facilities for which his government did a lot of work. He said the same for Purvanchal Express, he is saying the same for the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.
That’s so convenient for BJP reaping the benefits of someone else’s hard work. Poor Akhilesh Yadav, he and his government worked so hard on all these projects that people of UP royally destroyed his party in both, the Lok Sabha election where you could literally count the number of seats the party won on your hand i.e. 5 and in Assembly elections where they one 47 out of 403 with vote share almost half of what BJP got.
So, why did people do so much injustice to him and his party? Even when his party gifted free laptops to certain students in 2012 with his and Mulayam Singh Yadav’s picture on the laptop bag and a catchy caption “purey hote vaadey” along with the father son picture as a screensaver once the laptop started.

Why people why?
I mean the party ordered a whooping 15 lakh laptops, its another thing that only 6 lakh of them reached the students. Only god or probably he knows what happened to the rest 8 lakh laptops. Maybe rats took them home, like they drank all the confiscated liquor in Bihar once. I don’t know! Rats are clever these days. Some of the laptops that were probably spared by the rats, were damaged in the rain. Of course it was the fault of the officers as per the all hard wroking Mr. Akhilesh Yadav. His words: “Our job is to formulate the policy and it is the job of the officers to ensure that it’s distributed” Quite convenient! Isn’t that? What can the government do if there is corruption? In short the laptops didn’t reach the students and last I could find, the debt of around Rupees 900 crore that Akhilesh’s smart, promising government owed to HP that supplied the Laptops was also not payed.
That’s not all about laptops. Akhilesh Yadav is smart. He did something extraordinary with his laptop scheme. His scheme was to provide 15 Lakh Laptops to students every year. Focus on every year! I meant at least before the elections. However, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav ran this scheme only for one year. After one year, he claimed “Our objective was to make people realize how much this technology was needed and we were successful in creating this awareness“. Thank god, Akhilesh Yadav told the people of UP the importance of Laptops during an election year in 2012. People of UP used to think that laptops and tablets are just some fancy table tops. Thank you Akhilesh Ji for enlightening us.
Maybe in 2016 when demonetization happened, he and his party was not left with enough money to tell the people of UP the importance of liquor or e-rickshaws. Evil Demonetization!
This was the latest stunt he had pulled. He would launch a new scheme with all the fanfare but (there is an important ‘but’ here, don’t forget it), but after scrapping an old one. Unemployment allowance scheme, Kanya Vidyadaan Scheme, e-books and e-Library scheme; they were launched with all the fanfare and mumbo jumbo but soon, sooner then expected they were scrapped; and scrapped with pin drop silence. No body figured out what happened. Same amount of budget allocation every year but for a different scheme. Classic Ponzi scheme; the “Topi” #kaamboltahai.
Whatever one may say, Akhilesh Bhaiya has a big heart. I am not kidding! He literally gifted a constituency seat to his beloved wife, Dimple Yadav in 2012. Remember, I not talking about the nomination, I am talking about the electoral victory. Bhabhi Ji won Kannuaj constituency unopposed and became the sixth member of the Yadav family to hold an elective post. Unopposed theoretically means, if she would have casted her own vote for herself, she would have won as there was no competition. Bhaiya Ji‘s magic! Just a thought! what did you gift your wife this birthday or anniversary? You need to learn from him! #kaamboltahai.
This was the time when the country was suffering from “Dhritrashtra Syndrome“, don’t look at me, I did not make this up, I just googled it now. I don’t know who was being referred to as Dhritrashtra or Duryodhan, but I definitely for sure know who Draupadi was at that time; the women of UP. A report by Union Home Ministry confirmed women most unsafe during Akhilesh’s rule. There was a 61% increase in crime against women in 2014-15 compared to 2010-11. There were 50% more rapes in UP as soon as Akhilesh Yadav came to power as compared from the year before. #kaamboltahai

Those were the days when boys made mistakes(Ladke, ladke hain. Galti ho jati hai).
Its not only the women that were unsafe, crime in general increased several fold. Remember Akhlaq Khan? I would be really surprised if your answer is in a negative. You remember him only because this case happened in 2015, you would not know any such names from 2012-2014, at the time when there were over three dozen communal riots in his first two years. I explicitly say first two years, because once BJP come to power at the center in 2014, for some intellectual reasoning the onus of any and all the communal riots anywhere in the country by default goes to BJP. I don’t know why. So, I am specifically talking about the time when there was no BJP anywhere, neither at the center nor in the state. I am not at all talking about the more than 200 communal riots that took place during Akhilesh Yadav’s complete tenure. I will also not talk about Muzaffarnagar riots and the Saifai festivities; every body knows about them. #kaamboltahai
Moreover, what are we complaining about Rapes, Loot, Murders, Extortion, Robbery etc. etc. when the government literally goes ahead and tries to withdraw cases against terrorists like Waliullah and Shameem who were accused of Varanasi serial blast that took lives of 25 people. The audacity of Akhilesh Yadav was not that he tried to withdraw the cases after he won the election, the audacity was that he put it in the election manifesto. In its election manifesto of 2012 the party promised to review charges against terror suspects to prevent the harassments of innocents. Innocents!! Thanks to the Court that slammed Akhilesh Yadav’s government for trying to encourage terrorism in order to appease its loyal vote bank. #kaamboltahai
I guess people of UP did not like this and then in 2017 and 2019 #kaambolgaya. By means of this blog I am just trying to pay a small tribute to Akhilesh Bhaiya‘s tenure as chief minister of UP.
Coming back to the inauguration ceremonies, It is not that Akhilesh Yadav did not do anything constructive, he did. Some notable mentions: He built a Rupees 51 crore Haj House in Ghaziabad, He built a Rs 200 Crore swimming pool in Saifai Village for which he was so dedicated that he suspended an IAS officer Mr. Singh for delays in the sanctions. By the way, a non-MY officer is more than likely to get fired for any reason; one time Bhaiya ji and Bhabhi Ji were stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes, result? three officers fired!! 30 minutes!! Who says government processes are slow?
Akhilesh Yadav inaugurated an incomplete Agra-Lucknow Expressway, riddled with corruption and controversies. Moreover, Akhilesh Yadav also inaugurated Yamuna Expressway which was actually built by the previous government lead by Mayawati. You might have noticed, I didn’t put the references in this paragraph for the claims regarding expressways, as a matter of fact, I am writing a complete article on the Expressways in UP and would be posted soon, where you would have the opportunity to verify the veracity of the claims by cross referencing with the links that I will be providing. By the way, on the left of Mr. Yadav in the picture, Mr Azam Khan is currently languishing in Sitapur Jail pertaining to cases of money laundering and amassing property using unaccounted money.
