While we are witnessing one of the biggest humanitarian crisis of all times, the liberals of India have kept mum on what is happening in Afghanistan. In their pathetic attempt to compare Hindutva and Islamic terrorism, they are trying to find a common ground between Sharia and Manusmriti, to defend the gun-holding preachers of peace.

The fall of Kabul has terrified the lives of the commoners of Afghanistan and specifically that of women. Let me give you one example about what happened to a woman named Shukria Barakzai in the last Taliban rule in 1999. Barakzai had fallen ill and had to go to the doctor for a regular check-up. To step out of home, according to sharia, a woman needs a Maharram [a male guardian] at all times. But, Barakzai had a daughter and her husband was out for work. So, she shaved the head of the daughter, made her dress like a boy to pass her off as a Maharam and wore a blue burqa with long sleeves to cover her nail paint. Taliban bans nail polish too. Around 4:30 p.m. they left the doctor’s office with a prescription. They were heading toward the pharmacy when a truckload of Taliban terrorists from the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice pulled up beside them.

The men regularly drove around Kabul in pickup trucks, looking for Afghans to publicly shame and punish for violating their moral code. The men jumped out of the truck and started whipping Barakzai with a rubber cable until she fell over, then continued whipping her. When they finished, she stood up, crying. She was shocked and humiliated. She had never been beaten before.

Barakzai who is now a prominent politician in Afghanistan recalls the horror of the last Talibani rule and the rules of Sharia in her interview to the Atlantic. She has been the voice of oppressed women since then.

Sharia, as they say, is in accordance with Quran, Hadis, Sunnah is a nightmare for women. These are some rules for women according to sharia, a woman cannot go out with Maharram, a male guardian, she cannot hang out with friends, Women are not allowed to interact with boys over 12 or men who are not family. Women can get an education but not in a regular school, college or madrasas where boys or men too study. Music is illegal under Sharia law. The Taliban had punished those who played music or danced on tunes at parties. Burqa is mandatory. Display of beauty is not allowed under Sharia law. The Taliban stipulate that girls above eight must wear burqa when accompanying a male member of the family or when they interact with an outsider at home. Sharia says, that women should speak in a voice that is not audible to a stranger whether in a gathering of women or in public.

Wearing high-heeled shoes was banned by the Taliban, who stipulated that women should walk in such a manner that no man should hear her footsteps. Sharia does not allow women to be seen on balconies of their homes. Filming or displaying images of women anywhere including in newspapers, books or posters are prohibited under sharia. If a woman dares to break the aforementioned laws she will be subjected to public humiliation, flogging and stoning to death.

All things have happened during all the Islamic regimes all around the world and thanks to technology, that some incidents where women were killed because of the violation of Sharia, were recorded during the last Talibani rule. Shukira Barakzai, Bibi Ayisha and thousands of women were publicly humiliated. But, the so-called champions of human rights and the anti-Hindu gang is trying to link the draconian Islamic law with Manusmriti, the Code of life. Manusmriti [which has not been referred to, for the last many centuries, thanks to its gross interpolation by The British and the so-called historians of our nation].

Manusmriti, in its no Shloka, humiliates women in any way. I would even say the modern feminist books would have to seek further amendments to match up to Manusmriti. The British scholars for their Divide and rule policy changed the actual meaning of some Shlokas of the Manusmriti, added some shlokas of their own to create a rift in the society. They tried to project it as a manual used by so-called upper caste people against the so called lower caste people. But this is far from truth.

Original Manusmriti is not anti-women nor is it anti-shudra. What was burnt by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar on 25th December 1927, was a not original Manusmriti, but it was a grossly interpolated copy of it.

There are different shlokas in Manusmriti where a woman are considered the backbones of the society. We all know the famous shloka,

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः।
यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफलाः क्रियाः ॥ ५६ ॥

meaning: Where women are honoured, there the gods rejoice; where, on the other hand, they are not honoured, there all rites are fruitless.

Yet another Shloka from Manusmriti :

पितृभिर्भ्रातृभिश्चैताः पतिभिर्देवरैस्तथा।
पूज्या भूषयितव्याश्च बहुकल्याणमीप्सुभिः ॥ ५५ ॥

Meaning: Yājñavalkya (1.82).—‘Women should be honoured with ornaments, clothes and food, by their husbands, brothers, fathers, parental relations, mothers-in-law, fathers-in-law, brothers-in-law and maternal relations.

There are 100s of shlokas like this where women are giving their due respect in Manusmriti, but it is beyond the brains of our liberal friends who do not want to see this side as it doesn’t fit their agenda. This Anti-Hindu agenda has been going on for ages and this is a well-planned operation to disintergrate the Hindu society further. The feminists of the world have written long articles on ‘Manusmiriti being anti-women without using the right references but they do not dare to write a single line on sharia which is the actual threat to feminism!
