In 2013 I had changed my mind about Narendra Modi; In 2018 my belief in Modi has strengthened.

Right from his first decision, which took the world by surprise, for the first time in our history, heads of all SAARC countries were invited to be part of the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. The foreign policy had seen only rapid strides ever since – with India playing a pivotal role in the formation of the unique and prestigious International Solar Alliance (for which he got UN’s most prestigious award Champion of the earth), with India joining the many key alliances of the world and more importantly the unique ways in which Prime Minister Modi developed a personal rapport with many world leaders. Surgical strikes are proof enough of his commitment to keep the country’s flag flying high; his most understated achievement is the improved internal security situation of the country. Outside of J&K and Punjab, we haven’t had a terrorist attack in our towns and cities. The violence in the North Eastern states has come down by 50%, which has also prompted the removal of the AFSPA; the drastic reduction in the number of Naxals and their activities in the country.

Through a unique UDAN program, 25 new airports have been made operational in the country (compare that to 70 airports in the 70 years since Independence!). The year 2017 saw more number of people take flights than those who traveled in AC Trains. If this isn’t reflective of our economic growth and improved connectivity.

NO JOBS added screamed every opposition leader and the English media followed suit. Not one media wanted to point out the fact that the Modi government has put significant focus on entrepreneurship through revolutionary schemes like MUDRA and Standup India, and this data is traditionally not captured as parts of “Jobs”.

“Make in India” was mocked to no end, but today when you buy a cell phone, instead of a “Made in China”, today we see a Made in India label. That’s possible because there are about 120 mobile manufacturing units in India. With 12 phones being produced per second, nation now became world number 2 in mobile manufacturing.

In its Endeavour to double the farmers’ income by 2022, the Govt has increased the MSP by 1.5 times. Increased Buffer stock for pulses from 1.5 lakh tons to 20 lakh tons.

The demand for One Rank One Pension (OROP) was also pending for decades. People of India, our brave army personnel had faith in us and we were able to take a decision on OROP. We will always take decisions in the interests of our nation.

The Union cabinet cleared the ordinance on POCSO act whereby death penalty will be given to those convicted of raping a child up to 12 years of age. Centre has cleared the criminal law amendment ordinance and POCSO Act is a part of this amendment.

Indian healthcare is poised for a great leap forward with Ayushman Bharat – which will insure over 50 cr citizens. OBC commissioned has been strengthened.

Due to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, lakhs of children can lead healthier lives. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) has praised it. UNICEF recently undertook a study’s on Swachh Bharat mission. As a result, the organization found out that every rupee that is invested in improving sanitation in the country will help save Rs 4.30. Nicolas Osbert, the chief of WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) while sharing the findings of the survey said, “In a open defecation free (ODF) community, considering medical costs averted, the value of time savings and the value of mortality averted, the financial savings for each household is Rs 50,000 per year,”. The survey also stated that the benefits are highest for the poorest section of the population.

8.2% GDP from 4%, Inflation at 3.5% from 8%, Loans at 8% from 12%, Foreign Exchange Res at $400b from $250b, 31 Cr Jan Dhan Accounts, Sensex at 36k from 21k, Electricity to remotest 18k Villages and many more.

Since 2014, The Supreme Court of India has:

1. Declared ‘Triple Talaq’ unconstitutional
2. Established Right to Privacy
3. Recognized transgender individuals as a legitimate ‘third gender’.
4. Struck off section 66A of the IT act, which allowed arrests for Facebook posts
5. Allowed passive euthanasia for terminal cases
6. Decriminalised consensual homosexuality by partial repeal of Section 377 of Indian Penal Code
7. Upheld validity of Adhaar, appreciated its power to benefit the poor, reconciled it with privacy law
8. De-criminalised adultery, while maintaining it as a ground for divorce
9. Lifted ban on entry of women to Sabrimala Temple

Our judiciary is in its purple patch. Looks like the constitution is not letting us down and strengthening a lot.

In 2014, Narendra Modi had enthused the people of this country like never before, as is evident from the election results. And in the past 4 ½ years, he has shown us how he means business and beyond; how he is receptive to feedback; he has often reminded us about our duties and has led from the front to bring in changes to our system and has encouraged us to dream big to contribute towards a New India by 2022.

This is not in the support of any political party nor to make political gain, it’s just to show the fact what has changed in these 4plus years, Many people ask me that ‘are you a BJP supporter?’ I believe in politics. I feel no human being is beyond politics. I am biased towards NATION interests. I support who guards them. Hence I support MODI. Don’t keep on any masks, as long as I believe my understanding stands right. The Educated and Logical people should understand these things and share with them who required it. Just think before you vote.

For him to guide us towards the dream of New India, it is imperative that he wins in 2019. The noise and the clutter created by the opposition must be drowned in the rain of his achievements. Narendrabhai – like in 2014, I will do whatever I can, to spread your message and help you win again! Aap aage bado, hum tumhare saath hain!

Words Inspired Me:

John F.Kennedy spoke his famous words, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”

African author Idowu Koyenikan’s: “Your pride for your country should not come after your country becomes great. Your country becomes great because of your pride in it.”

Narendra Modi: “Saugandh mujhe is mitti ki, main desh nahi jhukne dunga (I take an oath upon this soil, I will not let the country bow)”.

Jai Hind; Bharat Mata ki Jai.
