Dilution of federalism must for stable India – let us embrace necessary evil to make great India

In the name of federalism, India should not dilute, discount or deny the spirit and feeling of one India, one election, one tax, one ration card, one civil law etc. Unstable, coalition government formed by several tukde tukde gangs and also by congress party in the past (that follows dynastic politics, nepotism and corruption) has ruined India. Only from 2014 onwards India is fortunate to have a stable government and a decisive Prime Minister Narnedra Modi.

In the second term, Modi’s government must explore all possibilities to bring a strong law to prevent tukde tukde gangs forming coalition government and ruining India in distant future. The definition of national and regional political forces must be done soon with mathematical precision. The regional parties’ representation to contest an election for the parliament must be limited to 10% of the total number of seats of the parliament. Rest of the seats should be for the national parties to contest and not for regional parties.

Among the various regional parties in different states must come to a consensus as how many seats each party wants to contest out of the 10% allotted for regional parties. Only through such consultation and agreement, we can limit the dominance of regional parties at all India level. Regional parties play politics with the regional realities and are likely to have no national interest or vision. Imagine if such several regional parties come to power at the centre by forming a coalition government, India as a nation would suffer adversely and on the other hand even the national, international and other policies of India will be based on profit in politics rather by these regional parties than what is inevitable and necessary for the country.

Look at the scenario of DMK, JDS, SP, BSP, RJD, TMC, TDP etc., forming a government at the centre. All these parties are going to fight amongst each other and only way they can live in peace is by engaging in profit making activity than governance. When some of these regional parties by fueling regional chauvinism and hate politics may assume great political importance in the state and therefore defeating them even in the parliamentary election by a national party would be difficult. Therefore India would be either pushed to coalition politics or rule by several regional parties together with the support of a national party. Both situations would create instability, uncertainty and mal-governance.

In order to stop such situation in future, we must dilute the federal structure and must invoke the spirit and feeling of one India rather than one India composed several states with diverse practices and languages.

The above task may not be easy to achieve but if the national parties agrees, certainly even constitutional amendment can be easily achieved to save India from tukde tukde gangs.

Education, national security, health and other politics pertaining to national interest etc., must be under the full control of central government and the state government should not have any role in these aspects. The state government can have minimum freedom to set certain policies and other than that every programme/initiatives of the state government must be approved by the centre provided such initiatives perfectly sync with the national agenda of the union government.

In the name of constitution, federalism, democracy, democratic right etc., we should not let the governance and the vision of our nation to suffer by facilitating a government by tukde tukde gangs and regional forces. Instability, coalition politics, policy paralysis etc., we should not let hereafter to ruin our country. Unless we clip the wings of regional parties by reducing their representation in parliament to just 10%, we cannot make India a stable and development centric country.

Because of the regional politics these days, the mission of one India is taking back seat and as a result only politics prevail and nothing else. Probably the role of regional parties can be made significant in passing certain legislations but their presence must be reduced to 10% to prevent a coalition government by tukde tukde gangs in future.

The patriotic voice of India should be the centre of governance and not regionalism or identity politics. At global level and also in Indian expression ONE INDIA should be the primary and secondary identity of Indians and the nucleus of governance.

Government must look at the above possibility and must initiate/facilitate discussions, must find out modus operandi and only then we can safeguard our future.

Only a stable and decisive government can ensure stability and decisiveness of our country. Therefore government must see how the representation of regional parties can be reduced to 10% of the total strength of the parliament seats to build a New India that shall remain as one India with one soul, one heart, one head and one spirit called Indian. Our cultural identity–Hinduism also we must blossom to achieve universal love, brotherhood and tolerance among different communities in India. Let us be conscious and consciously dilute federalism, the necessary evil to save India.

Azam Khan dangles between to be or not to be

What Azam Khan, Samajwadi Party MP, uttered in the Parliament was too sweet as it was the quality of Urdu language reacted none other than his wife Tazeen Fatima. He faces the rage of the ruling party members of parliament. It was really sad and bad for him. His remarks in verse were not worth gulpable to the women MPs irrespective of the party lines. Initially Azam Khan did not tender his apology amid the sharp criticism and walked out of the Lok Sabha.

However his departure did not check the wrath of the parliamentarians. It was definitely not the first time he came directly under the attack of his adversaries over his acerbic words. Though the MIM Assaduddin Owaisi jumped in his favour by taking a dig at the government. He asked about the fate of a group of ministers constituted against a wave of allegations over the sexual harassment against women in the “Me too” campaign, including against the BJP leader M J Akbar, ex-minister. But he also faced the strong voices amid din. All the development started with the couplet —tu idhar udhar ki baat na kar.

Over this line Bihar MP who was presiding over the chair in absence of the regular speaker Om Birla, asked the senior SP leader not to look to and fro and better address the Chair carefully. But his slip of tongue on eye conversation triggered acrimonious scenes. Then none present on the occasion left the chance to malign him. It was more derogatory than the reference of “Jaishankar Prasad” for a diplomat. Run down Azam looked emboldened by young Akhilesh Yadav’s full support but his fate hangs in imbalace. He finds himself between the oft-used Shakespearean line “to be or not to be.” Politics torments too if logic wanes in impromptu verbal fight.

His position has become like that bungee jumper whose desire for an adventure swiftly turned into a nightmare on snapping of rope mid-air. His remarks were gathering heat on social media with the same magnitutde as the bungee jumper plummated.

The self-designated, self-defined, self-appointed guardians of secularism, democracy, free speech and safety of minority community have developed the habit of criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for everything like how dynast and AAP leader Aravind Kejriwal have been doing.

We must approach all those self-declared intellectuals with pity, empathy and sympathy than with anger or hatred. Unfortunately all those so called intellectuals are searching their identity which they could not trace even from within. Wherever they search their identity, all they could find is PM Modi, his good governance, scam free administration, politics free of nepotism and dynasty, governance free of sycophancy etc.

The glory and reputation of PM Modi is growing day by day and his honesty and simplicity have touched almost every heart in India. It is natural that the 49 is bound to get jealous and restless of the reputation of PM Modi. PM Modiji is revered and respected by everyone because he is honest, promote merit and not caste politics, promotes development of the nation and not development of one family or, nepotism or corruption. Today people see, witness and experience the transformations in several frontiers due to PM Modi so they overwhelmingly support him.

All the 49 intellectuals could have joined PM Modi and supported either water conservation program, or Swatchh Bharat programme or promoting merit based politics or promoting the new educational policy or could have helped India to revive our ancient cultural treasure – Hinduism and could have got some relevance. But it appears none of the 49 self-proclaimed intellectuals ever wants to engage positively and support the mission of New India but instead want to get some space in history by attacking PM Modi.

Today we remember Ravan, Kamsa etc., hanks to Lord Mahavishnu and his 10 avatars. Ravan, Kamsa and Hiranyakaship could have joined the mission of Lord Ram or Krishna and could have corrected all their sins but instead they chose to be greater sinners, started to commit more sins by killing all those praise Lord Ram and Lord Krishna.

The attempt of some self-appointed guardians of democracy and free speech are doing nothing but playing the role of Ravan or Kamsa to enter into the history book through door. When they self-designate that they are the custodians of democracy and secularism they should have joined the mission of New India invoked by PM Modi and thereby could have entered into the history book through front door, but when the thoughts and spirit of some people are that of Ravan or Kamsa, nothing can be done except we should leave them to their peril.

India has changed and advanced ahead. People support PM Modi because he is honest and has dedicated his life for development of India and sab ka vikas. PM Modi tries to create a new order of politics where every Indian has equal opportunity to grow, contribute and take pride. When such India is built naturally all those tukde tukde gangs, sycophants and punkah coolies of dynasts and self-appointed intellectuals will not have much role if they do not change their negative attitude and self-importance. They are unwilling to change and therefore they attack PM Modi and that is how people of India view their attempt.

Indians will remain firm with PM Modi, will offer their unconditional support to make India a great country, country free from dynastic politics, corruption, nepotism and negativity. India also will be united as a country where people from all religion invoke the spirit and feeling of brotherhood through our ancient treasure- Hinduism and Jai Sri Ram.

Confessions of a LeLi worm: Episode 1: Farts don’t douze the fire

Today we are marching with candle to show solidarity with our oldest flipflop comrade Pidilitis. It (out of he/she/it… we care for gender neutrality) might seem always be confused but since we have been attacked by bigoted fascist antibody agent and his force of bodilists, Pidi has been always supportive to us.  But unfortunately today it is on deathbed. If Pidi had been powerful enough, our colleague Femilitis demand of gender neutral public toilets would have been realised and we could have dwelled in the comforts of the toilets rather than fighting fundamentalists and male chauvinists in the body of our Master. But Alas….. !

There was a time when we used to rule many parts of the body. At peak of our glory, the mind and heart of the body was captured by us. We were able to sell many organs of our master to foreign bodies as we dwelled as parasites on rich nutrition of the body.  Infact we have global network of Lelis from Europe and UK to USA and can mobilise an epidemic in few minutes. We could control young cells and inject them with Lelivirus. We could cripple the body of master and get away with rich nutritions pretending to support the body. Along with Marxilitis and Chrislamilitis, we had dream of digging the grave of our master and we were on path of success……..But Alas….!

To be frank, lately we have had to see defeat at the hands of nazi antibodies all over world. We don’t enjoy same  privilege that we used to, because of access to social neurocircuits by antibodies, which we ruled till now. My master’s body is injected with bitter capsules to heal the body and we can’t help but outrage. And we are not alone in it. Our Chaddi Buddies, FoS and FoE (special type of imported worms which replaced good strong desi worms) along with bloody media through which we flow in the body are with us. Except for few bloody media cells, who have been infected by bodilists and have turned against us.  But we are quite creative in our outrage, sometime we return our old assets, flood social neurocircuits with selective contents along with foreign comrades, write letters to our master reminding him to be tolerant to our shit and of course our favourite is candle light vigils. But alas….!

Now the fire of bodilists have spread wide and far. They are growing in numbers. They are working in tandem with master. They mock us with names like sickular (of course we are in business of making people sick, but how can they say it?) and prestitutilitis (as if they are any less sold out). Organ by organ, cells have turned against us. The organs which were far off and cut off from main bloodstream , were also now under their influence. We have also been defeated in foreign bodies also. So far we have survived because we had our agents in the judicious mind and bloody media in the body, we had our cells active in labourous hands and legs of the body. But its declining rapidly.  And only thing we know is to outrage. And that’s what we are doing to save ourselves and our comrades pidilitis. We thought our outrage would limit the spread of fire and we kept on outraging over everything shamelessly.  But alas…!

We didn’t realise that Farts don’t Douze the Fire….  only helps spreading it…!

On this day, Karnataka BJP is set to form Government, let’s see what BJP has done for Hindus in the past and what promises they have made in the 2018 Election

During 2011, the former Karnataka CM donated 110 crores to several temples for development in Karnataka. This is the highest amount donated by any Karnataka chief minister to temples in a short period.

Documents released by the government reveal that approximately 269 temples, religious institutions, and religious charitable trusts (all Hindu), received government funds over 110 crore rupees between 2008 and 2011.

Not only donated funds but also deregulated powerful Mahabaleshwara temple in Gokarna and handed over its management to the Ramachandrapura Mutt.

Several temples which got funds from Government are listed below:

  • Dattatreya Peeta, Gulbarga district – 2 crore
  • Someshwara Kshetra and Hariharapura Kshetra in Chikmagalur district – 3+1 crore
  • Adi Chunchanagiri Kshetra in Mandya district -5 crore
  • Kanaka Peetha in Haveri district -10 crore
  • Kudalasangama, a pilgrimage centre-5 crore
  • pilgrimage centre Basavakalyan-5 crore
  • The Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralaya-10 crore

Temples and Mutts in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, got more than 18 crore as aid from Karnataka.

Yediyurappa also fulfilled the long- pending demands of temple priests, whose salary and perks were doubled, thereby costing the state exchequer 58 crore a year.

गौ माता -हिंन्दुओ के दृष्टिकोण से भाग १

भारतीय राजनीति वर्तमान परिस्थितिओं में हिंदुत्व के ध्रुवीयकरण के बिषम कोणों के तदानुपात में परवर्तित व स्पष्टता की ओर अग्रसर हैं। भाषा के शैब्दिक क्रमो में चेतन होने का अर्थ शायद भारतीय समाज यथार्थ देश की भौतिक परिस्थितियों में सजीवता को ढूढ़ने लगता है, परन्तु यथार्थ परिस्तिथियाँ हमारे समाज व मूल्यों के लिए आदर्शता का अनुभव नही करा पा रहीं हैं। सामान्य भाषा में कहुँ तो गौ शब्द जब कभी अख़बारों, न्यूज़-चैनलों, सोशल-मीडिआ इत्यादी माध्यमों से जनसामान्य के समक्ष प्रस्तुत होता है, तब प्रत्येक संवेदनशील व्यक्ति अपने-अपने विचारित संस्कारित गुणों के अनुसार अपनी -अपनी प्रतिक्रिया देने लगता है।

हम यहाँ पर इस्लामिक, वामपंथी, क्रिसियन व अधार्मिक विचारों की बात ना कर उन चेतन भ्रांन्तिक सनातन हिंन्दुओ की चर्चा करेंगे, जो मुख्यता गौवंश के पतन के लिए मुख्यता जिम्मेदार हैं। आप सोच रहें होंगे ये तो सरा-सर गलत बात है, हिंन्दु कैसे गौवंश के पतन का जिम्मेदार है? एक उदाहरण व प्रश्न दोनों ही एक साथ आप से पूछता हूँ, भारतीय सभ्यता में गौ को देवी व माता की उपाधी प्रदान की गयी है, आपको आभास भी है, माँ व देवी शब्दों से जुड़ी भावना कितनी पवित्र, चरित्रवान, सम्माननीय व पुज्य्नीय है? अब आप अपने मस्तिष्क्य के वैचारिक भाव में जा कर देखिये, प्रायः सरकारी तंत्रो की अनदेखी व कोई सशक्त नीतिज्ञ दृश्टिकोण ना होने के कारण, तथाकथित स्वतंत्रता (जो की ब्रिटिश-यूरोप का भारतीय ब्रिटिश-इंडिया के रूप में शक्ति, बाहूबल्य का स्थांनांतरण था) के उपरांत से ही कोई भी अध्याय गौशाला योजनाओं व देशी प्रजातियों को पुनः स्थापित व उनका नैतिक उत्थान की व्यवस्था किसी भी सरकार द्धारा अंगीगत नहीं किया गया।

सरकारी राजनीतिक विश्लेषण यहाँ हमारा मुख्य मुद्दा नहीं हैं, इस पर चर्चा का अर्थ इसलिए नहीं बनता या तो हिंन्दु समाज 1970 के उपरांत राष्ट्रीय गौ आंदोलन करता जिससे सत्ताधारिओं पर दवाब बनता और गौ हत्या, गौ संरक्षण व गौ संर्वेषण पर एक राष्ट्रीय कानून संसद से पारित हो संबैधानिक तंतुओ द्धारा संचालित होता अपितुः इसके विरुद्ध राजनीतिक पराजय से ध्यान हम स्वयं की जय पर लाते हैं! क्या हमारी जय हमारे स्वयं के कृत-कर्मों द्धारा हुई? अगर हिंन्दु वन्धुं-वान्धवों की जय हुई होती तो आज गौ माता सड़कों पर पड़ने वाला केमिकलयुक्त दूषित कचरा खाने पर मजबूर ना होती, एक समय पशुपालन सिर्फ आर्थिक नहीं किंंन्तु भावनात्मक कला थी, जिसका पालन अपने पूर्वज कल्पांन्तरो से करते आ रहे हैं, परन्तुं आज सामान्यतः शहरों में गाय को सूर्य काल में स्वतंंन्त्र कर, सायं काल में पुनः गौ प्रेम-वश अपने सौभाग्यशील दर्शन देने उपस्तिथ होती हैं और हमारे अभाग्यशाली वन्धुं-वान्धंव जो भी दुग्ध प्राप्त हुआ उसे निकालकर, गाय से अपना सूक्ष्म भावनात्मक संबन्ध प्रदर्शित कर प्रायः इसी क्रम में कार्य करते रहते हैं व निकट भविष्य में कुपोषण की शिकार गौ माता दुग्ध की मात्रा में भारी गिरावट या दुग्ध का ना प्रकट होना देखकर हमारे विजेता वन्धुं-वान्धंव गाय को विदा कर देते हैं, कुछ निर्दयता से तो कुछ सामान्य शिष्टाचार दिखाकर!

जितने भी समय गौ माता शहरों की सडकों, इत्यादि स्थानों से विचरण कर निकलती है, तो क्या प्रत्येक हिंन्दु उन्हें माता या देवी जैसा सम्मान प्रदान करता हैं, उनकी सेवा में कितनी मात्रा में सुलभ भोजन का जलपान कराता हैं? जहाँ प्रदूषण शहरों की शोभा बढ़ाता है, प्रदूषण भी अनेको प्रकार का होता है, वैसे ही गौ माता की समस्याएँ भी अनेकों प्रकार से कुंण्ठित, संक्रमित व आप्रकृतिक रूप से गुण-तत्व धर्म में नकारात्मक प्रभाव दृश्टिगोचर करातीं आ रहीं हैं। एक तो किसी भी माध्यम द्धारा सकारात्मक क्रिया नहीं वहीं पर इतनी नकारात्मकता से परिपूर्ण प्रतिक्रियाएं, यही कुछ कारण हैं भारतीय गौ की दुग्ध की मात्रा व प्रजनन क्षमता में नकारात्मक जीवांन्तरण इस्लामिक आक्रमणों से ब्रिटिश हुकूमत व तथाकथित स्वतंन्त्रता धर्मनिर्पेक्ष सरकार से अब तक हमारे भारतीय समाज द्धारा गर्भित है!

सामान्य हिंन्दु वन्धुं-वान्धंव कर्मकांड की आध्यात्मिक क्रियाओं के लिए गौ को कभी-कभी पूरी, रोटी, चोकर इत्यादि खिला आते हैं, ठीक उसी प्रकार गौ-रक्षा ,गौ संरक्षण के आधार पर कितनी व्यापारिक राजनीतिक संस्थायें अनेकों स्वरुप लेकर गौवंश की सरकारी भूमि पर अपने व्यापारिक व मनोरंजनपूर्ण कृत्यकर्मो को गौ सेवा का प्रसाद मान कर अपने आराध्य देवी-देवता को धन्यबाद देते हैं। कुछ व्यक्तिगत अनुभव ऐसे हैं, जहाँ बीमार गौ माता को स्वयं एक प्रसिद्ध मंदिर के अधिपति ही डंण्डे मारकर भगा देते कि कहीं गाय को कुछ हो गया तो अन्तेष्टि क्रिया पर कहीं धन मंदिर का व्यर्थ ना हो जाए! तो कभी बीमार गौवंश के लिए मदद कहाँ से मांगे?

किस हिंन्दु वन्धुं-वान्धंव को संपर्क करें और हिंन्दु संगठनों से जुड़ी राजनीतिक पार्टी के नेता भी इस कार्य में कोई सहायता प्रदान नहीं करते! तो कभी चिकित्सक ढूढ़ने पर, कुछ दिनों में मिल भी गया तो वो कहता है-आवारा गाय है तो पहले बताते जब उससे कहा गया आप अपना शुल्क ले लें तो भी वही राग अलापता रहा आवारा, पालतु यह शब्द व यह सारे ही भाव किस प्रकार से किसी आराध्य ऊर्जा के लिए उपयोग हो सकते हैं? इससे तो बेहतर आध्यात्मिक धार्मिक भावना का ना होना वा मानवीय दया का होना लाभदायक होता! क्योंकि हमारे वन्धुं-वान्धंवो के धार्मिक दिनचर्या व अपने स्वयं गुणभावनुसार बनाये धार्मिक नियमों में दया भाव का होना घ्रणित अंकित है। जहाँ आज शहरी हिंन्दु जनसख्याँ गौ मूत्र, गोबर से बचने के लिए गौ वंश को यहाँ-वहां निर्दयता से प्रताड़ित कर उन्हें भटकते-भटकते कसाइयों को स्वयं ही बलिदानित कर देतें हैं ,वहीं कुछ स्थानों पर तो स्वयं कट्टरपंथी हिंदुत्व संगठनों से जुड़े कार्यकर्ता ही मृत्य गौवंश की चमड़ी व गौमांस में अपना भी प्रतिशत लाभार्थ करते हैं।

कितने प्रतिशत हिंन्दु जनता गौ वंश विषेशकर गौ माता से जुड़े पच्छिमी वैज्ञानिक व आध्यात्मिक तथ्यों को जानती समझती व उन्हें अपनाती हैं, जहाँ जर्मन, रशिअन, फ्रेंच व अमेरिकन वैज्ञानिको ने दशकों पूर्व ही भारतीय वैदिक सभ्यता में दैवीयतुल्य गौ माता पर अनेको भौतिक, वैज्ञानिक शोधों द्धारा अचंभित व अकल्पनीय विश्लेषणों को साक्ष्य् प्रमाणित व संपादित किया हैं। वैदिक आध्यात्मिक सूत्र अत्यंत सूक्ष्म होते हैं कि आप ग्रंथो को पढ़ तो सकते हो परंतु अध्ययन नहीं कर सकते, आप श्लोक विचार बातों को याद तो रख सकते हो पर उनका स्वाध्यात्मिक स्मरण नहीं कर सकते, आप जानकारियों से परिपूर्ण हो सकते हो पर ज्ञानपूर्वक आभाषित नहीं। तर्कना पच्छिमी भौतिक विज्ञान का आधार है परंतु भारतीय सनातन वैदिक सभ्यता अनुभव-वोध पर अतिसूक्ष्म तलहटी से प्रारंम्भ होती है जहाँ तक प्रायः मनुष्यों के जन्मांतर भी अंत प्राप्त नहीं करते।।

Changing geo-strategic imperatives in the Indian Ocean region

The ‘x’ generation of the 21st century is one marked with increasing substance in human rights implementation, increasing prevalence of civil wars and an increasing significance of the Indian Ocean Region (IOR). The continuum of this region stretches from Iran, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh in the north to Antarctica in the south, and from Indonesia and Australia in the east to Africa and Arabian peninsula in the west. The name of the ocean stems from the fact that it shares the longest shoreline with India.

India was one of the first four ‘cradles of civilisation.’ Not surprisingly was it also one of the earliest regions in the world to engage in trade, both internOally and externally. While trade along the silk route flourished, outshining it was the trade across the ‘spice route’ of the 15th century. Here began India’s historical spice-trade ties with Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Starting with the establishment of Kozhikode and the ancient port Muziris in Kerala, trade of spices took flight from Kerala and substantiated cross-national ties with present-day Oman, Iran, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Jordan and Egypt.

But the history of India’s maritime trade dates back to the 2700 B.C.E, a time when Meluhha (recognised by many scholars as the Indus Valley/ Harappan Civilisation) was the prime land of ‘sea-farers,’ as mentioned by various Mesopotamian texts. These texts also mention exchanges in carnelian, lapis lazuli, copper, gold, varieties of wood, spices, and garment, between Meluhha and the regions of Dilmun and Magan, recognised by most scholars as modern day Oman and Bahrain island, respectively. The world’s first dock at was situated at Lothal, a Harappan site in Gujarat.

The classical era witnessed maritime trade across the Indian Ocean being dominated by the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean, the Han Empire in China, the Mauryan Empire in the Indian subcontinent and the Achaemenid Empire in the Middle East region of Persia. Pliny’s ‘The Periplus of the Erythraean Sea’ provides detailed records of these historical interactions spanning across the IOR. Not just commodities, interactions across Indian Ocean were also bolstered by religious discussions and spread of Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. While Buddhism was one of India’s greatest gifts in shaping China’s social foundations, Islam adopted a similar route during 700 C.E to spread to India, China and surrounding regions of Middle East and Central Asia.

Also dating back to the 4th century B.C.E are the India-Africa ties. India’s links with Africa are centuries old and entrenched in these links are extensive historical trade relations, people-to-people ties and tales of socio-political support. The Periplus described thin clothing, figured linens, topaz, vessels of glass, lapis lazuli, gold and silver plates, silk, yarn and indigo as main items exchanged between India and Africa, highlighting the wide expanse of this import-export network. An important aspect was also the trade off Swahili coast in East Africa during 7-8th centuries B.C. While Africa was famous for the export of ivory, gold, and slaves, it received beads, cloth, ointments, oils, and decorated bowls in exchange from Western India. In fact, the north Swahili coast from Lamu to Unguja (Zanzibar) was used by vessels from the Middle East and western India for trans-shipment purposes. Much later in the history of the world, India and Africa strengthen these bonds through shared values of anti-racism and anti-colonialism, while forming the basis of Asia-Africa solidarity under Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s rule in Delhi. Today, these centuries-old links are being fostered by the 2.7 million Indian diaspora occupying Africa, as well as the increasing shift of diplomatic focus towards our old friends.

In its attempt to consolidate its geo-strategic and democratic strengths in the IOR, India’s foreign policy in the last decade has been largely focused on expanding co-operation with its Asian neighbours, as well as with western superpowers of the European Union and the United States. Moreover, China’s greater presence in the IOR and its ‘string of pearls’ threatens India’s footprint in the region, geo-politically and militarily. Hence, simultaneous to this have been the India’s attempts to counter domination of China in the region, and across global economic, technical and developmental aspects. In the process, India has been attempting to gain on Chinese developments in the global context, from inviting Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) at large, to prioritising military security and technological advancement for economic prosperity. Even as he came in power, PM Modi conducted what was called a ‘mini SAARC Summit.’ The country’s changing geo-strategic viewpoints, inclined towards the east and south, have undermined its historical connections across the continuum with Africa, the Middle East and southern Europe.

Efforts to rekindle these historical ties are now defining characteristics of Modi foreign policy, 2.0. One such efforts is called ‘Project Mausam.’ Started by the Indian Ministry of Culture in 2014, Project Mausam aims to revive maritime ties among the Indian Ocean ports across Kerala, Sri Lanka and Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries, such as Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. At a micro level, it also attempts to understand India’s cultural predispositions in a maritime milieu. While the geo-political aim of the project is noble, it remained dormant for a long time after its grand inauguration during the World Heritage Summit at Doha, Qatar in June 2014. However, last year, Project Mausam was extended up to 2020 with the pre-approved fund of about Rs. 60 lakhs under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) as the implementing party, and with research support of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).

Also under focus were efforts to rigorously regenerate connections with the African subcontinent. PM Modi’s first ever tour to four African nations in July 2016, a month right after President Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to the continent, was a powerful symbol of the revived friendship between the two subcontinents. India’s focus on multilateral engagements like BRICS, UN General Assembly and G-20 is also a pivotal development, while its increasing participation in India-Africa Summits and IBSA (India-Brazil-South Africa) creates a better future for both India-Africa connectivity. Most importantly, in the process, Global South-South Cooperation is being enhanced immensely.

As history suggests, the geo-strategic imperatives of the Indian Ocean Region significantly outlined the cooperation among India, Africa and the Middle East. While our overarching approach has been dominated by policies like the ‘Look East’, ‘Act East’, and cooperation with major global superpowers, Projects like ‘Mausam’ and reclaiming the ‘Spice route’ need to cover wider ground. This historical outlook must help us realise the need for constancy in our foreign policy towards our ‘old friends and old family’.

Besides due to so many reasons we seniors don’t know correct position of unlisted co. though we have shares either in physical mode OR in demat.

Trust CBDT will provide relaxation on this point understanding practical difficulty.

Movie by 49 directors, same story, script, screenplay, action…. So stale, fie

Once again a new movie has come to the political theatre of the opposition parties in India but the only interesting aspect is that the movie has been directed this time not by one director but by 49 directors.

One may get curious as why 49 directors have made a movie and what is so different. The greatest irony is that the story is same, the script is same, the screenplay is same, actions are same and also the stunt scenes are same….. then why 49 directors are required to make such movie?

It is quite natural that such movie with the above characteristics would not get any traction from people, no one would make any attempt to pirate or video graph the movie secretly and in fact, would not even watch such stale movie, the question is how to market such movie in Indian political theatre? Make the direction of such movie by 49 directors so people may wonder oh …..49 directors have done a single movie!

The 49 directors have directed the above movie more to keep their name being discussed in prime time debate in TV channels so that they would feel happy that they are still alive and not dead.  Even to make believe themselves that they are alive, they need Narendra Modi and debate on intolerance, lynching and Jai Sree Ram.

The new found love of the so called custodians of secularism and liberal thinking is more meant to attack Hinduism, mock chanting of Jai Sree Ram and appease minority communities. Actually they are dividing the communities in the name of acting as they are the true protectors of minority communities and voice of secularism.

Most of the lynching incidents are falsely concocted stories, far from Hindu-Muslim fight or relating to Jai Sree Ram. But the so called ‘pseudo-liberals’ and ‘neo-intelligentsia’ finds lots of fancy feelings to portray India as the land of lynchers.

India has changed. People of India are not fools to follow the self-notified intelligentsia or their one sided story to describe the corruption and scam free governance of PM Modi as so bad and the rule of dynastic politics, corruption, minority appeasement are great.

India will remain with Narendra Modi and BJP and will continue to support the good governance of PM Modi, will try to infuse the spirit and sense of one India with the cultural identity of Hinduism and will make India Ram’s Rajya.

Politicians and their affiliates in the past have tried their best to sell the story of hatred and negativity against Narendra Modi, did everything that they can to malign the reputation of PM Modi but have failed miserably. Now their fan club and sycophants are enacting the same story with the hope that India’s political theatre would find such movie so exciting and the excitement would incite hatred towards PM Modi and BJP.

The 49 directors are very unfortunate and are trying to work overtime to achieve a goal that is unachievable to them purely because Indian electorates are wise and intelligent.

PM Modi has reformed India and the very thinking of Indians and also the political landscape.  Every Indian is so passionate about New India invoked by PM Modi and are supporting PM Modi to make India a great land where everyone participate in building the same as equal equity holders.

The vision of PM Modi is caste and religion-less, non-gender specific and sab ka vikas centric. People of India must lend their unconditional support to PM Modi to make India a great land, the governance free of corruption, scam, nepotism, dynastic politics and politics of hatred, minority appeasement and discrimination. Let us call the movie of 49 directors stale and fie and let us invoke the great culture of Hinduism to promote universal brotherhood and unity among all religion.

सती प्रथा: एक समग्र विश्लेषण

आज तक हिंदुओं के साथ भारतीय इतिहासकारों ने हमेशा छल किया है। वामपंथी विचारधारा से प्रभावित इतिहासकारों ने या तो हमें आधा अधूरा सच बताया या तोड़ मरोड़ कर। ऐसा ही कुछ सती प्रथा के संबंध में भी हुआ है। यह प्रचारित किया गया कि सती प्रथा हिंदू धर्म में प्रचलित एक कुरीति है और इसे राजा राम मोहन राय के प्रयासों से 1829 में विलियम बेंटिक ने रोक लगाया। क्या यह पूरा सच है? नहीं! आईए जानने का प्रयास करते हैं कि पूरा सच क्या है:

पूरा सच जानने के लिए हमें धर्मग्रंथों का अध्ययन सूक्ष्म विश्लेषण करना आवश्यक है और साथ ही साथ रामायण और महाभारत के कुछ पात्रों का उल्लेख करना नितांत आवश्यक है। रामायण के प्रमुख पात्रों में हैं दो सहोदर भाई बाली और सुग्रीव। बाली की पत्नी थीं तारा। बाली वध के पश्चात तारा का क्या हुआ? यह जानना बहुत ही आवश्यक है। बाली की मृत्यु के पश्चात तारा का विवाह हुआ सुग्रीव के साथ। अन्य दो प्रमुख पात्र हैं रावण और विभीषण। रावण की मृत्यु के पश्चात मंदोदरी का क्या हुआ? मंदोदरी का भी विवाह हुआ विभीषण के साथ। प्रभु श्रीराम के पिता दशरथ की मृत्यु के पश्चात क्या उनकी रानियों ने आत्मदाह किया या सती हुईं? नहीं! इसी प्रकार महाभारत के महत्वपूर्ण पात्र कुंती की चर्चा करना भी आवश्यक है। पांडवों की माता कुंती ने पांडू की मृत्यु के पश्चात क्या किया? क्या माता कुंती सती हुईं? नहीं! अभिमन्यु की पत्नी उत्तरा ने अभिमन्यु के देहावसान के बाद क्या किया? क्या वो सती हुईं? नहीं! उत्तरा के गर्भ में उस समय एक शिशु पल रहा था जब अभिमन्यु की मृत्यु हुई और यह बालक ही आगे चलकर परीक्षित के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुआ।

इन उदाहरणों से स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि रामायण और महाभारत काल में विधवा विवाह प्रचलित था और यह महिला की स्वेच्छा पर निर्भर था। महिलाओं की इच्छा का इस काल में अच्छा खासा महत्व था। विवाह संबंध उनकी इच्छा से ही होता था जिसे हम स्वयंवर के नाम से जानते हैं। मनुस्मृति अध्याय 3 श्लोक नं. 56 में लिखा है, “यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता:।”

विधवा विवाह और सती प्रथा दो विपरीत प्रथाएँ हैं जिनका सह-अस्तित्व कभी भी संभव नहीं। अर्थात अगर विधवा विवाह प्रचलित है तो सती प्रथा का कोई औचित्य ही नहीं है। निस्संदेह सती प्रथा मूल हिंदू धर्म का कोई अंग नहीं था। फिर यह कुरीति समाज में कैसे शुरू हुई? इस प्रश्न का उत्तर ढूँढ़ना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।

परंतु हमारा इतिहास हमें इस बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं देता। बल्कि यह इस कुरीति को, जो कि मूल हिंदू धर्म का कोई अंग ही नहीं, हिंदू धर्म का एक अंग बताता है। क्यों? क्या हमें यह प्रश्न नहीं उठाना चाहिए?

इस प्रश्न का उत्तर जानने का प्रयास करने से पहले हमें अरब सभ्यता के बारे में भी जानना आवश्यक है। अरबी सभ्यता मुख्यतः कबीलाई सभ्यता थी। चूँकि खाना-पानी की कमी रेगिस्तान में प्राकृतिक समस्या है, अतः इसके लिए वहाँ कबीलों के मध्य संघर्ष होते रहना एक आम बात थी। दो कबीलों के मध्य संघर्ष के पश्चात जब एक कबीला हार जाता था तो उस कबीले की महिलाओं पर कब्जा कर लिया जाता था और उनके साथ मनमाना आचरण किया जाता था और उन्हें ‘हरम’ में रखा जाता था।

सातवीं शताब्दी के पश्चात मुस्लिम आक्रांताओं ने ईस्लाम के प्रचार और लूटपाट के उद्देश्य से अन्य देशों पर आक्रमण करना शुरू किया। ऐसे ही उद्देश्यों के साथ वे भारत भी आए। भयानक मार काट व लूट-पाट के साथ-साथ उन्होंने महिलाओं के साथ भी बर्बरतापूर्ण आचरण करना शुरू किया। उनके इस अन्यायपूर्ण और जघन्य कृत्यों से बचने के लिए महिलाएँ आत्मदाह करने लगीं। जिसे की जौहर के नाम से जाना जाता है। कालांतर में यही प्रथा बिगड़ कर सती प्रथा में बदली होगी। इस संदर्भ में गहन शोध करने की आवश्यकता है।

इस दिशा में सोचने की आवश्यकता इस कारण से भी है कि गुप्त साम्राज्य तक कहीं पर भी सती प्रथा का कोई उल्लेख नहीं है। विभिन्न विदेशी यात्रियों जैसे मेगास्थनीज, ह्वेन सांग और फाह्यान ने अपने यात्रा वृत्तान्त में कहीं पर भी सती प्रथा का कोई उल्लेख नहीं किया है। अपनी तत्कालीन समाज का वर्णन करते हुए उन्होंने समाज को खुशहाल समाज लिखा और स्त्रियों की दशा अच्छी बताई। इससे भी स्पष्ट होता है कि सती प्रथा जैसी कोई कुरीति समाज में प्रचलित नहीं थी अन्यथा समाज को खुशहाल समाज की संज्ञा नहीं दिया जाता।

अब अगला प्रश्न उठता है कि, चाहे किसी भी कारण से यह प्रथा प्रारंभ हुई हो, इसे किसने समाप्त किया? हमें आज तक इस विषय पर दो ही महापुरुषों का उल्लेख मिलता है – राजा राममोहन राय और ईश्वर चंद बंदोपाध्याय (विद्यासागर)। इन दोनों में भी राजा राममोहन राय को इतिहास ने ज्यादा तरजीह दी। परंतु यह अधूरा सच है। निस्संदेह राजा राममोहन राय ने सती प्रथा अंत करने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया परंतु केवल उन्होंने योगदान दिया यह संपूर्ण सत्य नहीं। स्वामीनारायण ने इसके लिए विशेष प्रयास किया परंतु कभी भी उनका जिक्र सती प्रथा के विरुद्ध आंदोलनकर्ताओं की सूची में शामिल नहीं किया गया। सन 1800 में ही मराठा पेशवाओं ने सती प्रथा को अपने साम्राज्य में वर्जित कर दिया था परंतु पेशवाओं को इतिहास ने सदा से ही क्रूर और ऐय्याश की तरह पेश किया। इन सभी के बारे में अरविंद शर्मा और केथेरिन यंग ने विस्तार से अपनी किताब ‘Sati: A Historical and Phenomenological Essays” (1988) में लिखा है।

इन सबके अलावा एक और महत्वपूर्ण, अतिमहत्वपूर्ण, व्यक्ति का उल्लेख किया गया है इस किताब में – मृत्युंजय विद्यालंकार। बंगाली ब्राह्मण परिवार में जन्मे मृत्युंजय इस कारण से अतिमहत्वपूर्ण हैं कि उनके ही सटीक विश्लेषण और वक्तव्यों के आधार पर कलकत्ता कोर्ट ने सन् 1829 में अपने ऐतिहासिक फैसले में सती प्रथा पर हमेशा के लिए पाबंदी लगाई। क्या था विद्यालंकार का विश्लेषण और वक्तव्य? हिंदू धर्मग्रंथों का विश्लेषण कर और अपने अकाट्य तर्कों के माध्यम से मृत्युंजय विद्यालंकार ने साबित किया कि सती प्रथा मूल हिंदू धर्म का हिस्सा नहीं है। जिस विद्यालंकार को सबसे महत्वपूर्ण स्थान मिलना चाहिए था उनके नाम से लगभग 95% भारतीय जनता अनभिज्ञ होगी। मुझे तो ऐसा लगता है कि 99% कहना भी अतिशयोक्ति नहीं होगा। विद्यालंकार के विश्लेषण में यह साबित किया गया कि सती प्रथा मूल हिंदू धर्म का हिस्सा नहीं है। फिर क्यों हमें बारंबार यही पढ़ाया गया कि यह प्रथा हिंदू धर्म की कुरीति है।

समाज में किसी तात्कालिक समस्या के समाधान हेतु प्रचलित किसी परंपरा को धर्म से जोड़ कर धर्म को कलंकित करने का कुचक्र किसने किया और क्यों किया? विद्यालंकार को क्यों तरजीह नहीं दी गई और केवल राजा राममोहन राय को ही महत्व दिया गया। कहीं इसके पीछे राजा राममोहन राय का ईसाई होना तो एक कारण नहीं है?! चौंक गए!! बिलकुल मत चौंकिए। आपने सही पढ़ा। राजा राममोहन राय ने ईसाई धर्म अपना लिया था जिसकी वजह से उनकी माताजी ने उनकी काफी भर्त्सना की थी। यहाँ यह तथ्य उजागर करने का उद्देश्य राम मोहन के प्रयासों को कमतर करने का नहीं है। निस्संदेह उनका प्रयास सराहनीय था और भारतीय समाज हमेशा कृतज्ञ रहेगा। परंतु इस तथ्य को उजागर कर मैंने यह बताने का प्रयास किया है कि इतिहास लिखने वाला इतिहासकार कलुषित मानसिकता से ग्रस्त एक कपटी व्यक्ति था जिसने केवल राजा राममोहन राय को ही तरजीह दी और अन्य महापुरुषों के नाम तक छुपा दिए। मृत्युंजय विद्यालंकार को जो महत्व मिलना चाहिए था वह मिला नहीं।

इसके पीछे एक ही कारण हो सकता है कि समाज को उसके ऐतिहासिक गौरव और संस्कृति से दूर कर दो। इतिहास और संस्कृति से विस्मृत हुआ समाज अधिक समय तक अपना अस्तित्व नहीं बचा सकता।निस्संदेह यह एक गहरी साजिश के तहत किया गया है संभवतः मैकाले के योजना के तहत। मैकाले ने 1835 में ब्रिटेन की महारानी को अपने पत्र में लिखा था कि इस देश को तब तक ध्वस्त नहीं किया जा सकता जब तक कि इसके शिक्षा पद्धति पर, संस्कृति पर आघात न किया जाए।
