First India’s attempt at illegal annexation of IOJK & now its attempts to alter IOJK’s demographic structure incl by issuance of domicile certificates to 25,000 Indian nationals are all illegal, in violation of UNSC resolutions & international law, incl 4th Geneva Convention.— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) June 30, 2020
(This is a factual Political opinion on biased secularism. It is not intended to hurt any community or religious sentiments)
Basically what’s secularism? In simple terms, secularism is seperation of law from religion, so no consideration or discrimination on religious basis. The terms ‘Secularism’ and ‘Socialism’ were imposed by then former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 42nd amendment to the constitution during 1975 Emergency.
But is it appropriate for a state to institute this considering the fact that the belief systems are themselves not secular in nature? For example Islam, it rejects other faiths over Islam, highly evident in history. Tags the disbelievers/idolaters/ polytheists/ atheists as kafir. To discriminate and tag someone on religious basis is the most racial slur, and apparently not secular isn’t it?
Here are some verse from the holy Quran about the kafirs:
Verse 3:28 Believers should not take kafirs as friends in preference to other believers. Those who do this will have none of Allah’s protection and will only have themselves as guard. Allah warns you to fear him for all will return to him.
Verse 4:56 Indeed, those who disbelief in our verses we will drive them into fire. Everytime their skins are roasted through we will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever exalted in might and wise.
Verse 8:12 Then your lord spoke to the angels and said, ‘ I will be with you. Give strength to the believers. I will send terror to the kafirs’ hearts, cutoff their heads and even the tips of their fingers!’
Verse 33:60 They (kafirs’) will be cursed, and wherever they are found they will be seized and murdered. It was Allah’s same practice with those who came before them, and you will find no change in Allah’s ways.
The holy Quran contributes about more than 60% of the book on kafirs which is almost 350 verses. During the Anti-CAA protests protesters collectively hollered the slogan ‘Kafiron se Azaadi’ I wonder what the bill had to do with kafir!
When the Kashmiri Pandits were swept out of the valley a warning was issued in the speakers for the ‘kafirs’.
History proves how the Mughal’s hatred for kafirs led them to inflict slaughter and vanquish them. It is estimated that officially almost 290 million were the victims of Jihad out of which 80m were Hindus, 60m Christians, 120m African slaves and 10m Buddhists.
Here are some pictures of how the Mughals ruined the ancient Indian structures:

How the implementation of of secularism works… perhaps ‘pseudo’ secularism
1. Education: It’s evident that our education system conveniently fudged chapters in a calibrated way in order to construct a narrative that most of us grow in a conditioned notoriously ‘left liberal’ way. Often loathing our own culture and obsessing the westerners. Let that be maths or science- the ancient Indian way of learning was a never a part of schooling. The schools don’t enlighten the students about the Vedic maths, basic Ayurveda or other inventions/discoveries by the Hindus. History kept persisting that India flourished during the Mughal rule. Emphasised on the Mughal architecture. Concealing the demonic truth like destruction and plundering of our temples, collection of jizayh and exploitation; instead glorified their reign. History books displayed the social evils then existing in the Indian society such as sati, child marriage, casteism, female infanticide though it wasn’t a part of the holy scriptures but were social constructs. Often Students identify the all of Sanatan culture with these social evils which leads to deflection from the pious nature of dharma.
Since we follow the principle of secularism the books should have equally emphasized on the ‘social’ evils inclusive of all the religion in the society.
For example, Muslims women can marry once the females hit puberty which means their age of marriage can be anywhere between 8-15. So was child marriage not prelevant here? Our history books refused to include the agony the Muslim women endured like triple talaq which was later fortunately abrogated in 2019 by the Modi government.
Minority status: Muslims are the fastest growing religion in the world and Indian Muslims contribute to 2nd largest Muslims after the other Islamic nations. In India Muslims constitute to 182 million population out of 1.3 billion population of India. The word minority has no precise definition in the constitution. But in National Commision for Religious and linguistic minorities defines minority as ‘a group comprising less than half of the population’. Can the 182 million exponential community in India be given the status of minority? In Kerela Muslims (26% Muslim population) are given 10% reservation in education and 12% in employment. In Karnataka (12.9% Muslims population) enjoy 4% of reservation in education and employment sectors. Andhra Pradesh government provides 5% employment reservations for the Muslim community. In places like Lakshadweep Hindus are 2.77%, Muslims are majority in states like Kashmir, Assam, and Christians are majority in the states like Nagaland. Despite being sparse in number the Hindus in these regions are not considered as minority where as states few states provides the minorities reservation.Another apparent bias of secularism?
Temple tax: Taxes are collected from the Hindu temples but not from churches or mosques. The Imam are paid an amount as salary but not the monks in the temples (non-government).
Haj subsidy: The pilgrims to haj used to enjoy the subsidy, travel and other facilities were discounted by the govt. This was ceased in 2018 by the Modi govt.
Halal: The word halal in Arabic translates to ‘allowed or permissible under Islamic laws’ for Muslims. In today’s date most of current business firms require halal certification irrespective of religion. The meat supply chain is controlled by halal certification. In the meat slaughtering business the butcher should be a muslim and should follow Islamic procedures to slaughter the animal. Even in a secular country meat consumers have no choice but have to consume the meat butchered through islamic procedure. Maybe this is the mountain of secularism! Many firms purchase only the halal certified meat which has massively affected the jhatka meat sellers and other small scale meat sellers they’re forced to change the course of the occupation.
Basically the Muslim authorities have complete control over the halal monopoly in a secular nation. Not only meat there are Halal certifications on other cosmetics and similar products. Certifications for ayurvedic medicines and hospitals; Dhathri Ayurvedic hospital was the first to get halal certified. Even brands like Patanjali are forced to acquire halal certification. How can one firm gain the authority to control the monopoly in an economy with religious motives alone? How can this be imposed in a secular nation?
Can a community of 182m qualify for minority grounds? Can the fastest-growing religion, the second most populated religion be given the status of minority? Can a firm grab control over economy solely based on religion? Is this secularism or Pseudo-Secularism?
Artisans constitute an important segment in Indian society. They represent the single largest element of continuity of the Lokavidya or the living traditions of sciences and technologies. The continuity has been attributed to the survival of subsistence, households of simple commodity producers, surviving by dint of superhuman exploitation of family labour and undergoing continuous immiseration.’ The artisan as a practitioner of Lokavidya, therefore, became a tragic hero fighting his lone battle against the machines. The artisan constitute an organic element of Indian society and played an extremely important role in its transition. Even in these days of globalization and open market, their relevance in south Asian economy could hardly be denied.
There are approximately 7 million artisans in India engaged in the production of crafts for their livelihood. The global crafts market present a golden opportunity for Indian craftsmen. The numbers of handicraft buyers are increasing day by day. The commission or profit of middlemen have also increased. Due to middlemen, the artisans never get complete money of their marvels. The middlemen buy the products from the artisans at the lowest price and sell it to the buyers at an exorbitant price. Thus the artisans becoming poor day by day.
Uthhan comes like a solution for the betterment of artisans. They launched a website and a phone app in different languages as per artisan convenience. This is important for artisans so that more and more customers can be reached in lesser time and can deliver the right handicraft products. Through this website of Uthhan, you can easily avail artifacts created by artisans within your budget. In this website, the artisans are registered and given an ID so that they can be identified. Volunteers of Uthhan give training also. Volunteers guide them to operate and upload the products in the website. After this, the artisans give detailed information about themselves and the artifacts will be uploaded to the platform along with photos. After this, the products are displayed on the website, subject to the approval from Uthhan team.
Chat services are available for both Artisans & volunteers, so that there should not be any communication barrier. Apart from this, there is a 24×7 helpline number. Uthhan remains the means of employment for the families of more than 10,000 artisans.
We live in a diverse world. Be it cultural, religious, ethnic, anthropological, and of course natural. We have a rich and diverse natural heritage coupled with extreme topographical variations.
With the ever-increasing population and of course the awesome material advancements, we have progressed a lot in the last few decades. The situation is however literally rosy. Which means that there are quite a few prickly thorns.
The thorns are the effects of our endeavours. Endeavours to make life comfortable. We need roads, bridges, dams, factories, and all other amenities. These Endeavours come at a cost. Not just on commercial terms but also on the nature and natural resources. After all, even plucking a single blade of grass kills millions of microorganisms who had made that blade their home.
Let’s understand the consequence from this example.
These microorganisms were the first step of the food chain. So effectively, we are removing the bottom layer of a house of cards. The result is anybody’s guess!! With a single grass blade goes a myriad of organisms across various trophic levels.
Now one might argue this is natural. Eating and being eaten. Survival of the fittest. Isn’t that how nature is supposed to work?
Let’s take a moment & think about the famous ‘Jungle Book’. Kipling’s epic captured many imaginations and enthralled old and young alike. It indeed was an excellent book & the excellence was multi-dimensional. The most common reactions among the readers were as follows:
Everyone rejoiced when ‘Leela’ adopted our Mowgli. No one however thought of it as a brilliant example of co-existence, which is what nature has made us for.
Everyone hated ‘Sher Khan’, but no one empathised that the poor tiger had no choice but to kill other animals to live. After all he did not, like us humans, have the luxury of going to supermarkets and get canned meat that god knows which poor animal had to donate for our humane cause.
Everyone also celebrated when Mowgli killed Sher Khan. But why did the poor animal have to die? The answer is quite simple. That old issue of fighting over limited resources. An eternal truth which makes conservation a losing battle.
Human beings are among the weakest animals in terms of physical strength. But by virtue of superior mind power we rule the planet. The Sher Khans stand no chance in front of that phenomenon called intelligence.
Let us now go a step further and understand the source of this conflict. What we call as the man-animal conflict.
We often hear about animals coming out of the forests and damaging crops, livestock and also endangering human lives. The result is almost always the same and that is either capture and translocation of the animal/s or in dire situations, killing of the “rogue(!!)” animal/s.
So why do the animals do this? After all, by now, they should have better sense than to walk straight towards their doom!!
The answer requires a bit of introspection.
Where were we born? I mean our human race. Where did we start our journey?
The clear answer is that we had our first refuge in lush meadows and dense. In fact, the entire World was a Forest then. It is understandable that reading this in these times, sitting inside a plush flat overlooking a busy street in a metropolis, we might actually shudder at the thought of how life was when it was shared with leeches, mosquitoes & God knows what other creatures of the wild. But we actually had lived like that at that time during the dawn of humanity.
So, if every place were forested then how come we have cities today? Where did they come from? We can be very proud that we built the cities. We literally transformed the World over thousands of years and built the glorious citadels which bear evidence of our progress and advancements. We have made life simple, easy and mechanized. With a press of a button we can even order our breakfast now! A far cry from the days when we had to hunt for food and fight with angry predators over raw meat.
The cities we made killed a lot of forests though. The animals had no choice. They had to adjust. They still have to adjust as we have not stopped growing.
There seems to be an inversely proportional relationship between our population growth and forest cover. We have to feed and house trillions. Where will the land come from? Where will we plant our crops to feed ourselves? So, more and more forest lands have fallen prey over the years for our expanding needs. The animals have lesser and lesser space for themselves now. The wilderness has shrunk manifolds and across the World, in the last century alone, approximately 500 animal species have gone extinct due to over-exploitation of natural habitats, over-hunting and other human activities. Natural selection process has continuously chosen us as the fittest and we have survived at the cost of these unfortunate “lesser (!!)” beings.
This problem of gradual extinction is of a pandemic scale. Whenever we go out on an exciting safari, we should remember that many of the wildlife we are seeing are probably the last living specimens of that species.
Let’s talk about the Lions at Gir (Gujarat). So many of them there for a tourist’s delight! The King of the jungle strolling right in front of us all day long! The point we miss is that the poor king has been booted out of all his kingdoms and what we see is nothing but a final refuge to rest his tired mane before he breaths his last. A single disease tomorrow and the entire population will most probably get wiped out.
What about the cheetahs? The wonderful Nat Geo documentaries on dashing cheetahs in African wilderness have captured our imaginations since long. While we gape with awe at their magnificent gait, we must remember, even India had its field day with the cheetahs. We managed to shoot the last of them some time in 1952. All in the name of a good sport. In fact, Asiatic Cheetah has the rare distinction of being the only animal to be hunted to extinction in India. There were no other causes behind them going missing from our forests. Currently around 50 of them are preserved in Iran whereas their cousins continue to live in Africa.
Thus, the truth about extinctions and conflicts lie within us only. The concept of “right to live” is not something which is commonly accepted when it comes to Non-Human Animal Lives when we deal with Man – Animal conflict. We, humans, obviously did not create this wonderful plasma of life. But we seem to have claimed the right to decide who lives and who sinks into the eternal sea of oblivion?
The dodos lived for ages till we saw them, the wondrous cheetah ran like the wind forever till it could not out run our bullets.
Vultures, snakes, songbirds, eagles, frogs, lemurs, langurs, tigers all have become our prey. We don’t need to hunt and eat all of them. We just kill them for our whims, comforts, materialistic mindset and shortsightedness.
Mother Nature, being the great balancing force, has blessed us with all the intelligence of being the dominant apex species, but also cursed us with a severe impairment, which is our short-term memory and myopia towards the long-term future. This curse has resulted in the major crises that we now face in the form of climate change and global warming. 40% of the World Population lives very close to the coasts. In fact, all bustling cities and examples of our industrialisations are largely situated around the seas. By end of this century, at the current rate of global warming and rise in sea levels, land which is home to around 200 million people, will probably be permanently under the high tide line. In fact, some reports point to a grave possibility of Indian cities like Kolkata, Mumbai and Surat to be under water or severely ravaged by frequent floods by 2050.
Another major concern is that though 75% of our Earth is covered by water bodies, actual availability for human consumption is almost miniscule and this too is getting reduced year after year. As per estimates. 98% of the water available is Sea water and hence not fit for consumption. Of the remaining 2%, 87% is stored as ice and glaciers, 12% as ground water and 2% in lakes, ponds etc. Global warming is slowly melting these ice reservoirs while extraction while faulty land practices have taken a toll on the ground water levels & other sources. Cape Town recently was in the unenviable situation of being the first major city in the modern era to face the threat of running out of drinking water. Several Indian cities are also in the running for this dangerous fate.
Given this scenario, an obvious question that comes up is how long can we sustain ourselves?
Life of course is beautiful. And we need to live. For this we need to help each other preserve the web of life that we have. If we continue to cut the strings one by one then this web ultimately has to collapse. There are no solitary survivors in this game.
Of course, we can’t replace the dodo, the Caspian tiger, the Tasmanian devil, the Pallas’s cormorant, or the Stellar’s sea cow. But we can make sure that others don’t follow suit. We can make sure that the lions keep roaring, the cheetahs keep running, the eagles keep and above all, the forests keep glistening.
Conservation and preservation are that oxygen, which we need to keep inhaling if we want to make sure that we don’t strangle ourselves in the bid to be pharaohs in our dying world!! We can’t regenerate the loss, but we can arrest the decline and continue living for maybe another millennium.
After that we can only hope for survival. We can only hope that beyond this horizon, our future generations still continue to look at the rising sun and enjoy the calmness of the full moon.
Up until the last few days, the only link that showed up in “Frequently Visited” was a link to my gradebook. Now there’s a second link – something I’ve searched up so much, that I no longer have to type it upon opening Safari because their algorithm has set up a convenient clickable icon on my Safari home page. Starting from June 14th, I’ve made the same search at least once each hour – I’ve typed “Sushant Singh Rajput” into my search bar hoping to find a new article or to discover something about the inner enigma of his brilliant mind. I’ve read about the interrogations, reflected on Bollywood’s nepotism, and have continued to grapple with the idea that the world lost an astronomy loving shining star. Scanning through his 50 goals, trying to comprehend his Instagram posts, and digesting the injustices he faced, I continued to struggle to put together the Fault in his stars.
“Fault in our Stars” – we know it as John Green’s famous novel upon which Dil Bechara is based. What many don’t know is the title comes from a line in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Cassius states to Brutus, “The fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars / But in ourselves, for we are underlings” suggesting that no one and no force but ourselves are to blame for the evil nature of the world. Only recently we’ve started acknowledging the cruelty in the show business. We’ve only recently started wondering what demons could infiltrate one’s mind. We’ve only recently started pondering upon what could pave the way for these demons to enter the minds of some struggling individuals. In attempts of piecing together what may have happened and what Sushant was going through, I too came up with theories of my own – and no not the type of theories Sushant loved, so I won’t discuss them here. He left us with many lingering questions that have sparked those theories, but at the same time, he’s left us with something greater. His ambitions, successes, and even failures have left us all with something, whether it be an universal lesson applicable to all walks of life, or the inspiration to chase a dream. Inspired by his skill (and similar interests in STEM), awed by his brilliance and charisma, and disheartened by his demise, I felt compelled to express what invaluable lessons he has left with the world.
“Whatever I am today and whatever I am going to do, is the collective result of my achievements and mistakes. I love them equally!” – SSR
He showed us the importance of being accountable for our choices – believing in each decision we make, and accepting the consequences.
“The more I learn about things, I realize how wrong I was before” – SSR
He not only showed us the magic of learning – he showed us the value of learning from our successes and failures – He was always willing to take ownership of his faults and open to sharing his knowledge and gaining knowledge from others.
“I have been overshadowed for the first 25 years of my life when I was nobody to the world. But I was a superstar in my head!” – SSR
With his charismatic demeanor and modest soul, he showed us the importance of believing in ourselves, having a sense of self-confidence and being our own superstar.
Lastly, he showed us a true example of…
A versatile actor. An inquisitive student. A loving brother. A supportive friend. And most importantly, A humble, down to earth human being. Sushant, you will be loved. You will be missed. You’ll remain in our hearts forever – Tum hamesha, hamesha paas rakhne ki cheez ho…Yes, both the “hameshas” are necessary.
We all have been listening to Jugni-poetry or Jugni-music since our childhood. But who is this Jugni? A woman, an instrument or an ornament. In reality, we do not find any significant meaning or mention of Jugni in Punjab history or folk memories.
Basically, it is a mispronounced word by two illiterate singers of Punjab named Bishna Jatt and Manda Marassi. Both were from Majha region near Amritsar of earlier Punjab. They used to sing folk songs such as Mirza and Tappe with their classical instruments in local streets to earn their living.
Back in 1906, when they were in their 50s, British government took a flame in a big gold container across several countries and cities under the British rule to mark the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s reign. According to oral histories, it was ‘Jublie’ which illiterate Bishna and Manda pronounced as ‘Jugni’. The flame was taken to every district headquarter of states and district authorities were supposed to observe big ceremonies in the welcome of the torch. Bishna and Manda followed the flame and composed their own stanzas in the name of Jugni and started organising Akharas (shows) in these festivals. That is why, we usually find a city name in the beginning of the Jugni verses.
Jugni ja varhi Majithe koi rann na chakki peethe putt gabbru mulak vich maare rovan akhiyan par bull si seete piir mereya oye jugni ayi aa ehne kehrhi jot jagayee aa jugni ja varhi ludhiane uhnu pe gye anne kaane maarn mukkiyan mangan daane piir mereya oye! jugni kehndi aa jehrhi naam ali da lendi aa
Due to easy versification of Jugni verses these stanzas became popular in no time. In those days, although movement for freedom did not rise however there was deep anger in the mind of the masses against British rulers. People were poor and illiterate and were highly exploited by British government. Bishna and Manda started writing verses about this agony which channelized the rebel of the people against queen’s rule.
Growing popularity of this Jugni composition was unresting the British rulers. Consequently, they started banning their shows in the festivals but this could not stop them from performing stage shows. As a result, both the singers got arrested at Gujjaranwala and said to be tortured to death for inciting public against British rule.
Unfortunately, we do not find much about family background or siblings of two martyrs. It is believed that neither of them got married .But they have given a magical rebellious character of Jugni to the musical world which is the soul of folk songs. They are yet to be thanked as modern world do not really know the creation of Jugni and its creators.
China’s acquisition of India’s economy is mainly through 3 channels.
The consumer market in India.
Share and investment of Chinese enterprises in Indian industries.
Chinese companies in government projects.
1. The consumer market in India
China has established itself as a manufacturing hub and continues to expand its dominance in the world market. Today, China is the world’s number one exporting country, lagging far behind its rival countries by exporting goods worth more than 2,499 billion U.S. dollars a year to the world market [Ref#1]. India has also become a major market for China. As of 2019, India is the eighth-largest export market for China, accounting for about $77 billion dollars a year[Ref#2]. At the same time, goods worth only $19 billion dollars are exported from India to the Chinese market[Ref#2]; and India ranks 28th on the list of China’s imports. In addition, every year India is releasing one ladder after another on China’s export list.
India, the world’s second-largest-populated country, has no doubt that it will become the largest market for China in a few years. In almost all areas of India, from small to large, from toys to electronics appliances, from home decor to Diwali crackers, etc., the one-sided dominance of Chinese products is on the rise. It is rare to find that the materials used in India are not “made in china”. Despite the fact that the quality of Chinese goods is well known to even young children, Indians have always had a desire to buy it at a low price.
At a time when India is rapidly establishing itself as a large consumer of digital goods, China is well aware of this and is making a fuss through its products in the Indian electronic market. Mobiles, computers, speakers, earphones, fridge, AC, online shopping websites, mobile and computer apps, daily usage stuff, and etc. are becoming popular as cheap and user-friendly tools or utilities. Not only does China benefit financially from the export of its products, but it also illegally collects Indians’ data through digital devices such as mobile, computer, websites, and apps, and misuses it at the government and private levels. This allows China to control the individual, political, and social behavior or attitudes of Indians as well as infiltrate national secrets and spy on the government.
Resist China in the Consumer market
Chinese products are already so influential among Indians that the abandonment of them has the potential to have a huge impact on the behavior of the common people of India, both financially and daily life. Because of this fear, the general public is reluctant to abandon Chinese products. Adopting to Chinese products seems like the story of a drunken man. A man who is intoxicated day and night has the terrible consequences of abandoning it all of a sudden. Similarly, Indians are addicted to Chinese products; and leaving them at risk of financial and daily problems. Due to its cheapness, user-friendliness, and insufficient alternatives for Chinese products for everyday life, It is very difficult to give up them all. It is unfortunate that none of India’s own products are available as alternatives to Chinese products.
For all these reasons, according to many experts and intellectuals, it is very impossible to boycott Chinese products. As the mediums by which Chinese goods are supposed to be boycotted are also Chinese products. That is why a ridiculous mood and a negative feeling are created in the minds of the people towards the expulsion of Chinese products. The question is, is it really possible to boycott Chinese goods? Yes, it is possible. If a drug addict can be cured by medical treatment if he or she is addicted, then there are many appropriate means and processes to break the addiction of Chinese goods addicted Indians. Yes, it is a little difficult and time consuming, but there are many ways to prevent it.
A. ‘No’ to new Chinese goods – If we first want to uproot a large tree from its root, we will definitely fail. So, first and foremost, Indians have to admit that there is no problem in using the most useful tools or services used by the people participating in the ongoing campaign to boycott Chinese products such as – mobile, computer, TV, websites, apps, yearly Subscription of various services. Think of these devices as the roots of a huge tree, bought in exchange for a lot of money. This is because the abandonment of such devices puts a huge financial burden on the family. Therefore, it is important to note that small and large devices that are planned to be purchased in the future are not “made in china”. Yes, it is possible to invest a lot of money in selecting alternatives, or it is not possible to find items with that facility within your budget.
But, forgetting them, you should buy them by choosing the right items within your budget. This is a short-term plan that should be implemented immediately, with a short-term goal, such as a week, or a month. Short-term planning is the first step in resisting Chinese products. These short-term schemes include daily equipment and services, equipment used in festivals, home appliances, equipment and services used to maintain modern lifestyles, websites and apps used for online shopping and entertainment, and Monthly Subscription of various services. If there is no Indian option for goods and services, then products from other countries, such as South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, or America, can be purchased.
B. ‘No’ to Chinese products for the renewal or repair of old materials –When replacing or repairing previously purchased equipment in a hefty amount of money, it should always be kept in mind that the materials needed for the renovation or repair of the equipment are not “made in china”. The products of other countries, such as South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, or America, can be selected as the second choice, with the first choice being made to buy goods made by various Indian companies. This is a long-term plan. Long-term plans include mobiles, computers, fridge, machines, TV, AC, and Yearly Subscription of various services. It may take more than a year, but the Chinese product must be uprooted like uprooting a giant tree. Long-term planning is the second step in resisting Chinese products. Yes, it is possible to invest a lot of money in selecting alternatives, or it is not possible to find items with that facility within your budget. But, forgetting them, you should buy them by choosing the right items within your budget.
C. Support and Contribution to “Make in India” – In addition to boycotting Chinese products, it should also be promoted at the personal level to increase production in India. If the Indians expect that without their cooperation they will get everything from elsewhere, then they will not be able to completely boycott Chinese products. In their own strength, Indians should start small and large productions. Software engineers should be able to develop online services & products that can be used in business, entertainment, and daily activities to the best of their ability. hardware engineers and scientists should develop a variety of useful materials such as mobiles, computers, fridge, AC, machines, speakers, and earphones or their components at least. Indian artisans should make various small and large household items, such as crackers, colors, cups, plates, decorative items, bottles, and so on. In addition, Indian small, medium, and large-scale industrial enterprises should also focus on building domestic appliances and services to increase productivity as fast as possible. This process should be achieved in a few years, including long-term planning. To accelerate the process, the central and state governments need to work together to help businesses and individuals.
2. Share and investment of Chinese enterprises in Indian industries
The work done by India’s skilled entrepreneurs in the last few years is commendable. Among them, Paytm, Flipkart, Oyo, Ola, PhonePay, Byju, Urban Clap, Zomato, Swiggy, and mobile or hardware manufacturing companies like YU Televentures, JIO, videocon, Lava, Carbon, Micromax, Intex, IBall, and LYF are prominent. Unfortunately, in these companies, Chinese companies have either bought large shares or done investments in them and run them indirectly. That is why there is a negative feeling among Indians. In the run-up to boycotting Chinese products, the sentiments of Indians who want to buy services or equipment from Indian companies have also been weakened. However, we should also take this as the root of that giant tree of our example, which should be gradually and systematically abandoned. This is because Indians still have the majority share in those companies, and those companies are managed by Indians only. So, the Indians have to adopt the proverb -“Something is better than nothing”. At the same time, Chinese companies and shareholders need to be put out of the loop by putting pressure on such companies through social media and various campaigns. These entrepreneurs should also refrain from doing such things. They should prioritize Indianness and change their business plans accordingly. There are no big hurdles to do so. However, entrepreneurs and the public should come forward to take this as a long-term plan.
3. Chinese companies in government projects
There are many government projects in India that Chinese companies are working on with the approval of the government which is also unfortunate. However, it should be noted that the Government of India and its various ministries and agencies have already removed Chinese companies from many projects. E.g., Indian Railway, Road Transport Project, and Mines Project. In addition, the Indian government has imposed various restrictions and customs duties on goods imported from China. Indians need to understand that it is not so easy to impose cuts at the government level. This is because of the fact that there is always political pressure on the country at the international level, which is what the government does only by deliberating at the highest level. However, the Government of India and the state governments of some states such as Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana are commendable in this regard. The government should take even tougher steps in this regard.
It is important to note that if all these steps are taken in parallel, it will not take long for the campaign to succeed. Before all this, Indians must first say to themselves – “I will boycott Chinese products.”
Covid 19 has changed the course of human history. The virus might have been a biological weapon developed in China’s biological warfare lab in Wuhan, under its covert biological weapons programme, got incidentally or accidentally slipped out from there and started its journey against human life from there. Or the virus might have originated from wild animals sold at a seafood market in Wuhan, known for their unhygienic environment. The scientific world may have to cover substantial distance before arriving at one specific origin after ruling out the other. However the global consensus, on the basis after tracing the track of the virus, is that the dangerous course of the weapon of destruction began its journey undoubtedly from China. Hence many of us may be tempted to brand the virus as China Virus.
But is it appropriate to name the virus so even though it has its origin in that great country with one of the ancient civilizations of humankind? Of course, it was the communist fascist regime of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) that started making the virus to pursue its aggressive imperialist expansionist agenda to encompass the world. Hence, it would be reasonable, acceptable and appreciable if Covid 19 could also be referred to as ‘Communist virus’. Further, the aggressive course the virus has taken to reach far and near with ‘successful’ rounds in Iran and Italy, the latest entrants into the net of One belt One Road initiative of PRC would suggest one to describe the deadly biological weapon that challenges the very existence of the human race as ‘Communist Virus.
Designed & developed, grabbed, purchased or picked from the ground, once a weapon reaches in the hands of an aggressor it goes without saying that he will sharpen it to add its striking power on the one hand and take care to develop systems that would safeguard him from the likely impact of the weapon.. By that logic, it is but natural that before coming out to make use of Covid as a weapon to pursue the expansionist designs of Chinese communist regime it might have taken a reasonable period of time to control the domestic fallout and fine tune their strategy to attack the world economy and pre-targeted countries such as India.
Global institutions after analysing the data base developed, have now come to the conclusion that Covid 19 started its journey during September 2019. Yet China left the world kept uninformed for such a long period, making use of their unethical control over the World Health Organisation. Then, the time gained might have been used to plan and execute the Communist-fascist-imperialistic expansionist agenda to spread the dragon around the world. Further, the nature of the virus that does not cause death tolls beyond a tolerable minimum, is in fact, made it a more effective weapon in the hands of handlers of terrorists. Pakistan, the partners of China in its unethical operates nurseries of international terrorism, had already created a poaching ground, by indoctrination, wherein even recruitment of volunteers for suicide attack by paying hefty sum is not much of a difficult task! Obviously the task of recruiting willing carriers of a virus (with limited incidents of causing death) turned out to be much easier.
Out of the countries China wanted to place on the line of fire India comes on top for geopolitical reasons and of course the fact that India under Narendra Modi is on the fast track of economic development posing a very serious challenge to communist PRC’s capitalist agenda to dominate the World. As the events followed suggest, the PRC appears to have opted to open three way attack to target India namely 1) Create unmanageable internal disturbances making use of their clandestine partners within India with intention to attack the establishment when challenges on account of Covid19 destroys the fundamentals of the country. 2) Organise intentional efforts to optimise the spread of the virus in India, putting on the service of Oslamic terrorists and communist extremists who are on the payrolls of China and Pakistan 3) Challenge India militarily if and when the situation turns unavoidable or advantageous to PRC.
Even before the pandemic appeared traceable in India, unprecedented mobilisation of trouble shooters within the country committed to anti national politics based on anti Hindu communalism were evident. Citizenship (Amendment) Act which was in fact had nothing to agitate anybody in the country was twisted to provide the boiling point to spread hatred and communal frenzy within the country. Leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi Seetaram Yetchury, Asaduddin Owaisi, etc. were busy in activating forces of negativity under their commands to keep the country challenged by violence and anti democratic ‘Break India’ group spread across the country putting fire into universities like JNU, Jamia Millia, AMU etc. They went to the extent of suggesting Islamic terrorists to block Chicken neck and isolate Assam from the rest of India. Shaheen Bagh type highly provocative blockades in roads and public places were kept spreading in various cities.
In Delhi, coinciding with the US President’s visit to India, anti-Hindu communal terror was unleashed, leaving a number of dead bodies and destroyed properties in the targeted area. Thus, the combination of Congress, Communist parivar (comprising of CPM, CPI, Maoists, Urban Naxalites, Activist Naxalites, Islamic communalists (Muslim League, Popular Front and a number groups committed to Islamic terrorism) and various political parties aligned to such forces attempted to keep the country boiling to make use of the situation so developed to add fuel to the destructive fire to the onslaught of Covid 19.
Sufficient indications are there to suggest yet another front was opened by the anti-India forces to cause the spread of the virus, intentionally. Tablighi Jamaat religious congregation that was organised disregarding the ban imposed by the Government in Delhi’s Nizamuddin Markaz Mosque in early March 2020 was a coronavirus super-spreader event. 960 foreigners from 40 countries and more than 8000 from various Indian states attended the event. Across the country 4000 corona cases and 27 deaths were reported as linked to the event. Union Health Ministry has linked one third of all confirmed COVID cases to the congregation vide its report on April 18, 2020. Hence, on a conservative estimate it could be made that at least one third of the covid cases confirmed on any particular day could be attributed to that super spread attempt. Clandestine initiatives to cause intentional spread of the virus by vested interests were also widely noticeable in various social media platforms.
Alarming situations in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu raises serious doubts in the matter in the light of the importance of these states to Indian economy. Similarly disappearance of about 300 persons came back to Kerala after attending controversial Tablighi Jamaat religious congregation at Delhi and the controversial silence of the Chief Minister and state administration of Kerala in the matter leaves many questions unanswered. It is all the more important in Kerala’s case because both sides of the political divide in the state, ruling front and the opposition are friendly dispensations sympathetic to break India gangs and Islamic terrorists.
Ultimately the third front to challenge India was attempted by China creating a situation of conflict along the Indo China border. Of course Pakistan was all the while creating provocative attempted encroachment and ceasefire violations along the Line of Control. But the most undesirable act of treason was experienced when political opposition in the country lead by Sonia, Rahul, Yetchury, etc. and their lobby in the media preferred to propagate the disinformation campaign planned and executed by Chinese side. That was, in fact, a clandestine campaign to tarnish and demoralise the forces and political establishment of the country by bringing them down before the general public of the country. But once the China side was made to notice the qualitative difference between India of 1962 and 2020 by organising the country’s defence of the border by deploying men and fire power without leaving anything for chance, the situation eased. India’s increasing positive image among the comity of nations, and simultaneously developing suspicions on the intentions among the global community forced China to volunteer a negotiated settlement of issues created by them.
Now that the PRC made aggressive attempts as per all the three strategic designs and India lead by Narendra Modi had so far successfully stood up to the challenge, it is time for the nation to attempt a mid course assessment of the developments for the simple reason that in the context of Corona the country has ‘miles to go before we sleep’. Looking at the events so unfolded the country has the right and responsibility to trace and identify Jaichands and Mir Jafars of the modern era. Thank God! Rahul Gandhi made that job easier by providing sufficient links and hints.
On February 7, 2020 Rahul threatened that the Prime Minister of the country is going to be physically attacked and beaten in public, within six months. The Prime Minister was at his sarcastic best when he thanked Rahul for acknowledging that it would take at least six months to make such an attempt and promised him to remain prepared to defend himself by increasing the number of Surya ‘Namaskars’. Leaving the joke apart, one has to take note of the tweet of Rahul in the very next week (on February 12, 2020) where he offered a prediction that the country is in for the spread of Covid and a major economic slow down. However, within a day or two Rahul ran away to Italy and remained there for the remaining days of February. Now, if anybody from the Rahul brigade wants the world to believe that his pay master made public predictions of what is in store for India but Modi and his Government discarded ‘the wisemans’ advice, he is bound to answer certain critical questions raised in the following discussion.
As India understands the 51 year old Rahul Gandhi, it is just not acceptable that he could make any sensible expression of such observations unless suggested to do so by someone else who has the mental alertness and intellectual depth to arrive at the situations unfolding. Such a conviction holds good, unless Rahul explains: 1) Harvard Gazette February 7 referred to in the twitter message is limited to the impact of Covid on public health scenarios and has nothing on the impact on the economy as suggested by Rahul. Hence, what was the basis for his views on the economic front? 2) Other than casually making a tweet what else he did to bring it to the notice of the state and the public? 3) Immediately after tweeting such a possibility Rahul left for Italy and remained during the rest of the month, Was it an attempt to continue his discussions with Chinese sources and to mobilise resources to make use of the anticipated/emerging situation in India to further his designs to grab power in the country? 4) Did he took into account the fact health is a state subject and extended specif precautionary advices to the state governments such as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Kerala, etc.ruled by Congress and parties who are partners with Rahul and aligned against nationalistic forces lead by Narendra Modi. In case they too ignored him, disclose it at least now. 5) Did he make any special efforts to protect his family and Congress family to save themselves? 6) Did he appraise the emerging scenario to his sister Priyanka’s husband Robert so that he could keep intact the wealth valuing crores reported to have been amazed by him during the regime of Sonia Gandhi through clandestine speculative business deals.. 7) The situation in the country following the spread of Covid, demands transparency even in private matters. Hence, is he prepared to disclose places visited and contacts made by him after September 2019 i.e, China noticed the spread of the virus? Unless Rahul comes out with convincing explanations on such questions and provide the reasons for keeping himself abroad during the period in which China was planning its onslaught on India from different fronts, the country cannot help but group him among the top of those traitors providing ammunition from within this country to China and Pakistan waiting on other side of Indian borders for an appropriate opportunity to enter the country with evil de
