Joshua Project and the need for an anti-conversion law

0

The conversion factories in Bharat are a silent threat to the demography of this nation. Recently I came across a website named http://joshuaproject.net and I was shocked to see it First thing, What is Joshua Project? It is surely a multinational company which is in the business of converting not only marginalized but even the mainstream people to Christianity.

The precise planning, the in-depth study of various ethnic groups, the economics of these people, and their belief system by Christian missionaries is a thing to worry about. Sadly, the mainstream media lacks the courage to show these things and also there are no stringent laws against conversions. The website is so well planned and executed that one with a neutral mind can easily get attracted to it.

https://joshuaproject.net/countries/IN, the part of this website which shows, how many people they have reached and how they have to reach millions, and the ways to achieve it.

untitled image

As you open this section, the first thing you see is this part which shows the population of Bharat, the population till which this project has reached, and the population which is yet to know about this Joshua project. Then there are sections below which have been divided into various categories including states, languages, communities, etc.

Each section has a detailed classification, percentage-wise distribution, and a number of things to study. These people are not only successful in converting people from each and every section of society. The conversion rates are also given here. One number that is disturbing since the day I visited this website is, the global conversion rate of Christian missionaries is at 2.6% while in Bharat it is at 3.9%, isn’t this worrying? 5 to 6% population of the states like Andhra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu are already converted while the North-easter part of our nation is literally in the hands of these people. The Joshua Project has nearly reached 40% in the state of Sikkim,22% In Assam and 27% in Tripura, and 13% in Odisha. The numbers of states like Nagaland and Mizoram are shocking. 90% of the population is in the hands of these conversion factories !!!! 90 %! Can you imagine?

On average, the Joshua Project has reached 10% of the total population of Bharat. They have a database of all the ethnic groups of people in our nation, they know the weak points and they know that there exists a rift in the society which is beneficial for their mission of conversion. In a few years, if they are able to reach 10% of the population which 13.5 Crore people, just imagine the number of people they will reach in the coming years. The conversions are extremely harmful to the demography of our nation. One by one, the Hindus will lose importance, will lose their land and one day lose their identity. If the government doesn’t take any strict action against these people and doesn’t bring the anti-conversion law, we will be doomed!

The Hindus will surely get vanished and the reason behind this will be Hindus themselves. In the coming days, I will share more details about these conversions AND SUCH PROJECTS!

China’s BRI- Post pandemic implications

0

China has been aggressively promoting its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) through colossal investments in participating countries, to further its strategic, economic, market expansion and supremacy, the export of excess capacity, and geopolitical claim. It takes a range of already existing and ongoing Chinese governmental and state-owned enterprise activities in the target regions of central, south and south-east Asia, East Africa, Middle East, and the Indian Ocean region and seeks to provide them with an overall unity and direction.

Many countries in South Asia, an area where India has its influence, have signed China’s assistance for economic development. Exposing Bhutan and India, all south Asian nations have participated in the BRI because of the lure visioned by Beijing in socio-economic transformation and development. The poverty and other issues made the countries sign the deal immediately but the BRI’s China-centric approach was soon uncovered when the infrastructure projects gave rise to corruption, volatility in the economy, a rise in favoritism, and destructive ecological effects.

Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are located at strategic positions as a link between Europe and Asia. Majorly all the nations of central Asia are sharing their political, ideological, and economic legacies with the former USSR. The stability in this region was vital for maintaining its trade ambitions with the European continent. So, Beijing started giving flexible loans after the demise of the USSR in the 1990s. A loan of US $7.4 million was given in 1994 to Kyrgyzstan and another US $14.7 million in the year 1998. Uzbekistan obtained a US $600 million loans for the joint venture of exploration of energy deposits in their region.

Again, in the last decade, in 2009, Beijing signed a ‘Loan-for-oil’ pact with Kazakhstan and later in that year declared to give the US $ 10 billion loans from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to help the striving countries. In 2011, it sanctioned a US$4.1 billion loan for Turkmenistan. In 2013, the president of China, Xi Jinping revealed the BRI in Kazakhstan’s university, and all the five Central Asian countries became part of this ambitious project. Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are less resources rich in all the countries and already under serious debt stress from china. But on the other hand, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are been able to sustain themselves from the debt of BRI due to their rich hydrocarbons and Uranium exports businesses.

One of the many concerns of the Indian government is the subsidiary of BRI i.e. CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor). CPEC is regarded as a massive financing venture, for which China has pledged for US$ 54 billion until the year 2030. This subsidiary will connect China’s Xinjiang region with Pakistan’s Baluchistan Province, passing through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), which is claimed that Pakistan has illegally occupied in the last century from India. As a result, it is alleged that Pakistan’s 15,000 personnel and china is going to deploy 30,000 security personnel for the CPEC in the disputed region of Pakistan, is a way a security concern for India, because the Line of Control (LOC) is not yet accepted by the countries and deploying China’s personnel to that region would naturally be suicidal for India. This act can also undermine India’s sovereignty and in the future puts its negotiations on the boundary in a disadvantageous position.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has threatened to cause a wave of economic crises on the ambitious project of Border and Road Initiative (BRI). Because on one hand, there is a trade war going between United States and China, where both the countries have surged their tariffs on importing products, affected China’s economy badly as major of outsourcing was done by the companies situated in United States. On the other hand, several BRI countries are already facing high external debt and likely to be hit hard by this epidemic. It seems that China was primed to confront multiple, simultaneous debt crises in countries where they have invested largely. A report by the International Institute for Strategic Studies highlights that China will have to face constraints on its borrowing capacity and must renegotiate the terms after the pandemic hits off. As of now due to global resentment due to the spread of coronavirus, China has to face a serious test to preserve its ambitious hegemonic project- BRI, to maintain its domestic financial stability, and to cooperate with the borrower countries in an unprecedented way.

The consequences of the COVID-19 are going to be manifold on the hegemonic stability of China and it will be going to change the world order significantly. The main effect will also be on the United Nations and how it is run, especially the role of the World Health Organization to mask its lies for saving the image of China while it held the chair of the Security Council. There is a risk of breakdown of multilateral organizations that includes WTO, Humans rights council, WHO. As an effect, the global supply chains are going to see a shift away from the reach of China. There are also claims of compensation from various countries around the world including the United States which have faced massive economic losses due to this epidemic.

According to the Henry Jackson Society report, they estimated that only G7 nations can claim an amount of $4 trillion and China is not ready as it will harm its economy badly and are ready to fight the claims if they are filed against it. That will trigger countermeasures in the possible form of an armed conflict. When Xi Jinping announced this initiative back in 2015, he also wished to make china a global manufacturing powerhouse, Global military, and economic superpower by the year 2049. This statement by the Chinese Communist Party leader is considered as the beginning of the process to make the Chinese a global hegemon by US and Indian counterparts.

Apart from that, China has opened a new door to diplomacy after the COVID-19 pandemic was announced. But now that indigenous infections appear to dropped in china and where its economy is showing signs of recovering, XI is converting this into opportunity by aiding Italy, the worst affected country, and other states like Spain, Serbia, and even Ukraine of Europe. Because given the EU nation’s initial focus on themselves, Rome has felt abandoned. The sudden wave of kindness from far-distant China – in the form of thousands of masks, ventilators, protective equipment, and medicines, not only is Italy desperate for such deliveries, but it is also politically vulnerable. When in March 2019, when Italy became the first G7 country to officially join this project, Rome was loudly criticized by the large EU states. They feared Beijing could drive a wedge between EU members.

The pandemic of COVID-19 has served as an opportunity for China to be more assertive in these economically precarious nations. The Communist Party has an opportunity to exploit the epidemic induced nations to give control of their strategic ports, location, land, and mines. Or to save its image, China can also increase its settlement of migrant workers instead of asking for control of the resources in the partner countries. This effect can also lead to serious cultural and social repercussions and give rise to global terror outfits, much like what is happening in Europe due to large-scale migration from the middle east.

In the post-COVID-19 world, the debt trapped diplomacy by china will have significant strategic and economic implications for India because Pakistan has to pay the US $615 million to china by June 2021 for debt incurred through BRI projects and Pakistan economy is currently more volatile than ever. This fickle situation can give anti-china sentiments in the partner nation and could also be led to an increase in terrorist organizations especially in the border regions of India. It is thus necessary for India to reforge its foreign policy with greater intensity in the post-covid-19 world order by taking lead for the third world countries and in non-participating countries to curtail Chinese aggression in its immediate and extended neighbourhood.

A deliberate attempt of Varanasi

0

Mark Twain an American writer and adventurer wrote “Banares is older than History, older than tradition, older even than legends and looks twice as old as all of them put together.”

What comes to your mind when you hear the word Varanasi or Banares or Kashi? Magnificent Ghats, mystical temples, wonderful landscape, magical Ganga river, positivity, Yogis everywhere. Food, people, prayers, sites, nature, all of them. For every Indian in the world Banares is a place he would love to die in. A city beyond imagination, a city where India starts and ends. A city of magical moments and experience of life. For thousands of years Varanasi is the heart of Indic civilization. I haven’t visited it but I still feel a deep connection with Kashi.

It is my wish to witness the unimaginable Ganga Aarti someday, to take a dip in the river which gave life to India. Visit the history of this civilization and feel grateful to forefathers for keeping it safe. Visit all the Buddhist site to attain the higher being of myself. For millions of people this is the final destination. You all imagined this but what if I tell you that you are the last generation outside Kashi to think it. What if I tell you that future generation of India will remember Banares but as a city of violence, a city of drugs smuggling, a city of hate culture, a city of regressive people, a city where sadhus live either to smuggle drugs or to have sex. Sex and violence will be the face of Varanasi. The beautiful Ghats will be remembered for murders, sex will be the memories inside temples and historical sites. People will be considered as extreme and regressive. Sadhus remembered for fraud, smuggling, murders and women trafficking.

What the hell am I talking of? You must have encountered that question till now. In last decade, the city of Varanasi again got the strength to move high. The city started building beautiful infrastructure and development along with the cultural roots. It attracted a lot of tourism and along with that the worst thing in India, our film industry. I was a fan of this industry till few years ago but since I started using my brain, I saw the real agenda behind. Now I don’t watch movies, neither is multiplex nor on OTT.

 In just this year of lockdown, I got to know about few movies and series from a friend which have Banares in background. I would have imagined the sheer beauty it could have captured but Read the following names;

  • Asur
  • Bicchoo ka khel
  • Mirzapur
  • Madhuri Talkies
  • Raktanchal
  • A suitable boy
  • Virgin Bhasskar

This isn’t a complete list but What do you think now? Names give you a hint of what is inside. I do not want to comment on Acting and direction and music. I’m concerned with the story. Violence at its best, Murders, fights, wars. Sex like you may not even saw in Hollywood. Rapes, adultery, incest and what not. Crimes like smuggling, drug, women and child trafficking. Yogis are portrayed as always in bad light and majority as regressive in some of them.

You may not agree with me, saying ‘that’s freedom of speech’ but I consider it a deliberate attempt to malign the city beyond history. I cannot stop them from making it or you from watching that shit. I can only propagate that Banares is far magnificent than that is portrayed by the drug taking underworld. I would request the young to ask your parents and grandparents about the importance of this city. It is not a place, it is an emotion of every Indian.

The second childhood

0

And that moments that I have even anticipating for days and months has come. I took a breathe and pushed down my baby with all my strength. Before my breathe finished my baby came out sliding out of me. There comes our bundle of joy who is warm, wet, soft and smelled sweet. He screamed joyfully and I thanked him repeatedly for giving me the wonderful experience.

Firstly I would like to draw your attention to the biggest challenge I faced raising a child, how do I make him ready for the future, there were many questions creeping in my mind, how do I nurture trust, empathy and emotional intelligence as these instincts has to be learned at early ages. I feel developing social skills and interacting with world around you will be critical aspect of your happiness and well-being.

I would like to make each one of you understand the social issue that India is facing today as larger population fall in the age bracket of 60-70.

Statistics show that old age homes in India are increasing rapidly. According to 2020 study, over 39 thousand senior citizens in India received institutional assistance.

I want to share my first visit to an old age home with my son. A moment that I can never forget was when my 7 year old son asked the question “Should I be here when I grow older mom”. I became speechless for a moment. I was admired by a strong grandmother who was in her 70’s who explained to my son that it was her choice to be part of the old age home as her children were abroad and she would like to be independent. Science and even the best writer have failed to explain the affection, bonding between  a child and mother which can be better explained by a person who have experienced the same.

This incident have reminded me of the saying “Life is an echo, what you send out, comes back. What you sow, you reap and what you give, you get. Our parents are our identity, moreover the greatest pieces of our lives. If we lose our identity then no sooner we shall be forgotten and lost.

Then comes the next question why are the growing trends in this social issue. The first basic factor is the mindset where there is a difference in value and need of a support system where the concerns of parents  and children are understood and settled amicably.

Nowadays, awareness campaigns on this issue are being conducted but it seem everyone has forgotten this valuable section that older generation had laid the foundation in which we are building our dreams.

Many of us avail day care and hostel facilities for our children then why don’t they avail the same when we get older as we are entering our second childhood. The emotional quotient  has to be transformed among children when they grow who can handle life independently.

Why has “Dangal” become the highest grossing Hindi film?

0

There are many Hindi films before us from the beginning cinema world to the current cinema industry but none could succeed to create history as Dangal did. Dangal’s incredible success surprised the entire Bollywood, even the entire film crew did not expect such a huge success.

This film opened the eyes of all the filmmakers and proved that one could make very successful films without vulgarity and violence. The success of the film does not depend on obscenity and violence but on its story, acting, good direction, time frame, and reality. The more real the story, the more chances it will succeed. These are the reasons that allow Dangal to create history.

Although Aamir Khan gave many super hit films, Dangal is the most different among them all. It is a biopic of Mahavir Singh Phogat revolves around Mahavir’s daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. The acting by the actors in this film is beyond praise. They were well directed by the director that is one of the most crucial factors of its success.

As we are focusing on the factors of its success, we should explain more factors.

Do you want so?

Okay, let’s take a look at the factors below.

Factors that made “Dangal” as the highest grossing Hindi Film

The factors are given below with more details. You should read these factors to understand about its massive success.

1. The Engaging, interesting and well-told story

You might be heard saying someone “content is the king” that means the more the story unique and interesting, the more chances it will succeed. The story of any film is directly proportional to its success. In fact, it is the most crucial factor of any movie’s success.

For the context of Dangal, it is a very engaging, interesting, and well-told story that shows an amateur wrestler, Mahavir Singh Phogat who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India’s first world-class female wrestlers.

He is taunted by society but he does not give up and in the end, his goal is achieved as his daughter becomes the first Indian female wrestler to win gold at the Games.

2. The best casting

The second factor about its success is its casting selection. The director, Nitesh Tiwari selected the casting of stars very wisely. He cast Aamir Khan as protagonist of the film and Sakshi Tanwar as Daya Shobha Kaur, Mahavir’s wife, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Geeta Phogat, Zaira Wasim as Young Geeta Phogat, Sanya Malhotra as Babita Kumari, Suhani Bhatnagar as Young Babita Kumari that are very fit to their roles.

3. The excellent Acting

All the actors were very serious about their acting for this film. They tried to performed better than they could. Every scene is excellent in itself. The background, timing, dialogues, songs are all performed perfectly. These are the core factors of its widespread success.

From a small village to Commonwealth Games, all the scenes are corelating to each other. That make it more interesting.

4. Empowering the Women

This film is one of the best examples to educate people for empowering the women. Even today, women have got rights only on papers not in practical. If they want to do something different, the entire society makes fun of them, taunts them. Therefore, majority of females give up their aim after losing their courage of facing them.

This film perfectly illustrates all those situations that almost every middle-class family’s female has to face.

5. Smart marketing

The last but most important factor is its smart marketing. Dangal was released on 21 December 2016 in United States and on 23 December 2016 worldwide. The film team marketed it very uniquely. They declared it tax-free in six Indian states to promote Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao social campaign. That gives the film very positive response.

The film theatrically released on 5 May 2017 in China. It soon became the most watched Hindi film in China and created the history in Bollywood industry.

Conclusion

Dangal is the highest grossing Hindi film till now. Even all Dangal’s team didn’t expect such this huge success. It collected ₹2024 crore worldwide. The film collected ₹1400 crore only from China. In India, it could succeed to collect ₹538 crore and ₹85 crore from United States and Canada.

Dangal won many awards such as Filmfare Awards, Mirchi Music Awards, News 18 Movies Awards, Zee Cine Awards, National Film Awards, Star Screen Awards, and many more.

If you want to know more about its success, you should watch this movie. It will answer all your questions.

Thank You!
Take care.

India’s digital sky is ready to take off: Are you ready to board?

Drone industry will bloom in the next few years; but not everyone will be able to book profit.

The drone industry is silently getting ready to take off in India. It will open up new economic window beyond e-commerce delivery and logistics. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, will impact many other industries. It is estimated that Indian drone industry will need at least a million drone pilots by 2025, but that is not all. India is also the fastest-growing drone market. From sales to service, income generation opportunity will be everywhere. Drone with artificial intelligence and 5G technology has the potential to revolutionise many industries, such as farming, insurance, safety & surveillance etc. Different government agencies also have started applying for DGCA node for flying drones. While the Karnataka Pollution Control Board is planning to use drones for better implementation of pollution control laws, the agriculture ministry wants to assess crop yield to facilitate the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and its just the beginning. The estimated size of the world drone economy by 2025 ranges from USD 45.8 billion to USD 63.6 billion.

The Regulatory Preparedness:

India is ready to welcome this new economic avenue with its regulatory framework. The first recognition of UAF came in the form of Civil Aviation Requirements (CRA) issued by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in the year 2018. The CRA was issued under Aircraft Rules 1937. The CRA divides Remotely Piloted Aircrafts (RPA) into five categories;

  • Nano: less than or equal to 250 grams
  • Micro: greater than 250 grams and less than or equal to 2 kg
  • Small: greater than 2 kg and less than or equal to 25 kg
  • Medium: greater than 25 kg and less than or equal to 150 kg
  • Large: greater than 150 kg

The airspace is generally divided into two categories, controlled and uncontrolled. Controlled airspace is where ATC service is available. In uncontrolled airspace there is no ATC service. Each drone, except nano category flying below 50 feet above the ground in uncontrolled airspace or in an enclosed premise, must obtain a Unique Identification Number (UIN) from DGCA and has to be NPNT compliant. No Permission, No Takeoff (NPNT) is India’s adoption of an innovative techno-regulatory policy which ensures drones sold or imported in India cannot physically fly without permission.

All individual or organisation, be it a business organisation or non-profit who fly drone is called an operator. Operators need to obtain Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permit (UAOP) except nano category flying below 50 ft and micro category flying below 200 ft, either in uncontrolled airspace or in enclosed premises. However, in case of micro drones, intimation has to be given to the local police station 24 hours prior to the scheduled flight. UAOP is also not required if the operator is NTRO, ARC or Central Intelligence Agency but they also have to give prior intimation of schedule flight to the local police station and ATC. UAOP is issued for five year but renewable.

All drone pilots, except for nano and micro category flying in uncontrolled airspace, shall attain practical ground training from any DGCA approved flying training organisation (FTO). For the smooth and hassle-free operation of drones, India’s bet is the online digital sky platform. Digital Sky platform is developed to handle the whole process of drone operation from application for UIN & UAOP to obtaining permission to fly.

The gray area between dream and reality:

Till date, there are only a handful of DGCA approved flying training organisation available in the country which does not seem sufficient to fulfil the increasing demand for trained drone pilots. There is still no approved drone training institute available in large part of the country. The high cost of professional drone pilot training is another problem. Many FTOs are charging up to one lakh rupees. On the other hand, monthly salary offers for drone pilots in different job portals ranges between twenty thousand to thirty thousand rupees. At present operators’ license cost is 25000 for five years. The cost factor coupled with tight regulatory requirements may raise a wall preventing a large section of the society from tasting the milk before the cream goes out of stock.

Tribals- The new target of breaking India forces

0

Last week the entire conservative and right wing circles of the country were discussing about the “Sarna Code”. That Sarna code is anti-Hindu and an unnecessary trick to appease a section the society. But we are all missing the point that it is a major handiwork of the Christian missionaries and other breaking India forces with active support from various political parties and state governments, silently a mass movement is taking place to separate the tribals from Hindudom.

What is Sarna Code passed by the Jharkand Assembly[1]? To put it simply Sarna Code provides for a separate religion category for tribals of Jharkand in the upcoming census[2]. The tribal communities of Jharkand have been demanding for this code for a very long time. But the demand has been pushed by the Church and Christian missionaries silently from behind. Felix Toppo, archbishop and Theodore Mascarenhas, auxiliary bishop, Ranchi of Roman Ctholic Church wrote to Cm Hemant Soren asking for implementation of the Sarna Code in Jharkand[3]. The church even went on to say that National Registrar of Citizens(NRC) must be suspended till the Code is implemented[4].

“The Wire” portal known for its anti-Hindu and pro-left journalism in one of its article openly admitted and praised the church for uniting the tribals in asking for the protest against the previous government[5]. Though Christian tribals are very less in the state, they are acting as the main force behind anti development and anti Hindu activities.

Sarna code is for tribals who worship nature as god. Christians consider Jesus to be their god and worship his statue in the church. Then why are the church and missionaries so interested in Sarna Code? Why are they demanding for the Sarna Code? One simple agenda. To carry one with the mass conversions in the tribal belts of the country. Saran code divides the tribals from the Hindudom thus giving a freehand the Christian missionaries.

In the other corner of the country, a Christian Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh declares that tribals belong to a different religion[6] and adds a separate column for them in the ongoing household survey. In the state of Odisha, Secretary general of Odisha Adibasi Kalyan Mahasangha Niranjan Bishi, said they are planning for a mass movement in demand for separate religion category for tribals[7]. This move will easily bring down the Hindu population by 8-10% in the nation. Hindus are already a minority in several states and this kind of acts separating tribals from the Hindudom will only increase the sufferings of Hindus.

RSS and its affiliate bodies like Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram have already jumped in and are conducting meetings with concerned parties to counter this anti Hindu move of the church[8]. But it wont be enough. Sarna Code is just the beginning.

Constitution Order(Scheduled Caste) 1950 clearly states that only a Hindu can be member of SC community thus reserving the benefits for the real underprivileged sections of the Hindu society. But Constitution Order(Scheduled Tribe) 1950 doesn’t say so. Due to this even after converting to Christianity, converts from ST communities availing reservations and other benefits. Its high time the central government changes this order.

Women in the workplace: Issues and challenges

0

An interesting survey among the top corporate giants around the world confirms that women in the workplace have proved their stupendous presence in almost every industry and in huge numbers. They are strong, smart, technically competent and emotionally valiant in comparison to their male counterparts. As such they are rightly called as the new age corporate women. But despite achieving such huge laurels, women still face many obstacles in their workplace.

Gender bias and sexual harassment are not just what we are talking about but there are few more issues that are big hurdles for women to grow high up in the corporate scene.

Let us discuss the most predominant challenges that women in the workplace face in their day to day life.

Women need to prove

To meet the standard and to hold a higher position in a an organisation, a woman need to prove herself more than her counterparts. It is very common to hold a good and senior position by male in an organization. If we say woman also hold such position, it is definitely yes but that are very less in number. Women need to prove themselves, need to raise voice for their rights. Although they deserve such position, the positive result comes after a lot of hurdles.

Periods: a common problem

In a month, the most sensitive time for women are those period days. The pain, the irritation, the mood swings through which women have to go through these days can never be understandable by others. A woman needs proper rest during periods and hygienic environment is much needed. It seems that many organisations don’t have such facilities for women i.e. toilet. During period days, women goes through mood swings, depressions which are very real. But many people think of it is an excuse in the workplace which is totally not acceptable. Women needs to be conscious about their moods like their stains.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy is major concern at workplace. There are numerous examples of discrimination and job loss for women employees during their pregnancy period. The maternity discrimination is so higher that often it comes as offensive narration by colleagues or seniors, kind if advice to leave the job in the form of taking leave, no signs of promoting them to better position and finally women employees are fired. Even after the child birth, the amount of maternity leave is not sufficient to leave the child alone.

Sexual harassment

Not only someone’s unwanted touch means sexual harassment. Sexual harassment comes in the form of verbal comments, unwanted looks, messages and worst part is the physical touch. Many women employees don’t raise voice or file complaint against this kind of behaviour at workplace due to the fear of loosing their job if it is done by some senior personnel or due to the fear of hitting back at them. Even sometimes women need to carry the whole burden on their shoulder.

Female in a superior position

It is a common scenario to see a man in higher position but working under a woman in an organisation? How does it feel for other employees? Many employees think that working under a woman is not their cup of tea and they feel less satisfied. It is the result of old styled tradition of not engaging women at work and eventually there is less umber of women holding top most positions. There is no spontaneous encouragement for women employees and as a result seeing your boss as a woman is like seeing something unusual. Not only this, working under a female boss leads to ego clash also for other male employees as they are not supposed to take orders from a lady. Chances are there for verbal altercations and may try to ignore her.

Pay gap

Pay gap is major concern for women employee. Let’s take a small example here. If a woman employee takes a career gap due to child birth or any other issues, then after that period if she is willing to join again, she has to face a huge pay difference. Apart from this, gender pay gap is also there. Daily wage rates for men are different in different sectors.

The outer look

Most of the time women are judged by their appearance, their look, how they wear, what they wear, how they carry themselves at the workplace are matter of discussion or mostly a matter of gossip for other people. They need to be formal and decent every time other than being real. If a woman doesn’t dress well, others assume she does’t have office ethics. On the other hand, if a woman dresses well and pays attention on how to carry her, people talk behind her like she tries to get attention from others. So, anyhow women are judged by others and it is so complex to find a perfect look with a professional attitude.

Work-life balance

Another most noticeable challenge that women of today face at the workplace is the work-life imbalance.

Differentiating personal life and professional career becomes little hard for women in general. They tend to mix up work commitments with personal priorities and that’s when all the issue starts. The family feels neglected, friends feel lost and unfortunately, she has to face the wrath of her entire support system just because she has forgotten to draw the line between work and life. This challenge is mostly self-imposed and to get out of this mess, the woman has to help herself. As achieving work-life balance plays an important role in one’s life.

She needs to set her priorities right and plan her day well ahead. If she has to attend a family event and she is asked to attend a corporate dinner which is unplanned according to her, she needs to gather courage and politely refuse the latter as she has committed to her family. All she needs to manage is time and effort then everything falls in place.

Importance of women in the workforce

As per research, companies who have a higher number of women in their workforce have gained high financial profits and productivity as their output, when compared to the companies which have fewer women employees. Being in this 21st century, where women have been equally capable and successful as men, gender diversity at the workplace should be made a mandatory rule. Moreover, the companies which have a diverse workforce are more successful when compared to other companies which are mostly male-dominated.

Hiring women in the companies have many benefits as they are more focused, committed and successful even when they are under-represented most of the time. Workplaces are usually unequal and it is a global truth, one can easily understand it by seeing the pay, the positions, the designation what men and women get at work. But still, women have been victorious in making a mark on their own in this competitive market.

The best part about hiring more women in the workplace not only helps you double your gains and increases your organisation’s productivity but also make the workplace a better place to work.

Challenges are everywhere. Pushing oneself out of their comfort zone and trying something new and good is the challenge that one can impose on himself. More challenges one faces in life, his achievements and memories increase manifolds.
