Rahul Gandhi is wrong in blaming PM Modi for promoting Udhyogpatis (Businessmen)

0

Whenever Rahul Gandhi comes out of holidaying from abroad, his pet project seems to be casting aspersions on Prime Minister Modi. This time round, he talked about (in the farmers’ strike) that the PM is promoting 2-3 Udhyogpatis (big businessmen i.e., Adani, Ambani et al.). Mr Rahul Gandhi is conveniently forgetting the fact that it was the Congress regime that propped up the aforesaid businessmen initially. Nothing wrong in doing so by a government in a liberal democracy. In majority of countries in the world, the well-being of majority people depends on the willingness of these capitalist entrepreneurs to establish their companies/factories for production and creation of employment. For which, in turn, they seek their property and civil rights to be protected. In these on-going farmers’ protest- 1.0, Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Jio tower infrastructure in Punjab was attacked by these protesting farmers, as they were against big Corporates coming in to agricultural sector. This is a bad precedent and discourages businessmen within the country and foreign countries to invest in India.

Striking- farmers are taking the line of the Communist-Left – Like all liberal democracies India also encourages big businessmen, as the State/Govt. has shortage of financial capital know-how. This encouragement has been there ever since India has won independence. However, there are not many willing enthusiastic business entrepreneurs to organise production to create jobs in India, due to several reasons. The bureaucratic hurdles from the start (time of establishment) to production stage of a company, are too many for a businessman to cross. From the beginning, for any business set-up to take place, the environment was discouraging leading to despair. Communist countries, to the contrary to liberal democracies, eliminate the dependence on businessmen by organising production through the State i.e., the Government. Shri Yogendra Yadav of Swaraj India Party, who is spear-heading the farmers’ agitation, is one such avowed leftist-Communist-ideology person. He conveniently backed this farmers’ protest to his advantage.

There is a wrong impression among the farmers on Corporates buying farm-produce. As a matter of fact, the farmers could get more money for their produce from Corporates than what the government gives them as minimum support price (MSP). It is wrong to assume that the Government should buy all. In case, if the farmers, because of farm-laws, are exploited by the Corporates, the Government would not be a mute spectator. It comes to the farmers’ rescue. This has been assured to the farmers and their leaders. Yet, they are unrelenting.

To take back the three-farm laws that have been legislated in the larger interest of the farmers, that have been applauded by many elite intellectuals, is a disgraceful task for the Government of India. Recently the U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration also welcomed the farm laws, as the U.S. being a liberal democracy like India, it encourages free market-economy. In fact, the U.S. officially stated that it would welcome any steps that would improve the efficiency of India’s markets and attract greater private investment. So, India need not care what pop-star Rihanna or environment activist Greta Thunberg have tweeted. They were, apparently, carried by the farmers’ agitation, without going deep into the bottom of the issue. Almost all these activists in the world, be it environmental or otherwise, are conformed Leftists. In any case, the Delhi Police has registered an FIR against people supposed to be Kalisthanis that were backing and providing toolkit for farmers’ agitation to these activists.

As a matter of fact, businessmen enrich the country with their services; hence, they are promoted in any democratic country by their Governments to have land at cheaper price to establish their firm/company and also provide other amenities like electricity and water. This is all for ease of doing business. The State and Central Govts. invite businessmen with open arms in our country. For, they need more jobs to be created in the state for their young people. The Central Government is keen on the overall growth and economic development of the country. Of course, crony capitalism i.e., favouring and patronising a few groups, must be discouraged. The Congress party has been benefitted all along by encouraging cronyism. During the Congress-rule, there has been an open politician- businessmen nexus. Yet, Rahul Gandhi tries to find fault with Modi-regime.  When the prime minister aspires for growth and development of the country, he has no option but to promote businessmen also.

In India’s case, there are a very few big businessmen to create jobs or wealth for the country. So, if leaders like Rahul Gandhi with his vituperative diatribe scare the businessmen, how could India progress? When his party was in power, they colluded with businessmen to improve their lot. Now, he is taking a more Communist-socialist stance. Targeting Ambanis and Adanis is not good. The country needs to encourage more such businessmen to have a healthy competition. The no-holds-barred attack on them does not augur well for India.

What happened in Venezuela, is a story by itself— When Hugo Chavez, a friend of Fidel Castro, inspired by Cuban-formula of Communist-socialism, came to power in 1970s, he made near elimination of property rights through inheritance for all rich people of the country, who do business, to discourage the rich becoming richer. So, almost all the rich left Venezuela. Then Venezuela’s rich oil reserves were all brought under the Govt. control. For a long time, Venezuela was a rich nation and the Govt. of Venezuela/State of Venezuela, saw to the welfare of people. There were no businessmen. Yet the country survived and thrived well. Of late, in 2014 under Maduro, the oil prices fell to the rock-bottom due to oil-crisis. The country went into economic recession and economic hardship. People began to starve. They went in troves to other countries, as they could not get jobs or survive in their own country.

The lesson to be learnt from Venezuelans-crisis is, that Governments alone cannot run the country. It is people, especially, the rich entrepreneurs who have to. So, the rich of the country have a role. Prime Minister Modi often tried to appeal all sections: the rich, the middle-class and the poor for their contribution to the society and the country. It is no use blaming Ambanis and Adanis. India needs more such businessmen. Knowing the need, the Budget presented in parliament for the year 2021-22, by the finance minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman saw to it, that there is a place for the rich to be entrepreneurial.

Fact check: Altnews & other fact checks that claim “Indian flag was not removed & Khalistani flag was not hoisted” is a lie

0

Alt news, which is a left leaning-fact checking website along with India Today, WIRE and the QUINT, The times of India and boom came in defend of Khalistani agitators that neither Indian flags was removed from Red Fort nor Khalistan supportive flags were waived.

They tried to deny Opindia’s news by falsifying opindia and defame opindia with a “fake news” tag.

Actually they cleverly took different video which was not from the top of Red Fort and cunningly fact checked the different video of the pole which is in front of the red fort where Nishan Sahib was hoisted.

These are with the intentions to defend the Khalistanis as they were the first people who aided social media supported to the so called “FARMER” agitators and fueled the protests by building anti BJP narrative and painted the protesters as “PEACEFUL”.

Now we will provide the proof that they misled people with the fake news in the name of FACT CHECK. Lets see the image of flag which was actually hoisted on the top of Lal Qila.

THE ABOVE ONE IS NOT THE NISHAN SAHIB.IT IS A RECTANGULAR FLAG WITH UNCOVERED POLE QUOTING “RAAJ KAREGA KHALSA” WHICH MEANS “KHALSA WILL RULE” BELOW THE KHANDA SYMBOL IS NOT NISHAN SAHIB.

Now question arises which Sikhs would want “KHALSA RULE” in India? (As Lal Qila is a national monument and these flags are hoisted there on the top with the removal of Indian flag). The answer itself is evident.

They themselves posses this narrative in JATTDISITE

Another picture of the same flag on red fort

RAAJ KAREGA KHALSA SLOGAN IN RED FORT

Opindia Hindi also showed the footage.

SOURCE: OPINDIA HINDI YOUTUBE

Amrik Singh who is allegedly made BJP agent by the Twitter liberals also accepted this and wrote-RAAJ KAREGA KHALSA SLOGAN IN HIS TWEET.

Allegedly he is made BJP agent by twitter liberals. This is also a fake news as he is a politician of AAM ADMI PARTY.

SOURCE: NITIN SHUKLA LIVE.AMRIK SINGH AAM ADMI PARTY POSTER

This slogan “RAAJ KAREGA KHALSA” is pro Khalistani and was used after the death of late PM Indira Gandhi after she was shot dead.

ECONOMIC TIMES ARTICLE THAT STATES THAT “RAAJ KAREGA KHALSA” IS A SLOGAN WHICH WAS USED ALONG WITH KHALISTAN ZINDABAAD BY KHALISTANI SUPPORTERS AFTER ASSASITANION OF LATE PRIME MINISTER INDRA GANDHI IN 1984

Now the question is that was Indian flag removed? The answer is YES. There is a video evidence that Indian flag was removed. Here is a live from NItin Shukla- a YouTube newsreader.

Source: NITIN SHUKLA LIVE

You can clearly see Indian flag been thrown away by Khalistani agitators. Even then these faulty fact checkers are in denial mode in defend of agitators. The agenda spread by these left leaning fact checkers were also repeated by left leaning Senior Journalists on YouTube.

SOURCE: NEWSBAAZ.NEWSBAAZ CLAIMS THAT TRICOLOUR WAS NOT REMOVED AND BLAMES MEDIA WHEN THEY SHOWED THE COUNTERPART.

Again a Sikh reporter accepted the fact that “tricolour was removed and Khalistani flag was hoisted”. Suddenly knowing the consequences of reporting the heinous act,he disrupted his words and changed his words from “khalistani flag to “kesari flag”. You can clearly see how he retracted after saying the truth.

Opindia condemns such malicious activities and do not posses any intentions to defame India. But truth should be in front or else wrong history will be written in future. And denial of such actions will lead to repetitions of such activities.

Condolence message- Delhi BJP

0

My heartfelt condolence to all BJP voters in Delhi on passing away of the glorious tradition of struggle and working at the grassroot in Delhi BJP.

I am shattered and disappointed beyond words at the passing away of these essential qualities leaving dedicated BJP voters bereft of any political choice to make their voice heard. A rather meek dissolution of what once used to be a party lionized by likes of Madan Lal Khurana, Sahib Singh Verma, B L Sharma Prem, Charti Lal Goel, Jagdish Mukhi and Sahab Singh Chauhan. A steady decline in political health that has started with the appointment of O P Kohli and worsened under the lacklustre leadership of many successive Delhi BJP presidents, barring a brief period when it was under treatment of Dr. Harshvardhan, has finally managed to consume this once glorious state unit of BJP.

The father of second wave of Khalistan Arvind Kejriwal, is ruling Delhi deploying most hateful means of lies and deception bordering on anti-Hindu rhetoric, be it appeasement of one particular community to win Delhi elections as was evident in active involvement of his cadres in the anti Hindu progrom in Delhi as an aftermath of hateful anti- CAA protest or now when he has become Sevadaar of fanatics from another community who are feeling emboldened enough to run amok and cause havoc in our national capital Delhi, the very municipality which Mr. Kejriwal shamelessly proclaimed as his own private property, just so that he can get their votes in upcoming election in a state where this very community makes for a majority. In these very depressing times when the core voter of BJP is expecting its state unit to effectively counter and name and shame this abhorrent AAP government, we learnt of passing away of Delhi BJP’s courage and connection to its core values, by way of its complete disappearing and surrendering act. It leaders who once used to march in the street hand in hand with the masses to raise the voice of the people and push nationalistic ideology are now happy driving in big SUVs and content being social media watchers. Where is the gherao of Kejriwal asking why is he supporting demands to make burning stubble a birth right thus making Delhi a Gas chamber? Where are the bandhs and dharna against AAPs active support to Khalistan elements in the garb of supporting farmers? Where are those state leaders who would call out the lies an canards of AAP on social media platform, TV studios and most importantly on the street ?

Alas, I did not expect it to come to this pass that one will not even feel any sense of sadness at this demise, it was in the offing for sometime.

However, the core supporter and people who look forward to Narendra Modi and India under his watch, living in Delhi, are feeling utterly helpless and orphaned at this hapless turn of events.

Due to the immense faith in Hindu belief and consequently belief in reincarnation, I will hope that the courage and fighting spirit will take a rebirth. Until such time, praying for a day when the Delhi BJP leaders will get off the shoulder of Modi and Shah and start doing some heavy lifting themselves.

Until that time,

Om Shanti Om !

Just another attempt of stereotyping Hindus and Hindutva?

0

Came across a month or so old, one of usual jaundiced critique of Hindutva by a professor of Indian descent who sits in Denmark namely Tabish Khair. Why take notice of it? Because not only it certainly misses certain important points but threatens about ‘costs’ obliquely right from the platform of National Herald India and still wants to be counted to be liberal among liberals. These kinds of critiques are so routine like copy paste and are hardly taken note of so go unaddressed and copy pasted again to continue with false information plus negative stereotyping of patriotic Hindus and Hindutva.

Khair’s last but one para uses wording, “….Hence, my expectation from the so-called ‘moderates’…in the Hindutva fold…”. This is a very ironic way of communicating. Incidentally Khair is a professor of English language and supposed to know linguistics better than the rest of us who are poor in linguistics. Even before appealing moderates among ‘Hindutva fold’ he prefixes ‘so-called’ and in the next para decides conversation and discussion are not possible, and in previous paras before talks of  “….It is the descendants of my Sanskrit tutor and my father’s RSS friends that I am talking about. Why are they still silent?…And that includes the ‘judicious silence’ of the heads of the national ‘family’ now…”. Which national family he is referring to? Is he referring to the Head of Indian Congress family or RSS family?

Being a ‘so called’ overseas based intellectual gives one, free license to succumb to fear mongering, repeat victim card without being a victim and help spread misinformation about patriotic Hindus and Hindutva? As another ordinary person we are just unaware what kind of effort this particular linguist or his  so called intellectual fraternity takes to inform the world that ‘Hindutva’s means ‘just hinduness’ (with both meanings of word ‘just’) and no one gets any moral right to negatively stereotype the term.

Khair in his own article while stating  “…I have for years demanded that Muslims, religious, semi-religious and irreligious, need to oppose the fundamentalist tendencies in Islam – not in order to prove their ‘innocence’ to others, but in order to prevent the destructiveness of bigotry and intolerance from spreading within their own communities…. I must say that many Muslims, like me, have stepped up over the years – some far more boldly than me and at greater risk to themselves – and spoken against such tendencies in Muslim communities. I particularly admire those who are religious, and have nevertheless spoken up – for they, by definition, do it in a more precarious context.” He himself acknowledges the existence of questionable fundamentalist tendencies among Muslims which do pose risks to free expression.  In the same para he himself states, “ ….I have demanded it even in the years when I would be vigorously attacked for such statements in liberal or leftist circles. …”

Now only following questions  Khair and his ilk need to answer

  • Why should any society or government accept any illegal ‘mass’ migration ?  (Emphasis to words ‘illingal’ and ‘mass’)
  • Khair Talks of Europe and West, so does European union or USA approves of illigal human trafficking and illigal mass migration?
  • If any mass migration has to be accepted  due to economic  reasons then why not provide economic help to people in their own cultural background rather than importing and exporting them and thrusting them in an alien cultural background and then complain.
  • Does ‘Khair’ or any other liberal do have  any magic sticks or ideas which can automatically transform a citizen of non plural background into a plural  background just by  crossing over a secular state’s border ?; If not then which logic  on earth supports  secular nations should accept mass migration from non secular/non plural  culture and change it’s demography and take any chance to compromise the future of pluralism?
  • Again Bangladesh’s economy is reasonably growing, India Bangladesh relations going well and India can very well support Bangladeshis in Bangladesh itself rather than accepting mass importing of them in India. Bangladesh won’t have a problem then why left liberals have issues ? Or do they have vested interests in changing India’s demography ?
  • One concern and misunderstanding seems to be around  BJP governments contemplated citizenship register. If many other  countries can have citizenship registers why can India not have one of its own? Here important point being missed is Indian Muslims are  least likely to be affected in the process because majority of Indian Muslim population is urban or semi urban has been regularly voting since 1947 so for them proving their antecedents since 1947 is any way not going to be difficult. Intention of process seems to control any possibilities of illegal migration of non pluralistic  values from Pakistan or Bangladesh and what is wrong in that ?

Problems are actually different, In case of any new citizenship register Government needs to think for such Hindus whose forefathers might not have been registered in any electoral roll. Second issue is after all Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of India and may be after they become properly plural secular and accept Indian ancestry and culture again India need to have a mechanism to  take back Pakistan and Bangladesh as Indian states  but as of now we don’t know how many  decades or centuries that would  take.

As such there is more to counter in Khair’s article but as of now let us end with his indirect reference to RSS head, but matter of fact is, probably among all RSS heads up til now Mohan Bhagwat seems to be most inclusive minded and has acted upon the same. It is different matter vested interests do not allow critiques to see positive steps taken by Mohan Bhagwat towards more inclusiveness. If RSS critics see Bhagwats contribution they will realise the same, and Hindus can only pray and hope for the same.

Despicable and deplorable desecration of the Red Fort: Bharat’s damaged democracy

0

As a proud Hindu, I was glued to my television watching India’s spectacular Republic Day celebration even 10,000 km away in the United States. It was a display of the stronger and emerging New India’s democracy, development, and an “Atma-Nirbhar” (self-reliant) Bharat in the making. The celebrations were deeply rooted in the culture, valor, and military-might making everyone proud even during the pandemic environment.

What was shocking and sad that January 26, the day when independent India’s constitution was unveiled, became the battleground of unruly and despicable behavior in the name of “Annadata,” the farmers who toil the land with their sweat and grow food to feed the millions. Sadly, those who breached the police barricades and misbehaved with the law and order personnel were not representing the millions of small farmers but unduly harnessing political profits and gaining unwarranted notoriety under their guise.

The most deplorable act in independent Bharat was the desecration of the historic Red Fort by those who were allowed the tractor rally and peaceful protests under India’s constitution on the pre-approved routes. The images showing tractors running wild and breaking barricades, the crowd chasing the police force and attacking them with swords and sticks. India had not witnessed the magnitude of the ransacking of the grounds and the interior of the Red Fort any time in recent history. The mob and hooligans, in my informed view, were neither the farmers nor their well-wishers but fully backed by political parties opposing team Modi’s accomplishments and outside forces, from as far as the U.S. and Canada, fueling the fire about the Khalistan movement of the yesteryears.

These misguided individuals committed the most unimaginable and unprecedented act of hoisting an unauthorized flag over India’s tricolor in the Red Fort, a proud symbol of the sacrifices by the millions for securing the independence of Bharat from the invaders. I call it the insurrection by India’s own who must be dealt with the highest punishment under the law. Their attack on the Red Fort was no less than an attempt of coup d’état and the most undemocratic act since independence in 1947. In many ways, the insurrection of the Capitol Hill in the United States on January 6, incited by then President Trump, parallels what happened in India on January 26 groomed by the dozens of leaders.

Being born in a family with limited farming and spending a few months each year, I know first-hand how miserable a true farmer’s life is on day to day basis. They show discontent about many policies through dialog and small protests, generally, within the confines of the district. The poor and fearful farmers are cared very little by the police and government officers, yet they have learned to live with their miseries for decades. I know for a fact that true farmers and the Annadata in the villages don’t have the resources and time to protest for months in and around Delhi.

I have followed the failed negotiations between the union leaders and the government. The so-called union leaders had no intentions to find an amicable solution. They simply exploited the farmers many of whom stood to lose big as middlemen in the Mandis. They are used to buying farm products at prices of their choosing even if there is a “minimum” price set by the government with little recourse because of deep-rooted corruption. They treat the poorly educated farmers with extreme disdain and disrespect. I speak with confidence that an Annadata will never resort to violence, destruction, despair, and an unrespectable act of flag hoisting at the Red Fort.

The most disturbing and disgusting is the union leader (Rakesh Tikait) laying blame and calling on police to have fired on the demonstrators in the Red Fort rather than appreciating their utmost valor and tolerance. The law and order personnel deserve our sincerest appreciation and the lawless demonstrators and their leaders the highest punishment. No crime can be bigger than the threat to India’s democracy by the home-grown extremists and traitors, and no punishment is big enough for them.

I challenge India’s legal system to charge the accused for the highest crime and punish appropriately including full reimbursement for the property damage caused by their actions. Let there be a clear and strong message by the Supreme court that while India will uphold every citizen’s right to peaceful protest, any form of attack on India’s sovereignty, democracy, and independence will not be tolerated.

As I write, I express appreciation to the union leaders who are expressing remorse and apologizing for the despicable act of destruction and damage. But those like Tikait must be called to the carpet and punished for inciting violence, threatening democracy, and desecration of the Red Fort. The law and order personnel must be commended for their tolerance while under attack by the violent protestors. I hope that the deplorable acts of violence and destruction are the beginning of an end to the farmer’s protest in opposition to the lawfully enacted Acts by the Parliament. The farmers may persuade the government to amend the Farmer Bills through well-intended negotiations if it benefits the farmers at large.

May Bharat’s democracy and harmonious pluralism continue undivided and unchallenged by anyone inside and beyond her borders. Bharat’s call for becoming “Atma- Nirbhar” is deeply rooted in its unity in diversity, and sustained democracy.

Shaheen Bagh and Singhu : Shah’s grand failure!

0

The anti CAA protests which saw the nation erupt in violence leading to the Shaheen Bagh Standoff and culminating in the Delhi Riots where dozens of lives were lost. The background of anti CAA need not be emphasised here but the failure of the government and the inept handling by the Home Minister, the modern Chanakya, a slur though, Amit Shah was supposed to be a Case Study for any future protests of the magnitude as the anti CAA protests. The anti CAA/NRC protests saw massive mobilising by every section opposed to the Modi government. Yet, the grand failure of intelligence agencies, police, civil services could certainly be a template for future protests but nothing happened, no lessons learned, no measures initiated to stop repeat of such protests, no rules, no regulations put in place to prevent similar violent protests. And, Delhi paid for the ineptitude of the Home Ministry & the Home Minister. The capital was taken hostage by sword wielding, horse riding Nihangs, Sikh protesters, and maybe some farmers too. It was the “Capitol Hill Moment” for India.

Modi government and the Home Minister after passing the important CAA Bill forgot the backlash it would create, maybe confident in their own beliefs of tackling the repeal of Art 370 peacefully did not bargain for massive protests and violence nor did the Home Ministry apprehend the culmination of the CAA protests in Delhi Riots. The failure of all resources available to Home Minister to convey the ground realities in case of CAA protests have replicated themselves in the Farmers Protests. But the larger question remains, “ was it collective failure or deliberate mishandling for political gains in case of CAA protests or was it the ineptness of the Minister in Charge ?”

Shaheen Bagh exposed the government mishandling. The government which rode to power with an absolute majority and more seats than the last time is supposedly seen as a strong government but the handling proved its supporters wrong. The poor beaten supporters still hedged their bets that next time government will not let a Shaheen Bagh redux and it’s once again Egg on the Face. Government or its minions may have any spin on the mishandling of the Farmers Protests but the naked fact staring at us is the Khalistani Flag flying at the Red Fort. There are conspiracy theorists spinning webs of Modi government exposing the Farmers protests as one led by anti national forces, of giving a loose rope for these forces to hang themselves, of exposing the perennial malcontents the Left Liberals, the Urban Naxals and the assorted opposition.

Whatever maybe the spin, it was a colossal failure of the Modi government and its self proclaimed Chanakya, the Home Minister Amir Shah. The protests have been raging for almost two months, very similar to the ones organised by the opposition to the government during the anti CAA/NRC protests, the modus operandi was uncannily same, hold ground, mobilise crowds, outsourcing protests to non farmers, getting the anti government lobbies, the media including the international media to create a hype over the Farmers Protests which it was not. International mouthpieces started calling these as the Biggest Revolt against the Modi government in its six and half years of power. Surprisingly, the government failed the counter the information war unleashed upon it , the so called Godi Media subsisting on this government’s patronage has been exposed too.

What has shocked BJP supporters is the unwillingness of the government to enforce the rule of law. It stood watching helplessly as the goons in garb of farmers attacked police, public property and stormed the Red Fort in the heart of Indian capital. Not that its arguments in SC reposed any confidence in the government, it was mostly in sync with the SC ruling a stay on the implementation of the new laws probably in hope of buying time for its political machinations to have effect. Surprisingly, it again did not take into account the resourcefulness of the forces arraigned against it.

The blockade of Delhi was almost complete with borders at Singhu, Tikri, Shahjahanbad, Ghaziabad picketed by the protesters, letting only the essential cargos moving into the capital. Then came the big announcement of farmers declaring a Parallel Republic Day rally in Delhi. The government was seen pleading in the SC trying to exhort promises from the lawyers representing the farmers totally oblivious to the fact that these lawyers were nothing but a clog in the giant wheel that these protests were. It was a hollow word given by likes of Dushyant Dave and Colin Gonsalves who were buying time while trying to be righteous in the SC

Amit Shah as Home Minister was aware of all the facts with all their permutations and combinations. A man who is thought to be an astute politician, organiser and a ruthless administrator, the twin failures of Shaheen Bagh and Singhu cannot be a coincidence. It has to be either a deliberately thought out plan or more likely a Grand Failure of his abilities to choke out these random protests. The protests in themselves are gaining a permanence in the thought process of the people in the country, it is reinforcing the fact that the government is unwilling to use all tools available to it to curb such protests which are primarily motivated by political forces rather than genuine reasons. The idea that a mob can dictate the course of action by the government is gaining recognition especially as seen in both anti CAA/NRC protests as well as the Farmers Protests. Shah has created an aura of strong man who does not bow down to the frivolities of politics when it come to administration and speaks his own mind, however, during both the Shaheen Bagh and Farmers Protests he has been in characteristically silent. This leads to another surmise, is he in control of his ministry or is he still recuperating from his Covid19 illness ?

Whatever maybe the case, the twin failures have cast a shadow of doubt over the abilities of the government in general and Shah in particular to combat the rising incidence of organised street protests against the government. The government is showing off its victories in the Bihar election as well panchayat elections in Rajasthan as proof of its Farm Laws as benefiting the farmers hasn’t worked well with the Farmers’ groups protesting in Delhi. The government knew that these protests were politically motivated and yet it singularly failed to overcome the political narrative even with the machinery available to it. It seems that the combined opposition has found a chink in the supposedly impregnable armour that is Modi Government and it will go for a Kill in the years to come if the BJP and Modi government does not wake up to the new challenge being thrown up by myriad forces who are not defined nor are visible in the environment. Mobs have taken down many a respectable governments who were afraid to use its resources to curb lawlessness.
