Mamata Didi- Mussolini, Saddam or Hitler?

0

Mamata Banerjee’s party has won Bengal with a huge majority with the BJP not even crossing the hundred seat mark. Despite the victory it appears as if Mamata Didi is unable to digest her loss against Suvendu Adhikari.

Bengal and post-election Violence have always been on debates. Since the days of the communists it was a common scene in Bengal. However this time the situation is really condemnable. Loss of BJP has put the lives of BJP workers and voters to great risk. Violence has broken out in most parts of the Bengal. The people who used to call Modi Government as a fascist one are silent these days. They don’t want to show India what real fascism means.

Heard from someone, “Hitler one with a huge majority and many Jews were slaughtered, same is the case in Bengal.”

The video shows how the TMC supporters have gathered in mass numbers and are hell bent on cursing Suvendu Adhikari. In the End we can her the Bengali words, “Chor chor chotta Sisir baabur cheleta.” Shishir Adhikari is Suvendu Adhikari’s father. The slogan means that Shishir Adhikari’s son is a ‘CHOR’.

Even while the rallies were on, she had said that she will see what the BJP workers will do once the Central Forces leave Bengal. Looks as if her party workers have very seriously taken her words. Attacks on BJP workers, burning party offices, looting of their shops and houses and gang rapes have become a very common scene in West Bengal. The TMC goons are not only attacking the youth but also the old aged and children. Be it the attack on Suvendu Adhikari’s car or the threats to Swapan Dasgupta and Babul Supriyo, the TMC have not left any stone unturned to make the lives of BJP supporters worse than hell.

A recent tweet by Suvendu Adhikari clearly shows how women are being molested and beaten by the TMC workers. Babul Supriyo adds on his tweets by showing two videos on how the lives of BJP workers are now being threatened in the entire Bengal.

This time the way TMC workers have harassed their opposition workers is shameless. The way they are behaving this time clearly indicates that the TMC people are unable to accept the fact that their Didi, who’s also called a street warrior has lost from the seat she was counting. Well whether she is a street warrior or not that’s for others to decide but this is for sure that after 2nd May all TMC workers have become street warriors.

While the violence has been burning the streets of Bengal, Kailash Vijayvargiya has asked Mamata Didi to ask her workers not to do any harm to BJP supporters.

JP Nadda has reached Kolkata. He had urged for a nationwide Dharna for the violent attacks on the BJP workers.

But will this Dharna suffice? Will Mamata listen to Kailash ji’s request. The answer is still doubtable. If this continues BJP cadres will again be back to zero and for the next elections they’ll again have to bring up new supporters. The Dharna will definitely not be sufficient to cater to the losses that the BJP workers have incurred in Mamata Didi’s territory.

God Save the BJP supporters!

Criminalization of Indian Australians- A too little surprise

In a Trump-style Australia’s first Pentecostal Prime Minister invoked Biosecurity Act at the end of April 2021 to ban the return of Australian citizens from India. It is an example of how “White only Policy” still thrives in Australia. Just a week before, at the national Christian conference held in Gold Coast, the prime minister proudly claimed he was “called to do God’s work as Australia’s leader”.

Under the new dictatorial dictum if any Indian Australian citizen returns from Pandemic hit India will be a criminal with imprisonment of five years and a hefty penalty of $66000.00 The Travel ban of this kind to Australian citizen is the first of its kind to both Australia and in the world. They chose to trial this act with Indians and not with an Anglo Saxon. But it is racially biased, breaches human rights and caricaturing the third world a growing phenomenon in Australia in recent times.

This is the same government some time back on its finest display of friendship with India by uploading sizzling Samosa on Twitter. This is the same government spend millions of dollars to lure migrants, students, investors from India and not to mention having a trade surplus with India.

In 1788 when Australia was conceived as a penal colony, the British Empire had a clear objective. Disregard the native aboriginals and establish a white, Christian country. In the first 100 years of the development of the colony, East India company and British India had a huge role in the supply of goods, livestock and even slaves and so on. This fact is conveniently forgotten by the Australian historians with a purpose and Indian historians with utter ignorance.

In a rare of its kind some section of the political establishments and Australian media questioning the motive of draconian travel ban of Indian Australian citizens. They also perceive it as racist and breach human rights.

Why it is rare? The Australian media which is an extension of the Foreign relations policy of Australia itself is racist, fear-mongering and biased towards a non-western world in general and India in particular. In the year 2020 the Australia media and reputed Lowy Institute for foreign relations run series of articles lambasting the Indian government for snatching democratic rights of illegal Muslim immigrants in India to be a citizen of India. I don’t even remember a single instance where Australian media did not wreck the democratic Indian causes whether it is Kashmir, article 370, covid -19 coverage or Farmers protests. Their double standard is very much evident as Indian Australian citizens don’t even have any travel rights nor being privileged as a citizen of Australia in repatriation.

A sample depiction of Indian during colonial era. (National Library of Australia Western Mail:23/11/1933)

The Australian media created fear among the Australian public after the outbreak of COVID -19 recently in India. The incessant display of funeral pyre which itself is taboo in Australia is a clear violation of journalistic ethics. Instead of interviewing Hospital staff and eminent doctors, they had a chat with Indian voices that are hostile to India. The pattern is very familiar, once public opinion is formed then government jumps into action and hence a hand over of the travel ban to 9000 Indian Australians stranded in India.

India’s vulnerability is thoroughly exposed in this pandemic.  The bureaucracy, poor health infrastructure and lack of governance are on public display now.  The sepoys or middlemen or native informants who are typically westernized English speaking elites of India are more than willing to side with and grab a western platform to denigrate and viciously attack India.

Repatriating Indian Australian citizens is arduous and this privilege of toilsome is reticent to Anglo-Saxon Australians. The Indian diaspora which is as large as 700000 looks like second class citizens of Australia and it is not something new. But on the paper, it is a model minority because they are one of the most educated, taxpaying, peaceful community and distinctly lack a single voice. During the 1800s and 1900s, almost 100% consent was obtained by Australian politicians, intellectuals, media and judges to oust person of colour including Indians to make Australia a formidable white nation. From coolie diaspora to contemporary Indian diaspora, multicultural Australia is still under the shadow of White supremacy. The broader question is how white Australia is going to build a grand narrative for multicultural Australia where its economy is not sustainable without the participation of migrants of all kind.

Australia’s former Race Discrimination Commissioner Tim Soutphommasane pointed out inconsistencies in the new law. He noted even in the height of Covid waves no criminal offences were imposed on Australians returning from other nations.

The prominent political commentator Andre Bolt in “Herald Sun” said this new law is so mean and irrational that he should blame Racism.

For Indian diaspora its time for introspection than never. Connecting to the roots and matrubhoomi is more important than ever in this volatile global scenario.

Pak Media applaud Mamta for keeping BJP out of power

A day after Mamta concede her win from the Bengal with a clear sweep of around two-third of majority, Pakistan media started printing news and story about it and snub the Central government of India especially personally targeting PM Modi. Pak media tries their level best to portray Modi incapable of handling BJP and the nation now.

If we try to sum of whole of the issue we can say that “BJP ki haar se opposition khush tha, par use jaayda kush Pakistan tha” meaning that Opposition was happy after BJP looses, but Pakistan was more happy even than the opposition.

The headline of top Pak daily newspaper says that “Mamta wrecks Modi façade in west Bengal”. Further this article reads “A weakened and dented prime minister could tempt it to ponder over a serious opposition unity that Mamata Banerjee has been calling for”. It is quite obvious that their sole purpose is to defame and insult Modi and current ruling party of India and to make a new wave inside common man that the downfall of Modi has started and it will end soon.

As the internal politics of Pak is not going on well(as usual), recently there were full scale riots all over country, Inflation rate is very high, value of Pak rupee is going deep down, burden of loans is increasing at the speed of light so Pak media is covering this to divert their common people anger from the real issues which the Pak PM is not able to resolve to this.

We exposed Puniyani & Mustafa Et al. on certain points in Part – 3 article, We shall continue exposing deception of Puniyani & Et al. in next article too but before that in this article we will expose Puniyani & Mustafa Et al. silence on concept of abrogation, and also discuss concepts of Ijma and need to be extra careful in case of agreements.

Silence of Puniyani & Et al. on abrogation (Naskh)?

“..According to these.scholars the emphasis on peace is prevalent all through [the text]…”

Ram Puniyani 31 Mar 2021

Cactus may very well claim it’s spines are just another kind of defensive mechanism rest they are very awesome peaceful with many benefits, but still not helpful for other species to trust and enjoy life together

At this point either pseudos are very ignorant  or not sincere to their self proclaimed (exclusivist) intellectualism, that they do not inform readers about theory of abrogation (Naskh)  in ABCD which had it’s some of grave impacts, because of which humanity has been suffering since last fourteen centuries, note again ’14 centuries’. While many in ABCD (conservative mainstream) consider ‘later’ (under the microscope) verses do abrogate the ‘earlier’ peaceful ones, and there the question ‘?‘ marks do exist.

These later abrogation verses not only create issues sanctifying and normalizing ‘unpleasant violence’ over ‘peace’, but also validate considerable gender bias issues along with perpetual binaries discriminating against non-ABCD and other gender identities and preferences. (Refs: 1, 2) That very much amounts to setting boundaries on egalitarianism leading to breaks on maximum positivity.

(*Footnote: Words ‘later’ and ‘earlier’ are just relative terms for verses in the same texts as per claimed chronology of revelations)

If one wants to challenge ABCD orthodoxy with intellectual rationality, then identifying breaks on positivity in ABCD and amplifying them would remain one of the most important tools of reformation; and discriminatory usage of abrogation (Naskh) has been such one break which needs to studied, exposed, highlighted, questioned and get reformed by all those who support any measure of rationality.

There is as much in issue of ‘Kafir’ and ‘concept of abrogation’ those deserves special articles. But Puniyani & Mustafa Et al. do not want readers to know even a single word about ‘concept of abrogation’; where as ThePrint’s latest well meaning Najmul Hoda Et al can give unexpected goosebumps to most who know the topic, by expecting process of ‘abrogation’ to work 180 degrees opposite to what it has been working in last 1400 years, by giving prominence to rationality over text.

While Najmul Hoda Et al diverts 180 degree to expect entirely opposite result out of ‘concept of abrogation’ which has been in vogue for centuries together, we will come to it’s practicality later, but Hoda’s description of concept is helpful for novice to the topic,

“…The Fuqaha (Islamic jurists)…Instead of reconciling* … contradictions in [the text]…, they took an easy recourse to voiding those verses that didn’t fit in their juristic model. This methodology is known as Naskh (Abrogation), wherein one verse overrides another, effectively rendering it juristically and normatively redundant without actually expunging it….”

Najmul Hoda Et al ThePrint 19 April, 2021

(*Footnote: Any textual reconciliations would have called in stress on one’s own free thought, by valuing reason over text, to work out innovative solutions to address inherent contradictions and incompatibilities; but so far not allowed by orthodox, as Bidʻah innovations in ‘ABCD’ are not supposed to be allowed)

… By far the most number of verses considered to have been abrogated are those which advice [the ABCD] to be patient with the unbelievers and to remember that [ABCD] is no more than a warner, leaving the punishment of recalcitrants to God. The abrogating verses, on the other hand, are those which command [the ABCD] and the faithful to [marauding] and kill. …

Ref Sherif, Faruq. A Guide to the Contents of the Qur’an. London: Ithaca, 1985.

Hoda seem to concur by saying

“…Till the time violence and orthodoxy keep deriving legitimacy from [the text] and its classical interpretations, [ABCD] will remain exposed to [substantial criticism]. …
Mainstreaming … modern principles of liberty and justice [in ABCD], is an inescapable urgent need….”

Najmul Hoda Et al ThePrint 19 April, 2021

While Those who intend to make more peaceful interpretations there constructive efforts are welcome but not enough without formal Ijmāʿ(consensus) from each of Indian and Islamic bodies in India and abroad; or else doors remain open for any sundry fanatic extremist to always take ABCD and the humanity several centuries back in time and not in humanitarian and pleasant ways.

Why encourage a positivity consensus rather than just relying on agreements?

To water down trouble of some trouble some verses & uncomfortable interpretations there of, one of the suggestion by Najmul Hoda Et al is to seek Ijmāʿ(community consensus), achieving consensus is usually difficult and time consuming process but any reformist proposal to benefit non-ABCD in consistent way the reliable solution is Ijmāʿ(community consensus). For the knowledge of the neophytes, Ijmāʿ(community consensus)  has some level of value in ABCD, so just being satisfied with some positive interpretation of some moderate or pseudo is not enough without consensus from all segments in form of Ijmāʿ(community consensus). When one asks for Ijma if any one is just pretending gets exposed.

There is another way to make follow particular way from ABCD followers is ‘agreements’, they (ABCD followers) would largely follow agreements; still without being too meticulous sans an iota of vagueness, to ensure non-ABCD interest; reaching agreement with ABCD followers remains fraught with risks of conflicts because any one can say it is contrary to their inviolable texts or any later minor disagreement non implementation risks to be reason that validates conflicts. To get consensus may be difficult but ijma is less risky because that is their own commitment to themselves. Way back in 1924, prominent Indian freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai from Punjab seems to be well aware of risks agreements come with so he insists change of hearts on part of ABCD instead of mechanism of agreement with ABCD communities and institutions. But the fact is change of hearts in ABCD is not enough but need ijma consensus to make any commitment of reform reliable.

That is how Pakistan has been cheating Indians and the rest of international community, so be wary of agreements and check billion times more make full proof from every side before entering any agreement with any ABCD, never enter an agreement hastily with them. Or simply keep forcing for their positive value verifiable Ijmāʿ instead. If they falter you can always ask update on Ijma from their side.

For example, The agreement made by Donald Trump administration with Afghan militants to not attack NATO forces if NATO withdraws itself by 1st May 2021 already had loopholes that Taliban continued different kind of attacks without engaging in peace dialogue with dispensation in the Government whole heartedly. Secondly subsequent Biden administration could not keep the date of 1st of May to withdraw forces but postponed by few months, so even after full withdrawal takes after few months whatever commitments Trump administration had extracted are in risk of going for the toss (One cane see signs in latest news 1, 2), the point is religious ideology leaves scope for conflict open. Where as if Trump administration would have asked for clear cut Ijmāʿ(community consensus) from Militants, it would have remained more reliable even without an agreement. So while engaging in agreement ABCD leadership know these nuances but non-ABCD would not know and this ignorance helps ABCD negotiators to get non-ABCD into trap.

In upcoming 2 articles we will be discussing a latest case of Algerian Professor Djabelkhir and just to say issue should be sorted among scholars remains difficult without supportive society, law, judiciary and the state. The next article in this series exposes Puniyani & Mustafa Et al. on usage of word Kafir and how Indonesian Yahya Cholil Staquf are approaching the issue more pragmatically and constructively where as Indian pseudo continue to deflect the important issue of religious discrimination and hate speech emanating from their side.

Bengali Hindus gift power to Mamata, Vanvaas to Shree Ram

The assembly elections in West Bengal were important not only for Mamata Didi, Mr. Modi, and their respective political parties (Congress and others had already lost and quit) but also for Shree Ram, the Maryada Purushottam. While Didi and Modi were battling it out in election campaigns, the one who took most of the heat was Shree Ram. Didi used to get infuriated by the mere name of Shree Ram. So allergic she was to Shree Ram that if someone said ‘Shree Ram’ while her escorted car zoomed past the person, she could hear the chant and would immediately stop her caravan and would let know the person her utter displeasure and hate for the word, ‘Shree Ram’! This is the same Shree Ram who millions of Hindus worship every day, asking for their revered god’s blessings for prosperity.

It won’t be wrong to say that even Shree Ram would have been puzzled on Didi’s angst for him without any reason. Bengali Hindus are also confused entities. Like millions of Hindus in different parts of countries, Bengali Hindus too worship many gods and goddesses. However, it is Maa Durga (or Kaali) who happens to be the most prominent figure when it comes to the Hindu God’s hierarchy in west Bengal whom they worship with grand fanfare and these days even with, ahem, Azans.

In this hierarchy of gods for Bengali Hindus, Shree Ram figures probably lower in the list, as one could guess by the hardly worshipped Ram-Navami in West Bengal, and their tolerance to open contempt of Didi for Shree Ram. Just imagine what would happen if Didi showed the same contempt for gods of other religions. It won’t be wrong to say that just like Hindus forgot Sanskrit, their religious language, and most of their culture, Bengali Hindus forgot Shree Ram too. They, however, being the flagbearer of secularism, were ok with Didi’s contempt for Shree Ram, until the election time approached when they were reminded by BJP that Shree Ram happens to be an important figure in Hinduism. Bengali Hindus slowly started showing love and respect for Shree Ram, even if reluctantly.

Probably this was the best time for Shree Ram in the past several decades in West Bengal when for the first time he would have enjoyed the show of devotion from Bengali Hindus. As the wave of the devotion to Shree Ram started spreading, though not like a wildfire, for once one hoped that among many issues, protecting Hinduism, stopping denigration of Hindu festivals and Hindus in general, and bringing back the glorious Hinduism in Bengal would also be the key issues when Bengali Hindus go to vote for electing their next leader.

The election happened, and results came. Didi and her contempt for Shree Ram won. The hope of the return of Shree Ram from vanvaas, and with him, the hope of glorious days of Hinduism in West Bengal lost. It is obvious that for Bengali Hindus, respect for their religion and gods, Shree Ram or others, was never an issue. The secular Hindus in West Bengal have once again elected Didi over Modi; they have chosen contempt over respect for Hinduism; by voting the perpetrator, they have supported banning Hindu festivals and rituals over promoting non-Hindu religions. Shree Ram had, for once, hoped that after a long time, he would get to receive a grand welcome on his return to West Bengal as well. His vanvaas of many decades would end. Alas, he has to remain on vanvaas for five more years and probably longer.

Next time, it is very likely that there won’t be another Modi or Shah to make secular Bengali Hindus aware of Shree Ram’s vanvaas and his endless wait to return to West Bengal and get his rightful place in society. Shree Ram’s vanvaas would continue…for a long long time until there comes another Narendra- Modi or Vivekanand- to resurrect them. As I hear an azan in distance in the late evening while writing this article, I am sure that West Bengal too would be hearing azans at this time oblivious to the endless exile and pain of Shree Ram.

India’s COVID woes worsen– entire India gasping for air

It is conspicuous that India is facing the merciless onslaught of COVID-19 cases. Truly, India is in its darkest days of the pandemic, but there may be still darker days to come. It is surveyed that one in three new infections are globally occurring in the country. COVID cases are higher in numbers, and India is pushing a world record for more than three lakhs daily. It is propelling the global pandemic. It indicates a grave threat to the economic and social well-being of the Indian people. Unfortunately, the political leaders have been too slow and basically failed to take the outbreak seriously. Lately, they are realizing the gravity of the task at hand. Restrictions, lockdowns and curfews are extending and expanding, yet India is always one step behind the virus. India’s extant catastrophic state of affairs, by all means necessitate and demand effective intervention with much more rigorous and extensive action.

Paucity of data

The grim situation of India in the aftermath of the second COVID-19 wave, has turned all to tizzy and topsy-turvy. It has become difficult to understand the true scope of this disaster. The health bulletin shows New Delhi’s COVID-19 positive test rate has climbed above 30%. Currently, it is taking three tests to diagnose one positive patient, it means that we are likely missing many infections. Indeed, it is quite disheartening to see the number of infections mounting above 10 lakhs daily. And the number of deaths taking place, sometimes it is not documented. The official statistics presented by the Delhi Health department reports 2,000 fatalities daily. Undeniably, the true number again is much higher. All the newspapers report that with novel coronavirus death rate continues to rise in Delhi. The public health departments of the municipal corporations are directed to increase COVID cremation capacity to tackle an inflow of 1,000 bodies a day. Recently, Times of India reported that Delhi is witnessing a 15% rise in funerals every day. It is also surveyed that one crematorium in Delhi has gone from managing 20 bodies daily to 100.

Steps to control

Addressing the present crisis, the Supreme Court said that it is ‘National Emergency’. The centre should come out with an effective action plan to tackle the crisis. Sure enough, it requires serious intervention and closer examination; and the national policies for the security of public health need urgent and immediate attention.

India needs an upsurge of testing and enough oxygen cylinders supply to treat the COVID patients. India should increase its testing rates several times over, with the goal of getting the positivity rate under a certain percentage. The nation has the capacity and resources to safeguard the Nation amid COVID-19 surge. Sadly, the Government has not made enough of a priority.

NITI Aayog said that it is no longer enough to wear masks outdoors. The time has come to wear it at home as well. It can serve the purpose enormously in curbing the spread of the COVID infections. Wearing a mask must be mandatory. It is globally advised, too.

We are all going through unprecedented suffering and crisis therefore all major indoor and outdoor events, including rallies, religious festivals and ceremonies, weddings etc., should be banned. It is the need of the hour. It is essential, too. If these given directives by the Government are not strictly observed, the nation will be too far for any hope of bringing this outbreak under control; and it will also aggravate the impact of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is believed, India’s pandemic will finally come to an end if enough Indians are vaccinated. Vaccines can help to control the spread of the virus. But the Indian administration should understand the key is ensuring the country has enough vaccines. Regrettably, the country is in shortage of vaccine jabs. In fact, the government needs to work seriously with manufacturers like the Serum Institute, or even purchase it from other countries. Indian government needs somehow to drive production higher.

Loss and insecurity

Amid political and social handling of the COVID-19 pandemic millions of Indians are struck by persisting issues of food insecurity, too. The nature and handling of the pandemic has not only caused loss in nutrition but loss of jobs and lower incomes and the persistent struggle of migrants, too. Even the middle class has shrunk in great numbers. The Centre assured to restart the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) with 5 kg of rice/wheat per person per month for the next two months. This is not enough. The Government should provide similar support and other nutritious items for stabler longer periods and meanwhile potential schemes could be explored to get grips with unemployment, food and health insecurity etc. This stipulates serious commitment.

A ray of hope

Certainly, the Asian country is reeling under a contemporary wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. All of us are all experiencing the worst days of the pandemic. People have lost their family members, friends, and dear and near ones. These traumatic experiences are overwhelming everyone with qualms and worries. On the other hand, we cannot deny the fact about administrative and governance fatigue, poor political choices, poor communications, and neglect of public health principles. Many celebrated and sounded the trumpet that India had “beaten the virus” even without knowing how and why. At this crushing moment, there are a lot of things expected of each individual to protect oneself and one’s family and the country at large. But political leaders and the entire administration should do much more at grassroots level.

There is a beam of hope in such a trial period of fears and deaths; we know that the persisting, devastating and appalling situation can be put to an end, and we too know how to do so. We know that medicine and social science are two pillars of public health. Therefore, we need to prioritize the common good of the nation keeping away all our differences and collectively concentrate on public health measures, medical solutions, flow of vaccinations, universal masking, and coherent management across public health efforts.  Similarly, other issues like food and nutrition insecurity, endless struggle of migrant labour exodus, loss of jobs, low incomes etc., are matters of concerns, they cannot be overlooked, they need to be given equal attention. Doing so, I envisage the lives of millions can be salvaged from COVID-19 wreaking havoc and India can begin normal life soon.

West Bengal election 2021: ‘Bengali sub-nationalism’ akin to ‘Bangladishi nationalism’

Results of West Bengal election 2021 clarify that majority of Bengali Hindus of West Bengal are victims of fraudulent ‘Bengali sub-nationalism’ which is akin to ‘Bangladishi nationalism’. On the other hand, majority of Bengali Muslims of West Bengal support ‘Bengali sub-nationalism’ as a tactical move only, which Bengali Hindus refuse to understand.

Majority Bengali Muslims of West Bengal, like Muslims anywhere in the world, believe in achieving Islamic hegemony sooner or later. As a proof of their intent, one can refer to the going of two-third of British Bengal to Islamic East Pakistan in 1947. The Direct Action Day of Muslim League in Calcutta on 16 August 1946 can be forgotten only by the Bengali Hindus of West Bengal, irrespective of they being local or descendants of refugee from East Pakistan / Bangladesh.

Another fact is ‘minority appeasement’ can be a positive deciding factor in election outcome, if the minority constitutes a huge proportion of population in a state like West Bengal, where it is more than 30 per cent. The next fact is Congress and Communist Parties have lost relevance in West Bengal now. They are gone forever.

The result of West Bengal 2021 election is a watershed in the geo-political narrative of the state. It makes the majority of Bengali Hindus of the state pole bearers of Bengali sub-nationalism instead of Indian nationalism.

West Bengal 2021 election is the beginning of the end of West Bengal Hindus. The slogan “Jai Bangla”, presently used in West Bengal, was the major slogan of Bangladesh freedom struggle. The bottom line is in the coming 50 years, most of the middle class Bengali Hindus will be Diaspora. This process has started 44 years back and will reach the peak in coming decades. And their lands, homes and jobs will be in the hands of Bengali Muslims. Or will they be Bangladeshi Muslims?

Every state deserves its ruling leader. West Bengal is no exception. Being uncouth, ill-informed, liar, anti-Hindu and abusive doesn’t affect the victory of that leader.
