Around a fortnight back, the news caught my eye, that read, Kareena and Saif Khan were trolled for naming their second son Jehangir. The trolls (the news read) had cheekily suggested that they should name their next son Aurangzeb or even better (or worse) Babar. Also the news, when further read, told the readers that her second son’s name has been revealed, (which apparently was a secret till then) in a book written by Kareena, named The Bible Pregnancy.
Incidentally, they had named their first son, Taimur.
Now to me the whole saga is so distatestul, that I wish I could get away without commenting upon it. But then in the modern era, film actors can’t be taken lightly. With that when there is an interfaith marriage involved, it becomes far too important to be ignored.
The first and foremost thing which bothers me is the importance and column centimeters of space and minutes of prime time media allocates to cinema and actors. Here in this instance, I read the news in one of the oldest and most respected Marathi Newspapers. At first, I could not believe my eyes! What are they discussing? You see this isn’t about the actor couple or their children. It’s about their trolls!
How low can the media fall? When you think it has hit the nadir, it digs deeper. For the first time when I read this, I could not believe that this is the same newspaper which at one time had the power to shake governments. I am sure Thomas Carlyle’s ‘Fourth Estate’ was not meant for this media.
Perhaps, what’s even more worrying than degradation of the media, is the kind of influence film actors are having on society and how they are furthering the Liberal agenda with impunity. To make a case in point, let me take your attention to the title of the book she is writing – ‘Pregnancy Bible!’ Mind you she did not name it ‘Pregnancy Gita’. Or even say ‘Pregnancy Constitution’, which could have sounded more secular. Or maybe something more modern, ‘Pregnancy Manual’.
She, on purpose chose to have a name which will appeal to a section of minority and ignore the majority! Do you know why? Because she knows, Hindus don’t mind!
On that, you may raise a question that if she wanted to appease the minority, why would not she name it ‘Pregnancy Quran’? or something which will please Muslims? The obvious answer to that, is that, having such a name may be blasphemous and invite the wrath of the Muslim Clergy. Hence any name of that sort is out.
But you see, Kareena need not worry about pleasing the second biggest majority in India. She is married to a Nawab! That too when he was done with the first Hindu Woman and had divorced her. That’s not all. She has added his Muslim surname to her orginal name. And now with great pride goes around as Kareena Kapoor Khan. And hence she has covered that angle beautifully.
So, you be assured, her book will be praised amongst ‘English Speaking’, ‘Progressrive’, ‘Hijab Supporting’, but ‘Not Hijab Wearing’, Mulsim, Hindu, Christian, and Sikh Women.
Look at her other achievements. Kareena is extremely successful daughter of Kapoor clan married to a uber rich, progressive Muslim man. Woman who had a dazzling film career and is now having a happy family life and children. Perfect picture of a woman, “Who had it all!”
This is how the picture of happy interfaith marriages is sent out to Hindu women. And this is how the Liberals push the expansionist agenda of a foreign faith.
As I was about to complete this write up, news came in, Taliban who have been relentlessly attacking Government forces, and inching close to Kabul with every passing day, finally upstaged the Army and are de facto rulers of Afghanistan now.
Which reminded me of an equally brutal and inhuman warrior – Taimur Lane who was a Turk-Mughal invader who founded the Timurid empire around modern-day Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia. Yes, the same Taimur who invaded India (erstwhile Hindustan) in 1398. And after inflicting unimaginable damage and leaving a trail of death and destruction, went back in 1399.
And yet Kareena and Saif Khan named their first son, Taimur. Do you know why? Because Hindus don’t mind. Is it not unbelievable that in a Hindu majority country, she doesn’t feel the need to cater to the majority community?
Let me turn the knife and ask again? Do you know why this is possible in this Hindu majority country? Because though most of the Hindus are culturally conservative, after they got independence in 1947, they have allowed Liberals to write the constitution! And even today,75 years on, the same elite crowd continues to rule the narratives and write the rules by which we are supposed to conduct our lives. You see we really don’t mind!
As we come to the end I must highlight another gimmick used repeatedly by Liberals with gay abundance. It’s known as weaponizing victimhood. Once this news of Kareena being trolled for naming her sons Taimur and Jehangir was picked by MSM outlets, she was given an opportunity to air her views on this. And she really did act well. She played an innocent mother who along with her newborns is harassed by Hindu Fanatics. To which the reporters, without wasting any time, responded by equating BJP/RSS with Taliban!
If this makes you angry and leaves you frustrated, then I can only empathise with you. But I hope this makes you understand the amount of deep-rooted hatred Liberals have for Hindus and the magnitude of the fight Hindus have on their hands.
And before I let you go, I will quote Shri Tarek Fatah, the brilliant Pakistani born Canadian thinker on this naming newborns thing. He asks why even today people have Arabic names for their children, such as Aftab? And why not the Bhartiya translation -Suraj?
Do you know why? By now I think you know – Because Hindus don’t Mind!
