It is time for “Sonar Bangla”

“Jai Shri Ram Jai Shri Ram BJP jindabad jindabad” echoes on the streets of Tarakeswar as women dance and clap to join the BJP women rally in large numbers.

The enthusiasm and fervour for change is evident.

The change in the air was even more evident to the TMC goons, who went desperate on witnessing the enthusiasm and felt that they are losing mass appeal. So, the next day, TMC goons entered the house of BJP lady worker and threatened her, pushed and assaulted her for working for BJP and had to be hospitalized for the grave injuries sustained by her. But the lady worker was determined as she looked at me with anger blazing through her eyes, “ab isko khatam karna hi hoga” at the hospital where we are trying to help her get medical aid. TMC goons surrounded the hospital and police intervenes, but instead of registering complaint against TMC goons, Police charged this lady for creating unrest in the area.

The anguish is clearly seen among women against the so-called DIDI of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.

West Bengal has had wide spread reports of assaults on women particularly on mothers and sisters of BJP workers. In West Bengal, the death of Shubham Mazumdar, 85-year-old mother of BJP worker is just one of them. BJP Mandal Adhyaksh being hanged, assaults on women, BJP candidate Locket Chatterjee who is currently MP being hit, rape of wife of BJP worker in Nandigram, is a few among the many cases which have gone unnoticed and unreported.

Domestic violence on women, human trafficking cases have been on the rise in the last 10 years. Even NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau) data shows that Bengal features among the top three states when it comes to sexual assault, acid attack and overall atrocities on women.

Tarakeshwar Constituency

On 3rd of April, the 17th of Chaitra month PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Tarak Nath Dham at Tarkeshwar  as Chitra month is as auspicious as Saavan month for prayers of Lord Shiva. This whole month people from Hooghly and surrounding areas gather in Chaitra to serve Baba Tarkeshwar.

Tarakeswar constituency which falls under the Arambagh. Lok Sabha BJP candidate is Swapan Dasgupta, MP Rajya Sabha, journalist known for his honesty is a Padma Bhushan awardee. On other hand, the TMC candidate, Ramendu Singha Roy is the district President of the area. There is a tooth and nail fight.  Tarakeswar being a holy place where the Shiv temple attracts lot of tourists but no tourism has been developed here. The approach road to the area is in a very bad condition which adds to the pity cause of low tourism in Tarakeshwar recent years.

There is bumper crop of potatoes and fish farming in the area but there is no facility for cold storage or compensation given to the farmers in West Bengal. The PM Kisan Nidhi was not given to the farmers and not even a single money was transferred to the direct benefactor. There are no industry and no jobs. Mamta Banerjee government has done only ‘Khela ‘and formed syndicates for extortion, corruption and so called goondagardi  hooglism with the people and the women of Bengal. ‘During the Cyclone Amphan in May 2020 many people lost their homes. For a grant of Rs 50,000 to 60000 there has been corruption, they say you pay Rs 20,000 which is ethically and morally wrong “quotes Swapan Das Gupta.

Women rise with BJP

The chief minister, Mamata Banerjee herself being a woman has no empathy for the women in West Bengal. There have been no Schemes for development of women in State ,only Scams. With the West Bengal on the cusp of another revolution, and use of muscle power hitting BJP workers to demoralise them, West Bengal has turned into a battlefield. West Bengal a part of Akhand Bharat awaits the development, end to tyranny. Vande Mataram singing and Jai Shri Ram slogans, on the street is a ray of hope. The Dawn of Progress for the people in West Bengal. It is humbling to see the immense support of women for BJP. They await the empowerment through free girl education, Balika Alo Yojana mission at Atmanirbhar Mahila Yojana, widow pension scheme, toilets for all, etc as promised in the BJP manifesto after BJP wins elections. These promises in manifesto will act as stepping ladders for women to rise during a new government. People of West Bengal are really looking for Change. Change for increased job opportunities through industrialisation, an end to corruption, an end to tyranny of TMC government.

The New beginning is not far. People will strike back and hit TMC hard by voting them out. It is time for “Sonar Bangla”.
