Yet now we have revealed, many astonishing scientific phenomena were already written in Hindu Scriptures. To see the science behind the stories, we require minute analysis and an unbiased approach. Considering the scriptures merely a revered piece, it is difficult to identify the scientific phenomena behind it. However, due to our lack of understanding, we could not blame on the scriptures as some so-called intellectuals are doing to prove their progressive thinking. Certainly it is not progressive thinking. Instead of asking the historical evidences of the scriptures, we have to focus on the concepts written in our scriptures.
Day by day, my personal interest on the subject is increasing. It is not an exaggeration, if said I am in a state of entire transformation from an atheist into a theist. As soon as I reveal one new scientific facts in Hindu Scriptures, I bowed to the deep knowledge of ancient sages and become more Hindu from my inner conscience. My belief towards Hinduism and God, got strengthened day by day after revealing the mesmerizing scientific phenomena in scriptures. Till 2016, I was unaware of any of our scriptures. Meanwhile, I decided to check and examine the scriptures by my own after an allegation made by one of my acquaintances during an encounter with him. He alleged Hinduism calling it irrational and unscientific. I decided better to check it by own.
After deep analysis I found his allegations were utterly wrong and based on prejudices. So far I have observed the very complex phenomenon of Mass Energy Equivalence, Big Bang Theory, Time Dilation Theory and Solar Systems in Hindu Scriptures and elaborated it in this series of articles Science in Hinduism.
Further exploration revealed, concept of Hydrogen Bomb in Matsya MahApurANa. Verse 3 to 8 of chapter 44 of this revered book elaborates two important points – the concept of Hydrogen bomb and the second, importance of plants and forest. How?! Lets see:
Adityo dvijarUpeN kArveeryamupasthitah.
triptimekAm prayachchhasva Adityoham nareshvara. (44:3)
O sages! Once the sun came to Kartaveerya as a dvij* and said, “O Noble man! I am the Sun and please satisfy my desire (to eat).” 44:3 (* : A twice born is referred as Dvij)
bhagvan ken triptiste bhavatyev divAkar
keedrisham bhojanam dadmi shrutvA tu vidadhAmyaham (44:4)
The king said – Bhagvan! What type food could satisfy you? DivAkar! What kind of food, I would provide you? By listening to you, I will ensure to arrange accordingly.
sthAvaram dehi me sarvamAhAram dadattAm
ten tripto bhaveyam vai sA me triptirhim pArthiva (44:5)
The sun replied, “O King! I desire all sthAvar, i.e. all immovable such as trees, mountains, as my sustenance. Those could satisfy me and would best for me.
na shakyAh sthAvarAh sarve tejasA cha balen cha
nirdagdhum tapatAm shreshTha ten tvAm praNamAmyaham (44:6)
O Greatest Sun! It is not possible to burn all the creatures for me even with my all strength and energy. So, I bow (politely deny) to you.
tushTaste-ham sharAn dadmi akshayAn sarvatomukhAn
ye prakshiptA jvalishyanti mama tejah samanvitAh (44:7)
O king! I am happy with you, so I will provide you such renewable and multi-directional weapon, which will be ignited by self due to having energy of my own.
AvishTA mama tejobhih shoshayishyanti sthAvarAn
shushkAn bhasmikarishyanti ten triptirnarAdhipa (44:8)
Due to having my own energy, they will dry out the entire sthAvar and then, devastate them entirely.
Analysis:
By analyzing above shloka, specially, 7 & 8, following could be concluded:
- To destroy the entire sthAvar, huge enrgy required.
- Huge amount of energy could not be possessed by a man.
- That type and amount is contained within The Sun.
- This is a type of energy which could not be decayed i.e. renewable type.
- Furthermore, it is a multi-direction weapon unlike arrow, able to destroy all direction.
This is nothing but concept of Hydrogen Bomb. Now, after revelation of modern science, we know that Hydrogen Bomb is a weapon, able to destroy all direction unlike traditional weapon sword or arrow. It possess the renewable energy of nuclear fusion. And, additionally, it is also revealed that the energy of Sun is also due to Nuclear Fission and Fusion. See the beauty of the shloka where it is mentioned: The Sun will provide such a weapon which is multi-directional and renewable in nature and contain the energy of sun itself. Isn’t it ‘The Concept of Hydrogen Bomb? Yes! it is.
Later, in shloka 9 to 12 of this chapter, importance of plants and forests are depicted, which shows that our ancient sages are equipped with much advance knowledge and equally concerned for the environment too.
