Those must be faithful are killing AYUSH tradition

0

AYUSH is a wonderful traditional wisdom for happy and healthy living. AYUSH is a pre-science, wellness and health based practice evolved mainly for managing the health of the healthy, to achieve mind-body balance and for various paramedical benefits. All aspects essential for happy mind and healthy body, AYUSH has.

AYUSH was an ever growing faith based healing practice until we institutionalize the system. Before institutionalization, the Vaidya Parambarya were constantly improving the system, adding, deleting or modifying several recipes and all such own and or shared wisdom were incorporated into the system. That is how AYUSH was growing. But the institutionalization has impaired, mutilated, lamed, deafen and blinded the sacredness of Ayurveda and Siddha systems. Those institutionally qualified Vaidyas who joined the government service have gone lazy (not all) and have done a little to the system. Those who could not join the Government service have largely settle with private practice. Unfortunately many of those institutionally qualified AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice instead of developing own system have migrated to cross pathy. Several Siddha Vaidyas in Tamil Nadu have already made the wonderful Siddha system highly insignificant.

In ancient times the AYUSH Vaidyas were not affiliated to any institution and the Parambarya formed were not necessarily from within the family. To the disciple who showed commitment and learning ability, the Vaidya had transferred his legacy and thus the sacred AYUSH practice continued.

The Vaidyas belong to the traditional school were real scientists and were experimenting continuously and that is how Siddha and Ayurveda has nearly a lakh recipes. Vaidyas from the traditional school possibly after examining the health condition of each patient would have modified or improved the existing recipe to achieve better paramedical benefit. Whenever they had observed some benefit, such recipes would have incorporated into the system.  In that sense the Parambarya Vaidyas were constantly proving and providing proof to several AYUSH recipes.

We may be shocked to know the fact that after institutionalization, no great progress has happened in AYUSH. If those institutionally qualified AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice had practiced own system instead of engaging in cross pathy, the scientific credence of several AYUSH recipes would have got established by now. But instead of progressing and promoting Ayurveda or Siddha, several AYUSH vaidyas in private practice are promoting and popularizing allopathic system of medicine through cross pathy.

The Poojay Guru Baba Ramdev who popularized YOGA in India and subsequently by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has taken YOGA to global level are not institutionally qualified AYUSH experts but are true followers and believers of the sacred AYUSH tradition.

The big question is why many of those institutionally qualified AYUSH Vaidyas are harming the system by engaging in cross pathy if not they develop the system?

Predation of Siddha system by cross pathy by several Siddha Vaidyas in Tamil Nadu is quite high and which had pushed Siddha system to brink of extinction.

AYUSH is essential not just for health and wellness but AYUSH is essential for universal peace and brotherhood. AYUSH is the only the traditional healing paramedical practice talks about mind-body balance, inner peace, importance of living in harmony with our ecosystem, but also talks about the relationship between microcosm and macrocosm etc.

We are duty bound to promote and popularize the wellness and paramedical recipes of AYUSH. Every Indian must confront those AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice who are engaged in cross pathy and demean and belittle AYUSH.

Collective responsibility and commitment alone will ensure health and wellness transformation of humanity through AYUSH. Cross pathy by AYUSH vaidyas must be declared illegal and as crime against AYUSH as well as against humanity. Let us promote and popularize the pre-medical and paramedical practices of AYUSH and simultaneously also weed out those cross pathians from AYUSH.

Really NDTV is this news?

0

This morning BBC (@BBCWORLD) tweeted a video in which American President Donald Trump was spotted with what appeared be toilet paper stuck to the sole of his shoe as he boarded an Air Force One plane.

Journalist and executive editor at NDTV, NIDHI RAZDAN quoted the tweet, “Really BBC is this news??”

Why can’t this be a news? Donald Trump is one of the most powerful leaders in the world, it may also be seen as security failure.

But Nidhi’s quoting the tweet does not make me to write this post. I surprised when I saw the same news on her channel’s website. What an irony!

Now it is necessary to remind Nidhi about history of NDTV’s making news of nothing, sympatise with terrorist  and hide facts to spread propaganda.

  • Sometimes I feel NDTV has special bonding with terrorists. Normally when terrorist is killed the headlines of channels are “3 terrorists have been gunned down by security forces” or something like that. But NDTV is a unique channel on this planet. They post an innocent looking photograph of the terrorist without saying anything, I repeat without saying anything. Here is the tweet, as they are paying homage to that terrorist.
  • Fake news factory. I don’t why they hate Yogi Adityanath so much. You can hate him, but spreading fake news to malign him is not acceptable. This incident actually is of Haryana. So Is this news Nidhi?

You can follow #hereliesNDTV on twitter where you can find hundreds of lies, fake news and propaganda based reporting by NDTV and Nidhi.

DNA, other media outlets lied that ‘an RSS founder claimed Jesus Christ was a Tamil Hindu’

0

This incident happened in February 2016, but was not exposed properly by anyone. I tried to do this in Feb 2016, but my refutation was not published. This must be done now, or the dangerous, inflammatory & defamatory lies of the media will go unchallenged.

On 23 Feb 2016, DNA reported:

“A Mumbai-based trust is reprinting a book written by Ganesh Savarkar, one of the five founders of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which claims that Jesus Christ was born a Tamil Hindu.

Christ Parichay, the name of the Marathi book, claims that Jesus was a Vishwakarma Brahmin by birth and Christianity is a cult of Hinduism. The Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak will release the book on February 26, reports Mid-Day.

The book claims that Christianity was a doctrine introduced by Christ was never a different religion. It also says that after surviving crucifixion, Christ was taken to Kashmir in India, where he prayed to Lord Shiva and spent his last phase in the Himalayas.

The book also makes claims such as Palestine Arabic language being a version of Tamil, origin of word Joseph among others.

Ranjit Savarkar of The Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak told the daily, “There is no mala fide intention in reprinting this particular book after 70 years. It is one of the books that my grandfather (Ganesh Savarkar) authored. His books are not available and hence, we have decided to publish them again for the benefit of readers.”

He also said that Ganesh Savarkar did the research before publishing the book in the first place. What he has written is not new and they are aware that people will raise questions.”

This lie was originally spread by Mid-Day, after which it was copied by others like India Today, Zee News etc who added their own salt and paper. See what India Today reported:

“A 1946 book by one of the founders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that claims Jesus Christ was born a Tamil Hindu is being reissued by a Mumbai-based right wing trust.

Written by Ganesh Damodar (Babarao) Savarkar, one of the five people who founded RSS, Christ Parichay claims that Jesus was a Vishwakarma Brahmin by birth”.

Okay, so now are we also going to claim that we gifted Statue of Liberty to United States of America?

The book will be released in Marathi on February 26 by Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak (Savarkar National Memorial).

Here are some of the audacious claims made by the author in his book:

  1. Ganesh Damodar claims that Christianity is a sect of Hinduism.
  2. The present day Palestinian and Arab territories were a Hindu land.
  3. He went on to say that Christ traveled to India and learnt yoga. Who knows Modi might have also learnt it from ‘our very own’ Christ, right?
  4. Christ’s real name was Keshao Krishna, according to the author. He even had a dark complexion and his mother tongue was Tamil.
  5. Christ’s sacred thread ceremony (janeyu) was held when he was 12, according to Brahmin tradition. He even wore a sacred thread.
  6. Apparently, Christianity was never a separate religion and it was a Hindu cult and doctrine introduced by Christ.
  7. Christ was saved after his crucifixion by people from the Essene’s cult, who practiced Yoga and spiritual science.
  8. He was given medicinal herbs and plants for his recovery from the ‘deathbed’. Christ also was taken to Kashmir.
  9. It was in Kashmir that Christ prayed to Lord Shiva and he spent the last days of his life in the Himalayas.
  10. Damodar claims that Christ’s family dressed in an ‘Indian’ way and had Hindu signs on their bodies.”

The lie was further copied by Business Standard. Zee News also said so.

Now for facts. Crazy myths like the claim that Jesus Christ lived some years of his life in India have been circulated since British times. Perhaps one reason for this was to make Indians feel closer to Jesus Christ, and eventually pave way for their conversion to Christianity. This crazy myth of Jesus Christ having spent few years in India is believed by many even today. What Babarao Savarkar wrote in 1946 was a result of believing such crazy myths. But of course, there was ZERO need to bring in the RSS in it.

The article by DNA revealed colossal ignorance about the RSS, or plain disgusting inflammatory and defamatory lies. Babarao Savarkar was not the co-founder of RSS. RSS did not have 5 co-founders, it had only ONE founder, and he was Dr Hedgewar, who founded RSS in 1925. With this level of journalism, what objectivity can one expect from DNA? It was not a genuine error either. It was a deliberate attempt to provoke Christians against RSS.

After RSS distanced itself from the claim that Babarao Savarkar was its co-founder, Mid-Day continued to stick its defamatory lies. It reported:

“RSS distances itself from Savarkar
The RSS on Tuesday [23 Feb 2016] tried to distance itself from Ganesh Savarkar. Pramod Bapat, Prachar Pramukh, Konkan Region, said, “We wish to clarify that Ganesh Damodar Savarkar wasn’t founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. There was only one RSS founder, Dr Hegdewar. Savarkar was in no way associated with RSS.”

However, several accounts on the RSS, including one by BJP MP MJ Akbar, have chronicled Savarkar’s ties with the organisation. Akbar’s India: A Siege Within says this about the RSS’s origin: “…five friends who started the RSS were Dr BS Moonje, Dr LV Paranjpe, Dr Tholkar, Babarao Savarkar and Dr Hedgewar himself.”

Another book by Ritu Kohli explains Savarkar’s influence on MS Golwalkar. Political Ideas of MS Golwalkar: Hindutva, Nationalism, Secularism says: “In 1938, Golwalkar prepared the first systematic statement to the RSS ideology, “We, and our Nationhood, Defined” a text which he later revealed was an abridgement of an essay on nationalism by Babarao Savarkar.”

Despite the clarification from RSS of Hedgewar being the only founder of RSS, which is basic general knowledge for anyone having any cursory knowledge of RSS, DNA tried to pit Christians against RSS. These lies of DNA resulted in massive damage. Even today, websites of India Today, Zee News, Business Standard, and others like OneIndia etc continue to have that article containing the massively defamatory & inflammatory lie that an ‘RSS founder claimed Jesus was a Tamil Hindu’. This lie has been copied by many other enemies of RSS and of India, too such as Defence.pk

The damage caused by this lie can be seen from the fact that one high-level journalist, editor of a prominent Marathi 24 hour News channel messaged me in February 2016 about this, and asked me who the 5 co-founders of RSS were. To this I replied that RSS had only one founder, and he was Hedgewar. He then gave me the link to this article by DNA and said: “Here it is says that the RSS had 5 co-founders” to which I had to tell him the reality. He was a well-meaning man. Babarao Savarkar indeed wrote nonsense in that book in 1946, but what has RSS got to do with it? Anyone can say anything, how is RSS linked with it? The RSS had nothing to do with re-publication of that book in 2016 either.

But DNA was not satisfied with even its basic false report. It published some comments made on Twitter to ridicule RSS in ANOTHER report, even after RSS clarified that Babarao Savarkar was not its co-founder. It instead tried to stick to the lie that Babarao Savarkar was a co-founder of RSS! It said: “However, several accounts on the RSS, including one by BJP MP MJ Akbar, have chronicled Savarkar’s ties with the organisation. Akbar’s India: A Siege Within says this about the RSS’s origin: “…five friends who started the RSS were Dr BS Moonje, Dr LV Paranjpe, Dr Tholkar, Babarao Savarkar and Dr Hedgewar himself.” Anyone can write anything. It has to be verified by any media, particularly a mainstream newspaper like the DNA, before being believed.

M J Akbar was in the Congress earlier and was its MP from 1989-1991. He was Rajiv Gandhi’s spokesman. His book “India: A Siege Within” was published in 1985, almost two decades before he joined BJP in 2014. A claim written by him in a book does not become the Gospel Truth. It is of course, totally false. DNA also reported that the 2nd RSS chief Golwalkar was influenced by Babarao Savarkar, which is absolutely irrelevant to the claim of Babarao Savarkar being a ‘founder’ of RSS. Just because person ‘X’ of an organization was influenced by person ‘Y’ (assuming so), person ‘Y’ does not become the founder of the organization to which ‘X’ belongs! But the DNA’s intention was to ridicule the RSS and pit Christians against it, throwing facts to the winds. DNA reported some tweets as follows:

Tweet talk
@MrSamratX: Look I don’t know if Jesus Christ was a Tamil Hindu, but there’s no doubt that Shakespeare was Sheikh SP Iyer, Tamil Muslim. In Gulf

@ShirishKunder: Jesus Christ was a Tamil Hindu?! Now Christians will ask for OBC status.

@hankypanty: Jesus Christ was a Tamil Hindu. If anyone but, the RSS had said this – they’d be arrested for blasphemy, sedition, polygamy, jaywalking.

@Newspaperwalli: RSS founder’s book says Jesus was a Tamil Hindu. Now I’m guessing conversion to Christianity is no longer a problem

@rahulroushan: If Jesus was a Tamil Hindu Brahmin, why was he not a B Tech?

@aruna_menon: Jesus Christ was a Tamil Hindu, it’s time to repaint the ‘Last Supper’ with Dosa, Vada & Filter Coffee..

@vandana_s: This is GOLD: Jesus was looking to go to Salem, instead he went to Jerusalem”

At that time, the RSS should have threatened to file a defamation suit, and urged the other media outlets to remove that article from their websites, or as a minimum, correct the claim that Babarao Savarkar was a RSS co-founder and remove any link of RSS with that claim. But it does not seem to have done so. If these news outlets like India Today, Zee News, Business Standard etc have any shame, they will do so now and give an apology to the RSS for falsely alleging that Babarao Savarkar was a co-founder of RSS. We can see how dangerous these presstitutes of the mainstream media are, they can misguide well-meaning innocent people, and promote outrageous lies to serve their agenda.

Science in Hinduism 4: Solar System proposed in Hinduism well before Copernicus

0

Recently, one of my acquaintances, an atheist or a pro-leftist, told me in a gathering, Hindu scriptures are so illogical that it says earth is the center and sun is revolving around it.

Can you give any reference in support of your statement?’ I retaliated.
‘Everywhere we heard and read that ancient mythology believed so.’ He replied.
‘Have you checked it by your own?’ I inquired further.
‘No!’ He answered.

This is the answer of almost all atheist (a fashionable choice of modern person) and of a confused Hindu. But someone should be agnostic rather than atheist. After that conversation, again I explored the Hindu scriptures to find if it is true or not; with an agnostic approach. And, what I found is amazing, an eye-opener for me. Here are those astonishing astrological facts, already written in Vishnu Purana and Matsyamahapurana:

Vishnu Purana, Section 2, Chapter 8, Shloka 12 (further coded as 2:8:12 and so on) –
Divasasya ravirmadhye sarvakaalam tu vyavasthitah
Sarvadvipeshu maittreya nishaardhasya cha sammukhe. (2:8:12)
O Maitreya! In every season the arrangement is such as, the sun is situated exactly opposite at the mid of the night for every land area (dvip) where it is situated at the mid of the day. (2:8:12)

Udayaastmane chaiva sarvakaale tu sammukhe
Vidishashu tvasheshasu tathaa brahmaan dishasu cha. (2:8:13)
Similarly; O Brahma! In every season; the sunrise occurs at a place exactly opposite to where it sets off. And, similar for every directions and sub-directions too. (2:8:13)

A Little consideration will show, the conditions of above two shlokas could not be fulfilled until and unless the earth is like a ball. For instance; we consider the shape of the earth is of any other than spherical, cylindrical or conical; the sunset could not possible at a place exactly opposite to sunrise. But even for cylindrical and conical too, only shloka 2:8:12 holds good, as shloka 2:8:13 says for any direction or sub-direction, a condition which could not be possible for shapes other than spherical. So, easily could be iterated from these shlokas that the earth is round or spherical and the writer sage of these holy book was already aware of it. Furthermore, Vishnu Purana added –

Yairyatra drishyate bhaasvaansa teshaamudayah smritah.
Tirobhaavam cha yatraiti tatraivaastamanam raveh. (2:8:14)

The sunrise takes place at the same location always and similarly the sunset also takes place at only one location invariably as it does daily.

Naivaastamanamarkasya nodayah sarvadaa satah
Udayaastamanaakhyam hi darshanaadarshanam raveh. (2:8:15)

Actually neither the sun rises nor sets off; it always stays same at its position. Its appearance and disappearance in front of us is considered as sunrise or sunset respectively.

From above two shlokas it is evident that the sunrise and sunset is a virtual phenomenon and the sun never rises nor sets off actually. But its appearance and disappearance is considered as sunrise or sunset. Now, when we consider all four shlokas from 2:8:12 to 2:8:15, easily could be concluded that the earth is rotating about its own axis, as 2:8:15 says the sun remains at same position always and at the same time 2:8:13 says the sun is situated exactly opposite at the mid of night to where it is at the mid of the day.  It simply means that the two points interchange its position daily, else the condition could not be fulfilled. So now it is clear that the writer of this book was aware of the fact that earth is spherical and rotating about its own axis.

Furthermore, Vishnupurana delineate the planetary motion in its next shlokas from 26 to 43, where it is minutely described the time, motion of planets and motion of North Star (Dhruva Tara). That I will discuss in my next article. Now we will see what is written in Matsyamahapurana in this regards. In Chapter 124, from shloka 27 to 38 it says:

Jyotishaam chakramaadaay satatam parigachhati.
Madhyagashchaamraavatyam yadaa bhavati bhaskarah. (124:27)

Sun moves always being with jyotish chakra during its rotation. During the travelling, when sun reaches to Amaravati Puri, it is the middle of the space. Hence, it is afternoon time there.

Vaivasvate sanyamane udyan suryah pradrishyate.
Sukhaayaamardharaatrastu vibhaavaryaastameti cha. (124:28)

At the same time, the sun seems to be risen at Sanyamani Puri of Vaivaswat, seems to be sunset off at Vibhaavari Puri; and then at the very same moment, it is being midnight at Sukhaa Puri.

Vaivasvate sanyamane madhyaanne tu raviryadaa.
Sukhaayaamath vaarunyaamuttishthan sa tu drishyate. (124:29)

When it is afternoon at Sanyamani Puri of Vaivasvat, then the sun seems to be risen at Sukhaa Puri of Varun.

Vibhaavaryaamardharaatram maahendryaamastamev cha.
Sukhaayaamath vaarunyaam madhyaanne tu raviryadaa. (124:30)

When it seems the sunsets off at Vasvauksaaraa of Mahendra, it is being midnight at Vibhaavari Puri.

The conditions of above four shlokas could be fulfilled only, if the four places, Amaravati Puri (or Vasvaaksaaraa) of Mahendra, Vibhaavari Puri of Chandradeo, Sukhaa Puri of Varun and Sanyamani Puri of Yamaraj; set at 90 degree respectively as shown below in diagram.

Furthermore, see the beauty of explanation in following shloka from 20 to 23. These shlokas explains the positions of all these places and exactly similar to the diagram as shown above. Which clearly shows, the writer sage was already aware of earth’s rotation about its own axis from west to east apart from the spherical shape of it.

Jyotirganaprachaarasya pramaanam parivakshyate.

Meroh praachyaam dishaayaam tu maanasottarmurdhani. (124:20)

Vasvauksaaraa maahendri punyaa hemaparishkritaa.

Dakshyinena punarmerormaanasasya tu prishthatah. (124:21)

Vaivasvato nivasati yamah sanyamane pure.

Pratichyaam tu punarmerormaanasasya tu murdhani. (124:22)

Sukhaa naam puri ramyaa varunasyaapi dhimatah.

Dishyuttarasyaam merostu maanasasyaiva murdhani. (124:23)

Let’s see the position of Jyotirgana. Vasvauksaaraa, the holy place of Mahendra, is situated at the Manasottar Mountain in the east of Meru, an imaginary mountain always termed as the axis of rotation in Hindu Mythology. Sanyamani Puri is situated in the south of Meru besides Manasottar Mountain which belongs to Yamaraj. Sukhaa Puri is situated in west of Meru which belongs to wise Varuna. Vibhaavari, which belongs to Chandradeo, is at north of the Meru.

What is explained in Vishnupuran in a form of formula is elaborated minutely and precisely in Matsyamahapuran. The second surprising fact is the word ‘Drishyate’. Drishyate has been used for sunrise and sunset always, which clearly depicts that only the appearance and disappearance of the Sun is considered as sunrise and sunset. Now after a minute analysis I found; it is baseless to criticize Hinduism and Hindu Scriptures. Purana never told that earth is the center and sun revolves around it.

But the fact is these holy books precisely delineate the details of solar system. Although many times it is written that the sun is moving, but this is for the sake of simplicity to understand and according to the relative motion. As we are the observer and are stationary relative to the earth, so wherever the movement of sun is said, it is relative to us as an observer, and furthermore, to avoid any misconception it is already explained in scriptures that the sun never moves. So, comprehensive study is necessary to avoid misinterpretation rather than to bind with a particular shloka where sun’s movement is mentioned.

Hatred against crusader of development is killing Congress and Congress seems so helpless

The decision of BSP chief to dump congress has been welcomed by many. The reason being every Indians want India to be free of the dynastic, sycophancy dominant culture of congress.

The courage shown by Mayawati in her demands for an alliance with congress in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan were actually created by congress. Congress party due to its continuous misdeeds has reduced as a fringe player in Indian politics. In Karnataka, just to stop BJP, congress has gone to an extent of committing suicide by handing offer the Chief Minister post to Kumarasamy whose party has won less than half of the seats won by congress.  Through such action congress has exposed its Achilles heel and now BSP is hitting it.

Congress has gone crazy and mad and is trying to do everything possible to prove it is the right alternative to BJP.  The dynast has suddenly remembered Lord Siva and his Brahmin DNA from the long and tireless culture and practice of minority appeasement for vote. More than people of India who got shocked at the way congress party was displaying its eccentric and agnostic character in public space was the opposition parties.

Congress has proved to the world that the party is ready to do anything to win election. Congress would have been advised by someone that such acts alone would prove the winner instinct of the party. But Indians see it differently. Congress is ready to do anything, any kind of opportunism and characterlessness it is willing to display therefore congress is the most unreliable and that is how Indians see congress and that is how Mayawati also has described the congress through her intent.

So long congress was using several regional parties as host to grow and then parasite the host and make it weak and lifeless.  Today the regional parties are paying the same coin back to congress.

The unreasonable hatred of congress towards the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is so committed develop India and achieve sab ka vikas is justifiable from the cultural point of view of congress. Congress believes in dynastic culture and wants only sycophants but PM Modi believes in merit and undying commitment from his party men for India. The hatred of the dynast over Narendra Modi is seen by people of India differently. Congress had never interested in the development of India or sab ka vikas and congress wants India to be poor so that it can continue to exploit the poor and weaker section of the society. In fact, India has been systematically ruined by the congress since independence. Therefore the hatred of the dynast over PM Modi is seen by people as not just personal hatred towards Narendra Modi but congress never wants the mission of PM Modi i.e., development of India and Sab ka vikas to be successful.

Congress is adamant, arrogant and unwilling to learn new lessons. For congress it looks like even if it loses its both eyes, BJP should lose at least one. Congress when think of BJP, BJP think of India, her development and Sab ka vikas. Some regional parties have understood the ploy and the evil designs of congress and that is why they have moved away from congress. TRS, BSP are the best examples. Left and SP suffered huge political loss when they aligned with congress party in the past.

People of India must support Narendra Modi in 2019 and beyond, instead to handing over India’s fortune to those fringe forces and forces that will cause instability and uncertainty to India.

Ayodhya dispute: A farce created by left historians

0

Ayodhya is regularly formed derivation of ‘Yudh‘ to fight, to wage war ’Yodha’ is a future passive participle meaning ‘to be fought’ the prefix ‘a’ is a negative which changes the meaning to ‘not to be fought’or more idiomatically in English as ‘ invincible‘!

The Atharvaveda attests this meaning and refers it as ‘unconquerable city of Gods’, Jain Granth, AdiPurana also mentions it. It is also known by the name of Saketa attested by Jain, Buddhist, Greek and Chinese records. It is established that Ayodhya, Saketa is an ancient city with habitation over 3000 years old.
Hans T Bakker says it is Saketu attested by Vishnu Purana.

However, the present controversy over Ram Mandir wants to white wash history with an Islamic brush post independence. A concerted effort to destroy the faith and establish the supremacy of the left interpretation of history is the sole aim of this insidious design. There is cartloads of historical evidence to conclusively prove that a Grand Ram Temple stood where the Babri Masjid was constructed by Mir Baqi, if ever such a Mosque was constructed, a General in Babur’s Army in 1528 AD.

It is said that Babur had visited Delhi and other places in India while on a reconnaissance mission prior to his attack on India as a Qalandar, a Sufi. (Ref: Abdul Gafoor, Gumgamastah Halat i Ajodhia).

This is yet another piece of fabrication of 18 century. It says that, Syed Musa Ashiqan had taken a pledge from Babur to break the Temple of Ram at Ayodhya if he was successful in his endeavour to Hindustan. The 1981 edition by Hari Narain doesn’t include this incident but the Persian versions of the book has mentioned this in detail. (Ref: Abdul Gafoor, Gumgamastah Halat i Ajodhia)

Lala Sitaram, who had an older version of this book too mentions this promise by Babur given to the Sufi Faqirs. (Ref: Sitaram, 1932 & Van der Veer, 1989)

Two facts established so far, firstly, Ayodhya/Saket was an ancient city, which historically had an important place till the Gupta Age and was again raised to its former glory by the Gahadvals of Kannauj in 12 CE. Hans T Bakker says that Gahadvals were Vaishnavas and made many temples in Ayodhya during their reign. He says, five of these temples survived upto the reign of Aurangzeb. (Ayodhya: A Hindu Jerusalem, 1991)

These were Vishnu Hari Temple at Chakratirtha Ghat, Hari Smriti at Gopratara Ghat, Chandra Hari on the east side of Swargadwara Ghat, Dharma Hari on the west side of Swargadwara Ghat and a Vishnu Temple at RamJanmBhoomi. Aurangzeb destroyed three of these temples including the one at RamJanmBhoomi, while one was swept away by floods of Sarayu.

The first reference to a Mosque in Ayodhya at the site of Ram Mandir comes in Sahifa i Chihil Nasai Bahadur Shahai written by a daughter of Bahadur Shah and granddaughter of Aurangzeb in early 18 CE. She mentions Mosques being built after demolishing Temples in Banaras, Mathura and Awadh, “the Temples of Awadh called ‘Sita Ki Rasoi, Hanuman Garhi ‘ were demolished to make Mosque“!

She doesn’t mention anything about Babur or any mosque built by him. It is interesting to note that she speaks of the Mosque at Ayodhya in the same paragraph as about the Mosques at Banaras and Mathura.

Interestingly, there’s absolutely no contemporary historical evidence or primary sources of history which speak of a Mosque built in Ayodhya but there is enough evidence of a pre existing Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

Tulsidas, who started writing his his RamcharitManas in 1574 does speak of a great celebration on Ram Navmi at the birthplace of Lord Ram but doesn’t mention any Mosque in Ayodhya, where he was residing while writing his magnum opus.

Abu’l Fazl who wrote the Akbarnama around same time has no mention of a Mosque made by Babur at Ayodhya but speaks of Festival on Ram’s Birthday at ‘residence of Ram’. William Finch, an English traveler who visited Ayodhya in 1611 speaks nothing about a Mosque at RamJanmBhoomi but writes about “ruins of castle of Ranichand (Ramchand) where the Great God took human form to witness the Tamasha of the world“! (Ref:Jain,2013, P.102).

Jesuit priest Joesph Tieffenthaler visiting Awadh in 1766-1771 wrote, “Emperor Aurangzeb destroyed the fortress called Ramcot or Ramkote and build a Muslim temple with three domes, some said it was built by ‘Babor’. Fourteen black stone pillars are visible of which twelve are now supporting the interior arcades of the Mosque”. This is a significant piece of puzzle, whether it was built by Babur or it was built by Aurangzeb, as described by ‘Sahifa i Chihil Nasai Bahadur Shahai’ attested by writings of both William Finch in 1611 and Tieffenthaler in 1766-1771 during their visits to Awadh.

He also wrote that, “Hindus worshiped at raised ground of 5” called Bedi, the reason for this is that once upon a time there was a house where Beschan (Vishnu) was born in form of Ram”. He recorded that Rama’s birthday was celebrated there which was “so famous throughout in India” (Ref:Jain, 2013,& Layton and Thomas, 2003,P.8-9).

Interestingly, the first mention of a Mosque at Janmasthan comes in the records of Jai Singh II or Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur. Jai Singh established various Jaisinghpuras at Hindu centres of pilgrimage in Mathura, Ayodhya, Vrindavan. He bought the land around RamJanmsthan, the records of this particular location are kept at City Palace Museum, Jaipur in the KapadDwar collection. Prof R Nath has examined the records and states that the land around the Janmasthan was purchased by Sawai Jai Singh in 1717. The ownership of the land was vested in the Deity. The hereditary title of the land was recognised and enforced by the Mughal State in 1717 AD. Prof Nath also found correspondence from one Trilok Nath, a Gumashtah dated 1723, stating that Mughals had previously prevented Hindus from taking bath in Sarayu but after establishment of Jaisinghpura the impediments have been removed.(Ref: Meenakshi Jain, 2013, Rama & Ayodhya).

Surprisingly, this mountain of evidence has been ignored by the Marxist historians who have denied any Temple at th site of the disputed structure at Ayodhya.

Another, very interesting development has been the non existent Mosque during earlier years as no historical evidence is produced to substantiate the fact that a Mosque was built by Mir Baqi in 1528 AD. Baburnama has no record of any such building of Mosque at RamJanmsthan, neither do historical records of any Mughal Emperor prior to Aurangzeb speak of a Mosque at Ayodhya built by Babur or in Babur’s name by Mir Baqi. The silence is magnified by the inability of our Marxist historians to provide a shred of evidence in support of Babri Masjid.

Babri is a pure concoction of 18 Century Policy of Aurangzeb, whose wrath fell on the Hindu places of pilgrimage and led to the destruction of important Temples in the holy towns of Kashi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Vrindavan and others.
Archeological Survey Of India in its investigations of the site of the razed structure has found enough evidence to conclude that a massive Temple stood over the Babri site in Ayodhya.

Narendra Modi gave soul to Indian politics – Know how

0

Since independence, the Indian politics has been going murkier and dirtier due to dynasty cult, serving family interest, dominance of the club of sycophants, syndicate of looters who hijacked the innocent voters etc., until 2014.  Narendra Modi was the first political leader who brought the agenda of development and Sab Ka Vikas for the first time in Indian politics. In a sense Narendra Modi gave shape, definition and meaning to Indian politics. Indian politics was revolving around promises and not on performance. Indian politics was revolving around money and muscle power. Indian politics was revolving around power and position. In truth, Indian politics was like a body without soul until Narendra Modi plunge into national politics. He gave soul to Indian politics.

When we appreciate a piece of art on canvas, we appreciate it mostly for its life and not for the combination or mix of different colours. We get elate when we read a poem or novel purely because of the imaginary realism that makes us part of the poem or novel. We melt into certain songs because it enters into our ears not as tailored sound but a sensorial feeling that engulf us which ironically does not have shape, colour or other measures.

Today most Indians have started to think of New India and Sab Ka Vikas thanks to PM Modi. Most Indians started to think of clean India, sanitation facility, sufficient power supply, good drinking water facility, good infrastructure connectivity, network connectivity, cooking gas connection, health coverage and better health care delivery system, corruption free administration, digitalization etc., all because of this Prime Minister Modi.

PM Modi instead of seeking votes from Indians, kindled Indians about their responsibility, empowered them and showed them the facts and figures on how India has gone backward and poor due to mal-governance, corruption, dynastic cult and nepotism.  How India was disfigured due to regional forces that were experimenting their power thirst on India by attempting to for coalition government.

Modi was the one who aspire Indians to envisage New India and sab ka vikas. Modi imparted soul and life to Indian politics instead of corrupting the voters through money or false promises.

PM Modi when refers to development, he did not mean development in materialistic sense where more money and more comforts are added up to our life but he firmly refers to the overall development of man. He brought mind over matter, brought moral and spiritual thinking to gain self-discipline and responsibility, to have sense of belonging towards our nation and universal brotherhood.

PM Modi in fact envisaged Ram Rajya as wished by Gandhiji with the starting point, construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

He understood the absolute truth that Hinduism alone can unite India, ensure the secular fabric of our nation and glue unity in diversity. Every Indian irrespective of their religion is impacted by Hindu culture. Therefore the ethos of one India needs one tax, one election, one law and finally one sacred culture – the Hinduism.

Indian politics was like a body moving without Atman until PM Modi enters national politics. He brought sacredness and serenity over dirty corrupt politics being practiced in India.

Gandhian philosophy, philosophy of Swami Vivekananda and fairness of Lord Ram, PM Modi brought all of them in Indian politics.

To further develop India to new heights and achieve sab ka vikas Indians should pledge their unconditional support to Narendra Modi in 2019 and beyond.

Kerala floods: Natural calamity? No, a man-made disaster

0

Early Warning Signals and expert opinions
The beautiful land of Kerala has a lot of specialties connected to water. The Southern state has 580 Kms of coastal line and out of 14 districts 9 districts have a long coastal line stretching from north Kasargode to South Trivandrum which is one among the longest coastal lines among Indian States. Apart from that, Kerala has 44 rivers and a numerous lakes and back water reserves in the state. As you can see how the population of 3 million is spread very near to the water bodies. Even though Kerala has a 580 Kms long coastal line it has only 35-120 Kms of width from mountains to Arabian Sea. We have 44 Major Dams and 40 Small Check Dams which takes the tally to almost 84. There are 2 Major Monsoon season brings abundant rain to the state which ranges from 6 to 9 months sometimes, starting from May every year. My home is near to the beautiful river Periyar, near to Perumbavoor – Kalady and Aluva which was totally devastated in recent floods which never happened in last 90 years.

Why I mentioned the importance and vital data of the water bodies, rainfall and geographical structure of land is because we receive heavy rainfall every year via 2 monsoon seasons and there are enough water channels, rivers, canals, streams which can take the rainwater comfortably to the water bodies and eventually to Arabian Sea. Even along the longest stretch of 100 Kms right across the state, water may take only 4 to 5 hrs maximum to reach the Arabian sea, not more than that. Then what happened after August 14th night in Kerala? Who flooded the entire state of Kerala?

After August 12th Kerala Govt suddenly realized the magnitude of heavy rain crossing all the limits, which started in the beginning of May 2018, which filled all the dams already in Kerala to its full capacity by July 2018. The dams when reach its full capacity, if not opened and flown out, may explode and will be total disaster. All of a sudden Kerala Government opened 80 dams to the fully packed densely populated urban lands, which flooded all the rivers and all the water bodies in less than 4 hours. People living near the rivers went to sleep when everything was normal but woke up in the morning to water half their height inside the houses. The river water was flowing everywhere through the land areas of the cities. People had no choice other than abandoning the house and save their life. Lot of people got stranded as the water level rose to more than 5 ft in no time and people who went upstairs for safety got trapped as water surrounded everywhere so fast.

People had no idea that up to what level water will rise as the Govt didn’t issued any early warning to the people living in the catchment areas of water bodies or didn’t informed them to evacuate or to be ready to move out on emergency call, as per the protocol. They lost everything they saved in their life time, house, money, farm lands, assets, equipment, business, animals, vehicles, shops, stock. Within 24 hours of time 75% of Kerala was under water and the major big 38 dams were opened to the connected rivers. When people realized what is happening around, Kerala lost its connectivity by road, rail and air. Within a few hours electricity cut off completely and in another few hours people who were relentlessly trying for a safe route to escape, drained out their mobile phone batteries and lost all connection with the world. Now only option they were left with is to pray for their rescue.
Ask this question again. Who flooded the State of Kerala?

Facts are Facts:

The heavy rainfall started in Kerala in the month of May itself and was more than double the normal rate, state usually receives. The trend of heavy rainfall continued till the floods, covering 4 months of time. But the state failed to take actions to prevent the floods and avoiding huge collateral damage by forecasting the data on rainfall with the existing data on rainfall and early warning from the IMD (Indian Meteorology Dept ) throughout these 4 months. As per the data received from IMD dept , the rainfall from June 1st to August 24 was almost 200% higher than the previous year’s rainfall but before realizing that, everything swept away by the floods. The water level of almost all the dams in Kerala was almost full by the month of July itself. The data is again available in public domain as well as the Facebook post of Kerala Electricity Minister MM Mani. Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) owns and operates all the major dams in Kerala. Many experts advised the State right from June that if you don’t open the dams slowly during this continuing heavy rainfall, dams may reach its full capacity and it will be an out of control situation. The Government didn’t give ears to that expert opinion. So taking stock of the situation, we have to assume that all these major dams which opened together in 24 hours of time had not followed any Dam Management Policies as per the protocol nor they followed any Optimum Reservoir Water Management system to use the dam.

From the data received from the concerned departments and data pooled from the Facebook post of the Kerala Electricity Minister by the end of July, dams are almost up to full of its capacity during the mid-monsoon. The IMD already predicted very heavy rainfall in the coming days. The Dam Safety authority during its Press brief on August 7 defied any plan to open the dams due to safety issue and exactly one week after they opened all the big 38 dams in Kerala all together.

The Biggest dam in Kerala, Idukki dam has reached 2370 ft of water above sea level on July 20 itself. The radial shutters of the Cheruthoni Spillway of Idukki dam is at 2370 feet. When water crosses this level dam can be opened any time and you can spill the extra water and control the water level at an optimum capacity of the Dam. But the authorities including Kerala Govt and KSEB waited till the water reached its maximum capacity, ie 2403 ft to open all the 5 shutters of the dam together. Remember the dam has not opened all its shutters since 40 years since its inception. Idukki dam water will flow through river Periyar to reach Arabian Sea in 5 hours of time.

There was 2 more big dams in the river Periyar down the line after Idukki, ie Idamalayar and Bhothathakettu dams. So when you open Idukki dam you have to open the 2 dams first in full capacity so that the water from the biggest dam, Idukki wont hit the dams at lower stream and overflow those 2 dams. So in effect 3 dams opened together and water flown down to river Periyar in millions of lakhs litres of water per second. Water flow in river Periyar flooded towns like Kalady, Aluva and Kochi Airport in no time. Kochi Airport was shut for 15 days due to floods inside airport terminal.

Smilarly In Thrissur district which saw the wild mode of river when it changed its course which drowned the entire village of Karuvannur. Chalakudy town was drowned completely when Peringalkuthu Dam and Sholayar dam opened to river Chalakudy Puzha. When Sholayar dam opened and water came to Peringalkuthu dam, a much smaller Peringalkuthu dam couldn’t take the quantity of water came in suddenly. As a result Peringalkuthu dam overflowed to all the sides which resulted in a tragedy in nearby areas. Similarly when water from Peechi Dam and Chimminy dam opened to the course of river Kurumali and Manali River, the water flow was in such a heavy pace that river changed its course at many places to the villages and towns as the river banks couldn’t contain the pressure, force and flow of the water which came like never before. People stood astonished when they saw a river itself is coming through their fields and roads. They lost everything except their life. Thanks to Indian Navy , Army and Police.

Things were little different and scary at the worst flood hit district of Pathanamthitta. Areas like Chengannur, Pandanad, Aaranmula were completely submerged under the water for 3days. Now also life has not come to normal in these areas. The destruction happened and the worst calamity happened due to clear and visible mis-management of Pamba Dam and Kakki –Anathod dams. You might have seen the cry of the Changannur MLA Saji Cherian over Social Media to save his people; thousands are dying, seeking help from Army and Navy out there for rescue. But nobody will believe that, the dam increased its water flow at night time which flooded all these places and people didn’t even get time to escape at night.

This is totally against the dam management policies and protocols. Many people have been rescued after break opening the doors of the houses at night. No information passed on to people to move out from the banks of river Pamba by the authorities before releasing such a massive amount of water from the dams to the populated areas. The Army, Navy , NDRF teamsand Airforce conducted maximum rescue missions in these areas to save trapped stranded people.

The Banasura Sagar Dam in Wayanad District of North Kerala was opened even without informing the District authorities; forget people in the vicinity and catchment areas of the dams. Banasura Sagar dam in Kerala’s Wayanad district is the largest earthen dam in the country. Early on August 9, more than 1,000 people living near the dam woke up abruptly to find water gushing into their homes. When the water reached knee level, they scampered for safety, carrying children and elderly people in their arms.

Watching their neighborhoods go under water, the residents initially thought that the heavy rains that had been lashing Wayanad for a week were responsible for their homes being inundated. But they later discovered that the water had been released by the Banasura Sagar dam. The Kerala State Electricity Board, which manages the dam, had opened its water flow gates without giving any warning to residents of the area.

Experts speak:

Remember the dates, the man-made floods devastated Kerala from August 14 when dams across opened in one go. I will take you the comments of Mr. Muralee Thummarukudy, working as Head of United Nations Disaster Reduction Cell for the last 25 years of his career. He has seen all the major disasters in last two decades across the world closely as a part of his job. I am proud that he also belongs to Kerala and as well as from my home town. He is in very good relations with the Govt of Kerala and gave a speech also in the Kerala Assembly before the disaster, about Disaster handling and precautions. He is one of the most followed profiles in FB as far as Keralites are concerned. Even Celebrities, Ministers, Beaurocrats and other high profile people closely watches his profile and read his posts with regard to many subjects. That means he is a notable person in Social Media and also outside in the real world also.

Mr. Thummarukudy via his FB post on June 14 2018, reminded the state administration and people to take a note of the heavy rainfall in Kerala and the level of water in the major big dams. Water level of both are rising dangerously high and is alarming. He reminded that the Dam water may reach its maximum by next month July and we have to plan accordingly to release water step by step. As this is the mid of South West monsoon season in June, dam may again get further rainfall for electricity generation. So when considering the data received from the IMD Dept also, there is no worry of less water in the dams due to less rainfall. So start flowing out the water slowly so that the rivers can absorb it comfortably without any shock and take it to the sea without causing any harm to people around. No Government, No electricity board, no politicians listened to this expert opinion, when we had ample time to react.

Again on July 26 2018, he again warned the people and administration that the rain has crossed all limits and the water level of all the dams are now full. There should be storage optimization plan as per the dam management Policy Protocol. That should be implemented as soon as possible to avoid a disaster which is on its way if we don’t move swiftly. Nobody cared to listen to that. Who is responsible?

Once again on August 4 2018, the same expert in the domain of disaster reduction via his verified Facebook profile he explained the magnitude of danger awaiting inside the dams. He quoted the examples of 2010 Pakistan floods and Thailand Floods in 2011 which impacted the human life there miserably due to clear mismanagement of dams. The same thing can happen here also. He again reminded the authorities to hold a joint meeting immediately with Dam management authority, Dam Safety Authority of the State, Engineers, Water Reservoir Managers, Kerala State Electricity Borad, Ministers and District Administratons to discuss about the alarming situation which can drown half of Kerala in water anytime. If all these major 42 dams to be opened together it will be a total panic situation and may go out of the hands. But even on August 4 nobody took this serious warning. Who is responsible for that?

Now we will listen to the words of another expert in this area of operations.
JNU Professor Dr. Amita Singh Chairperson, Special Centre for Disaster Research revealing another shocking information with regard to Kerala Floods. She proved that Kerala Government administration totally ignored the EWS (Early Warning Systems). She says;
As the administrative machinery which was expected to do the following ie;
1. Map in advance the most vulnerable zones,
2. Streamline the most appropriate rescue operations,
3. Mark evacuation safety points,
4. Storage godowns for basic necessity foods and medicines,
5. Shelter platforms for animals and
6. Fast track GIS and meteorological possibilities of disasters through dams and landslides etc.

The administration was found having done nothing of the above. Interestingly, the early warning systems (EWS) forecasting was installed but overlooked wherever it could have been available. Both the human as well as the instrumental equipment side of the device was ill prepared. EWS is a mechanical system where technology takes over or performs the task of appropriate identification, detection and mobilization of action. The EWS succeeded in warning people but the trust deficit on one hand and governance deficits on the other hand failed appropriate response to the warning.

Kerala as the most developed state in India was systematically warned by the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) that despite its huge investment of 2.34 Crores in the LBEWS the state neglected the installations and repairs of installed EWS due to which 289 out of 351 EWSs were found non-functional. Therefore, EWS is just a bit of technology and largely a tool of governance which should be brought together in a network all stakeholders much prior to the disaster

Not only the above experts;
Indian Metro Man and renowned engineer Sri. E Sreedharan expressed his opinion that the Kerala Floods disaster happened due to improper handling and opening of all dams together during heavy rains. Three former Irrigation ministers of Kerala called a joint Press Conference and expressed their views regarding opening of dams which led to a catastrophic situation in Kerala and drowned lakhs of people overnight. Lot of people who are known personalities and experts in their area of study and work, put the same words that the mismanagement of dams and irresponsible attitude of Kerala government and authorities concerned played a major role in causing floods in Kerala.

IMD (Indian Meteorology Dept) Warning:

IMD issued clear warning signals regarding the heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kerala during the ongoing south west monsoon. On July almost all the mainstream Media reported the warning issued by IMD. The Indian Express heading on July 10, 2018 regarding the same was very alarming. “Brace for very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, MET Dept warns Kerala”. So there was clear warning on continuing record rainfall, breaking all the early predictions and averages well before one month to prepare and take preventive measures to reduce the damage. But Government failed as usual. Again on August 9, 2018 IMD Dept issued a press release warning Kerala to be ready for a very heavy rainfall for the next 5 days. That also went in vein. Minister MM Mani who is charge of the dams, mocked that early warnings and said Dams are safe and we are not going to release water as we have to collect maximum rainwater for generating electricity. He said this a week before the disaster, that there is no plan to open the dams even though there was multiple warnings regarding heavy rainfall. So Is the disaster a Natural calamity or a failed administrative lapse?

Dreadful words of Electricity Minister of Kerala on Floods:

Electricity Minister MM Mani first came in limelight when for his crude words on political killing by CPIM. He said in a public meeting that they made a list of opponents and killed them one by one and explained the modus of operandi or murder also. This landed him in deep trouble. That was his introduction to the state politics from the hill range of Idukki District of Kerala. Now the same “Raw Man” of CPIM politician is a minister in charge of all these dams across the state controlled by Kerala State Electricity Board. What do you expect?

On August 8 When Press asked him why don’t KSEB open the dams as it has reached its full capacity. Idukki, the biggest of all dams has reached 2399 ft where the maximum capacity is 2403 ft, just 4 ft more. After all the rain is still strong and may turn fatal in couple of days. He just smiled and said, who will bring water to generate electricity, You? If there is power cut or load shedding in coming days when water fall short, you yourself will blame me for that. So we are not going to open the dam, whatever happenes. The dam is safe and no worries over that. May be because of lack of education or there is enough experts to advise him or out of adamant attitude, he rejected the demands and expert opinion to open the dam and start flowing out water slowly to avoid the damage.

On August 14th when the dams reached maximum level of water and there was a chance of overflow from the dam, the minister , KSEB and the dam safety authorities had no choice other than opening all the dams. And you know what happened in the next 5 days in Kerala. Half Kerala went inside water. And you will be amused to know what was his reaction when he opened the dams finally. He said “I am feeling happy when I see the dam is full under my rule and at the same time I am too worried that we are flowing out the water from the dams which we would have used to make electricity”. This was his words immediately after opening the dams. Its Surprising that, a minister of the state don’t know the range of calamity that can happen when all the dams are opened at the same time to populated areas where people living?

And today during the second week of September, he made a statement which was an abuse and mockery to the entire population of Kerala. He said, When it is flooding quiet a lot of people will die and lot of people will survive, its natural. Do you agree with these words from a Minister who is primarily answerable for the floods happened in Kerala? Can you believe a minister of the state said the above words? Will this be the reaction of the media if some minister from some other state said the same?

Demand probe and inquiry:

The National Disaster Management Authority should conduct an expert panel inquiry with regard to the policy and protocol violation in opening the dams during heavy rains which caused the worst calamity of the century in Kerala. The early warning signals and the opinions of the experts were completely dropped out. No necessary care was taken by the government authorities to evacuate and inform the people living in the catchment area of the connected rivers before opening the dams. The culprits who flooded the state, killed hundreds of people and made loss to assets worth crores should be brought in front and give model punishment for not performing their duties. The PMO should intervene in this mass murder and issue an order for scientific expert panel probe in this issue.

NaMo Harate: A novel approach to spread awareness about Narendra Modi government’s achievements

0

Last Saturday, on 29th September, NaMo Bharath had organized unique event to highlight the achievements of four years of Narendra Modi’s government. The event was organized in NMKRV college in Bangalore. The format of the event dubbed as “NaMo Harate” was unique in its conceptualization.

The noted participants of the event

Led by Hiremagaluru Kannan, noted litterateur, priest, writer, television personality and radio jockey. The format was modeled on “ಹರಟೆ” or Chat where panel members have free-wheeling discussions on the topic at hand. The moderator has to skillfully ensure that the discussion does not veer off without breaking the flow of chat. This is the defining feature that differentiates from your regular debates and discussions. While this format has been popularly used in Kannada medium on other occasions, this is the first time it is being used for campaign purposes with political messaging.

The panel on Saturday, included Giridhar Upadhyay (@antisickular) Managing committee member ‘THE MYTHIC SOCIETY’ and President of ‘MANTHANA’, Shakuntala Iyer (@shakkuiyer), Well know Social activist and Modi supporter and young thinkers Akshatha Bajpe (@Akshathamlr) and Shreyank Ranade (@ShreyankaRanade).

Topic of the “ಹರಟೆ” or Chat was to discuss four years of Modi government. The speakers brought out from their personal experience what they felt were the issues or achievements that touched their hearts. There was a balance between elocution of personal emotional experience and fact based articulation of Modi government achievements.

The event with spectacular success

Giridhar Upadhyay highlighted on Modi government’s strict vigilance on foreign funding to NGOs and explained how the present NPA crisis is an outcome of the bad governance during the previous UPA regime. Akshatha Bajpe brought out personal experiences from Rural Karnataka with regards to empowerment of women from schemes such as Toilet building under Swatcha Bharatha, LPG connection under Ujwala Scheme. Shakuntala Iyer highlighted how Modi government has consistently invested in improving the overall health condition of the poorer masses. Whether through schemes targeted towards expectant mothers, immunization for new born children or reduction in medical expenses through Jan Aushadhi stores, capping of stent prices.

Finally touching upon on how “Ayushman Bharath” will be trans-formative to a vast Indian population in reducing medical expenses and preventing people falling back to poverty. Shreyank detailed out the road-map of Modi government towards infrastructure development whether they be national highways, railways or digital infrastructure push. He highlighted how Mudra, Start-up India, Skill India and other schemes are working towards solving for employment. Though these have fallen short till date, it is expected to bear fruit in the future.

One common lament among all the panelists was the loss to India with the defeat of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2004. Vajpayee used to think with his heart, which led to being taken advantage by opponents. Thus the common appeal to the audience was to ensure that 2019 is not a repeat of 2004. Hiremagaluru Kannan skillfully navigated the chat from one topic to another, from one panelist to another using limericks, humorous quotes, rhymes and puns. The audience was kept entertained and captivated with the discussion at hand.

The event was well attended with an estimated audience of 1,000+ from various parts of Bangalore. The audience included mix of citizens across gender and age groups. The event was live streamed on Facebook reaching out to a 1,00,000+ audiences with viewership of 20,000+. The event was well received with multiple requests to conduct similar programs across Karnataka.

Note: NaMo Bharath is newly formed organization of volunteers who aim to work in support of Narendra Modi in Karnataka. The aim is to mobilize volunteers across Karnataka in order to help Modi win 28/28 seats in Karnataka thus contributing to BJP’s Mission 365+. It is an independent and self-funded organization comprising mostly of young professionals and students.

The Prime Minister revived and re-invoked Gandhi’s vision into action while the ‘Gandhi dynasty’ forgot the real Gandhi

0

When we celebrate 125th birth day anniversary of Gandhiji and upholds the ideals of the father of our nation, we are equally duty bound to thank PM Modi for his tireless efforts to revive and re-invoke the value systems of Gandhiji for developing India and achieve Sab ka vikas.

Here are some striking similarities between the two.

Gandhiji worked for the nation and not for his family or dynasty and so is PM Modi who has dedicated his entire life for our nation. Gandhiji envisaged the vision of clean India which Narendra Modi has commissioned it in letter and spirit as soon as he assumed the office of Prime Minister of India. Gandhiji promoted the idea of Indian life style and Swadeshi concepts which the PM is actualizing through promoting Khadi and Make in India mission. Gandhi was an ardent Ram devotee so is PM Modi who endures several penances to build temple for Lord Ram at Ayothya, the birth place of Ram.

Gandhiji envisaged Ram Rajya which PM Modi is actualizing through his corruption free governance and spreading the message of sacredness and peace.

When Gandhi was discriminated and treated badly by the white skinned men in South Africa, he endured the ill-treatment and never cursed or hated them so is Modi who is been constantly abused by white skinned fully or half foreigner turned Indians, Modi just smiles at them with grace.

Gandhi did observe fasting on several auspicious days to ensure mind-body balance is achieved and so does Modi who observes strict fasting on several auspicious days and promote the same philosophy for the universal betterment in the name of YOGA.

Gandhiji wished to wipe every tear from every eye which PM Modi has really achieved by providing cooking gas connection to poor people, sanitation facility, drinking water facility, employment creation, medical insurance, bank account for direct transfer of the benefit etc.

When India celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi, the soul of Gandhiji will certainly be proud of one man in India called Narendra Modi for implementing most of the Gandhian thoughts and philosophies for building New India.

Gandhiji believed in power to serve the poor and that is why he said to the world that customer is the king. Modi has proved what Gandhiji has said. Modiji used his office for the development of India and achieve sab ka vikas and not for developing his family, establish his dynasty or to loot public money.

Gandhiji reformed India thorough the philosophy of tolerance and non-violence. Narendra Modi reformed India through good governance.

On the contrary those who carry ‘Gandhi’ to their surname appear to have forgotten Gandhi until Modi re-invoke Gandhian philosophy. Those Gandhis were so busy to establish the coterie to protect their dynasty, to install the dynast as the president of the party, conquer India in the name of their grandfather etc.

In true sense those Gandhis were also thinking nothing but about Gandhis only but the only difference was not about the real Gandhi, the father of our nation. Further these Gandhis smartly made their coterie to think and praise only them- the Gandhi dynasty and suitably rewarded all of them as well. The only difference is it was not about the Gandhiji, the father of our nation.

Thus PM Modi has earned the title a true Gandhian through strict adherence to the principles and by practice and not through public display on Gandhi jayanthi.
