When will the ‘right’ rise against bloodshed?

0

We live in a democracy where all citizens can ideally practice freedom of political thought and opinion. Yet the country has been witnessing rampage that ends in spilling blood in the name of clashing political ideologies. A number of slain bodies found this month, were hacked to death for expressing a political opinion that is detested by the left-centric parties.

On 21st October, Sankari Bagdi a BJP worker was murdered by TMC goons in Birbhum district. The 47 year old lady was shot dead as BJP was gaining popularity in the village and that upset the TMC (which TMC claims was not associated with BJP). Earlier this month, on October 8th Chaudhary Yashpal Singh former vice-president BJP Yuva morcha of deoband district was shot by unknown assailants. Followed by the death of BJP leader Dhara Singh in the same district on October 12th.

Kamlesh Tiwari, the Hindu Samaj Party leader was murdered on October 18th when the assailants came to meet him at his home in Naka Hindola area in Lucknow. The two Islamists had stabbed him 15 times in the upper part of the body from jaws to the chest. Rising intolerance among the liberal ecosystem has resulted in an ugly trail of bloodshed and calls for definitive action amid the alarming situation in order to curb political violence.

What the ‘right’ has done so far is questioned liberals for not outraging against the extremity of violence in Kamlesh Tiwari’s murder, the way they demanded justice for Tabrez Ansari. Questioned mainstream media for advising them to not incorporate a political angle in his murder, even when beef was intentionally linked in the Junaid khan train incident. Asked the Yogi Adityanath government to give Kamlesh Tiwari a state funeral, while mentioning the 21 gun salute given to Gauri Lankesh after her death. And at last expected Mahua Moitra to speak against the constituency she represents ‘West Bengal’, the state which has been actively violating every norm of democratic functioning, killing political opponents.

But when will this roar result into an action oriented step taken by the centre, the union government to protect an individual’s right to express his/her political and ideological interest?

Seeking reports on the murders of BJP workers and leaders associated with right leaning organizations, we expect BJP to use its central powers to prevent politically motivated killings and influence the political discourse expressing concerns over the casualties. To propose a solution across the country, with its prompt intervention by deploying central forces, ensuring peace and not pause in a state of restraint when its own men are being attacked.

By constituting teams and appointing committees that summon state police to prioritize prevention of political unrest and fomented murders. Remembering the bloodshed in Kannur district in Kerala when a horrendous show down between CPI(M) and BJP apprised the center of the urgent need for precautionary action to curb bloodshed in 2008. People on the ‘right’ standing up for the Hindu cause, expect the government they voted in, to provide a shield for freely expressing political thoughts that do not align with the leftist (pseudo-liberal) ideology.

D Diwali of Indiana Zones

0

I admit, I am from one of the most polluted zones in the world.
I admit, I am from a third class (read – world, for – class) zone.
I admit, I am from Indiana Zones..

..but, I am an Indiana.
I love my Diwali.

Diwali is not a festival for Indianas. It is an emotion. An emotion which binds one of the most complex zones of this world. Indians do not speak the same language in their zone (in fact, they do not have a zonal language), they do not eat the same (they usually eat each other), they do not share gods, they are largely biased in their outlook towards each other and the list goes on and on but mind you, they share emotions. You play around with Diwali, you play around with them. Please do not play with or play the fool. They are not fools. They are just a highly emotional set of animals.

Did I forget to introduce myself before sucking you into my world? See, I just said we are highly emotional. Never mind, nobody’s perfect.

Do you remember the old story that starts with ‘A for Ass’?
Well, I am the one and here`s the story.

I am an ass and I live in a jungle called Indiana Zones. We are one of the oldest animal kingdoms of this world. We were a land of milk and honey till one day a gentle human called Indiana Jones came calling. You would now know why is our land called Indiana Zones. It was his call. More about that later. Coming back to the elephant in my jungle or rather, elephant in the room.

In the zone of pollution, why is Diwali the fall guy?

Being a donkey, I would not know much, but the way I look at it, pollution is defined as the price for development. Indiana Zones is working hard, since 73 years only, to graduate from the third world tag to at least two-and-a-half-world. Controlling pollution is one of the key index but then the first world zones do not ban a few hours of fireworks, as a measure to curb pollution. There are developed zones called US of Animals, Mandarin (duck) land and The Wolf land etc where firecrackers are synonymous to celebrations. These zones fight pollution as well but they fight where it matters. They are smarter and rightly deserve to be called the first world zone. Let`s mine some data.

As per Zones Health Organisation (ZHO) there are five major sources of pollution – industrial, residential (cooking on coal, wood etc), fuel (generators etc), vehicles and agricultural waste. As per Kharvard University, stubble burning increases air pollution, in the capital of Indiana Zones, by around 50% in winter season. As per Indiana Zones Pollution Control Board (IZPCB), Diwali is not a significant pollutant and the contributors of air pollutants in our land are vehicles (72%), industry (20%) and domestic (8%). This year, Indiana Zones passed 6 billion bucks for stubble burning management. This can be construed as passing the buck or paying up our bucks like antelopes.

Picking up the biggest festival of Indiana Zones, amongst all reasons of pollution, is bizarre. There are plenty more fish in the sea, as Belly Bear says. Increase animal transport and control vehicle emissions, close brick kilns and fuel generators in polluted areas, create animal awareness etc. But, you would not go for it. Know why? Simply because it is all about the path of least resistance. In a land known for its culture, Indianas would not unite for a cultural festival but they would protest, if their amenities are impacted. But then, does a few hours of fireworks impact the pollution graph? Well, the data does not say so. So, what’s the point, my lion king?

Pollution is like love. It is not in the air, it is in the heart; deep within us. The attitude of Indianas needs a change, too. Psychology says behaviour can be changed, not the attitude. Even if behaviour changes, to begin with, it would matter to Indiana Zones. I told the same to Virginia Vulture and to that selfish Serpent, Sswarthhi. Their lack of awareness, love for convenience and self-serving attitude was costing the whole of Indiana Zones and its future. Why deprive our younsters, the future of Indiana Zones, of their culture? DiwAli without firecrackers is like MdAli without the punch. Let there be light, I mean let there be Diwali but they dissed and dismissed me. I ran to Dear Deer and saved my life (so that they target him, not me).

I know you would be wondering what have animals got to do with Diwali. Animals dread fire, they don’t cook, they don’t drive, they don’t run industries, then why on earth are they bothered? You see darlings, all humans are animals. Albeit with two legs. They come from us, they exhibit our traits, they eat each other, they are territorial, they are deceptive, they are more dangerous than loveable, blah, blah, blah. Yes, we can not smile like humans and they can not be content with life like us. But we share the circle of life, we share pollution. They are us, we are them.

Anyways, to hell with humans.

Meanwhile, in want of Diwali, I am gonna take my foals and family to a movie this festive season. A movie called “Django Chained”. Quite coincidental, isn’t it? Our Diwali is like Django. The ‘D’ is silent.

Disclaimer: If you perceive, this is about the most popular festival of Hinduism or India and  Indianas are Indians, US of Animals is USA, Mandarin (duck) land is China, The Wolf land is Italy and if you wish to apply analogy and metaphors to this story, remember that what I see as 9 may be 6 to you. Happy Diwali!

Obituary of lie, hate and negative politics of DMK in TN has come with the victory of AIADMK

0

The massive victory of AIADMK candidates in both assembly constituencies such Vikravandi and Nanguneri in Tamil Nadu has put an end to the politics of lie, negativity, hatred and anti-Modi rhetoric of DMK and its associates. Both the constituencies were belonged to DMK and Congress in the last assembly election and hence the victory of AIADMK is far more stupendous as AIDMK has snatched the victory from DMK alliance.

DMK with its media, money and muscle might has been successfully doing politics of negativity and lie against Modi and scaring the minority community till the last election to the parliamentary constituency in Vellore but people of TN have started to realize that DMK is doing such negative politics only to establish and bring back its dynasty politics to power and not for the people of the state.  Close to 60% vote AIADMK has secured in the recent by-poll by pushing DMK alliance to mere 36% of vote share.  The hidden aspect of the big game is that congress has performed better than DMK.

Truth alone triumph, lie cannot live any longer, dharma and honesty cannot be disfigured by negativity and evil designs, all those Hindu sayings have come true with the recent by-poll election result.

DMK and its affiliates cleverly crafted a narrative against Modi and to some extent brain washed the people for its electoral gains.   Stalin at one end opposes Brahmins and simultaneously promoted a self-acclaimed Brahmin, Shiv Bhakt Raghul Gandhi as the prime minister candidate of India and which, even the congress party did not dare to do. Every issue like Sterilite, Methane extraction, NEET etc., which were initiated by DMK and congress, but DMK cleverly accused Modi to the prime cause for all such initiatives which were against Tamil people. Initially some people in TN believed the DMK and later realized that by supporting DMK, the state can only travel backward and never progress with the exception that the dynasty politics of DMK alone prosper and become powerful.

The vision of MGR, Amma and Chief Minister-ship of EPS with the continuous guidance of Modi and other alliance parties alone can save the state and develop and not the family politics. In the name of social justice, caste prejudice and caste based politics is only happening and MGR and Amma were the true leaders of social justice like how Modi is the messiah of sab ka vikas. Modi wants India and Indians to develop but the dynastic parties want their family to develop.

The recent defeat of DMK and congress in TN is not defeat but victory for congress party and VCK. Stalin is just an ordinary DMK cadre and does not have any leadership charisma or political acumen like Karunanidhi and thanks the party built by Anna and Stalin being the son of Karunanidhi could head the party.

DMK today appears like a headless roach.

VCK and congress can really flex their muscle and can tame DMK. The next assembly election is going to be a do or die battle for DMK. If DMK loses that would be an end of DMK and hence DMK would be ready to make any compromise and sacrifice with its alliance partners to come back to power. Therefore if VCK and congress ever wants to grow and become more relevant and significant must psychologically attack DMK from now on and must place their demand in power. As a part of social justice, even the demand of rotational chief minister-ship to VCK and a person from Vanniyar community etc., also they must place. If VCK and congress party ever allow DMK or Stalin to become strong that would be end of their political growth. DMK need alliance and not the alliance parties therefore limit the size of DMK and propose coalition government headed by VCK or a person from different communities to ensure social justice.

Hope DMK would end hate politics and politics of negativity, lies, anti-God, anti-Hindu, anti-Hindi and anti-Modi sloganeering.

Trails of democracy (Kashmir story)

0

From Kalhan’s Rajatarangini talking about Kings of Kashmir to the last ruling King of Dogra dynasty, Kashmir took a long path to democracy. The King signed the Instrument of Accession on October 26, 1947 officially merging his territory with India, so does the other 552 dynasties. Democracy remained elusive leaving some trails down the way.

The Transition

Sher-e-Kashmir as they say about Sheikh Abdullah was at forefront to lead Kashmir to realise its dream, or it was hoped he would. The same leader along with common people stood with Indian Army against raiders from Pakistan who looted, raped and killed Kashmiris in 1947. Ambition has its own ways in life. A close friend and confidante of PM Nehru, then treaded a different path from Jamuriyat (democracy) to Kashmiriyat.  Kashmir Conspiracy Case led to the removal of Sheikh Abdullah as PM of Jammu & Kashmir and his subsequent detention for around 11 years. (Britannica)

But Kashmiriyat for decades then, will remain feeding ground for political dynasties to manipulate Jamuriyat. The third most important word in Kashmir story is Insaniyat, which died a violent death when Lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits were forced out of their own land and several others killed, giving light to more exclusive nature of a religious movement which was shaded under Kashmiriyat and Indian Elite Secularism. This incident was preceded by rigging of elections in 1987, which itself is a different story and turning point of J&K’s polity, but still can’t justify the horror and tragedy faced by its people. Article 370 of Indian constitution remained bedrock of all these special and exclusive Kashmir Story.

Asymmetric Federalism

Article 370 for Jammu & Kashmir was one amongst other specially privileged regions e.g. Article 371, Schedule V & VI etc. These distinct features provide asymmetry to Indian federalism. Asymmetry signifies ‘special’ treatment to various states to suit their own need of culture, history, geography and demography. In case of J&K, ‘special status’ was being misconstrued as ‘separate status’ feeding separatists and enemy states. Any change in status quo was a threat to federal structure of India and a threat to democracy. So the question comes what is federal structure of India.

Holding Together Federalism

Article 1 of Indian Constitution describes India, that is, Bharat as a ‘Union of States’ rather than a Federation of States. According to B.R. Ambedkar, it was because Indian Federation is not an agreement among states like American Federation. (Indian Polity -M Laxmikanth)

Article 3 further empowers Union to alter and adjust state boundaries. In this regard, Prior recommendation of President is required, but before that President must refer the same to state legislature concerned for their views. However , President is not bound by the views of state legislature and  may either accept  or reject them. This is one of the most powerful unitary features of Indian Constitution. India is rightly described as ‘an indestructible union of destructible states’. (Indian Polity -M Laxmikanth)

The provision of Article 3 with respect to reorganisation of state with little say of the states though seemingly undemocratic, remains a safeguard to democracy against majoritarianism. If Article 3 was not there, then linguistic rights of Telugu population will be at disposal of Tamil people who were not real to give up their claim on Andhra Pradesh. History again knocked the door when rights and developmental aspirations of people of Telangana region were at disposal of state of Andhra. The Union provides a dynamic equilibrium to all such endogenous forces, keeping sovereignty and territorial integrity at forefront. Jammu & Kashmir has different story where a temporary arrangement made it impervious to such changes. But, the concept of federalism discussed here, does give peek into the minds of our founding fathers and their artistic brilliance i.e Constitution of India. Constitution remains foundation stone for the most cherished ‘Idea of India’.

The Abrogation & Democracy

Abrogation of Article 370 may raise some concern about constitutional morality, and that too with respect to separate constitution of J&K. Terming it one of the most undemocratic steps in history of India is unjustified, coloured with shades of convenient truth to suit their narratives. This is because subjective representation of ‘Will of people’. Some section of scholar represent it as Hindu majoritarianism subjugating will of people of Kashmir. This definition of ‘Will of people’ has wilful bias in looking to the situation with the prism of Kashmir as Islam.

In representative democracy, will of people is represented through electoral process. There are misconceptions being spread that J&K has least participation in electoral process where people, by and large boycott elections. This is true for a very small region of Kashmir Valley, where there is trust deficit of people even with local leadership. But we cannot afford to look J&K with such narrow prism, as J&K also comprises of Ladakh and Jammu region in its fold which is being often ignored by our storytellers. People’s will of these regions don’t count in their story.

Let us have a look at 17th Loksabha’s result with respect to Jammu & Kashmir to understand where democracy stands in procedural aspect. When you search for voting percentage on J&K in Google, you will be flooded with news results of dismal voting just because Anantnag and Baramulla didn’t vote well. These regions being hotbed of extremists, suffers from threat and fear apart from trust deficit. Voting percentage on the other hand for Jammu constituency stands at 72.19%, Udhampur at 70.9 % and Ladakh at 71.08%. BJP fought and won all these three Loksabha seats with high margins and vote share of 46.39% in J&K.  These are equivalent and many times higher values when compared to other constituencies of India. Where as, Parties who claims to be voice of J&K couldn’t even cater around 15% votes. Thus BJP does have claim as a democratic stakeholder in abrogation of Article 370. This justification comes from procedural aspect of electoral democracy which is well founded. (Reference: results.eci.gov.in)

The Abstract Democracy

Scholars refute electoral process as test of democracy. Real democracy is being referred under the principle of constitutionalism which represents limited government, rights of individual and check on majoritarianism. J&K never passed the test of real democracy. J&K represented exclusive idea of democracy where rights of women, Valmiki Community, settled  descendants of Gorkhas, Settled refugees etc. were wilfully hampered at the cost of muslim majoritarianism without much check on government due to shield of Article 370. (Said in context of Hurriyat as the main stakeholder and only emphasis on talks with Hurriyat to solve kashmir Issue) Hindu community of Jammu region, Kashmiri pandits and Buddhist community were never part of dialogue process in Kashmir issue. Some scholars blame Hindu majoritarianism but look away when the perspective of Muslim majoritarianism is showcased.

Even in economic development terms, J&K despite receiving 4-5 time more funds per capita with respect to other states shows a laggard development indicators with near zero accountability to people or any institutions. Most of the acts and institutions such as RTI, RTE, CVC etc are not applicable to this region. J&K remained at low points in attracting investment and create jobs for its youth. Regional inequity was perfectly summarised by Sonam Wangchuk in an interview that if Kashmir has a headache then even Ladakh has to take headache pills even if there is a stomachache.

Will of people in case of Kashmir is thus subject to convenient truth and subjective representation. Some human rights activists do not count most of the minorities of this region as non human or non existent, and they fight for will of people where only a section of population is part of it. They either wilfully or in hate of ruling dispensation, become a cheerleaders of majoritarian democracy in disguise flourishing there. Therefore, the test of democracy doesn’t lie on turning a blind eye, but by safeguarding rights of individuals and religious & ethnic minorities. This time, Union government has passed the test.

Understanding deposit insurance in case of bank liquidation

0

As per available information after Madhavpura Mercantile Co-operative Bank went into liquidation in the year 2012, cases of bank depositors’ whose outstanding deposits were over one lac, were not yet settled by DICGC.

After the crisis in Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank as well as in Pune headquartered Shivajirao Bhosale Cooperative Bank, it is necessary for every one depositing money with any bank must know that settlement of claims starts only after the bank is de-licensed and declared to be liquidated. Bank deposits of every licensed bank are protected up to Rs 1 lac through Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) under the scheme of “Deposit Insurance”.

Now if depositor adopts systemic method described hereunder, through proper planning, can legitimately maximize insurance cover amount i.e. over and above one Lac. Please note that if you open many deposit accounts by placing your name as the first depositor and joint with others in slightly different sequence then these deposits will be considered as held under different capacity and different rights. For better understanding of readers, I may state that first deposit a/c may bear your single name, whereas the second a/c could be joint with your wife and similarly in the third joint with your son and the fourth joint account with your daughter, then in the fifth with you along with your wife and son.

Each such deposit could be of Rs.1 lac. In that case all these five accounts will be considered separately for deposit insurance cover Rs. 1 lac each in all such cases. For the purposes of claim all these five deposits will be considered under different capacity and different rights. The above method will fetch you Rs. five lacs in the even bank goes into liquidation i.e. one lac against every a/c Under Deposit Insurance scheme. Similarly, if you choose to deposit more than five lakhs, then may expand/tinker the sequence of joint depositors, i.e. the a/c with two/three joint holders altering their sequence while keeping your first name intact (as first holder).

For example after above five a/cs, sixth a/c can bear your son as second holder and wife as third holder. Similarly in seventh a/c wife will join as second joint holder and daughter as the third holder. In this way, you can create ten/twelve accounts with four/five family members. If you have no issues with first named depositor (due to higher rate of interest) and to move to position two or otherwise (from Income Tax angle etc) many such combinations can be made. You may also note that a reverse combination: A&B, as well as B&A, would be treated as different, as both accounts are under different capacity and different rights and qualify for separate eligibility cover of Rs.1 lac. In this context, please refer to the booklet of Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (D.I.C.G.C.) and then go thru FAQ number 10 (reply provides very exhaustive information with examples) using the line below. The example confirms what has been stated above.

The link to  http://www.dicgc.org.in/FD_FAQs.html

Please note that Reserve Bank is trying its best to handle both the above banks so that depositors’ interest may get protected to a major extent. One needs to have enough liquidity with oneself to meet any unforeseen emergency besides converting your deposits in planned manner as discussed above by adopting the above mentioned legal method so that in a situation of liquidation you get enough financial protection to your funds from “Deposit Insurance” offered by DICGC.

I take this opportunity to urge Government and RBI to increase the  Deposit Insurance cover from one lac to ten lacs from a pre-announced date. Finally I reiterate, there is a need to spread awareness among depositors community and the common public so that could secure the money to large extent.

India waits for Ramjanma Bhoomi verdict- For a litigation as old as India as a republic

The Supreme Court asked both ‘Hindu and Muslim parties, to specify the time-frame for completing arguments in the politically sensitive Ram Janmabhomi – Babri Masjid land dispute case and said there will not be any extra day for hearing after October 18. It will be miraculous if we deliver the judgement in four weeks in the matter,” said Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, on Aug,6, 2019, when the hearings commenced, who is set to retire on November 17,

True to his form and style ,Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, to his everlasting credit, literally browbeat and disciplined the contesting sides and their attorneys to ensure conclusion of oral arguments on 16th Oct,2019. The 5 Judges Bench has permitted ‘all contesting parties to file their written submissions confining it to the moulding of reliefs as prayed for in the suits, as granted by the Allahabad High Court, as contested in the first appeals before the Supreme Court”.

It is an unbelievable development of epic proportions.  By Nov,17,2019, we may yet have the miracle that Chief Justice wondered aloud, Ram/Rahim willing. On the concluding day of Supreme Court hearing, on 16th Oct,2019, the News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) issued an advisory – “do not speculate on court proceedings; ascertain facts of hearing; do not use mosque demolition footage; do not broadcast any celebrations; and ensure no extreme views are aired in debates.”.

Falling in line, with this advisory, as a contributor to  a responsible media house, let us confine ourselves to where it all began and why it may be possibly be THE epochal and seminal verdict in India’s judicial, political, societal firmament. Keshavanand Bharati, by which a 13 Judge’s Bench read ‘Basic Structure doctrine into the Constitution, to  restrain Parliament from exercising unimpeded powers to amend the mother of laws’ of 24th Aoril,1973 vintage,  may come close, but still nowhere near this verdict. That was a verdict ‘That Saved India as a Constitutional Democracy” as Nani Palkhivala, the courtroom genius who argued the proposition into history books said. Ramjanbhabhoomi verdict and its universal acceptance by us, would let India become a  ‘nation of laws not men’ as Sardar Patel dreamt.

India had its eyes and ears to the 40 days hearings’ before the top court.  It was a fascinating journey. The upsides and downsides based on the ‘posers from the bench’,were a rollercoaster ride.  A battery of lawyers on both sides of the aisle, were arrayed to argue. The “Hindu Side’ (not my name calling but what  has been freely used in media)  was led by the Pithamaha of Bar- Mr. K. Parasaran, all of 92 years, well into retirement, but ‘came back to argue for his respect and reverence for Lord Ram of Ayodhya’, as he put it. Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi made an unusual offer to Parasaran  representing Ramlalla, the infant deity, “Do you want to sit and argue?” it asked.

“It’s okay. Your Lordships are too kind. The tradition of the Bar has been to stand and argue, and I am concerned about the tradition,” he replied. That exchange captured the man.In the course of hearing Mr. Parasaran expressed a desire, “Milords I have seen it all  from India’s Independence, Republic, birth of the Constitution, its growth and assertion. Now, it is my sincere hope to have a verdict in Ramajanmabhoomi case in my lifetime”. Those who heard him that day vouch, his eyes were moist and voice  choked  with emotion, even as he held himself back, with all his experience.

The “Muslim Side’ (again borrowed usage please) was led by Rajeev Dhavan, the stormy petrel, all of 73 years, with all the emotion, conviction and passion at his command. He always brings to the table his ‘involvement in the cause of his dear client’- as he once put it. The exchanges in court were enlivened by his ‘hot and disdainful responses’ as his colleague was quoted in the Media. Prof, N. Shanmugham from Tamil Nadu, ‘apologised to Supreme Court after threatening Rajeev Dhavan for appearing for Muslim Parties’ in a contempt proceeding.

In his typical and abrasive style, Rajeev Dhavan asked the court, “I have noticed something very interesting during this hearing. All your questions have been directed towards me and not them. Perhaps your Lordships could have asked them some questions too,” The Court however ignored the remark, and said that he will have to answer all questions that are directed at him .Senior advocate C.S. Vaidyanathan, who  appeared  for deity Ram Lalla, objected to the comment and said it was  an “unwarranted statement”. Dhavan shot back saying, “It is not unwarranted. I’m bound to answer all questions but why are all questions directed at us?”.There was no dearth of drama.

It was not finished yet. It continued to the last and 40th day as well. When a Senior Advocate representing the “Hindu Side” submitted a map showing the Ram Janmasthan, not part of the record,  and offered a copy to Rajeev Dhavan, the response was instant and electric. “May I have your Lordhships’ permission to tear this document…this is Supreme Court and not a joke.” And he tore the document  into pieces.CJI Ranjan Gogoi was not amused and expressed anguish at the state of affairs inside the courtroom and said: “As far as we are concerned the arguments are over.  We cannot continue like this in the hearing. People are getting up and speaking out of turn. We can also get up right now and finish the proceedings in the matter,” he said .It was a virtual cauldron of extreme emotions.  The pregnant proceedings wound up on 16th Oct,2019, at 17.00 hrs  as- ‘Orders Reserved”.

Contemporaneously, reports have emerged that the 3 member Mediation Committee has indicated on a possible ‘Settlement”- with the Sunni Waqf Board giving up on the Janmasthan in lieu of no further forays as over  Kashi Vishwanathar and Mathura Krishna shrines. Interesting development ( to be  fair, denied as true by 5 SC Advocates’ who argued for the Muslim Side) , yet unlikely to find favour with the “Hindu side”, considering the ‘direction of wind revealed in the exchanges during the proceedings’ as Justice Antonin Scalia euphemistically put it.

Twitter led the social media platforms with reports on the culmination of the hearings and sported a photograph of nonagenarian Parasaran and Rajeev Dhavan, in a friendly embrace outside the precincts of the imposing Supreme Court of India.  A  lasting image for posterity,  as we wait with bated breath.

One is reminded of the opening lines in the judgment of Justice S.U; Khan, Allahabad High Court, now under challenge. “Here is a small piece of land (1500 square yards) where angels fear to tread. It is full of innumerable land mines. We are required to clear it…. We have succeeded or failed? No one can be a judge in his own cause.”

Chief Justice Gogoi, took a page out of Justice Khan’s book, for gumption and courage of conviction, as India awaits. It was his call as the Master of Roster. No matter what the verdict is , let us all pray to Ram/Rahim, for a ‘miracle’ – everlasting peace, harmony in ‘sovereign, socialist, secular,  democratic India’, as in our Constitution’s Preamble.

Bollywood promoting Islamic Jihadist terrorism

0

From Mughal-e-Azam to Haider Bollywood always worked on a special agenda to fill tolerance in Hindu minds with fake narrative.

Recently Republic TV exposed links between Bollywood and D-Company. The problem with most people is that if they do not see red handed bribe they won’t believe that disproportionate assets were built through corruption.

Is connection of terrorist funding and Bollywood only since 1990s? Agenda was always played to create a fake narrative, let us try to examine.

There was a film named Mughal-e-Azam which showed true love of Jehangir and Anarkali and Akbar shown as adamant father. Have you ever seen this love story described in school book or university.

The rape culture and harem system of Mughal got a crafty makeover of true love. Remember that, Nurjahan was 20th wife of Jehangir. Maybe Akbar would not mind to have Anarkali as wife or concubine of before or after Anarkali.

Mainstream historians in past wrote the word ‘Imperial’ before Gupta and Chola dynasty. They never used the word ‘Imperial’ or ‘Invader’ for Khilji or Mughal.

There was systematic attempt and even successful attempt by Bollywood to make Urdu words common in day-to-day language. It was a form of cultural onslaught on native Hindus. Speaking Hindi closer to Sanskrit was ridiculed and Urdu shayari was glorified.

Again there was a film named Sholay. In this film village remains silent when family of honest police officer gets butchered. But whole villae gets angry when a Muslim youth is murdered.

Everyone knows how Aamir Khan’s movies Pk was Anti-Hindu. Maybe many typical Hindu are taught to criticize their own beliefs but not hurting others.

Movie “Sanju” is purely a successful attempt by RajKumar Hirani & Vidu Vinod Chopra in whitewashing the image of notorious Sanjay Dutt.

Rajkumar Hirani who is an infamous Hinduphobic, very carefully removed the involvement of Dawood Ibrahim in Mumbai bomb blasts.

In the movie, he showed Sanjay Dutt gets in touch with some Hindu underworld gangsters and finally got involved in crime of keeping the AK 56.

A movie like Haider was created to justify Islamic terrorism of Kashmir. Bollywood and so called intellectuals never talk why mosque loudspeakers forced Hindus to leave Kashmir valley. In my view Indian Govt and Army are still too sympathetic towards Jihadist elements. They receive many educational coaching classes for free and free tour of India.

Muslims wont forget the actor, the director and producer who made anti Islamic film. Hindus quickly forget and watch the next movie of same actor and director.

TRS leads in Huzurnagar by-election

0

The TRS has made inroads in Huzurnagar, which has been a baston for the Congress since 2009.

With the Exit -polls coming to pass, the pink party is leading in the Huzurnagar by-election. While the congress is on its way to lose  one more MLA seat to TRS.

TRS candidate Mr Saidi Reddy was leading by 18,682 votes by 10th round. The counting for Nereducharla, Palakaveedu and Mathampalli mandals has been completed and TRS recorded majority votes. TRS has been maintaining lead in every round so far till the 10th round.

Meanwhile, 11 candidates complained to the returning officer demanding for counting VV Pat slips.

The counting, on Thursday  began at 8pm and the TRS has been leading in every round.  Mr Saidi Reddy  has earlier forecasts 50,000 majority saying Huzurnagar people realized about Congress failure in developing the constituency.

“People’s trust in the TRS introduced welfare schemes, development activity of party and commitment of the Chief Minister Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao paved the way for the party win in Huzurnagar constituency. The Congress and BJP have got their answers.  The confidence of people in KCR ruling is clearly visible as our party is leading in every round and every booth-wise also. I am confident of majority over 50,000 votes. We get clear lead in all the seven mandals in Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. Huzurnagar people realized that the constituency had been lagging in development because of Congress MLA. That’s the reason they decided to elect TRS,” said Mr Saidi Reddy.

The assembly constituency for the first time since 2009 has voted in large numbers for a non Congress candidate.

TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy won from  Huzurnagar Assembly  in 2009, 2014 and 2018 .

The officials of the election commission – Telangana state are likely to released the result by Thursday afternoon.

Jagmeet Singh Election
