Brahmins- Indian version of Jews

0

So what is the most approachable way to defeat a huge army when you don’t have enough men to counter them? Simple answer unroot the core, kill the king and whole army will surrender. That is what Akbar did when he faced Hem Chandra Vikramaditya (Hemu) in the Battle of Tughlaqabad. And we know after that how Mughal rulers expand from there.

Every class can somehow undergo the attack but it’s impossible to withstand if they cut them from their past, their culture.

The one’s who were always the core of our society, always the one leading it from the front are facing huge challenges. But the sad reality is that this Brahmins are not only facing harshness in present times but in ancient times also. Every attacker who raided India{Akhand Bharat at that time} specially targeted the core of our society that is the Brahmins. From Delhi Sultanate to the Mughal empire we can see a large number of examples.

The Great Pushyamitra Shunga with his army going on a war

British Empire were not an inch less in doing this, they came out more evil than their previous invaders. They not only attacked Brahmins but also manipulate the writings and try their level best to portray the Brahmins as the sinister of the society. And we are seeing all the hatred towards Brahmins all because of this manipulation done by different invaders, which they do to rule here.

If we talk about modern times, from being the deprived section of society not even getting the full advantages of reservation to getting falsely labeled under SC/ST act {one recent example is of Vishnu Tiwari Ji who spent their prominent 20 years of life after getting falsely booked for SC/ST act} , there are several examples.

We can see there are huge outrage and protest for the oppression faced by Jews from not only the west but from Asia side also, but a pin drop silence on this, even they have faced this for centuries and centuries long time. Long long Journals are there on Jews Genocide

It’s time to be the voice of the real minority, it’s time to be with the real oppressed one, it’s time to reveal the other  the real side of this case. Either we do this or we will be washed away from our culture our ethnicity in few decades and then there will be no undo option.

Possible export of Tejas Mk1a to Malaysia

0

In this article we will try to see and analyze that can India hope to sell Tejas Mk1a to Malaysia

Before I begin I am again telling you that whether Tejas gets selected and exported is an entirely different sphere but what matters is that we are trying to export it and have engaged different countries in military-diplomatic-geo political channels/dialogues.

A team of Malaysian experts will come to India which will include:

  1. Malaysian Defence experts
  2. Malaysian military planners
  3. Malaysian Air force pilots/officials

The team is expected to come to India in 1–2 months and all the necessary preparations for their arrival have been done. The team will be shown that how a Tejas is made (by film/ppt) how HAL tests Tejas and why this plane has an excellent and the best service record. They will also be briefed about the weapon’s of Tejas Mk1a ( weapons in the comments section)

If we will see some little history then we will come to see that this project to buy some LCA from countries was launched in 2019 and the contenders are:

  1. LCA Tejas Mk1a
  2. JF-17
  3. T-50 golden eagle
  4. Aermacchi MB-346
  5. Yakovlev Yak-130

The current plan is to acquire a total of 12 aircraft with a follow on clause to buy 24 more aircraft’s (from the same company)

According to the defense experts of Malaysia: “Tejas is a better, cheaper and stronger contender than all the plane in the competition. In comparison with Gripen, this plane is cheaper(with no compromise on its spec) while in comparison with JF-17 is much more capable.

TEJAS MK-1A vs JF-17 BLOCK-3 | RECENT upgrades - YouTube

If we compare JF-17 with LCA Tejas Mk1a then we see that Tejas Mk1a is a better option as it is a 4.5th gen plane which is highly unstable and has some stealthiness due to the use of composite material meanwhile JF-17 is an aerodynamically stable plane meaning that it would be able to perform good maneuvers and it lacks RSS (Relaxed Static Stability) making it a 3rd – 3.5th gen plane. Moreover, in recent times Malaysia has some conflicts and troubles/issues with china which is making that evident that Malaysia will not choose a Chinese origin of the plane.

Now, whenever we talk about the exports some people ask 2 things:

  1. Does India have the appropriate infrastructure and production capability to make these jets and fulfil the requirements of IAF as well as an export customer?
  2. Tejas uses an American engine and an Israeli radar and some avionics so will they give permission?

So the answer to the first question is yes because the production capacity which is being built for IAF is of 5 aircraft 1st year then 16 aircraft in 2nd stage and then a final production assembly of 24 aircraft per year for Tejas Mk1a. The GOI had given money to HAL for upgrading its Nashik Plant to make Tejas and this plant can easily make 30 Tejas per year but will not be run on that number till more order come. So for delivering of Tejas to any export customer this plant can be used so there is no need to worry.

The answer to the second question is that people have not read the details properly. If you will read it properly you will come to see that the plane will be of Tejas Mk1a standard and that plane will have a UTTAM AESA radar which is indigenous, the plane will also have an indigenous jamming pod along with indigenous MAWS, IRST sensors.

The ideological effect

0

India, the country with millions of years past culture, tradition and history. Even before Buddha, Mohammad and Jesus appeared, we had the knowledge of Vedas, Upanishads, and the developed cities of Indus valley civilization. From Jambudvipa, Bharatkhanda, Aryavarta, to Bharatvarsha, Hindustan and then back to partitioned India. There had been a long history of it’s sorrows and pangs to powerful victories and valor. Somewhere with a balance of socialism and monarchy India has always been a preceptor of Equality. Although we had different perceptions and opinions but we accepted every opinion with a kind heart. This is what the beauty of our country is. The priceless gem of the global crown.

But from the last century we are facing a tug of war between the society and their thoughts. Most probably from the some decades, that has seen a bifurcation of the society to the two wings of the ideologies, the Left and the Right with their followers as the Leftists and the Rightists, respectively. How come a nation with so vivid culture and tradition that emerges as a nation of ramified unity in diversity, can be bifurcated into two schools of thoughts? But it has been done, specially on the political grounds. The present scenario is built in such a way, that if you express your thoughts and opinions, you will generously be criticised as “BHAKTS”.

For the people who have no idea, this political ideologies are actually simple terms for the seating arrangements of the French Estate General during the time of French Revolution. The nationalism which the Indian “Leftists” blame as Right wing feature was actually the term related to the Left wingers of the French Estate General.

But how come foreign ideals can stimulate us? May be again our “Look East but follow the West” policy. West has a tradition of one language, one philosophy, and one vow, although with different idealogical thoughts. But how come a country with no nationalised language, no common philosophy, no common determination and no common goal at all, can have similar ideologies with them? After all we are diverse not just with the perception and opinions, but in the name of caste, creed, language, culture, clothes, food, tradition, and the most importantly, RELIGION! How can we be the same?

A fascinating thought which I believe is that, “the ideologies are derived from our interests. We follow things in which we are interested and adapt that ideology.” We Indians have the common philosophy of herd movement. Our thoughts are mostly influenced by our family and friends. Our thinking and interests are so vivid that we can have different perceptions for a single subject, offcourse that’s what the beauty of our thoughts are.

People with revolutionary thoughts often compares, following a ideology with slavery and bondage. For them, the ideology is somewhat related to idiocy and insanity.  But as they say, you can love it or hate it but you cannot ignore it. The fact is that this are the true roots of a  democracy which is based upon the thoughts and expressions. Any damage to this can be a way of demolishing the constitutional framework of our democratic nation. And that cannot be accepted!

Privatization: A bane to the “Idea of India”

There has been a great apparent uproar in recent times about the privatization drive being undertaken by the Government of India. Strikes have been called by Unions, Op-eds have been written by intellectuals, studios have been gripped by Darr ka Mahaul and youth leaders have accused the PM of taking the poor peoples’ money and putting it in the pockets of his industrialist friends.

The government’s implicit reasoning is that any entity owned by the government inevitably leads to laziness, inefficiencies and corruption, thus draining the nation of its potential and causing misery overall. There is some truth in this. In order to understand this phenomenon, we need to examine closely the craze and the craving that grips most Indian middle class families: securing a government job.

What is it that makes a government job so lustrous? It has a lot to do with something fundamental and deeply entrenched in the human nature: seeking security. And in today’s time, money is what provides a lot of security to most people, if not to all. And what better way is there to obtain and keep obtaining money month after month, securely, if not a government job? Once you’re selected for a government job, it almost ensures that your life is settled.

And once your life is settled, there simply is no incentive to be innovative, or to have initiative. In fact, these qualities often result in reprimand from the higher-ups and the co-workers. So, even those who are idealistic, patriotic and looking to improve the system, with time the system molds them to be complacent. Complacency results in laziness and the tendency to maintain the status quo. This also brings about the much talked about lack of efficiency of government organizations.

There is another fundamental tenet of human nature which is entrenched deep within the psyche: Greed. Those in the private sector satiate their greed by working hard and trying to bring about innovations, because they are incentivized to be productive and innovative with the carrot of bonuses, promotion based on merit, et al. On the other hand, in government jobs, promotions are generally based on “yes sir” attitudes and by seniority. Bonuses, if any, are generally well distributed among all the employees, and not to only those who did the hard work or brought about the innovations. So, where does this greed find its outlet? In the form of corruption, of course. What easier way to satiate the greed than to earn a few (or a lot of) extra bucks by blocking a file? Those who want to get their work done need to oil (read: chai-paani (read: bribe)) the cogs in the wheels of the government machinery in order for the file to move. And thus, corruption is born and sustained.

Inclusive Institutions vs Extractive Institutions

In their book titled “Why Nations Fail,” American economists Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson have given the beautiful concept of Inclusive Institutions and Extractive Institutions.

Inclusive economic institutions are those which support the material aspirations of the majority of the population. Their features include secure property rights, an unbiased system of law, and a relatively level playing field in which people can exchange and contract, provided by a provision of public services. That the people realize most of the gain from their own efforts is ensured by these institutions. Knowing that they will realize material gains from their efforts, people are encouraged to choose the careers that make the most of their own skills, to get educated and develop the said skills, and to start their own businesses and invest and grow.

Extractive economic institutions are the polar opposite: They steer the economic rewards towards a relatively small elite. These institutions either disincentivize the people from taking economic initiatives, because they know that little of the gain from their efforts will be accrued by themselves. Or they outright cut the peoples’ opportunities to take economic initiatives by a variety of hurdles, including, but not limited to bribery and red-tapism.

The general trend is that government institutions tend to be extractive while private institutions tend to be inclusive.

How is this relevant to India and the Idea of India? The relevance becomes apparent when we think about the consequences of liberalization and privatization of the economy. For the initial 44 years of the existence of the modern state of India (up to 1991) everything was under the government control. Every institution was extractive, thus giving us the ‘Hindu rate of growth’. Some people ask shouldn’t it be called ‘Secular rate of growth’ or ‘Socialist rate of growth’? (Although the words ‘Secular’ and ‘Socialist’ were added to the Indian constitution by way of the 42nd Amendment of the constitution in 1976, the governments of the earlier period already carried out in spirit the tenets of these words as they’re defined in the Indian context.)

Most of the money and wealth was concentrated in the hands of a small elite, who sipped their fine wines and gourmet coffees while criticizing the country and its poverty, and at the same time doing everything possible to keep the country poor.

Post 1991, inclusive institutions began to rear their head, and this resulted in the rapid economic growth that has provided Colour TVs and Cable, Smartphones and internet connectivity, motorcycles and cars and many other material benefits that we see around us.

This resulted in more a self-assured and self-confident middle class which began to ask questions like “Who are we as a civilization? Who are we as individuals? What has our history been? What will our future be?” Now this is hugely problematic for the wine sipping elite, who found that the uncivilized brutes are also learning the proper ways to hold a glass of wine, and talking about this civilization and this nation in a positive way at the same time. Their whole narrative crumbles if they can’t keep the nation poor and unproductive. Only people who are poor and who feel oppressed think about doing revolutions. Hard working and confident people think about improving things, but without painting the roads red. The elite is now finding that there are not many takers for their idea of revolution and people are actually working on making the nation grow, whether consciously or subconsciously, and learning and thinking about their past, present and future at the same time. This doesn’t bode well at all for the Idea of India.

What is the Idea of India?

The idea of India is to balkanize India. Period. If you have even the slightest doubt about it, you’re essentially Arjun in the battlefield just before the battle is about to commence. The only difference is, the battle, no, the war has already been commenced, and it’s been ongoing for a few centuries now. One needs only to open their eyes and see how you’ve been under attack in all sorts of ways. Whether it is blocking of a Dam project, or making fun of a deity in a movie, or instigating Maoist insurgency in natural resource rich states or blocking of infrastructure projects like the Mumbai Metro, the war is always on. It has always been on. Each individual can see with their own experiences, the various ways in which this war is being waged. And how toothless this country feels fighting this war.

Don’t despair.

There’s hope. With the advent of a new generation of leaders who understand the importance of both the Sanatan traditions, as well as the array of modern phenomenon that is taking shape around us, and who also know how to win elections and retain electoral power, there’s hope. Teeth have started to grow. The skin is being pierced and it is causing some discomfort for the time being, but the result in the form of sharp teeth will be satisfactory.

And this, the intellectual elite can’t stand at all. Their narratives are being rejected left, right and center. With every new policy which cuts out the middle men, their funding, and hence their power wanes. With every new person getting employed in a private organization, their power to call people to the streets wanes. These are just two examples. Upon examination, each individual will find hundreds, if not thousands of ways in which the elite have been entrenched everywhere, and are slowly being thrown out. They’re feeling desperate and in their desperation they’re are showing their true colors, thus speeding up the process.

Protests against privatization are just one piece of the puzzle. But it is necessary to see the importance of this step, to both the people who love India, and to those who love the idea of India.

They see it with perfect clarity. Do you?

A written appeal to all who’re reading: ‘They’ made the ecosystem so far, now its our duty

0

6 or 7 years ago, not many people of this country used the word ecosystem, at least not in the context of politics, national or international. With the advent of a new leader who possesses the ability to be almost magically detached and attached at the same time, things that were hidden behind opaque screens started coming to light. The people were hit, and continue to be hit, with the realization that there’s a system in place, which is at work, and has been at work for a long time, to manufacture and maintain certain narratives. This was termed “the ecosystem.”

So far, so good. The second realization to hit was that we have a total and utter lack of such a system which deliberates upon and works on creating and maintaining perhaps the most important thing in the era of Fourth Generation Warfare, i.e., the narratives.

So people did, and continue to do, what they do best. They ranted against the leader, the party and the organization. Now, there is no doubt that the leader, the party and the organization do have a role to play in helping with the growth of the ecosystem, but, they could/can do only so much in the beginning when, perhaps, even they were/are realizing it for the first time that such systems exist.

It has been less than 7 years since the change in the government, while the opposing systems have been at work since 50,100,200,500 or more years, depending upon which aspects of the systems you choose to look at and examine. They have seeped down to the very core of everything, to the point that it is close to impossible to differentiate what is what and who is who.

The leader and other people at the top are doing what they can in whatever capacity they can. They should be asked questions, yes, but it is often best to start by asking oneself, “What am I doing to improve the situation?” or “What can I do to improve the situation?”

And indeed, what can an individual do in the face of such insidious systems which seem to permeate everywhere?

What if I told you that there exists a not so secret weapon that any of us can wield? And which only requires minimal resources which everyone does possess anyway. That weapon is anything that can give shape to words, i.e., a pen and a paper, a laptop, a smartphone or even a typewriter if you’re into that.

The ammunition shall be the ideas in the form of words that you will type, write or type-write.

“Why? What might be the benefit of writing?” you may ask. “Why not?” I will reply. Because, in all seriousness, why the hell not? I’d like to indulge you in a thought experiment. Think of all the articles, news items, op-eds or books you’ve read that emanated from the ecosystem. Or all the movies or TV shows that you’ve seen which emanated from the same place. Any sort of media, that emanated from the ecosystem, I’d like you to think about it for a while. Think also about the ecosystem, as you perceive it. Pause here for a minute and do it.

Done? Okay. Now, some of you might have imagined the ecosystem as a mysterious entity, which, using some sort of sorcery spews out all sorts of content designed to manipulate the minds of the people and bind them in a matrix of propaganda. But that is simply not the case. There is no sorcery involved. Every bit of content that was ever produced started out with someone taking a piece of paper and a pen or a keyboard and spewing out whatever idea they had in their head. As simple as that.

So, at the base of it all, if every bit of content ever produced found its inception in someone who was bored, agitated or both bored and agitated, I ask you, aren’t you bored enough? Or agitated enough? Or a mix of both?

“What might I write?” You may ask. Well, anything. Anything at all. Again I ask you to think about the things that you’ve ever read or seen from the ecosystem. All the bullshit, or all the majesty. Anything at all. All the influence, all the glory, all the material and social benefit, all the money that they have, its origin lies in some dude or dudette just picking up a pen and jotting it down. So, why not you? Ask yourself…”why not me?”

“What are the benefits?” you may ask. Well, you never know. You might end up being a prolific journalist, or a renowned author, or a famous screenwriter, you’ll never know, unless you pick up that pen and write down on that paper whatever you have cooking in that brilliant head of yours.

If nothing of significance ends up happening, at least you satiate the feeling of speaking your heart out. And it’s a great feeling. Even if no one is listening, you’ve spoken to the paper. You feel free.

Everyone has a story to tell. Something you experienced, something you heard a friend or an acquaintance talk about or something you overheard on a train ride, or something that just popped in your head out of nowhere. Something really inspiring or something really dark. You have something you want to tell the world about. Why be struck with it in your heart when you can simply pick up the pen and let it all pour out?

There are stories out there, but where? You already know. The stories are all in you, the people, and all you need to do is to look inside and then let it pour out. If you don’t let it out of fear of ridicule or repercussions, well, you can continue blaming the (dear) leader, for, that is the easy way out. But that is not the path to opulence or victory, let me tell you.

Again, coming back to the ecosystem, the individuals that comprise it got initiated into the ecosystem only because they could create good content. Sure, they got some help and mentorship perhaps, but at the base of it, it was because of their ability, and more importantly, their will to write, because ability comes from practice, that they became a part of the ecosystem.

You might argue that they had the support to publish and polish and distribute the content and you might give other similar arguments. I’d call you out as weak and one indulging in excuses as a result of your own laziness, or your own lack of initiative, if not laziness. For you also have pens and papers and keyboards, the same as them.

If you have written something, and then you have trouble distributing it, that might be blamed on a lack of support from our ecosystem. But not even taking the initiative to write something because you’re imagining that you won’t get any support since there is no “our ecosystem” is just an excuse at best, and disservice to the nation and the civilization at worst.

So, rise and shine, and do what your duty is to do. Pick a paper and a pen, or a keyboard, and start throwing things out of your system, so that an ecosystem, our ecosystem can be built.

Also, share these words with people or groups of people who you feel have the the knowledge about certain things and/or the ability to write, and are only lacking the proper motivation or the initiative required to start writing. Or just share in general, because who knows, who might see a simple share from you and get inspired and change narratives disproportionately in the times to come.

It is time for “Sonar Bangla”

“Jai Shri Ram Jai Shri Ram BJP jindabad jindabad” echoes on the streets of Tarakeswar as women dance and clap to join the BJP women rally in large numbers.

The enthusiasm and fervour for change is evident.

The change in the air was even more evident to the TMC goons, who went desperate on witnessing the enthusiasm and felt that they are losing mass appeal. So, the next day, TMC goons entered the house of BJP lady worker and threatened her, pushed and assaulted her for working for BJP and had to be hospitalized for the grave injuries sustained by her. But the lady worker was determined as she looked at me with anger blazing through her eyes, “ab isko khatam karna hi hoga” at the hospital where we are trying to help her get medical aid. TMC goons surrounded the hospital and police intervenes, but instead of registering complaint against TMC goons, Police charged this lady for creating unrest in the area.

The anguish is clearly seen among women against the so-called DIDI of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.

West Bengal has had wide spread reports of assaults on women particularly on mothers and sisters of BJP workers. In West Bengal, the death of Shubham Mazumdar, 85-year-old mother of BJP worker is just one of them. BJP Mandal Adhyaksh being hanged, assaults on women, BJP candidate Locket Chatterjee who is currently MP being hit, rape of wife of BJP worker in Nandigram, is a few among the many cases which have gone unnoticed and unreported.

Domestic violence on women, human trafficking cases have been on the rise in the last 10 years. Even NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau) data shows that Bengal features among the top three states when it comes to sexual assault, acid attack and overall atrocities on women.

Tarakeshwar Constituency

On 3rd of April, the 17th of Chaitra month PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Tarak Nath Dham at Tarkeshwar  as Chitra month is as auspicious as Saavan month for prayers of Lord Shiva. This whole month people from Hooghly and surrounding areas gather in Chaitra to serve Baba Tarkeshwar.

Tarakeswar constituency which falls under the Arambagh. Lok Sabha BJP candidate is Swapan Dasgupta, MP Rajya Sabha, journalist known for his honesty is a Padma Bhushan awardee. On other hand, the TMC candidate, Ramendu Singha Roy is the district President of the area. There is a tooth and nail fight.  Tarakeswar being a holy place where the Shiv temple attracts lot of tourists but no tourism has been developed here. The approach road to the area is in a very bad condition which adds to the pity cause of low tourism in Tarakeshwar recent years.

There is bumper crop of potatoes and fish farming in the area but there is no facility for cold storage or compensation given to the farmers in West Bengal. The PM Kisan Nidhi was not given to the farmers and not even a single money was transferred to the direct benefactor. There are no industry and no jobs. Mamta Banerjee government has done only ‘Khela ‘and formed syndicates for extortion, corruption and so called goondagardi  hooglism with the people and the women of Bengal. ‘During the Cyclone Amphan in May 2020 many people lost their homes. For a grant of Rs 50,000 to 60000 there has been corruption, they say you pay Rs 20,000 which is ethically and morally wrong “quotes Swapan Das Gupta.

Women rise with BJP

The chief minister, Mamata Banerjee herself being a woman has no empathy for the women in West Bengal. There have been no Schemes for development of women in State ,only Scams. With the West Bengal on the cusp of another revolution, and use of muscle power hitting BJP workers to demoralise them, West Bengal has turned into a battlefield. West Bengal a part of Akhand Bharat awaits the development, end to tyranny. Vande Mataram singing and Jai Shri Ram slogans, on the street is a ray of hope. The Dawn of Progress for the people in West Bengal. It is humbling to see the immense support of women for BJP. They await the empowerment through free girl education, Balika Alo Yojana mission at Atmanirbhar Mahila Yojana, widow pension scheme, toilets for all, etc as promised in the BJP manifesto after BJP wins elections. These promises in manifesto will act as stepping ladders for women to rise during a new government. People of West Bengal are really looking for Change. Change for increased job opportunities through industrialisation, an end to corruption, an end to tyranny of TMC government.

The New beginning is not far. People will strike back and hit TMC hard by voting them out. It is time for “Sonar Bangla”.

The White-Collar Criminals

0

The ‘white-collar criminals’ are defined as a spirit that survives on our soul, which can travel across the globe, could exponentially produce similar but more powerful offspring, and an essential feature that a female spirit can also pregnant a similar male spirit. They may not have a specific gender, race, religion, nationality, and ethnic background, but they are bonded together with a strong, cohesive force. There are several types of ‘white-collar criminals’ we encounter every day in our lives. The most important among them is the one with whom we spend our most precious time, after our families and friends.

It is painful and unfortunate to say that they are essential pillars of our educational systems and identify themselves as ‘teachers’! We call them ‘teacher,’ ‘Guru,’ ‘Acharya,’ or, ‘master.’ Don’t get offended or be surprised. We are not generalizing it, but we are talking about a significant population. The “white-collar criminals” are those who have disrespected this holy profession of “teacher,” which is a big responsibility.
In Hinduism, a “Guru” is defined as below:

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।
गुरु साक्षात् परम्ब्रह्मा तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।।

The above Sanskrit shloka can be translated as: A Guru is Lord Brahma himself. He is Lord Vishnu, and he is also Lord Shiva. A Guru is Parambrahma (supreme God or the absolute truth). With this realization, I offer my obeisance to the Guru.

As always, there are good and evil souls. I seriously felt to share my experiences, which are based on the events happening around me, or, with my friends or colleagues, worldwide. Therefore, any quoted events do not belong or represent any particular country, gender, religion, or race.

A significant portion of our parents’ hard-earned money goes to the academic system, believing that the teachers will instill a good moral in us, build up a high-quality knowledge-base, and show a right and true path to accomplish lives’ goals. Everybody knows this as we still believe that a Guru is equivalent to God, so not wasting time, let’s come to the point.

Our first meeting with the ‘white-collar criminals’ is scheduled as early as we first enter a kindergarten. The crimes start in the form of discrimination because of variety of reasons, and if the psychological conditions of the ‘white-collar criminals’ is pathetic, then your soft and innocent heart is going to be ruined and tiered-up, without even letting you know, until someone reminds you, when you are a grown-up kid.

The crimes are at every level of the academic system. In this article, we will be focusing on the period when we enter to a higher degree, masters, and PhDs. Academia emerged as one of the most corrupt industries. In the academic world, the crimes are not well defined except plagiarism, and in most cases, either not reported, or if reported, the victims have to pay the cost of becoming the ‘whistleblowers.’

Here are some examples: to finish your thesis, you may be asked to do some house chores, some personal work, and writing others’ theses. This is a mild crime, with the condition that the ‘white-collar criminal’ you are working with is a ‘mild spirit.’ If the ‘white-collar criminals’ are holding your graduation until you are wholly squeezed by writing several papers, asking you to make them the first author or adding ghost-authors in your research, and writing and managing grants, you are a victim of ‘moderate spirit’ of ‘white-collar criminals.’ If you were unfortunate, in a way that you get trapped with a ‘super dirty spirit,’ you will be asked to offer your physical beauty to satisfy their evil desires.

Here, if your spirit is ‘super positive,’ you might stand up and fight. Unfortunately, most of us lack this ‘super-strong positive spirit’; consequently, we suffer and bear the pain for the rest of our lives.

The moment you start shining, your positive aura starts spreading around your workplace, my dear friends; now this is the time to get ready to take a dip in deep shit. By the time you will take out your face to see how the world looks, you will be all screwed-up because you have lost (sacrificed) all your opportunities, being obedient and loyal to your’ advisor.’ The moment the word “eureka” came up from your mouth, it’s time to offer or share ownership of your ‘ideas’ to them. Your protest to them could make you walk on the ‘Path of Fire.’ The choice is yours.

These are just a few examples. There is another hell waiting for these victims when they start looking for academic positions. They need good recommendation letters, they should have several publications in so-called high-impact journals, their advisors should have an extensive network, and most importantly, their advisors are willing to support them. Additionally, there are other factors.

If passion for teaching and research were not good enough for academic positions, Prof Karen Kelsky didn’t have to write a book, “The Professor Is In.”

The next level of hell is the “publishing world,” where several big-groups are already there. I am not discouraging here the excellent work if you have good work that will be published sooner or later. However, you may not find good mainstream journals and editors who review your work without bias. There would be groups that dominate this “publishing world.” If you want to go deeper, you will find people from specific countries, institutions, groups even specific religions dominate this “publishing world.” The open-access journal revolution has also added to academic corruption. Each individual is itself a significant nexus, and one may need to write dedicated to each issue.

Coming back to the scholars’ world, I have met several scholars who had to sacrifice their research after working hard for four-five years only because they were not in the so-called ‘good book of their advisors. However, nothing hindered them from excelling because the real scholars have no boundaries, and no obstacles can stop them. I know many of them who serve the worlds’ top organizations after leaving their research career unfinished. They only miss a prefix-Dr. in their names.

I know several scholars who could not stand up for the right thing and surrendered their identity to those ‘white-collar criminals.’ Now they are part of that culture, partners in crime, and looking forward to breeding another generation of ‘white-collar criminals.’ The old ages of ‘white-collar criminals’ have already created a new breed of a young generation of ‘white-collar criminals,’ which are more vicious and dangerous because their diet is multiple times greater than their ancestors. They eat the souls of innocents. It sounds like a war between good and evil souls, so unfortunate for humankind, but because humans’ greed is the cause of all problems. Academia is not an exception, although we respect this profession the most and believe that the teacher-student relationship is connected with the most pious bond after the bond we are connected with our parents.

It hurts the most when we know that a Ph.D. student committed suicide as they couldn’t cope with the studies—no one chooses a Ph.D. program to die. Someone has to be answerable to all these. The irony is these crimes have been so normalized that no one even talks about them. As if this is a part of this game!
As I mentioned above, that there are good and evil souls. Those who survived in this war only because they had strong positive spirits and support from the ‘real gurus.’ The irony is that we lack such ‘real gurus’; consequently, we lack a ‘strong positive spirit.’ We need to appreciate and admire those ‘real gurus’ and discourage the ‘white-collar criminals.’

Choices are always ours, whether we should be a part of the ‘crime culture’ and nurture these monsters or say ‘NO’ to them. Remember, your one ‘NO’ could save at least one more ‘innocent soul’ other than yourself if you do not dare say ‘NO’ to these “white-collar criminals” at least thank those ‘real gurus’ who supported you and showed you the right path.

Why is the BJP losing its ground in Delhi state politics?

0

Mahendra Kumar Sanpal, a veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the contemporary headman of the Sindhi Cell of the BJP’s Delhi state unit, proved to be a snollygoster and opportunist when he was voluntarily inducted in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of its supremo and the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal on the afternoon of 29th March. Sanpal has been a sedulous member of the BJP for the last three decades, working from Gujarat to Delhi, and has held numerous esteemed positions in the party’s hierarchy in the prior decades. This comes as an anomalous, unprecedented, and unanticipated jolt to the enfeebled, shattered, unorganized, and leadership-meager state unit of the BJP. Conjectures are at their zenith, that the protracted experience of Mr. Sanpal could aid and dilate the gamut of aspirations and election-winning hankering of the AAP in Delhi as well as in Gujarat, where it could vanquish the Indian National Congress (INC) in the forthcoming assembly election in 2022 and emerge as the largest opposition party, if not the ruling one. The results of the recent civic body polls in Gujarat endorse my surmise to a possible extent.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha General Election, amid the massive adoration, acclaim, and marketability of PM Modi after the Balakot Air-strike, the BJP bagged all the 7 seats, and Delhi saw senior leaders and acclaimed government-education-reformist of the AAP like Atishi being trounced by a landslide majority from the newly inducted neophyte-to-politics candidate like the ex-cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir who became triumphant by an overwhelming mandate.

But, less than a year in February 2020, the gigantic swing with the pro-AAP proclivity in the polls corroborated that the people of Delhi are literate and sophisticated as they want to see Narendra Damodardas Modi as the Prime Minister of India, but for Chief Minister, they certainly yearn for the erudite, assiduous and charismatic Arvind Kejriwal, whom they perceive as the messiah and politician from the grassroots who rendered them with cost-effective electricity, buses, world-class government schools which set a new paragon in the rest of the country, Mohalla Clinics, ration, and many other amenities, schemes, provisions, and infrastructures. The results also startled the political pundits, as they observed that the local issues in the case of Delhi defy national, patriotic, communal, and religious issues such as the CAA, NRC, and the NPR, Abolition of Article 370, or the erection of the stupendous Shri Ramjanmbhoomi Temple at Ayodhya shrine. Albeit, BJP escalated from 3 seats in the previous election to 8 seats and also, the Deputy CM, Manish Sisodia had a close shave in the high-profile assembly seat of Patparganj where he managed to thwart the popularity of BJP’s Ravi Negi by merely 3000 votes, exhibiting the discontentment and rage among the assembly’s population towards him and the AAP.

Earlier this month, the results of the municipal by-poll elections were proclaimed in which the AAP won four wards and astonishingly, even the Congress, which had failed to increase its cipher tally in the assembly elections, bagged one from the AAP. And the BJP, which has been ruling the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for the last 15 years, drew a blank and lost its bastion ward of Shalimar Bagh to the AAP. This by-poll result is an alarm bell and a cause of trepidation that the next year, in a full-fledged election for all the wards, the marvel of the AAP under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, will triumph over the BJP, and it would certainly have to abdicate the rein of the MCD.

Due to the dearth of a state-unit leadership and zest in the cadre, and with the induction of contentious faces like Kapil Mishra, Tejinder Bagga, and illiterate, defamed and once a Samajwadi Party (SP) stooge actor-singer-cum-ideology-scarce politician Manoj Tiwari, the BJP has nearly lost its ground in Delhi state politics. In the last year, dozens of BJP leaders, ward councilors, and former MLA’s have jumped the ship and perched on the lap of AAP. Kejriwal is akin to PM Modi in certain terms, such as the style of politics, ferocious-oratory, and the mobilization of the targeted throng. Kejriwal is for Delhi, what Modi is for India. Among several crucial factors, the paucity of a credible opposition face is a reason Modi sweeps India in the polls. And in Delhi, the scantiness of a robust, habile, and relentless opposition face is among the several other factors, why Kejriwal sweeps Delhi in the polls. Kejriwal emulated and imbibed Modi’s attributes and political sacraments and swiftly and fiercely built rungs to reach the throne of the Chief Minister, consolidating the mass from all religious and ideological ambit.

The erstwhile and the present president of the state unit of the BJP, i.e., Manoj Tiwari and Adesh Kumar Gupta, both are incompetent in terms of persuasion and mass-mobilization. The former is famed for the renowned Bhojpuri song ‘Rinkiya Ke Papa’ and, we now know the latter for conducting, heading, and being the torchbearer of the vandalization which took place in the office of Raghav Chadha, an eminent youth leader, vice-chairperson of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and MLA from Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency.

To escape this forlorn and state of tumult, the BJP needs to field a young and competent leader like Tejasvi Surya, who could compel, appeal and appease the Hindu vote bank to cast its vote to the BJP. Also, they need to abhor the politics of religion and cult, and at least be disguised to be following the politics of development, healthcare, education, ration, and infrastructure. And they must refrain from passing contentious remarks, like declaring Kejriwal a terrorist or an arsonist and intertwining his party with the Shaheen Bagh Protests. War-mongering in Delhi needs to be abated for a positive projection of the party. Derogatory remarks against the dissenter diminish the cachet of the party. They need to accentuate the cons, alleged corruptions, and the non-fulfilments of the AAP and should frequently interface with the citizenry to regain its lost authority over the realm of modern Delhi.

Freedom of temples from Govt- Pros and cons

0

For quite some time, it has been a movement from Hindu organizations to free temples from the Government management. The BJP in its election manifesto in Tamil Nadu stated that the party would ensure the administration of temples to be handed over to a separate board comprising Hindu scholars and saints. The party is right in saying so, for it has been a persisting question from average Hindus—why should a “secular” government control Hindu-temples alone, when minority religious places like mosques and churches are left free? Certainly, a valid question.

If we analyze dispassionately on the subject, there are pros and cons to it. On the pros-side: the Government at the Centre, as a matter of policy: less government and more governance, may relieve itself from temples-management, if a suitable private Hindu body is found to look after. Right now, the government is on privatization spree of:  airlines, airports, industry, mining, trade etc., In the similar fashion, it could move away from controlling temple-affairs. So, there may not be much of a problem. As a top-down measure the Centre could legislate.

The strength for the argument: ‘freedom to run Hindus temples by Hindu religious bodies’, arises out of Tamil Nadu state, as it is the textbook case for the neglect of temples by the respective state-governments for a long time.  The state Tamil Nadu has a rich cultural heritage of temples. Successive secular governments in the state have not protected those temples and the artifacts in it. They let temples to dilapidate under their own watch and allowed all type of goons to loot the idols, sculpture present in them to be taken to their use and to foreign lands for sale. Their gross neglect and ignorance of Hindu religious sites, is pathetic. So, Hindus asking for recourse to take them back in their hands, is legitimate.

Similarly, in Andhra Pradesh temples used to have acres of land donated by kings and rich devotees for their maintenance. Like any secular institution, a temple also needs money. It is meant for cleaning, for decoration of the idol and for lighting daily lamps/aarti and Prasadam i.e., food offered to God, that’s in turn distributed to devotees. Keeping all this in view, the donors donated their property to the residing deity. All this is done out of devotion. By selling this land to non-devotees at throwaway cost by the Endowment Department is diluting the intent and purpose for the cause for which they were given. Many temples were left with no property to sustain, as their land was illegitimately grabbed. Hindus could not raise their voice against these affairs all along. As the condition of temples has been deteriorated drastically, there is a kind of awakening among Hindus now. They are raising doubts on their present offering to God in the form cash or kind, is being properly utilised by the endowments departments.

On the Cons-side:

In the hands of the Government—-if temples were not maintained properly, if temple money was misused by the government, people got every to question the government—they could also seek for more transparency—they could also demand for more facilities in the precincts of the temples, since the government is formed by elected representatives of the people. Its (the government’s) continuance depends much on people. Can the same be done with the holy-bodies/boards, under whose watch temples be left, after freeing from the government? Assume, one or two generations could be accountable, later won’t the corruption seep-in? Where are the checks and balances? Again, the government has to come into picture. Or the courts.

Interestingly, an ex- Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board has given a clear picture in his meet- https://youtu.be/TDnzo7a1z_4 , as to how Balaji-temple of Tirupati is run. For the services of Lord Sri Venkateshwara—the deity presiding—there are many Hindus from all castes that participate. Conventionally, they and their families have been doing these services from ages to Lord Balaji: as musicians-singing, as dancers- dancing, as cowherd- getting milk to temple, as shepherd rearing goat/cows, as florists that grow flowers and make garlands to the idol of Balaji, as folk artistes singing/dancing to folk songs, as truck-drivers getting loads of flowers and fruits etc., They are all from lower wrung in the Hindu society.

In the same way, there are potters that make pots and get water for Lord Balaji regularly. For all services: cleaning, cooking, distribution of sanctified sacred food, for decoration and other such services, many people other than brahmins are involved. What happens to these families which depend on temples for livelihood? Not only Brahmins but there are several castes that make glory of these famous temples. They should not be marginalized or lose their ‘pride of place’ in the new dispensation.  Since the governments are bound by the principle of equality, they maintain this caste-balance. Brahmins, specially of orthodox-variety, if they are at the helm of temple affairs, may not allow these practices to continue unhindered. They dig deeper into so-called Agama-Sastras for allowance/non-allowance of these practices. Even if, one or two are kind enough, others are not. We cannot vouch for the entire community.

In any case, among the Brahmin pundits’ statements/shastra-interpretations, there are many contradictions. Shaivites say something and Vaishnavites say the other. Who would be the arbitrator for both, if the government moves away? In fact, the government is happy to give away temples to Hindus because it is a huge burden on them to manage. It can rather be free. But the Hindus have to come out with a frame-work, as to how they manage their temple-affairs before taking over. Otherwise, they would be landing up all their disputes in secular- Courts to settle. After all, the hostile British Government too ensured all its colonies to write their own written-Constitutions (on how they govern themselves), before leaving/giving independence. To relieve temple from Government, without an agreeable plan in place would lead to chaos in the Hindu-society at large. So, the movement for the freedom of temples should have clear picture/road-map to manage temples.
