The Kashmir Files – Part 1

0

[Disclaimer: The article is not a review of the film, it is a description of the author’s experience and what the author actually felt during and after the movie.]

At last I got a chance to watch the much talked about film The Kashmir Files. I saw it in a small city called Eindhoven in the Netherlands. I must say, the film must be making a lot of profit as I have literally not seen a Hindi film running full house back to back even after a couple of weeks of its initial release. I have been in Europe for several years now, but this was the first time I literally had to book Hindi movie tickets online in advance.

I went to the theater with a couple of my friends, I was very curious as to what Mr. Vivek Agnihotri had to convey through the movie. To be frank, I did not have much expectations from the controversial director, as from his previous movies, the only movie that I really liked was Buddha in the traffic Jam. You could watch the trailer here. Although, Tashkent Files was an intriguing subject, but I did not find the movie interesting, I guess there was very limited content available to tell. I will come back to why I called the director controversial, or is it even fair to call him controversial.

Within roughly ten or fifteen minutes after we reached, the theater was packed with people. It was mostly Indians; North Indians, South Indians, People from the East and West India. I could see only a couple white faces, that’s why I said, mostly Indians. There were murmurs and whispers, some of which I did not understand as they were in regional languages. I would say, it was a little noisy in the start.

Nevertheless movie started, the story started building up. The movie captures two different time frames, one around 1990 and one at present. The movie is a story of one single family; Pushkar Nath Pandit (played by Anupam Kher and I must say played quite well). The movie was full of disturbing scenes right from the very beginning and they were intense. Moreover the one good thing or to say a very good thing about the movie was that the intensity kept on increasing. The movie ended at the highest intensity. The last thirty minutes I don’t know the exact time, will break you, doesn’t matter who you are or how so ever tough you think you are.

By the way, what do you do when you are extremely emotional and feel vulnerable but do not want someone else noticing your tears or the face that is about to explode? I guess some people just lough at stupid jokes to rub off that feeling. That’s exactly what people in the theater were doing, throughout the movie every now and then some people were giggling at scenes in the movie as uncomical as the reporter being pushed on the sofa. It is not at all funny, I did not find it funny and was thinking why were some people doing it. Until, I tried to do the very same thing in the very end. I realized why!

The last thirty or so minutes of the movie were soul wrenching, there was complete pin drop silence in the theater, only some breathing noises. No whispering, no murmurs, no nothing – pin drop silence. Even when the movie ended, no body moved; the crowd that was noisy- whispering, murmuring and giggling in the beginning was silent as dead. Halfway through the closing credits still the same. I guess there was no trigger to break that flow. That was not at all good feeling for me, before my friends could see my face I had to make my own joke “did we pay 15 euros to watch the credits?” That was the best I could do. But it did help, all three of us laughed as if it was the funniest one liner ever. We got up and started moving as if nothing had happened!

I guess this is what the woke or not so woke people will do after the buzz of this movies fizzles out in a month or so; as if nothing had happened. I heard a lot of people saying, we didn’t know anything about this. This literally was the most frustrating and extremely annoying thing that I heard that day; even more annoying then Raliv Galiv ya Chaliv. Why? These people claim they were completely unaware of this, even in the last seven years. How were they forming their political opinions about anything if they did not know? Everybody I mean literally everybody has a say or strong opinion on Kashmir, 370, 35A, pellet guns, internet, JNU, Azaadi, Right Wing, Democracy, Jihad, liberalism, peace and a lot more, if they did not know about the content of the movie before hand how were they even forming an opinion? How?

To be fair, the movie does not tell anything new. What ever is in the movie is available on internet, free of cost. Moreover, the movie did not even touch upon something very crucial. I guess two hours and fifty minutes is far away from sufficient to showcase everything, a web series might do some justice. What happened to the terrorists who actually committed those brutalities?

Any guesses?

They were actually awarded or say rewarded by providing them with government jobs in the name of bringing the lost youth to the mainstream. You don’t believe me, read this article which I wrote in 2018 and was trolled and accused of spreading hatred: Entangled Kashmir: A web of poor and selfish decisions; I wrote that article after I read the following headlines in Times of India:

This article really shook me, I was literally finding it extremely difficult to digest the fact that people were actually not willing to see what had happened in Kashmir and they were OKAY with the state of affairs. How was a terrorist even eligible to apply let alone qualify to become an army man?

Must read: Entangled Kashmir: A web of poor and selfish decisions

I can understand for a fact that it was difficult to know about these types of genocides and exoduses before 2014, because there were strong efforts to cover these things and slide them under the rug. People didn’t know where to look, what to look for. But after 2014, there is a lot of talk about these things. Aren’t these talks the reason why BJP is called Hindutva Party or promoting hyper-nationalism or anti Muslim?

If anyone did not know about the contents of the movies, by content I mean just the outline not the exact dialogs or wordings or names, especially after 2014, and he/she/it voted, doesn’t matter who they voted, they are the biggest problem in today’s India. Because they are forming opinions based on whims and fancies. Why do these people not try to search the truth? Have they not heard about Internet? In this age of technology, ignorance is a choice. And..

Nothing in the world is more dangerous that sincere Ignorance and conscientious stupidity!

Liberating India’s school education system

A few months ago, I was visiting my sister’s home. While the family chatted away pleasantly, my little niece—who is studying in 4th standard in a CBSE school—was dutifully attending her online classes via computer. Suddenly, I almost dropped my cup of tea in shock when I fleetingly overheard something that the science teacher was teaching. The topic was “Jehangir, the Just” and the teacher was extolling the virtues of the Mughal king Jehangir. I immediately asked my sister to bring me the science textbook to fully understand the situation. Yes, there it was, in the NCERT textbook—the glorification of Mughal kings—right from 4th standard itself. After the classes ended, I asked my niece if she knew about any Tamil kings. The 8-year-old looked at me amusingly and quipped, “Mama, what Tamil kings? There were only brave and kind Mughal kings in India.” I almost got a heart attack…

For the longest time in India, parents’ hearts have been bleeding as they pay for and powerlessly watch the slow brainwashing of their children. While every intelligent and informed educator recognises the poison being taught in Indian schools, they can only wring their hands helplessly as they continue to teach it to their unsuspecting, innocent students. Labelled as “liberal” education and prescribed top-down by successive governments, irrelevant and toxic “educational” content (read as, political propaganda) has been force-fed to successive generations of India to deskill and deracinate the population in order to turn them into brainwashed, self-loathing and incompetent zombies. Today’s working generation sadly acknowledges that they are less confident and less risk-taking than their parents. They are fearful of the future. Children and teens commit suicide at the drop of a hat. India’s middle class is cowering like sheep, primed for slaughter by global anti-India forces.

The only permanent solution to prevent disaster is to free India’s education system from the clutches of government, because every political party in government will push its own agenda at the cost of the nation and its people. Desperate times call for desperate measures. So, here is a radical solution to completely free India’s education system from political manipulations by current and future central and state governments. It is based on Bharat’s ancient and successful organisation structure of “decentralisation” which prevents wholesale corruption of people and systems.

With the arrival of the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET), it has become possible for government to completely exit the education sector and hand it over to private entities, which would be similar to Bharat’s ancient Gurukul system. All the government has to do is to prescribe a syllabus for the summative evaluation at the 12th standard exit level. Then, individual schools can be allowed to design their own syllabus to incrementally build their curriculum from kindergarten to 12th standard that leads up to this prescribed syllabus. The advantages of this system are multifold:

(a) vested interests can no longer manipulate the education system from a central point

(b) educators—and not bureaucrats—can decide what is best for students

(c) parents can choose which school gives their children the best education

(d) bad or anti-national schools will automatically wither away because of lack of patronage from parents

(e) the massive education bureaucracy can be dismantled and reassigned to other sovereign activities, thereby saving cost and time wastage.

A handful of individuals in the government’s education department cannot be expected to know and design the curriculum and textbooks for a multicultural nation of 1.4 billion people. As in ancient Gurukul schools, local educators know what is best for their local students. Minor issues, such as transferability of students, can be addressed by the schools themselves. Albeit, the exit-level CUET will anyway bring uniformity at the national level at 12th standard, which is the time when uniformity and transferability become important concerns.

Anyway, coming back to my story… after recovering from the shellshock, I sat my little niece and gave a priming lesson on “Manuneethi Cholan, the Just”. Then, over several sessions, I also tutored her on the various Indian kings, including Lord Ram, Harishchandra, Yudhishtra, Shibi, Rajaraja Chola, et al. At the end, with as much earnestness as I could summon, I impressed upon her the following: “Dear child, just mug up and repeat whatever is taught in your school for examination’s sake. Never believe any of it.” Seeing the confused agreement in her innocent eyes, my eyes moistened…

Jai Hind!

Opinion: Will western Europe still be the docile sheep of the US when the crisis is over?

0

NATO’s bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia began in the afternoon on 24 March 1999. Nineteen NATO countries began bombing ships in the Adriatic and four air bases in Italy. On the same day, 23 years later, NATO heads of state gathered in Brussels to discuss the future of Eastern Europe.

The outbreak of war in Ukraine is another example of Europe being completely at the mercy of the United States. Some legislators in European countries were subordinate to the United States even before the outbreak of the war. Starting in the fall of 2021, Biden twice promised Zelensky that the United States would accelerate Ukraine’s entry into NATO. The EU senses a crisis, but keeps calm. “What we all want, Europeans and Americans, is to show that we are paying close attention to the situation,” Germany’s chancellor, Olaf Scholz said at that time.

At the end of 2021, organized by the United States, the lawmakers of the United States and Great Britain used fake news to shift the attention of European countries to the Winter Olympics. At that time Blinken also visited Kiev to mediate in the settlement of the situation in Ukraine. Later, the United States and the United Kingdom worked together again. They published documents claiming that Russia had planned an attack on Ukraine.

The United States want to provoke Russia’s internal weakening, social and political dissatisfaction through the conflict in Ukraine, and change the government, and bring a regime that would be in favor of America. What other additional rewards are there? As the war in Ukraine escalates, NATO and Ukraine will also need an explosion of weapons. Shares of Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon have all surged since the end of February. The war in Ukraine has led to the fact that gas prices in Europe have risen again. Nord Stream II, which cost 9.5 billion euros, is dead. Yesterday, the United States and the European Union reached a gas export deal. According to the deal, the United States will supply an additional 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe this year.

The war has led to high energy and food prices in Europe and frequent demonstrations. But it won’t be for long. As soon as the crisis ends, Europe’s need to “get out of the embrace” of the United States will be more visible and faster. People in Italy and Bulgaria took to the streets in protest, refusing to load the deadly cargo that was set to be transported to the United States and NATO. Germany allocates 100 billion euros for defense spending. This war is turning the European Union into a serious military player. Emmanuel Macron also has warned that Europe must become more independent for its own defence and to ensure energy supplies after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. More interestingly, Biden’s loyal ally, Boris Johnson, stood awkwardly alone as EU leaders shook hands ahead of the Nato family photo.

I am now looking at the conflict in Eastern Europe and wondering why some people are not thinking well about the consequences“, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the day before the 23rd anniversary of NATO’s bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

The Kashmir Files: Countering the counter narrative

As expected, a counter narrative based on half- truths, twisted logic and whataboutry has begun for the recently released movie Kashmir Files. It is being lapped up by the ecosystem that is now famously known as ‘toolkit’ gang of Indian media.

Now let’s analyse some of the arguments used in these counter narratives & do a bit of myth-busting.

1) MYTH: Only 89 Pandits were killed, so why is this a genocide whereas there have been riots in India where thousands of people have been killed in different parts of India

FACT: As per reasonable estimates anywhere between 300 to 500 of the members of microscopic Kashmiri Hindus community died in Kashmir’s post-1989 insurgency and thousands died due to snakebites, heat strokes, poor hygiene and other reasons while living in squalor in different refugee camps across India. The official figure continues to be 89, which is based on the cases where formal FIR has been filed

However, that is not the real reason why it qualifies for being termed as genocide. It is a genocide because it led to complete extermination of Kashmiri Pandits – a minuscule minority of Kashmir numbering less than 3% of the population of the State. Kashmiri Pandits lost not only precious members of their society but also their culture, homeland, and roots. This is the single biggest reason why this qualifies for a genocide.

 2) MYTH: Jagmohan conspired with Pandits, asking them to flee the valley so that the field could be left open for killing Muslim Kashmiris by local administration.

FACT: While this argument is so poor that it does not merit an answer, but it is important to counter this misinformation. Here’s the chronology of events:

-Jagmohan was appointed as Governor of J &K on 18-19th Jan 1990.

-He flew to Jammu on 20th & then to Kashmir.

-He reached Kashmir on 21st Jan 1990 as the freshly appointed Governor of J&K.

-The Chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah had resigned on 18/19th, so practically the State was headless between 19th & 21st January. There was no formal handover from the incumbent to the new administrator.

The situation Kashmir had started deteriorating severely from 1988 onwards. It started reaching a boiling point in mid 1989. The killings of prominent Kashmiris started on August 1989. The targeted killings of Kashmiri Pandit leaders started with the killing of Tikalal Taploo, who was killed on 14 Sept 1989, nearly FOUR months before Jagmohan was appointed as the governor of Kashmir.

In Dec- nearly a month before Jagmohan was appointed as the governor of Kashmir, there was a MASSIVE procession through the heart of Srinagar city in favour of JKLF. The procession was by common Kashmiris to show solidarity with the killers of innocents. As per estimates nearly 10 Lakh (1 million) Kashmiris participated in this march. All the passers-by and bystanders were forced make V (victory signs) with their fingers.

On 19th January, there was a mass agitation in Kashmir where people assembled near mosques and other public places shouting slogans against India, against Kashmiri Pandits and demanding Azaadi. This triggered the mass exodus of Pandits. In other words, the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits started nearly 24 hours BEFORE Jagmohan reached Srinagar or had even a single meeting with the administrative officials of Kashmir. As a matter of fact, he issued an appeal requesting Kashmiri Pandits NOT to flee from Kashmir! This was published in most prominent newspapers including the leading English daily, The Kashmir Times. All this must be available in government records even today.

Lastly, there are some officials who claim that Jagmohan had asked the officials to try and ensure none of teh fleeing Pandits are physically harmed while they were fleeing from Kashmir. That might be at the root of ‘Jagmohan conspiracy’

 3) MYTH: Why only Kashmiri Pandit massacre, why not Gaw Kadal Massacre?

FACT:  There’s a huge difference between inflicting brutalities on peace loving community of Pandits by terrorist and killings of protestors by law enforcement agencies.

The Gaw Kadal killings in which anything between 28 (official figure) to 50 (unofficial figure) protestors might have been killed was at the most an administrative lapse. A huge procession shouting anti-India, pro-Pakistan, and Islamic slogans such as “Indian dogs go back”, “Azadi ka matlab kya, La Ilahi lilillah [illallah]” (“Freedom for us means Islamic rule”) was about to turn violent, the Director General of Police & other officials in-charge of controlling this mob in their discretion took a decision to fire on the mob to avoid escalation of the issue. There were intelligence reports that terrorists were planning to carry massive subversion on the Republic Day (26th January), which was only 5 days away.

Every killing of people is extremely sad, but not every killing is comparable. Justifying or whitewashing the targeted killings of Kashmiri Pandits by using an administrative decision as a counter is a deliberate attempt of obfuscating facts.

Also, this movie is about the massacres that led to mass exodus of Kashmiri Hindus, it does not talk about every issue that is related to Kashmir, so Gaw Kadal, Kunan Poshpora etc are irrelevant as far as this movie goes.

4) MYTH: Only a handful of terrorists were involved in these killings who had no local support at all.

FACT: When the killings started, the terrorists got MASSIVE support from the Kashmiri Muslim masses, particularly in Srinagar, Sopore, Anantnag etc. They were hailed as heroes and common Kashmiris were totally in awe of these Mujahid “gun holders”! they were felicitated, led in processions and feted by common Kashmiris. It was only when the Frankenstein monster of terrorism started attacking the common non-Pandit Kashmiris, they started losing mass support.

Some examples of how common Kashmiris supported the killers:

  • When the killers of telecom engineer BK Ganjoo were unable to locate him the attic and were about to leave the house empty handed, Ganjoo’s neighbour directed the killers to the drum in which he was hiding. The killers sprayed a volley of bullets on the drum killing the engineer.

Kashmiri masses feted and showered the terrorists with flower petals on multiple occasions at different places. The terrorists were considered heroes.

Lastly, let’s not forget all said and done most of the killers like Yasin Mallik were and still are popular leaders of common Kashmiris. When Bitta Karate, the cold-blooded butcher of Kashmiri Pandits was released from the jail, he was given a hero’s welcome by showering traditional jaggery (shirin) on him & garlanding him. Today he is married to a senior government official and is a political activist. Yasin too is similarly placed.

5) MYTH: Kashmiri Muslims always wanted Pandits to come back. Pandits became pawns in the forces of Right-wing politics & did not come back to Kashmir once militancy subsided.

FACT:  Here’s what happened in Kashmir:

When Kashmiri Pandits fled from the valley, immediately a movement started – burning down the houses of Pandits, forcefully occupying them, and even purchasing them at dirt cheap rates from Pandits. Similarly, the temples, lands of Kashmiri Pandits were destroyed or encroached upon. This made the Pandits truly homeless.

Whenever Pandits attempted to return to Kashmir, mass killings started again. Nadimarg massacre, Chattisinghpura massacre, killing of a Pandit chemist Makhanlal Bindroo, a Sikh school teacher and a few other Hindus in 2021 are some ready examples. The first non-Kashmiri to purchase land in Kashmir post abrogation of article 370 was killed too. Even Girija Tikoo, whose story features in the film had returned from Jammu before she was kidnapped, brutalised & sawed alive. The message was clear: Pandits are NOT welcome in Kashmir as residents. Lip sympathies notwithstanding.

Hurriyat Conference, which got the moniker of Hartali Conference for calling for a hartal for every major and minor issue, never ever called for a hartal in favour of Pandits or about their rehabilitation.

6) MYTH: Terrorism started in 1987 when the elections were rigged in 1987 in favour of National Conference & MUF was defeated in the elections

FACT:  There were indeed widespread allegations of rigging the elections. But these allegations have been levelled against nearly EVERY election held in the state of J & K. As a matter of fact, allegations of rigging is heard in most of the elections in other parts of the nation as well.

Rigging of the elections on 1987, if true, might have contributed to the rise of militancy in Kashmir. It certainly was NOT the primary or sole reason. Indications of what happened in 1990 appeared in 1986 itself, which is rightly called the ‘dress rehearsal’ of 1990. Islamic fanaticism under a newly emerged leaders of South Kashmir such as Nisar Qazi had spread its tentacles around that time. Nisar Qazi defied the government diktat of not selling meat on Janmashtami by organising mass slaughter of the livestock at different crossings of Anantnag town.

7) MYTH: Misguided youth gave up their guns & adopted Gandhian values of peaceful resistance through non- violence

FACT: Some of the erstwhile terrorists did indeed give up their guns. This was only when they realised the true might of Indian security forces and also realised that Pakistani and international support was a mirage.

Separatist leaders such as Yasin Mallik, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Salahuddin, Shabir Shah, Burhan Wani were/are hugely popular amongst the masses. They have never raised their voice against violence perpetrated against Pandits. A few of them have adopted non-violence as a tactic, rather than a change of heart.

 8) MYTH: Kashmir is a paradise on earth

FACT: In the last 32 years, Kashmir has turned into a mono cultural, xenophobic state, which looks more like an extension of Afghanistan than a part of forward-looking democracy like India. The most influential Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in his book has mentioned clearly that the only option for Kashmiris is Islamic rule and secession from India. Anything less than that is not acceptable. Nearly 100% of Hurriyat leaders follow this basic principle, the sugar-coated statements notwithstanding

9) MYTH: All the people involved in the film making are pro BJP & this is a narrative to help BJP

FACT: Shooting the messenger is the worst crime of the intellectually dishonest. Without commenting on the people who made the movie, we need to focus on facts shown in the movie. Personal agendas or attributes of the makers is irrelevant

 10) MYTH: Present government has done absolutely nothing to improve the situation in Kashmir.

FACT: While very little has been done, but this is a complicated human tragedy. A few positive steps have been taken by the present government which were NOT taken so far:

-Article 370 and 35A removed. This is the first step towards integration of the state with India

-JKLF banned in 2019 & its top leaders are in jail. Earlier they used to be hosted in 5-star hotels to participate in talks with government officials, human rights activists etc.

-Annual spend of 5 crores on the welfare and security of Hurriyat leaders stopped

-J&K state bifurcated. Monopoly of Kashmir division at the cost of Ladakh and Jammu division stopped

-Project Roshni under which illegal Rohingya Muslims were given houses and lands in J&K stopped.

11) MYTH: This is an out & out propaganda film

FACT: This film has taken negligible artistic liberty to weave the story together. Nearly 60 odd percent of the dialogs used in the film are already available in the public domain in the form of interviews, reports, articles, and press releases. The makers of the film claim that they have video recording of interviews with first hand victims

12) MYTH: The film is lopsided and gives a one-sided viewpoint

FACT: This film is about atrocities committed on Kashmiri Pandits by Pakistan supported Kashmiri terrorists. Trying to create a balanced viewpoint between victim and perpetrators- where no such balance exists – would be intellectual dishonesty.

13) MYTH: Why only Brahmins/ Pandits Hindus were affected, why not lower caste Hindus?

FACT: While this might sound outright silly, but people have asked this question on the social media. The fact is that Kashmiri Hindu is known as Kashmiri Pandit. There are NO OTHER castes amongst Kashmiri Hindus

One can only hope that saner elements of Kashmiri society wake up and call for an end to this mindless violence. And the first step for that is to acknowledge the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, followed by concrete steps for healing these wounds. A strong and vocal opposition to Pakistan and its sponsored players such as Hurriyat etc. could be the next.

4 Lessons to Indians from Ukrainian war

0

Ukrainian war has thought a lot of lessons to humanity. It has destroyed the dreams of liberals of a “war-free world“. Liberals always thought that “Humans are very rational” but this assumption got destroyed when Russia invaded Ukraine. But there is great learning that India and Indians can get from this war. Below are lessons one can learn:

Importance of leadership

Ukrainian war has shown “how important it is to have a wise leader“. Ukrainian war has shown the importance of a wise and experienced leader. No doubt Zelensky is a brave leader but he lacks the necessary political wisdom. Ukraine should have known the diplomacy of “how a small state should behave when it is sandwiched between two superpowers“. Even if everyone supported Ukrain in the war, Zelensky never realized that a big war will happen in the land of Ukraine. The land that witnesses the war will be completely destroyed including the civilians.

In WWR1 England wasn’t much damaged because it was fought on mainland European soil. But WW2 was proved to be fatal to England because the flight dropped bombs in civilian areas in England. In short, if a war happens one should always make sure war never happens on one’s own soil. Zelensky even if he got the support would see the total destruction of Ukrain because superpowers fight on Ukrainian soil. Afghanistan is the best example of it.

India presently has the best leadership and it is the job of every Indian to maintain the same. Indians should never commit the mistake that they have committed in the 2004 election because the nation lost a Gem of leadership.

Importance of self-reliance

In the Ukrainian war, everyone abandoned Ukraine all those promises made were false. Everyone who pushed Ukraine to engage with Russia but no one stood by them like Pakistan was pushed to fight with India in 1971 but no one helped Pakistan. NATO, EU, and all other powers abandoned Ukraine in the middle of the war. All the dreams of NATO membership, EU membership became a bubble on the water. Everyone just sent small ammunitions to fight against Russia which would make Ukraine another Afghanistan.

Now, Indian and Indians should become self-reliant. India should be a great economic power and a military power else no US, UK, EU or even Russia can save us. For that India should become self-reliant and achieve the status of superpower. For this Indians must support Indian business. Because every business Indians give to china is like “paying a Chinese to drop a bomb on you”. It is like Indians are digging their own graveyards.

Importance of knowing the internal enemies

As soon as the war broke out some people in Russia stood against their leader though it was fought in their national interest. Here I am not saying it is right or wrong. Tomorrow if any Chinese or Pakistani misadventure takes place there will always be some internal enemies who will revolt, write and publish against India itself. Here I would like to remember the words of General Bipin Rawat i.e. “India should prepare for two and a half front war“.

Now it is the duty of the Indian Army to fight 2 front wars. But it is the duty of every patriotic Indian to fight the half-front war which is about to happen inside the country.

Importance of knowing the roots

Ukrainians forget their ethnic roots which led them to all the problems that right now they are facing. Any destruction or succession of the civilization is based on the knowledge that they have about their roots. Indians right now should realize their Vedic civilization of culture, ayurvedic medicinal culture, a yogic way of life, and a gurukul system of education.

Left wing exposed: Using basic economics [Chapter 1]

This article contains basic logic and simple principles of Economics and other branches of study. I hope you get the point.

Self proclaimed leftist ‘scholars’ always try to shame us into thinking that we are inferior to them. Shaming us and our beliefs is considered to be a sign of modernity and intelligence in their so called gentry.

They try to peddle their lies and portray our way of life in a bad light. Without further ado, let us expose some of their malicious plots and elaborate lies.

Chapter 1: Leftists and the temples

Temples, shrines and pilgrimage sites constitute an integral part of our way of life. They (pseudo intellectuals) shame us into thinking that these practises are discriminatory and superstitious.

Such practices are not superstitious. These practices contribute to our economy. Let me explain:

Many materials are used in practices like Abhishek, Yagya etc. If the so called reformers say that temples are discriminatory, then two cases arise: either all the materials used for the said practices are produced by certain communities only OR the materials are produced by people, all of which do not belong to the specific communities. In the latter case, there is no discrimination. In the former case, the said practises simultaneously benefit the specific communities as it is assumed (within the meaning of this case) that only those communities deal in the necessary materials. A single practice (e.g. Yagya) demands several types of materials like firewood, ghee, kalawa (sacred thread), jaggery, specific attire, amber, raisin, fruits, flowers, spices (for meals) etc.

The communities which deal in the said materials are directly benefitted. E.g.: Weavers are benefitted as Yagya demands specific attire.

Also, in the ancient times, the excess, unused material (surplus) produced by the said professionals was then exported. This brought foreign capital. This foreign capital could then be used for purchasing the commodities, assets and resources not readily available in the kingdom (weapons, mercenaries, salt (available in coastal kingdoms/kingdoms with salt lakes) etc)

Many countries practise a similar strategy. Modern day example is UAE. It sells petroleum related products, gets the money and imports/develops the required technology/infrastructure.

The foreign capital could also be used to pay labours, carry out construction projects, fund the army and other useful purposes. This is a good example of how production and manufacturing create employment and attract foreign capital. Another example of a huge producer and exporter is modern day China.

Similarly, construction of magnificent temples employed many porters, masons etc. Also, due to temples, many towns like Thanjavur developed and flourished. Many professionals like sculptors, lodging providers (lodge is also called sarai), garland sellers etc also settled in the vicinity and earned money by selling their goods and services to the tourists and the devotees. Also, more temples were (and are) tantamount to more production and hence, more exports and employment (as explained above)

Also, many temples run charitable hospitals and food for all programmes.

There is evidence of how the ancient Indian goods produced was exported and paid for in pieces of gold and silver. They (the pieces of gold and silver) were then used to import necessary, unavailable resources, funding the army and carrying out massive projects of public welfare.

The Europeans shamed us and discouraged us from indulging in the aforementioned practises by terming them superstitious and hoax. This dwindled the production and the economy by spoiling this source of income. Due to this, the armies of the princely States and kingdoms were not well funded. As seen in the case of recent war between Russia and Ukraine, finance is very important to be able to garner support, fight and import the required weapons, medicines, food, supplies and technology.

To win the Battle of Plassey (1757), the British bribed Nagar Seth Omichand and disrupted the finances. Due to which, the Nawab Siraj Ud Daulah’s army was not well funded. Also, it is interesting that the British set up their factories and attacked the kingdom where there were low chances of presence of big temples and pilgrimage sites.

Also, there are some self proclaimed scholars who claim that the temples are not inclusive due to restricted/limited access. They don’t know that our way of life has the concept of different types of energies.

Menstruating women are not allowed to go to particular temples because such energy can harm their organs. Many temples of the said kind have either a brahmachari (celibate) deity or implied evidences of traces of radiation/other substances known to affect the female anatomy, have been found inside/near such temples (through local folklore, elderly, legends etc)

Also, many temples have a large number of stairs/tough and lengthy route and climbing the stairs/taking the said route regularly can cause hormonal imbalance. It is a well known fact that many female athletes and hard working women suffer from hormonal imbalance and conditions like female athlete triad.

(Read more about Female Athlete Triad : https://www.physio-pedia.com/Female_Athlete_Triad)

The leftists regularly target us by flaunting their slave mentality (European half knowledge/malicious intent) or by using idiotic statements like “religion is the opium of masses”.

They always try to divide us by quoting their half knowledge and distorted notion of equality.

In a nutshell, contextual validity shall not be perceived as a threat to inclusion and the so called leftist reformers shall be stopped from destroying the diversity and the beauty of our religion and then lecturing us on diversity and inclusion.

E.g.

(a) Many military areas have restricted access. It is not due to discrimination. It is due to rules, laws and policies made due to contextual validity.

(b) Many substances like tobacco etc have restricted access. It’s not due to discrimination. It’s owing to the fact that the substances are extremely injurious to health. Especially, to the health of minors.

In simple words, we shall understand our way of life and thwart the attempt of leftist and other schools of thought to use our way of life as their tool. Their divide and rule tactic is now of no use.

Note: Due to huge size of this post, this post is divided into several chapters. Chapter 2 (and subsequent chapters) will be released soon. Stay tuned!

Who says only Hinduism is divided?

0

One of the major accusations falsely used by Evangelists to convert the vulnerable is that Hindu religion is divided by caste hierarchy. And by doling out freebies and other concessions funded by Overseas Missionary outfits, in combo with the promise of a division less community, they lure the innocent.

But today, a tragic event in Chennai, brought out how even the Christian community is full of worms. A young primary school boy of a private school, who had alighted from the school van, allegedly was run over fatally when the van was reversing. The enquiry is on and the actual truth about sequence of events will emerge later. Terrible but the way the schools exploit the students and parents, such things will keep happening.

But what was more heart tearing was the video which went viral, which showed the bereaved mother pouring her heart out ,as to how the Christian churches were merciless when she approached them for a space to bury her dear little son. She was ferocious. She said when she called up the nearby Church, they initially declined citing that she is not their member; in turn, they asked her to produce a certificate from the CSI of Madurai in which she was a member. That outfit in turn demanded that she pay up subscription to consider her request. Another church refused to entertain her fervent request citing that she was not a Roman Catholic. The forlorn mother swore that she was ashamed to be a Christian and would never again visit a Church.

She also narrated that even earlier when her mother had passed away, her request to the nearby Church for conducting prayers for the departed soul was shot down citing similar reasons of subscription and different order.

However the ACP attending the casualty, apparently helped sorting out the issue.https://youtu.be/IzSfr_EmbUE

It has to be recalled that when a Covid Victim of a very good hearted Senior Doctor was to be buried, in a particular graveyard, the Church authorities refused citing the difference in the diacese. This doctor was well known for his poor friendly practice. It took the wife several court cases to finally get an order to bury the Good Samaritan, in the place of their choice and the relocate the mortal remains after exhuming the same from the place of temporary burial. This horrendous episode forced the then AIADMK government to pass a Government Order prohibiiting protest at burial places.

So, let the Cryptos learn that it is ” No Time to Die”!
