When the economically weak Pakistan is facing health emergency because of Corona Virus outbreak in the country, its politicians are busy in wheat, sugar scam. Punjab food minister Sami Ullah Chaudhary submitted his resignation on 6th April, 2020 after his probable involvement in the wheat and sugar scam, he is from the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

“The sugar mafia has threatened Prime Minister Imran Khan as well as DG FIA and Chairman of the Inquiry Commission Wajid Zia to immediately stop the probe into the sugar scam otherwise the country will see a severe shortage of the commodity and its price may hit Rs 110 a kilogram”, Ansar Abbasi written on www.thenews.com.pk.

Regarding this, opposition leader Mushahid Ullah Khan of Pakistan Muslim League (N) said in the Senate of Pakistan, “…he is not our prime minister, may be yours. prime minister! if he is prime minister then why he consorted with thieves? he is prime minister of thieves, your prime minister not ours. if they behave like this then I will not allow them to talk, thief…thief…”
