एक सामान्य से चोर को भी सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में पेश करने की आवश्यकता महसूस होती है तो सर्वप्रथम जेल प्रशाशन के द्वारा न्यायालय में एक प्रार्थना पत्र प्रेषित करना पड़ता है। उस पर सुनवाई करने के पश्चात ही सर्वोच्च न्यायालय कोई आदेश पारित करता है।परन्तु यंहा पर जिसकी बात हो रही है वो एक खूंखार दैत्य है, जो सैकड़ों मासूमों की अकाल मृत्यु का जिम्मेदार है। ऐसे भयानक मलेच्छ को बिना सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश के और सुरक्षा की परवाह किये बिना सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में उपस्थित कराना निसंदेह एक अति गंभीर प्रश्न है, जो मंशा पर प्रश्न चिन्ह खड़ा करता है।

देश के विभिन्न उच्च न्यायालयों में १०% न्यायधीशों को छोड़ दे तो बाकी बचे सभी कालेजियम सिस्टम की हि उपज हैँ। यदि आप अंग्रेजों की मानसिकता और सोच रखने वाले सिस्टम का हिस्सा हैँ, तो आप कुछ भी बन सकते हैँ, परन्तु आप सिस्टम में नहीं है तो आप कुछ भी करने लायक़ नहीं है।

भारत में न्यायपालिका एक महत्वपूर्ण संस्था है जो लोगों को न्याय देती है। न्यायपालिका का मुख्य उद्देश्य न्याय के माध्यम से समाज में संतुलन बनाए रखना होता है। इसके लिए न्यायपालिका के न्यायाधीशों का काम होता है दोषियों को सजा देना और निर्णय देना।

The judiciary is the bedrock of Indian democracy and a beacon of hope for people in times of darkness. But we have deteriorated that system, partly because of the colonial legacy, and partly because of our ambitions.

The reforms have the potential to transform the judicial process in India with the ecosystem approach, and thereby promote synergy amongst involved institutions.

बात यहाँ न्यायपालिका की है जिसके फ़ैसलों को अब देश का एक बड़ा वर्ग संदेह की दृष्टि से देखने लगा है, और इसके लिए न्यायपालिका स्वयं ज़िम्मेदार है।

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश महोदय माननीय श्री शरद अरविंद बोबडे जी की एक फोटो सामने आई जिसमें वो नागपुर में एक महंगी विदेशी मोटरसाइकिल पर बैठे हुए देखे गए थे। लोगों ने इस तस्वीर को देखकर अपनी-अपनी प्रतिक्रिया जा़हिर की।
