Celebrating surgical strike day: “रस्म-ए-शहादत”

In the wee hours of September 29, 2016 Indian Army announced that it had conducted surgical strikes across the LOC destroying the terrorist launch pads and inflicting significant casualties. Our DGMO (Indian Director General of Military Operations) briefed the press further informing that they had received “very credible and specific information” about “terrorist teams” who were preparing to “carry out infiltration and conduct terrorist strikes inside Jammu and Kashmir and in various metros in other states”. The Indian action was meant to pre-empt their infiltration.

The surgical strike was a befitting response. It was a display of what our army is capable of, a message that terrorism and its support will not be tolerated by India even if it is from across the borders and more so that the response to terrorism will not come in form of condemnation (KADI NINDA) but solid punitive action will be taken by India to punish the perpetrators.

The operation was smoothly conducted and there were no casualties on the Indian side.

Surgical strikes came as a response to the Uri Terrorist Attack.

11 days before the surgical strikes, Indian soldiers were attacked in Uri, which many believe was the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in the last two decades. Nineteen Indian soldiers were martyred and this attack was the tipping point for India. India called off its participation in the Islamabad SAARC summit and there was all round “KADI NINDA” which might have frustrated the Indian populace which wanted to see a real response to terrorism which came on 29 September.

Earlier that year in January 2016, seven soldiers were martyred in the Pathankot attack by terrorists backed by Pakistan. Indian agencies promptly investigated and also invited Pak delegation to provide proof that the attack was conducted by Pak infiltrators. Reports claimed that the terrorists who carried out the attack in Pathankot were in regular touch with their handlers and that the two phone numbers to which calls were made by the attackers were from Pakistan.

Every Indian was full of pride for their forces and admired the courage and valor of forces. At the same time, Indian government was also lauded for no nonsense approach in this matter and backing the forces to the hilt for this operation.

Shameful political reactions: These strikes also exposed the political class of India. Many opposition parties were clueless on how to react and rather than praising the army they started to cast aspersions on this operation. Some reactions to quote were outright shameful and were a direct attack on the morale of our brave hearts and questioned their integrity and sacrifices:

  • Many leaders of the Chief Opposition Parties of India called the strikes “FAKE”
  • Some said it was called an “Unnecessary chest thumping charade”
  • A Delhi politician’s statement was exactly what terror state Pak could have hoped for and “demanded that the proofs be furnished by Army”
  • Left leaders called Surgical Strike as a “Small Tactic” which failed to counter terrorism in the valley
  • Even prior to the surgical strikes when we were recovering from the losses of Pathankot and Uri attack rampant politics was being done on compensation being provided to martyrs by state governments.

Celebrating our heroes:

It was with this background I had penned the below lines titled “Rasm-e-Shahadat” from the perspective of our soldiers and forces:

बिस्मील को महबूब वतन पर फना की तालीम रहे
तेरी शान अजमत-ए-हिंद हर जर्रा सलामत रहे

कीमत ना लगा ए वतन शहीदो जानिसारो की
आबाद रहे तू ये आजादी ही मेरी अमानत रहे

सुबूत की तोहमत न दे इस जिस्म खाक-ए-फानी को
हम तो है खैर है दीवाने क्यो तुझे ये जहालत रहे

पांसबा कुर्बान हुए जिसकी हिफाझत के सबब, उस,
हमवतन की नजर मे क्यो हर वक्त सियासत रहे

रुखसत करो प्यारे वतन भरकर निगाहो मे सुरूर
कफन हिंद का परचम हो ये रस्म-ए-शहादत रहे

रिहा ना कर रूह को इस सरजमी से ए खुदा
जन्नत मुझे ये मुल्क है इतनी गर इनायत रहे

As citizens of India, it’s our duty to honor and ensure the pride of our forces. I was delighted to read that the government has declared 29th Sept as “SURGICAL STRIKE DAY” and that University Grants Commission (UGC) suggested that celebrations to be conducted in universities in the honor of our forces.

However, I was appalled when I read that some politicians, urban naxals, some sections of media and intelligentsia were opposing the idea of celebrating the valor our forces.

In fact, Surgical Strike Day should also be also celebrated in schools, offices and private establishments as a mark of our gratitude towards our Armed Forces.

Modi government has chosen the way of Ordinance to make the controversial practice of Triple Talaq, a penal offence. The government has asserted its will to provide gender equality among the Muslims where the practice of instantaneous Divorce has created a societal problem.

Though, this type of Divorce doesn’t have the Quranic injunction, it has been prevalent among all Muslim societies around the World. In recent years many Muslim countries have declared this practice to be illegal however, in India, a social problem took a completely political hue with the assorted opposition calling it a threat to the way of life of the second largest majority in the Country.

The fundamentalists leading the AIMPLB, All India Muslim Personal Law Board declared War against the government and against the Muslim Women who petitioned the SC for Justice. Government tried the Parliamentary method to alleviate the pain of the Muslim women but failed as Opposition in RajyaSabha united. The government had no other way out as it staked its credibility to pass the Muslim Women (Protection Of Rights On Marriage) Bill, 2017. Ordinance was the only way out and government took up the challenge.

All good things needs intent and a strong political will, the government has shown the intent and the will to ameliorate Muslim Women, it is a welcome sign. Especially, as it establishes Narendra Modi’s favourite tag line ‘56” ka seena’ as the way out of an impasse‘.

What has intrigued us as Hindus is lack of same will and intent in case of any of the promises made by the BJP in their manifesto of 2014 and earlier resolutions passed by the National Executives over the decades?

Ram Mandir, Article 370 and Uniform Civil Code have been there for ages, we understand that a majority in both the Houses of the Parliament is a requirement to pass any Bill which can become the Law. And BJP lacks majority is a known fact but the enthusiasm and alacrity shown by the government in taking the Ordinance route is confusing to the layman. It maybe a ruse to divide the Muslim electorate on lines of gender equality or gender justice but who buys this argument is the question.

The intent of Gender Justice is a noble thought but the inhuman practices of Nikah Halala, Muta’h are worse than this evil of Triple Talaq. The government should have come up with comprehensive Bill on Rights Of Muslim Women which empowers them on the same scale as Hindu Women are, rather than piecemeal approach of tinkering here and there. If Ordinance is the only way out then it could be done by a Comprehensive shakeup than just one aspect of Gender Equality.

The more pressing and contentious issues have been left out to accommodate only one is sad commentary on the way issues are tackled by the government of Narendra Modi.

The evils of Article 370 are self evident from the situation which the country is facing in Kashmir Valley. The Hindus of Kashmir have been systematically wiped out to establish a Nizam i Mustafa, where we lose our Braves to the insidious design of our neighbour, Pakistan. The idea of India as a Secular Nation is under a threat not by the fringe but by the elements who want to destroy this country through violent means of Islamic Jihad. If it was time to show the 56”, it should have been on Article 370 rather than some sad piece of Personal Law.

One of the most insidious piece of legislation has been the Right To Education Act with its Constitutional mandate. Initially, it applied to all schools which fulfilled the intent on part of the government to provide education to all till the age of 15. However, the SC in an atrocious judgement ruled that Minorities Run institutions will be exempted from the Act.

This one judgement has sounded the death knell of all Hindu run schools in the country. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, schools and institutions run by either an individual Hindu or Hindu religious establishments or Trusts are feeling the heat. Everyone of them is obligated by law to fill 25% of their seats by Economically Weaker section students.

It is a fine piece of legislation per se but the deviant nature of the SC judgement has demonised the Act. Simply put, Muslim or Christian students belonging to weaker sections have to be given admissions by law but it doesn’t apply vice a versa ie., minorities run institutions by Muslims or Christians are not bound by the Act to give admissions to children from Hindu community.

Modi government should have sought feedback on Right To Education and brought about comprehensive change to level the playing field. It has acted to Kill the Hindus run schools making them economically unviable thereby leading to closure of many such schools. While, the minorities who are under no such obligations have prospered at the expense of Hindus.

Any legislation based on Public Good or Welfare must meet the standards of equality if the desired objective is to be achieved. Right To Education Act is one such piece of Law which doesn’t stand scrutiny of justice and equality. Government should have brought in amendments to the law and remade a level playing field for the actors.

Directive Principles of the State delve upon the State to bring a Uniform Civil Code in the country. BJP for ages has been a strong votary of the need for a Common Code for all communities, it is imperative in a democracy that all subjects are governed by same set of rules rather than different rules depending on the religious affiliation of its subjects. However, government’s response to this demand has been lukewarm at the best, it has fiddled over its implementation, coming out with a questionnaire for the public.

The very fact that the government needs a questionnaire to implement what is good in Law is disturbing, it raises questions on the intent of the government of whether it wants to bring an equitable law or it wants to polarise its constituency on communal terms.

Opposition has played the Minority Card on the issue of Common Civil Code as was the wont. Most in the opposition believe it to be a merely polarising issue rather than a genuine reflection on equitable law for the society. Government must deal with it as a question of Social Equality and implement the Uniform Civil Code as per Directive Principles, the counter argument is that Directive Principles are mere directions not enforceable by Law.

What we tend to forget is that these are enshrined in the Constitution for implementation at an appropriate time with the maturing of Indian democracy. These cannot be enforced by an individual but can be legislated by the Parliament to become the Law.

The Ordinance on Triple Talaq is nothing but just a spanner in the works, it is destabilising if not followed by comprehensive change to bring about equality and a level playing field in matters that are much more important than a piece of Personal Law which affects a minuscule population. It is in no way to belittle the effort of the government to bring about Gender Equality but it is not even a baby step in the way forward to completely eradicate inherent gender discrimination prevalent in most communities in general and Muslims in particular.

Contemporary mind is shaped and biased by our education system

Education is a gateway to liberalization and globalization. Education also bolsters informed decision making and choices.

In our country like any other developed country, primary education revolves around reading, writing, and arithmetic. Without these real tools of education one cannot proceed further as well. These are inevitable. However, in the age group 12-14 diverse perspective enters into a learner’s nascent mind through various interdisciplinary field of education like history, geography, social studies, general science and literature. Ethical values are imbibed during this period, identities are discerned, many preferences are shaped, and basic ideas are created about the world one lives in. These formative years shapes a young adolescent mind.

The content of our textbooks through which these minds are shaped in national curricula is held in high esteem; however, we need to understand the colonised imperial mindset imposed upon us through these textbooks. To me, it is beyond the pale. A plausible explanation of my point is stated here. A science textbook says the theory of evolution in a different way than what a moral science textbook refers in the story of Genesis. History teaches what one’s national identity is and what one’s social identity is, what to consider and what to disregard, which narrative to follow and which to throw in a bin.

Max Muller, a German philologist and orientalist, wrote comparative history (Sanskrit and theology) for us on his whims and fancy; however, his credentials are indubitable. A biased mindset wrote history for us and since ages we are perusing, following and swallowing it. To understand this, just randomly ask any student about the birth anniversary of martyr Bhagat Singh or Subhash C. Bose. You will be flabbergasted by their response or they will prefer to be taciturn over it. On contrary, Nehru or Gandhi is remembered and celebrated nation-wide.

Let’s take a situation to understand this mindset better. Suppose, you are walking down the street alone at 10 o clock in the night. You notice a tall, dark, muscular, bearded man walking behind you. What would you feel? Scared or unbothered? The answer will be scared in unison. If analysed we will come across no specific reason behind it. However, this is the bias mindset we hold and follow religiously. Who taught us this? Our curriculum should eradicate such prejudices from our mind and liberate us to be a global enlightened denizen.

Indian Express is knowingly misleading its readers with impunity

Rahul Gandhi’s lies are becoming infectious and newly affected is Indian Express. The Indian Express headline on its front page, is similar for which Rahul Gandhi is known for.

Nobody bothers what Rahul Gandhi says, because people know this man has no regard for truth. But Indian Express need to be reminded that the readers can’t be misled with such impunity. Let’s first consider MoD statement as reproduced below:

The reported statement perhaps needs to be seen in its full context – where the French media has raised issues of conflict of interest involving persons close to the former President. His subsequent statements are also relevant in this regard.

From above statement it is clear that MoD has nowhere said that Hollande had conflict of interest. What MoD has actually said in so many words is that Hollande was replying the issue raised by French media about conflict of interest involving persons close to Hollande.

Anyone having basic knowledge of English would conclude that MoD was only highlighting the context of Hollande statement and nowhere suggesting that Hollande had conflict of interest.

Now what Indian express has written is reproduced below:

The Defence Ministry also invoked “issues of conflict of interest involving persons close to the former President (Hollande)”.

The above line from Indian express and the headline are proof enough that Indian Express is lying when it says that, “Govt had no role, Hollande has conflict of interest, says MoD”. Deep into the article Express has reproduced full statement of MoD and if a reader reads full article s/he would wonder why such headline was given for this statement.

Now the question arises that why would Indian Express stake its reputation on this obvious lie. The answer may be guessed in probable thinking of Express that now a days most people read only headline or first paragraph. So, the purpose would be achieved by lying in headline plus being economical in first paragraph and formalities can be met in later part so as to cover alleged indiscretion.

The above proves that the Indian Express is knowingly misleading its readers and that too with impunity. It is only proper to call it out.

Mayavati of BSP is serving best lessons to the immature, ignorant, self-defeating dynast and his arrogant congress party. Mayavati is very ambitious and wants to expand her party base beyond UP. Initially she formed an alliance with JDS in Karnataka and now preparing to form an alliance with the regional parties in MP, Rajasthan, Chatishgargh, Haryana etc., without Congress. She wants to oppose BJP but never wants to join hands with congress. Indeed it is a smart move. Her intention is clear that opposition alliance without congress in future. She is the only political leader who had sensed the importance of expanding the base of her regional party to make it a national party and such mission is possible only if she isolates the congress or must demand huge pound of flesh from the party for an alliance.

Today congress is the weakest political force in India. Regional parties can grow only by removing the political base of Congress party.  As on date, removing or uprooting congress not just from India but from tetra firma itself is quite easy. Only when Congress is made insignificant and irrelevant in all parts of India the regional parties can grow and can have sunbath.

BJP has already grown as a powerful national party. BJP has merged its identity with Indian culture, civilization, cult, heritage and finally to the philosophy of Hindu Rastra. Respecting the principles of secularism and unity and diversity, the ancient Indus valley civilization must be re-invented and rediscovered in order to build Hindu Rastra in New India where Muslims, Christians etc., shall remain with their faith system but simultaneously will be known to the world as followers of Indus valley civilization and belong to the larger culture – Hindu rastra.

Congress also has a strong lesson to learn from Mayavati. Congress if wants to re-launch itself as a national party and wants to resurrect must support the mission of the current BJP– the one India, one election, one tax. Instead of regional party building exercise, congress must support Narendra Modi in building the nation, the New India where development and Sab Ka viska shall be the only agenda.

Congress can grow only if they contest alone and not by joining with regional forces. Coming election congress may not win if it contests alone but it will remain a formidable force if it contest alone. Growth of the regional parties is not good news for congress. Already congress has been made to kneel and prostrate before the junior partner JDS in Karnataka.

By giving its space and fortune to regional parties, congress cannot grow instead it would only de-grow. Therefore instead of defeating someone who is serious enough with his duties, i.e., Narendra Modi, congress must work towards how it can resurrect and how it can stop the regional parties from coming to power. Even if congresses consciously allow BJP to win, still it would serve something for the congress than allowing the regional parties win and form government. Congress must work towards re-capturing its national identity as a national party and should not reduce itself as a fringe force and then would beg for survival at the mercy of regional parties.

Congress should re-focus the contest between Congress and BJP and not the amalgamation of several regional forces where congress will be yet another fringe force.

India has changed, Indians have changed, the political culture and discourse has changed and political of development and Sab Ka Vikas has taken over and the relevance of dynast is fading fast.

Therefore Congress fomenting the idea of third front government just to stop Modi in 2019 and allowing the third front to fall from within or due to the dirty politics of congress party will weaken the congress party further. People of new India will never forgive and forget if Congress again engages in such dirty politics at national level and dis-engage the agenda of development and sab ka vikas initiated by PM Modi.

If the dynast can hold back his ambition of becoming Prime Minister of India for some more time, he can learn a lot about how to offer good governance without scams and corruption, how to focus on development and how to achieve sab ka vikas from PM Modi the dynast will have some future in Indian politics.

Due to some reason if the dynast later feels that his party is irrelevant and meaningless, he can always join BJP and can look for a respectable role.

Congress must keep India first and not destruction of India. Congress should fight for the victory of one nation and not the electoral victory of several regional parties to divide India due to their regional interest.

The article of D Balasubramanian entitled “Mix together ginger and jaggery to fight viruses” published in The Hindu dated September 22, 2018, must empower and convert all those AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice who are engaged in cross pathy.

AYUSH has several healing recipes for wellness and health. The reference of ginger and jaggery mix to fight viruses especially the RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is quite amazing. The indicative data already available in the credible literature although warrants some more intense research, but they cannot be negated completely.

Only through continuous clinical observation and patients experience we can establish the paramedical benefits of several AYUSH products. The therapeutic effects of AYUSH products/recipes instead of we attempt to test through modern scientific methodologies, clinical observation and documentation of patients experience would be appropriate. Paramedical substances must be scrutinized primarily for the end benefit than the absolute science and such science is necessary only for drugs of allopathic system.

Imagine if all institutionally qualified AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice take pride in practicing the system of their expertise than migrating to cross pathy, the private practitioners can reveal and prove several such wonders like ginger and jaggery mix for viral infection.

AYUSH has stayed far behind space, time, continuum purely because of cross pathy by several institutionally qualified AYUSH vaidyas in private practice.

In private practice, unlike in Government run PHC’s and CHC’s, vaidya-patient relationship is quite strong. Patient would definitely report back to the Vaidya about the efficacy of the recipe he or she is been given. The Vaidyas also can modify the recipes according to their knowledge, experience and intuition and can be evaluated. Once a recipe is proven to have some effects such recipes can be recommended to the research centres for further evaluation if necessary. Only through the committed and continuous engagement of AYUSH vaidyas in private practice in practicing own system, the country can have many more wonders like ginger and jaggery mix.

But today the commitment and sincerity among several vaidyas in private practice for own system has disappeared. Many AYUSH vaidyas have become the missionaries of allopathic system and often give AYUSH recipe only the value of side-dish to the allopathic prescription.

AYUSH can offer complete and permanent relief to several ailments at pre and post medical level. The true paramedical benefit of AYUSH is if explored and capitalised, India shall become a very health country.

The ultimate success of AYUSH lies not in the acceptance of people or the money spent by government to promote the system but the Vaidyas in private practice must trust and promote own system instead of engaging in cross pathy.

Sometime government should use advisory notes to change the attitude of people and sometime strict implementation of punitive measures alone would work. AYUSH Ministry must initiate strict legal and punishment measures against all those AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice who are engaged in cross pathy as it is important for promoting AYUSH.

Cross pathy by AYUSH Vaidyas in private practice can only destroy the relevance of AYUSH and public trust in the system.

AYUSH can answer several of our medical problems and challenges as it has several pre and paramedical recipes like ginger and jaggery.

I am reminded of the great saying of Albert Einstein that “As the circle of light increases so does the circumference of darkness around it”.

Today the immature dynast in Indian politics who is so greedy and impatient to become Prime Minister of India is proving exactly what the Albert Einstein has said but in a different way.

The more they dynast speak, the more he proves his ignorance and more he lie, more he reveals the truth on the side of Narendra Modi.

He initially lied to the world that the former French Premier has said that India Government only has chosen Reliance group for the mission and which was completely denied by the French Government proving the dynast wrong and is spreading and selling lies.

The more worrisome aspect is that the dynast is jeopardizing the interest of the nation for fulfilling his political ambition of becoming the Prime Minister of India. Many experts have further stated that the decision of the present government to by Rafale is necessary and India has got the best under Modi regime. Further the experts also commented that there is nothing wrong even if Reliance group is involved although Modi has not done anything wrong in this regard.

The painting – ‘Mother and Child’ has cached the attention and imagination of all art lovers in the world.  The ‘mother and child’ in India has also earned similar title but in different sense and meaning i.e., for spreading lies, destroying the country’s reputation through several scams and scandals etc.

The art lovers in the world when want to possess the master piece art – mother and child, Indians want to avoid the ‘mother and child’ from the political space of India obviously due to their negative politics and politics of destruction.

India’s security and capability is not a matter of consideration for the dynast and what seems to attract the dynast is the post of PM which the dynast want to attain at any cost.

When the congress claims the Brahmin blood in congress we also should not forget the foreign blood which in all probability can go in favour of the foreign land. The actions of the dynast tempts one to think that he is proving more as son of Sonia Mata than son of Bharat Mata.

PM Modi has brought a sea of change in India towards making India a super power. Prime Minister is focusing on Sab Ka Vikas and universal health care. In the defence sector, India is doing the right thing and is increasing its capability to deal our enemy.  But the dynast without understanding the importance of our security looks like playing at the hands of some foreign force. With the help of some foreign force the foreign blood is engaged in synthesize a scam to defame Modi but it is not going to give any dividend to the dynast. All those who carry Indian blood, who chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai will never allow those foreign forces to destroy the country.

Every Indian must unite and identify the dangerous and poisonous politics of the dynast over Rafale deal and damaging the reputation of our country. Virtually there is not even an iota of scam in Rafale deal but the dynast wants to somehow malign the image of Modiji. Through negative politics the dynast is disfiguring the country’s internal security.  When the dynast claim he is a born Siva bhakta and carries the blood of Brahmin, he is also reminding us the loud truth that he also carries foreign blood.

People of India are wise and mature therefore the days of negative politics and politics of destruction will not have any buyers in 2019.

The dynast has full liberty and right to prove he is ignorant, know nothing, knows only to spread lies and falsehood but he has not right to defame India and jeopardise the internal security of our mother land.  This is a very simple expectation and basic responsibility every citizen is expected to have.

Hope the dynast would continue to entertain us through the display and disposal of his utter ignorance without impeding the agenda of development and Sab Ka Vikas initiated by Modi Government. People of India understand the value of their vote therefore it won’t go to the ignorant entertainer.

India need development and Sab Ka Vikas, India need PM Modi in 2019 as well.

सबसे पहले यह जान लेना आवश्यक है कि ये ‘Offset Obligation’  क्या है, क्योंकि सारा चक्कर इसी Offset का है। दरअसल, फ़्रांस के साथ यह समझौता करने से पहले यह शर्त रखी गई थी कि इस डील से जो भी रकम Dassault कंपनी को प्राप्त होगी, उनमें से 50% राशि वह भारत में ही निवेश करेगी। इसी को Offset Obligation कहा गया है। इस आर्टिकल में बार-बार यही शब्द आपको पढ़ने को मिलेगा। इसी सन्दर्भ में यह आवश्यक हो जाता है कि राहुल गाँधी द्वारा लगाए गए आरोपों को तथ्यों की कसौटी पर तौला जाए-

क्या मोदी ने राफेल जेट को भारत में बनाए जाने के सौदे को HAL से छीनकर Reliance कंपनी को दिया है?

नहीं। यह आरोप पूरी तरह निराधार है, जिन 36 लड़ाकू जहाजों को भारत, फ़्रांस से खरीद रहा है, उन सभी एयरक्राफ्ट का 100% निर्माण फ़्रांस में किया जाएगा। एक भी एयरक्राफ्ट का निर्माण भारत में नहीं होना है। अतः इसके उत्पादन का ठेका HALसे छीनकर Reliance को देने का कोई सवाल ही पैदा नहीं होता। हाँ, यदि भविष्य में भारत सरकार और अधिक राफेल जेट खरीदना चाहेगी तो उसका उत्पादन भारत में किया जा सकता है, लेकिन उसके लिए एक अलग से सौदा करना पड़ेगा, वर्तमान 36 एयरक्राफ्ट वाले सौदे से उसका कोई संबंध नहीं होगा।

क्या अनिल अंबानी ने 20 बिलियन डॉलर का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट हासिल किया है, जैसा कि आरोप लगाया जा रहा है?

नहीं। भारत, फ़्रांस को 36 लड़ाकू विमानों के लिए 8.9 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर का भुगतान करेगा। जैसा कि भारत सरकार ने सौदे में ही Offset नियम जोड़ दिया था, अतः Dassault कंपनी को 50% राशि वापस भारत में निवेश करनी होगी। राहुल गाँधी ने आरोप लगाया था कि Reliance को इस डील से 4 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर का फायदा होगा, जो हास्यास्पद है, क्योंकि यह राशि पूरे डील की लगभग आधी बैठती है। यानि कि राहुल गाँधी का कहना था कि Offset नियम के तहत जो भी पैसा आएगा, वो अकेले Reliance के पास चला जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया था कि “Rafale lifecycle Contract” के तहत Reliance को 16 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर अलग से प्राप्त होंगे, जबकि इस नाम का कोई ‘डील’ ना ही किसी ने साइन किया है और ना ही इसका कोई अस्तित्व है।

अरुण जेटली के शब्दों में कहें तो यह ‘मसखरे राजकुमार’ के दिमाग की उपज है। 4 बिलियन डॉलर और 20 बिलियन डॉलर की दोनों राशि फ़र्ज़ी हैं, और ना ही Reliance को Offset निवेश की पूरी रकम मिलने वाली है।

क्या Reliance भारत में Dassault कंपनी की एकमात्र पार्टनर है?

नहीं। Offset बाध्यता के तहत निवेश प्राप्त करने वाली Reliance एकमात्र कंपनी नहीं है। Dassault ने लगभग 72 ऐसी कंपनियों से करार किया है जो उन्हें विभिन्न कलपुर्जे और सर्विसेज निर्यात करेंगे। उनमे से एक कंपनी है Dassault Reliance Aerospace. इनके अलावा L&T, महिंद्रा ग्रुप, कल्याणी ग्रुप, गोदरेज और टाटा ग्रुप के साथ Dassault ने करार किया है। Offset नियमों के तहत Dassault कंपनी अपने लिए पार्टनर चुनने के लिए स्वतंत्र है। साथ ही यह भी आवश्यक नहीं है कि ये भारतीय कंपनियां सिर्फ राफेल सौदे पर ही काम करें, वे Dassault कंपनी के लिए दूसरे प्रोजेक्ट पर भी काम कर सकती हैं।

Dassault अभी भी कई अन्य कंपनियों से बातचीत कर रहा है। लड़ाकू जहाज बनाना बहुत ही पेचीदा होता है, जिसके लिए हज़ारों तरह के कलपुर्जों की आवश्यकता होती है, यह कलपुर्जे अलग-अलग जगहों पर अलग-अलग कंपनियों द्वारा बनाये जाते हैं। Dassault जैसी कंपनियाँ इन कलपुर्जों को दुनिया भर से आयात करती हैं और अपने मुख्य फैक्ट्री में Assemble करती हैं। राफेल सौदे में Offset बाध्यता जोड़ने का उद्देश्य ही यही था कि भारत में निवेश वापस आए, जिससे नए रोजगार का सृजन हो और देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को बल मिले।

इस सूची में एक कंपनी ऐसी है जिसका उल्लेख करना आवश्यक है, वो है Snecma HAL Aerospace Ltd जो HAL (भारत) और Snecma (फ़्रांस) का संयुक्त उपक्रम है। यह संयुक्त उपक्रम राफेल जेट के Snecma M88 इंजन के लिए कुछ पुर्जों का निर्माण करेगी। अतः यह कहना कि ‘HAL’ इस पूरे डील से गायब है, सरासर झूठ है। राफेल जेट का निर्माण फ़्रांस में होना है, जेट के कुछ कलपुर्जे भारतीय कंपनियाँ सप्लाई करेंगी और उन कंपनियों की लिस्ट में ‘HAL’ भी शामिल है।

एयरक्राफ्ट बनाने के लिए अनुभव नहीं होने के बावजूद आखिर Reliance को क्यों चुना गया?

Reliance कंपनी का एक अंग ‘Reliance Defence’ है, जो Reliance ग्रुप द्वारा Pipavav Shipyard को खरीदने के बाद अस्तित्व में आई थी। Pipavav कंपनी पहले से ही भारतीय नौसेना के लिए जंगी जहाज और युद्धपोत बनाने का काम कर रही थी। इसका मतलब यह हुआ कि इस कंपनी को इस क्षेत्र में काम करने का अनुभव पहले से था। साथ ही भारत के रक्षा क्षेत्र में निजी साझेदारों को शामिल करने की मंजूरी अभी-अभी प्राप्त हुई है। यही वजह है कि देश में ऐसी बहुत कम कंपनियां हैं जो इस क्षेत्र में थोड़ा बहुत अनुभव रखती हैं। यह भारतीय कंपनियाँ भी कुछ विशेष उपकरण ही बना पाती हैं, पूरा प्रोडक्ट बनाने की क्षमता अभी इनके पास नहीं है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि UPA के कार्यकाल में जब MMRCA के लिए बोली लगाईं गई थी, तब भी Dassault कंपनी ने इसी Reliance कंपनी को अपना पॉर्टनर बनाया था, जो उस समय एक नयी-नवेली कंपनी थी और उनको ख़ास अनुभव भी नहीं था।

..तो फिर Reliance का इस डील से क्या संबंध है?

जैसा कि हमने पहले भी बताया है कि राफेल जेट भारत में नहीं बन रहे हैं, इसका मतलब यह हुआ कि Reliance उसे नहीं बना रहा है। यहाँ तक कि Reliance राफेल जेट के छोटे-मोटे कलपुर्जे (Parts) भी नहीं बना रहा है। जबकि सरकारी क्षेत्र की कंपनी HAL और कुछ अन्य कंपनियाँ राफेल के पार्ट्स बना रही हैं। Reliance कंपनी Dassault Aviation के Falcon 2000 जेट के लिए कुछ पार्ट्स बनाएगी जो एक सिविल जेट प्लेन है। Reliance कंपनी अब Dassault Aviation के निर्यातकों की लिस्ट में शामिल हो गया है, बल्कि इसने काम भी शुरू कर दिया है और कुछ पार्ट्स फ़्रांस भेजने भी शुरू कर दिए हैं।

राफेल जेट की खरीद प्रक्रिया में शामिल किये गए Offset बाध्यता के तहत, Dassault कंपनी इस संयुक्त उपक्रम में 100 मिलियन यूरो निवेश करने वाली है। यानि कि कुल Offset मूल्य का सिर्फ 3% रिलायंस कंपनी में निवेश के रूप में वापस आएगा। अतः Reliance को 20 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर नहीं मिलने वाला जैसा कि राहुल गाँधी आरोप लगा रहे हैं। निवेश की गई राशि को यूरो से डॉलर में कन्वर्ट करने पर लगभग ‘120 मिलियन’ अमेरिकी डॉलर होते हैं। अतः 20 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर एक मनगढंत राशि है।

फ़्रांस के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति होलांद का क्या आरोप था?

दरअसल उन्होंने कुछ भी आरोप नहीं लगाया था। सबसे पहले एक फ्रेंच मैग्ज़ीन ने राष्ट्रपति होलांद के हवाले से कहा कि भारत सरकार ने Reliance को पार्टनर बनाने की सिफारिश की है। उनके इस बयान के बाद फ़्रांस की वर्तमान सरकार और Dassault कंपनी ने बयान जारी किया। फ्रेंच सरकार ने अपने बयान में कहा कि Dassault और Reliance के बीच हुए समझौतों से फ्रेंच सरकार का कोई लेना-देना नहीं है क्योंकि ये दोनों एक प्राइवेट फर्म हैं। वहीँ Dassault कंपनी ने अपने बयान में कहा कि उन्होंने Reliance को अपनी शर्तों पर पार्टनर चुना है, इसके लिए किसी ने उन पर कोई दबाव नहीं डाला है। बाद में पूर्व फ्रेंच राष्ट्रपति ने भी माना कि इस तरह के किसी दबाव की उन्हें जानकारी नहीं है।

यह सच है कि अनिल अंबानी को पार्ट्स बनाने के कॉन्ट्रैक्ट हासिल हुए हैं, लेकिन वे कॉन्ट्रैक्ट नागरिक विमानों के कलपुर्जे बनाने के हैं, ना कि राफेल जेट के, जिन्हें भारत सरकार खरीद रही है।

As a common citizen of India I was aware of the term Naxal as someone who are fighting for their rights, their land, only after filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s Buddha In A Traffic Jam came into picture, a well researched film on the Naxals and leftists. One understands that the whole Naxal thing is just a keep poor lacking basic amenities, use them and fulfill their agenda of capturing the Indian state by armed violence.

As the film became a reference point to understand the basic tactics of leftists in educational institutions across India, the new term #UrbanNaxals came into picture. General educated Indians were never aware that anyone next to them can be #UrbanNaxal, an ideology which is more dangerous than terrorism coming from Imran Khan’s Pakistan.

I was always a supporter of Narendra Modi, not because of the ideology ,not because of the advertisement, not because of the choice, just because I can clearly see his intentions of making India a strong country. The man who talks about together all, development for all.

On achievement of 4 years of successful government, I happened to shot a short video  #MyPrimeMinisterModi. Almost on zero budget just to showcase the achievement of the government, as development for all. After I started sharing the video on my twitter timeline, requesting every supporter to share and give feedback, I was overwhelmed by the support and love, off course there is a hidden desire to showcase my directorial skill and get appreciated for it. I noticed a few people from the industry whom I was proud that I have good rapport, started going silent on interaction with me. It never really affected me as I know I am nobody and their contact with me was an honour for me.

I was writing a scrip for a long. I can say it as my dream project marking my entry into the so called Bollywood. I was promised by this producer for the fund after he heard my story and my intentions of making a great festival film. It was my dream to represent country in international festivals, as this is what fascinates me.

What follows after is really disturbing for me, during summers the producer refused to meet me saying he is abroad. Then busy and finally putting his hands up. I took it as a bad fate which is normal for strugglers like me to think and blame fate. Few days back, I learned from a trusted friend that it all happened for a video I shot appreciating the government, appreciating Narendra Modi. I never thought this far that this would upset someone from the film Industry, someone who does not want to upset people in the industry.

For the moment I cursed myself for making such video and losing an opportunity. Next moment I refuse to part with my ideology of nation building and supporting the right people for it. I took it as another opportunity to continue struggle. Look at the life of Narendra Modi,he got  all, abuse, humiliation, loneliness. But with right intention he is able to take India to next level and will do so for years to come. I am strong now, life goes on.

मोदी जी के पास समय कम और काम बहुत ज्यादा हैं

भाजपा ने जब कश्मीर में गवर्नर रूल लगाया था, उस बात को अब लगभग तीन महीने बीत चुके हैं. गवर्नर रूल लगाकर कश्मीर को अगर सेना के सुपुर्द किया गया होता तो आज कश्मीर घाटी से देशद्रोहियों और आतंकवादियों का नमो निशाँ मिट गया होता. यह बात किसी से छिपी हुई नहीं है कि कश्मीर घाटी में रहने वालों में से लगभग ९० प्रतिशत लोग या तो आतंकवादी हैं या फिर देशद्रोही हैं और मृत्यु दंड के अधिकारी हैं. कश्मीर में सेना के जवान और पुलिस कर्मी दोनों ही कश्मीरी आतंकवादियों के निशाने पर हैं – कभी इन्हे मार दिया जाता है और कभी इन्हे कश्मीरी आतंकवादियों द्वारा अगवा कर लिया जाता है.

कश्मीर में महबूबा मुफ्ती, अब्दुल्ला बाप-बेटे, गुलाम नबी आज़ाद और हुर्रियत के नेता अक्सर ही ऐसे बयान देते रहते हैं, जिन्हे सिर्फ देश विरोधी कहा जा सकता है. इन सभी लोगों को सरकार ने करदाताओं के पैसे पर सुरक्षा भी प्रदान की हुई है. इन सभी लोगों की सुरक्षा हटाकर इन्हे सेना के हवाले करने की बजाये, सरकार इधर उधर की बातों में अपना समय ख़राब कर रही है.

कश्मीर की बात छोड़ दें तो कमोबेश यही हाल न्यायपालिका द्वारा कार्यपालिका के कार्यक्षेत्र में गैरजरूरी दखलंदाज़ी और अतिक्रमण का है, जिससे निपटने में भी सरकार फिलहाल तो नाकाम नज़र आ रही है. जितने लोगों ने भी पिछले ६० सालों में अरबों खरबों का भ्रष्टाचार किया था, वे सब के सब जमानत पर रिहा कर दिए गए हैं और लगभग आज़ाद घूम रहे हैं. खुद प्रधानमंत्री की हत्या की साज़िश करने वाले अर्बन नक्सलियों को “सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्ता” बताकर महिमामंडित किया जा रहा है और उन्हें “हाउस अरेस्ट” की सुविधा प्रदान की जा रही है, जबकि देश के किसी भी कानून में इस तरह के “हाउस अरेस्ट” का कोई प्रावधान नहीं है. सरकार इन सब बातों से यह कहकर अपना पल्ला छुड़ाने में लगी हुई है कि जो काम अदालतें कर रही हैं, उसमे सरकार क्या कर सकती है. लेकिन देश में लोकतंत्र है और लोकतंत्र में चुनी हुई सरकार के पास सबसे अधिक अधिकार होते हैं, यह सभी को मालूम है. न्यायपालिका के साथ कैसे निपटा जाए, इसका फैसला सरकार को करना होता है, जनता को नहीं. जनता का काम सरकार को चुनने का है और जनता के प्रति जबाबदेही सरकार की है, न्यायपालिका की नहीं.

यह ठीक है कि अगले लोकसभा चुनावों में देश की जनता के पास भाजपा के अलावा और कोई विकल्प नहीं है क्योंकि बाकी सभी राजनीतिक दल न सिर्फ भ्रष्ट हैं, पूरी तरह से देशद्रोह के रास्ते पर भी चल रहे हैं और किसी भी हालत में जनता इन सभी लोगों की जमानत जब्त करवाने का मन बना चुकी है. लेकिन भाजपा सिर्फ TINA फैक्टर के सहारे अगर हाथ पर हाथ धरे बैठी रही तो बात बिगड़ भी सकती है.

कश्मीर समस्या और न्यायपालिका से निपटने के साथ साथ भाजपा को धारा ३७०, सामान आचार संहिता और राम मंदिर जैसे मुद्दों को निपटाने के लिए भी गंभीर प्रयास करने चाहियें. यह ठीक है कि यह सारे काम एक साथ और चुनावों से पहले अंजाम नहीं दिए जा सकते, लेकिन सरकार इनमे से कुछ कामों को शुरू करके देश की जनता के सामने अपनी तस्वीर तो साफ़ करे. अभी तक तो देश की जनता के सामने भी सरकार की मंशा को लेकर संशय की स्थिति बनी हुई है. देश की जनता के दिल का हाल नीचे लिखी हुई पंक्तियों में बेहतर तरीके से बयान किया जा सकता है:

समझने ही नहीं देती सियासत हम को सच्चाई
कभी चेहरा नहीं मिलता कभी दर्पण नहीं मिलता
