Is Duryodhana still under Dwaipayana sarovar after defeat or has come to the scene – blame everyone except the dynast

0

Even before the start of Mahabharat war, it was well known that Duryodhana would be defeated and killed. The reason was quite simple; Duryodhana was bad, malicious and greedy for power. No truth, dharma and virtues were on the side of Duryodhana. Duryodhana was simply claiming the throne of Hastinapur purely due to his entitlement and to attain power, he was ready to make any treacherous plots against Pandavas but on the contrary, dharma and truth were continuously with Pandavas. Further, the Lord Krishna always stood with Pandavas.

In the recent parliamentary election, several tukde tukde gangs rallied around the dynast simply to defeat Modi. The tukde tukde gangs believed that congress might somehow defeat BJP and that would favour the third front indirectly to form a corrupt government at the centre. On the contrary, the congress party also believed and made its calculations that the third front would somehow defeat BJP and that would benefit the congress party.

The irony was that both the regional parties and congress were riding on each other’s shoulder for power and all of them wants only one thing that defeat Narendra Modi because he is making India corruption free, ensuring sab ka vikas and national security. The dynastic politics, nepotism and corruption etc., cannot win if Modi continues as Prime Minister of India.

The election is over and the wise and grateful Indians have elected Narendra Modi back to power with landslide majority to be more decisive and firm in reforming India. None of the negative and hate propaganda of the dynast got any market and as a result, the dynast himself got defeated in his own family constituency in Amethi in UP. Naturally the defeat will not have any takers so the dynast blamed several of the senior leaders of the party that they gave more importance to their family than to the party and that was the reason why congress party got defeated badly, according to the dynast. The poll defeat shattered the entitlement politics of the dynast, caused great frustration and anger and he then announced that he would not head the party and want the party to find a president outside the Gandhi family.

Like Duryodhana, the dynast went on oblivion, like how Duryodhana hid under the Dwaipayana sarovar because he lost everything and was left with only three men, Ashwatthama, Kripacharya and Kritavarma, the dynast also went on long trance.

Exactly like Duryodhana, the dynast also refused to meet anyone, not willing to come out and was so helpless. Only difference in congress party from the story of Duryodhana is that the party men want the dynast to come back from his hibernation as without the dynast the party cannot exist.

It looks like the congress men want to destroy the dynastic culture in the party and the best way is to defeat the dynast repeatedly so that congress party is finished once for all. Until that time all those sycophants and members of the kitchen cabinet of the dynast can make their hay.

As long as Dyryodhana remain as Duryodhana, he will never win Mahabharat war against Pandavas as Pandavas represent truth and dharma. Similarly the dynast too will not win election against PM Modi and BJP because BJP is the party of honesty and credibility, party of merit and performance. On the other hand PM Modi is the embodiment of truth, dharma and virtues. Narendra Modi works overtime to develop India and achieve sab ka vikas. Bringing true Rama Rajya is the desire of PM Modi where every Indian are equal, have equal responsibility and right and equal opportunity as well.

Hinduism is more democratic than democracy, Hinduism is more inclusive than constitutional secularism and Hinduism is more tolerant than any professed ethos of tolerance. Modi and BJP wants such Hinduism, the culture and spirit of living human values to spread across India so that the barriers of caste, religion and race are subdued and humanity and universal brotherhood alone triumph.

People of India have understood the trueness of Modi and that is why they have reposed their faith enormously on Modi.

People must support Modi and BJP unconditionally to develop India and achieve sab ka vikas. The trust is the need of the hour which has been deeply destroyed by the hate and negative politics of congress and parties like DMK. Let us strengthen the hand so of Modi to build New India.

To delay or deny punishment; mixed bag response towards forced retirement of IT officials

0

The forced retirement of several senior officials in the finance ministry facing several charges although has sends a clear message to the top officials in various departments that either they should perform or must face the music. Unfortunately the same decision of the finance ministry also has received mixed bag response from within.

The intention of Modi government is clear that every government official is accountable and responsible and they cannot escape from punishment if they fail to discharge their duties to the country for which they are paid. The above stern stand of the government also has send a clear message to the officials that if the officials take political sides to jettison the governance to indirectly ensure some political advantage to the various political parties or its netas, will have to face the consequence. They are free to have their political affiliations but such affiliations should not demean the governance and their roles and responsibilities.

However, the above decision of the finance ministry also has its dark side. The inclusion of Sanjay Kumar Srivastava in the forced retirement scheme has raised serious doubts on whether the Delhi Lutyens are still powerful to influence the ministry.

Sanjay Kumar Srivastava was the one who did the investigation against NDTV fraud and former finance minister P Chidambaram.

People of  India has indeed elected Modi back again with great hope and confidence that in this term Modi government would ensure punishment to all those corrupt netas and officials. Therefore it is quite natural to doubt the true intention in forcing Sanjay Kumar Srivasta to retire from service.

The eminent thinker, intellectual, economic expert and the editor in chief of Tuglak magazine also raised doubt over asking Sanjay Kumar Srivastava to retire from service who exposed NDTV fraud and P Chidambaram.

Ashwini Mahajan is also of the view that the charges against Srivastava were framed by the then finance minister P Chidambaram and therefore he deserves support from the government but instead he is being removed unfairly.

The spirit of the dissent should not be misunderstood or misinterpreted.  All those who support Modi wants punishment to all those corrupt netas. Only when the corrupt netas are punished, the intent and credibility of the present government can be heightened. The 2G scam, Aircell Maxis, Coal, CWG etc., must be retried, the evidence that were not included in the previous investigations must be included, new and collaborative evidence must be brought out and the guilty must be punished.

The fear of all those who support Modi unconditionally are only about the Delhi Lutyens whether they are silently and secretly creeping in the government and are going to sabotage the investigations against P Chidambaram.

P Chidambaram and many of his associates tried their level best to trap Narendra Modi in several false cases but failed miserably.

When the scam against many of the congress and DMK netas are evident, the evidences are plenty; PM Modi must ensure speedy punishment of all those who looted India as per the law of the land.

Development of India also must include severe punishment of all those corrupt netas. In an effort to win the vishwas of people fell prey to the false propaganda of the dynast and other Tukde Tukde gangs in the last election, PM Modi should not lose the vishwas of all those support him unconditionally.

India sincerely wants BJP government to continue for ever and the party of dynast and other tukde tukde gangs must vanish and evaporate out from Indian politics.

People of India firmly believe that good and corruption free governance doesn’t require opposition and instead only need unconditional support of people.

PM Modi has proved to the world at large that his primary, secondary and tertiary focus is development, sab ka vikas and national security. India needs such good government of BJP and noble Prime Minister Modi. Indians also want to see all those corrupt netas spending their superannuation period inside prison for their corrupt practices when they were in power. The bag full of corruption worms of the party of the dynast must be exposed to the nation. Punishment of all those guilty must be put on fast track and only then India can be made really corruption free.

Why Tamil Nadu needs Hindi

0

The recently submitted new draft Educational Policy have stressed the need of unifying a nation with Hindi as third language to non-Hindi speaking states, had led to chaos in TamilNadu. Opposition Party DMK, Tamil National Fringe Groups, Evangelical Forces, Urban Naxals and Fundamental Islamist’s are once again sharpen their knife against BJP, especially against PM Modi (whom they have created them as a Monster to Tamil Nadu). Before going into the topic, let us know some basics.

Anti-national theme in Tamil Nadu is prevalent right from Pre Independence. They made their narrative to fume all the time. Right after the death of former CM Jayalaitha, their fume was made to fire for each and every issue which people had thought of. With the oration as their working capital, sympathy and emotion are their play card to grasp the mind of common people in Tamil Nadu, Their motive is to convert people to Christianity and fundamental Islamists which does jihad to turn the narrative towards its favor. For this purpose first they opposed Brahmanism to wipe off Hindu sentiments, second they decoded Ancient Tamil Literature with Evangelical flavor. Third they said Tamils are not Hindus, as they call Tamils as a separate Ethnicity. With this core objective, they are opposing each and every item which poses threat to their agenda. They are doing this act for many decades, and it took the serious role in the past five years and they are succeeded to it. If this trend continues, a headache of Bharat will not be Kashmir. It will be Tamil Nadu. The very name Tamil Nadu (a country of Tamil) itself is anti national. How come a state will become a country?

The role of Nationalistic Forces is limited to defending themselves than creating an agenda because Tamil Nadu politics and Media are biased and they report biased information. Most of the Media in Tamil Nadu are occupied with people of Naxals, Evangelists, Tamil Nationals and quite a few fundamental Islamists. The voice of Nationalists is unheard when they are defending them against the fake agenda. This was the main reason for huge loss to BJP alliance in Tamil Nadu. They lose out of fake narratives. Moreover it is not as easy to defeat the Anti-National ideologue which strengthened its root in Tamil Nadu for the past 60 years. Remember communism was not defeated in one day. It took years.

Why the need of vernacular language or mother tongue based medium of Instruction is required

Most Schools in Tamil Nadu are run by Christian missionaries, have created a thirst for English based medium of Instruction had led children in Tamil Nadu to study till the doctorate without even studying an Alphabet in Tamil. Interests in English among people had made government a paradigm shift to start English medium schools which is worrisome. As far as school education is concerned, only Government and government aided schools are having Tamil as medium of Instruction. Whereas 99% of private schools which has English as medium of instruction has its presence in every nook and corner of the state. Christian Missionaries had successfully deviated people from learning Tamil by creating an artificial Demand for English. This in back turns, evangelical forces are working hard to have an impact of the cross in each and every Ancient Tamil Literature. Christianizing Thirukural and its Author Thiruvalluvar is done at mass phase, we can count ‘n’ number of examples like this. Those political parties which oppose Hindi had never ever opened their mouth in support towards Native language as medium of instruction till Grade 8. Because Dravidian parties are the one helps evangelical forces to breed in Tamil Nadu.

By making native language as medium of Instruction, the futures will have multi point access to language, culture, tradition which in turn creates a stronger bond to Dharmic values. It helps or children to keep in touch with our roots, it makes them understand the subject widely, helps them to think and enlarges their brain. Native language teachers have more command to subject than those teachers who teaches the same in English. The need for indigenous languages is more in coming years because Mother India had lost more than 220 Languages after independence and losing a language in every 14 days because of dragonical presence of English. English is seen as death rider to many indigenous languages across the globe. Many African and American Nations have understood the drastic effect and shifted their policy towards promoting native languages. More the English more we curse ourselves. A person in Rural Areas without much of English knowledge is more Dharmic than his Urban Counterpart. The Urban guy questions our culture and traditions without much knowledge. This is what McCauley had dreamt. It’s time for us to throw English from our curriculum. We have left with one remedy that is nothing but having Native Language as medium of Instruction.

Why Political Parties are against Hindi?

The basic opposition to Hindi in Tamil Nadu is because it has Devanagari Script. Moreover, they accept Urdu which is 90% similar to Hindi to please the Muslims but hate Hindi. The Chennai Corporation runs a quite a large number of Urdu Medium primary schools in Muslim dominated areas. Mother Tamil went under many strange hardships by Dravidian rulers, where as they have changed the whole picture of the Language. Tamil being an ancient language on par with Sanskrit, the current generation people cannot even understand the words that were written 100 years before. What is the use of learning a language without knowing its past glory? Dravidian parties with the advent of New Tamil Alphabets and changed the literary of the beautiful language made the people to get out from knowing the roots. Evangelical and Marxian thoughts have ruined the language. That’s why these Anti National parties want English but not Hindi. If children had given room to learn Hindi, they would have had to close their hatred industry. They don’t want to leave a single stone to turn around towards nationalism. All they want is to keep the state in boiling which has support from Vatican. Previously, TamilNadu is the only state that rejects Hindi, but now other southern states like Andhra, Karnataka too opposes it because of increasing presence of Churches in these areas.

If The Draft report was accepted and formulated, children will have an easy access towards Hindi. Hindi and Sanskrit have same script. Children can have a know how to Classical Language. Being Sanskrit act as a link to other Indian languages, it will be truly a renaissance to Dharmic Culture and Traditions. Exchange of Ideas inside the nation will be easy and much more efficient in this most advanced technological world. It helps us to decode all the ancient texts, and we can have a unilateral peripheral system of learning. So instead of defending the government proposal let us create a trend called “We Need Hindi.”

The ‘Unfiltered’ Prime Minister

0

Let us take a trip down the British political history. Winston Churchill should have never been the Prime Minister of Great Britain as he was found lacking and deemed unsuitable for the highest office. It was shocking that he got elected to the post as he was more of a paranoid loose cannon and an impossible man to deal with. In many ways, he was a perfect foil to Neville Chamberlain, a leader who had done everything right and was the prototypical British prime minister. Now, as you read on, replace Churchill with Narendra Modi and Neville Chamberlain with Dr. Manmohan Singh in your mind.

Churchill was a maverick. He did not just love his country, but he displayed a clear paranoia towards any possible threat to the British empire. Like someone who’d not wait even for an hour to launch the Balakot strike post the Pulwama attack. He saw even Gandhi as a danger and was beyond outspoken in his opposition to what was a pacifist rebellion in India. He is not exactly the right analogy to use in the Indian context because he was responsible for the Bengal famine that claimed nearly 30 lakh lives. But for him, the interest of his soldiers fighting the World War II was the priority and he diverted the ration-laden ships to them, knowing well enough that it would lead to a massive famine in the Bengal region. He was the Chicken Little of Great Britain, passionately railing against all opposition to his country, great, small or imagined. It is this extreme love for his country bordering on paranoia that has made him one of the most revered names in world history.

This Chicken Little was the only one who saw Hitler for the threat he was. Chamberlain, on the other hand, regarded Hitler as ‘a man who could be relied upon when he had given his word.’ The entrenched British leadership was convinced that appeasing the Germans was the way to quell the Nazi power. Churchill thought differently. He didn’t believe Germans and saw Hitler as a schoolyard bully who’d not leave them alone even if they gave him their lunch money. He knew that Hitler wanted to sock them in the nose. Churchill’s paranoia – something that had nearly ruined his political career by 1930s – was exactly what Britain needed heading into World War II. And thankfully the British people realized this before it was too late. Something akin to 2014 – India’s need for a Prime Minister who loved his country and would protect it against all opposition – great, small or imagined.

So, what is it that makes a leader great? Gautam Mukunda, Professor in Organizational Behavior Unit at the Harvard Business School opines that there are actually two fundamentally different types of leaders. The first kind rises up through formal channels, getting promoted, playing by the rules, and meeting expectations. These leaders, like Neville Chamberlain or Dr. Manmohan Singh, are ‘filtered’. The second kind doesn’t rise up through the ranks, they come in through the window – entrepreneurs who don’t wait for someone to promote them; U.S. vice presidents who are unexpectedly handed the presidency; leaders who benefit from a perfect storm of unlikely events like the kind that got Abraham Lincoln elected; a paranoid Churchill trying to defend Britain against the German might;  or for that matter a three-time Chief Minister of Gujarat who had no experience of being a parliamentarian, let alone being the Prime Minister of India. This group is ‘unfiltered’.

They do unexpected things, have different backgrounds, and are often unpredictable. Yet they bring change and make a difference. Some of these unfiltered leaders are transformative, shedding organizations of their misguided beliefs and foolish consistencies, and turning them toward better horizons. These are the leaders that research says have an enormous positive impact.

In his Ph.D. thesis, Mukunda applied his theory to all the U.S. presidents, evaluating which ones were filtered and which unfiltered, and whether or not they were great leaders. The results were overwhelming. His theory predicted presidential impact with an almost unheard-of statistical confidence of 99 percent. The filtered leaders didn’t rock the boat. The unfiltered leaders couldn’t help but rock it. Often, they broke things, but sometimes they broke things like slavery, as Abraham Lincoln did.

According to Mukunda, the difference between good leaders and great leaders is not an issue of ‘better’. They’re fundamentally different people. Had the British seen the failure of appeasement and said, ‘Get us a better Neville Chamberlain’, they would have been devastated. Had Indians said, ‘Get us a better Manmohan Singh’, they would have been equally devastated.

They didn’t need a more filtered leader. Rather, they needed a maverick. The old ways didn’t work and doubling down on them would have been disastrous. To fight a menace like Hitler, Britain needed a Churchill. To fight the menace of serial scams and break-India forces, India needed a Modi.

Finally, what is it that makes these unfiltered leaders so impactful? Mukunda says that often they had unique qualities that differentiated them. Like Churchill’s paranoid defense of the British state, these qualities were negative but under right circumstances could be very enabling. Mukunda calls these ‘intensifiers’ and they hold the secret to how your biggest weakness might just be your greatest strength. As Modi puts it, it is his near total lack of experience when it comes to meeting and negotiating with global leaders that actually helped him in doing the same. He has always been direct in everything as far as his approach is concerned and it is this directness that global leaders saw as a welcome change in diplomacy too.

Save the saviours

0

So now saviours start protesting for their safety. This news totally downcasted me from past two days.

Attack on a young junior doctor in NRS hospital West Bengal. A doctor who was doing his rounds just like every other day got his skull fractured by goons just because one patient died in their hospital.

This is so cruel. A young man who was about to save lives was near to death in his own hospital. 200 people attacking doctors cannot be justified by anything.

Now I hear people saying doctors can go and save lives instead of protesting. Can you imagine how medical aspirants lead their life? From the age of 16 they start focusing just in their studies instead they could enjoy like any other teenagers.

Once a student aspires to become a doctor he dedicates his life to it. He will be studying half of life where to incise the wound and where they shouldn’t cut. We accept our surgical scrubs as our skin and Hospital as our home. We leave our family, friends, relatives, functions ,festivals, parties, and all other social engagements.

One night we get a call about a critical stage of patient, we run in mid night just to save a patient life even after our 48 hours shift. We completely give our life in saving patients life besides his caste, race, religion or gender.

If a patient dies, everyone blames the doctors without a second thought. Doctor always tries to do his level best or more than it. He can stretch to any extent just to save a life of his patient.

Have you ever heard of post operation trauma? Not just the patients but most doctors go through this trauma when they cannot save a life even by doing every possible thing they could. A doctor never forgets how he lost his patient, he worries about his patients more than their own families or even themselves. Being doctor isn’t a easy job you need to have a courage of Saint where you can leave everything & just focus on your work.

You never know what he is going through. Remember doctor tries to save his patient no matter how worse their situation may be.

Of course doctors aren’t god but they are courageous fierce people who could leave anything just to save your life.

When you attack a doctor you are not just attacking a single person. It’s an attack on hope, trust, sacrifice, comprises we made all our lives just to be there in hospital.

You attacked one among us, definitely it made us outraged. We need justice to our fellow human, we need safety. Till then you find doctors protesting and none gonna hold a scalpel and operate.

We want government to look after this sensitive issue and do the needful ASAP.

Bihar shows way to respect elderly

0

Old age is often linked with different kinds of problems. Considering this significant point the Bihar government’s fresh decision to punish the irresponsible wards with jail term against abandoning their parents raises hopes of parental care. Every ward will, therefore, develop a commendable character. One step can be a big leap in the right positive direction. Who can deny the older elders’ value in the homely life? They are indeed the true capital of our society.

We had a few days ago experienced how an old age woman was beaten by her own daughter-in-law in Haryana. That was neither human nor humane. Nevertheless, it was a hard reality of our human society. We seem to forget that the frailty encases everyone on the living planet. The weaker body changes the thinking towards life. The wards begin to see their parents as a total burden thereby forcing them to wander out of their homes. Some dump their old parents in the old-age homes and do not even come to visit them anymore.

When we are influenced with the glare of money the elderly appear as an economic liability. That was how we think that old age was definitely a bane. Aging coagulates likes and dislikes of an old person, his or her prejudices, perceptions and value judgments that reject straightly to acknowledge the reality of aging.  This inferiority does not remain confined only to the commoners, but the Royals too are facing the music. England’s Prince Philip, with a ripe age of 98 years had no desire whatsoever to reach the age of one hundred years. Was it his fear or depression? Once he stated he could not imagine anything worse than turning 100. “Bits of me are falling off already,” he pointed out. He had retired from the royal duties two years ago.

Denial of longing for living a little longer life exposes human’s nature. When we remain young we conceal our real and accurate age by miscalculating the age but the old age becomes a burden. The American culture of addressing matured people uncle has propelled the market forces to cover young people owing to their trendy outlook and leaving the older ones on the side. Though older people have been given financial position, the decision on part of Nitish Kumar himself an aged Chief Minister could have an extensive impact on our traditional society. The state with the highest percentage of elderly is Kerala where they make up 12.6 % of the population. The least number of elderly live in Arunachal Pradesh with merely 4.6 % while Meghalaya stands at 4.7%. According to Census, 2011, there were nearly 104 million elderly persons in the country.

Farmers Market

0

India is a nation dependent on farming, if considering it as business farming is one of the best businesses but there are some problems associated with current condition of farmers and currently in India, it is miserable at best and there are several reasons for it:

  1. Dependency on the government to established MSP
  2. Farmers in India do not take farming as a business
  3. Middlemen or Dalal decide prices rather than farmers.
  4. Low prices to farmers and middlemen earn better than farmers.

Now coming to think about prices the actual buyer, buyer doesn’t get lower prices but gets prices what sellers and middlemen decide.

Middlemen go in groups with pre-decided prices reach to farmers and farmers have to sell whatever they grow to dalals with lower prices so the farmers do not get prices that can actually help them or the prices which they want to sell their growing.

If we take price of every seed, which is being sold to farmers plus cost of water and electricity plus price of diesel which farmers use in their vehicles on field then price of whatever they grow, will be higher than what they get in local market. Problem here is middlemen which go to farmer with lower prices and farmer has to agree with their prices because farmer has to sell for money and to keep business alive.

Coming to the problem of middlemen it is not possible for the government to remove middlemen overnight, so there should be a way that farmers get prices they want and then farming will grow as a business.

A simple answer is Farmers Market, which every country has where farmers grow and farmers or their adult kids sell whatever grows at the prices they decide.

There are some problems with this system and the first problem is water and for the government will have to connect each and every river. 64% of water goes back inside the sea every year so connecting rivers should be a priority and after that availability of water won’t be a problem anymore

Second problem is there is not a place where farmers can sell at prices which they decide so government will have to open farmers market like every developed country in the world but problem is, people would get scared that it’d suddenly increase prices of vegetables and fruits would suddenly reach to unthinkable levels. At this point government can intervene, this way the government will not have to decide prices but government would just decide prices should not go over more than 2-2.5 times the prices of grown vegetables or fruits.

For this BJP will have to call a nationwide meeting of every minister who is handling farming in his/her state and that minister would describe what prices should farmers get and where he’d establish markets with a fixed price.

Minister will also get a list of farming and what his/her state is growing that way this would be faster to decide.

Another problem is not every farmer has his/her own carrying vehicle, and places to keep whatever they grow like cold storage or large spaces to store vegetable/fruit. The government can help here by purchasing vehicles for this purpose and can support cold storage financially so farmers can store their growing at minimal prices.

The last problem is where to open these stores and for that either local market can be opened for farmers or in outskirts of city markets can be established. People living in the city can reach and purchase. Local shop owners too can reach and then sell at little profit of their own so prices do not go way too high for final customers.

This way government won’t have to waive off loans as it has been happening from decades and that way bank NPAs too won’t increase which in end normal people have to pay with increased bills of water, electricity, and petrol as we can see currently in Rajasthan, my state.

I hope this scheme would properly be executed so farmers who should get respect for hard work they do will get respect and they will not have to reach out in cities to work as labor on sites because this is what I see on the construction site where I work. Then again this is like solving all the problems of farmers and that’s going to destroy a vote bank which currently just looks to government to solve all the problems and just deciding MSP is not the solution at all but removing middlemen and establishing market surely will improve conditions of farmers.

I hope this reaches to concerned officials.

The meme on CM-Yogi Adityanath is offensive

0

The meme posted (although retweeted with some literature added) by a Delhi -based freelance journalist (by name Prashant Kanojia) is highly objectionable. It’s tantamount to character assassination. In a vast and highly populated country like India people of all sorts say different kinds of things. The girl in the video expressed certain feelings on the CM out of her own choice, which the private channel in Noida, that too the channel with no licence, should not have broadcast the content without verifying the veracity. Did they broadcast to create sensation, or for the popularity of the channel (whose viewership is perhaps limited), or to degrade or denigrate the image of the saffron-clad monk – are all questions.

To justify the meme on the grounds of freedom of expression (in this case humour) is erroneous. It could easily be understood that the person who tweeted has his own bias against the popular leader. He wouldn’t have done on someone who he esteems high. This can be said with lines he added that he would support and help the love… Yogi ji blah-blah. It’s awful. Who gave him the right? Would he, as a person, agree if he was mocked that way? By doing so, the journalist is questioning the ‘orderly discipline of Yogis’. That’s the bigger mistake.

In Indian tradition, a Yogi is revered. They (Yogis) are unperturbed by any worldly attractions including the love by a woman, in the sense, for carnal pleasures. Have they (the Yogis) had desire for such pleasures, they shouldn’t become monks in the first place. Whether every monk is true to his ‘order of life’ or not, is not in the realm of speculation unless proved otherwise. Similarly, there are widows from political dynasties. They are respected. Never made memes on them on their personal lives to have love on someone in the manner that the particular meme expressed. That goes against Bharat’s ethos and traditions. There can be humour. There can be sarcasm. But not at the cost of ridiculing and maligning a public figure by encroaching in to personal sphere. In any case, Yogi ji is not the friend of the journalist to crack jokes on.

There are in place ‘privacy laws’ for writing a book. Those guidelines are to be strictly adhered to. For, a book goes into public. People read and will form some impressions mentioned on the characters in it. If it’s purely fiction, it is okay. If it’s non-fiction and the persons are still alive, the writer/ author has to be very careful while writing about them. Specially, privacy laws come into picture while writing personal things. If something goes wrong on that front, the author can be sued for defamation in the court. Now the book reading sections have reduced. Since the advent of social media, the public started reading instant short messages in WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter etc. These messages convey, better than books, the essential gist to the readers in the manner they could comprehend. So most of them have fallen prey to social media than to have a serious reading of books to deduce meaning to themselves.

In the aforesaid scenario, there should be some caveats or riders to contain the unwarranted information with regard to privacy of individuals specially for those vulnerable- in positions of public office. The above mentioned journalist retweeted with a comment which is poor in taste but could potentially be sensational as he was in a way justifying what the girl has said with his comment on it. Specially Twitter, is a medium, where you compress your thought in limited words but has a humongous weight. The video of the girl has become a handy tool to him to carry his mission of promoting his channel and vilification of the politician he disagrees/hates.

Now that the journalist’s wife has knocked the doors of Supreme Court, it has to be seen where this freedom of expression leads to. India is not a western country to implement free speech to any height. This country has a tradition in which, to raise questions on some matters, without a rhyme or reason, is not allowed in public. Can anyone name at least ‘one’ western country with a long-standing tradition? No. They have no traditions to bind them. Liberals in the mainstream news channels have been making a big hue and cry on the journalist’s freedom of speech. To a large extent, this journalist, has violated his freedom. To what degree and also the quantum of punishment imposed on now, is it commensurate with the violation or not, could be discussed and there are laws to measure that. However, this punitive measure taken on him justifiably or not, may work as a deterrent to many.

Earlier (on 8th June 2019) Madras High Court denied anticipatory bail to the BJP Leader S Ve Shekher who allegedly shared a derogatory Facebook post on women journalists, the court has observed that sharing or forwarding a message in social media is equal to accepting and endorsing the message specially, in case, when a celebrity-like person forwards messages, the common person will start believe it. The journalist in Yogi-retweet case, is no common man. He should abide by journalistic norms of truth.

To those who vouch for an bridled freedom, it could easily be said that one day that kind of freedom would dissolve the strong elements of age-old traditional society of India, leading to chaos.

Half-truth journalism cannot defeat BJP and Modi

The arrest and subsequent interference of Supreme Court to release the journalist Prashant Kanojia on bail for posting very derogatory information about the Honourable Chief Minister of Utter Pradesh was initially described by some jaundiced media houses as an assault on free speech and the court has finally restored it.

Some media houses still think that they can easily distort facts and sell fictions and make people of India to turn against BJP. But people are smart, intelligent and are certainly with BJP and Modiji and they are not going to believe any amount of false propaganda of the so called neo-liberals.

The court has released the journalist on bail and termed the arrest as unwarranted because the crime doesn’t deserve custodial interrogation. However the crime deserves prosecution and punishment.

In the name of freedom and free speech, one can at best only express his or her opinion and views and cannot plant a story to defame someone’s reputation. Such crime cannot be excused in the name of free speech. Making fun must be differentiated from planting a fictitious story about a monk – Yogi Adithyanath aimed to defame him. BJP has several committed and selfless workers and they are continuously tracking various developments in India and how the sycophants of several dynastic parties and coolies of neo-liberals are spreading lies about BJP. The selfless workers of BJP will certainly communicate to people in the society about all these vicious stories of the neo-liberals. India is not going to believe all these pseudo journalists and the fox in goat’s skin.

The arrest was not needed for the above crime was the observation of the court and hence the journalist was asked to release on bail. Prosecution procedure shall continue for the derogatory posts of the journalist. But the cardinal aspect of court’s intervention some media houses does not want to speak about but are up in the arm to claim freedom of speech is being restored by Supreme Court of India.

The BJP in general and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular demand accountability, responsibility and dedication from every institution and also from the citizen. To build New India and achieve sab ka vikas, people must stay together with one vision and no one should be allowed to disintegrate the unity and ethos of one India. Politically, Modi has defeated all those divisive forces and dynastic forces that want to break India to capture power. People of India stood with Modi and did not believe the collective and mass propaganda of the dynast and other tukde tukde gangs against Modi. The volume of lies and hate politics they tried to sell to the voters in India did not succeed and the wise Indians voted back Modi with overwhelming majority.

Journalism and free speech must be in the framework of fairness and such privileges should not be used to defame some ones impeccable integrity and reputation. Yogi Adithyanath is one of the few honest leaders in India, committed to develop the state and spread the message of universal love of Hinduism. His life is an open book. In the name of freedom of speech if the journalist wants to oppose and criticize some of the policies and governance of Yogi Adithyanath can be accepted but not planting fabricated stories to defame his reputation.

The lobby and some media houses must learn the strong lesson that even the fundamental right comes with reasonable restrictions. BJP is a party of credible and honest leaders, people who are committed to India, selfless workers and patriots. Unlike several dynastic parties that consider the interest of the family first than India, for Modi, India always comes first and not BJP or his Prime Minister Chair.

All those prejudiced and jaundiced media houses must come forward and must support PM Modi to build New India where politics of development and sab ka vikas shall be the focus and not corruption and nepotism or development of dynasty.

Abuse of power comes only when people misuse their freedom and not when they follow discipline and act responsibly. The new India that PM Modi envisage is going to make the life of all those prejudiced media houses also better and prosperous and therefore support PM Modi and BJP to build New India.

India needs merit and not dynastic forces.  Performance and not abuse and isolation of talents and meritocracy, India wants.

Media houses must engage in spreading positive messages of PM Modi’s good governance and must offer constructive suggestions to make India a great country.
