Is this a period of ideological inversion in India?

0

“Any organization or enterprise that is not expressly right wing will become left wing over time” – O’Sullivan’s law (for the Indian context, right- and left-wing in the O’Sullivan’s law need to be replaced with pro-Hindu and ‘secular’, respectively).

Before getting into the point I want to make about present day Indian politics, we need to take a small detour to look at the politics and history of another major democracy, USA. If you are someone who does not know or did not care about the American politics, you should start now. A lot of economic ideas and political strategies we see in India today are inspired greatly from that country.

In America, electoral politics is primarily a 2 horse race. There is the right-of-centre Republican Party which is pro-business, anti-immigration, advocates minimum government spending, etc. Support for Republicans comes mostly from White, Caucasian, Christian voters in the Middle and Southern states of the US, an area popular as the Bible belt. The Democratic party on the other hand is highly popular among the African-Americans, immigrants, other minority groups in the Northern and East- and West-Coastal states. And the Democrats promote left-of-centre, socialist and Liberal policies.

This is the picture now, but was not always so if we look back at the history of US. Till as recently as 1960’s the Democrats were the party of southern Christians and Republicans were stronger in the North. Democrats were the party that enacted Jim Crow laws that legalized racial segregation and the Republicans were the party of anti-slavery politicians like Abraham Lincoln. For some time following the 60’s was a period of ideological inversion in American politics when Leftist party became Right and Rightist party became Left. This History article has some background on how that happened. More information in a video here.

I believe India is currently going through a similar period of ideological inversion. The self-avowed pro-Hindu (Hindutva), pro-business party of Indian politics, BJP, is slowly morphing into a ‘secular’-socialist party. This is apparent in the actions and policies party has pursued in the states and at the Center during the last few years.

BJP, since its inception, was know as the Bania party (i.e party of businessmen). Between 1999 and 2004, Atal Bihari Vajpayee headed the first full-term government of the party. This was also the first ever full term non-Congress Government in independent India. Atalji’s was, most will agree, to date the most right-of-center dispensation India has had, not only in the rhetoric or optics but in the governance policies it pursued – taxation, culture, education, infrastructure, telecom, social sector spending, investment in PSUs. Unfortunately those 5 glorious years of economic progress and wealth creation were followed by the most wretched decade, characterized by corruption, ineptitude, socialistic policies and blatant sectarianism. It was truly a decade of decay and the Indian growth story came to a halt.

When BJP stormed back to power in 2014, it was the first time a party received full majority in the Parliament after 30 years. That’s how frustrated India was with booming corruption, a stagnant economy and sectarian policies. The party’s ascension to power this time was aided to a big extent by the pre-election message of hope offered by it’s PM candidate, Narendra Modi.

An oft repeated “principle” of Modi in the run-up to 2014 elections was “minimum government, maximum governance“. He emphatically pronounced, repeatedly, that “government has no business to do business” as the core of this principle. Yet, more than 5 years since he assumed office as the most powerful PM India has seen in a generation, probably for the 1st time since Indira Gandhi, the government continues to dump thousands of crores every year in an attempt to revive loss making PSUs.

While continuing to do business, Modi’s government has also been aggressively spending tax-payer money to distribute freebies. Free house, free toilet, free gas connection, free electricity connection, free medicines, free healthcare, free this and free that. All this is in addition to continuing the rights based socialism of the previous regime – right to education, right to food, right to employment (MNREGA).

Between 2014 and 2019, many BJP supporters justified Modi’s sharp left-turn as a shrewd political strategy to avoid the fate of Atalji’s government in 2004. The implication was that socialism was a temporary diversion due to electoral compulsions. The government and party would resume the work started by Atalji once ‘Congress mukt Bharat’ was realized. If anything, early signs indicate that post-2019 BJP has embarked on a mission to decisively capture the socialist mantle from Congress and allies. The 1st budget of the new government signals that. Finance minister’s pronouncements after the budget about income redistribution and Gandhian trusteeship confirm that.

Since the constitutional amendment by Rajiv Gandhi-led Congress government to appease Islamic fundamentalists following the Shah Bano verdict, BJP’s constant, and probably most successful, slogan has been ‘justice for all, appeasement of none’. With Modi’s ascension as the undisputed supremo of the party, it was amended to ‘sabka saath, sabka vikaas’. Though the new slogan translates to ‘support for all, development for all’, it was assumed to mean the same as the party’s old slogan. This assumption was strengthened by the numerous pronouncements of Modi following his anointment as the party’s PM candidate (for eg).

However, more than 5 years since his election as PM, not only have the laws, policies and schemes that defined the appeasement politics of Congress and friends become further entrenched with increased fund allocations, more such have been rolled out or are in works – the minority-only scholarships, minority-only common service centres, minority-only coaching for UPSC/government job exams, minority-only crafts bazaars, etc.

Today’s BJP, for all intents and purposes, has given up the “appeasement of none” credo and is aggressively appropriating the ‘secular’ tag from its original claimants. If BJP is the new socialist-secular party, who is the new pro-Hindu, pro-business party of India? That is a question for which there is no clear answer, yet. The Congress party is down in the dumps, probably for good. Unless they do something dramatic and unearth an inspirational leader, the party is beyond recovery. Commies are past the dead stage and are anyway too ideological to be able to pivot. The original Hindutva party, Savarkar’s Hindu Mahasabha, is worse off than even the commies. A completely new right-of-centre party that can challenge the organizational might of BJP/RSS is not practical, at least not in the short-term of next 10 years or so.

That leaves the regional parties. Most of these were formed by leaders with a strong local support base in opposition to the dominant party of the time, Congress. One of their strong selling points is to fight for the state’s rights by resisting the party at the Centre. With Congress now out of picture, their next natural opponent is BJP. These parties are also incredibly opportunistic and devoid of any ideology other than acquiring power. They will adopt any policy as long as that can help them win elections.

So, till a pan-national alternative to BJP emerges, it is probably the regional parties that are going to form the alternative pole to the current ‘secular’-socialist governance.

The secret payload on Chandrayaan 2

0

3, 2, 1, 0, Lift-off!
And the majestic Chadrayaan 2 took-off.

The team heaved a sigh of relief. Anubhuti stood in a corner, smiling. Her task was done. The mission accomplished.

Unknown to the rest of the world, the Rover had a top-secret payload embedded within its core, only to be released on the lunar surface, from where it would be set-off to its final destination.

Those in the knowing of this mission were Earth-loving, genuinely humane people – warriors of truth love karm and light. Anubhuti was one of them. She was relieved, and closed her eyes with humility, murmuring a silent prayer of gratitude. Her mentor, the venerable seer-scientist M.OM, had bestowed upon her the ancient technique of dhyan that could merge the truth of the Vedas and facts of science to create a powerful tool, which could compress even the most stubborn, fierce, egoistic and powerful ‘people-essence’ into bhaav energy. Bhaavs were vapourised feels capable of travelling and manifesting even in deep space.

The Universe was created through bhaav as stated in the Bhagwadgita, and the same technique was being used today to accomplish the seemingly impossible.

The payload was unique. It was small, perhaps the size of an eye of a needle, yet it could contain large egos, inflated arrogance and a lot of evil.

It was dark. Very dark.

Its abject denseness contained the essence of all that was hindering the growth of humanity. Negativity had been sucked up and placed into it.

It contained the following –
1. Buddhujeevis – These were the new breed of intellectuals that roamed the Earth. Some of them were also known as ‘pseudo-liberals.’ They assumed themselves to be high in intellect, however, their sensitivity and conscience – the two elements, that created ‘samvedna’ or empathy, were missing. Hence, they always ended up using their gifted intelligence to support the wrong causes. Recently, 49 of them had ganged up to write a letter on selective outrage, that actually outraged the seer-scientists enough for them to take a call to have them bottled up for ever.

2. Nonetaji’s – Popularly known as politicians, these were public representatives who were currently the most mis-trusted of all humans. Their sense of self-appropriation, and self-worth was enormous and Anubhuti and her team had a tough time containing them. Only the chant of ‘Jai Shree Ram,’ could neutralise them.

Nonetas had forgotten that their true purpose was to serve the masses who elected them, and that ‘public-servant’ did not mean that the public was their servant! Having met a few of them personally, Anubhuti had been shocked to hear their tales of greed, lust and arrogance. A few from the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir thought it to be prudent to offer themselves for transportation to another world, since the current political dispensation at New Delhi, had ensured that their separatist politics came to an end. They were jobless and totally useless on Earth now. They simply had to go! The world was better off without them.

3. Mor-hammered Mulas, Converter Beeshopps, Sowhammy Beyond-anandas etc. – Ah! The brokers of religion. These were the ones who created a false narrative — that the only way to connect to the Supreme energies, which had created the universe and all of humanity, was through them. Their fear-mongering and hatred for others had caused huge rifts on Earth and she was in pain. To heal her, humanity had to reconnect directly with Nature and follow her laws. It was paradoxical that those who claimed to know the way were the most mis-guided! Fearful ‘Peacefuls’ topped the list. Hypocrisy was their dharma, and true dharma – righteousness, has no place for hypocrisy.

4. Then came Anubhuti’s personal favourites, those suffering from a grave disease of Lutyenitis. Since no cure was available for this insufferable ailment, transporting them out of the Earth’s aura was the only solution. Future generations had to be protected from this terrible curse that created humongous self-obsessed egos, a complete failure to connect with truth and ones’ inner self. Negating everything that did not suit their mind-set, the conscience of those inflicted by this disease was dead and they were perpetually living in a world that seemed to be a creation of their thoughts. Many Buddhujeevi’s, Liberals and Nonetas suffered from this disease too.

Historically, Lutyenitis seemed to have originated in the city of Hastinapur, when it’s masters, the Kaurvas, refused to share even a piece of land as small as the eye of the needle that was transporting them today. They even used a person of Bheeshma pitmah’s stature, twisting his pledge to their advantage. Their sense of entitlement was comparable only to that of a famous political party of today, which has no president and is rightly called the ‘Kaun-guess.’

So, carrying this rather potent payload, the Rover was to land at the south pole, on the dark side of the moon.

For eons, the moon has had a role to play in nurturing humanity. Through its cycles it not only affects human nature, but also provides rasa or flavor to all plants, fruit, healing herbs and is the cause for creativity on Earth. Since the payload was carrying those who had mis-used their lunar energies, they were perfectly suited for the lunar shade.

From here, a time-capsule would plummet them towards a black hole. Nothing ever escapes its dense blackness, not even light. Only the seers know its secrets. Perhaps in time, these imperfect ones would be re-cycled for growth and transformation. Nature knows best, after all she is everyone’s MOM, ‘amma.’

NMC – Let us bring merit and ethics in medical education and practice, define AYUSH for paramedical benefit

0

The National Medical Council (NMC) bill was passed both in parliament and Rajya sabha granting the bill the much needed legal sanctity. The bill would replace the 63 year old Medical Council of India (MCI) act of 1956. More than any regulation in our medical education and profession through an enactment of a stringent law, the ethical aspects of medical profession needs to be regulated otherwise our health care delivery system would suffer greatly and the poor people will be the natural victims of the exploitation by the treating physician. Ignorance, utter helplessness and penury of the patients are rampantly getting exploited and which is a day light truth in India.

Subjecting poor patients to unnecessary diagnosis, warranting them to avoidable surgery, prolonged hospitalization, overburdening them with unwanted prescription etc., are really plaguing our health care delivery system in private. Fortunately and or unfortunately the greater proportion of our health care delivery is being offered by private sector and the individual private medical practitioners in India. Due to callous attitude of some doctors in government hospitals and poor medical attention, even the people under unaffordable income group also started to move towards individual medical practitioners or private hospitals than government hospitals. Further most of the doctors in government hospitals are focusing more on their private practice than be honest and prudent to their responsibility in the government hospitals they work.

Cash based admission of students to MBBS course, lack of merit and other vested influences also have rotten the medical profession in India which has lost all its ethics and basic bare minimum norms. How to earn, how to exploit, how to make deals with either the diagnostic centre or with drug manufacturing companies are the most common thinking of some medical practitioners in India.

The problem that plagues our medical education and delivery system is lack of ethics and greed for money and how to set right the affront investment that has been made to secure admission to MBBS seat. Therefore a stringent law is necessary to regulate the medical education and profession to put them on right track, otherwise our health care delivery system may pose as big a threat to our existence like terrorism. Untreatable corruption in the MCI administration also had consciously destroyed both medical education and medical profession in India.

Heartless attitude and merciless approach is only largely riding the medical profession although a few honest medical professionals are there in our system, but their voice is least audible in the society.

Medical education must be made stringent, merit alone must be weighed and not mark moderation to increase the percentage of passed out students. The National Exit Test (NEXT) must be conducted at par with the entrance exam of IISc, IAS or other all India level entrance exams for Ph.D admission and only then quality medical graduates can be produced. Based on the rank of the students in NEXT, the students must be made clear whether they should settle in private practice with basic degree or can seek admission in non-clinical side or are eligible of PG admission in super specialty.

The role of state government in deciding the above subject must be eliminated and NMC and central government alone must have the power to decide. Merit and not any other practices that may deter merit should prevail in medical education. Otherwise we may destroy the future of India. With enormous development initiatives and transformations brought about by PM Narendra Modi, if we do not reform our medical education and medical profession with high level of merit and ethics, India shall remain backward and regressive country.

Along with NMC, the role of AYUSH for paramedical support must be clearly defined so that AYUSH could serve the humanity in a better way than getting misused. Through such proper definition of AYUSH as a paramedical health and wellness based practise our country also can avails the large human resource in AYUSH for various paramedical and pre-medical health delivery purposes.

PM Modi has indeed set his heart and head into reform India and take India to greater heights of success and glory, every Indian must offer unconditional support to PM Modi to make India a great country.

UAPA bill- Modi calmed, Shah tamed congress and tukde tukde gangs in Parliament and Rajya Sabha

0

The UAPA (Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill is passed in both houses and has become a law finally. The congress party of the dynast and the other tukde tukde gangs in both parliament and Rajya Sabha tried their best to prevent the bill by asking the government to refer the bill to select committee for further scrutiny. But BJP and PM Modi stood firm to protect India from terrorist and therefore the Home Minister was adamant that the government would fight terrorism without seeing any political sides to it. Congress party of the dynast had little option than support the bill.

After the second successive poll defeat in 2019 under the great leadership of the dynast, congress party has learned the lessons a bit that it cannot disrupt and destabilize the businesses in the parliament and Rajya Sabha anymore as people of India are watching every activity in Parliament and Rajya Sabha carefully.

PM Modi with his second historic victory in 2019 has calmed all those who promote dynastic politics in India, the lobby, khan market gang, sycophant club of the dynast etc., that they have no role in Indian politics when the governance is centred on development, honesty, sab ka vikas and national security. Subsequently Amit Shah became the Home Minister.

When Amit Sahh entered the parliament debate as Home Minister, he has started to tame all the opposition leaders by countering and replying to each of their questions and concerns with facts and how they have brought India to the present state of affairs. Entire India got thrilled at the way Amit Shah conducted the debate and exposed the hypocrites in the opposition gang. The entire opposition bandwagon went weapon less and defenceless and surrendered meekly exposing their armour-less chest and finally had to support the efforts of the government as they were all meant to save India and develop it further.

We have studied about Hamlet from Shakespeare where he was puzzled with ‘to do’ or ‘not to do’. In Indian politics too, especially in Parliament and in Rajya Sabha, the debate and presentation of facts by Amit Shah had exposed all those Hamlets in the opposition ranks. Instead of opposing the bill and voting against it, some made a walkout indirectly allowing the passage of the bill to take place, especially the triple talaq bill.

Many opposition parties like SP, BSP, DMK etc., pushed the congress to a corner to take a stand and oppose triple talaq bill and UAPA bill or else join the opposition and make a walkout.

It is quite customary that the biggest block in the opposition would dictate the narrative and other smaller parties would join the block. From that perspective, Congress is supposed to have led the opposition group but the smaller parties quite contrary to that, pushed the congress party either join them or expose itself to the world.

BJP had caged the congress party, but the regional parties had tied the congress even inside the cage because they fear that the congress party should not escape if the cage were opened accidentally.

Time is not too late for the congress party to reform itself. Congress party must work hard to eliminate all regional parties from Indian politics and must infuse the ethos of one India, one election, one tax, one sacred culture called Hinduism to unite diversity. As long as congress party support and travel over the back of the regional parties, it cannot grow.

Congress must support the reduction of representation of regional parties in Parliament to 10% of the total strength and all other seats can be contested only by the national parties. Unless the wings of regional parties are clipped closely India cannot be saved. Congress must realize the truth that only by eliminating the regional parties, congress can grow. Congress party must demand its share in government from now on if DMK ever come to power in future.

To re-kindle the real social justice agenda of DMK congress party must propose the name of Tirumavalan of VCK as chief minister candidate as he belongs to backward community. If DMK is true to the spirit of social justice, then DMK must welcome such proposal than aspiring to make Stalin and then his son as chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

The second term of PM Modi has inspired and excited Indians through tireless work to reform India and transform the life of millions. The opposition parties and especially the congress party is left with no other option but support PM Modi and Shah and applaud to the world that Narendra Modi will never go wrong.

People should support PM Modi unconditionally to make India a great land where corruption, dynastic politics, nepotism etc., does not have any space.

Sattvic Aahar adheres to human values, Zomato the preacher does not

0

Millennial business models want to serve a purpose. If there is anything more they want, it is for you to think that they want to serve a purpose. It is safe to say that many businesses today subtly use post-truth to their advantage, striking a chord with the consumer with seemingly philanthropic “business values”, and tend to put the onus for any deception on consumerism. But all that is known. After all, it is a part of the great game of money-making and brand-building. “We are proud of the idea of India – and the diversity of our esteemed customers and partners. We aren’t sorry to lose any business that comes in the way of our values.” This tweet by Deepinder Goyal, founder of food-delivery app Zomato, can almost have a consumer believe that Zomato has always adhered to the food safety act. But in fact it is known to have violated the norms by partnering with unhygienic restaurants running without license.

Goyal’s statement followed a tweet by Zomato India, “Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion.” This was Zomato India’s reply to a tweet that said, “Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN. They allocated a non-Hindu rider for my food. They said they can’t change rider and can’t refund on cancellation. I said you can’t force me to take a delivery I don’t want. Don’t refund just cancel.” The tweet was by a Pandit Amit Shukla from MP’s Jabalpur, who said that he wanted a Hindu delivery boy because he was observing a fast.

While the mainstream media drooled over Zomato’s “epic” and “classy” reply to the consumer, the other end of the Twitterati spectrum called out its hypocrisy. Here’s why. In a separate case of consumer complaint on Twitter in May where a Muslim man complained that Zomato refused to cancel his order because it was non-halal, it replied the following, “Hi Wajid! That’s not how we wanted your experience to be. Kindly share your order number so that we could look into this.” Zomato was quick to issue a clarification, a copy of which is attached below, on how this case is different.

What it conveniently failed to recognize is that religion is the gist of the matter here wherein Zomato has tried to appear as a self-proclaimed savior; a business that distributes stale, overheated food drowned in an ocean of refined oil from unlicensed, unclean restaurants for inflated prices while preaching to the world that food is a religion. As enlightening – although majorly flawed – this observation is I would appreciate for Zomato to shed some light on why its religion doesn’t speak of food wastage even as lakhs of desperate poor get eaten up by the gut-wrenching hunger in their stomach. To call out someone for their religious bias is one thing. But to preach is another thing for a business that presents and serves food as if it is meant to satiate temptation. The hypocrisy thereby lies in preaching of values that Zomato never have and never will practice because it is here for the money, even if it has to succumb to political correctness for it. True religion is what Akshay Patra has been practicing which the new kid on the block will never have the decency to learn from.

A similar example of hypocrisy was set by Al Jazeera English, an English-language Qatari news channel, when it tweeted a 3-minute-long investigative video on the consumption of dog meat in South Korea. The tweet said, “In South Korea, nearly 2 million dogs are eaten every year. @AJ101East investigates the billion-dollar business.”

However journalistic the investigation is, it can’t be ignored that it’s also coming from a people who consume different kinds of animals, with the exception of pork (pig). Will Al Jazeera document the slaughter and consumption of varieties of animal meat in the Middle East or their home country Qatar for that matter? We know the answer to that.

Nicolas Boileau-Despreaux, a 17th century French poet once said, “Greatest fools are the most often satisfied.” Ask yourself, “Are you as a principled Hindu satisfied with what you are consuming and how? Shukla’s case shows how despite observing a fast – a practice which requires to abstain oneself from overeating and refined food for the purpose of physical and spiritual cleansing – many choose to order from a food app. One would have to be delusional to think that such food apps – a bog of leisure and temptation – would care enough to notice what oil is being used, how fresh and freshly cut is the raw material that is being cooked, and how much cleanliness is being adhered to while cooking and carrying the food.

The principles of Mitahara in Hatha Yoga Pradipika have impressed upon not only the five Ws and one H of eating. They go on to elaborate the effect of the attitude of the person on the food while preparing and serving it. The ethics of food consumption in many such Hindu scriptures, if studied carefully, have been derived in tandem with the natural environment that exists outside and one that exists within our bodies. Mitahara, meaning moderate and mindful eating, is a central subject in the discipline of yoga and prescribes the steps that lead to the physical and mental state of fasting. What good then will the practice of fasting do if one has to rely on impure kitchens for sattvic ahar without any mindfulness of what process the food to be consumed has gone through and in what state of mind it was prepared?

Basic human necessities which have been turned into profit-making machines are not only making us physically unhealthy but mentally too. The values that pastor Zomato and the like boast of convince us that we need to order food so as to save time, “live to eat” has become the new cool Instagram bio, taste and appearance of the food has become the guiding factor for what and how much we should eat and for some reason the alien restaurant and food delivery staff will care you and your food more than yourself. What’s feasible? Expecting for a hypocrite business to serve you food doing it yourself by following the wholesome yogic principles of ahar?

INDIA and the need of the hour is the economic right

0

After 2014 when the BJP led government won the country’s youth who was the victim of the socialist policies of the previous government saw a ray of hope. The country again bolstered the BJP led NDA government with increasing their seat count above 350 with BJP’s alone 300+. This showed the faith the country’s youth showed on Narendra Modi. But with the recent budget, mandatory CSR and some quotes of the Finance Ministry where they defended high taxes with “redistribution of wealth” which are contrasting with Narendra Modi’s SMALL GOVERNMENT dream.

The political right wishes people to be independent so that people can develop their own ambitions. The very idea that government can involve in everything to develop the country is actually a false narration. The best minds like Nicolas Tesla or Henry Ford didn’t discover anything because the state told him to do, instead it was purely ambition driven. In order to allow ambition to flourish the state must refrain themselves from interfering with every small details of public life.

Freedom can only be achieved if people as individuals are free to choose and under socialism the state orders you to perform a duty that the individual doesn’t want to. The government should follow policies which encourages businesses to take risk, invest and create wealth, which cannot be created by thwarting and discouraging business. The youth of the country therefore needs and deserves an economic right, if BJP can’t be one then the start of a new one or the revival of Swatantra Party is a necessity.

The Swatantra Party which in its idealogy believed in Swatantra meaning individual freedom, which cannot be achieved under socialism and unfortunately the current government is continuing it.

Zomato’s sensationalism and liberal media appreciation

0

“In food-delivery controversy start-up Zomato won over many internet users on Wednesday (31st July)” — a statement from print media that writes —- for the thousands of retweets and likes it (Zomato) got for its iconic Tweet. The famous tweet of Zomato is as follows : “Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion.” Oh! That’s how one should sense? Let’s analyse. The first part of the tweet: ‘Food doesn’t have a religion’- is okay. That means, food has no narrow boundaries unlike a religion which has with its set-rules. All humans need food to eat, so as to survive. Wherever, they get food of their choice (if hungry) they eat. After all, why do people work? If not for having two square meals. For the poor, even that’s also a dream!

The later part of the tweet is controversial- ‘It (food) is a religion’ – this is dragging ‘food’ into a narrow confine of religion. What kind of religion is food for someone to practice? Perhaps, food is religion for the start up firm Zomato, for, they eke out their living out of profits they get from the sale of food. So, to them, ‘food is God’ and that’s the religion.

Jumping of Omar Abdullah into the controversy, has definitely a religious and political angle. He says in his tweet:@ZomatoIN just delivers the food ordered by the customer, it doesn’t make choices for them…’ Poor Omar Abdullah, what kind of Muslim is he? Feeling sorry. Zomato sells halal meat entirely to cater Muslims. It’s a choice Zomato has made.

Not only Zomato, all over the world, surprisingly, even in secular West-European countries, the restaurants nowadays are placing billboard highlighting that ‘Halal meat’ is available. For, all businesses, use strategies for their benefit. For them, customer is paramount. Regarding halal meat, when Zomato was questioned, the clarification it gave was so unconvincing. It said: “Halal tag is a result of restaurants seeking that distinction (from other meat)”. Amusing! That “distinction” from the other meat is needed for Muslims, not for others. Other than halal meat, any meat is a taboo for them. As far as other are concerned, any cooked meat is fine. They never ask whether it’s halal meat or not. Zomato has the cheek to cover up. When asked the pointed question on halal, it says that for ‘ distinction’ as if majority Indians were asking for it.

It goes without saying, only halal meat is to be eaten by Muslims. They don’t eat the meat of an already dead animal. Where does this practice fit in Zomato’s policy of ‘food is religion?’ Now conclusively, one can draw, Earthly Religions control food, not the other way round. The mainstream English channels, waiting for an opportunity like this, lapped up the entire episode, to portray as some kind of intolerance in the society. They have also their hidden agenda to bait the BJP-led NDA, as if, the earlier UPA Government was a paragon of secular-virtues! These elite media persons, mostly agnostic, yet latch on to minority religious values! They leave no stone unturned to magnify petty things of ‘Zomato kind’ and appreciating what Zomato tweeted to be a revelation of higher order! Their superficial thinking is pathetic. Their specious arguments have no takers in the present India.

The controversy and the sides taken wouldn’t have arisen, had the customer ordered the food- a Hindu and had the delivery boy been not a Muslim. And also, of course, the person Amit Shukla’s objection to the delivery boy. Amit Shukla later said that there was ‘no religious angle … it Saawan and we have religious faith’. His claim would not hold water in a secular world. People go to many restaurants when they go out. Nobody knows who cooks the food in the kitchen. Though mechanised, the handlers of food are from various religions. No one feels the practice wrong as all are humans. It is moral and ethical to treat all equally.

The only thing is, the food prepared and person who delivers have to maintain hygiene. All food chains of fame ensure to that. If it’s Saawan or on any sacred/holy day, the preparation of food has to be at home. One cannot dictate, one’s preferential choice to hotels or restaurants or food joints, as they cook, serve and deliver through persons they select and employ . Moreover, a Hindu has to abide by – Om Sahana Bavatu, Sahanau Bhunaktu, Saha Viryam Karavavahai. Tejas Vinaa Vidhitamasthu, Maa Vidvishaa Vahai- sloka. The sloka means for togetherness: Let’s live harmoniously together, eat together, strengthen together, let us not bear ill-will against each other. Though tough to practice in world of contradictions, one has to be accommodative.

In any case, Deepinder Goyal, founder Zomato tweets, “ We are proud of the idea of India….We aren’t sorry to lose any business that comes in the way of our values” is debatable. His praise of India is understandable, however, his praise of “our values” (Zomato’s values) goes a bit overboard. If he does business in any gulf country or Saudi Arabia or neighbouring Pakistan, he has to follow the values of those countries, that is, precisely, according to their religion. The talk of, ‘food has no religion’ blah blah, won’t work there. It’s India that is giving this freedom to follow the values that Zomato believes in.

Hence, magnifying one-off incidents should be stopped by media. Certainly Zomato’s perceived feeling of an upholder of secular values, should not embolden the start-up company to make further statements.

The victim of lynching was and always will be a poor

Whenever there is a terrorist attack in any part of the world then some highly educated and so-called intellectuals work very hard to isolate the terrorist from his or her religion, in this way they become the savior of humanity. India is recognized by every country on the earth so I assume that the whole world knows what inhumane actions were taken by the terror organizations in India in Mumbai in 1993 and 2008. The main accused of the incidents mentioned above belonged to the same religion but they were isolated from their religion as soon as these incidents were acknowledged by the so-called intellectuals. I think these type of intellectuals should be called as a hypocrite because there is a huge difference between their saying and doing, let us see why I am calling them a hypocrite in rest of the article.

If you know about the domino effect then you can easily relate it to the mob lynching which is increasing in the country tremendously and the reason is unknown to us because we are average human beings. Due to our average mentality, it is difficult for us to decrypt the real reason behind the mob lynching but who has already decrypted the reason behind the violence are not telling truth at all but are dividing the society with their own narrative instead. They themselves exposes their hypocrisy by specifically specifying the religion and sometimes the caste of the mob who were involved in the lynching. They do not directly specify the religion of the mob but they do so by specifying the religion of the victim of mob lynching and in this way they expose themselves.

I tried to decrypt the reason behind the lynchings through various youtube channels and according to them lynching is the result of system failure and carelessness of the local police and if police had taken any action then the victim would have tried to harm the police in order to escape from the police so the people decide to take the law in their hands. I totally do not support this kind of action taken by the locals as it is unlawful and inhumane. According to the constitution there no provision of the death sentence for a thief if he is. According to section 379 in Indian Penal Court, Punishment for theft-Whoever commits theft shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both. So it is the duty of every citizen of the nation is to take actions described legal in the constitution.

Now, let’s try to understand the real reason behind the lynching and if could keep your average mentality away for a while then only you understand the reason behind the mob lynching. The reason is so simple as the victim is poor and it is easy to afflict, fool and, eradicate the poor. that’s what I have to say and will be looking forward to your views on the mob lynching.

For gnawing rats, questioning tax evasion and unaccounted wealth is = tax terrorism

0

The great lobby that holds the exclusive ownership saving democracy, secularism, free speech, liberal ideas in India, out of its active and passive Bhakti to the dynasty is so confused in its approach to criticize PM Modi. Every ploy that they plot to attack PM Modi are getting blunted and distorted by the good and honest governance of PM Modi. So far the lobby was accusing PM Modi as suit-boot sarkar and promote crony capitalism. Ambani and Adani were also targeted by some of this group to attack PM Modi. When the same Modi administration decides to go after tax evaders and holders of unaccounted money and those who laundered to offshore tax heaven, immediately the same lobby spins up a new story that Narendra Modi is harassing business people in the name of tax terrorism.

Look at the neo-paranoiac behaviour the lobby and many opposition parties. They are totally clueless as how to attack and belittle PM Modi. But he remains unchallengeable purely because of his honest and corruption free governance, governance fully dedicated to development and sab ka vikas, efforts to prevent nepotism and dynastic influences from ruining the governance etc.  People of India have completely understood the absolute truth that PM Modi alone can offer good governance and development and not the dynast or his sycophants and tukde tukde gangs.

What the lobby display these days are exactly the behaviour of rat and other rodents. The rodents and lagomorph species such as rabbit, hare etc., have ever growing incisors.  Therefore these animals have to continuously gnaw over everything to arrest the overgrowth the teeth. If the rodents, rabbit etc., could not gnaw, their incisors may outgrow over the mouth and the animal may even die. Therefore these animals need something or other to gnaw to save their life.

Today most of the opposition parties and their lobbies are doing nothing but gnawing in public place, attacking PM Modi for everything once again from heavy rain to severe drought to landslide to flood to what not…… the lobby has not blamed PM Modi.

People of India are not only wise, but also are vigilant and watchful of the opposition parties and the lobby. Any amount attempt the above group may make to convert a mole hill into a mountain is not going to work to their favour. The honesty, dedication, hardworking attitude, patriotism, undying passion to develop India and achieve sab ka vikas of PM Modi is well known to the world.  So people are not going to believe either the congress party or its sycophant club.

The details surfaced so far about the financial transactions, tax evasion and money laundering of CCD owner don’t suggest tax terrorism and instead it only indicates the inability of the owner to comprehend with the legal realities and the consequences.

According to the lobby and the dynast, PM Modi should not act and at the same time must act. In any case the narrative must suit to the lobby and the dynast so that they can always criticise PM Modi. Unfortunately the lobby and the dynast are yet to realize that they cannot sell their brand politics of negativity and hate Modi anymore in India. People of India are with PM Modi and BJP and support PM Modi unconditionally because every Indian wants see India emerging out as a great country devoid of corruption, nepotism and dynastic politics.

People are happy to let the lobby continuously gnaw at everything to accuse PM Modi but nothing is going to work. India will surpass all odds and Modi will make India a great land and will install Ral rajya.
