Indian Army and the dream of Aurangzeb

0

On 30th anniversary of the mass murder and ethnic cleansing of Indian citizens within India, it is legitimate to question every authority that the Indian taxpayer funds. Of course, Kashmiri Hindus were not seen as Indian citizens worthy of protection from murderous Muslims who declared that Kashmir must become free of Hindus at the pain of death. These were not just Pakistan sponsored terrorists but normal Muslims who became killers of their Hindu neighbours after following Jihadi sermons being announced from every mosque in the valley. The Indian state was silent to this genocide being perpetrated in secular India.

Dr Rajat Mitra is a clinical psychologist who helps Kashmiri Hindus being forced to survive in ramshackle camps in Jammu. He has researched trans-generational trauma of Hindus who were subjected to Islamic genocide over centuries. Independent, democratic and so called secular Indian state continued to allow such Islamic genocide of Hindus within India, most notable of which was the ethnic cleansing of Hindus in 1990s Kashmir. Dr Mitra has given several talks on this subject which can be found of YouTube. He was once told by these Kashmiri Hindus that a camp they lived in was called ‘Aurangzeb’s dream’. When he asked why, he was told that Aurangzeb wanted to convert all Kashmiri Hindus to Islam.

When these Kashmiri Hindus begged the Sikh Guru, Guru Teg Bahadur to save them, the Guru confronted Aurangzeb. Guru Teg Bahadur was tortured for months and publicly beheaded in Delhi by Aurangzeb. Two of his Hindu supporters were also tortured and executed before his eyes. What Aurangzeb could not do centuries back, that is, converting Kashmiri Hindus to Islam, the Indian state allowed their genocide by Muslims and mass exodus from Kashmir thirty years back from today. Dr Rajat Mitra was told by these internally displaced Hindu refugees that they had named one of their camps as ‘Aurangzeb’s dream’ because his dream was finally fulfilled by the democratic and secular Indian state three centuries later.

This brings us to Guru Teg Bahadur’s efforts and sacrifice. He gave up his life for those he did not know. He supported Kashmiri Pandits in their fight against Moghul jihad. Moghul India was an Islamic state that persecuted, killed and enslaved the Hindu population. If Kashmiri Hindus could be saved under an Islamic state, why couldn’t the Indian Army save Kashmiri Hindus from genocide and ethnic cleansing in 1990s India? Hiding behind the cloak of secularism, constitution and political supremacy are just excuses. Army battalions and cantonments were based in Jammu & Kashmir while Muslim led pogroms were taking place against the Hindu population. Jammu and Kashmir police did not act because they were led by the jihadi state machinery.

But if the Indian Army chose to turn a blind eye then it begs the question whether Indian Army is a moral Army. In Nuremberg trials, most Nazi military leaders who were tried were convicted on the principle that to follow unjust orders that go against common morality is a crime. It follows that just because orders were not given by the political leadership to save Kashmiri Hindus, the Indian Army did not have to sit around doing nothing. Were Kashmiri Hindus not humans who were worthy of protection? Why do we fund our armed forces, just for them to sit back and ignore such genocide? If the Indian Army had acted to protect Indian citizens, what’s the worst that could have happened?

Some Army commanders would have been court martialled for not following orders from politicians. But that would have been worth it, because the Indian state, however fragile, would not have allowed such morally righteous Army commanders to be punished for saving countless Hindu lives subjected to Islamic jihad in Kashmir.

We must question every authority, including the Indian Army, the Congress government and the Muslim home minister at that time who allowed the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Hindus of Kashmir in a democratic India.

Shiv Sena and Congress has reduced Maharashtra to weasel and rabbit fight

0

Nature has left several wonders for the mankind to learn and admire. One such wonder is Weasel. Weasel is a tiniest carnivore which grows to a maximum of 11 inches in length. But the animal is a voracious eater, always hungry due to its increased level of metabolism and hence would even dare to attack a Rabbit which is several times bigger than the Weasel. Rabbits on sighting Weasel would run to save its life. The abnormal hunger of Weasel only drives the animal to take a chance to attack Rabbit or other bigger animal.

We should compare the politics of Shiv Sena and Congress party with the above analogy to understand how meaningful message Weasel and Rabbit fight conveys. What we see in Maharashtra is nothing but Weasel attacking Rabbit and Rabbit in turn runs to save its life.

The dynast of the congress party publicly mocked Savarkar by saying his name is not Rahul Savarkar by taking undue pride over his name and mocking down one of the greatest freedom fighters and pillar of our Hindu cultural identity. But the Shiv Sena remains silent and helpless before the dynast because although the number of MLAs Shiv Sena has is quite higher than that of the congress party in Maharashtra assembly, but still Shiv Sena needs the congress to remain in power and hence Shiv Sena has to play Rabbit before congress party – the Weasel.

When Shiv Sena leader made a startling statement that anyone oppose Bharat Ratna to Vir Savarkar must be sent to cellular jail in Andaman, he has played down when the congress party ruffled its feather.

The greed for power and need for the dynasty to be in the centre of Shiv Sena, the party has surrendered, submitted, prostrated and was willing to bite any bullet but all it wants is the chief minister chair.

You beat me, abuse me, kick me, snigger and giggle at me, but I will be loyal to you as long as you feed me- is the stand Shiv Sena has taken.

It is all because Shiv Sena has realized that it cannot grow any further and at best it can only shrink purely due to its dynastic politics. Whereas BJP led by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are expanding because Modi believes in honesty, good governance, corruption free administration, India free of dynastic politics, nepotism and sycophancy.

The governance of PM Modi is exclusively focusing on sab ka sath sab ka vikas whereas the dynastic parties like congress, Shiv Sena, DMK, SP, JDS etc., believes in the vikas of own family and its bandwagon.

To remain as a liar, to loot, to remain in power at any cost, one needs to do several compromises.  What we witness in Maharashtra is nothing but an agreement for corruption and power.

Even though Weasel and Rabbit had agreed to be friends for mutual benefits, but still the inherent behaviour of Weasel and Rabbit do find its way; therefore Weasel and Rabbit are going to fight and as expected Weasel would finally kill the Rabbit.

It is quite interesting to watch how Shiv Sena is following the congress party like an apprentice; obeying, obedient, subservient, disciplined and scared. Shiv Sena has no option other than follow the dynast of the congress party; if Udhav Thackeray wants to continue as CM of Maharashtra and his son as his minister with cabinet rank.

It is the eternal sacrifice of ideology and political vision, Shiv Sena has committed for power and hence it is ready to play the role of a Rabbit and get preyed by a small weasel. India has lots to watch and enjoy from the shameless sacrifices of Shiv Sena for its family to remain in power. Hope people of India will defeat and decompose all these shamelessly selfish political parties and save India by supporting PM Modi and Amit Shah.

The ‘red guard’ IT cell- Wikipedia vandalism

0

In 1960s PRC witnessed the controversial ‘Cultural Revolution’ under the leadership of then chairman of the Communist Party of China Mao Zedong. He organised a student led paramilitary socialist movement named Red Guards. A book titled “China’s Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution: Master Narratives and Post-Mao Counternarratives” mentions a Red Guard leader explaining the objectives of the movement as

Chairman Mao has defined our future as an

armed revolutionary youth organization…So if Chairman Mao is our Red-Commander-in-Chief and we are his Red Guards, who can stop us? First we will make China Maoist from inside out and then we will help the working people of other countries make the world red…And then the whole universe

Mao Zedong has died but this communist spirit is still alive within the minds of modern ‘Red Guards’ or ‘Urban Maoist’. An essential component of the Red Guard agenda was the destruction of Four Olds which were Old Customs, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Ideas. Maoist in India have targeted any ideologically different person under this ‘Four Olds vandalism agenda’ since many decades especially the Right Wingers and the followers of Hindutva. In past six years these red guards have specifically targeted their ideological opponents on the Internet. This article will talk about and investigate this ‘e-vandalism’ on Wikipedia.

Red Guards have targeted several journalist, media houses and news-portals including OpIndia on Wikipedia. A prejudicial language with loaded terminologies and disputable sources cited are fundamental characteristics of these pages which have been clearly written for peddling a propaganda.

THE OPINDIA PAGE: DISMANTLING THE PROPAGANDA

The introduction reads

OpIndia is an Indian news portal which claims to be a fact-checking website. It is ideologically oriented towards right-wing populism and has propagated fake news over multiple occasions.

Under the sub-heading ‘Content and Reception’ it further continues

AltNews has documented the site to be a significant purveyor of fake news, in India.

A January 2020 report by the media watchdog Newslaundry noted the portal to contain several inflammatory headlines selectively targeting the leftists, liberals and Muslims.Islamophobia was noted to be a dominant theme, achieved either by selective manipulation or outright faking. The political opposition (esp. Indian National Congress) and mainstream media was a favorite target of their vitriol; posts published by OpIndia Hindi from November 15 to 29 were located to be invariably situated against any criticism of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party. Most of the pieces contained brazenly abusive commentary on the subjects.

This doesn’t stop here. In the references one can easily find that the author of this page cites the following:

Points to be noted:

The Wikipedia NPOV policy page states the following :

  • Avoid stating opinions as facts: Usually, articles will contain information about the significant opinions that have been expressed about their subjects. However, these opinions should not be stated in Wikipedia’s voice. Rather, they should be attributed in the text to particular sources, or where justified, described as widespread views, etc. For example, an article should not state that “genocide is an evil action”, but it may state that “genocide has been described by John So-and-so as the epitome of human evil.”
  • Avoid stating seriously contested assertions as facts. If different reliable sources make conflicting assertions about a matter, treat these assertions as opinions rather than facts, and do not present them as direct statements
  • Avoid stating facts as opinions. Uncontested and uncontroversial factual assertions made by reliable sources should normally be directly stated in Wikipedia’s voice. Unless a topic specifically deals with a disagreement over otherwise uncontested information, there is no need for specific attribution for the assertion, although it is helpful to add a reference link to the source in support of verifiability. Further, the passage should not be worded in any way that makes it appear to be contested.
  • Prefer nonjudgmental language. A neutral point of view neither sympathizes with nor disparages its subject (or what reliable sources say about the subject), although this must sometimes be balanced against clarity. Present opinions and conflicting findings in a disinterested tone. Do not editorialize. When editorial bias towards one particular point of view can be detected the article needs to be fixed.
  • Indicate the relative prominence of opposing views. Ensure that the reporting of different views on a subject adequately reflects the relative levels of support for those views, and that it does not give a false impression of parity, or give undue weight to a particular view. For example, to state that “According to Simon Wiesenthal, the Holocaust was a program of extermination of the Jewish people in Germany, but David Irving disputes this analysis” would be to give apparent parity between the supermajority view and a tiny minority view by assigning each to a single activist in the field.

The author clearly violates each of the point mentioned above:

“Opinions as Facts” , “Seriously contested assertions as facts” and “facts as opinion”:
EXAMPLES: Articles under ‘Sources supporting OpIndia to follow a right wing ideology’ :
  1. Bhushan/TheWire, Sandeep (2017-01-26). “Arnab’s Republic hints at mainstreaming right-wing opinion as a business”Business Standard India. – This article written mainly to target the Journalist Arnab Goswami mentions ‘opindia’ only once as

Goswami’s Republic indicates the mainstreaming of right-wing opinion as a business enterprise. Already, Swarajya and Open magazine – along with sundry portals like OpIndia and PGurus (not to speak of social media trolls) – are trying to carve a space for right-wing opinion-makers in the public sphere.

The use words like ‘trying to carve a space’ from an irrelevant to the context  article illustrates the unsuccessful attempt of the author to state assertions as fact. Also the heavily biased article was resembled a opinion more than a media report.

2. Ananth, Venkat (2019-05-07). “Can fact-checking emerge as big and viable business?”The Economic Times. Retrieved 10 November 2019.  This article was based on the rejection of OpIndia’s IFCN application and talked about the financial angle of fact checking. The first paragraph reads:

In February 2019, a right-leaning news website, OpIndia, applied to be a member of the Poynter Institute’s International Fact Checking Network (IFCN). By early March, that application was rejected by IFCN’s India-based assessor.

The author used this line as a fact in the article. This is ridiculous.

3. The article cites a ‘Sunday read’ opinion in The Mumbai Mirror, A satire in the Print, A biased media opinion in the wire which relies mainly on random tweets and a random book named  ‘I Am a Troll: Inside the Secret World of the BJP’s Digital Army’ as facts.

Judgmental language and absence of counter-views

One can clearly see how well the ‘Red Guard’ has used the fabricated language to spread the ‘vandalize the old ideas’ agenda. This article was written to vandalize the image of OpIndia in front of new readers. It also lacked any counter-opinion. OpIndia has already exposed the Newslaundry propaganda on its Youtube channel but those facts and counter views were not endorsed by the author.

EndNote

The chapter of Wikipedia vandalism doesn’t end here. Several prominent journalist like Arnab Goswami, Sudhir Choudhary and Anjana Om Kashyap and media houses like Zee News, Republic TV have also been targeted by these ‘Red Guards’ and they will also be exposed. Wikipedia Vandalism in-fact only one of the several ways on which the people with opposing views have targeted on the internet by this IT-Cell. End? The Journey doesn’t end here.

Fact check- Fake posts being spread about a ‘New Constitution’ in name of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

0

We are seeing a fake propaganda being spread through WhatsApp, email and other social media means, about a booklet which has been published and is being promoted in the name of RSS Sarsanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat (falsely). ‘Naya Bhartiya Samvidhan’ (‘New Indian Constitution’) is the name of this Hindi booklet, and it is being falsely said that it has been written by Dr Mohan Bhagwat. It is being promoted through this booklet that there is a plan to implement a new Constitution which will give priority to upper caste people (and even in them, far more for Brahmins) in all sectors, by changing the current Constitution. Messages claiming that this new Constitution will be used to do injustice on SC/ST and other backward category people are being spread through this booklet.

An appeal is made to citizens to send their suggestions and advice about the ‘New Constitution’ at the end of this booklet. It is written that the suggestions will be accepted at the Prime Minister’s Office, New Delhi till 15 March 2020. It is also written that a copy of the suggestions will also need to be sent to the RSS Office in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Not just that, it is also claimed that the best suggestions will be given a prize of Rs 10,000/-.

There is no information given on any page of the booklet about who published it, no name of the publication or publisher, address, edition or any other information. Under the law, when any book is published, it is necessary to give the name of the publisher or publication, ISBN or registration number. This booklet has absolutely no such information, and hence it is absolutely clear that this booklet is being promoted and circulated simply to spread misinformation and infuriate and instigate a particular section of the society.

AAP’s hollow claims exposed-AAP fielded candidates with criminal cases

0

Arvind Kejriwal while in Goa campaigning for AAP for the Assembly polls of February 2017 made a very boastful and tall claim. Kejriwal said that his party, the AAP would cancel the ticket of any AAP candidate found in any wrongdoing even 24 hours before polls, AAP would leave a seat uncontested but not field tainted candidates!

What an outrageous lie by Kejriwal! Now let us see the real facts. AAP gave tickets to at least 23 candidates out of a total of 70 with criminal records in Delhi in the Assembly polls of February 2015- since out of the 67 winning MLAs, 23 had criminal cases on them. Many of them were later arrested as well for e.g. an MLA Jitender Singh Tomar who was made a minister was found to have a fake degree. AAP had defended him in this issue till the end, until when the degree was found fake.

Besides, AAP gave tickets to 11 such candidates who had to be arrested later on various charges as AAP MLAs in Delhi.

Many of AAP candidates in 2014 Lok Sabha polls had many cases on them, e.g. its Kanyakumari Lok Sabha candidate Udaykumar had more than 350 cases against him- exact number was 382.

M Pushparayan was another candidate of AAP from Thoothukkudi constituency in Tamil Nadu with 380 criminal cases against him.

Arvind Kejriwal gave Lok Sabha tickets to people with 380 and 382 cases against them, and was talking of ‘clean candidates’ in Goa and had the audacity to claim that AAP will field only clean candidates!

Binayak Sen, a man who was convicted by both the trial court and the Chhattisgarh High Court for support to Naxals and given life imprisonment was a member of the Policy Group for Police Reforms of Aam Aadmi Party despite AAP knowing fully well that he was convicted by 2 courts.

AAP had fielded 78 candidates for the phase of LS polls held on 10 April 2014. 15 of the party’s 78 candidates or 19 per cent, had criminal cases on them.

AAP candidate Narendra Mohanty from Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat in Odisha had 28 criminal cases pending against him. Mohanty in his affidavit declared 28 cases against him. Of the 28 cases, three were murder, one was attempt to murder and one was dacoity with murder.

Till the first 6 phases of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls 44 (15 per cent) out of 291 fielded by AAP till then had criminal cases. Though this writer has not been able to find out the exact number of candidates with criminal cases of AAP, out of a total of 443 fielded by AAP in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the number must have been close to 15% or so. It is well known that in public life often some cases get registered on people, but AAP fielded people with serious criminal charges, and numerous cases. (E.g. a man with 382 cases in Kanyakumari, another with 380 cases and one with 28 cases in Odisha.)

The AAP may claim here that the BJP and Congress too fielded candidates with criminal cases against them, but the BJP and Congress did not claim to field ‘no candidate with a single case against him’. BJP said that in public life cases get registered against people leading political agitations, which are different from personal cases of crime and corruption. AAP fielded people with serious charges of personal crimes- like dacoity, murder, attempt to murder and dacoity with murder.

Thus this claim of Kejriwal is extremely hollow and unsound, and by that claim Kejriwal himself will be unable to contest any election on an AAP ticket on his own issue of horse-trading.

I’m now an unapologetic Hindu again.

Dear Muslim sisters, why should I believe you?

0

Today I see, thousands of Muslim men and Burqa clad women with their kids on roads, rallies, and the famous “Shaheen Bagh” and Park Circus Roads, protesting against CAA/NRC/NPR. I am happy to see the community exercising their fundamental right to protest against something since the bill was cleared in both the houses. It’s been a month and the community is still out with small kids to register their protest.

But, while watching the protests for the last one month, there are several questions that have hit my mind.

Did such massive protest lasted more than a month in my last 28 years? Is it true that the protest is being funded by political parties? Do they really know about the act considering the literacy rate of the community?

Are they being genuinely being misled?

But when I started looking at the bigger picture in India’s context related to Muslims, I found the community actually never cared about themselves and their rights.

Why do I say this?

I went and researched the conditions of Muslims in India in the last 70 years, I got the following statistics (Sachar Report):
– 25 percent of Muslim children in the 6-14 age-group either never went to school or else dropped out at some stage.
– only one out of 25 undergraduate students and one out of 50 post-graduate students in ‘premier colleges’ are Muslims.
– The percentage of Muslims in government employment is half of their population proportion.
– A large number of Muslim women who are engaged in work do so from their homes rather than in offices or factories. Their figure in this regard is 70 percent compared to the general figure of 51 percent
– In the Railways, 4.5 percent are Muslims and, significantly, ‘almost all’ (98.7 percent) are in low-level positions.
– Data with regard to prisons were edited out of the Sachar report
– The risk of malnutrition is also ‘slightly higher’ for Muslim children than for ‘Other Hindu’ children. This again seems to be a contradiction vis-à-vis the reported child survival rate.
– Also to be considered is the finding that in the recent recruitments by State Public Service Commissions, the employment of Muslims has been as low as 2.1 percent.
– In the Civil Services, Muslims are only three percent in IAS, 1.8 percent in IFS and four percent in IPS

The community who were pushed in Ghettos in Okhla/Seelampur In Delhi, Metibruz and Park Circus in Kolkata /bhindi bazar and Dongri in Mumbai never protested for such discrimination in last 70 years?

The community which never got good schools/good roads/good hospitals in their areas never came out on roads in the last 70. Why are they protesting today?

The community which never found respectable representation in politics/govt Jobs/ private jobs never came on roads for last years. Why are they protesting today?

To sum up, in the last 70 years the parties like Congress/RJD/SP/BSP/AAP/MiM were the only reason for such poor conditions of the Muslim community but the community never protested against them but instead stood with them against Bjp in past and present as well.

Muslim community need to answer a lot of questions before blaming the Modi govt. They need to answer why they are protesting against a bill which does not affect them but gives citizenship to minority refugees. If you are protesting for the rights of Shias, Amhedias, and Rohingyas of other nations than why dint you protest for yourself and your children in the last 70 years!

For the last 70 years, the community which used to make or break governments in India, the women who were kept in Burqa, not allowed to study or work are feeling so empowered under the Modi Government. What is the reason?

Hinduism vs Hindutva – The new ploy to guilt trap Hindus

0

A new trend has emerged in the past few weeks – Hinduism vs Hindutva. Though this has been the line of attack for quite some time, I found something very interesting. Below is an image tweeted by many liberal celebrities including Shashi Tharoor.

Here is the line of reasoning,

  • Hinduism is a political tool
  • It has only one central idea
  • It is exclusive and it teaches to hate other religions
  • Hence, it is monolithic and similar to Christianity and Islam

This line of reasoning is very significant. Inadvertently, the above graphic admits that monotheistic religions are exclusive in nature and teach hatred for other beliefs. So what stops liberals from acknowledging the above fact which they already know? Why is their distaste only reserved for Hindutva as they call it? Why are these original monotheistic religions spared from liberal and logical scrutiny? And why does Hinduism’s so called transition to Hindutva worry them so much if they are comfortable with Christianity and Islam?

Let us look at monotheistic faiths closely. They go around with an air of superiority, do not respect other faiths and regard them as inferior. They have ‘the savior’ mentality and constantly need a victim and a perpetrator to fight against. Any different point of view is regarded as inferior and subject to name calling (uncivilized, disbeliever, pagan, bigot etc.). They place themselves on a self created higher moral pedestal and try to grab political power while pretending to engage in social justice. They shield anyone who is ‘Humare side main’ no matter what crime they have committed. They pretend to stand for peace but end up destroying native cultures and practices with the single minded aim of finding new converts.

Read the above para again carefully? Yes, you got that right.

Indian Liberalism has the same basic tenets. It is more of an extension of Christianity rather than an independent rational line of thought. Such being the case, liberalism is pretty comfortable with Islam and Christianity. Religion is viewed through a monotheistic lens and whatever passes the monotheistic test is allowed to remain, other things are questioned. Hence neither does it find any problem with aggressive monotheism, nor is it able to appreciate deep philosophical moorings of Hinduism and its plural nature. No doubt, we have not found a single liberal calling out this social evil of religious conversions.

Additionally, questioning Christianity and Islam comes with a high cost – it will upset their western beneficiaries and also the fundamentalists who are ever willing to defend their faith. The only easy targets to practice liberalism against are Hinduism and other Indic faiths. If native faiths are benign and go about their own business ignoring predatory tendencies of other faiths, it suits them. However, if the native faiths also stand up and claim their rightful space and start defending themselves, it is an existential crisis. Hence the desire to maintain status quo and their discomfort with so called Hindutva.

This, “Hindutva vs Hinduism” is simply old wine in a new bottle. In 2009, the same liberals sold us “Advani vs Vajpayee” and more recently “Modi vs Advani”. After pollution on Divali and water wastage on Holi, this is a new chapter in the liberal handbook of “How to guilt trap gullible Hindus”.  If there were a real liberal, he would instead ask the following questions – why is Hinduism transforming? Who is responsible for a polytheistic broad-minded accommodating faith becoming monotheistic? Is the current regime fueling it or have fault lines already been created with pseudo-secular policies of 70 years?

The recent BJP and Jana Sena tie-up – A Good omen for Andhra Pradesh

0

After the massive state assembly election-victory in Andhra Pradesh (that was conducted simultaneously with the parliament election in April 2019), it is the no-hold-barred C.M -Mr. YS Jaganmohan Reddy, ruthlessly carrying-out what he whims! He demolished government buildings (built by spending huge public money) by the former C.M-Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu (CBN), by citing filmsi environmental hazards made him look notorious in the eyes of many in Andhra Pradesh. It is one thing to have animosity against his political rival CBN, it is another thing to have a sagacious thinking on the issues at hand and judge what is good for the welfare of the state. After all, to govern, is to capture the imagination of the public in a good-manner.

There are four things that are going against YSRCP supremo, right now, that are needed to be addressed by the rival/opposition camp in A.P with vigor:

The first and foremost, being the state capital Amaravathi. The C.M, Jagan Reddy (called by the name in short) after having 5-deputy chief ministers and many more advisors for himself, with salaries and perks causing great burden on state exchequer, he now, is planning to have three-capital cities for a small state of Andhra Pradesh which has only thirteen districts.

Immediately, the opposing camp cited Jacob Zuma, the South African Prime Minister to have said in that country’s parliament: maintenance of two capitals (Pretoria & Cape Town) was a big expenditure. It was strange to see the people of Andhra who had no knowledge of Jacob Zuma, till the other day, quoting Zuma’s saying that having two capitals was not good. They, then questioned the three- capital-formula of their chief minister.

Politics of Vengeance:

Being the CM then, Chandra Babu Naidu, only, conceptualised the idea (for the newly formed state, Andhra Pradesh) to have a grand capital city, Amaravati. When Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated, the capital – Hyderabad went to Telangana. So, Naidu envisioned to build a huge one, going by Singapore – model. That was the fancied dream of Naidu, after coming to power in 2014. However, he did not make much headway in that direction, except collecting/pooling a valuable, cultivable wet-land at Thullur, near Vijayawada and built some temporary structures. Other than that, it was a day dream.

The former CM Naidu, whiled away his five-year tenure in a surreal way, whether to build Amaravati in Bahubali style or Singapore style! By doing so, he caused damage to the very conception of building the capital. He gave an impression that he was a visionary and Amaravati, his brain-child. As he adopted the capital Amaravati to be his own, the present CM Jagan Reddy, is effectively trying to dismantle it. The poor farmers who gave the land, which now has become barren, are crying for the loss of land and loss of the nobility of the cause with which they had given benevolently. The agitating farmers were thrashed and the women were harassed and forcibly thrown by police. With no rhyme or reason, section 144 was imposed, on the women going to temples to pray. Some of them were injured so badly in the police action (undoubtedly under instructions from above), were joined in hospitals. The complaints did go to National Women Commission. The NCW, took it into cognisance and visited the victims and stock of the situation.

The farmers have been agitating for more than a month and are on the streets. They showed their anguish by fasting on this recent Makara Sankranthi festival also. It was pathetic to see them so. Yet, the CM did not turn up to emphathise. The BJP in Andhra is not a big force to reckon with. It has no representation in the assembly and cadre to work for. So, the party remained a spectator to the specatacle in A.P.

Pawan Kalyan, a renowned actor, a charismatic hero, who has his own brain and worked, earlier, for the BJP – TDP alliance, in 2014, for their victory in Andhra Pradesh joined them. He has his own party Jana Sena and cadre that did not contest then. Now in 2019, though they fought electoral battle, they could not challenge Jagan Reddy on their own and win seats. So, after realising that Jana Sena needed a bigger party at the Centre, to stop the mayham caused on the farmers and other atrocities that are going on continuously in the state, the Jana Sena leader, Pawan Kalyan, chose to sew up alliance with the BJP. This is beneficial to both and a mutually agreed one.

To come to other issues of importance, there have been religious conversions to Christianity unabated. There seems to be state patronisation to evengilical groups. Even Lord Balaji Temple in Tirumala-Tirupati, is not spared. The Seven Hills Tirumala has, it is learnt, the first two are occupied to build churches on the way to the Shrine. Even in the Temple premises, there is no peaceful atmosphere for the devotees, as the propogation of Christianity is in place.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam funds are diverted by the government for its secular purposes. All in all, barring crusade, all evengalism is in full swing. So, the alliance of BJP and Jana Sena, can together fight this unruly ruling of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.

This alliance, has the blessings of the Central BJP. Now, the problems of Andhra Pradesh will quickly be known to the Centre for course-correction. Kudos to our prime minister Shri Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah for the timely action and intervention on the Andhra Pradesh political scenario. Hope this would lead to the progress of the state.

History re-written

0

Inspired by the various fossilised historians like Romeetha and Erfahab, Anubhuti — the modern-day multi-tasking servant of the Supreme Energy decided to morph into their upgraded versions and re-write history in its correct perspective. After all, it was no longer ‘his’ or her story, but a free-for-all that was non-empirical, non-subjective and obviously non-objective! Whimsical opinions and vague references were admissible proofs. A bit of imagination could add colour and humane qualities to even the most ferocious beings and events of yore.

Vharatta may claim to be one of the oldest civilisations, but she became civil only when the mighty Oohgulls visited. All talk of the nation being ‘sone ki chiria,’ a golden bird was actually based on a bluebird that flew to the Oohgulls and tweeted stories of her physical and spiritual wealth to them, while the local Kings were caught napping, hence the word ‘sona’ i.e. sleep was prefixed.

The foreigners came to spread true spirituality because they were always the ‘peaceful’ ones – loving and blessing all with wealth and prosperity wherever they went. They never plundered, looted or raped the local populace.

Actually the King, who when captured, famously stated something connoting the following – ‘treat me as one king would treat another’ was referring to the fact that the residents always viewed everyone equally, so they gave up their land to the visiting guests quite willingly for justice equality and liberty….The Oohgulls welcomed this Citizen’s Acceptance act – eerr …CAA with celebrations that lasted for weeks and resulted in blocked roads!!!  You see, sharing is caring.

Soon the indigenous people became vassals and some Vharatta residents were  thrilled by the advanced technology, vision and liberal views of the visitors that they decided to give up their own culture which only had vague concept like that of zero, the Earth being round etc., to embrace the grander ‘hole’istic monotheistic views of the invaders.

The local mythological deities were many and each one had a specific task assigned to them, so much so that it seemed crowed up there. They had to be abandoned to create space. The heavens were actually meant only for 72 beauties and some special humans who could detonate themselves to reach there.

They say history repeats itself. Rightly so. Each detonation was repeated effortlessly to perfection. Even Chanookiya the smart old professor at an ancient university could not have planned these better.

Chanookiya might have quoted stories of various mythical characters and read about Prince Arjoonah of the Panduves who had disguised himself as a trans-gender many moons ago, but he would have been pleasantly surprised to see  tradition being gloriously carried forth by bindi wearing bearded beauties studying at the modern day Nalanda of Jeyhenyou.

Anubhuti, now a woke historian in her own right, also failed to understand the hullabaloo over the birthplace of a baby prince, that too of the one born many centuries ago. Afterall her research showed that most babies are born in hospitals and the demand of one of the ‘peacefuls’ to build a hospital at the site was indeed in sync with tradition.

Actually, trouble began when one of his forefathers — a visiting Oohgull King, had constructed a place of worship over the same area. This was because the soul of the ‘peaceful’ monarch knew that by doing so he would get deliverance. Just like the powerful southern king Raovanah had before him, when an arrow shot by the exiled prince had pierced his navel. The soul knows all, the mind doesn’t…. things in history happen because nature has ordained them to fit into a grander scheme of things.

And finally, closer to current times, a man wearing only a humble loincloth had managed to secure freedom for the nation from its latest set of invaders. They had lifted Vharatta out of poverty, bestowing upon her the blessing of the vulture of angrezi culture. The humble loinclothed man wanted to make everyone like himself, clothed skimpily …. How happy he would be to see the youth of today. They would make him proud. Torn jeans and shorts…so close to his favourite airy dhoti!

Besides this, he wanted continuity. A sense of eternity. Therefore, he ensured that his name was bestowed upon the lady with the statuesque nose who carried further the mission of gareebi hatao – removal of poverty, poverty of her family. Till date, her legal heirs continue to bear regal airs along with the nose, ensuring that they always stay poor…by running loss-making business that make millions!

The only ones to usurp their days of glory are a pair of Gir Lions. Their presence and roar make most people leave and abandon their senses. That is why they are called LEFT…and RIGHT next to them are the silent majority that watches in awe for they know that once bitten by these two, few can survive.

There is total polarisation. Either you are Left or Right. The middle path is lost. Perhaps now another Buddha or Krishna is required to show the way where none exists. A song of the soul, a daily guide, a Nityageeta which will show the path of truth love karm and light to humanity. As Anubhuti’s mentor the venerable seer-scientist M.Om often states, these are times of upheaval, churning and sifting. And since we are moving towards an age of truth – Satyug, truth will be the only medium for deliverance.

So let us stand with the Truth.

Aayahi satya avirbhava

O’ truth, come manifest.
