Is it the time for Modi to feed the liberal sharks?

“Narendra Modi, An International Embarrassment” by Prof. James Manor, in The Wire belongs where it is carried. The animus and visceral hatred that The Wire and its protagonist former Editor of The Hindu @svaradarajan knows no bounds. There has been no love lost between the institution and the stable from which he has now seamlessly hopped into. The story is an embarrassment in itself, for there is an embarrassment of riches for those who only need to go to so called Main Stream Media with a ‘Liberal’ construct. Ever since the Gujarat riots of 2002 Narendra Modi has been the recipient of a host of pejoratives- 16 one can recall off the bat.

‘Goat’, ‘Man of damage to India’, ‘The elder brother of puppy/fascist’, ‘Impotent’, ‘Frog’, ‘Monkey’, ‘Murderer’, ‘Compulsive Liar and encounter Chief Minister’, ‘Dictator’, ‘Mass Murderer’, ‘Gangu Teli’, ‘Ravan’, ‘Snake, Scorpion, dirty old man’ and the one that takes the cake, ‘Maut ka Saudagar’. These expressions communicate the extraordinary love the opposition has for anything and everything Narendra Modi represents. And the so called liberal media has not been critical of the crudeness, to their enduring credit. International Media has simply picked up from their liberal cousins in India, with whom they are in holy matrimony, against popular support to Modi as a divisive agenda.

Obviously, Modi is his own man. Even within his own BJP establishment, it was obvious when the late, lamented Arun Jaitley gunned for Modi as Prime Minister in the 2014 Lok Sabha poll, the likes of L K Advani did not hide their petulance and peevishness. But Narendra Modi was his own confident self and went straight to the hearts of the people by singlehandedly campaigning with Amit Shah as his lieutenant. He traveled the length and breadth of this nation and clocked more miles than any politician and won a majority in May, 2014, after 35 years, since Rajiv Gandhi’s landslide in 1984, a single party majority for BJP.

Modi was convinced that the ‘people’ were with him. The liberal media tried its darnedest to portray him as the man who belonged to the 16 and more pejorative thesaurus. It made little difference. Modi was an outsider. He was surely not the darling of Lutyens’ Delhi and Khan Market log. He was their red rag. They were furious that he made it to the top without their heft and much against their vitriol and diatribes. ‘They’ could not stomach it. Modi completely sidelined the Main Stream Media. He has not given one Press Conference, since May, 2014 in the last 6 years. For he has nothing but disdain for them. And that is infuriating, as over several decades, ‘they’ have had it their way. A record of sorts, whether you like or lump it.

Ever since May, 2014, Modi has been accused of hopping across nations and continents to cultivate relationships. He made it a policy not to permit the media jamboree that always accompanied the Prime Ministers on sightseeing at tax payers’ cost. “They” were seething in anger. All the freebies these log and multifarious NGOs (just google and find out the real time crores the so called liberal NGOs with a heart for the poor, marginalised and minority interests have accumulated during the UPA years, mind boggling), were ruthlessly cut off and no wonder their fuming reached the sky and beyond.

There are left liberal media (left liberal, incidentally, is an oxymoron as left is associated with China, Russia et al and what liberal values are they talking about) has been on a warpath and come May,2019 elections, they thought they can trump Modi. There was a spring in the step of liberal media darling, the ever failing Rahul Gandhi, who was gloating that it was “goodbye Modi time”. Alas, the voters had other ideas, as they returned Modi with a higher majority and a firmer footing.

And then Modi 2.0 began with a series of political agendas on the BJP manifesto. It was inconceivable for the MSM that Modi could make mincemeat of all their concerted efforts, to mobilise the opposition Gathbhandhan. Their ferocity to oppose Modi grew manifold when he launched on triple talaq, clean up Art.370 and the one that broke their backs in CAA. How the hell did Modi manage these transformational changes through Parliament? The left liberals just could not digest that Modi managed to fulfill BJP’s core manifesto promises, the legal and constitutional way. And when the Ramjanmabhoomi verdict, as a unanimous one came from the Supreme Court, and it fell in Modi’s lap, the left liberals could take it no more. They have now started to attack the Supreme Court too, for yielding to the instincts of the rulers. “They’ are holding back on the language for possible fear of contempt. Otherwise, they would be happy to go guttural, as their own instincts dictate.

The quotes that the learned professor has generously quoted are all attributable to the liberal media and its benefactors and hangers on. Just consider the Trustees on the George Soros $1 billion on the India side. Very famous names who are roaming free, accusing Modi 2.0 of orchestrating the Delhi riots. They do not need any enquiry or proof to conclude that the killing of the IB official with a hundred and more stab wounds were inflicted on him, in self-defense. And see the log who are offered space to write in New York Times or Washington Post. They have ‘hate Modi’ in their DNA. It is fine, they are entitled to it and it is their prerogative to be imbued with that faculty. But to suggest that such ‘reporting’ was gospel truth and Modi was an embarrassment is a huge joke. We The People are far wiser than these men and women who propagate their wisdom with an agenda.

But one thing is clear. The liberal media and its benefactors are desperate to see the back of Modi. They have too much to lose, if he continues in office and refuses to even consider their existence. They will continue to vomit these embarrassing constructs until Modi appreciates the voluble space the liberals have come to occupy in the media space. But this space is not where We The People who matter live, breathe, eat, and vote in. It may be interesting to know what the good Professor would have to say on the stunning Boris Johnson triumph and decimation of James Corbyn who spouted similar venom.

It may therefore be time for Modi to pivot a bit and offer these crocodiles what they are desperately seeking. A Press Conference where he can take them on, in public viewing and answering not lollipop questions, but the most direct verbal onslaughts. Even if Modi stands and delivers straight punches, upper cuts and the like, MSM can go to town with Modi’s ‘discomfiture and embarassmennt’ before the world.

One feels Modi has starved them for too long. The waiting is killing them. It is time for him to deign and conquer than ignore and rein. But, it is undeniable that while he has been quiet, silent and hard working, his ‘failure’ to please MSM may need a rethink. Modi may continue to trust We The People and appeal straight to us, over the shouts and smears of these folks.

But, it may just be the time to feed these sharks, a bit of messaging. The noise is getting shriller and it may be the ideal moment for Modi to clinch the debate. Yes, the economy is not doing well at all. The promised turnaround is not turning around as yet. And that is aiding these voices to go berserk, bellicose and belligerent. So, it may just be turnaround for Modi to pivot from his present steadfast silence, to break it with a Press Conference, inviting specifically the liberal media, upfront, the national and international sharks, and address the issues they claim are embarrassing India. We the People know the questions. And the little man with little finger who votes in the little booth also knows the answers. Why bother then? Feed them what they are craving for. And embarrass them in a publicly televised Press Conference. Game?

NRI youths celebrate Holi for humanity and unity

0

A famous poem by Jaleel Haider Lashri which finds its origin in Pakistan goes as follows:

jaane kab kaun kise maar de kāfir kah ke
shahr kā shahr musalmān huā phirtā hai

This translates as ‘you never know who gets killed as a kafir (non-believer) and by whom, for the whole city roams around proclaiming themselves as Muslim’. There is voluminous evidence today that speaks of the persecution of the religious minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Be it in Bangladesh where Hindu Temples have been constantly attacked and vandalized, or Afghanistan where ancient Bamiyan Buddha statues were destroyed, or Pakistan where Hindu and Sikh girls get kidnapped, forcefully converted to Islam and married off against their will.

The recent case of the kidnapping of the daughter of Granthi (keeper of the holy book, Guru Granth Sahib, of Sikhs) of Nankana Sahib Gurudwara in Pakistan and the case of Christian women named Asifa Bibi targeted through the draconian Blasphemy laws, are still fresh in all our memories. These countries by their founding principles have a state religion. They do not proclaim to be secular. This is perhaps the reason why the Governments turn a blind eye towards the attacks by religious radicals of the state religion on the minority religions.

Consider the following statistics, for example, that show the extent of discrimination faced by religious minorities in these countries: reports suggest that in undivided Pakistan 23% of the total population were Hindus during India’s partition in 1947, and it is reported that after a small period of 70 years it is now 3.7% only.

In Bangladesh, the Hindu population decreased from 22% in 1951 to 9% in 2011.

In Afghanistan, the combined population of Sikhs and Hindus was 700,000 in the 1970s, but today that number is a dismal 1300, even those 1300 cannot get out of the country because of their poverty.

Such is the condition of minorities in these countries. On the other hand after the partition of India, into India and Pakistan, the minority communities have grown on all fronts. According to the 1951 census Muslims were 9.8% of the total population and according to the 2011 census they are 14.23%. The population of other minority communities has also grown at the same pace as the total population.

According to 2011 census data, the minority community Jains have the highest literacy rate, 86.4% and as per recent data from a 2016 report this has gone up to 94.9%.

The literacy rate for Christians, Sikhs, and Buddhists is above the national average [18]. From 2001 to 2011, compared to all the different communities, the literacy rate among Muslims showed the largest increase of 9.4%. India is home to the world’s second-largest Muslim population. In three states in India, more than 75% of the population is Christian and in the other 5, more than 20% of the population is Christian. In two states more than 25% of the population is Buddhist. Out of the twelve presidents of the that India has had, three were Muslims, and one Sikh. India has had a Prime Minister who is a Sikh (Dr. Manmohan Singh). India also has had a Vice President for 10 consecutive years each. Four Muslims have served as Chief Justices of the Supreme Court of India. The current permanent representative of India at the United Nations is also a Muslim. Many Chief ministers of states within India and a large number of ministers at states and central government have been Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and Parsis.

People coming from the minority communities in India are listed among the world achievers in the fields of science, business, sports, movies, music, authors, armed forces, etc. They have made their mark in all walks of life. Here are just a few of the many successful people from minority communities in India, A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Manmohan Singh, Azim Premji, Ratan Tata, Md. Azharuddin, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Sania Mirza, AR Rahman, Navjot Singh Siddhu, Mary Kom, Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati, Shabana Azmi, General Bikram Singh among many others.

Compare that with the minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. They have not just failed their minorities, they have failed the whole of humanity. Their religious minorities are even in the current times living in pathetic conditions. In 1947, when India was being partitioned, the flow of information was not easy. Rather, there were a lot of rumors and misinformation. Many common people did not really understand the gravity of the situation arising from the partition and how their lives would change. Many people who did understand, either had no money to travel to a safer place or could not leave their generations of properties or memories and move overnight. Many counted on their neighbors and stayed back, but later only to repent. Indian leaders after independence wanted to protect the minorities of these countries, hence the Nehru-Liaquatpact was signed in the year 1950.

It is the moral responsibility of all Indians, to support the parliament in welcoming them to India because even we were responsible for the creation of these countries by religion-based partition. Safeguarding the basic rights of these minorities is a moral responsibility of not just India, but also the whole world, which not only made the subcontinent partition possible (by directly supporting or not opposing) but also failed to put pressure on these nations over the protection of their minorities. The world has failed to stand up for these religious minorities, who have waited for help and are still waiting.

The parliament of India has finally, after so many years, cleared the way to fast track the process of granting Indian citizenship to these persecuted minorities by passing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 [5]. With this act in place, all the religiously persecuted people who came to India as refugees before December 2014 from these countries can get citizenship upon 5 years of living, instead of 11 years required for a normal application. Several Indian leaders across party lines, including the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, the first prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, have gone public on the issue. They have accepted that it is the moral and ethical responsibility of India to ensure that all non-Muslims are helped to respectfully settle in India [10].

Many other countries in the world have also taken similar measures to support religiously persecuted minorities inother countries like the USA enacted the Lautenberg Amendment in 1989. People are being misguided saying that the government will club the CAA with NRC (National Register of Citizens) to trouble minorities who are genuine Indian citizens. First things first, the process to conduct NRC has not even been notified and nobody really knows what it is going to be. The assumption that an upcoming law will be cruel doesn’t justify the blockage of this law, which addresses the humanitarian issue that the whole world turned a blind eye to. And let there be no doubt that whenever the government decides to make NRC and if in any case it tends to exploit any Indian citizen we all should and we definitely will stand by our fellow citizens irrespective of their religious faiths. We are pretty sure that this open-hearted humanitarian law brought in by the Indian parliament will make the life of our new fellow citizens better. To show our love and support to these new citizens, let us all celebrate this decade’s first Holi with a message.

Let us all click a photo with colorful Holi faces, holding a placard with a welcome message. Let us celebrate #HoliForHumanity, #HoliForUnity and send our love to the joyful new citizens of our country and to minorities still facing trouble in these countries. Also, let us all send a message to the governments of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan to take care of their religious minorities, to treat them with dignity and respect and above all to treat them as HUMANS!

Support PM Modi to save India from ‘Wolf in sheep’s clothing’ politics

0

The recent Delhi riot and many other lynching incidents and other sporadic religion linked clashes in the past largely reveals one truth that most of those incidents were sponsored by several anti-Indians but they came to the stage as ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’.

It means the victims are mostly caricatured as from minority community and the villain is always from majority community. But ironically both the victim and villain in most incidents were from same community and most of such incidents were either due to personal enmity or were ignited by some politicians to malign India and PM Modi.

The damage those wolves in sheep’s clothing are causing does not limit to Modi or India alone but they are targeting our ancient tradition called Hinduism and the ardent followers of such great tradition called Hindus.

Indians must realize that it is not just Hindus alone follow Hinduism; all Indians irrespective of their religion or practice follow Hinduism in some form or other. All Indians are born with Hinduism and Hindutwa spirit and only later they moved towards other faith systems. In fact Hinduism accepts even those who follow other religious practices also to be passive or active followers of Hinduism.

To be born in India is not just an accident but it is the outcome of several penances in the past births and that his how Hindu tradition describes every Indian. The very birth of a person in India automatically makes him or her great like how the sea shore wind embrace us to cool feel or how the hill station would dip us in chill and shiver.

The very identity of India is our tradition, culture and civilization called Hinduism. Hinduism is not limited to certain religious practices of Hindus but Hinduism is all about humanity, tolerance, peace, love, duty and responsibility, spiritual essence in our everyday life, diversity, acceptance, dissent, appreciation and criticism etc.

Lord Krishna and Lord Ram stood as living testament for the value systems of Hinduism. When India was attacked politically by abusing our culture, coining Hindu terror term to defame Hinduism by congress party of the dynast, minority appeasement and bringing religious division, PM Modi emerged like the eleventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu to save India from all those evil forces.

Saving India does not mean just providing drinking water facility, sanitation facility, cooking gas facility, electrification, direct transfer of government aids, employment opportunities alone but the ultimate mission of saving India lies in saving and promoting the great culture of India called Hinduism. What makes India unique, great, exemplary and uncommon from the rest of the world is its sacred, living culture called Hinduism. Hinduism does not have barriers, boundaries, doctrines, dos and don’ts, a leader to guide and claim ownership of Hinduism etc.

The eternal fabric of humanity in India, i.e., love and harmony will be destroyed permanently if Hinduism, the essence and soul of India is attacked.  Hinduism can be attacked and maligned only by attacking Hindus, the followers of some of essentials of Hinduism. The tukde tukde gangs want to make Hindus and Hinduism are one and the same so that Hindus can be defamed by sponsoring some antisocial activities and those involved in many such incidents are if apparently make to look like Hindus to the public view, the blame would go to Hindus.

The wolves (the antisocial elements and anti-Indian elements) more often come to the stage in sheep’s clothing and that is how they are sabotaging our great tradition.

Soft-Hindutwa modus operandi is also being adopted by some political parties.

Like pseudo-secularists, half-Hindutwa followers or soft Hindutwa actors are also very dangerous. Modi and Amit Shah are promoting not Hindu religion but only the essence of Hinduism such as love, universal brotherhood, harmony, tolerance, unity in diversity, sab ka vikas etc. But the anti-Indian elements tries to demean the great mission of Modi as religious partial-ism and anti-minority politics.

The minority community must realize that they have been protected and promoted only by the cultural heritage of India called Hinduism and therefore they are also as dutiful and responsible as Hindus in protecting and promoting the cultural heritage of India called Hinduism. Minority community should be the first group of people must come forward and pledge their unconditional support to PM Modi and Amit Shah to save India and its religious plurality.

Jai Hind.

Eradicating poverty: From apocalypse to neogenesis

In a world bereft of reason and devoid of any sense of order, the rich can get richer and the poor can die a tragic, miserable death. So, who cares? It happens all the time. Any attempt to bring redemption, in a bleak and hopeless landscape of the poor, will have to be truly heroic with a major sense of purpose and commitment.

Singers, songwriters, musicians, crusaders, revolutionaries and missionaries have created images, ideas, concepts and theories that decry the malaise of poverty from time to time. Bob Dylan, the American folk/pop singer, who also won the Nobel Prize, created a treasure trove of ideas, songs, and references to economic ideas while hitting out at poverty, hunger, disease and death.

John Lennon, the famous English music legend, sought to start a new campaign for the poor. His iconic song, “Imagine”, is the inspiration for a world free of poverty. His vision for a world free from hunger and poverty led to international forces which came together to ensure that every child has the right to sustainable nutrition/food.

The Rolling Stones, the English rock band from London, took a hard view of poverty and classism. Its members spoke about a society where people are abandoned to rot; they fall prey to crime, poverty, disease and death.

Efforts to eradicate poverty have to be streamlined and manipulated so that people don’t get trapped in the socio-political stranglehold, and then one has to negotiate their rapid absorption into the economic ethos. On the face of it, efforts to combat poverty must seem like a cry in the wilderness, but with a more rational and scientific approach, one can achieve results with the means of sustained economic growth, based on income and consumption.

Amartya Sen, the noted Nobel Laureate’s capability deprivation approach for poverty measurement, however, defines poverty as not merely a matter of actual income but an inability to acquire certain minimum capabilities (Sen 1976).

Contemplating this dissimilarity between individual’s incomes and their inabilities is significant since the conversion of actual incomes into actual capabilities differs with social settings and individual beliefs. Development projects and poverty alleviation programmes all over the world are predominantly aimed at reducing poverty of the poor and vulnerable communities through various participatory and community-demand-driven approaches. Economic growth is one of the principal instruments for poverty alleviation and for pulling the poor out of poverty through productive employment. (Bhagwati and Panagariya 2012: Ambarkhane 2013).

According to Jagdish Bhagwati and Arvind Panagariya (2012), economic growth generates revenues required for expanding poverty alleviation programmes while enabling the government to spend on basic necessities of the poor including healthcare, education and housing. Poverty alleviation strategies may be categorized into four types: community organisations based micro-financing, capability and social security, market-based and good governance.

Micro-finance aims at lifting the poor out of poverty. It is a predominant poverty alleviation strategy that has spread rapidly and widely over the last few decades and is currently operational across several developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Many researchers and policymakers believe that access to microfinance in developing countries empowers the poor (especially women), supports income-generating activities, encourages entrepreneurship and reduces vulnerability. But although economic growth is important for enhancing the living conditions of the poor, it does not necessarily help the poor exclusively, favouring the non-poor and privileged sections of society instead.

Amartya Sen highlights social exclusion and capability deprivation as reasons for poverty. Social inclusion of vulnerable communities through the removal of social barriers is as significant as financial inclusion in poverty reduction strategies. Social security is a set of public actions designed to reduce levels of vulnerability, risk and deprivation (World Bank 2001). It also calls for gender parity by fostering equal opportunities for both men and women.

The World Bank Report 1990 endorsed a poverty alleviation strategy that combines enhanced economic growth with provisions of basic social services creating financial and social safety nets for the poor. Social insurance schemes and social assistance payments act as tools for poverty alleviation.

In rural areas, agriculture and allied farm activities have been the focus of poverty alleviation strategies. Multi-sectoral micro-enterprises can enhance productivity and profitability through value chains and market systems. These are seen as important for income generation of the rural poor.

Nevertheless, over the past few decades, good governance has taken the top slot in the development agenda for poverty alleviation. Good governance has become a prerequisite for developing countries for them to receive financial aid from multinational donor agencies.

By creating this fabric of infrastructure, we can effectively address the exclusions of these communities, eliminate their poverty, and bring them into the mainstream economic and social systems. As we light this lamp of possibility, we can happily stride towards a ‘miracle’ moment in the lives of the hapless and the hopeless. Like a neogenesis, a new dawn.

For BBC, Delhi riots victimised only Muslims, despite many Hindu victims

0

It’s been a week from hell for New Delhites. With shops, businesses, homes and vehicles set ablaze, and peaceful residents being brutally slaughtered and burned alive by mobs in the most barbaric and inhumane fashion, the city streets of Chand Bagh reverberate with dreadful silence following recent atrocities.

It is not exactly clear as to who or what initiated the storm, and the mainstream media are theorising the terror having stemmed from anti-CAA protests, with clashers on both sides of the community being “outsiders.”

As if all the turmoil in itself wasn’t enough, the many victims and the world now on top, have to deal with wretched reporting by the so-called “journalists” and Western media outlets who are inherently trusted by populations, lawmakers and perpetually cited by Wikipedia for they are assumed to be ‘credible’ and unbiased.

Anyone following Indian live television and print media coverage would be well aware the rioters targeted both Hindus and Muslims, leaving over 300 injured and over 40 dead: a count that keeps on rising.

Hindu IB Officer Ankit Sharma was stabbed brutally somewhere between fifty and four hundred times, with his eyes stabbed and intestines ripped apart with sharp knives. His amputated limbs and body was found in a nearby drain. The forensic doctors who performed the autopsy stated they had “never seen such mutilation in [their] life.” Sharma’s family alleged, Muslim politician and AAP councillor Tahir Hussain was behind his heinous murder, as also claimed by Hussain’s neighbours in a Times Now report.

A video floating on live television and Twitter clearly showed the Islamist politician radically participating in the riot, strolling with a baton in his hand on the same terrace where his mob of men could be seen pelting stones, petrol bombs, broken bottles, and launching attacks on neighbours.

A raid of Tahir Hussain‘s Chand Bagh residence the following day revealed an entire armoury of improvised weapons used by Hussain and the rioters, as well as incriminating evidence of Sharma’s murder. Furthermore, female undergarments were discovered at his property, along with a disrobed girl’s body in the nearby drain as well. We can only surmise what that suggests.

#DelhiRiotTruth reveals major and significant anecdotes of Hindu victims persecuted during the riot, with their houses and cars charred. Among the victims were a Hindu woman bursting in tears after her home of forty years was reduced to ashes, a man claiming the “outsiders targeted him assuming ‘he’s a Hindu, kill (or hit) him!'”, along with stories of many other Hindu residents ignored by mainstream media. There are also claims Hindu businesses were exclusively targeted and charred, with Muslim-owned shops spared. Some suggested Muslim women poured acid on Hindu victims and their houses.

19-year old Vivek Chaudhary’s skull was drilled during the violence too:

“From nowhere he was attacked by some miscreants, that too without any provocation,” she said. “They picked up a sharp iron piece (which looked like a part of a drilling machine) and pushed it into his head. He was stunned and was rushed to the hospital with the help of some locals.” When asked why Chaudhry was attacked, the family members said, “We have absolutely no idea.”

But all of that did not catch the attention of the unbiased BBC

For media outlets like BBCWSJWashington Post and politicians like Bernie Sanders, the victims of the riot were mainly Muslims being targeted by “Hindu mobs,” as insinuated by their pseudo-reporting efforts and biased portrayal of the situation.

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

WSJ even misreported deceased Ankit Sharma’s brother blaming Hindutva mobs for Ankit’s murder, when in fact the family’s police complaint undoubtedly stated Tahir Hussain as the alleged perpetrator.

Only a few journalists have stepped up to clarify what’s really going on. Most of the media outlets are too fixated on victimising Muslim residents of areas where they are already a majority, and being fairly represented by the world media, which obviously has anti-Modi agenda.

Of course, the internet is filled with numerous reported cases of charred Mosques and Muslims having been targeted in the attacks, which are serious atrocities too. But you don’t have to look too hard to find them; it’s dominating the news. This includes news about the scorched house of Mr. Anees, a Muslim constable residing in a predominantly Hindu area of Khajuri Khas which was attacked.

These are all wicked occurrences, but also the very focus of attention in the Western media: across BBC, WSJ, and Washington Post. Any “news” that helps them eradicate Trump, justify the means. Both anecdotally, and according to credible reports, however, significant distress and damage was also experienced by Hindu residents of these areas, which wasn’t given any attention.

Hindu nationalism or jihad

To spell out the harsh truth, “Hindu nationalism” is an overrated threat being disproportionally reported, if not outrightly manufactured by the mainstream media. This lets opposition parties further their case for secularism and augment their voter support. Incidents of radical Islam and Hindu persecution on the other hand continue to be ignored or vastly underreported in their sheer intensity out of political correctness and fear of “community unrest.”

The reasons for this one-sided reporting are very many. There’s too many stakeholders, each with their own agenda. There’s political parties on all sides with significant ownership in media outlets. “Free press” is a myth. There are alliances between Indian and Western left and right-wing groups. News perpetuated by Indian media outlets is selectively rebroadcasted by Western media, without much regard for its factual accuracy or care for journalistic bias. After all, eradicating Trump or Boris is a much bigger concern for them rather than getting another country’s politics right. Incidents of “paid news” frequently sponsored by Indian politicians are well-known.

Because, majority must always be the oppressor

Another reason is the universally accepted flawed belief that a majority group by its very nature must always be tyrannical and guilty, even when that may not be applicable to every case.

History of India would tell you otherwise: whether British Raj or Mughal rule is taken into account, the majority was always the oppressed demographic tyrannised by different oppressor minorities. And, for people of India not much has changed today when the institutional forces entrusted with the task of upholding morality and delivering justice continue to work against the truth so as to advance their selfish agenda.

While the BBC was too busy sympathising only with the Muslim victims of the violence and unequivocally shifting blame towards Hindu politician Kapil Mishra’s tweet, they obviously overlooked Hussain’s radical involvement in and coordination of these terror attacks as caught on camera; along with his well-stocked house mimicking an armoury.

Such events don’t happen overnight or because of a provocative tweet: very likely this was all part of a premeditated plan well before Mishra’s provocative statement even made it to Twitter. In Muslim majority areas of Chand Bagh and Shaheen Baghnone of the Hindu persecutions were brought to light by mainstream media which was far too focused on demonstrating the sole perpetrators being “Hindu mobs.”

People on both sides, without any journalism experience or expertise are well aware of these events and able to grasp what actually happened. Yet for professional journalistic bodies and big shots trusted with delivering the truth, the riots were too daunting a task to cover without carefully distorting the truth.

Consider this a rebuttal piece criticising biased reporting by Western media, rather than taking sides as far as communal violence is concerned. It takes two to tango.

Delhi under siege

Citizenship Amendment Bill was passed in Lok Sabha as well as Rajya Sabha. I explicitly mention both the houses so as to make it clear that it was not only BJP that wanted the bill, other political parties in the country supported the bill. In Rajya Sabha the party had only 83 seats however the bill got 125 ayes. Keeping in mind that one of its major allies ex-ally Shiv Sena did not support the bill. You should ask yourself where did the other 42 votes come from.

What country witnessed at Shaheen Bagh for last three months was anything but a protest. An event like Shaheen Bagh suggests that if there is an act that does not suit you, you should hold the country hostage; block the roads. How is it any different than terrorists holding hostages to get their demands fulfilled? What is the use of Parliament  or courts when you can get your work done by blackmail?

Each and every politician in India and outside knew that the government at center in India would not budge. It was not the first time the government ruled by BJP took a difficult decision. We saw the same kind of pressure building when Article 370 was removed, or when Triple Talaq was banned or when Demonetization happened. When the government did not succumb to the pressure then, what made anyone think that it would this time?

Delhi riot destruction

Let me ask you a simple question, what changed in the last few days that the women decided to expand their so-called protest and block other roads and metro stations for example Jafrabad? They say Kapil Mishra was responsible for the clashes as he openly stated that he would not let anybody create a second Shaheen Bagh at Jafrabad. I might like him or not, but he was not wrong this time, you simply cannot block metro stations. More than a million people use metro on a daily basis in Delhi. If it was not him it would have been someone else. But there would definitely be someone to stop this madness. The question, however, is why did they want to block Jafrabad now? Why didn’t they do it when Prime Minister Modi and Home Minster Amit Shah in the very beginning of this so-called protest, made it abundantly clear that the government would not go back on CAA even by an inch? It would have made more sense, wouldn’t it?

The post clash investigation might explain, as to why.

The women at Shaheen Baagh were a part of a larger conspiracy. The women created an environment for their male counterparts to begin with. They had meticulously planned their attack. Do you think it is possible to built these kind of makeshift catapults and install them on roof-tops and in rickshaws in a couple of hours?

Rioting face of Delhi

Who decided which buildings to pick? Which sides these “manjaniks” (trebuchet) like structures be facing? Before the advent of cannons and gunpowder, muslim invaders used “manjaniks” to hurl fireballs at the opponent. Muhammad bin Quasim used just five of them when he conquered Sindh in 712 AD. You don’t think that it was a coincidence that the Hindu localities found themselves at the receiving end of these makeshift catapults, do you? The building used in one of the cases was a school. Muslim mothers had visited the school and took their children home early that day because they knew what was coming. Tahir Hussain, one of many AAP’s leader used his home as a launch pad.

Selling acid is banned in India but is illegally sold in some parts of Delhi. There were heaps of pouches filled with acid were found at the roof tops where sling shots were installed. Do you think they were arranged in an hour? How long would it take to carry enough number of heavy stones/crates of petrol filled bottles/acid pouches to the roof of a five story house that would last to continue the attack for at least a couple of days? And that too without being noticed. It would take days.

I guess, Kapil Mishra and the people with him  had no clue as to what they are getting into. Thanks to the people who shot the videos of people attacking from the roof tops, or else we would have never seen what was happening. The mainstream media the secular cum liberal intellectuals would have easily portrayed as a communal riot supervised by Kapil Mishra. They say Hindu mobs burnt the houses and the shops, they never said that acid, patrol bombs, chilli powder were raining down from the roof tops of those houses.

I don’t understand why and how media is trying to show it as a communal riot. Was Kargil war a communal clash? Was 1971 war communal? Was 1965? or was Kashmiri Hindu exodus in 1989-90 communal? They were all wars, India won three of them and lost the last one. This was not a communal riot, it was a meticulously planned war to alter the demographics of the state like it happened in Kashmir, like it happens in West Bengal, like it happens in Kerala. This time it is Delhi.

Would you in your sane mind even think of living in Northeast Delhi? If you are a non-muslim, you will start looking for a new dwelling place. Camera phones were not so popular during the time when Kashmir happened other wise, this would not feel as a surprise this time. Ankit Sharma, IB sleuth was not just killed, he was stabbed more than 400 times. Another non-Muslim from Uttrakhand was not only killed but first maimed and then burnt.

Vandalizing public and personal properties: Delhi Riot

Arvind Kejriwal could have very well stopped it. Instead, he became a party to it, for the sake of his politics. He just had to issue the same statement that Yogi issued in UP. “The losses incurred to the state due to any clash would be recovered from the rioters”. But he didn’t say that. Why? Who stopped him? The Chair! What we now certainly know is that he was able to convince the attackers to postpone their attack to after the election time frame. If this clash would have happened before the elections, he would have won ZERO seats, even with all the freebies. The attackers were just lurking in the shadows of Shaheen Bagh, waiting to make a move, waiting for the right time. And when they saw the window they attacked. Donald Trump’s visit to India was just the right time when Delhi was on the magnifying glass and the entire world was looking at it. The attack became an international topic of discussion in minutes. Kejriwal and his entire team should resign right away, no questions no justifications. Indians would be more than happy to make donations for re-elections in Delhi and the state will not have to bear the cost of a re-election. It is better to pay the price now because everybody would have forgotten in five years and some more freebies would get him the victory again. He has made Jaichand look like a nut job.

Even though polarization is a very sensitive topic and should be taken very seriously. But in India, a certain section of Indian society would always see BJP as the sole reason; a scapegoat which has become very easy to digest. It does not matter what happens, it is always BJP. If BJP wins the election, it is because of polarization, it loses the election, the people rejected the polarization politics. If the police did not evacuate Shaheen Bagh or Jafrabad, BJP ruled government did not give orders in time, if they had done that BJP is trying to crush protest using force. You don’t have to go much far in the past, just look at the election figures of Delhi Assembly elections and you would see who did what. You can literally map that the Muslim voters for example people of Mustafabad  who used to vote Congress before voted AAP this time.

If it were not because of polarization the win margins of Manish Sisodia and Amanatulla Khan would have been different. If people had voted for education, Manish Sisodia would not have won by a margin of just 3,000 votes and if communal politics were not a part of the game plan Amanatulla Khan would not have won by a humongous margin of 70,000 votes (there is an extra zero, if you failed to notice). Polarization is a one way street, the caste or the community or the religion that can vote as one, will always win. That is why vote banks exists. The party that is going to get votes from these communities is going to win, and not the other way around. A majority community never votes as one and it rightly does so.

Some times I feel, Mahatma Gandhi was indeed a very clever man that he approved the partition, he could have protested if he wanted to stop the partition. If the country was not divided that time, it would not only be Hindus from the rest of the world seeking refuge, it would be the Hindus of India who would have been seeking refuge.

I hope there is a solution for this.

Give up hatred jibe of the dynast; has Shakespeare referred Raghul Gandhi in his work?

0

Social media is been used, over-used and abused to share hate messages and fear mongering by many antisocial, anti-Indian outfits are well known. Freedom of expression and misuse of freedom are two separate aspects and therefore a clear distinction of the both we must draw, recognize and accordingly must fix the responsibility on those who misuse the freedom and democracy.

May be to make people to think about how each one of them are using the social media and make the people more matured and responsible, Modi would have said that he is thinking of giving up social media platform. Modi has expressed his anguish, pain and worries about the future of India if people continue to use social media to kindle unrest and animosity in India and finally destabilize peace and sab ka vikas agenda of Modi, naturally the government must think whether India should allow such social media platforms to be run without any restrictions in the name of free speech and democracy.

Instead of India debate about how the social media being used by several opposition parties and tukde tukde gangs to spread fear mongering and unrest, the dynast Raghul Gandhi is giving an unsolicited advice to Modi to give up his hatred. The dynast Raghul Gandhi has done nothing but he has mocked himself. The dynast Raghul Gandhi’s hatred towards Modi is bigger than the hatred of Duryodhana against Pandavas or Ravan against Lord Ram. The first Indian to give up his hatred is the dynast Raghul Gandhi. Further the dynast also must give up his greed to become prime minister of India, his greed to become the president of congress party and must advice his mother to abdicate her ambition to handover the congress party to her son and not to any other person in the party. The dynast must liberate him from the elitist mind-set that it is his birth right to become prime minister of India and his family alone have such right.

Another possible question also we must ask now. The question is, has Shakespeare refereed Raghul Gandhi in his work Merchant of Venice? How come Shakespeare knew of Raghul Gandhi several centuries before? In Merchant of Venice, it is stated that the Devil too would quote scripture for its purpose through the below versus

“The devil can quote scripture for his purpose
An evil soul producing holy witness
Is like a villain with a smiling cheek
A Goodly apple rotten at the core”

Every opportunity and in every platform, the dynast Raghul Gandhi is known to abuse and ridicule Modi because his ambition to become the prime minister of India Modi has stopped through his honest, incorrupt, sab ka vikas centric governance.

Another reason why the dynast Raghul Gandhi abuses Modi is because of the humble origin of Modi. Modi has started his life as tea seller and then rose to the position of prime minister of India.

Even after becoming the prime minister of India, Modi conduct himself as Pradhan sevak or chowkidar. But the arrogant dynast Raghul Gandhi even abused the term chowkidar and defamed cowkidar profession by calling cowkidar chor. The dynast Raghul Gandhi should look at his own house to find the real chor rather than calling Modi.

Bofors allegation has proved who the chor was. National Herald and other scam allegations during UPA 1 and 2 also would show who harbour chors and corrupts netas.

It was the dynast who enacted a drama in the parliament that he is symbol of love and then went and hugged Modi. After hugging the PM, the dynast Raghul Gandhi showed his ugly wink may be by imitating the wink of Priya Warrier.

In the land of God, it is known that the evil spirits would stay without sleep and would work tirelessly to drag the people towards its side. To convince the gullible people to its side, the devil also would quote scriptures with distorted interpretation and malafide facts.

More than the meaning, we must discuss about the anguish expressed by Modi that why he is thinking of leaving social media. As a responsible political party, the opposition and the congress party of the dynast must work with Modi to educate our society about how the social media platform must be used to develop the nation and not to break our nation.

The degeneration of social values in our society is mainly due to our indifference and irresponsibility to live according to our ancient culture and civilization called Hinduism.

Hinduism promotes tolerance, secularism, responsibility and unity in diversity.  We must trace back our ancient Hindu tradition to make India a great land of love, peace and prosperity.  India should pledge its unconditional support to Modiji to make our country prosperous where everyone participate and benefit equally towards making New India.

Duryodhana and Purochana failed to burn Lakshagriha, truth alone triumph, let us hail Modiji

0

The cunning, jealous, greedy, evil minded Duryodhana has plotted to a new scheme to kill Pandavas in an intelligent way but at the end failed miserably. Duryodhana asked Purochana to build Lakshagriha or house of lacquer so that Duryodhana can invite Pandavas to stay in the new house. When they sleep in the house of lacquer, he employed Purochana to burn the house as lacquer is easily flammable and such accident would go un-noticed as a cleaver ploy of Duryodhana. But the noble hearted Vidura realized the evil and sinister design of Duryodhana and Purochana, helped Pandava to make an underground tunnel to escape in the event of any fire break out.

Duryodhana and Purochana also cleverly chose the date and timing to burn the lacquer house.  They chose Amavasya or new moon day because the night of any new moon day would be very dark so even someone likely to help the Pandavas was also not that easy and also the poor visibility due to Amavasya night, the Pandavas cannot escape so easily.

If we reflect carefully the evil design of Duryodhana and Purochana with the riot appears to be sponsored, guided and lead by some tukde tukde gangs from behind in North East Delhi recently, it is very clear that those participated in the riot somehow wants to destroy India and attack the honesty and sab ka vikas mission of Modi and Amit Shah.

Like how Duryodhana and Purochana have chosen Amavasya day to burn the house of lacquer to kill Pandavas, the plotters of riot in North East Delhi also chose the timing and the date carefully so that the world media attention would be towards the riot.

US President Donald Trump’s visit to Delhi was bound to attract the media attention of the world and hence the rioters appears to have chosen the same day to instigate riot, like how the evil Duryodhana and Purochana had decided to burn the house of lacquer on Amavasya day.

Like honest Vidura, people of India who are rooted deeply in our ancient tradition and culture called Hinduism stood with Modi and Amit Shah, exposed the treacherous game plan of several opposition parties to make political capital out of riot and human life.

Today India has realized at least at the speculation level, how the riot was commissioned to dismantle the peace and harmony in India so that the blame can be squirrely shifted to BJP.

Indians needs to be very vigilant and wary of most of the opposition parties.  They are destroying India in the name of attacking Modi and Amit Shah. India can be saved only by re-inviting our cultural roots and connecting people with our ancient tradition and civilization which teaches and promotes universal brother hood, unity in diversity and honesty. But many political parties want to divide the peace and compartmentalize diverse religious groups and make some political capital out of such division. Some innocent minority communities unfortunately follow the script of some opposition parties.

Time has come, every Indian must evoke the great Indian culture and heritage called Hinduism and must pledge unconditional support to Modi and Amit Shah. Defeat of Modi and Amit Shah is equal to the defeat of India.

Modi is born for India whereas those of Indians who oppose India can only claim at best they were born in India. Modi is the future hope and promise of India and not the rotten dynastic politics.  Every Indian has huge responsibility to save India and India can be saved only by supporting Modi and not the opposition parties or Delhi lutyens or tukde tukde gangs. Let us save India, let us support Modi and let us practice and promote the true essence of Hinduism, universal brotherhood, unity in diversity and peace.

Jai Hind.
