Lighting lamps & activities on social media a way to boost morale

0

In an address to the nation PM Modi calls for demonstration of collective will to fight coronavirus. On the 10th day of the nationwide lockdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, PM Modi asked countrymen to demonstrate a collective will to fight coronavirus, a token demonstration of which, he said would be to light candles, lamps and hold mobile phone torches for nine minutes from 9 p.m on April 5.

Being in lockdown could be a lonely experience full of anxiety and assured people that “we are not alone” collective will of 1.3 billion is required during this crisis. Social media platforms and their users are finding ways to enlighten spirit among people to stay positive in 21 days lockdown.

From online Antakshari on social media to then-and-now challenge users are getting engaged in a series of activities to tide over tough time. Latest is a online Saree challenge under which a woman has to upload one of her best pic in a Saree image and tag a friend to do the same. All these activities are made to boost moral of people during lockdown.

Scientifically it is said burning candles help us to remove negativity in our surrounding area. Candles preferably black candles absorb the negative energies and transmit them into light loving energies. Burning candles and diyas produces magnetic changes in the atmosphere surroundings. The electromagnetic force lingers on the skin and activate the blood cells. The fire released by the candle or diya kills the germs in the air by its chemicals. All these are activities are just to remove anxiety and boost morale of the people during this crucial time. We have to spread the intensity of light in all direction to defeat the bleak of coronavirus.

On April 05 we have to awaken the humanity in each and everyone of us that we are fighting for the same purpose. Let us resolve in our mind that we are not alone. So Turn off the lights of the house and stand at door of the house or on the balcony. Burn candles, mobile phone flashlight. By ending the darkness and uncertainty created by Coronavirus we have to move towards light and certainty. Join together for a greater cause the defeat of Coronavirus lies in our hands.

Challenges posed by Tabligi Jamat to national unity and inter faith solidarity

Not an ordinary situation for a civilized society to debate when group of organized financed and motivated people places religious commitment over national health and humane cause. The recent event at Nizammudin by Tabligi Zamat seeks serious introspection by the law enforcement bodies and civilized society as to what extent anti-social element be allowed to conceal their activity behind the veil of religious freedom.

There are two aspects which needs to be exposed, one pertains to extent of religious fanaticism and another to the individual moral perversion. One must remember how the individual quarantined for Covid Virus flouted rules of isolation and displayed vulgarity to serving Nurses. What kind of Scholar or religious preacher becomes nude and vulgar before their serving sister and mother?

In a multicultural society as promised by Constitution, religious fanaticism and freedom to encroach any other religious belief should have been an unforgiveable crime. Both Tabligi Jamat and Christian Missionary are flouting this social rule with shameless impunity since independence. The right to preach once religion cannot cross the boundary of others religious faith. Mobilizing big event, creating Public nuisance promoting conversion by exchanging money/ gift and threatening individual using mob fear should have been listed as fraud to the spirit of constitution. But well-funded NGO, electronic media and individual pseudo-intellectual have been conspiring to see the illegal activity of both Tabligi Jamat and Missionary continue unabated.  It is well documented in Govt investigations that these elements have financial interest within and overseas nation to promote such anti national activity.

If you examine their working, the crooks attached with such mindset will conceal their travel plan in disguise as tourist but will act for religious conversion and malicious propaganda. The NGO would receive funds for natural calamity and social/health subjects but channelize them to promote sinister design. To cover them ring of international Journals/Universities/newspapers and vested groups are available on toe at both domestic and international level. The foot soldier comes from ring of Madarsa/ Missionary education system.

The way Christian missionary created an education system to corrupt the young mind away from cultural and historical ethos, another parallel education system is operating in the name of Madarsa today. The commitment to national and social integrity can be gauged from the fact that often they contest singing National song. Both the institution are the breeding ground of silent anti India feelings and individual hatred to anything that is associated with ancient Bharat and sanatan samaj.

This Govt was decisive and judicious enough to cut the financial and funding of illegal NGO and anti-India forces in last couple of years. But the job has just begun. We need to reform and replace the existing parallel educational system with a nationalistic outlook. Bigotry and hatred of society needs to be challenged at the formative stage. Individual groups and organization like missionary and Tabligi are to be exterminated straight way and anyone found opposing should be put under NSA. Zero tolerance and No nuisance should be the state policy if we wish to secure a Bharat for our next generation.

Let the legislature and Judiciary upheld the constitutional values and social ethos which they have taken as pledge to uphold.

Immune boosters from grandma’s healing recipe for COVID 19, option or opportunity

0

The term immune-suppression is quite familiar among medical fraternity all over the world. Large group of steroids come under the above category of drugs.

But what is the real meaning of immune boosting?

The term immune boosting has been used widely, excessively, rampantly and luxuriantly these days by the traditional healing system experts to combat COVID19.

Several herbal recipes have been proposed to the central government and state health ministry in Tamil Nadu to adopt such immune boosting herbal recipes of traditional healing practice and further it is claimed that such recipes would also combat virus and would save people from multi-organ failures etc.

Thanks to the scientific sense of our Honourable Prime Minister of India and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, they did not adopt or recommend such recipes to combat the pandemic created by COVID 19, due to paucity of scientific evidence for all such recipes.

The question of how fair and honest are we, in asking the age old traditional healing practice and grandma’s kitchen healing recipes to prove their recipes through science or scientific credence? But can we accept blindly all such recipes to combat the global killer COVID 19 without any basis and scientific credence? Won’t the adoption of such methods to fight Corona make India look like a joker at the global stage?

People’s Republic of China has adopted TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) as well to address Corona needs more evidence like the evidence for the efficacy of several grandma’s healing recipe for corona. Further China can adopt such measures because China is not a democratic country and it is ruled by an elected dictator where only one political party that exist for people to choose.

The question that raises multiple questions is why the proponents of traditional healing system recommend their recipe to be given to patients along with allopathic drugs? Be it Siddha or Ayurveda which are claimed to have evolved 5000 years ago, how would have used its recipes in the past to treat patients as an adjuvant or paramedical support to allopathic drugs as allopathic system has emerged recently, in less than 100 years?

Along with, which are the allopathic drugs the Immune booting recipes of traditional healing should be given to both COVID 19 positive patients and to people (who are otherwise healthy) to protect from Corona?

Won’t good food, healthy life style and tranquil mind, proper hygiene measures, free from smoking, alcoholism etc., shall offer immunity better than the so called immune boosting recipes of traditional healing system?

In the case of Corona epidemic, what else can offer better protection and immune defence to people other than social distancing, quarantine, use of mask and hand wash?

When people rush from pillar to post due to fear and the Government is weighing several measures to achieve self-quarantine and social distancing to prevent the spread of the disease, can we also create a scenario where people fight and combat to bring their recipes also in the forefront to include them into the list of drugs/therapy to treat COVID 19?

Are we looking at different scientific and proven options to prevent the spread COVID 19 or should we look at the epidemic of COVID 19 as an excellent opportunity to sell our unverified, unscientific methods and make fortune out of innocence and gullibility of people?

The above confusion is purely due to lack of clear definition and differentiation of traditional healing practice from the main stream scientifically proven allopathic system. The traditional healing stream must be positioned and promoted for health and general wellbeing or otherwise called paramedical purpose. Today what we need is paramedical support in large quantity. Once the traditional healing practice is promoted for paramedical benefit and so are the recipes of traditional healing as health supplements, certainly we can make India healthy.

As long as the traditional healing practices are treated as medical science and its recipes as drugs, only competition to prove own supremacy and even COVID 19 epidemic as an opportunity to market the greatness than how collectively we can address the challenge and help people to follow self-quarantine and social distancing effectively and voluntarily alone shall happen.

Grandma’s recipes from kitchen may be best for home care but for COVID 19, credible science and international approval is necessary. India should not and cannot adopt or approve all such recipes and the temperament and sensibility shown by Modi, our Honourable Prime Minister and Chief Minister of the state of Tamil Nadu deserve standing ovation for not nodding the grandma’s recipes the tag that it never deserve for treating or preventing COVID 19 pandemic.

Sikhs and CAA: Why CAA is the need of the hour for the Sikh community in Pakistan and Afghanistan

The whole world is fighting the Coronavirus Pandemic amid this a severe terror attack carried out in a Gurudwara of Kabul, where 25 Sikhs are killed including 11 children, according to sources ISIS took the responsibility of the attack but the news doesn’t got the deserving International Outrage, because of the overshadowing nature of Journalistm who choose to give Priorities to news regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic. Indians expressed their heartfelt condolences on the attack. In Neighbouring Pakistan, the condition of the Sikh community are not good either, Jagjit Kaur, a Pakistani girl forcibly married and converted to Islam by a Muslim Boy named Mohammed Hassan.

On January this year, Nankana Sahib, known to be the birth place of Gurunanak Dev is vandalised by a Muslim mob.

A Muslim mob murdered a Sikh youth named Ravinder Singh who came to shopping for his marriage in Peshawar.

The Citizenship Amendment Act passed by Indian Parliament which ensures fast track citizenship of persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh faced criticism from many minority religious organization for not including Muslims in the list and including Akali Takhta well known Sikh religious body.

On 28th March, Captain Amrinder Singh, CM of Punjab had requested Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S.Jaishankar  to evacuate and airlift the Sikhs from Afghanistan after the deadly attack Dear @DrSJaishankar, there are a large number of Sikh families who want to be flown out of Afghanistan. Request you to get them airlifted at the earliest. In this moment of crisis, it’s our bounden duty to help them.

In need of the hour like this, the Indian Sikh community must extend their support to the CAA to ensure safety of their Pakistani and Afghani counterparts, so they can able to live a better life in India.

COVID 19 may bow its head and supremacy to Indians- A scientific insight

0

The article published recently in Lancet www.thelancet.com/respiratory Vol 8 April 2020 has brought out a new finding which suggests the possibility that COVID 19 may go calm and meek to Indians than to people of EU or USA.

The research publication has brought out the most preferred target sight of COVID 19 in the lung cells.  Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptors are the one COVID 19 attaches and then it finds its way to lung cells. Therefore those two who have high number of ACE2 receptors in trachea, bronchi and bronchioles are highly susceptible to viral infection, leading to severe respiratory infection and possible death.

The question is who are likely to have higher number of ACE2 receptors in trachea, bronchi and bronchioles? The Lancet research article clearly suggests that those elderly people who suffer from various medical conditions like cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney diseases often receives ACE2 inhibitors which bound to increase ACE2 receptors as a consequent event.

Therefore all those elderly people who are suffering from either of the above diseases and or treated with ACE2 inhibitors are the most susceptible groups as they are likely to have increased ACE2 receptors in their lower respiratory tract. The above Lancet research paper also points out clearly why COVID 19 is less virulent in young age group is because of lower level of ACE2 receptors in them, giving least to no chance for the virus to bind, colonize and then establish.

The research findings if we have to correlate with Indian context, Indians are relatively safe and even the elderly population. This interpretation does not recommend people to defy the lock down and social distancing but it is meant only to assure Indians through the prism of science.

Several indicators from Indian scenario suggest that COVID 19 cannot go arrogant and uncontrollable Hitler to Indians. The above research work published in Lancet also points towards why COVID 19 is more of rich man’s disease, disease of new world and disease of higher echelon than of poor man in the street.

Although the published data of COVID 19 positive cases may be much lower than the actual because of the possibility of positive cases away or remain outside the radar of government testing in our society, we cannot discount or deny.

How many days the Nizamudin cluster remained with COVID 19 and has escaped the radar of Government explain the above possibility.

Even if a cluster of COVID 19 positive group exist in our society which has escaped the radar of the government but no report of hospitalization or any such medical rush has reported to have happened from any parts of India.

If we analyse the number of registered death of people from various states per month or week statistics, a dramatic increase in the death of people is not being reported and no such medical alarm, the government has received until now.

Then we also need to question about how significant is COVID 19 positive means?

No doubt a person positive for COVID 19 in all possibility can infect several people he encounters inadvertently. The several others also can transmit or gift the virus to others giving an excellent opportunity for COVID 19 to meet and be with them and if possible, COVID 19 can also take their life.

The larger question is should we over-cry or make war cry over COVID 19? We need to alert our people, must give them all do’s and don’ts clearly, continuous sensitization is necessary for social distancing but, is lockdown a solution?

A lockdown without any planning, thinking and taking even the state governments or local administrations into confidence and without caring the life and livelihood of millions and millions of people, can it scare COVID 19 or people?

Scientists all over the world are looking at India very curiously and are wondering why COVID 19 is behaving so differently in India. So far Europeans and Americans were claiming they are superior to Asians and Indians, is that the reason why even COVID 19 prefers Europeans and American more than Indians?

BCG vaccination in childhood, viral mutation, ACE2 receptor, inherent immunity… what not the scientists are going to explore to tell the world why COVID 19 behave so differently to Indians?

As a matter of fact, government is also running from pillar to post after lock down and have consulted even grandma’s village healing practice/recipe and its science to deal COVID 19. Are we not chasing a joke in the hour of tragedy, instead of looking for scientific answer?

So much owed by so many to so few

0

The Dunkirk evacuation, codenamed Operation Dynamo, saw the rescue of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) and other Allied soldiers from the French seaport of Dunkirk. It is a fact that by 4th June 1940, nearly 350,000 troops were saved by the Royal British Navy. Brilliantly spinning the retreat/ defeat at Dunkirk into an expression of the “Dunkirk spirit”, Prime Minister Winston Churchill urged British people to display the grit of the British troops and the can-do attitude of civilians who volunteered their ships for the rescue operation. The British soldiers received a Heroes welcome in their country after they were safely evacuated from Dunkirk.

It is believed that Friedrich Paulus, the German General, who was tactfully promoted by Adolf Hitler to the rank of Field Marshal, just a day before he surrendered along with his remaining troops to the Red Army, wanted to put his weapons down much before the actual date of surrender, because he already realised that the battle of Stalingrad, sooner or later, is lost. But he could not do so because he was afraid of the humiliation he and his troops would face, if they would make it back to Germany. They could not even imagine a situation like that of the British soldiers after Dunkirk.

Never in the history of human conflict, was so much owed by so many to so few. Winston Churchill said so during an address to the British empire in honour of the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain in World War II.

During the fight for Berlin we’ve already lost 15-20,000 of the younger officers. Adolf Hitler: But that’s what young men are for. [From the movie, Downfall (2004)].

Many such examples in history depict the importance of motivating Soldiers during the war. In the present times, when we are facing a situation that is, if not equal, cannot be said to be less than a war, our actual soldiers/ heroes are the people who are working on the ground. Doctors, hospital support staff, officials from various Government Ministries/ Departments, Police Officers, Sanitation workers et alia.

Amidst our battle with the current situation, an extremely disturbing and terrifying news flashed on our TV and Mobile screens regarding the attack on Madhya Pradesh healthcare workers and civic officials by a mob in an Indore neighborhood, as the team visited the area to screen residents for signs of the virus. It is reported that two women doctors are injured in the attack and were rescued by police officials. The shocking attack came two days after people from the Ranipura area of Indore allegedly spat at officials and abused them during screening procedures. It is further reported that Indore has almost 76% of the total number of Coronavirus cases in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is also speculated that many of them are suspected to have contracted the virus during and/or after attending the Tablighi Jamat even held in New Delhi in the mid of March 2020.

Reports of attacks on Doctors and misbehaviour with Police & Health Officials have come to light in various parts of the Country and is a matter of utter shock and surprise that even reports of Doctors and other officials not being provided with PPEs have surfaced. In June 2019, about 800,000 doctors across India went on strike to demand better working conditions, following years of complaints about violent attacks from patients’ families. This was triggered by an incident of the brutal assault on a junior Doctor in Kolkata, West Bengal. Indian Medical Association conducted a survey revealing that 75% of doctors have complained of verbal abuse and 12% of physical violence at some point of time in their careers.

Why is it that even during such testing times, we have to see such a situation where our Doctors are not feeling safe? The average years of student life of a Doctor is much more than others who are pursuing professional courses. The pressure upon them is enormous and there is no scope of being callous with their duty. Also, they have to face a lot of jokes about their handwriting. Nonetheless, this is the time to remind ourselves of what “an apple a day” cannot do, only a Doctor can.

The “Thaali Bajao” request by the Prime Minister may have its stock of critics. However, even if we can have one able person to come out and help in whatever way possible to one family of Doctors/ hospital support staff/ Government Servants/ Police Officers/ Sanitation workers etc., living in their neighborhood, it will be of great help to our Soldiers fighting for us on the front. We have examples of battles where even a small contingent of motivated soldiers can defeat an opposition which outnumbers them by a huge margin. Our soldiers here are fighting a battle with an enemy they cannot easily see but the situation is not vice-versa for the enemy.

The Government of India should immediately promulgate an ordinance/ order regarding the safety of Doctors and other Officials who are working day and night for our lives and future of the Country at this time and the same should be given wide publicity. Further stringent provisions of Law should be made for the same purpose when the present situation of a health emergency becomes normal. The Media should also play a more constructive role in it and rather than their usual petty debates on who is to be blamed for the spread of the Virus and which Politician has said what about the other in a Tweet.

It is a matter of fact that many historians say that the reason Hitler lost the war was because, after a point of time, he thought that it was not the soldier who is winning him the war but rather he is the sole reason for the victory of the Soldier(s). Let us not willfully choose to be Hitlers of our lives and devalue the contribution of our Soldiers in this battle. We should not bring this to a point where we make them feel that they are heroes Gotham City needs right now, but not the ones we deserve.

After all, in this war, the “Dunkirk spirit” must outshine the fear of Friedrich Paulus.

Congress is dead: Long live the Congress!

Whenever my Mother in Law meets her Grandchildren, she prefers to discuss topics of their liking. Say movies or rap songs. Is she trying to appropriate their parent’s authority? Or she is just trying to stay relevant?

Indira Gandhi issued stamp in the name of Swayntraveer Savarkar in 1970. Was she trying to appropriate RSS/Jan Sangh’s legacy? Or trying to make peace with Hindu nationalists?

In Oct 2019 Manmohan Singh issued a statement saying Congress is not against Veer Savarkar, but it does not favour the Hindutva ideology he stood for. Was he trying to appropriate the legacy? Or was trying to stop the Nationalist vote from slipping further away from Congress? You decide!

But then from the 2019 General Elections results it’s clear that Manmohan Singh and many pragmatic Congress politicians like him were not successful in stopping the inevitable. Congress was routed.

What you are witnessing months later are the domino effects of that monumental defeat. In July 2019, in Karnataka 14 Congress and 3 JDS MLA resigned to bring the Congress-JDS Government in minority. Which paved the way for BS Yeddyurappa to be CM again. Later, 12 of those were back in assembly by winning by-elections held in Dec 2019. Within 9 months of Yeddyurappa come back, in a repeat of Karnataka operation, 22 Congress MLAs in Madhya Pradesh decided to say bye to Congress. This brought Congress Government in minority and Kamalnath had to resign. But this time the casualty was not just one state Government. One of the biggest Congress leaders from MP, Jyotiraditya Scindia decided to switch sides.

Scindia joining BJP was quite an event. It tore the heart out MP Congress. And it portends the grim future Congress faces in more than one ways. One, it reflects the immediate political exigencies. Second, it also means Congress, for a long time will not be in a position to acquire any significant position of power. Lastly it means the ideological ground in Indian politics has shifted for ever.

Politicians are smartest people around us. They can sense early which way wind is blowing. Scindia obviously was very uncomfortable with current arrangement in Madhya Pradesh. With Kamalnath in control of Government and party monitored by Digvijay Singh, it was natural that he was feeling cornered. To add to that, reportedly his Rajya Sabha nomination from Madhya Pradesh was in jeopardy. Now after the switch his RS seat is guaranteed.  But Scinida won’t take such a big decision for such a trifle. It means he has sensed Congress in current state cannot withstand Modi led BJP’s juggernaut. He knew there was a rebellion brewing in MP amongst Congress MLAs. And he was not the reason behind the unrest. He was merely helping the brewing mutiny to take shape and use it to the hilt for his own selfish motive.

There was a reason for this unease amongst MLA. After 15 years of BJP rule, notwithstanding the anti-incumbency, Congress just scrapped through. And then, ran a shockingly callous administration; which seemed only interested in pleasing contractors and transfer mafia. Such was the scale of Congress misrule that, in 15 months it made people nostalgic about the earlier Shivraj Singh regime. So when these 22 MLAs resigned they had little doubt, that most of them, in repeat of Karnataka, would be re-elected.

So what’s wrong with Congress? How can a politician with such strong relations with Rahul Gandhi himself leave party in such disrespectful manner? Remember what Rahul said when Jyotiraditya held the Press conference to announce his decision? He said, he is the only leader who can walk-in into my home. Obviously he had much more on his mind than personal access to Gandhis and friendship with his childhood pal, Rahul. But then how come Congress high-command failed to read his mind? Or were they not interested in knowing? You see, Scindia’s frustration was very widely known. One, he had openly supported BJP on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). And most importantly in Nov, one fine day he decided to remove ‘Congress’ from his Twitter bio. On the same day I had put this FB post.

So, if a casual observer like me can predict this event 3 months in advance, how come Sonia, the supreme leader, didn’t know this? Of course she and her coterie knew what’s brewing in Madhya Pradesh. Point is, Congress high command is not interested in handing over the lever of powers to anyone outside the small clique knows as ‘Family Loyalists’. Hence at the behest of another loyalist, Digvijay Singh, Jyotiraditya Scindia was ignored. Which he found too much to digest, and eventually called it quits.

Which brings us to the biggest overarching factor, Ideology. Such has been the magnitude and depth of Modi led BJP’s twin victories (2014 and 2019) that it has shaken the Indian polity at its base. Today BJP occupies the Nationalism, Religion and Economic Well-being, all three planes of electoral politics. Congress style Secularism or Neuhrivian Consensus, no more is a vote catcher it used to be. Which basically means for aspiring politicians like Scindia there was nothing to lose even if he leaves Congress. I mentioned above, Scindia changed his Twitter bio, but there was not much outcry then. Seems many Congress leaders were ready for him leaving the party. What they were not ready was, he joining BJP.

Consider another aspect. Scindia is a subscriber of BJP’s Nationalist creativities. But RSS/BJP continuously pushing Cultural narratives may make him uncomfortable. He did not utter a word (Positive) for any of the strident Hindutva agendas (say Ram Mandir) or a word (Negative) for Rahul Gandhi. He has no problem with Rahul and he won’t be converted into a Hindutva votary for a foreseeable future.

Lastly don’t forget, both together, were at the forefront of pushing Congress towards soft Hindutva. And Soft Hindutva may have been one of the reason; but it highlighted the sharp differences between two camps in the Gandhi household. To which Late Arun Jaitley famously referred as Palace coup. This switch by Scindia looks like a change in tactics rather than alteration in strategy. There is no change of heart here. By doing this, he is trying to protect his captive vote, which can be used in future.

He is merely waiting for right opportunity so that he, along with his childhood chummy, Rahul (minus the coterie), create a new Congress, which can be more relevant. He is biding his time and will come back to build a Congress which can fight BJP.

Islamic fanaticism – Beyond the ignorance of COVID 19 & a desperate need for rejecting the ideology by Muslims

0

The obsessive enthusiasm for the sacred religion of Islam has led few ‘guardians’ of the Islamic faith now oppose the pandemic threat of COVID-19 and the denial of maintaining the social distancing.

These fanatics often through the theological and social control of the community are trying to hard oppose the social distancing and medical help being provided to them.

The doctors across many parts of India are scared and agitated against such criminal souls. One doctor said- “I’m sitting outside a COVID-19 unit for dinner. Judge sahab bol denge if doctors are scared, then just sit at home. And then people wonder why most of us immigrate out”.

The so called Maulanas who consider themselves of custodians of Islam, generally portray themselves as educators helping people maintain correct beliefs by pointing out errors in knowledge and judgment of non Muslims. Making the innocent followers believe that punishment and death came only to those who refused to admit their errors. Beyond the Qayamat day – there is a possibility of suffering & death due to COVID-19, the fanatics must admit.

The extreme doctrines of radical Islam has increasingly become an internationally recognized term now. The Quran preaches for struggle against oppression & not spitting, throwing stones & hurting doctors, security personnels and administration. This is surely a hatred against the thoughtful request made by PM Modi for Social Distancing.

The fanatics’ struggle has gone beyond the military – its now making its inroad in disturbing the social fabric & opposing the governance.

Two teams comprising doctors of which one was a Muslim doctor and Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) workers were visiting the Tatpatti Bakhal neighborhood in Indore, when local muslims started pelting them with stones.

One of the two doctors said, “I am really scared, not even in the condition to speak. We went there for screening as directed by the Health Department. We have been going there for three days as we got contact history of a positive case there.” The locals said – ‘Inhe andar mat aane do, baahar maar do, jaanch nahi karne denge..’

Tatpatti Bakhal neighbourhood is a sensitive spot with at least two positive cases reported from the area after which nearly 54 families were put under quarantine, much to the anger and chagrin of residents.

There has been a complaint by Chief Medical Officer, Ghaziabad about the pervert behavior of Fanatics from #TabligiJamaat being kept at Isolation Ward of Ghaziabad District Hospital. The people from Jamaat are roaming without trousers, listening to pervert songs, asking for Beedi Cigarettes and making obscene remarks on female nurses. Other such incidents happened in Bangalore, Munger (Bihar), Hyderabad.

It is an alarming situation wherein health workers who are fighting the corona battle are being put to such a situation. These people must be identified as criminals of top order, even attacking the medics who are like angels savings lives in this grim situation.

The prejudice of radical islam demands fierce opposition of non believers. This is just a plain stupidity in the name of Allah! Their language itself shows how poisonous the non believers are in their hearts.

Amidst this global pandemic crisis, some people are trying to veil the Tablighi Jamaat’s irresponsibility by bringing up a 13th March report by PTI about government officials having still not declared corona virus a public health emergency and hence the Sunni Muslim group didn’t violate any norms.

Fact Check: The government of Delhi led by Arvind Kejriwal had on on 13/03/2020 prohibited any gathering of more than 200 people under the Epidemic Diseases Act. Also the order prohibited religious gatherings of over 50 people from 16 March.

To add, the government also directed people coming from any COVID-19 affected country to self-isolate. The members of the Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin willfully violated both these directions by Delhi government.

The idiotic comparison between Markaz & exodus of migrant worker is not foolish but an attempt to create a confusion & further divide. The workers chose to travel because they felt there was no option, no food & shelter. There was indeed a lack of communication between the workers & the Delhi government.

The Tablighi Jamaat has been the ‘Super Spreader’ of Corona virus in India with more than 400 infected people belonging to it.

No one knows the whereabouts of those thousands of people who attended trhe Tablighi Jamaat and who they have contacted in the last fortnight. Maulana Saad, the chief of Tablighi Markaz who appealed all his followers to rather die in mosques is himself on a hideout. What an Irony! Unfortunately, all of this was done in the name of Islam.

For the past 70 years, the appeasement politics has had been deep rooted that a section of minorities consider themselves above Constitution of India. They have a belief of protection which is ensured by dangerous barter system of vote bank politics all this while.

With the command center shifting from educated liberals to religious heads, the scientific fervor of inclusive community has loosen. This somewhat poses a hindrance to collateral development and threat to coexistence with community in harmony.

It’s time for right thinking Muslims of the country to speak up against this gross violation of human safety. The uneducated people are not just Muslims but more or less in every religion and it’s time for sane minds to not allow the radical minds to grab this opportunity.
