Tibet, before the massive Chinese influx of the 1950s, was a self-sufficient society. The Chinese invasion of Tibet, which culminated in the 1962 war between India and China, has often been portrayed as the “Great Chinese Betrayal” and “a stab in the back”. But actually it was a “stab in the front” because the stab was invited by India’s own Prime Minster, Jawaharlal Nehru.
In the year 1950, two momentous events shook Asia and the world. One was the Chinese invasion of Tibet, and the other, the Chinese intervention in the Korean War. The Chinese announced their invasion of Tibet on 25 October 1950. But about a year before the Chinese invasion, Nehru had written: “Chinese communists are likely to invade Tibet.” Despite being aware about this invasion, Nehru was showing more interest in Korea than in Tibet and encouraged the Chinese invasion into Tibet. According to Claude Arpi, a French expert on Tibet and China, said, Without Delhi’s active support, the Chinese troops would not have been able to survive in Tibet.” At one point of time Nehru went to an extent of providing truck loads of rice to Chinese armed forces for four years. For some weird reason, Nehru was also taking interest to sponsor China as a member of the UN Security Council instead of safeguarding Indian interests in Tibet.
A warning by Sardar Patel
The First Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru actually helped the China to conquer Tibet. Sardar Patel had recognized that in 1950, China was in a vulnerable position, fully committed in Korea and by no means secure in its further land grabbing spree. But Nehru ignored Patel. Sardar Patel had also said later in a letter to then Secretary General of the Ministry of External Affairs and Commonwealth, Sir Girja Shankar Bajpai, that, “The Chinese advance into Tibet upsets all our security calculations. I entirely agree with you that a reconsideration of our military position and a redisposition of our forces are inescapable.” Sardar Patel passed away five weeks later.
But the mistake of hob-nobbing with Shaikh Abdullah in Kashmir was repeated in a similar way and this time with its Eastern neighbour. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) defeated the Tibetan army in a battle at Chamdo in 1950.
If India would have taken a aggressive stand, it was having an international support and the world opinion was strongly against Chinese aggression in Tibet. The world in fact was looking at India to take the lead. The English journal ‘The Economist’ had echoed the Western viewpoint when it wrote: “Having maintained complete independence of China since 1912, Tibet has a strong claim to be regarded as an independent state. But it is for India to take a lead in this matter. If India decides to support independence of Tibet as a buffer state between itself and China, Britain and U.S.A. will do well to extend formal diplomatic recognition to it.” Even after the loss of Tibet, Nehru gave up opportunities to settle the border with China.
In 1954, China and India concluded with the Panchasheel – Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence under which India acknowledged Chinese sovereignty in Tibet. Nehru also foolishly promoted the slogan Hindi-Chini bhai-bhai (India and China are brothers).
A warning by Dr. Ambedkar
It has to be noted what Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had said in the Parliament in 1954. He said “By allowing the Chinese to take possession of Lhasa, the Prime Minister has practically helped them bring their border down to the Indian border… Aggression might well be committed by people who are always in the habit of committing aggression.”
Beginning in 1956, the CIA used Indian territory to recruit Tibetan guerrillas to fight Chinese troops, with a base in Kalimpong, India. The Indian public was also outraged when it learned in 1958 that China had built a road between Xinjiang and Tibet through Indian territory in Aksai Chin which is historically a part of Indian state of Ladakh.
These and some other related incidents triggered a India-China war in 1962.
A Golden Chance to announce ‘Free Tibet’
China not informing the world about CoVID-19 virus and going an aggressive way against the world at large, international and national focus should be very clear. China is going about flexing muscles all around and having new ‘National Security Law’ in Hong Kong too. This has to be taken notice of.
While writing this article, Chinese government mouthpiece, Global Times, on 3rd June, reported that Chinese military in Tibet conducted high altitude, night-time infiltration drills in Tanggula Mountains amid the ongoing border stand-off with India. “The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Tibet Military Command recently sent troops to a high-altitude region at an elevation of 4,700 meters at night for infiltration exercises behind enemy lines and tested their combat capability under a harsh environment”.
Earlier in May 2020, Republican lawmaker Scott Perry introduced a bill in the Congress to authorize President Donald Trump to recognize Tibet as an independent nation. He has also introduced a similar bill for Hong Kong and these two bills were referred to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
With a overall International Public opinion against China, India needs to take a initiative and support ‘Free Tibet’ to rectify the mistake of Nehruvian Era.
A religion that naturally develops in a place over centuries of interaction and thoughts of the people is called a natural religion.Hinduism is a natural religion. They live in harmony with nature & even worship it. Their rules and duties are natural rules, they are not in opposition to rules of some other religion.Hindus worship cow and punish cow killers legally because it is sacred to them not because a particular group sees it as a duty to kill cows. Their support or opposition to any thing is because it comes to naturally to them not because they are in opposition to some other set of rules. Natural religions do not have any founder who started the religion all of a sudden. They mostly happen to have a big pantheon of deities each with their own characteristics. Their practices usually varies by geography, occupation or ancestry of the adherent.
What are reactionary or counter religions?
A reactionary religion is basically a “cult” against a natural religion or even a pre-existing reactionary religion. It’s rules & duties are based on opposition to some other religion. The rules change as the enemy changes.Their only purpose is to oppose an earlier religion or teaching. In many cases they have been able to entirely wipe out the original religion of that place. Judaism is in opposition to paganism in Egypt, Zoroastrianism in opposition to Vedic Hinduism,Buddhism & Jainism also in opposition to Hinduism. Christianity in opposition to Judaism,Islam in opposition to pagan religions in Arabia. Sikhism in opposition to aspects of Hinduism.
Can natural religions like Hinduism ever live in harmony with these counter religions?
With time and minor and major scuffles the three Indian counter-religions became part of the Indosohere and got Hinduised. The reason was that these three religions were not entirely opposed to Hinduism but merely to some aspects of it, all of them used Hindu imagery and hence lived in harmony with Hinduism for the most part. There were theological debates of Hindu saints with the religious figures from these religions and they were always very peaceful were both parties were tolerant of each other views. Hindu kings used to promote all of these religions more or less equally.
Can Hindus ever live in harmony with the Abrahmic cults and why?
No, Hindus can only have temporary peace with these cults. Nothing teaches like history and it has time and again proven that Hindus are a separate people, nation and civilization altogether with no chance of assimilation with the abrahmic cults without destroying itself. It`s either us or either them.
What is Mosaic distinction?
The term “Mosaic distinction” means the distinction created by the Abrahamic religions viz Judaism, Islam and Christianity. It derives it’s name from Moses, the most important prophet in Judaism and also renowned in Christianity and Islam. It is this distinction that separates these three religions from the rest and makes peaceful coexistence with them difficult and numerous times just impossible. It is this distinction why Hindus and Indian Muslims despite living with each other since centuries still can not unite with each other. It is the distinction between idol worshipers and idol smashers, the distinction between cow worshipers and beef eaters, the distinction between Devi worshipers and women offenders, the distinction between the sacredness of marriage and the system of Halala. It is this distinction which will end only when one of us ends.
Waves of dissolution, washed the shores of Democratic Indian Republic on 9th December 2019, when words of “Citizenship”, “Persecution” & “Minority”, oozed out of the mouth of India’s Home Minister in Lok Sabha.
A bill was announced, that’d arrange the above three quoted words in a structured document and purvey asylum to those who reek of misfortune, religious intolerance imposed on them and living in denial of basic human rights. Speaking of rights, the far-left or the secular left, was quick to reach the vicinity, where the waves had crashed hard, and there they erected the flag of victim-hood, to set a precedent of injustice, being deliberately done on one particular community. In doing so, they only managed to corner a simple correction of a historical blunder, by bordering it with conundrum walls.
“Citizenship Amendment Bill, will provide homage to the persecuted minorities of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, who have been living in India as refugees, the communities included are Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, Parsis, Jains, Jews and Sikhs”. These words by Home Minister Amit Shah, traveled faster than a kid returning from school, before the start of summer vacation. It was evident on what was missing, who were missing and going by the precedent, we assumed was set by BJP, we missed out on learning why they were missing. Labels of “Unconstitutional”, “fascist”, “Hindutva terrorism”, were lamented through streets of every city, on anyone who had even remotely supported the current government. Ironically, these labels were distributed by secular modernists, who refuse to learn from history, the horrors of pseudo-secularism & liberalism.
People coming in support of the act.
cc Let’s go back all the way to the day, a massive chunk of a newly independent India’s land, was given to Islamists, who didn’t wish to live with the “Kaafirs”.
Map of India post partition.
It isn’t a new finding, that the partition of India, was centrally based on the grounds of religion. However, words exchanged between Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first PM & Liaquat Ali Khan, his Pakistani counterpart, during the partition, have recently surfaced.
The Nehru-Liyaquat Agreement
A pact was signed between the two PMs to protect & shelter their minorities, Hindus in Islamic Pakistan and Muslims in…well, Secular India. The treaty was infamously known as Nehru-Liyaquat Agreement, equally owned by both the countries on 8th April 1950. In the backdrop of CAA being effective, it is pretty evident which country has masqueraded as a rolling ball of doldrums in terms of minority protection & which nation has put up pedestals, to host Deobandi & Barelvi alike.
Mahatma Gandhi & Muhammad Ali Jinnah
The Great Mahatma Gandhi, an unequivocal denigrator of the Two Nation Theory, was often found under the same umbrella as Jinnah, when it came to the genesis of the newly created Islamic Republic, and all the subsidy it could garner as an underpin from India, to survive & ascend. Not to mention, it was Mahatma’s decision to fast till death, in order to refute India’s decision to uphold financial aid to Pak, which led to his unfortunate assassination.
When the clouds of grey were covered with shades of darkness, and the storms were strong enough to breach Gandhi’s umbrella, to drench him & Jinnah with culpability & delinquency, it was then the Mahatma saw Jinnah run away, it was then he witnessed the harrowing consequences of his own doing, it was then his eyes engulfed the mass persecution of Sikhs & Hindus. Much to his dismay, his idea of a theocracy based Muslim country, had dissolved into a canvas portraying religious persecution, colored with the blood of minorities.
So The Father of Nation wrote, “It is the bounden duty of the majority in Pakistan, as of the majority in the Union, to protect the small minority whose honour and life and property are in their hands….
To drive every Muslim from India and to drive every Hindu and Sikhs from Pakistan will mean war and eternal ruin for the country. (H, 28–9–1947, p. 352)
Gandhi, The Founder of CAB vs Gandhi family, The Objector.
So to say, Gandhi would have been ashamed to the core, had he lived to this day to see the bill being enacted, is a fallacy & a contradiction to the Great Man’s ideology, who acknowledged the wrong doings imposed on the minorities of Pakistan & was very specific about Sikhs & Hindus to be given refuge in India.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the pilot of Indian constitution, had a very resolute solution to this quandary. The man who understood the greater devil rising both sides of the border, post partition, saw through the trepidation & thus passed an absolution: Population exchange. He wanted Muslims of India, to be exchanged with Hindus of Pakistan, to dissolve the communalism he could see forming, once and for all. Dr Ambedkar wrote:
The Musalmans are scattered all over Hindustan — though they are mostly congregated in towns — and no ingenuity in the matter of redrawing of boundaries can make it homogeneous. The only way to make Hindustan homogeneous is to arrange for exchange of population. Until that is done, it must be admitted that even with the creation of Pakistan, the problem of majority vs. minority will remain in Hindustan as before and will continue to produce disharmony in the body politic of Hindustan..(An excerpt taken from his book ‘Pakistan or Partition of India’)
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar suggesting Population Exchange to Pandit Nehru
The idea of the great visionary, was rejected by Pandit Jawaharlal “Secular” Nehru, as does the current ‘Jai BHIM Jai Meem’ lobby, unaware, repudiated of history, facts, research & works of India’s Constitution drafter, whom they so proactively use as a tool to deflect BJP’s agendas, ironically, going against everything he stood for.
Let us understand the bill, which later became an act, in depth and analyze the pros and cons if any. It was Manmohan Singh, who felt it was India’s moral obligation, to offer asylum to the minorities of our neighboring countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh & Pakistan to be referred as ABP), suffering from the atrocities committed on them, in the form of religious persecution. For a man whose silence was often taken as sainthood, he was exclusively vocal about the issue in 2003.
So why do we hear loud echoes of “Fascism”, “Unconstitutional”, “Islamophobe” etc. when BJP was able to pass in Rajya Sabha, what was started by Manmohan Singh and co in 2003-4?
Yes, the former government didn’t specify which communities will board the ship, to avoid the sea of uncertainties, but is it a rocket science to understand, who would fall under ‘religiously persecuted minorities’, in an Islamic Republic?
With the creation of Pakistan, there was a communal shift which the entire country witnessed, while everyone understood, there’d be a rise in Muslim population in a country, specifically established for the Muslim community, no one expected the Hindu & Sikh population to deteriorate at such a mammoth magnitude. From being world’s second largest largest Hindu country on 14th August 1947, West Pakistan orchestrated a complete annihilation of Hindus, reducing the community to 1.9% during the start of 2000s.
While East Pakistan(Today’s Bangladesh), was a self declared secular republic till 1955, it made the world see one of the ugliest, bloodiest genocides of all time, massacring hordes of Hindu men, women & kids, reducing the number from 22% to <7%, post declaring itself an Islamic Country.
So the Non-Muslims, who fled from these Muslim countries, to avoid persecution at the hands of Islamists, came to India, should be sheltered as per Mahatma Gandhi, given refuge as per the moral obligation of India, acknowledged by Manmohan Singh, are instead witnessing buses being burnt, government properties vandalized, stones being pelted at police, just because a particular section believes, along with the prey, the predator must be given citizenship as well.
A burning question rises, Why No Shia & Ahemadiya are included in the bill?
To answer this, let’s dive back to the pool of history set in Black & White. Pakistan’s First Prime Minister, Liyaquat Ali Khan, was a Muhajir. Pakistan’s First Foreign Minister Zafarullah Khan, was an Ahemadiya. Father of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was a Shi’a, who despite being a pork eater and alcoholic(two things strictly forbidden in Islam), was given the title of Quaid-e-Azam(Great leader in Urdu).
Liyaquat Ali Khan & Zafarullah Khan on a visit to UK.
The ordinal status of the ministers kept increasing & the rulers became servants. Now Shias & Ahemadiyas are persecuted, wait hold on…. But they’re Muslims, why are they under the same scanner as Non-Muslims? Well, not exactly, they aren’t persecuted because of their religion, they follow the same religion as the Sunni majority of Pakistan. Couple of fingers are pointed at them, as they tend to practice their religion a bit differently than the majority.
So are they a persecuted minority in Pakistan? YES. Are they religiously persecuted? NO. Can they be included in the bill, which offers citizenship to minorities, suffering from religious persecution? NO. Can they avail Indian citizenship in the future? YES, the door is always open. I believe there are many who can sing a better melody than Adnan Sami.
Ahemadiyas & Shias are persecuted in Pakistan, because of Pakistan’s egregious governance. Their suffering, falls under the domain of secretarial persecution. A country, formed on the basis of religion, has shown us that, theocracy cannot exist as a single religious body.
I AM BABARI banner displayed in Bangalore, during an Anti-CAB protest.
It comes as a least surprise that, break India forces have existed in India, ever since Jinnah created Pakistan. The man left the country, leaving behind many planted seeds, those seedlings have turned into trees, mammoth enough to house anti-nationalists & Islamists. Citing out bigotry, hating on the country, labeling the government fascist, while drawing out communal differences has become second nature to them.
A hidden agenda has surfaced, with the last year’s Anti CAB protests. There was an observed daylight between, what the bill stands for & what the protesters understood of it, however banners of ‘I am Babari’ & ‘Free Kashmir’, in an Anti CAB protest suggested the sinister plotting, behind the big setup done by opposition, to frame & demonize the current government in front of the international media. What appears as an Anti CAB protest, is a masked vitriol against the Ram Mandir verdict & abrogation of Article 370, and in reality has nothing to do with the bill.
KHILAFAT 2.0 written on a wall inside Jamia Millia Islamia University
It can be understood & established that, while there’s nothing Anti Muslim about CAA, the major protests against CAA have all been Anti Hindu. From Khilafat 2.0(to remind of the Malabar Hindu Genocide, where 2500 Hindus were slaughtered during 1920 Khilafat Movement) being written on one of the walls of Jamia Millia Islamia, Alligarh Muslim University students chanting “Hindutva ki kabar khudegi AMU ki chati par”, to JNU students screaming loudly from their epiglottis, “Bharat tere tukde honge, insha allah”, it has been deliberately done to malign Hindus & shoot bullets at Hinduism in the name of protests.
The Three Musketeers
A poster in an Anti CAA rally says, “Muslim is our brother, Brahman is a butcher”
This hatred towards Hindus, started getting magnified with each passing day, the extremism thickening & opacity thinning, from translucent to the agenda being transparent enough, for everyone, even for the ones with a clouded vision, to see what the protest is about. This was no more about being a democrat, this was no longer about fighting for constitutional rights, the day placards were replaced with petrol bombs, and a Hanuman Temple was desecrated in Bihar, during the protests, a small section of minorities, had already declared a communal war, which got cloaked by the fog of “secularism”.
Anti Hindu protests masked as Anti CAA protests
Bigotry & personal attacks are no one’s firsthand property, nowadays one encounters umpteen number of liberals who take personal jabs at people, without even understanding what they hate. Spreading hatred against any organization or group of people due to one’s sheer ignorance, is as evil as doing it against a religion. An organization like RSS, which was started for service, and unlike major religions, don’t have deep pockets & funding, is hated on because many progressive liberals don’t know what they do.
Hindu women wrapped in Hijab & a broken Swastika lying at the bottom, signifies mainstream Hinduphobia
Conclusion:
One needs to be open to constructive dialogue and discussion with both sides, without personally attacking the opposition. Spreading hatred in the name of attacking hatred isn’t a solution. Living in a bubble and having preconceived notions are understandable, but seeing beyond that is intelligence.
An act centrally focused on providing citizenship and with that human rights, to the defaulters of religious intolerance, should not be the reason a country burns. The country and the people of it, should see it as a long rope which binds their camaraderie, including the ones who had their hands chopped off.
So, is CAA a necessary evil or a framed hornet’s nest? Probably both, if you see through the glasses of secularism, remove the lenses and it boils down to a simple rectification of a historical blunder.
Women across India celebrate Vat Savitri Vrat in the memory of the powerful female icon Savitri every year. For centuries, her image has caught the imagination of a number of girls across India. Savitri stood for everything which a modern feminist shall strive for. Independent, assertive, devotion, wisdom, intelligence, and a fighting spirit.
Her story appears in the Vana Parva (Chapter of Forest) of ‘Mahabharata’ one of the greatest epic of Hindus.
Savitri is the daughter of Ashwapati, King of Madra. Her father received her in a boon from Goddess Savitri, the divine consort of Lord Brahma. She was one of the most beautiful girls of her time. Further, being raised by a devotional parent, she also had good knowledge and virtues. She was so beautiful that none of the boys of her time even dared to dream of her.
Her father was a wise person. He knew that a girl of such beauty and knowledge cannot get a companion easily. And therefore, he asked her to choose a groom for herself. She goes on a pilgrimage to search for a suitable groom and meets Satyavan during her journey. Satyavan is also the son of a king who has lost his kingdom. Satyavan is good-looking, brave, honest, knowledgable, and a suitable match for Savitri. Savitri falls in love at first sight and chooses him as her life partner. Although Satyavan is not aware of her selection. His father turned blind in his old age and he lost his kingdoms to the enemy. Satyavan’s family were living a modest life in exile. It is astonishing that a good-looking and wise girl like Savitri chooses someone who does not have materialistic pleasure as she has. But isn’t the love all about this? Further, being a Vidhushi, she knows that materialistic pleasure should not be the deciding factor of any relation. It is the nature and character of your partner, which should matter. Savitri sets a good precedent here. She comes back to her father and shares her choice. Her father becomes happy to know about her choice. He asks various questions about Satyavan. Those questions are also very important. In none of the questions, he has asked about how much money he has or how many palaces he owns. Instead, he inquires about characters, knowledge, wisdom of Satyavan. Like in one question, he asks whether Satyavan has the knowledge, and virtue of forgiveness? Whether he is brave or not? Sage Narada was present during all these discussions. He also endorses her choice. But he points out one fault. He says that Satyavan has only one year of his life left. He will die after one year. Worried Ashwapati requests Savitri to change her choice. But the answer she gave must be remembered by everyone. She says she had made her choice. Whether she will get pleasure from this choice or not, should be left to destiny. Using her free will, she has chosen someone who is best for her. And love happens only once! She is not going to change her decision due to any reasons. My life my choice! She indeed stuck to her choice. Another notable thing is, she remained calm and polite throughout the discussions. She did not abuse anyone for not respecting her choice. Instead, through her logical, sensible, and polite arguments, she made others to change their minds. Having a choice is a different thing. And to convince others for our choice is a different thing. She displays considerable patience and assertiveness. One must learn how to assert ourselves without hurting other’s feelings from Savitri. She disagreed with her father, but she did not rebel. Probably, this is the reason why his father in the end admired both her and her choice. Savitri knew that her path is not easy. She had to give up her all comforts when she marries Satyavan. She could have easily chosen someone else who is as wealthy as her and could have lived a life of comfort thereafter. But then, she would not be the roll-model for women empowerment. She stood firm in her choice and she was determined to turn all the odds in her favor. We must highlight firmness of her decision. Many of us make our own decisions. But we are not ready to face repercussions of decisions. If we want the freedom to make our choices, we must have the courage to stick to it firmly and face challenges bravely. After marriage, she took command of her family and tried to build up the lost glory a brick by brick. She understood the limitations of her husband’s family. She has chosen to live this life and she was determined to turn the tide in her favor. She never complains. And why should she complain? She is a strong woman. Her opinion became indispensable in her house. How did she achieve? She achieved it through immense patience, devotion, sacrifice, and love. When you care for others unconditionally, others will also care for you. She proved it. Then, the fateful day comes. The day on which her husband is destined to die. But she is a fighter. She has decided to fight against destiny also. She could have easily accepted the destiny as many others do. But a warrior never gives up. She will fight until there is a last hope. She decided to go for work along with her husband. Because today, her husband needs her protection. And she must protect her. In the forest, her husband dies. Yamaraja comes and takes away the life of Satyavan. But she does not lose her hope. She is a brave girl. She is not frightened to look at the God of Death i.e Yamaraja. Almost all ordinary human being is afraid of Yama. But Savitri is not an ordinary lady. She has courage. She decided to do something which no one else dared. She decides to follow the death, probably the most frightening thing on the earth. She is not crying. She is not begging. She is doing what she believes is correct. She has decided to turn around destiny. She knows that Yamaraja will not grant the life of Satyavan back so easily. After all, Yama has never diverted from his Dharma. There is no such precedent ever. But Savitri does not care. She is not bothered about history. She is determined to make history. While following Yama, she discusses the various subjects of wisdom and knowledge with him. She does not blame Dharma for performing his duty. After all, he was doing what he is supposed to do. But she is quietly following him. Yama is also impressed by her valor, knowledge, and clarity of thoughts. Both discuss various aspects of Dharma. Yama is so much pleased with her that he grants her three boons of her choice. However, she cannot ask for the life of Satyavan in those boons. In the first boon, she asks for the eyesight and health of her father in law. In the second boon, she asks that her father in the law shall get back his lost kingdom. In the third, she asks for a hundred children for her father. During these discussions, Yama a number of times ask her to give up and return to her family, accept destiny and cremate Satyavan. But she is not to be convinced so easily. She kept on pursuing the path she has chosen. She keeps on discussing with Yama. Yama grants her the fourth boon. She wants to become a mother of a hundred children of Satyavan. Yama grants! and yeah he is duped. Yama did not know what he has granted. How can a devoted wife like Savitri beget a child when her husband has died? It is impossible. And to keep his words, Yama has to grant a life of Satyavan back. Lord of Death is trapped by a woman. He is overpowered by her humbleness and wisdom. Death has been defeated and a woman has won. She single handly changed her destiny, destiny of her husband, her father, her father in law and probably crores of women who admire her. Savitri has achieved what nobody else has ever achieved. She made a choice and remained assertive about it. She faced many problems but remained calm and humble. She turned stars in her favor by her knowledge and wisdom. She broke many stereotypes. She is an example of what a determined Hindu woman can achieve. She lived life on her terms. A powerful woman icon we must respect!

Money is the topmost priority of most of the people in today’s world of modernization and liberalisation. No doubt, money is important, to live, to survive it is necessary, but greed of excessive money is not. Have you ever imagined how your greed for money is destroying the childhood of your own kids?
Today everyone wants freedom, freedom from ethics, freedom from duties, freedom from parenthood, freedom from society etc. Even after all these demands of freedom situation was not such catastrophic, but unfortunately today people also want freedom from their own kids. Today a girl and a boy get married (sometimes probably not), they give birth to a baby and then they handover all the responsibilities of that baby to any babysitter, and they both start living their life as they used to live previously. They get busy in their offices, parties, shopping, traveling, enjoyment, fun etc. In short, they even forget that they have given birth to a new life and now they have some responsibilities. They would have to sacrifice there raptures and they will have to raise that kid in such a way that he could become an asset for the society. But in the name of modernization, they easily get rid of all their duties for and because of money.
A child is a gift of nature. He/She needs care, love, nourishment and most important time of his/her parents. Already in our society many children are living in orphanage and many are being raised by single parent, so if any child has the blessings of his/her mother and father then please don’t let that kid to grow in the shadow of any maid or babysitter just because of your stupid desires related to money.
With less than ’24 hours’ remaining for the ‘Lieutenant General’ Level Talks to take place between India and China, on the month long Eastern Ladakh border conflict. Tensions and pressure are mounting up on both sides. While the Chinese have resorted to their air force, and have increased the air activity on the Chinese side of the Sino-Indian LAC border with frequent sorties by Chinese fighter jets over Aksai Chin, they have not breached the 10 Kms ‘No Fly’ zone. The Chinese would be realizing that they are at a disadvantage, with their Indian adversary, as the Chinese air bases are located at a higher altitude, which restricts them to take off with a full-load capacity (Weapons & Fuel)
Meanwhile, the Indian air Force is on full alert, and is monitoring the situation closely. The Indian Air Force has a distinct advantage over the Chinese in air, with a host of air bases at Srinagar and Chandigarh that can deploy fighters at a moment’s notice with full-load (Weapons & Fuel), the Indian Air force is more than capable of negating any Chinese threat and incursion.
Further, the Indian forces have aptly responded by moving its troops to reinforced key positions along the LAC, not only in Ladakh, but right through Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and up to Arunachal Pradesh. As some reports of Chinese troop built up has come through. The forces have also deployed UAV, and increased the frequency of border patrol all along the 3,488 Kms LAC.
The Indian delegation will be led by Lieutenant General Harinder Singh, the ‘General Officer Commanding’ of the Leh based ‘14 Corps’, while the Chinese side will be headed by the ‘Tibet Military District Commander’. The talks will take place at the ‘Border Personnel Meeting Point’ at Maldo.
However, as a surprising move China has appointed Lieutenant General Xu Qiling, as its new Commanding Office, hours ahead of the scheduled talks. The command was previously headed by Lieutenant General Xu Yong. Before this command, General Qiling was attached to the ‘Eastern Theatre Command’, which is one of the five Theatre Commands of the People’s Liberation Army. China, currently is facing a severe backlash over its role in the alleged development and disbursement of COVID-19 on a global scale.
While China nurtures its ambitions to established its position as the global power, and to counter the status of USA; its mode and method adopted to realize its ambition have been one of deception and deceit.
Propelling itself as an economic powerhouse, a journey that commenced in the late ‘70s, China’s stature consistently grew over the coming decades. With the rise of its global stature, China’s appetite for power and dominance also magnified several folds, bringing its political establishment to the brink of becoming a rogue regime.
China’s economy is built on its outwards focus on international markets. With almost 20% of its GDP coming from exports, China cannot afford to lose its grip on global markets. With the pending and looming investigations of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the accrued damages claimed by 100 countries from China, the Chinese are in a desperate situation and are aggressively trying to find means to diffuse these circumstances.
For the past 3,000 years, as long as the Chinese civilization has existed; China has always played its cards with deceit and deceptions. History is a witness to the sinusoidal curve of the power transfer that took place in China over these centuries.
China, by fundamental nature has been an‘expansionist’and an ‘invader’, when matters of territory are concern. Even in today’s time, China has questionable border disputes with 13 out of 14 countries with which it shares its borders. Even with countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan, where China does not share common borders, it has disputes over maritime rights. Such is China, in its nature and thinking. The stand off at Pangong in Western Ladakh, is a link is this ‘thought out’ strategy.
With all eyes on China, China is attempting to create enough chaos, confusion and distraction; that the global community will overlook its role as the mastermind in the COVID-19 pandemic disaster. Unlike the previous UPA led regimes, in India, where China had a free run against India; China is well aware that the Indian Armed Forces will not back down, especially under the present NDA Government; and that the present establishment has both the strength and political will to take on China.
Yet China is continuing with its squeamish in Ladakh, because this time its primary objective is not to simply acquire territory, but is to test the international response and dynamics, specially the American response, through which it will fine tune its near future tactical maneuvers. The high-level Lieutenant General’ meeting to take place tomorrow will not yield much of results. With certainty, the Indian side will demand the withdrawal of the Chinese forces to their previous positions of prior to the standoff.
The Chinese are sure to reject this, and will try to negotiate a partial withdrawal. However, unlike the UPA regime, this time the Indian side will insist on a ‘Complete Withdrawal’, and the meeting will end with a stalemate. Both sides will continue to eyeball each other for some weeks to come. China is a shrewd player; it also realizes that it cannot hold this position for too much of a prolonged time. It knows that India has ramped up its infrastructure and can deploy troops, unlike in 1962, to the LAC quite rapidly.
Secondly, China knows, although does not acknowledge that it is within 2 Kms of Indian territory, which leaves an option for the Indian forces to disrupt the Chinese ‘Supply Line & Logistic Support’, and cripple them. Hence their current situation is not sustainable, until a formal war is declared. Which is highly unlikely under the present or even the near future global scenario. In the context of China, it is important to take note of some facts that are not very openly discussed and debated.
The first fact deals with the position of Xi Jingping, himself. While, before COVID-19, Xi Jingping, commanded a strong support, and had a decisive image in China; post COVID-19, his personal credibility and competency is under question, even within China (although with the nature of the regime, public opinions are not officially allowed to leave China).
The second fact pertains to the unity of China itself. China, historically is not one country, but a group of states that had their own respective rulers. Periodically, these states over time would be forced into one nation, under one dynasty, and then once again disintegrate into separate states. This process has been cyclic over the past 3,000 years of Chinese history.
The communist regime of China, can be looked upon as a modern form of a ‘State Led Dynasty’, that held the Chinese states together for almost a century.
But, in recent times, the internal dynamics of different Chinese states is playing up, specially owing to the fact that apart from the iron clad rule of the communist party, that held the states together; it was also through the propaganda of China becoming a world leader and powerhouse that fueled the Chinese citizen’s minds, and kept them together as one nation.
This perception is now not only being broken, but questioned by the Chinese; both, by the political rivals of Xi Jingping, and also by the Chinese citizens.
Xi Jingping, has grown weaker, his iron grip on China itself is weakening. Xi Jingping will pull back his troops from Ladakh, back to their prior original position, but not as a result of this talk between the military comanders; but as a result of talks directly between Beijing and New Delhi; wherein Xi Jingping, will try to portray himself as a global statesman, showing concerns about regional stability, and claiming that in the interest of ‘Global Stability and Peace’, he has asked his troops to fall back. Xi Jingping and China will continue to posture hard, and try to bluff their way through, but the world is not foolish, it recognizes the truth.
This is a war thrust upon the world by Xi Jingping, and it is not for China’s survival, but more so for Xi Jingping’s own survival.
Xi Jingping’s lust to rival the power enjoyer by POTUS, has made him blind, and has carved the road not only for his own destruction but also the destruction of China in the years to come.
