COVID-19: Are we sensible enough in the time of this pandemic?

0

When we are asked to live inside our home,
and break the chain of COVID-19,
we yearn to come out.
The time is crucial,
to stay inside,
and stop the spread of corona virus.
Days don’t matter,
nor does the endless ticking of the clock,
What to do?
How to spend time?
How to kick start the life?
Which seems to be stopped now in the midst of this chaos.
You are lucky, if you can avoid going outside,
many of us still have to do our duty,
Doctors, nurses, police, power engineers and who so ever.
You are lucky, if you have food to eat and roof to stay,
many of us don’t, and we walked on our feet, from cities to our home states,
some arrived, some perished in the way, if not, by Covid-19, then by poverty
hunger & thirst.
If you don’t have to, be happy & show gratitude to the God,
and spend the time with your loved ones,
be with them, for whom, you claim,
you are running behind money,
for betterment of their future & present,
but you have literally no time for them.
Grab this opportunity to be really with them,
physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually,
sit, and see how much effort your mother put to cook your favourite dish,
and cherish that food, without any haste to run away,
and praise her, if you never did,
thinking that this is her usual day to day work.
Sit with your father, who day by day is getting older and older,
but you have no time to talk to him, and ask if he does need something?
he will not ask you anything, He has always been in the role of your father,
giver, he will not ask anything, but he will be happy,
just if you ask him, If he does need anything?
may be the little time you give, is more than enough for him to make him happy.
Spend time with your brothers and sisters,
without keeping your mobile in hand and head bowed down,
be away from all the social media attention,
and give them the you, the real you,
and show them by your true intention,
how much you care about them.
Sit with your spouse, and listen to her,
Holding her hand, embracing her,
which you haven’t done from such a long time,
In the hassle to earn, to run, to arrive at your offices and shops,
which you think, is not necessary,
If you provide them all the necessity and luxuries of life.
May be this corona is making us realise,
to stop running,
And slow down
and spend time with our loved ones,
Who are not here forever
and more valuable than the money, we are running behind.

Sinister attempts to portray Hindutva as antisemitic

0

There were always attempts to brand Hindu or Hindutva as an extremist or a regressive concept which the world must shun. The mocking of Indian culture, yoga and many gifts of Sanatan Dharma is due to this. In India, Hindus are shown to be in a constant clash with the next two major religions, Islam and Christianity. They form around 14% and 2% of our population according to the 2011 census. Yet, there are states where they form the majority.

However, when we take into consideration the international religious composition, Hinduism comes 3rd followed by Christianity, Islam and unaffiliated people according to Pew Research Centre. Jews stand in the 8th position and form only 0.18% of the world population. In India they are around 0.2% of the population.

Jews have been a persecuted community and still bear the brunt of antisemitism in Europe and USA. India was the only country where they did not face any sort of religious persecution from the major religious group i.e. Hindus. Quoting from this article “Anti-Semitism in India has surfaced through the threats or rhetoric of Islamic organisations such as Lashker-e-Toiba, who have declared Jews and Hindus to be enemies of Islam”.

Drawing false equivalences between Hindutva and Nazism

Let me make it clear, I am using the term Hindutva with Hinduism interchangeably. Not that it means they are two different concepts like the left narrative says. Since the Jews are a minority worldwide and in India, there are attempts to twist facts and portray Hindus as antisemitic. Thereby building a perception that Hindus are not only clashing with the majority, but also with a persecuted minority. This is the reason why some ‘Opposition’ leaders have been trying to equate Hindutva with Nazism, using pretzel logic. The same parties who support Palestine to secure their vote bank.

Tweets from an INC Politician

This must not be seen lightly as the Hindu swastika is being branded as a Nazi symbol, though they are different. Both of them vary in looks and have different histories behind it. The Hindu swastika is older. This was in full display as the swastika was desecrated during the Indian version of intifada under the guise of anti CAA protests.

But there is a significant fact which they hide while attempting to showcase Modi as Hitler. It is about Hitler’s meeting with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini. He had told Hitler they had some common enemies i.e. the English, the Jews and the Communists. This is a full record of their conversation.

Hitler’s meet with Haj Amin al-Husseini

Audrey’s sinister attempts

Audrey Truschke is a notorious character who engages in the art of covering up Mughal atrocities in India. Her favourite ruler being, Aurangazeb. She has left no stone unturned while attempting to demonise Hinduism and Hindus.

Audrey’s attempts to equate Hindutva with Nazism

The difference between her and other Western Indologists is that she tries to provoke Hindus by glorifying a bigoted tyrant like Aurangazeb and then terms the backlash as ‘antisemitism’. What a malicious way to distort and twist the perception! Audrey tries to show that she is being attacked just for being from a particular religion! Thereby, proving the “Nazi Hindutva” bandwagon true, despite no evidence or a logical backing. Nowadays, anyone can make a profile with some Hindu symbols and carry out false flag attacks like these.

Audrey’s lame attempts to portray Hindus as antisemitic

Agenda

Their agenda behind making such a perception is twofold. One, is to bring in the bogus theory of India being a dictatorship and the next, is to show Hinduism as an oppressor which has clashes with a global minority. The propaganda behind emphasising Modi’s vegetarian diet with Hitler’s is also a part of it. In a country like India, where vegetarianism is a diet habit of a significant number of people, it can be used to create a distorted perception about us.

Remembering the two great mathematicians named Bhaskaracharyas and the two Indian Satellites named Bhaskara

Today is 7th June 2020 and would like to humbly write few words about the two Satellites launched by India named after two Great Mathematicians Bhaskaracharya-I and Bhaskaracharya-II

Bhaskara-I was the second Indian satellite launched on 7th June 1979. The first was Aryabhata with 3 nonmeteorological experiments. Bhaskara-I was launched as part of the satellite-for-earth-observations (SEO) program, and was placed in orbit by a Soviet vehicle launched from a Cosmodrome in the USSR. The main objectives were to conduct earth observation experiments for applications related to hydrology, telemetry, oceanography forestry and geology using a two-band TV camera system and a a two-frequency satellite microwave radiometer (SAMIR) system.

Secondary objectives were to test engineering and data processing systems, to collect limited meteorological data from remote platforms, and to conduct scientific investigations in X-ray astronomy. Thereafter Bhaskar-II was launched on November 20, 1981.

Bhaskara was a 26-faced quasi-spherical polyhedron. It had a height of 1.66 m, and a diameter of 1.55 m. Named after the two “Bhaskaracharyas,” astronomer-mathematicians of ancient India. Information and data are available from the Space Application Centre, Ahmedabad, India.

The first amongst the two Mathematicians, Bhaskaracharya – I

Bhaskaracharya-I was a seventh-century Indian mathematician. In mathematics, Bhaskara-I’s sine approximation formula is a rational expression in one variable for the computation of the approximate values of the trigonometric sines ( Circa 600 – 680). This formula is given in his treatise titled Mahabhaskariya. It is not known how Bhaskara I arrived at his approximation formula. However, several historians of mathematics were surprised with its near accuracy and have put forward different hypotheses as to the method Bhaskara might have used to arrive at his formula. The formula is elegant, simple and enables one to compute reasonably accurate values of trigonometric sines. The formula is given in verses 17 – 19, Chapter VII, Mahabhaskariya of Bhaskara I.

The second amongst the two Mathematicians, Bhaskaracharya – II

Bhaskaracharya-II ( Circa 1114 – 1185 ) was an Indian mathematician who extended the work of Brahmagupta ( another Indian Mathematician ) work on number systems. He was born near Bijjada Bida (in present day Bijapur district, Karnataka state in India). Bhaskara was head of an astronomical observatory at Ujjain, the leading mathematical centre of ancient India. Other Indian mathematicians Brahmagupta (598–c. 665) and Varahamihira were also in the same observatory. His father Mahesvara was as an astrologer, who taught him mathematics, which he later passed on to his son Loksamudra. Loksamudra’s son helped to set up a school in 1207 for the study of Bhāskara’s writings.

He wrote a treatise named Siddhant Shiromani. One of the most important characteristic of Siddhant Shiromani is, it consists of simple methods of calculations from Arithmetic to Astronomy. Essential knowledge of ancient Indian Astronomy can be acquired by reading this book which had surpassed all the ancient books on astronomy in India.

Siddhant Shiromani is divided into four parts, Lilawati, Beejaganit, Ganitadhyaya and Goladhyaya. In fact each part can be considered as separate book. The numbers of verses in each part are as follows, Lilawati on Arithmatic has 278, Beejaganit on Algebra has 213, Ganitadhyaya on Mathematical Learnings has 451 and Goladhyaya on Astronomy has 501 verses.

Siddhant Shiromani is unparalleled and a memorial to his profound intelligence. After Bhaskaracharya nobody could write excellent books on mathematics and astronomy in lucid language in India. In India, Siddhant ( theory ) works used to give no proofs of any theorem. Bhaskaracharya has also followed the same tradition. Its translation in several languages of the world bear a testimony to its eminence.

Bhaskaracharya was the first to make a note on gravity, much before Sir Isaac Newton.

At the age of 36, in his treatise Siddhant Shiromani he wrote on planetary positions, eclipses, cosmography, mathematical techniques and astronomical equipment. In the Surya ( Sun ) Siddhanta he made a note on the force of gravity

“Objects fall on earth due to a force of attraction by the earth. Therefore, the earth, planets, constellations, moon, and sun are held in orbit due to this attraction.”

Bhaskaracharya was given an apt title ‘Ganakchakrachudamani’, which means, ‘a gem among all the calculators of astronomical phenomena’.

Farmers: Lifeline of our nation

0

We have been facing Agrarian crisis or farmers distress from few decades. Suicide has become a most undesirable curse to our nation. It is a sad part that famers have been used as vote bank to get elected to power by giving some freebies rather than solving their issues at the core to make them self-reliant and better financially.

M.S. Swaminathan revolutionized crop yielding, he is the one who knows issues related to farmers to a much deeper level, I always follow his views on current government’s actions related to agrarian crisis. He is very supportive and helping government on various agriculture and farmers developmental activities.

PM Narendra Modi has taken several initiatives to make farmers financially strong. His commitment with actions towards making farmers income double by 2022 is quite commendable. Let’s see some of his actions on the ground: –

  1. Soil health card:- Our farmers are very hardworking, but they were not given proper knowledge about the soil they are using for different crops. Nature of soil define which type of crop must be sown in different seasons. PM Modi has taken up this initiative and decided to make farmers aware about their soil health. Considering that the health of the soil plays a fundamental role in agriculture, the government has dispatched more than 13 crore soil health cards from 2015 to 2018. Soil Health Cards carry crop-specific recommendations for nutrients and fertilizers to help farmers improve their productivity.
  2. Fertilizers:- There are hardly any complaints from the states about fertilizer distribution. The reason being the significant increase in the Urea production as the government has revived the defunct fertilizer plants and set up new plants. Since, the government has implemented 100% neem coating of Urea, it not only resulted in improving the soil quality but also prevented the diversion of fertilizers to other purposes. Big fund was allocated to raise fertilizer production.
  3. More crop per drop:- Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana is in place to ensure ‘more crop per drop’ which will cover 28.5 lakh hectare area under irrigation. Rs. 50,000 crores earmarked for ensuring that every farm gets water. Rs. 5,000 crore funds for micro-irrigation made available while there has been an encouragement for farmers to install solar pumps for irrigation.
  4. Credit and Support for farmers:- The Modi Government has taken important policy initiatives to address the issue of farm credit and save farmers from being exploited in the hands of informal credit sources such as moneylenders. Rs 6000 is given to each farmer per year in 3 installments. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana is the biggest risk cover and safety net provided by the government. Under interest subvention scheme short-term crop loans up to 3 lakhs with the minimum or no interest rate per annum up to one year made available.
  5. Marketing the farmers produce:- The government’s policy follows the next logical step after supporting the farmer at sowing time, which is to help farmers to get right price for their produce. In July 2018, government approved the historic MSP hike for Kharif crops to 1.5 times the cost, which will provide farmers a profit margin of 50% over the cost of production.
  6. E- NAM:- National Agriculture Market scheme known as e-NAM has integrated more than 600 markets across states and 2 Union territories. More than 164.53 lakh tons of farm commodities have been transacted on e-NAM and more than 87 lakh farmers have been registered. Thus, it is cutting down the intermediaries(middlemen) in agriculture trading to facilitate farmer with his due. 22,000 rural haats will turn into Gramin Agriculture Market which will benefit 86% small farmers. Large investment in warehousing and cold chains to prevent post-harvest crop losses and value addition through food processing also giving the farmers the essential edge on the market. To address the price volatility of perishable items like tomato, potato and onion ‘Operation Greens’ has been put in place.
  7. Focus on allied sectors:- As noted earlier, the focus has been laid on allied agriculture activities to boost farmers income. Corpus of Rs. 10,000 crores set up to create infrastructure in fisheries, aquaculture and animal husbandry. Integrated Development & Management of Fisheries with an outlay of Rs. 3000 crores, the establishment of 20 Gokul Grams are some of the examples in this regard.
  8. Growth in production:- There are ample indications to suggest that PM Narendra Modi’s agriculture policy implementation has been yielding results. Agriculture production has touched a new high in 2017–18 with 279.51 million tons of food grain production and increasing each year. The extent of the buffer stock of pulses increased from 1.5 lakh tons to 20 lakh tons. Milk production has increased by 18.81% in 2016–17 as compared to 2013–14.
  9. One Nation One Market:- With the amendment to the essential commodities act, farmer can sell their commodities anywhere with better pricing. Farmers are freed after 70 years of independence in real sense. THIS THE BIGGEST AND LIFE CHANGING ACTION FOR FARMERS BY MODI GOVERNMENT.

Numerous steps are required to bring the desired change and doubling farmers income. However, what role should we play today? It is our duty to teach and help our farmers about the actions taken by the government, help them to register on e-NAM platform and how to sell. We need to develop confidence in our lifeline (Farmers) to participate in the actions taken by government and bring clarity that government  will continue to take necessary steps to benefit the farmers…Can we help them and bring back to normal life and avoid suicides??

It is my right to address my nation legally as Bharat

Hypocrites often get offended by the truth. Truth tastes bad, is hard to digest and hence, mostly avoided. But does it mean that we bury our head in sand? For a nation a name is more than a mere monicker or a simple designation, it carries with itself all the hopes, aspirations, history, culture, joys, sorrows and the very ethos of a country. And what name did the party which donated us independence single-handedly give us? A name with which no post British-advent Bharatiya can relate to; a name which simply reminds us of our colonial past. Perhaps this done to forever chain the hopes and aspirations of an entire nation to the shackles of a colonial name.

As luck would have it a ‘kisaan’ (farmer) had filed a writ before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to rename India as Bharat so that we may finally break free of shackles of a colonial name. The leftists who are challenging the said move, to the extent of even calling it foolish are even going on to blatantly lie by saying that the said petition was dismissed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court whereas the Court has disposed of the said Writ by it’s order dated 03/06/2020 by observing: “The present petition is directed to be treated as a representation and may be considered by the appropriate Ministries. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.”

Thus, the Court has asked the legislature to look into the said matter as the Courts do not have power to bring about Constitutional Amendments by way of additions to it. Court at most can delete certain provisions if they are opposed to the “Basic Structure of the Constitution” [Kesavananda Bharati v. State of Kerala, (1973) 4 SCC 225 : AIR 1973 SC 1461]. Now let’s hope that the Modi government respects the sentiments of us Bharatiya and adopts the name Bharat for all legal intents and purposes.

As regards those who wish to retain the name legal name India – perhaps they take pride in reminding themselves of their colonial time, the nostalgia must be too much for them to overcome; or maybe they don’t want us Bharatiya to feel pride in us. As if the Aryan Invasion Theory or Partition was not enough they even don’t want us to realise with our true and ancient name.

Legally speaking, the Article 1 of the Constitution of India says: “(1) India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States.” Even the exalted Freedom giving party could not totally override the name Bharat. They too had to mention it. However, quite intelligently they kept the colonial name India while acknowledging that the true name of this great nation is and in fact was Bharat.

Before someone may try to sidetrack the debate with arguments of language, as to whether this is an attempt to impose Hindi on all, let this Bharatiya clarify for you: the question is here not whether I chose to spell it as Bharat or भारत i.e. in English or हिन्दी or for that matter in any language. Question is that I DESERVE the right to call it Bharat!

You see, historically speaking our ancestors never realised themselves from the name of India or Indians. If the history of it is traced, “India” name is loosely based on the fact that it was a kingdom around the Indus (सिंधु) River. The name Sindhu got latinized to Indus River, and land around it as Indica (alt. Indika).

The first mentioning of it is found in the work of Greek historians (such as Megasthenes) who were accompanying Alexander during his conquests. It must be borne in mind that Alexander could never enter Bharat’s mainland as he only won over a small mountainous kingdom of Raja Puru and Gandhar (present day Afghanistan & parts of Pakistan). Thus, like how to a kid a white ball is all what is Moon, the same way for the Greeks all what was land around Indus river was India. Later on this name of India was adopted by Arabics and subsequently by English too. In fact as per no Mughal period account too was the name India ever used to describe this glorious land.

Furthermore, to buttress the argument of Bharat over India; tell me, we used to call English as अंग्रेज़ but that doesn’t mean they named their country Angrez? They gave to themselves a name selected by their ancestors. Same thing with Greece too. We called it यूनान, but that doesn’t mean they named their country Yunan. When other self-respecting nations are not knowing themselves by the name given to them by foreigners, then why should proud Gaurav Chaubey and all proud Bharatiyajan give ourselves a name by which foreigners recognised us?

Wouldn’t it sound absurd and disrespectful to you if you’re not addressed by the name given to you by your parents (ancestors) but by those who were your neighbors and who at one point occupied your home? That is the debate. Let us all stand united and further the movement to reclaim our great name, associated with which is the rich culture, history and ethos of our ancestors. Now that the matter rests with the Legislature (Ministries), let us lobby and campaign to fix the error (malice?) of our exalted Freedom Givers in not naming us Bharat.

Is it really Rahul Gandhi who’s ruining Congress?

Part One of two-part Blog.

It’s often said that BJP’s single biggest campaign success in 2014 and 2019 was creating a ‘Pappu’ out of Rahul Gandhi. This effectively rendered Congress campaign ineffective and converted both elections into a one-horse race. Hilarious memes are created every other day to mock Congress and Rahul, further denting his image. At times BJP spokespersons themselves have called him BJP’s  ‘Star Campaigner’. Also, it is no secret that he is no match to the towering personality of Narendra Modi. But to say that it’s because of Rahul Gandhi, BJP is winning elections is nonsense.

True, that Congress hit its rock bottom with Rahul at the helm. But Congress’ worst performance has hardly to do anything with Rahul as such. Actually, when Congress performed at it’s worst, Rahul was there. The more accurate analysis would be, that he was not able to pull the party up singlehandedly like Narendra Modi or his Grandmother, Indira Gandhi. But that’s downright unfair. When it comes to winning elections there’s no one quite like these two. For the disastrous performance in 2014, if anyone has to be blamed it’s Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh.

These two ran one of the worst administrations between 2009 to 2014. UPA II, as it was known, was a complete disaster on both, Economic and Cultural fronts. For these 5 years, the average inflation was a disastrous 10.4 %. In simple terms, it means, something which was costing Rs 100 in 2009 was at more than Rs 165 in 2014. Whereas the average GDP growth during this period was 6.70%. So, the revered Economist Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh actually reduced the incomes of the crores of people by more than 15% in just five years. No wonder the poor voted Congress out in 2014.

On the cultural side, Sonia did everything to infuriate Hindus. Amongst, culturally awake Hindus, Congress was not popular anyway. The Urban Middle-Class vote which it lost after Ram Janma Bhoomi, never came back. Notwithstanding this unpopularity, Digvijay Singh launched a book by Aziz Burney named ’26/11 RSS ki Saajish’ in 2010. Then again, same year P Chidambaram, the home minister urged people to be aware of Saffron Terror. The same term was used by Sushil Kumar Shinde again in 2013 when he was the home minister. Congress literally went overboard chasing the Muslim vote.

Add ‘Sonia cried looking after Batla House Encounter’ story to this and you realize, Congress not only went overboard chasing Muslim votes, but it was insulting Hindus. How can Congress President shed tears for Islamic Terrorists, who are regarded as enemies of the nation by the majority community? Congress had taken the Hindu and Nationalists (Difference between two) votes for granted. In 2011 Sonia tried to bring Communal Violence Bill, which was completely loaded against Hindus. This one step was nastier and damaging than all these chronicled above. The bill generated such outrage that Congress shelved it without bringing it to parliament. But this revealed its true colors and feelings towards Hindus. It also provided a big opening to BJP to brand Congress as an anti-Hindu party.

One can ask, what’s so new about this? Congress did it earlier (Shahbano, Kashmiri Pandit exodus for example) and still managed to rule for many decades after. To me, along with these failures of Sonia and Manmohan Singh, there was another factor in 2014. And that was Narendra Modi. BJP, riding on his image as an able administrator and clear & clever messaging simply demolished Congress. And brought it down to 44 seats in Loksabha. There was another factor, a subfactor actually. The corruption charges against Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram and Shiela Dixit. I don’t think Indian voters mind corruption but, when combined with high inflation it was a potent mix. At the cost of repetition, along with all these, the message which Modi-Shah’s BJP delivered, snuffed life out of Congress campaign.

So, in a way, outside that narrow Lutyens’ lane and Liberal Lounges, 2014 was done and dusted even before the ECI plugged the first EVM. Now the question is why Rahul Gandhi failed again in 2019? Frankly, he had no chance. For BJP, if 2014 was about exposing Congress and effective messaging, 2019 was the consolidation of old vote-bank and adding new voters through some solid economic benefits to the poor. Plus Congress didn’t seem to be rethinking on Muslim appeasement and hence gave no reason to Hindus to desert BJP.  If Congress lost badly, it’s not because of Rahul, but because it’s caught in a bind on how to handle Culturally Awake Hindus without disturbing Muslim vote-bank. And as we enter the seventh year of the Modi-Shah era, they don’t have any answers to this challenge. Expecting Rahul to come up with one, is an injustice to him.

By now if you are thinking I like Rahul Gandhi, can’t blame you. For the record, he is downright unfit to lead the party. But so was Rajiv Gandhi. Yet he was not mocked the way Rahul is. That’s because he came in when Indira Gandhi was assassinated and the country was going through a trauma. But eventually, he too was exposed when he wasted the massive 414 seat mandate and was destabilized by a wily UP politician named Vishwanath Pratap Singh. So, you never know what would have been the result had Rajiv faced BJP of 2014. My point is, Rahul is not too different from his father. He is facing different conditions and Congress ideology has run its course.

Now the question remains why BJP spokespersons and even journalists who oppose BJP seem to agree on this one thing? That Rahul is a Pappu.  And yet the same Congress, which was so trusting these journalists only a decade back is not ready to replace Rahul?

As declared at the top that this is the first of the two-part blog. Will try and answer these vexed questions in second part.

New normal

Something very interesting happened in my family WhatsApp group today. Somethings were getting discussed suddenly few people felt offended and left group and so on. Rest you can imagine. Damage control mode, political discussion prohibition advice and so on.

Point what is political discussion and why should this not be discussed freely. Anything pertaining to country’s history, heritage, culture, economics, defense, leadership or anything on that line is what needs to be discussed among the citizens of a country whether they are part of the family, friends, work colleagues or any such relation. This can help build healthy public opinion. Here comes a catch suddenly things are presented in such a manner as if discussing them is divisive and should have another forum for it. More to it the problem is any opinion apart from the well established one is being given a political color.

Now we will have to understand that for long we lived in a state of denial. We as a society have tried to maintain false agenda just in order to maintain the sensitivity of communities which at one glance looks to be a great approach. But does it not suggest that in order to maintain the ethical and progressive values we should also work on getting the corrected and justified stands taken. In subsequent notes I will try to take point to point example in order to explain this.

Starting with history we tried writing it in such a way that communal harmony is maintained. But does it not speak of lack of leadership appeal on part of policy makers. Anything written in black and white should be part of history as this is what defines us. Years of glorious past with marvelous architecture, great economic sense and strong leaders have define our past and they should not be ignored for some looters who came to India in search of home having been driven away from their mother land. If this is not told loud and clear we would be living in myths.

For years the policy of economics in India has been consistent with policy of localisation. This is something which helped keep each area self sufficient. The extent of this success was such that in case of famines or other natural calamities when the local economy was wiped out, it always bounced back on account of their local prowess. Sustainability of the same was so great that the riches existed for ages. Even the looters came to India attracted by these riches, stayed here and ruled for around more that 500 years including Muslims, Mughals and Brits.

Same goes with the knowledge, culture and tradition that have survived till today. Now I come back to my previous point. With the history writing, economic policies, diplomacy and international relations and many more we have some established norms of which many are not supported by fact. Now in case someone today comes up with alternative view we have made ourselves ready to ridicule him without even trying to understand the facts. The divide is starting to be so big that neither we are trying to learn the facts nor we are trying to build logic in the discussion. Hence all the points come down the avoiding it by categorizing everything as political discussion. Political sides are painted and that point is killed there forever.

To speak truly everything related to country is political and avoiding this discussion we are all leaving a space for manipulation. Dividing a country does not require to change a complete history which is based on fact. It is just that a misinformation spread without any facts will be enough to create confusion. confusion will create divide and divide will help incompetent people rule.
