President Biden’s missteps and ANKUS deal

0

The USA as a superpower was admired through its earlier history due to its bipartisan approach to foreign policies. President Trump lost the election by a wide margin and the transfer of power took place under very noisy circumstances. President Joseph Biden emerged as a victor during senate ratification of electoral college votes by Trump’s own Vice President Mike Pence.

As Trump changed some of the Obama-era policies, Biden appears to be restoring some of the old policies regarding China, Russia, and other countries. Some are cosmetic and some are real that may have a profound effect in the world transiting into the multipolar world, sooner than earlier anticipated. There are feelings of uneasiness and geopolitical fallouts from some of the sudden shifts in the United States’ Policies towards its important allies through miscalculations and missteps.

AUKUS and France:
The dusting of the WW2 era “AUKUS” treaty is viewed by major allies as an “Anglo-Saxon” substitute to bypass other “Non-Anglo-Saxon” allies of the Indo-Pacific quad alliance. Japan, India, and South Korea were earlier denied the requests to purchase nuclear-powered submarines by the USA, which now is offered to Australia who is a non-nuclear country. Other allies have difficulty reconciling this anomaly.

France was particularly annoyed and felt betrayed due to the cancellation of the submarine deal with Australia over $ 19 billion. Australia also canceled the contract for EU helicopters with Airbus where France is a participant. Australia can be forgiven as a victim of circumstances as China intensifies its bullying against Australia but not the United Kingdom as a driver of this idea and Americans accept this as a normal foreign policy -military transaction, disregarding any prior consultation with France.

France as a nation has a great sense of her history and it may go back to the days when France and the United kingdom were rivals in the imperial age. France remembers the rout of Napoleon by Admiral Nelson. British remembers how France aided American revolutionaries to achieve their independence from the colonial British Empire. During the second world war, Charles De Gaulle representing liberated France from Hitler’s clutches was largely excluded from the postwar planning of new states by Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin. De Gaulle’s repeated pleas through the U.S. State Department were ignored. It was humiliating for Charles De Gaulle and France and the bad feelings and lack of trust made France leave NATO albeit temporarily. This distrust continued during the Nixon era when France under De Gaulle demanded Gold as a payment to cash in France’s excess dollar reserve. The gold transfer from Fort Knox was huge and the Gold reserve drain forced President Nixon to decouple Gold from the US Dollar. Now, the UK and USA allowed Australia to cancel the deal for submarines and Helicopters reviving old bitterness among fellow NATO ally France. President Macron of France is not a very happy man. Macron felt backstabbed by his key allies.

India, Japan, and Korea already noted this divergence from Quad where equality was assumed by all members. India already has accumulated years of experience leasing nuclear-powered Russian Submarines, but the AUKUS deal sent a reminder that maintaining strategic autonomy and diversification provides the best guarantee of national security interest.

French President Macron responds in kind:
The Middle East is regarded as an established turf for Anglo-American Arms manufacturers. Upon assumption of the office and pressured by the ultra-left wing of the Democratic party, President Biden was forced to open up an issue that is considered closed with Saudi Arabia. The opening of Jamal Khashoggi’s issue with Saudi Prince, a de facto ruler. Not only that President Biden canceled and revised downward President Trump’s 100 billion arms deal spread over several years and withdrew support to Saudi over the Yemen war. President Biden said, “This war has to end as it is a humanitarian and strategic catastrophe.” Sensing this reversal and letdowns from the Trump era to the Biden era came as a shock to the Saudi monarch. French President Emmanuel Macron grabbed the opportunity and hit back at “Anglo-Saxon” interest in West Asia where it can hurt most — in Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Early in December, the United Arab Emirates, which is a member of Quad # 2, (an informal block that includes India, Israel, and the USA.) was visited by French President Macron. The United States earlier had objected to Abu Dhabi pursuing a 5G deal with China and offered an F-35 deal worth $ 23 billion to UAE.

Quad # 2 allies are believers in “strategic autonomy” and are more interested in keeping the Middle East, a Nuclear-free zone. In the muti-polar world, the geopolitical interest of the countries is more likely to be dictated by their GPS coordinates and not dictated by any powers. There are substantial pieces of evidence that the world is moving into “Multi-Polarity” from “single or dual” polarity. President Macron wrapped up an arms deal with UAE of significant proportions that involved 80 French Rafale fighters and 12 Helicopters amounting to nearly $19 billion. This will keep Dassault Aviation going until the year 2032.

This does not include potential Saudi interest. We can be sure the Saudi Royals were consulted by UAE before inviting President Macron. Earlier in absence of a French alternative, UAE was willing to buy the F-35 subject to the American condition that their usage will be under American control. This F-35 package to UAE was not comparable to the advanced F-35 version Israel is receiving. After the agreement, France issued a statement “This contract cements a strategic partnership that is stronger than ever and directly contributes to regional stability.”

Restoration of glory of Sanathan Dharma and true narration of history of Bharat by PM Modi

0

“For Every Aurangazeb, there has been a Shivaji”– One of the most powerful & meaningful statements reflecting the history of world’s most ancient civilization & culture. Hinduism is beyond doubt proven to be the world’s oldest religion. India is abode to the “Sanathan Dharma” & Hinduism is considered to be the way of life. Greatness of Hinduism is inclusiveness & well being of all reflected by saying “Sarve Jana sukhino bhavantu”. Since centuries there has been attack on Sanathan Dharma in several ways which is continuing even today. Against all odds Hinduism stood due to the sacrifices, courage & unity of true sons of soil.

Indus Valley Civilization is world’s oldest civilization which started at the banks of river “Sindhu”. Words Hinduism & India are derived from river “Sindhu”. The places of origin of Indus Valley Civilization -Sindh, Harappa & Mohenjo-Daro are now part of Pakistan. Undivided India -Akhand Bharat or Hindustan included present day India,Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Srilanka, Myanmar and Tibet. Roots of Hinduism are seen in Thailand, Combodia  and Indonesia also. Invasion of Bharath happened over centuries starting from 6th century till today. Arabs, Turks, Persians, Mongolians, Mughals invaded Akhand Bharat with target of plundering wealth, expanding Islam and destroying rich hindu culture. Thousands of villages, hundreds of cities and thousands of temples destroyed and wealth looted. Lakhs of Hindus were massacred brutally & lakhs converted to Islam. Lakhs of women were ill-treated, molested, raped & taken as hostages. This was followed by colonial invasion of Portuguese, Dutch, French & British. They also plundered wealth of country & propagated Christianity. Islamic countries Pakistan, Bangladesh & Afghanistan were carved out of India on religious basis in 19th century.

During this time of colonial rule education system was designed to show Hinduism in inferior way. Post-independence in Nehru regime anti- Hindu mechanism was adapted which grew very strong and deep rooted in to educational system, media & government policies. The true history of India was re written, re told white washing the brutal invasions & portraying Hinduism in inferior way. Nehruvian policy was adapted by subsequent congress governments mainly when the heirs of Nehru were at helm of ruling. Nehru openly acknowledge to not repair & restore ancient temples or heritage sites of Hindus. Temples were brought under purview of government exempting minority religious institutions. Sardar Vallabhai Patel insisted on reconstruction of Somnath temple in Gujarath which was vehemently opposed by Nehru.Nehru went ahead and said “By education I am an English man, by views Internationalist, by culture a muslim and a Hindu only by accident of birth”. Next governments redefined secularism as appeasement of Muslims & spreading hatred on Hinduism. Rajeev Gandhi misused majority in parliament to do injustice to muslim women against court judgment in case of “Shabhano case”. Lakhs of Kashmiri hindus were brutally killed by Muslims, fled Kashmir & became refugees in own country.

Sonia Gandhi led UPA govt tried to bring Communal Violence Bill which empowers center to arrest Hindus at their will. Important congress leaders coined terms like “Hindu terror” and even tried desperately to shift blame of Mumbai terror attacks of 29/11 on to Hindu organizations. Allegedly Congress president Sonia Gandhi cried over deaths of terrorists in Batla house encounter & Ishrath Jahaan encounter. Most of the political parties continued same manner at state level also. Most of policy actions were also taken considering minorities & neglecting Hindus. Next important section who spread a vile anti-Hindu propaganda includes media, journalists & intellectuals. In any issue they were ready to showcase Hindus in bad light & portray minorities as victims. They influenced globally & were successful in this anti-Hindu agenda whitewashing crimes of minorities. All such actions by ruling governments made majority Hindus feel inferior in their own country and being dominated by minorities.

The invasion on Hinduism happened since centuries by outsiders & now also continuing by the pseudo seculars, liberals & politicians in the nation. For every invader, there rose a leader like Pruthviraj chauhan, Shivaji, Hegdewar, Savarkar who stood for Hindus. Dr. Hegdewar who was unable to accept the ill treatment  and discrimination of Hindus  established Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1925. RSS and allied organizations like Vishwa Hindu Parishath (VHP) and their members stood at fore front in respecting feelings of Hindus and fought for “Sarva Dharama Sama Bhavana” – “Treat all religions equally” true essence of secularism. Bharathiya Janatha Party and leaders believed these principles.

“Varanasi is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together” – Mark Twain.

In 2014 Narendra Modi decided to contest elections from Varanasi saying “Ma Ganga is calling”. Believed to be established by Lord Shiva himself Kashi means “City of light” or “Shining City”. It has been the holy spiritual religious pilgrimage center for Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism & Buddhism. Varanasi was also a main hub of trade, education and arts. Varanasi was basically a holy religious rich city full of life since ancient period. Kashi Vishwanth Temple is the holiest shrine of lord Shiva -One of the 12 Jyothirlingas. The temple was destroyed by Muslim invaders & rulers plundering the wealth & heritage. Aurangazeb destroyed temple and constructed Gyanvapi mosque. Supposedly the main priest of temple jumped with Jyothirlinga in to well to protect from destruction by invaders. The current shrine was built by Maratha ruler Ahalya Bai Holkar in adjacent site.

In 2019 Kashi Vishwanth corridor Project was initiated with goals of expanding available temple area to prevent overcrowding, accommodating more people and providing easier direct access between ghats of River Ganga & Temple. In 32 months, the corridor was transformed from narrow, squeezed 5000 square foot area to wide, magnificent and artistic 5 lakh square foot area reverberating with spirituality that can accommodate 50000 -70000 pilgrims with a budget of around 800 crores. 1400 residents,320 families and businesses were relocated and compensated satisfactorily. 43 ancient ruined temples were found and renovated like Gangeshwar Mahadev temple, The Mano Kameshwar Mahadev temple, the Jauvinayak temple and Shri Khumbha Mahadev Temple.24 new buildings were built.

Mahatma Gandhi in 1928 expressed severe grief over the condition of Timeless Holy city Kashi which was narrow and filthy with overflowing gutters. After centuries and nearly 7 decades of independence it was only Narendra Modi who acted and restored the glory of “City of Lights” realizing dream of Mahatma Gandhiji. Narendra Modi after becoming Prime Minister took several initiatives to restore the values of Sanathan Dharma and show case to world with pride.  Modi himself suggested June 21st to be celebrated as International Yoga Day in UN address in 2014 and was successful in doing so. He confidently said “Lord Shiva is the originator of Yoga -Adi Yogi and Yoga is the gift of Bharath to the world”. Modi unveiled the samadhi of Shri Adi Shankaracharya in Kedarnath. A nationwide program was conducted across India in over 100 sacred sites associated with journey of Shri Adi Shankaracharya involving entire BJP cadre from grass root level workers to union ministers.

Similarly, Nationwide programs were conducted commemorating birth anniversary of Swamy Vivekananda. Modi government took up the most difficult Chardham Pariyojana aimed at improving connectivity to the 4 holiest pilgrimage centers- Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri with 12000 crores budget in the harsh climatic terrain involving army also. It is an ambitious project neglected for several decades. Modi himself did Bhoomi poojan of Lord Shri Ram temple, Ayodhya. Modi government, along with Yogi Adityanth government in UP has developed infrastructure of Ayodhya including roads, airports and theme parks. Khartarpur corridor is a religious visa- free border crossing corridor connecting India border to Gurudwara Darbar Sahib, holy pilgrimage site for Sikhs in Pakistan. Foundation stone was laid by Narendra Modi on November 26, 2018 and completed by 12th November,2019 marking 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.

When PM himself invokes Adishankaracharya and Swamy Vivekananda youth of nation learnt about the contributions done by those great people in rejuvenating Santhan Dharama and projecting proudly with confidence globally. When PM himself takes a holy dip in river Ganga, performs Aarthi and pooja crores of hindus performing ceremonies identify themselves with PM and feel proud of culture. When PM himself supervises renovation of holy pilgrimages, construction of infrastructure and meditates in Kedarnath , every heart of hindu rejoices with joy as they are are able to witness the glory of Sanathan Dharma being restored finally. The people who are lamenting will be the pseudo seculars and opportunistic politicians who have been doing Anti-hindu agenda till now. They criticize illogically on any activity done by Modi and people realized the ad nauseum.

PM said, ”New India is proud of its culture and has confidence in its ability -There is “Virasat” (culture) and Vikas (Development). New India can beautify sea shrine of Somnath temple and can do under water fiber net cabling in sea. New India is renovating Kedarnath temple and also sending astronauts into space on own. New India is building Rammandir in Ayodhya and also medical college in every district. New India is building Vishwanth Shrine and also pucca houses for crores of poor.” Each and every word is true.

Rath yathra by Advaniji for Ram Temple in Ayodhya awakened & unified hindus all over nation. Narendra Modi restoring the heritage of Sanathan Dharma is leading to “Cultural Renaissance” of Hindus globally. He is the only Prime Minister of India who is proud of being a follower of Hinduism and feels proud to show the world ways of Hinduism. Undoubtedly Narendra Modi is first ever Unapologetic hindu head of India who wears hindutva on his sleeve. Undoubtedly Narendra Modi is the first ever unapologetic hindu head of India who wears hindutva on his sleeve.

Phubbing – A pandemic that is hurting the parent-children relationship

0

How long can a kid go to teach the parents a lesson? A 7-year-old kid, Emil Rustige, along with 150 other kids, staged a demonstration in Hamburg, Germany, against the parent’s excessive mobile phone usage. Yes! You are reading it right. This news has been shared all over the internet. It brought the issue into the limelight that has long been in the hindsight of young parents.

Wake up call

Of all the things that have been hurting the parent-children relationship, Smartphone addiction is the most predominant one. Although smartphone addiction has been the most talked-about issue in recent times, we all ignore it as if it has nothing to do with our lives.

We see kids and teens being yelled at for staying glued to screens all the time. However, the same parents who are strict on their kids for their increased mobile usage forget to see that they are also caught in the same net.

Pandemic made it worse:

Our dependence on mobile phones and other digital devices has reached an all-time high as we are forced to stay at home due to the pandemic. Working from home to attending classes online, we relied on mobile phones, computers or tablets. Not just while we are at work, mobile phones have invaded the time we spend with our kids. In the fight with one pandemic, we have started another pandemic that will haunt us for generations to come.

A recent survey by Vivo’s annual switch-off report has revealed that around 66% of parents admit to being on the phone all the time. Unfortunately, smartphone addiction is a pandemic that has not yet been made aware of.

Ill effects of parent’s smartphone addiction on kids behaviour:

Children are invariably vulnerable to their parent’s poor behaviour. Likewise, phubbing directly impacts children. A scientific study shows that parents being unattentive towards their kids, leads to child’s negative behaviours. Here are some of the behavioural issues with children, which are influenced by phubbing:

  • Hyperactivity
  • Hot Temper
  • Incessant whining
  • Oversensitivity
  • Tantrums
  • Attention seeking

Besides all these issues, kids are equally prone to smartphone addiction as they grow up watching parents delve themselves into it. Kids start to indulge themselves in digital devices just as parents do.

Phubbing impacts any human relationship immensely. And if it is something that concerns your relationship with your kids, then it has to be uprooted immediately.

Strategies to reduce screen time:

Try the following methods to reduce your mobile phone usage:

  • Create a no mobile phone schedule: Avoid bringing mobile phones to your dinner table. Make a rule at home not to use mobile phones while eating. Also, ban using mobile phones after a time at night. Likewise, make a schedule to limit your screen time and stick to it.
  • Keep track of your usage: Download an app to track your daily mobile phone usage. Check how many hours you spend on your mobile phone on a typical day.
  • Have real conversations: Instead of relying on apps such as Whatsapp, Messenger, etc., go out and meet your friends in person to have actual conversations. It will help you improve your mood as well.
  • Make room for your kids: Avoid using mobile phones while your kids are around. Kids expect us to spend more time with them. Start being interactive with your kids. Nowadays, parents play along with kids on tablets and mobile phones. Avoid such games and try to perform physical activities.
  • Get Help: Smartphone addiction is real. And it is spoiling the lives of many. If you feel you can’t help yourself to abstain from excessive mobile phone usage, seek professional help. Nowadays, several mental health professionals are offering counselling services for mobile phone addiction. You can easily reach out to a professional through websites such as yelp, ThreeBestRated®, and RateMds.

Sadly, we have evolved into a generation that enjoys the company of a device over humans. Are we turning materialistic? We possibly cannot answer that question. But if it is the case and if there is a chance, we can act and save our future generation.

Eulogy for CDS Bipin Rawat ji

0

I am honestly afraid while writing this, because I feel that words will not be able to do justice to major general CDS Bipin Rawat Ji. What words would you use to describe a man who could keep on fighting after seeing his best friends fall in battle? I ask you, what words could be used to describe such a legend that he was made an honorary general in the army of another country?! No words are there fellow patriots, such words are yet to be invented! This is so typical of words, they always betray you when you need them the most!

My body shivers even thinking about how such a military general, who was single-handedly responsible for finishing northeast insurgencies and curbing terrorism in Kashmir valley, could be snatched away from us in the bat of an eyelash. These accomplishments of Rawat Ji are further substantiated by him getting the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishist Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva medal etc. It is almost as if he never lived for himself and dedicated his whole life to ‘seva’.

The list does not end here, fellow nationalists, in fact we are just getting started. He played a pivotal role in the modernization of the army and he had a great experience of high-altitude warfare. Imagine you have to take revenge of the martyrdom of your soldiers and you have to do a cross-border attack on terrorists of Myanmar… will you be able to do it?? All while bringing back all your men without a scratch?? Bipin Rawat ji did just that. He also oversaw the revenge of the dastardly Uri attack when we, for the first time, crossed the border since 1971 and cleaned up Pakistan’s mess.  He also oversaw the Balakot Airstrike.. What more could a man do?

For many years, there had been no major defence acquisition by the army but the moment he came, we started getting Mirage jets, S-400 Missile Defence System and started manufacturing AK-203s in India. Think about it… We joke about using AK-47s in games but because of him AK-203s will be made in India.

The entire post of CDS was created to achieve greater synergy between tri-services and the man chosen for this job was Rawat Ji. Rather, can you think that how much knowledge and experience he would have had, to virtually have been give the entire responsibility of tri-services in the hands of just one man?

I am also immensely sorry Rawat ji, because we are a very selfish lot. All of us were saying that it is a great loss for the nation, which it undoubtedly is, but it is also a great loss to your family. Moreover, the fact that your daughters lost both of their parents at once, it must have saddened them to no end. I am not worried , however, because since they are your daughters, I am sure they will have a lot of courage. The nation also thanks them because had it not been for their approval, we would not have had the honour of being protected by you. The only way you could protect us was if they gave you the approval to live your life for the nation, which they did. The nation stands firmly with them in this very heavy and painful moment of sorrow.

Bipin Rawat ji, No one would have woken up on 8th December or could have imagined even in their worst nightmares, that such a gallant son of mother India would be taken away from her so violently. Indeed, the version that I like to believe is that you refused to die by illness. You spit in the face of illness and disease and said, “I will not go by your hands! I will meet my marker at my own terms! I will die in the line of duty!!”.

I would be amiss here, if I did not talk of your esteemed wife. I am sure that she must have a lot of courage to send you to battle and I am sure that she also loved you a lot, which is why perhaps God took both of you rather than just taking one of you, because you both were that much in love.

I hope however, that the nationalistic fervour that has been ignited by your untimely martyrdom does not fade out. Your admirers only hold one identity today i.e. Indian and indeed I hope that we are filled with this fervour year round. I promise you, that in order to honour you, all of us who are crying right now will start paying our taxes. We will stop accepting bribes if we did earlier and we will not go work outside the country. We will shun anti-India forces and think of nation first and nation last. We will stop the sinful urges to commit crimes and we will create the utopian Bharat that you fought for. I promise to do this and if we all do this, I am sure you would have joyously embraced martyrdom and would have gone for a long walk with it. I promise to do this and I hope the readers will too.

I know it’s impossible, but I sure do hope that you could somehow read this eulogy, only to reassure yourself that the people who you protected are eternally grateful  and indebted to you.

Please Rest in Peace, but even more, Return if possible! Om Shanti.

The last days of a moribund ideology

“Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people”

Karl Marx in “A Contribution to the Critique of Hegels Philosophy of Right”

Ever since Marx and Engels published ‘Das Kapital’ in 1867, Communist Marxist ideologies became one of the strong entities controlling world politics. Many political thinkers and politicians, in their quest to redirect the political systems from an already established way, tried to espouse the essence of the way of thought put forward by Marx and Engels, but whether they could achieve positive results in their quest in terms of national and people’s interest is always a matter for debate. As a matter of fact, Communist Marxist ideologies have been a core component that contributed to dramatic changes in the world political system in the 19th and 20 centuries but the ideology itself proved to be outdated and outwitted by the continuous success of liberal democracies around the world. It is true that no political systems are apt, feasible, and absolutely satisfiable in the people-centric viewpoint and what we expect is the least bad among the list of worst systems.

Throughout Indian history, the leftists in India have always been flawed in understanding and maintaining their own identity. Communist and Marxist ideologies were never meant to create an identifiable change in a vivid and vibrant society like India which was (and is) purely based on the religious, lingual, cultural, and caste-based divisions and interactions in the society. The self-styled Communist leaders in India were always balancing their identity in the ideological battles waged around the world, trying to satisfy themselves with their own interpretation of these unrealistic ideologies, deliberately and wittingly undermining the needs and wishes of the lower poor sections of the society whom they ought to have taken to the mainstream. The leaders confidently believed in the shibboleth of their ideology, the Godly intent that it wished to achieve by creating a non-oppressive, equalistic, satisfiable, and powerful society (not a leader) and thereby wilfully refused to see, understand and realize the ultimate weakness of the same ideology which created the world’s infamous, inhuman and bloodthirsty dictators. There are arguments that the ideology is sacred and the way and means with which it was implemented in the political systems created the megalomaniacs who ruthlessly ruled in the name of the ideology. On the contrary, it can be seen that the ideology itself was flawed and it paved a way for these megalomaniacs to reach the top of the political systems and use their unquestionable power politically, socially, culturally, and economically to destroy the society itself.

Ideology and Politics

Most of the time, politics is deeply rooted in ideologies. It is a fact that the proponents of major social and political thoughts could never establish their own power or rule in nation-states and try to implement their ideology as it is. History has exceptions like Mussolini or Hitler (though Nazism as an ideology developed by Anton Drexler) who tried to implement their own ideology in a society and we could learn from their experiments. The ideology groomed and developed by Marx and Engels was aimed at the development of the sidelined sections of the society but what is presented to the world was wars, destitution, genocide, political and moral corruption. The ideology itself was imperfect and the inherent impractical base of the ideology backfired, destroying the political, social, and economic structure of many societies and its repercussions are still going on around the world. No ideology can deny that humans have their own identities, characteristics, and emotions and these powerful mediums ultimately lead individuals in a society who collectively constitute a nation-state.

Communism, Marxism and Power Politics

The most underestimated inherent weakness of Communism and Marxism was its utter inability to prevent the concentration of power in certain individuals. History is the absolute truth and shows us so many examples where the socialist ideologies have pitifully failed to realize the aspirations of the society and the individual citizens who constitute the society, in the long term. The short-lived shining star, Soviet Union, nations in Eastern Europe and Africa, the monstrous regimes in South Asia, the leftists of South America, and numerous small nations have failed to act as equal and powerful opponents of nations driven by the capitalist ideology and this itself proves the inherent and consistent flows of the ideology itself, rather than the flaws in the ways and means it was implemented. Communism and Marxism were never a threat to the capitalists but it was a stepping stone for them to prove the worthiness and brilliance of the liberal capitalist ideologies.

The Curious Case of China

China identifies itself as a Socialist state with Chinese Characteristics. It is needless to say that China relies on the words “Communism” or “Socialism” to legitimize the authority of its autocratic leaders over the people. It is true that a non-democratic, one-party, autarchic dictatorship can effortlessly bring rapid economic growth to the country, and with sufficient propaganda, the regime can create a social stigma that the society needs the rule of the strong leadership to keep the jealous jackals like the United States and the west from destroying the nation. Under Hitler, Germany could revive the German economy in a matter of a few years and became one of the fastest developing nations in the world. The leadership in China is trying to follow the same path and do the same successfully. The institution of the Chinese Communist Party itself is the biggest bourgeoisie corporate in the world, oppressing and exploiting an entire society in the name of socialistic ideologies. The wooden-headed leadership of the self-styled Indian communists wholeheartedly idolized the Communist Party of China, appreciating the uncompromising tyrannical tendencies and decisions taken by the regime, nationally and internationally. These parties and their leaders have always been the infamous hypocrites the Indian political system has ever groomed in the last 100 years.

Indian Perspective – Conclusion

India has never been a fertile ground for the political experiments for Communists and Indian political, social, and economic conditions could have never been utilized by these self-styled socialist groups or parties to their benefit. It is quite difficult to groom a constructive concentrated viewpoint in a multilingual, multiethnic, multi-religious, and traditional society like India, and the war that Communists waged for India ultimately resulted in defeat except for a few victories in some small battles. But ultimately, there is no doubt that socialist ideologies will be buried in the political soil of India, and liberal democrats, centrist democrats, and right-wing democrats will prevail in this nation. The people who still believe in the waning socialist ideology are living in a fetish world and they are the ones who take this country back to the dark ages. Human beings cannot be controlled in their quest to ultimate freedom and the failure of Marxian Socialism is that it viewed human beings as just manageable objects in the revolutions for the success of the ideology. Marxian Socialists failed to understand that when a man is dead, his ideology is dead too.

The age of Graduation and the age of marriage: 21 years is the new face

0

Twenty-one. The first two-digit non-prime ending in 1. That’s what Sanhita thought. The young girl who was constantly reminded of the grim marriage prospects awaiting her, given her appearance and the state her father’s finances. She tried to escape the abrasive words by playing with numbers in her head. Those lovely numbers which, in the end, helped her to define life on her own terms escaping an early and, in all probability, an unsuitable marriage.

Twenty-one. Years later she realised that it’s also the magic age when one (usually) graduates with a bachelor’s degree (BA/BCom/BSc). And now, as the new millennium itself races to complete its twenty-first year, twenty-one is about to become the legal marriageable age for women in India. There is no way not to see the connection and the implications.

Enforcing a minimum age of marriage has been humankind’s effort, since antiquity, to prevent exploitation and abuse of minors. In ancient Rome, the age of marriage was 12 years for girls and 14 years for boys. This was adopted, in toto, by the Roman Catholic Church making it a Canon law and later even by the English Civil law. With time the minimum marriageable age has steadily risen all around the globe, 18 years now being the bar for most countries.

[The first ‘Child Marriage Restraint Act’ (better known as Sarda Act) was enacted in India in 1930, defining marriageable ages for women and men to be 14 and 18 years respectively. For women it was raised to 15 years in 1949 and only in 1978 the current system of 18 and 21 years as legal marriageable ages came into effect. The ‘Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006’ is simply an improvement upon the Sarda act, making it more effective in preventing and prohibiting of child marriages.

But the legality of marriages is far from a simple definition of marriageable age. Each and every community have their own personal laws, adding confusion to complexity. The Hindu Marriage Act (1955), the Indian Christian Marriage Act (1872) and the Special Marriage Act (1954) – all have 18 and 21 years as the minimum marriageable age for women and men. In Islam, however, the marriage of a minor who has attained puberty is considered valid.

For the proposed law to be effective, it must have the power to supersede these existing Acts. There already exist instances of High courts upholding personal laws over and above the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

It is common knowledge that early marriages, and consequent early pregnancies, have serious negative implications for the overall physical and mental well-being of the mother and the child. Not surprisingly, these have been conclusively established many times by surveys conducted by various national and international organisations over the years.

But there is more. With great significance to our times. Jaya Jaitley, chairperson of the task force, set up by the Ministry for Women and Child Development (GoI) in 2020, observed that – “If we talk about gender equity and gender empowerment in every field, we cannot leave marriage out because this is a very odd message that a girl can be fit to be married at 18, that cuts away her opportunity to go to college, and the man has the opportunity to prepare himself for life and earning up to 21 years.” (Hindustan Times).

Indeed. Education and employability. That’s what matters.

Sanhita remembers the final days of her primary school. Her dear friend Ranu (in the same class, but a little older) was totally caught up in the whirlwind activities of her upcoming wedding! Ranu was excited, Sanhita was scared. As Ranu left for her ससुराल, Sanhita left for boarding school. After that, they met only once. Sanhita had come down to meet her grandmother before leaving for University. Ranu was visiting her parents – looking tired, world-weary and middle-aged with two almost-teenage children in tow. Ranu was only in her mid-twenties. They had nothing to say to each other.

Sanhita also remembers Ranajita-didi from her school. The quiet bespectacled girl who excelled in her studies and was always ready to help younger girls. The teachers of her school pleaded with Ranajita-didi’s family. It was her final year in school. But to no avail. Ranajita-didi was married off before she could call herself a matriculate!

She remembers someone else too. Someone belonging to an earlier generation. The woman who, through sheer grit, managed to get herself admitted to Medical school. But she was pulled out and was hastily married off because her cousin brothers found the idea preposterous! She would have been closer to finishing her degree and perhaps would have managed it somehow if she were allowed to study till the age of 21!

And what about Sanhita herself? Even though her marriage prospects were nothing to write home about, बढिया रिश्ता started pouring in the day she cleared the admission test for the most prestigious college in the state. She lived under the constant threat of being married off at a moment’s notice, her nights haunted by nightmares, till the day she secured admission in a far-away University and escaped from the clutches of assorted ‘well-meaning’ relatives!

No, these are not stories of girls from economically backward, marginalised communities. Their families sat bang in the middle of ‘middle class’. These girls would have been able to finish college secure in the knowledge that their sensible, law-abiding families would leave them alone till the legal marriageable age.

Because, according to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) the median age at first marriage for urban women is 19.8 years, and 18.1 years for their rural counterparts. This simply means that a large fraction of women are never attending or finishing college. Of course, all of them would not have the opportunity to go to college even if the law is passed. But some would now have a fair chance to. They and their daughters would help break the chain.

This then makes the real difference, particularly for the middle class women. Those who do not want to be ‘married off’ by their elders, graduation is the leverage they must have on their side. Because graduation opens the door to employment options that allows a woman to stay within her own middle-class economic strata even without family support. It is very difficult to be self-reliant on the strength of a high school certificate and continue to be middle-class. The scary prospect of moving out of the security of her familiar social strata make most middle class women acquiesce to ‘unwanted’ marriages and give up on a chance to have a say on their destiny.

In the end, these women also tend to be the most vulnerable in case of an unexpected change in the family circumstances (death of, divorce from or abandonment by the spouse). Tied down by dependent children, on the wrong side of employable age – they find it the most difficult to find a livelihood without adequate educational qualification. Even when families do not go through such serious life-changing events, middle/lower-middle class women often need to look for employment opportunities to supplement the family income. Given their background they preferentially opt for jobs as housekeepers, cooks, nannies – menial in essence but come with some semblance of social security and respectability.

These also happen to be the exact tasks that elite women want performed by women from poor but respectable families – those living in genteel poverty that is. There is nothing genteel about poverty, it has always been about exploitation. When women of middle/lower-middle class become unavailable for these tasks, when they either join the workforce outside or have enough understanding to keep the number of children low, have education enough to push their children out and above their own socio-economic strata – it indeed is a problem for the elites.

And this is exactly the reason the fancy feminists and the upper economic strata elites are out shrilly opposing the raising of women’s marriageable age. Why can I not unsee their ulterior motive behind this opposition? Because I know quite a few who are card-carrying members of this brigade. None of the women in their family get married a day before they acquire a full complement of professional degrees and a secure job at a highly paying profession. And how do these highly accomplished women step out in the world to have a fulfilling career or a high-profile social life? They do it by employing a bevy of half literate women – weighed down by a string of malnourished children, a tight family budget, and a small window of employability – who take care of the ladies’ mundane household chores. Where would such women come from if now a large fraction manage to finish college, become graduates and begin to shape life on their own terms? God forbid if they then aspire for higher studies putting up tough competitions to their own लाडली बिटिया? They see it as a threat to their ‘liberal privilege’ (as well-known blogger Abhishek Banerjee would say).

True, initially many families would continue to have their usual way and break the law. But a significant number would also be apprehensive about any brush with the law and would defer the marriage of a ‘legally’ underage daughter. And these women would be saved. We really can’t afford the luxury of educating the society first and legislate later. We must save as many young women from early marriage as we can. The process should begin as soon as possible. It should have happened yesterday. It should have happened the day before. We should be thankful that it is perhaps about to begin.

And we should ponder as to why our nation had to wait for a right-wing (which some read as ‘regressive’) government headed by an almost-monk elderly man to think about the plight of women? To ensure that women had the security and privacy to take care of their personal hygiene. To ensure that they didn’t spend their entire youth blowing into the चुल्हा and inhaling wood-smoke. And finally to ensure that they could at least have a chance to graduate before they could be ‘married off’.

Because we had given up on our tradition. The tradition which made a young monk say that human society flies on one wing if it does not work for the upliftment of women. The tradition which made an elderly scholar take upon the wrath and ridicule of the society to find corroboration of widow-remarriage in our ancient texts. We must be thankful that the nation is being led by a man who carries that tradition forward. We must count ourselves privileged to be alive in his time, to witness the social changes his work is bringing about.

The political ‘Vanvas’ of Hindutva is finally over: The Hindu politics has finally risen and is here to stay

0

Just before he was about to die, Raja Ranjit Singh had wished for Kohi-noor to be sent to Puri, at the temple of Bhagwan Shri Jagganath to atone for whatever sins he did living life of a warrior. Ranjit Singh though was born in a Sikh family was more Hindu than Sikh. He used to periodically donate cows to Brahmins, money to various temples including Bhadrakali temple in Patiala, and even had donated 1000 kg gold to Kashi Vishvanath.

When the state of Maharani Ahilya Bai grew in revenues and prosperity she started a campaign to restore and renovate many Hindu temples destroyed by Muslims or left unattended by Hindus themselves, including Baba Vishvnath.

In 1618, Raja Veer Singh Deva Bundela of Orchha built the Janmasthan temple at the cost of thirty-three lakh rupees which was later destructed by tyrant Aurangzeb.

In 1951, Jawaharlal Nehru had expressed strong objection to the presence of president Rajendra Prasad at the inauguration of the Somnath Temple complex, which he believed was against his idea of a ‘secular’ India in which state and religion were to be separated. He even opposed tooth and nail then Congress President Purshottam Das Tandon who was a staunch nationalist and had wanted a constitutional guarantee against religious conversion, supported the construction of the Somnath temple complex. His stands were often tagged by Nehru and his stooges as ‘Hindu Revivalism’.

It was Nehru who was invited to inaugurate the Somnath temple complex but he denied it. Nehru told Munshi, his Food and Agriculture Minister, “I do not like your trying to restore Somnath. It is Hindu revivalism.” Later on, Rajendra Prasad went to the event but in his speech, he also talked about the importance of religious tolerance and the adoption of Gandhian principles.

For decades starting from Nehru to Manmohan Singh, Congress has always been hesitant to embrace, accept and acknowledge the ‘Sanatan heritage’ of India. The majority faith, the very soul and way of life of Indian society. Congress maintained a distance from Hindus and their causes politically. It shunned them politically, behind the doors, and sometimes openly.

Hindus and their issues became a forbidden fruit in India that every politician was instructed not to touch. For decades after independence, Hindus were treated as politically untouchable. Our issues were not raised, our sentiments not respected, and our heritage uncared for. It was left to be looted, molded, and exploited up until 2014 when things finally started to change and the political vanvas of Hindus ended. Though things had started to change with the resurgence of BJP and Ram Mandir’s agitation still it was not at this scale as it is now. It won’t be an overstatement that BJP and RSS have been more than successful in changing the political culture of India concerning India. Hindu politics has finally risen and is here to stay.

In 2014, just after his victory, I remember watching a person on Aaj Tak saying that after 1000 years, a Hindu King has been instilled on the throne of Delhi. I smiled at his affirmation and innocence. I often doubted, what could single Modi do in a country so complex, with such diversity, convoluted constitutional machinery, difficult minorities, cunning, and spineless opposition, and such strong leftist and communist presence in administration, judiciary, and academia But now when I look back, I realize he has done a lot.

His holy dip in Ganga marks the cleansing of this political system that has degraded Hindus and their heritage for decades. It also marked the Pind Daan of Nehruvian and Gandhian politics. Nehru would have got an epilepsy attack if he was alive today seeing the Prime Minister of India taking a dip in Ganga and chanting ‘Har Har Mahadev’ from the stage. This open display of Hindu culture had never been seen in India before, even Atal Bihari Vajpayee was very cautious with it unless it annoyed his coalition partners.

Nehru was more concerned about the welfare of minorities even if it came at cost of the majority of Hindus. Nehru had let go of Kashmir and Aksai Chin. Nehru destroyed Hinduism and petted India while Bharat continued to suffer. Nehru tried to kill the very soul of India, tried to suffocate Sanatan dharma, abhorred our saints and traditions much as Churchill did. Nehru made many blunders in his personal and political life but one blunder which often goes unnoticed was that he was stupid. He was stupid in diluting the adhesive that held Bharata. India was partitioned on religious lines and quiet naturally, India was supposed to be (only) home of Hindus whether they belonged to Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Bengal or Punjab, or Marathwada. Hindu was the common factor gluing all of them. But Nehru in his stupidity mistook these roots for undergrowth and started cutting them without thinking twice.

He considered Hinduism as primitive, unprogressive, and a hurdle in India’s development (though his very own economic policies damaged India more than anything could) He started considering the natives, the outsider, and respected outsiders as natives. Ideally, he should have emphasized common Hindu identity, further strengthened it, any sane man or leader would have done that (See, even to this date how aggressively Chinese try to emphasize common Han legacy) but this fool, unknowingly or maybe knowingly promoted dissociation and disidentification. And that is the reason why even after 75 years of independence there is no common national identity.

Nehru failed to understand that Hindutva or Hinduism is synonymous with non-violence, acceptance, inclusion, and pluralism. Like liberals of today’s age, I think he also feared what if Hindus started acting like Muslims. But he forgot that the Gandhian principles of non-violence about which he thumped his chest on were not Gandhi’s discovery but the gift of Hinduism to mankind. But Nehru regarded Hinduism as an enemy, the Mother faith of India, the ever nurturing timeless culture which he could never understand. And he dedicated his all life to protecting children from their mother and without a mother, every child is destined to go wild and so did India and Indians. He was a fool and never realized that India can only survive, progress and rise if Hindu society survives. The future of India is only safe with Hindus. The political repulsiveness of Nehru soon became a trend and by the time of Manmohan Singh, a protocol. Hindus became politically untouchable and hollow Gandhian and senseless Nehruvian principles dominated the Indian political landscape until Modi came.

Now Modi’s entry into the Indian political arena had been facilitated by RSS which itself works on teachings of Veer Savarkar, Hedgewar, Aurbindo, and many great Hindu leaders, sages, monarchs, social activists, and mahapurusha who dreamt and worked for Hindu Swaraj, right from Shivaji Maharaj to Karpatri Ji Maharaj to karsevaks who got shot.

Modi is not a single night phenomenon, he is here because generations of leaders, Hindus worked and sacrificed themselves. We shall discuss it some other time but for now, let us accept Modi traces his roots to RSS which unlike Nehru acknowledged the importance of Hindu society for the survival of India. RSS never distinguished between Hinduism and India, for them both were obligate to each other’s existence, rather synonymous. They considered Hinduism as an instrument to unite disintegrated Indian society. The glue that could keep India together. They stress on people taking pride in their cultural and spiritual heritage. They even encourage Indian political leaders as well as their followers to embrace their Hindu culture openly. And it is very logical, India is the official homeland of Hindus and for decades its adherents had been treated as second-grade citizens and have paid for the ideological retardation of Nehru and Gandhi. India is Hindu and Hindus are India.

And Modi’s attending of Ram Janmbhumi Pujan or inauguration of Kashi Vishvnath Dham is not only political symbolism or vote bank politics but is a statement and an assertion. It is proof that now political culture that suppressed Hindu identity, that preferred topi over tikka, where going to iftar was secular but attending puja was communal, is finally over. The political vanvas of Hindus is finally over. For the first time in history, the Hindu vote bank is making its presence felt. It is no accident that Arvind Kejriwal who used to mock Shri Ram organized Diwali Puja and even visited Ayodhya, scion of the Gandhi family runs around telling his gotra to people, Akhilesh and Mayawati Ji announcing the building of statue of Bhagwan Parshuram and visiting temples and doing Dharma sabhas. Kanhaiya Kumar who recently joined INC was spotted in a tilak and saffron scarf. Even Mamta Banerjee had to chant the names of Maa Durga to prove her Hindu roots or tell she is a brahmin. It is indeed a new era of politics in India, the Hindutva Politics.

Hindus for the first time after independence have made politicians realize their electoral power and influence. Hindutva is no more shunned but slowly every politician and party is trying to adapt their party to it. No politician wants to annoy Hindus. But this unity right now is fragile but I am hopeful it will last. Hindus should glue to their identity and shun caste politics. We must not succumb to the propaganda of an acharya or any caste supremacist. This Hindu unity needs to survive if you want to survive. Many people who did nothing for our dharma for decades are suddenly claiming our leadership. Hindus should not do it for anyone but their future because casteism makes us vulnerable. Hindutva is strength. It is power.

This is our last chance to protect ourselves and our way of life. We have seen what happened to Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh when they succumbed to alien cultures. India is our last and only home. The strength of India lies in its spirituality and religiosity, it lies in the Hindu way of life. With a progressive outlook and deep devotion to our Janmbhumi and Dharma, we must keep going ahead. This is not the end but a beginning. Never let any setback frustrate you, in a complex state like India things take time and Modi is taking his time. This political acceptance of Hinduism is the first step to Hindu Rashtra. No previous Prime Minister or leader of any party has so openly taken pride and flaunted their Hindu identity. We must show our gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and RSS for they have won the first battle. We must thank them for beautifying our beloved Kashi. As, once upon a time, a Kashmiri MP had said, “Jo Sachh Hai Wo Kehna Chahiye”.

Thank You Modiji!

Shameless Ravish Kumar’s Prime Time on inflation

0

Every now and then, I keep looking at the content that aims to find flaws in the current ruling dispensation. Why? Because its a must. How do I know if I am missing something if I keep looking at the same type of content? How do I know if there exists another valid point of view which makes sense? When I try to do that, every now and then I come across Ravish Kumar’s Prime Time show. And every time I see the show, I remember about a girl I met a couple of years ago in Europe.

I met her a couple of years ago at a Board Game evening. She used to stay with her elder brother, her brother was running a little late and would join us amongst others in an hour or so. She added a new word to my vocabulary that time – Smoke-Up; apparently it is a euphemism for smoking weed. “Oh god you don’t know what smoke up is?” was her exact reaction. I felt a little embarrassed and quickly did a google search to check what it actually is. In the meanwhile she took the makeshift cigarette lit it up and puff – a cloud of smoke rose high up in the sky. After some time, her brother showed up and as soon as she saw his brother, who did not smoke coming, she stubbed the cigarette, got rid of the left over cigarette, popped a mouth freshener and behaved as if nothing had happened. Why? I guess this was normal or she had some decency. Don’t judge me on the choice of words, I am just telling what happened. I guess younger ones in India hide their bad habits from the elders. But things changed this time when we met. She had completely gone berserk smoking weed right in her brother’s presence. No more being discreet about the bad habit or making any efforts to cover up. She now had the audacity to smoke on her brother’s face and staring in his eyes without any sort of shame on the face.

Now just replace, the girl with Ravish Kumar, the habit of smoking weed with biased journalism and the girl’s brother with the audience or the people of India.

During, Modi government’s first term, Journalists like Ravish Kumar were at least pretending to be neutral and were making efforts to cover up their misdemeanors; were furthering their agendas discreetly. Fast forward to Modi government’s second term, they have got the audacity to showcase their biased journalism without any shame, they do it right in your face, staring in your eyes and if you blink, they call you the stupid person who’s understanding comes from whatsapp university.

I recently saw this episode of his on Inflation, have a look:

Here he literally calls people who support the government, stupid amongst many other things like “Inflationist”. He keeps on complaining about the rising inflation. So, I actually wanted to check the numbers on my own, since he didn’t give any numbers on inflation in the show. I mean, if you are making a show talking about rising inflation, at least you will give some numbers like:

What is current Inflation?

If it is high, what inflation rate are we comparing it to? High cannot be in isolation, high compared to what?

Does Petrol price alone decides the inflation rate? Because in the show, rise in petrol price is equated to rise in inflation

So, I tried to find these numbers on my own. Here are the findings:

  • India inflation rate for 2020 was 6.62%, a 2.9% increase from 2019.
  • India inflation rate for 2019 was 3.72%, a 0.22% decline from 2018.
  • India inflation rate for 2018 was 3.95%, a 0.62% increase from 2017.
  • India inflation rate for 2017 was 3.33%, a 1.62% decline from 2016.

And the chart:

The year 2021 is not included as the year did not finish yet, below is the data for this year on a monthly basis:

To my eyes, it looks like inflation is actually decreasing since May this year. Where is Ravish Kumar getting his data that suggests that Inflation in India is rising? When he says Inflation is high, compared to what? Compared to 12% during UPA’s era? You could see the chart yourself, even with a Pandemic and Global Energy Crisis the Inflation in 2020 was way – way less than what was a normal during UPA’s both the terms. I will come back to Petrol Prices in just a minute. And if we go by RBI’s forecast for the rest of the months for this year, the inflation is going to stay less than 6%. And just to remind, RBI’s target is to keep inflation between 2% to 6%, so that’s the comfort zone. Ravish Kumar may think that a Pandemic would not affect inflation, but that’s his thinking. Inflation rates for mostly all the countries took a jump because of it; for instance the inflation rates in the US jumped from 1.4% to 5.4% a whooping 4% rise; you could check for any country on Earth of your liking and you will find the similar pattern. Last I checked, we were also a country on Earth; may be Ravish Kumar and his team has been in contact with Martians.

Now coming back to Petrol Prices. Indeed the prices have sky rocketed and are at their highest so far. Ravish Kumar very conveniently says UPA subsidized petrol prices, why can’t BJP? True, UPA did subsidize Petrol Prices and reduced the Petrol prices but at the very same time had a bump in Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation. So, while the common man was paying less for Petrol but was somehow spending much more overall. In short, UPA made a fool out of the common men, made them to spend more in their day to day life and still kept their good graces. The point is Petrol is one of the many commodities that contribute in the Headline Inflation. If we take an overview the Headline Inflation (the overall inflation), it is a weighted sum of Food Inflation, Fuel Inflation and the Core Inflation (everything other than food and fuel). Also conveyance fuel (Petrol and Diesel) go to the core inflation via the transportation sub group. My simple point being, if we are talking about the spending of the common men, we should be talking about the headline inflation (overall inflation). And when we have to analyze why the inflation is so high (if it is high), then we have to talk about the individual sub groups. But claiming that inflation is rising high and citing petrol prices when inflation is not even rising, is simply an attempt to create chaos.

Having said that, should we not question the government on rising petrol prices? Yes, of course we should, different groups of people are affected with different severity levels with the price rise. But then there should be more sensible questions, like:

  • Our honorable minister of Road Transportation and Highways of India, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, in each and every of his interaction mentions the usage of Ethanol produced from crop residue etc. as a potential fuel for vehicles. So, the question is what is the status? How much ethanol is being used as fuel today? I know there is a global energy crisis, so it seems like a viable option. But there should be numbers to track? You cannot keep saying, we will do this – we will do this like Congress did for the last 70 years for every other thing. We do not have an eternity to wait. Do we?
  • He also lays a lot of emphasis on Electric vehicles. And I get that rising petrol prices would in some way drive this plan of EV usage and replacing the vehicles running on petrol and diesel to Electric Vehicles. But what about the infrastructure required? Charging stations? How much of the public transport like buses are electric as of now? What is the time line here?
  • Our honorable prime minister proudly mentions the rate at which renewable sources of energy like solar energy are being utilized. So, the question again is how long will it take to rely solely on these renewable sources alone? I know there is a global coal shortage. Solar energy sounds a viable option to replace solar energy. So what’s the timeline here?

These are just a few questions, there are many more. But Ravish Kumar or any other journalist like him would never ask these questions. Why? Simply because, the goal here is not to improve the state of the country or the condition of the common man but the goal is to create anarchy, chaos, just enough to get rid of this ruling government and get back to power. These questions would force the government to do something constructive, questions like these have a positive tone. But that’s not what journalists like him want. Do they? Power!! Corruption!! Illicit Money!! Filth is what they want.

You might have heard the word “sledging“, it is a term used in cricket to describe a devious practice whereby some players seek to gain an advantage by deliberately insulting or verbally intimidating the opposing player. The purpose is to try to weaken the opponent’s concentration, thereby causing them to underperform or be more prone to error.

This is exactly what’s happening for last few years, just shamelessly trying to build pressure and forcing the government to make mistakes, once they do – GAME OVER!!
