Iran’s nuclear diplomacy: Necessity or threat

0

Abstract

The nuclear weapons, one of the most destructive weapon in the world, is really important in present world for each and every country. It has sometimes become necessity for any country but sometimes it has been the biggest threat for another country. It has been, nowadays, used as nuclear energy for power generation with less amount of pollution which has been the much needed step for achieving the aim of Paris Summit signed in 2015.

Presently, each and every country wants to increase their nuclear stocks as early as possible and some countries want to hide from the world about their nuclear stocks. One such country is Jomhuri-ye Eslāmi-ye Irān  or Islamic Republic of Iran , the country which is blacklisted by FATF has been the country which want to hide their nuclear stocks from the world. But the question arises why any country want to hide their nuclear stocks because it is considered as the most important weapon in the present world and the hiding of nuclear weapons is necessity or threat for the country.

Keywords

State – The territory or the nation which has sovereign government.

Nuclear Disarmament – The act of reducing or eliminating nuclear weapons.

Non-Proliferation – The act of discouraging or reducing the hoarding.

Introduction

The Nuclear weapons, as the events which has been happened until now like the dropping of bomb “fat boy” or cherbonyl nuclear disaster, has clearly states, they are the most important weapons for the survivable of the country.Though at present time as a signatories of NPT in 1969 and the formation of Nuclear agency IAEA to check the nuclear capacity in the country, it has been assumed that the countries are using nuclear for the  peaceful purposes. But the the reality has always been hidden.

At present according to the report published by SIPRI yearbook in 2020, many countries are increasing their stockpiles of nuclear weapons. India, Pakistan and China are main countries as they are not a part of NPT.

But in the present world it is utmost important for some countries to have stockpiles for nuclear weapons. But it is still ambiguous to tell that the nuclear stockpiles are of necessity or a threat .

As we have seen , the country like Iran, the country with highest border and one of the most important country as situated at the crossroads of Central Asia, South Asia, and the Arab states of the Middle East. This strategic position—and its access to the Persian Gulf in the south—have made Iran an important country throughout its history. Iran has the highest border with 7 countries and all the countries are have become a threat for Iran. But sometimes it seems like the the Iran has been a threat for the world because of its increasing stockpiles of nuclear.

MAIN OBJECTIVE

The country of 1648195 sq km2 and just 8.4 crore people and run by the hard cleric president having major Shia castes Muslims have been considered by the world as one of the major threat due to its increasing nuclear stockpiles accusing for using for making a nuclear weapon.

The aim of the research is to find out how can the country with just a small population and a small area can become a threat for the world which other countries are accusing. Another question arises that is it really a threat for the world or necessity for the small countries like Iran to save increase their nuclear stockpiles? The problem not ends here itself because other countries like India, Pakistan, China are also increasing their nuclear stockpiles and why such stringent action can be taken against the country like China?

The main accusation it was facing is that it has not complied with the terms signed in JCPOA. However the terms are  Under the deal, Iran agreed to curb its nuclear activity in return for the lifting of sanctions and access to global trade. The agreement allowed Iran to accumulate small amounts of uranium for research but it banned the enrichment of uranium, which is used to make reactor fuel and nuclear weapons. Iran was also required to redesign a heavy-water reactor being built, whose spent fuel could contain plutonium suitable for a bomb and to allow international inspections. On this basis again the question arises, if any country does not complied with the terms set by the major developed countries, then the countries would have to suppressed on that grounds? Though it was ambiguous about the status of Iran in the treaty of NPT and major sanctions for uranium enrichment have been imposed against it by major countries but Israel , main ally of US, and one of the country of infringing human rights, and no action has been taken against it yet.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO BE KNOWN

The nuclear diplomacy is really important in the present world because each and every country though want to show that they are decreasing the stockpiles of nuclear weapons but the reality is every country needs to be safe and therefore they have relied on the weapon which can destroy the other enemy easily i.e. Nuclear weapon. Though some countries like India, Pakistan have shown that they are increasing stockpiles but maximum countries like Iran have to hide their nuclear stockpiles.

Iran though the small country with bordering 7 countries is really at the most strategic position. But if we have seen the history of Iran , it wants the nuclear program since 1950s. But as the time passes since 2002-2015 Iran wanted to be a nuclear country very badly. Everyone in the world thinks that Iran will be great threat for other countries as it is stockpiling the nuclear warheads. But the question or main topic of research is why Iran want the nuclear weapons.

The research which has been conducted finds that the west has been suppressing Iran since invasion of Iran in 1979. The former president of US has also supported Saddam Hussain to invade Iran. He added Iran in its ‘evil of Axis’ as well. After the research as well we find that  are convinced that US shows supremacy over other countries and suppressed other countries as well. Therefore due to the strategic importance of Iran, US wants to annex Iran and US has sent its army to Afghanistan and Iraq. This shows Iraq is generally an important ally of US and US has been showing suppression since the beginning of the Republic of Iran.

Though the signing between P5+1 has been utmost important but the backing of US president by giving the reason that Iran is not complying with the agreement ,even in 2018 according to report by IAEA shows that Iran has been complying with the agreement , shows that US wants to show supremacy on each and every country. We also think that  trump has been backed out due to diplomatic relations and high cost of operation of army.

But the main point is again why Iran needs such a destructive weapon because Iran also knows that if it can use it , it may destruct the whole country.

The Findings says that Iran being the country with many numbers of enemies though countries like China and Russia helped but most of the countries are against it. If we see through the purview of Iran , we may find that Iran is a major Shia Muslim Country which has clearly showed that every Sunni Muslim country like UAE, Saudi Arabia etc are all against it. We have seen that west has always been oppressive and offensive against it even every Europe country is  criticizing its policies. If we see from Asia side, China is helping, India is neutral but looking at the Pakistan, we find that it is home for many number of terrorist which may be hostile against Iran. If everything against us we can take help from neighbour. But looking at the neighbour of Iran we have find that  the overturn of government in Afghanistan by one of the major terrorist group I.e. Taliban. The group though Muslim-centrist but on of the major enemy of Iran. We have seen that the terrorist group has easily taken different parts of the Afghanistan and has taken control over the entire Afghanistan in just a few days after the US has back off.

The another enemy and major enemy , Iraq, which has the highest influence of the US army is another major problem for Iran. Iraq is the country where one of the major terrorist group ISIS has been born for years. Though both the countries have been sharing major common interest but there is always a issue after the major Iran-Iraq war in 1973. The presence of US has been considered as another problem.

Turkey and Iran both the countries have regarded themselves as one of the major power of Middle east is another form of tension. This region is really important for both the countries. The another conflict is Turkey strong relation with the US.Thus Iran is being the isolated country from the world which really need a true friend which may really help the country at odd times.

The another reason is being the nuclear program is very big issue in the Iran domestic politics. The hard cleric country with the view that it is not under anyone but it the country with the full power of its own.

ANALYSIS

Iran is country which has been surrounded by 7 major countries like to the north by Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, and the Caspian Sea, to the east by Pakistan and Afghanistan, to the south by the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, and to the west by Turkey and Iraq. And according to the different form of studies we find that it is really important for Iran to have nuclear stockpiles.

Currently we have seen that the overturn of government in Afghanistan by one of the major terrorist group I.e. Taliban. The group though Muslim Centrism but on of the major enemy of Iran. We have seen that the terrorist group has easily taken different parts of the Afghanistan and has taken control over the entire Afghanistan in just a few days after the US has back off.

The another enemy and major enemy , Iraq, which has the highest influence of the US army is another major problem for Iran. The Iraq is the country where one of the major terrorist group ISIS has been born for years.

The another conflict is Turkey strong relation with the US. The problem of present war for oil and natural gas has been shaped Iran as the country of Utmost important as it has very high rich oil and natural gas reserves.

If we analyse the things accordingly , the theory of realism is utmost important which is given by Hans J. Morgenthau. According to him, the power defined as ,”Man’s control over the minds and action of other man”. This theory can be considered as the utmost important. The main core of elements of this theory can easily tell that there is much needed of this theory in the present world.

  1. Statism- The first elements tells that state is the sole representative in the present world for ensuring the interest of the people> State can do whatever it wants for the accomplishment of the interest of the people.
  2. Survival- The second and most important elements which can tell the conclusion as well. The meaning of this Survival is the universal national interest of the nation. According to this , for the survival it is really important to take the steps which helpful in safeguarding the interest of the nation and the foreign policy could be made by the state looking at one’s own interest.
  3. Self-Help – The third and the last element which is really of utmost important tells us the real answer of the problem. According to it, each state actor is responsible for ensuring its own well-being and survival which clearly states that for the safety and for the survival of the  interest of citizens the state can take any step.

Thus, if we analysis the strategic position of Iran in parlance with the theory of Realism, we can think that the nuclear weapon can be very important source of safety for the country like Iran as it is a landlocked country and its relation with its each neighbour is highly intense. Therefore  in my opinion  the nuclear weapon for Iran can be a necessity than a threat but it can also be turn into threat, Therefore to avoid this type of situation, Iran also should adopt “Nuclear first use Policy’ like Indian which states that the country can not use its nuclear stockpiles if other country avoided it.

CONCLUSION

After a very long discussion and long research , we can only conclude that the world free from nuclear disarmament can only be a myth. The Gandhian Principles of Satya and Non-violence has only been looked good in books but in the present world where each country in any or other way are fighting on some reasons the bad effect of which has been resulted in migration of citizens, human rights violation.

The main causes of this problem can be lack of mutual interest between the nations. In present world, every country has been following the idea of realism and the very little about the theory of Neo-liberalism. This has been shown in many parts of the world. Another reason is suppression by major developed countries. They want the supremacy over the world therefore they try to rule in their own way which is another form of conflict among the countries. The third reason is the value of survivable of the interest of the citizen which has been, sometimes, infringed by another countries which has become a threat  or cause of tension among the countries.

Thus, the problem whether the nuclear weapon for small country like Iran is necessity or threat for the world reached at the conclusion that the small country like Iran which is a landlocked country and fear of war from all sides has become a necessity for the country to increase its nuclear stockpiles to some extent for its safety purpose. And it is also an area of strategic importance as where the world is fighting for the oil and natural gas reserves and it is the area of maximum gas reserves put the country in a position where it has to save its reserves from the external sources and thus where the countries like US, UK etc have very highly and Neo-technology weapons. Therefore to save its country and for the survival of the country, as it is the major asset for its GDP, it has been considered a necessity for the country.

But the problem is whether the stockpile can be used anytime during war or threat. Therefore I think that Iran alike other countries should adopt Nuclear First Use Policy. And other treaties should also be signed between different countries like NEW START TREATY between US and Russia for nuclear disarmament so that each country should live peacefully and without any type of war.

Shopkeepers turning Customers

0

Shopkeepers are turning into customers! Strange to hear, is it?  But day-in-and-day-out it is probably becoming a reality as it seems the new trend which is fast emerging. It is very common to see many of the retail vegetable or grocery items shopkeepers or their employees picking vegetables, grocery items, etc. and putting in baskets, just like any other customers in the shop. Even in the billing counter, one can find many baskets full of items procured but no customers standing nearby or no one to make payment on the spot for those articles. It is actually the service done for the ‘distant’ customers. Not like social distancing, but it is a different kind of keeping distance. It is not that the shopkeepers are choosing the vegetables or grocery items for themselves but they are just-like customers but not real customers in the true sense of the term as the payment for the goods procured is made via online mode of payment subsequent to delivery of the goods to those distant home-sitting customers, so to say lazy customers.

It may not be surprising that even the grocery items or vegetables delivered on door might be collected by the domestic servant who might also be playing the role of cooking the food. So, what is left is just the work of eating. But till date, thank God, at least that work is done by the concerned individual himself/herself and no outsource has yet started for that, maybe because, after all, it is eating for one’s own stomach and getting satiated. There are similar jokes making rounds in social media, where one finds an affluent visitor to the Gym sitting idly at one place near the exercise machines but not doing any physical exercise and upon a friend’s asking as to why he is not doing exercise, reply comes that he is a rich man and that how can rich man do exercise himself, they have servants for that. Similar to that joke is the one I am mentioning in this write-up. Vegetables are procured by one, cooked by another and ultimately eating part which is the ‘most difficult task’ for such busy people is the only thing undertaken by the so-called customer who really pays for the product purchased.

Surprisingly, even the shopkeepers select the fresh and good products for delivery at home as otherwise they have the fear of losing on those distant or online customers who might switch to some other outlets which are available in large numbers nowadays if the items supplied are not up to the mark or fresh. If someone thinks that those online or distant customers are busy like a bee, it is just a misconception. For, those distant customers have all the time available in the world for going on morning or evening walks, run or jog in polluted and traffic-ridden roads or run with their pet dog in parks or in their vicinity or undertake yoga or go to Gym, etc. but to go for purchasing vegetables and groceries, oh no, they will ask or surf in the net to find where is the nearest online facility providing shops, or send their domestic maid to go and procure the vegetables and groceries.

The Corona pandemic period has also added to the phenomenon of online purchases to some extent. If one does one’s work oneself, then there will hardly be any need for going to gym or do yoga etc. But then this new trend has become a fashion statement among many of the customers and they in fact feel ashamed to go for buying vegetables or groceries or to carry it themselves to home.  And then, there are other kind of customers who come to the shops but they need labour to take the stuff to their home. Still understandable, it might be because of some ailment but at the same time there are some lazy customers who fell reluctant to carry the weight and utilise the free door delivery services provided by the shop. Now the society is becoming such that one need not come out of the house for absolutely anything, as everything is available online and payment also made online or on arrival. Even Doctors are available online who prescribe the medicines and the medicines also, just like vegetables or groceries, are now delivered at doorstep. Just if one has to undergo some surgery, then only the need of the Hospital is felt, otherwise now there is no need to come out of the house and one can comfortably confine oneself within the four walls of one’s home.

But it is once again a misconception that if one goes to Gym then only one becomes smart.  Recently, newspaper reports abound of news such as a labourer in Kerala becoming a model as he maintained his six-abs just by doing menial jobs and similarly another news item appeared wherein it was mentioned that a balloon selling girl also became a model. It is clear that one’s smartness is inborn quality and is not moulded by going to Gym and undertaking other kinds of work-ups and even if there appears some change in body structure it will be temporary and the time one stops going to Gym, one’s body is back to square one. Human body is made such that doing regular domestic chorus keeps one fit and fine and one may forget going to Gym or doing Yoga and definitely say a goodbye to such habit of purchasing almost everything online. It is not that online purchases should be stopped forthwith but needs to be restricted to goods which are not readily available in nearby local shops or is hard to procure.

Mall(s) needs to take a call

0

With the onset of hot summer season, it is common sight to see uncontrollable rush in the Mall(s) particularly in States where it is hot weather, particularly in weekends and generally in the Malls located in cities/towns. The reason for the huge rush being not one but many, that is, free of cost Air Conditioned premises, toilet facilities with no less than 5-Star hotel type with free sanitary items, free hand dryers, free napkins/tissues, etc., places for relaxing in the Malls regardless of in-time and out-time. It is also a common sight that majority of the Mall goers’ hands are free with hardly some customers, rather real customers, carrying shopping bags with articles purchased. Majority of the visitors to the Mall just come for the sake of outing and enjoying the above facilities free of cost. Similar is the case during winter season with facilities of heating and other amenities. One may even undertake the bowel movement in a state-of-the-art toilets in Mall(s).

There are different categories of visitors to the Malls, for example, those real high street customers who make the day for the shops in the vicinity of Malls, then there are customers who come just for purchase of grocery and other household items getting attracted by the offer of discounts, etc. which hardly prove a benefit for the Mall in the real sense of the term, then there are some customers who come for a break with eating outside in many of the eating outlets available in the Mall and pass hours of time in the Mall just having a plate of chole bature or masala dosa, that too, on sharing basis, then lastly, there are those fake customers who just visit Mall for the purpose of passing time and enjoy the facilities all free of cost and hardly even spend a Rupee.

In addition, there are the Tik-Tok type characters who come just for the sake of enjoyment, picnicking and taking selfie with many of the artistic objects and decorations found in the Mall. Now, in the pandemic period, to talk about the various hygiene measures including usage of free hand sanitizing machines installed in the Mall, the less said the better. It must be that many litres of hand sanitizers may be in use on daily basis in the Malls all being used by majority of the visitors without limit. If one buys hand sanitizer at home, one might think twice before using the same or pressing on the nozzle, but while using the same in Mall, there is no limit. Sometimes people just try the bath themselves with the hand sanitizer since the machine keeps spraying the liquid without any condition.

It is high time some nominal amount like Rs. 50 or even Rs. 100 is charged for entry into Mall, depending on the location of the Mall itself. For the real customers, it will not be a big amount but at least it will curtail the unnecessary visitors to the Mall thereby decrease the avoidable rush and also save on the various cleaning materials that are in use and for which expenditure needs to be incurred for maintaining the cleanliness in the Mall. Since the Malls are all private-owned, there should hardly be any reason for not charging fee for entry and usage of Mall(s). For that matter, can anyone enter inside the Airport and avail the free Air Conditioning and other facilities?  No.  The various Malls all across the various cities are no less than any of the Airports as far as the facilities and cleanliness are concerned. Even many of the office-goers in the nearby areas of Mall(s) can easily park their vehicles in the Malls offering free parking facilities.

There should be parking charges levied by the Mall on an hourly basis. One cannot be denied entry into Malls but once some charge is levied for entry into Mall, then the crowd particularly in the weekends can be curtailed to a large extent and thereby maintain the standards and cleanliness of the Malls. The situation is gruesome during festival days in various Malls. Any places of entertainment or recreation, be it fun, amusement or water park, be it gym, be it swimming pool, be it Cineplex or multiplex, be it museum or exhibition, be it sports complex, nothing comes for free nowadays. Then why only the Mall which is allowed entry-free and which makes one utilize the facilities free of cost and thereby increase on the avoidable foot counts in the Mall? Nowadays, nothing comes for free, even the oxygen was available for a cost during the pandemic period. If Mall(s) owners are running a charity, then it’s a different matter, but we do not think any of the Malls will be running for a charity purpose.

The Malls need to impose entry restrictions by way of imposition of fixed charges and definitely there should not be any kind of objection from any angle, since such step of charging for entry into Malls will only add on to the facilities and comforts for the ‘real customers’ in the Mall. If some kind of entry fee is charged, then only the genuine customers- be it for eateries, or for hyper stores or for various other outlets in the Mall – will visit the Mall and spend at least some amount of money and which is what is the purpose of the Mall should be, as it cannot be said to be a place for just entertainment or for passing time and utilizing the facilities available that too totally free of cost.

Narrative has changed, will the ground reality change too?

0

Back in 2014, before pressing the button on EVM for the “mass murderer”; the only pray in my mind was that whatever is being propagated about him, should not come true. After a couple of months, when I visited my parents during holidays, my father and I were having a political discussion and he questioned the priorities and mindset of Indian Muslims and I clearly remember replying “This is what neutral and secular people like us were afraid of, that his party people would say and behave this way.”

Why do I mention this incident? To remind myself and everyone else the amount of ignorance we were living in; how strong the ecosystem was and more importantly what happens when people are brought on false history. In the last 8 years, I find my opinions mirroring my father more and more and ashamed of myself for having such a mindset after growing up in such a propaganda filled environment since my birth.

It is a common saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”. One thing for which Kashmir Files has to be lauded is it did not tone down the brutality and violence which took place during the 7th exodus of the Kashmiri Hindus and thus, created a powerful imagery in the minds of the people who watched it specially on big screen. Though Kashmir Files made general public aware of what exactly happened with Kashmiri Hindus; but for those who are politically aware, there was nothing in the film which they did not know already – whether it is the open admission of Bitta Karate, stories of betrayal of common Kashmiri Muslims, role of mosques and Islamic scholars in the genocide, shameful whitewashing of Yasin Malik’s crimes and his subsequent patronage by the Left-Liberal intelligentsia and Congress politicians in Lutyens’ circle. All these and much more have been made aware to the people like me in last 8 years who wanted to know the truth.

I always used to wonder why the left leaning academicians try so hard to justify the acts of Islamic terrorists especially in the Kashmir Valley. With Kashmir Files, the answer has become evident. If just one movie has shaken the collective consciousness of the entire nation and has demolished the mountains of lies/propaganda of 32 years, just imagine the outrage when the details of the entire sequence of events would start coming out one by one; be it the role of Abdullahs, or the patronage by the Congress, or the complicity of the entire government machinery.

The question that common Hindu living in Kanyakumari or Bengal or UP or Bihar would ask is how come the entire society and democratic system turned against their brothers and sisters and that if the same can happen to them if they are not vigilant; they would not care whether some Jagmohan was the Governor or not, whether VP Singh government was running in the center with BJP’s outside support, or any other flimsy arguments being used by the lutyens’ gang to shift the blame from the Congress and Islamists to the Hindus and BJP. And the sane politicians in the Congress know this very well and that’s why most of them are keeping quiet or at maximum giving very measured statements on this raging issue.

This is the first time a Hindu issue is getting so much coverage in the mainstream media, not because the mainstream media wants to show this but because they have been left with no choice after the stupendous commercial success of the film and after the endorsements by the top chairs of the country like the Prime Minister, Home Minister, CMs of various Indian states (even the Congress CMs had to arrange special screenings of the film). For last 8 years, we have seen how hard the mainstream media and the entire left leaning cabal (across Bollywood, Bureaucracy, Literary circle, Academic circle, Judiciary and others) had tried to peddle the narrative of “Dara Hua Musalman”, Minority in danger, Lynchistan, Intolerance, etc etc. Though the Indian voters did not buy the narrative but it was not for the lack of trying. Now, with just one stroke, the entire narrative has come crashing down. Talk about “Sau Sunar ki, ek Lohar ki”.

If we want to be naïve, we can chose to be but there is no denying the hand of Narendra Modi and his ecosystem in this entire Kashmir Files episode. If we study the sequence of events carefully, we would be compelled to appreciate the modus operandi of the Supreme Leader and slowly clap our hands together to acknowledge how he demolished the entire narrative with just one stroke of brilliance. Common citizens are sponsoring each other so that the truth can reach to the maximum number of people. Those people who have not watched a single movie in theatre in their entire life are lining up to watch this movie in the heartlands of rural India. People are travelling hundreds of kilometers to see this movie. This was unfathomable 8 years back. Imagine if this movie had come 7-8 years back, it would have not achieved all that it has achieved today. This is what Narendra Modi has changed in last 8 years. HE HAS CHANGED THE NARRATIVE whilst the many of us were questioning him for his commitment towards the Hindutva cause.

We can go on and on about how reactions to the Kashmir Files is exposing the mindset of every single person around us but that would not achieve much. Instead what we need to look at is the reaction of common Muslims across the country. Majority have outrightly rejected the movie as propaganda, majority have denied the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus, and almost on one has apologized for the atrocities committed in the name of their religion. Compared this to the reaction of many ignorant Hindus, like I was before 2014, after a few random cases of lynchings, or after a thief was beaten up in the temple.

Just take a moment to grasp the level of conditioning that a common Muslim has been subjected to that even the atrocities of such kind have not been able to shake their consciousness. This is what scares the Hindus. One thing which Narendra Modi has done for a common Indian like me is to give us the power to utter the truth. Before 2014, we neither wanted to say the truth nor were ready to hear the same. Given this newfound confidence, “Woke Hindus” (pun intended) have started questioning whether India’s demographic change and their subsequent fate (Pakistan and Bangladesh) is an inevitable reality or there is still some chance to change the mindset of 200-300 million people? The answer to this question will decide whether the narrative change yields any tangible results or not.

Some of the recent incidents like that of hoisting flags on clock towers, reaction to Bengal post poll violence, introduction of Sanatani epics and texts, and many others give hope that Hindus have indeed woken up. This change is not limited to only the regime change but points towards the beginning of the revival of the oldest surviving civilization on the planet earth. Reaction to all these incidents, or rather the lack of it, by the Islamists give hope that though it will be a long battle but we can change the mindset of those who have strayed towards the wrong path. Most of the people, whether Hindus or Muslims, want to live life without political interference (this is one of the prime reason as to why despite being subjected to so many attacks, invasions and slavery, the Islamists and missionaries could not convert majority of the Indians). Though Indian Muslims have changed their religion, their cultural values and mindset remain rooted to this pious land.

I have a feeling that the last nail in the Islamists’ agenda of Ghazwa-e-Hind would be the annihilation of Pakistan in its present form as that is the powerhouse of their ideological win. If they can carve out Pakistan and Bangladesh from “Akhand Bharat” then they still have hope to continue fighting despite strong Hindutva governments taking over the reins in different parts of India. So if and when Narendra Modi or any other leader, dismantles Pakistan, it will be a fatal blow to the Islamists’ agenda and would break their back into submission.

But for that to happen, we need to be vigilant and assertive in our commitment towards Hindutva. We cannot take our foot off the paddle. If we keep at it, we can be sure of a constant supply of leaders like Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath, Himanta Biswa Sharma, Tejaswi Surya because in a democracy, we get the leaders we deserve because ultimately they are chosen by the people.

Remember the golden saying “First they ignore you, then they fight you and then you win”. Hindutva forces had been ignored for over a century; we have entered the 2nd phase of fighting now, wherein you see constant battles being fought on a daily basis on some issue or the other; and if we keep on this path, we will surely emerge the winner. We have to because Hindutva is the only force which can wipe out this menace of Islamist terror and violence.

Grand Prix after traffic signals?

0

Day by day, the concept of patience is vast vanishing, be it at home or on the street or in market places, etc. and one might go to whichever city or town in India, the absence of patience and prevalence of discomfort particularly in traffic signals is more rampant in our country than anywhere else in the world. Drivers of vehicles will wait patiently for long with no other option during red light and once the signal becomes green, a sort of great impatience crops up when repeated honking from behind is heard even if one’s vehicle gets delayed in starting even by fraction of a second. Nowadays, due to ‘Red light on, Engine Off’ slogan, many people switch off their engine during traffic signals and rightly so in order to save on fuel and help in reducing pollution level, but there are some impatient lots behind, who do not understand the same and keep honking even if there is little delay in driving ahead the vehicle once traffic signal becomes green.

The phenomenon of ‘Red light on, Engine off’ is a good one indeed, in the sense that there are lakhs of vehicles plying on Delhi roads and it makes sense that one put off the vehicle’s engine during traffic signal being red which saves not only on one’s fuel consumption but even helps in one’s savings owing to sky-rocketing prices of fuel nowadays as also help in reduction of pollution to a much greater level and which is what is also the aim of such step undertaken by the authorities. It is rather strange that during heavy traffic or resultant traffic jam or due to some VIP movement or long red signals, one will wait patiently but the moment, the traffic light is green, some kind of a monster enters the grey matters of drivers making them behave in a crazy manner by honking continuously. Once the traffic signal is green, the cars behind pass-by as if they are on some racing events like Formula One Indian Grand Prix or the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix or the Daytona 500 racing car event.

It seems the patience level is almost reduced to zero nowadays amongst the drivers of vehicles, be it commercial car drivers or private car owners or for that matter any kind of vehicles. One needs to apply common sense that even if one drives too fast from one traffic signal there are high chances that they might meet the same slow drivers in the next signal, then what is the purpose of racing their vehicles from one traffic light to another? In many of the traffic signals when red light is On, it is clearly written ‘relax’, but where is that relaxing part, instead the drivers of vehicles are more charged during such signals than taking the traffic signals in a relaxing manner.  One needs to respect the signals, after all one needs to give time for the other three traffic plying on other directions as well in a normal crossing. There is almost growing impatience among the drivers of vehicles particularly in big cities and metropolitans, be it a cab driver or a private owner of a vehicle. What is the purpose of honking one’s own vehicle when it leads only to noise pollution, downing of one’s own vehicle’s battery and more importantly, when it reflects on one’s own irritation or frustration level which becomes rather public.   No one bothers for other’s honking and it may be mentioned that no one on the road is there just for relaxing or time pass and everyone is going somewhere just on some purpose.

This point needs to be understood by one and all. Neither anyone will intentionally delay the other nor does it really serve any purpose, when no one knows another in a traffic. Similar is the sense of impatience found among most of the two wheeler riders. They just make their way between vehicles and many a times even hit the other car leading to dent or scratch and resultant scuffle. If they do not find way between the cars, they just ride over the pedestrian platform. This kind of behaviour cannot be found in any other countries. Haste makes waste. If this point is understood by one and all, the better for society and once this is understood, then our country can also become horn-free like many other advanced countries where one seldom hears the sound of a vehicle honking.

This honking phenomenon is rather irritating to say the least and it only increases one’s blood pressure and irritation level than it does any good for any side of the party driving on roads. So, it is high time a thought is given to this so-called small issue but which has rather larger implications, calling on not only one’s health issue but even leads to unnecessary and avoidable scuffle. Come summer months and as the day time temperature shoots up, so does we see enormous increase in number of cases of road rage every year.  It is time we give some thought to this burning issue.

‘The Kashmir Files’ & the JNU Professor

The character Radhika Menon in the movie The Kashmir Files is real representation of Professor Nivedita Menon of JNU. Nivedita Menon has been a prominent member of Tukde Tukde Gang and instigated her students to fight for freedom of Kashmir. In the movie she is seen to sing the Islamic song Hum Dekhenge of Pakistani poet Fiaz Ahmad Faiz. The infamous Islamic song includes, inter alia, lines like:

Jab arz-e-khuda ke kaabe se, sab boot uthwaaey jaayebge,

Hum ahl-elsafaa mardood-e-haram, Masnad pe bithaaey jaayenge

These lines in English mean, “When from the abode of Khuda’s Kaaba, all idols will be removed, then we the faithful, who are debarred from sacred place will be placed in the royal seat.”

There are at least two more sets of such lines, which are exclusive in content and spirit as per the teachings of Islam. One has to search in Google tenaciously to get the complete lyrics of the song with English translation.

The anti-idolatry message of the song and its other such contents do not bother the JNU professor Nivedita Menon. Why she and likes of her can’t find xenophobia of Islam ingrained in that song? There is a reason to make this point.

If the said anti-Hindu lines of the song are allegorical, so do the lines of our National Song Vande Mataram. But Indian Muslims refuse to sing Vande Mataram for being anti-Islam. Even in the Madrasas of India, our National Anthem is not sung for being against the belief of Islam. And likes of Nivedita Menon again support Indian Muslim in such situations.

The bottom line is Nivedita Menon instigates her leftist and secular Hindu students to encourage the Indian Muslims to practice heads I win, tails you lose principle. We have such an evil Professor in JNU.

If someone wants to have some more insight into the brain of this evil woman, the YouTube video link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZFCMTSbsRo) can be visited. In the video, Nivedita Menon is seen to address a small closed group, probably of her students. She is calling the Hindu society as most violent in the world. But she does not give historical examples of violence in Hindu society and it’s the national and international ramifications.

In the video, Nivedita Menon is seen bubbling with excitement, frothing at the corners of her mouth with aggression. If Hindu society were so violent, how can it exist for thousands of years? Even eight hundred years of brutal Islamic aggression fails to obliterate the Hindu society. Nivedita Menon is a big time liar, who has been peddling her anti-Hindu and anti-India propaganda only. She is less of a Professor and more of an evil, violent and disruptive Communist woman.

Comedy vs. reality

0

In this world full of stress, tension and ever increasing crime rates, the role played by comedians with artificial laughs and so-called merry-making for the purpose of earning bread and butter and the same being relayed in the idiot box itself seems debatable. Every age in a person’s life has its own accompanying tension in nowadays world. Children are stressed with their ever increasing syllabus, bulky study materials, face various new mode of examinations in this competitive world and more importantly in this pandemic period various changes in education pattern itself with sometimes offline, sometimes online, sometimes hybrid format of teaching and studying has increased to the already existing pressure on students.

Working people have their own stress, be it on road during heavy traffic jam every day or be it stress related to reaching their respective place of work on time and the repetition of stress during evening hours while returning home. Retired people have their own stress of how to pass time and get freedom from the monotonous and boring life. Nowadays, WhatsApp has become a very good partner for one’s life from start of the day till the time one retires in bed, no Saturday, no Sunday or any holidays for WhatsApp. When almost every being is filled with so much stress, the so-called comedy makers in various channels in television and internet seem only to increase the stress instead of relieving one from one’s stress. About the satirical style of laughing that follows any kind of so-called comedies being made viral in social media, the less said the better. That sound of giggle itself is annoying at times when someone is in stress and instead of being a stress reliever adds to the strain.

The comedians’ on-screen behaviour is clearly visible as purely artificial one with no relevance whatsoever. At times there are hardly any comedy in the role they play and the chuckle and clapping accompanying their act is all too artificially made and a pre-recorded sound effect of such laughter is not worth watching forget getting some delight. What purpose do these comedy players serve in the real world, except helping themselves in making their own both end meet. In this busy world, there may be very less audience who may be watching or more so, even liking such useless and good for nothing shows. One comes home after struggling finding ways through the ever increasing heavy traffic every day and is obviously tired that one lands in bed soon after dinner and gets ready for similar next day struggle and hardly anyone will enjoy such comedies in television.

Come weekend and most of us are already busy and preoccupied with many of the domestic chorus which is required to be done only during the week’s end.  There are many viewers who would watch such comedy shows just for name sake and the purpose of watching such shows is just in order to avoid people whereas their own thinking will be somewhere else. It is just a mode of avoiding the other people – be it at home or outside in public place. Even on the streets, it is common to find people busy with their mobile phone and get glued to WhatsApp particularly when they see some of their known people coming from the opposition direction and it is one of the best option available nowadays to avoid someone with whom one does not want to correspond. Coming back to the fake comedy episodes, it may be mentioned that such irritating programs should be discarded as it plays its role only in adding to the ever increasing stress in human life nowadays as it is grossly different from the real world and to say or think that by watching such comedy shows one might find relief may be very rare and the majority will feel only irritated by hearing such artificial hoots and see make-up glamour.

Even the various so-called or believed comedies played in Tik-Tok or any other comedy strips available in various social media sites, etc. seems rather cheap and nauseating, particularly the sound of chortle that suffixes such comedy acts and are rather disturbing if played in public places and which even sometime leads to scuffle between people in public places, as not everyone is in mood of hearing or seeing comedy shows and as said before most of us are already pressurized with our own day to day tautness and if someone plays such irritant thing in public place it leads to avoidable fight. Not out of place to mention that it is well known fact that nobody enjoys the life in full without one’s spouse, at the same time maximum comedies are also made on the spouses only which is but a harsh truth. One enjoys such comedies if at all only till the time one’s health is fit and is getting timely food prepared and served by spouse. Once the other half gets sick, forget watching comedy serials.

It is high time such comedy shows are stopped from being relayed and instead the time is utilised in a more fruitful manner. For that matter, even the episodes of channels like Animal Planet, National Geographic, etc. are more interesting than to watch the useless comedy shows with its accompanying cartoon-like characters. There are many other stress boosters such as watching the real comedy episodes such as Tom and Jerry, Charlie Chaplin and many other such slapsticks which are sober and silent and in a way much better than the irritating comedies with their accompanying blasts of laughs, etc. played by the so-called comedy players who think that they are doing a very good role in playing funny characters.

Organisation of Islamic Countries: Bulldozing geopolitics with religion

Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) meeting of 57 countries at Islamabad denouncing India for abrogation of Article 370 in erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state (now UT), is uncalled for. However, considering it being hosted by Pakistan, it was expected. To add salt to the Pakistan’s wound is the precarious situation Imran Khan is in. This may be his last international meet to attend before he is evicted from his office.

As per Wikipedia, OIC states that it is “the collective voice of the Muslim world” and works to “safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony”.

This statement sounds credulous. OIC believes in collective bargaining power of Islamic countries to shove their agenda in the world affairs and geopolitics. It forgets to recognize that apart from the religion nothing is common amongst them. All OIC members are driven by their respective regional and global aspirations and some OIC members itself may come as roadblocks against each other. How can there be one common interest of all Islamic countries. Had that been true, the Arab world would have been more peaceful, not most unstable, and volatile. The fact is that there are cordial bilateral relations between few OIC countries with non OIC countries. India has close diplomatic, military, and economic relations with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Palestine and many more. The irony is that OIC members fight more amongst themselves than with the outside countries. Iran – Iraq, Iran – Saudi Arabia & UAE, Yemen – Saudi Arabia & UAE, Syria & Libya.

Why do you need to have OIC when these countries (individually) are strong oil rich countries? Why to have an organisation of countries based on religion? In fact, OIC is a religious organisation with political motives. There is no other organisation of countries based on religion, rather they are based on region. Such organisations of different countries should be formed largely to address the geopolitical interests and contingencies and not just religion. I am sure that OIC has failed as an organisation to contain conflicts amongst different Islamic countries, forget uplifting or developing any. Had OIC been effective, USA would not have always been present in the MENA region.

On 15 Mar 2022, Pakistan introduced a resolution in UNGA to observe 15 March as International Day to Combat Islamophobia, which got adopted by consensus at UNGA. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan during the OIC summit in Islamabad blamed the OIC for not doing enough against Islamophobia. This is ridiculous. Fighting Islamophobia rests on the OIC countries and not with the world. OIC cannot force the world to see green with red glasses. It is about changing self than the world. World will see through its own lenses. How can OIC or any Islamic country whose very foundation is based on Islam wants to be considered inclusive by the world? All these countries are Islamic Republics where other religions are either not allowed or restricted in practice. It is only natural for the world to shun relations with these countries or keep the minimum required trade and diplomatic relations.

Surprisingly, Imran Khan lauded Indian Foreign Policy, for it being citizens cantered. a part of Quad and importing crude from Russia at the same time. This is testimony to the fact that the countries trade and transact because of bilateral needs, and not due to religious affinity. For the countries their national interests are key to their foreign policies. Had that not been true, NATO, ASEAN, CIS, Quad, Commonwealth, BRICS and most paradoxically SAARC & SCO (both India and Pakistan are members) wouldn’t have existed.

OIC needs to recognize that there are varied elements in geopolitics, like people, power, culture, natural resources, economic dependence, geographical location & political relations between nations. All elements are woven together to be called as national interest, superseding all other elements. With OIC focusing on only religion as a cementing factor between the Muslim nations, it fails to achieve its objectives. In a way it is more of a limiting factor in geopolitics than a facilitative one. The world sees OIC as a religion based bulldozing force with a restricted vision of the world.

M-factor and Uttar Pradesh election 2022

Muslim League demanded for partition of India only because Muslims were in ‘minority’ in British India. Had they been in majority, they would not have demanded Pakistan. Rather they would have loved to rule over minority Hindus and persecute and convert them as they have been doing in Pakistan after August 1947. For Congress Party, 99 percent of British Indian Muslims, before August 1947, became thorn in the side. Those Muslims were such a ‘type of minority’ that they could force Congress Party to accept the partition of British India for creation of Islamic Pakistan for Muslims.

But short-sighted Congress Party did the original sin in the newly independent India by accepting the Muslims as ‘minority’ again. Following independence, Gandhi and Nehru became extra sensitive about the safety, care and rights of minority Muslims in independent India, who did not migrate to Pakistan for which they fought so violently. So, Pakistan was created for the Muslims, but ‘Muslim minority thorn’ remained in the side of India.

The honeymoon of Indian Muslims continued with Congress for decades as the former stood solidly behind the Congress as its committed voters. This served two purposes. Firstly, Congress could be sure of its Muslim vote bank and secondly the Muslims could gradually start asserting as ‘minority’ in Indian politics. Subsequently, the Muslims left Congress and aligned with so-called secular regional political parties like SP, BSP, RJD, and TMC.

Congress and all the so-called secular regional political parties kept on dividing Hindu voters on caste line. Thus with the increase in proportion of Muslim population over the decades, they became a deciding factor in Indian elections. Congress first, and all the so-called secular regional political parties later, started licking the boots of Indian Muslims. Unfortunately, these boot licking exercises became the epitome of ‘Indian secular politics’.

Then BJP entered into Indian politics in a big way in 2014 and all hell of secular politics broke loose. The Left-Liberal-Islamist cabal of India suddenly discovered the Hindu communal politics of BJP. The cabal conveniently forgot that it was Congress and so-called secular regional political parties, who were neck-deep in Muslim oriented communal politics all along. The cabal tried to hide their Muslim oriented communal politics by constantly blaming BJP for Hindu communal politics.

It is well known that 99 percent of Indian Muslims does not vote for BJP and never will they. Thanks to the anti-BJP propaganda of Left-Liberal-Islamist cabal. BJP accepted this fact and coined the tag line “Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikash, Sab Ka Biswas”. Though BJP has been trying to remain neutral in its developmental activities, Muslim psyche against BJP remains unchanged. Thus the said tag line is used by BJP for national and international consumption.

In the recently concluded Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, BJP came back to power by crushing anti-incumbency factor. The Left-Liberal-Islamist cabal had something else in its mind. It swung into the electoral field of UP about one month prior to election with men and money. The cabal chose SP (Samajwadi Party) to boost it up with all Muslim votes, which was about 20 percent in the state. The cabal made pro-SP hype in the media through extensive and intensive propaganda. The cabal members shouted that BJP would be ousted from power by SP. Muslims of the state also voted for SP en-block. But still SP lost the election.

Out of total 403 Assembly seats, ‘BJP plus’ won the election with 274 seats and 45 percent of vote share, which was comprised of Hindu votes mainly and a small proportion of Muslim votes. The ‘SP plus’ won 124 seats with 36 percent of vote share which, in all probability, was comprised of 18 percent Muslim and 18 percent Hindu votes. While ‘SP plus’ gained 72 seats ‘BJP plus’ lost 48 seats vis-à-vis last election results of 2017. SP’s gain came at the expense of BJP, Congress and BSP mainly. In 2022 election Congress and BSP were pushed to almost oblivion in UP. While ‘SP plus’ gave a determined fight and made some dent into BJP seat numbers, it failed to reach the magic figure of 202 seats by a long gap of 78 seats.

The positive points those helped BJP were good governance, improved law and order situation, better women’s safety, infrastructural developments, supporting poor people of the state with free ration during Covid19 pandemic, smooth and unbiased implementation of all socio-economic schemes, lack of corruption, running of bulldozer on land grabber criminals and starting of the construction of Ram Mandir etc.. Though all those positive things could not attract Muslim votes in BJP’s favor, division of Hindu votes was minimal and a large chunk of Hindu votes, cutting across caste lines, went in favor of BJP.

SP has been publicly known as a party of ‘M’ and ‘Y’, meaning Muslims and Yadavs. Even in 2022 election also, SP did not shy away from this identity. The party earned a very bad name during its rule from 2012 to 2017 in the state. It was labeled as ‘Goonda Raj’ of M-Y party by the people of the state. This was a main negative point against SP. The Dalit leader and BSP supremo Ms Mayawati, in post poll press brief, had said that BSP did miserably as Muslim voters did not support the Dalits. So, obsession with Muslim votes in UP continued to persist even after election.

The UP election results 2022 has proved that if Hindu votes get consolidated in favor of BJP, then with all Muslim votes no other political party can come to power in the state. The results of UP election 2022 also showed that Hindus could resist division of voters on caste lines and stand unitedly behind BJP. It is for the second term that the Muslims of UP have remained away from the political power center of the state. If they want to continue like this, it is their choice. The more non-BJP parties will align with Muslims, stronger BJP will be. If non-BJP parties can’t see the writing on the wall, it too is their choice.
