Will Russia invade Moldova after Ukraine?

IS MOLDOVA NEXT FOR PUTIN?

Moldova, a post-soviet union nation is one of the struggling and poorest nations in Europe. Presence of troops in Odesa, Ukraine which is just 56km from Moldova & surfacing of a video of Alexander Lukashenko (President of Belarus), a close ally of Moscow in which he was seen explaining a map to the troops marked with arrows suggesting planned Russian advance in Moldova has raised tensions.

Moldova’s Constitution calls for neutrality and bars the nation from joining either US-led NATO or Russia-led CSTO (Central security treaty organization). Moldova has already experienced a civil war in which Transnistria (Pro-Russian breakaway region) became independent. However, it is yet to be recognized as a Sovereign state.

Current Situation in Moldova

Moldova, a 2.6 million population nation has been flooded by refugees past weeks amid the Russian invasion. Despite having a loose economy where 27% of the workforce lives abroad or desires to & 16% of GDP coming from remittances it welcomed more than 270,000 refugees. The rhetoric of neutrality has left the nation’s defense crippled with only 0.4% of GDP spent on it. Moldova army is called ‘Lilliputians’ as it has only 8000 Soldiers and 18000 police.

Currently, Information War is going on in the nation, masterminded by Russia to discourage people from reaching out to Ukrainian refugees and to create inner differences within the nation. On March 3rd, 2022 Moldova have applied for fast-track EU membership which could further create friction and could further provoke Putin.

Transnistria-Neutral over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine?

Transnistria, a pro-Russian region where Lenin’s statue still ends in its capital Tiraspol is an ethnically diverse region with the presence of Ukrainians, Russians, and Moldovans in almost equal proportion. Despite Russian Influence and the presence of 1300 Russian troops in the region, Krasnoselsky (President of Transnistria) has taken a neutral stand.

The presence of Soviet-era arsenal including 22,000 tonnes of ammunition in a decommissioned arms depot in the village of Covasna, region elites calling of Russian troops as peacekeepers & its application for recognition as a state just after Moldova applied for EU have created ambiguity over its real stand. Moldovans feared that this pro-Russian region could be used by Russia to destabilize and invade their nation.

Transnistria-Linkage with Ukraine

Ukrainian is one of Transnistria’s three official languages and its main university is also named after Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. Multiple statues of Ukrainian heroes appear in the region also Taras appears on 50-ruble notes used in Transnistrian. Krasnoselsky being ethnic Ukrainian is seen as the reason for its neutral position and its soft corner for Ukraine.

The Moldovan breakaway region is also reliant on Ukraine economically as it provides the region access to foreign markets. Ukraine is the major trading partner of the region. It exports more goods to Ukraine than Russia. This presence of cultural, social, and economic linkage of the region with Ukraine is seen as a deterrence to its open support of Russia’s actions. However, there is little doubt that most people in the region hope of Russia annexing Transnistria as it will make the region economically independent & provide it with permanent security architecture.

Gagauz Separatism in Moldova

Gaguzas are ethnic Turkic-speaking living in Moldova, Gagauzia is an autonomous territorial unit in Moldova. These ethnic Turks were Russified during the 19th & 20th centuries. Now, the Russian-speaking Gaguzas call for greater control of Moscow over Moldova as they fear erosion of their culture. Fear of Gagauzia being integrated into ‘Greater Romania’ further triggers support for Russia. This separatism further creates risk for Moldova as Moscow could use it as context to destabilize and invade the nation as done in Ukraine.

Benefits and Risks for Russia in Possible Invasion of Moldova?

Benefits:

1. Blocks Eastward Expansion of Nato & Western Influence: With political or military control of Moldova Putin will be successful in his main agenda of roadblocking Nato’s expansion. Recent visits of US secretary of state ‘Antony Blinken’ would have further pushed the possibility of Moldovan invasion to counter ‘western influence eastward flow’. Moldova’s push for membership of the EU and possible drift towards the west could be permanently blocked with invasion.

2. Permanent Blockade to Ambition of ‘Greater Romania’: Romania push for Moldova to join Euro-Atlantic structures and consideration of full integration for creation of ‘Greater Romania’. The ambition came alive amid 40% of Moldovans holding Romanian passports and since 1994 more than 8 lakh Moldovans have become Romanians. Romania being a Nato member, its ambition of greater Romania is a greater threat for Russia as it will lead to the permanent drift of Moldova from Moscow’s soft control.

Risks Involved:

1. Anti-Russian Sentiments: Russian invasion of Moldova will further lead to the loss of its historical influence, prestige, and soft power in post soviet union states. Already, anti-Russian sentiments are at their peak amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine which will be a major drawback for long-term strategic interests.

2. Inner Conflict: Invasion and integration of nation-states in Russia will lead to Internal conflicts due to the presence of multiple ethnicities and people being already tasted the flavor of ‘Complete Independence’ and Ethnic nationalism.

3. European Security: Russian invasion of Ukraine and its sour relations with Nato could once again divide the European region into ‘East & West Europe’ which will be a major threat not only to globalism and European Security architecture but also to ‘Peaceful world order’.

4. Western Sanctions: Ukrainian Invasion has already been met with fierce sanctions from the west which has led to Russian economic breakdown and 40% ruble devaluation. It has skyrocketed inflation in Russia to 9.15% and according to experts, it might go up to 20%. If Putin continues with his plan it might lead to the complete economic devastation of Russia which will further push Moscow in the lap of China.

SUMMARY:

Russia’s Invasion of Moldova does not seem inevitable provided diplomatic negotiations between Nato and Russia occur. Transnistria and Gagauzs Separatism have already weakened Moldova’s sovereignty and it is only a matter of time for Russia to gain its military control. If Russia’s calculation provides a positive tradeoff between benefits and risks over the Moldova invasion world could expect it sooner.

Kashmir beyond The Kashmir Files

These days the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has become the most talked-about film on social media and elsewhere. The film which unexpectedly got huge attention among the masses has once again brought Kashmir into the limelight. The film which is based on the genocide and exodus of native Kashmiri Hindus or generally known as ‘Pandits’ has opened the eyes of the common man of the country, who was kept in dark about the bloody events that took place in the late 1980s and 1990s. Further due to social media, the dark past of Hindu genocide in the state has made the awakening of Hindus across all ethnicities and castes throughout the world.

The film is not an ordinary film but a cinematic experience that with a simple storyline exposes the state of the Indian establishment and its failure to stop the brutal massacre of native Hindus of Kashmir. Not just the failure of the state but also the true face of Islamic radicalism and terrorism in its brutal form. The film is probably the only film of the Indian film industry which is not at all politically correct and shows the hardcore truth of the genocide of minority Hindus in Muslim majority Kashmir.

The narrative of Kashmiris being oppressed by the Indian state has also been shattered around the globe. The narrative that has been in the mainstream talks about Kashmiri Muslims being oppressed, going through persecution by the Indian government for the last 70 years. It fails to tell the plight of native Hindus who have been residing in Kashmir for more than five thousand years. The narrative created by the film clears the idea of the Kashmir conflict and why the region has been under disturbance for decades.

War of Narratives

The Kashmir Files has done what the Indian government has failed to do for the last seven decades. Kashmir has always been portrayed as a Muslim state under the control of Hindu majority India and its real control lies with neighboring Muslim majority Pakistan. The question is always put who has a greater claim on Kashmir, India, or Pakistan? Even some talk about letting Kashmiris decide their fate and both the countries should leave them alone. Mind you when it is talked about ‘Kashmiris’, it is generally assumed as the Muslim population of the state.

The film now has put an alternate narrative of the glorious past of Kashmir and the contribution of Kashmir in many fields. It talks about Kashmir being a hundred percent Hindu before the arrival of Islamic tyrants in the valley somewhere in the 14th century and the subsequent conversion by Sufis masquerading as peace lovers and tolerant. Soon the same Sufis and converted bodies started persecuting the Pandits and even forcing them to leave the land to make it more pious under Islamic rule.

Viewing Kashmir Conflict

To understand the Kashmir conflict, we have to look at Kashmir from a historical point and when we say historical point, we mean it by looking at the history of Kashmir from the beginning of its existence. The name Kashmir comes from a Hindu sage called Kashyap and Kashmir’s greatest leader is considered to be Hindu King Lalitaditya who once ruled the Indian subcontinent. Kashmir is also known for contributing to arts and culture especially Natyashastra on which modern films and series are based. The popular Panchatantra which is a collection of animal fables was written centuries ago in Kashmir.

Today, art, culture, films do not exist anywhere. For instance, the cinema halls are consistently attacked by Islamic hardliners. Kashmir which is also known as the cradle of civilization is now a death valley where all form of its own human inventions is looked down upon. Its past is always ignored by intellectuals who often have opinions on the Indian rule of Kashmir, talking everything under the cloud but its Hindu past. The Indian liberals have written dozens of books and hundreds of columns explaining ‘Kashmiriyat’ without even considering the native Hindu population and rich past of Kashmir.

The answer to the question of conflict between India and Pakistan is that historically and culturally, Kashmir is an integral part of India. India is known for introducing the world to Yoga, Kashmir is the land of Shiva which is worshipped across India which itself proves why Kashmir is an integral part of India. Just because of the arrival of a foreign religion and subsequent conversion of masses does not change the fact that Kashmir is a Hindu land. The body of converts cannot be allowed to decide their fate without even considering their own past and also ignoring the opinions of native Hindus and other minorities – the real and original inhabitants of the land.

Why Kashmir Files?

‘Kisi ne suna bhi toh nahin’

The Kashmiri character laments when asked why Kashmiri Pandits haven’t told their side of the story. True, we as a nation did turn deaf to their heart wrenching tales of persecution. For thirty two long years we did try to white wash the ugly truth staring in our faces at the expense of Kashmiri Pandits, to keep the facade of our being secular and democratic nation going. The horror tales did keep trickling in and we read them with our desensitised minds, protecting our intellect by the armour of aloofness. It may have happened but it happened at some distant place to few unrelated people, we told ourselves. If it happened it did for so and so reason we clinically justified.

Kashmiri Pandits were cowards to run away and not stand up in the face of terrorism, we judged. It takes two hands to clap and probably they were equally at fault we fell for the false equivalence narrative. Why dredge the past and spoil the communal bonhomie of the present, we soothed the questioning brows. ‘Terrorism has no religion‘ we lied to ourselves and dug our heads in the mud. We did hundred things to escape one simple truth. The ugly truth of Kashmiri Hindu genocide! It takes courage and sensitivity of Vivek Agnihotri to tell the brutal truth to us in a place where we can no longer hide from it, on the silver screen of our neighborhood theatres. And unlike few earlier pathetic attempts of apologetic, secular directors particularly Vidhu Vinod Chopra of Mission Kashmir and Shikara fame/ defame, Vivek Agnihotri did justice to Kashmiri Hindus. The movie may not be a masterpiece and may have directorial, casting, technical, special effects glitches but the plain and honest truth and sincerity of the film maker transcend the shortcomings and we watch with eyes brimming with tears. In the course of about three hours we unlearn what we were told for thirty years. We stand educated on number of facts

1. What happened in 1990 wasn’t just seventh exodus of Kashmiri Pandits it was a GENOCIDE

2. It’s wrong to alienate ourselves by thinking that it happened to some community called Kashmiri Pandits. It happened to Kashmiri Hindus , in continuation to their persecution since several centuries starting from tyrant like Sikander Butshikan in fourteenth century

3. It happened in 1990, in a democratic, secular country and no one was able to stop it. Government, administration, police, army, judiciary etc every organisation was in place and working and still helpless or lacking the will to stop the genocide. So there goes the false sense of security we lull ourselves into.

4. As we watch we realise it’s happening now too in various parts of the country and we are still sleeping to the tunes of the same lullabies. We have Makhan Lal Bindroo, a seventy year old chemist killed in Srinagar as recent as Oct 2021. We have unpleasant news trickling of various wrong doings in places like Bengal but we choose to ignore it. We see Hindus leaving town like Kairana in Uttar Pradesh and we witness the tyrant behind it winning the recent elections even from the prison. We stay silent to such evil repercussions of democracy where just numbers matter. We realise that any place in our country has the potential of becoming another Kashmir. It’s just a matter of time and intent. As we realise it, it’s harder for us to alienate ourselves from the horrors that we see Kashmiri Pandits going through on the silver screen. It can be us! And yes, victims of terrorism have religion too!

5. We become acutely aware of the cruelty and injustice done to the victims when politicians, media, intellectuals and society in general normalises such acts of terrorism by whitewashing, diluting and ignoring them and hobnobbing with the perpetrators of these crimes in the guise of negotiating for peace. The memories of photographs of Yaseen Malik with PM, CM and likes of Arundhati Roy flashes in our minds and we recognise the sinister hypocrisy behind it all.

The tag of former terrorist besides their names disturb us. It was so easy for them to get this tag. When did they receive punishment for their crimes even those they confessed themselves without remorse or regret. Hence it is in 2020 we find Yasin Malik getting charged with killing four unarmed Air force officials in 1990. It takes thirty years to send him to Tihar jail and now too, he is awaiting trial for his crime! In fact J&K government spent crores of rupees in giving security to separatist leaders for years. The self confessed killer of Hindus, Bitta Karate still roams free in Kashmir.

6. We learn that it’s dangerous to keep our present generation ignorant of past however unpleasant. It gives space to the false narratives to settle in and repeat the history in the future. And yes, it’s the dangerous war of narratives and the victim may get depicted as tyrant or even used as a tool by the tyrants.

7. Yes, it’s wrong to tell lies but even worse to hide the truth.

Thanks Mr Vivek Agnihotri to make us learn and unlearn many things in these three hours. Amidst all the brutality, torture and gory killings unfolding on the screen the most terrifying image that stayed with me was of the small child tapping the window of the car of an IAS officer with an Urdu newspaper in his hands and mouthing the slogan of Raliv, Galiv or Tshaliv (convert, die or leave) not as a human but like some kind of a robot programmed with numbing hate and then too without any expression of hate on his face. The robotic child symbolises the terrifying hopelessness for the future brainwashed with Jihad ideology.

Kashmir Files is a must see movie for number of reasons. The most compelling one is to realise how frail is the humanity claim we endorse and how easy it is to dehumanise and persecute fellow humans!

एक व्‍यवस्‍थागत षडयंत्र है हिजाब विवाद… ऐसे हुआ खुलासा

धर्मयुद्ध महाभारत के शान्ति पर्व का श्‍लोक ”अहिंसा परमो धर्मः, धर्म हिंसा तथैव च:” सदैव अधूरा बताया गया जबकि इसका अर्थ है- ”अहिंसा सबसे बड़ा धर्म है। परन्तु धर्म की रक्षा के लिए हिंसा भी वैसा ही धर्म है।” इस अधूरा बताए जाने के कारण ही हमें ना तो अपने धर्म की रक्षा के प्रति सावधान किया गया और ना ही आक्रांताओं की क्रूरता का प्रतिवाद करने के लिए जागरूक किया गया। इसी आधे अधूरेपन का परिणाम है कि हम प्रतिदिन देश के सामाजिक तानेबाने को तोड़ने और खासकर हिंदूविरोधी षडयंत्रों के रूप में देख रहे हैं। ऐसा ही एक और षडयंत्र है हिजाब विवाद।

हालांकि कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट ने फिलहाल ”स्कूल कॉलेज की तय यूनिफॉर्म का सख्ती से पालन करने और किसी तरह के धार्मिक पहनावे को स्कूल के भीतर मंजूरी नहीं देने वाले राज्य सरकार के आदेश को कायम रखा है और मुख्य न्यायाधीश जस्टिस ऋतुराज अवस्थी, जस्टिस कृष्ण एस दीक्षित एवं जस्टिस जेएम काजी की पीठ ने कहा, स्कूल-कॉलेजों को ड्रेस कोड तय करने का पूरा हक है इसलिए स्कूल प्रबंधन, प्रधानाचार्य और शिक्षक के खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक जांच की अर्जी भी खारिज़ की जाती है। पीठ ने कहा, सरकार के पास स्कूल-कॉलेजों में समानता, अखंडता और सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था को प्रभावित करने वाले पहनावे पर रोक लगाने का अधिकार है। ऐसे में शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में धार्मिक पहनावे पर रोक के आदेश को चुनौती देने वाली छात्राओं की याचिकाएं आधारहीन हैं। कोर्ट ने इसे भी खारिज़ कर दिया और का कि यह फैसला महिलाओं से उनकी स्वायत्तता या शिक्षा का अधिकार नहीं छीनता, क्योंकि वे कक्षा के बाहर अपनी पसंद का कोई भी वस्त्र पहन सकती हैं।

अब सामने लाती हूं वो तथ्‍य कि ऐसा क्‍यों हुआ-

इसे जिहाद की अगली किश्‍त कहा जा सकता है और जिस सोशल मीडिया को इन षडयंत्रकारियों ने अपना नकाब बनाया, अब वही इन्‍हें बेनकाब कर रहा है। शिक्षा संस्‍थानों में हिजाब पहनने की मांग तो इस षडयंत्र का एक पड़ाव मात्र है परंतु इनके भीतर अभी और कितना ज़हर भरा है, इसका अनुमान सहज ही लगाया जा सकता है।

सिलसिलेवार ढंग से देखिए कि किस तरह एक एक कदम इन्‍होंने बढ़ाया-

1. सितंबर 2021 की शुरुआत में कट्टरपंथी इस्लाम समूह पॉपुलर फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया (पीएफआई) की अनुषंगी संगठन कैंपस फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया (CFI) ने उडुपी सहित कॉलेजों में अपना सदस्यता अभियान शुरू किया।


2. ठीक एक महीने के बाद इसी अवधि में हिजाब प्रचार के लिए चुनी गई सभी लड़कियों ने ट्विटर पर अपने अकाउंट बनाए और हैशटैग कैंपेन में हिस्सा लेकर सीएफआई के एजेंडे को बढ़ावा देना शुरू किया।

3. बीबीसी को दिए इंटरव्‍यू में अपनइ सफाई देते हुए हिजाब के लिए अभियान चलाने वाली लड़कियों ने बताया कि वो सीएफआई की सदस्य नहीं है और हिजाब विवाद के बाद ही सीएफआई ने उनसे संपर्क किया जबकि इसके ठीक उलट उनकी ट्विटर टाइमलाइन पर ट्विटर अकाउंट बनाने के पहले दिन से ही सीएफआई का प्रचार शुरू हो गया था।

6. हिजाब प्रोपेगंडा को आगे बढ़ाने वाली लड़की मुस्‍कान ने 1 नवंबर 2021 को CFI द्वारा शुरू किए गए हैशटैग कैंपेन में हिस्सा लेने के लिए कॉपी-पेस्ट कर ट्वीट पोस्ट करना शुरू कर दिया। यह हैशटैग नई शिक्षा नीति के खिलाफ था।

8. बाबरी मस्जिद को लेकर अगला सीएफआई हैशटैग 8 नवंबर 2021 को शुरू किया गया था। जरा देखिए कि उन्होंने किस तरह एक जैसी भाषा का इस्तेमाल किया है। सीएफआई के अध्यक्ष ने भी इस कैंपेन में ट्वीट किए। आप भी देख सकते हैं इस ट्विटर कैंपेन को लेकर उनका पोस्टर

9. मौलाना अब्दुल कलाम आजाद को लेकर सीएफआई का अगला ट्विटर कैंपेन 11 नवंबर 2021 को आया।
10. यहां फिर से लड़कियां अपने हैशटैग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप या सीएफआई के टूलकिट का हिस्सा बनीं।
11. 19 नवंबर 2021 को वे फिर से CFI के हैशटैग कैंपेन का हिस्सा हैं। टूलकिट से कॉपी-पेस्ट की गई भाषा और शब्दों को देखें।

12. 21 नवंबर 2021 को CFI के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष ने लाउडस्‍पीकर्स द्वारा अज़ान पर रोक के खिलाफ ट्विटर कैंपेन चलाया, ये कहते हुए कि हमें ऐसा करने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता ।

13. देखिए कैसे इन लड़कियों ने व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप या सीएफआई के टूलकिट का अनुसरण करते हुए शब्द-दर-शब्द कॉपी-पेस्ट का काम किया था। हिंदुओं को नेपाल जाने की सलाह देते समय ‘संघी’ जैसे शब्दों को जानबूझकर लिखा गया।

 14. इतना ही नहीं हाथरस मामले में आरोपी तथा सीएए और दिल्ली दंगों के लिए मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग में करने वाला यूपी पुलिस द्वारा गिरफ्तार अपराधी रऊफ शरीफ का समर्थन करने के लिए 12 दिसंबर 2021 को सीएफआई का अगला हैशटैग शुरू किया गया और फिर वही कॉपी-पेस्ट एक जैसी भाषा का इस्तेमाल। इस पूरे अभियान से यह समझना मुश्‍किल नहीं कि कैसे संभावित सीएफआई और पीएफआई द्वारा इन लड़कियों को कट्टरपंथी बना या गया। इससे ये भी साबित होता है कि ये लड़कियां सीएफआई से बहुत अच्छी तरह जुड़ी हुई थीं और हिजाब प्रचार के बाद ही ”सीएफआई द्वारा स्‍वयं संपर्क किए जाने” का उनका दावा पूर्णत: गलत है।

15.  31 दिसंबर 2021 को इन लड़कियों और सीएफआई की राज्य समिति के सदस्य मसूद मन्ना ने एक कॉलेज परिसर से प्रचार शुरू क र दिया।
16.  फिर 1 जनवरी को वामपंथी और इस्लामिक वेब पोर्टल्स के एक प्रोपेगैंडा रिपोर्टर मीर फैसल ने ”The Wire” के लिए लड़कियों से एक इं टरव्यू लिया। इसके अगले ही दिन यानि कि 2 जनवरी 2022 को इन लड़कियों ने इस दुष्प्रचार को अगले स्तर तक ले जाने के लिए CFI के साथ एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की।
17.  इसके बाद 13 जनवरी 2022 को फिर से ”The Wire” ने इनका इंटरव्‍यू किया।
18.  इस तरह लगातार अपना काम करते हुए 19 जनवरी 2022 को वामपंथी छात्र और वामपंथी टीवी चैनल NDTV की खबरों में आ गए।
19. 20 जनवरी 2022 को ”The Wire” के लिए लिखने वाली एक पत्रकार राबिया शिरीन ने इसे और आगे बढ़ाया।
और इसतरह यह मामला आखिरकार वायरल हो गया, तो आईपीएसएमएफ द्वारा वित्त पोषित मीडिया सहित सभी वामपंथी प्रचारक पत्रकार अपनी भूमिका बारी बारी से निभाने लगे।

20. ट्विटर पर पूरी बिसात बिछाने के बाद फिर बारी आई इसे कोर्ट में लड़ने की, जिसकी जिम्‍मेदारी कांग्रेस के वकील यूपी में कांग्रेस लीगल कमेटी के अध्यक्ष देवदत्त कामत और कांग्रेस शासन में एडवोकेट जनरल रह चुके रविवर्मा कुमार ने संभाली और हिजाब को सिखों की पगड़ी से जोड़ते हुए इसे संवैधानिक अधिकार बताया।

21. कोर्ट के बाद ज़मीन इसे उडुपी के कॉलेज कैंपस में चार प्रोफेशनल कैमरा मैन्स के साथ छात्रा ‘मुस्‍कान‘ उतरी वरना ज़रा सोचिए कि नंगे पैर स्कूटी चलाते हुए अंदर आना और अल्लाह हू अकबर बोलना, इसे चार कैमरों द्वारा कवर करना , यह सब पूर्व नियोजित था। यदि नहीं था तो स्कूटी के अंदर आते ही कैसे रिकॉर्डिंग शुरू हो गई? कैमरे में लड़की का एक एक फ्रेम लिया जा रहा था। कैमरे वाले व्यवसायिक तरीके से भाग भाग कर शूटिंग कर रहे थे।

पिछले 3 महीने से इसकी योजना बनाई जा रही थी। इतना ही नहीं जो हिन्दू युवा #जयश्रीराम के नारे लगाकर लड़की को हूट कर रहे थे, वह भी मुस्लिम निकले, मीडिया में इसे हिंदुओ की भीड़ कहा गया, जो भगवा पहन कर जय श्रीराम के नारे लगा रहे थे।

अब यह मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट गया है, वह इस पर क्‍या रुख अपनाता है, कुछ नहीं कहा जा सकता परंतु इतना अवश्‍य है कि एक व्‍यवस्‍थागम तरीके से चलाए जा रहे प्रोपेगंडा की परतें उधड़ने तो लगी ही हैं। लोगों को समझ आ रहा है कि आखिर हर दूसरे-तीसरे महीने होने वाले ऐसे बवाल के पीछे इस्‍लामिक ताकतें और कांग्रेस की उपस्‍थिति निश्‍चित होता है, ये गठजोड़ देश के लिए बड़ा भयानक हो चला है।

इस संदर्भ में चाणक्‍यनीति का एक श्‍लोक है-

अनुलोमेन बलिनं प्रतिलोमेन दुर्जनम्।
आत्मतुल्यबलं शत्रु: विनयेन बलेन वा।।

जिसमें आचार्य चाणक्य कहते हैं कि मनुष्य को अपने शत्रु के बारे में पता होना बहुत जरूरी है. क्योंकि शत्रु कमजोर है या बलशाली इसका पता होने पर ही उसके खिलाफ नीति बनाई जा सकती है. चाणक्य कहते हैं कि अगर दुश्मन आपसे ज्यादा शक्तिशाली है तो उसे हराने के लिए व्यक्ति को उसके अनुकूल आचरण करना चाहिए. वहीं, अगर दुश्मन का स्वभाव दुष्ट है वो छल करने वाला है तो उसे हराने के लिए उसके विरूद्ध यानी उसके विपरीत आचरण करना चाहिए…तो देखते हैं इस दुष्‍प्रचारक प्रवृत्‍ति से सरकार कैसे निपटेगी।

बंगाल में हिंदुत्व की आवाज बुलंद करने, हिन्दू देवी देवताओं की तस्वीरे बनाना एक हिन्दू परिवार को भारी पड़ा। 18 मार्च को @OfficialTeam_S टीम ने बंगाल की हिन्दू रंजीता की वीडियो शेयर करते हुए लिखा “पश्चिम बंगाल में गरीब हिंदू परिवार को #TMC के गुंडों ने परेशान कर बंगाल से पलायन करने पर मजबूर कर दिया! क्या उनका दोष हिंदू होना है?
योगी आदित्यनाथ जी परिवार की आर्थिक सहायता करें निवेदन हैं।”

बंगाल में रंजीता जो कि हिन्दू परिवार से आती है हिन्दू देवी देवताओं की व अन्य तस्वीरे बनाती थी एक दिन गोऊ सेवा कर लौट रही रंजीता पर टीएमसी के कार्यकर्ताओं ने तेजाब फेंक दिया और उन्हें शारिरिक व मानसिक रूप से टॉर्चर किया गया रंजीता का परिवार अपनी जान बचा कर उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी में आ गया, लेकिन रंजीता आज अपने पैरों पर चल नही सकती।

रंजीता अभी वाराणसी के एक अस्पताल में है और इलाज चल रहा है जिसका खर्च उठाने में उनका परिवार सक्षम नही है। बंगाल में हिंदुओं पर हिंसा दिनों दिन बढ़ते जा रहे है बंगाल हिंदुस्तान का एक राज्य होते हुए भी हिंदुओ के लिए सुरक्षित नही है क्यों?

The Kashmir Files: In solidarity with our brethren

I couldn’t cry. There were times during the film when chills ran down my spine. Oftentimes I almost cried and got teary-eyed. But I couldn’t cry. Throughout the film, I had a deep abyssal pit in my gut. Maybe it was because somewhere within, my smoldering rage and the feeling one gets from witnessing the sheer unfairness of life had burnt all my tears. 

It wasn’t a surprise to me. The scenes I saw, I had already read and heard about more than once. Great journalists and activists like Pushpendra Kulshreshtha, J. Sai Deepak, Retired Major Gaurav Aarya, and many many more have already spoken at length about the genocide and the resulting exodus of 1990. All are available on public domains. But their voices were always kept away from the mainstream. All we could hear were the empty and shoddy narratives that were propagated to appease certain people. It was all truly tragic.

The reason why each and every one of us should watch this movie is to show the people who actually faced this gruesome reality that we are with them in their struggle for justice. To show them that the India they and their ancestors thought of as their motherland is there to stand by them and give them that loving warmth they have been missing all this while. It’s that gentle and caring but firm hand on their shoulders to let them know that we, although a bit later than we should have, have acknowledged their suffering and pain. That we have seen and tried to understand what they’ve been through all this time. 

It is a stand we must take in solidarity. 

We as Indians and especially as Hindus, or should I say, Sanatanis, have always taught and learned the values passed down to us by our ancestors. To embrace diversity. To embrace freedom. To embrace the differences that we have with each other. And we always do it to the best of our abilities. 

But our civilization also teaches us to protect ourselves when we see an enemy coming at us for our lives to vanquish our very way of existence. Do not hate anyone. But do not have a toxic relationship in which you let your very being be at risk for the sake of some ideal paradise.

In a nutshell, the truth cannot stay hidden and facts cannot be denied.  A famous quote from one of my favorite thinkers of modern times, Jordan Peterson;

“You cannot twist the fabric of reality. And even if you do, it will unravel itself in ways one can’t even imagine. And when it does, it has terrible consequences”.

What is happening today is exactly the unraveling of reality which was twisted by the very people our predecessors trusted to lead us to a better future. And this is just the beginning. Following suit of The Kashmir Files, many more such films will come up to cure us of our hallucinated history disorder.

To go to the theater and watch this movie is also us doing our bit to encourage other such films that may come in the future to help us out of our selective amnesia and hallucinated history disorder.

So with every fiber of my being, I recommend the movie “The Kashmir Files” to each and every person from my generation. 

We are the youth of this country. It is us who will be the future of this nation. But how do we shape our futures when our past is all a hallucination concocted by people trying to hide their dust under the carpet and our present so highly influenced by the ways of the very people who drove us into this state!? 

I won’t say that we should discard the modern way we’ve come to love so much. But all I wish is that we realize who we as a people are and what we represent and are a part of.

As the up and coming people of this country, we owe it to the many freedom fighters who were our forefathers that we stand up today and take the nation’s well-being into our own hands. 

Governments can only do so much if the people it is for are asleep and in a state of hallucinated dreams and blurred memories of our past. We should make it our mission, like Sir Agnihotri and his team did, to contribute to the nation’s healing process and empower it with our own sweat and tears. 

Not everyone can go into the armed forces to serve at the most glorious and most patriotic institution of the country. But not everything that needs to be done lies at the border. We as civilians must not take a passive approach and become complacent in times of peace and forget all the things that this nation has been through. 

Since we’ve been splashed with cold water and told that we’ve been asleep to our own brethren’s agony this whole time, we must not let another such incident happen. We must not fall asleep again and become the mindless people who could only ever see the news reports and read at the surface level and let it go thinking that “It’s sad but it’s not really my problem”.

Awake. Arise and stop not till the goal is reached.

With these words from the greatest youth icon of all times, Swami Vivekanand, I plead that we as the youth, contribute not only by chanting ”Bharat Mata ki Jai!!” in theaters or by marching on two-wheelers in hordes on Independence Day and Republic Day but also in ways that go beyond a one-off show of our love for the country.

Think of the impact we as an individual can create on the 5 people around us at a time. Think of what our actions mean for the country’s future and try and align them with its benefits. 

Even becoming an economically self-reliant person helping the nation. Even the simple act of choosing NOT to ignore it when someone spews lies about our country and its history is an act towards the betterment of our country. Today’s struggle for a better India might not be easy but it’s very real and very possible. If we, the people make it happen. It will happen.

Russia isn’t India, so to allow external interference in her sphere-of-influence

After decades long hesitation and year-long step-by-step military build-up on the Ukraine’s north, east and southern borders while from time to time announcing that Russia had no intention to wage war against Ukraine, finally Russian Federation under the leadership of President Vladimir Putin declared war against former Soviet Republic and invaded the sovereign country on the morning of 24 February 2022 with full war-gears.

It is a different matter that the invasion has not produced the desired quick result as expected by many strategic experts may be due to strong resistance from Ukrainians under the leadership of its youthful President Volodymyr Zelensky. But the attack has so far caused large-scale untold devastation to victim country’s infrastructures apart from thousands of death and millions of natives’ displacements which are to a great extent comparable with what happened to Afghanistan and Afghanis after Soviet Union’s southward expansion in 1979 and America supported natives’ resistance then forth. And first of its kinds in Europe post-WWII.

The present crisis in Eastern Europe is unambiguous product of present American leadership’s Super Power ego, present Ukraine leadership’s immature diplomacy and Putin-Russia’s wish to retain their sphere-of-influence as a legacy from now defunct Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR).

Post breakdown of USSR and abolition of Warsaw Pact, the intergovernmental military alliance of democratic West comprising West European and North American countries called North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which was explicitly came into existence to safeguard the security of Europe from expansionist Communist Soviet Union post-WWII, should have been dissolved. And if not, at least it should not have been expanded, and that too towards East European countries and most particularly, should not have included former Soviet Republics. But it did expand as insisted by US administrations in many cases, and that too despite warnings from political pundits, politicians –including President Joe Biden’s 1997 warning- and diplomats from America itself against expansions. As per recently surfaced and widely circulated video, in 1997, Joe Biden, who was then US Senate Foreign Relation Committee member, stated, “The only thing that could provoke a ‘vigorous and hostile’ Russian response would be if NATO expanded as far as the Baltic States.” Now, not only NATO included Baltic States but also instigates Ukraine to be part of NATO.

Henry Kissinger, the former Secretary of State and highly influential diplomat of the US, while writing for the Wall Street Journal in 2014 following the annexation of Crimea, pointed out that Ukraine cannot act as an outpost for either party but rather should act as a bridge between the West and Russia. He said as reported in News18 site on 5 March 2022, “Ukraine is an inalienable part of Russia’s history and identity –similar but in varying degrees to what President Putin claimed in his speech before the so-called military operation in Ukraine.” In 2014, Henry Kissinger suggested in the Washington Post that “internationally [Ukraine] should pursue a posture comparable to that of Finland. That nation leaves no doubt about its fierce independence, co-operates with the West in most fields, but carefully avoids institutional hostility to Russia.”

President V. Zelensky was supposed to learn a big lesson from Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008. Georgia, in Eastern Europe and a former Soviet Republic, wished to be member of NATO with backing from the US.  However, Germany and France said that offering a NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) to Ukraine and Georgia would be “an unnecessary offence” for Russia. NATO stated that Ukraine and Georgia would be admitted in the alliance and pledged to review the requests for MAP in December 2008. At the conclusion of NATO’s Budapest Summit on April 4, Putin said that NATO’s enlargement towards Russia “would be taken in Russia as a direct threat to the security of our country”. Apart from not learning lesson from Georgia invasion, Zelensky failed once again to understand the significance of Germany and France advocacy made in NATO summit in 2008 in regard to NATO memberships of both Georgia and Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his senior aides have repeatedly claimed that Western powers broke promises they made not to expand NATO as the Soviet Union collapsed. In his annual end-of-year press conference in Moscow in December, Putin accused NATO of deceiving Russia by giving assurances in the 1990s that it would not expand “an inch to the East”. “Promises made to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev during negotiations between the West and the Soviet Union over German unification”, the Russian leader said. “They cheated us vehemently and blatantly. NATO is expanding,” Putin said.

In contrast, India, a regional power in South Asia –justified due to her population, geographical spread, technological advancement, economic strength and military prowess apart from being with countries of the region at the time of their difficulties with skilled men and materials- is supposed to have her sphere-of-influence as per the reasons pioneered by the US’s 1823 Monroe Doctrine, but does not aspire, forget about demanding for the same alike the US, Russia, China, etc. despite provocations. Even tiny Israel –a dot in world map- also have got her sphere-of-influence, does not allow Arab countries to get Islamic N-bomb. Had India provided refueling facility to Israel Air Force fighter jets, Pakistan would not be an N-power country by now.  Since the end of colonial era in the subcontinent, the US went on arming Pakistan with latest arms and ammunitions, and allowed the failed democracy -mostly ruled by ambitious Islamist military dictators- to acquire dreaded Nuclear Weapons.

In early 1970s, the West had blatantly supported Pakistan military ruler whose forces were involved in rapes, murders and genocides of country’s own population in eastern part. When India was forced to liberate the victims, both the US and UK sent their N-power aircraft carriers and submarines to two northern wings of Indian Ocean in support of Pakistan, though they could not got their desired result due to India’s newly stitched strategic alliance with  Soviet Union which reciprocated by sending her N-fleet to Bay-of-Bengal, exposed presence of her N-submarine close to conflict zone to the US satellite and moved her army to China border as latter started amassing People’s Liberation Army on India’s northern border.

Latter the US got her naval base in Diego Garcia in Indian Ocean close to India. After Soviet Russia invasion of Afghanistan, Washington supplied huge quantity of arms and ammunitions and billions of dollars economic aids to Pakistan to fight invaders, but they were mostly used against India as admitted by none other than former Islamabad Ambassador to the US, Mr. Husain Haqqani. Now, China is following the US policies and interfering in the internal affairs of Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Maldives along with building military bases in some.

If the West and the US think Russia will eventually be another India, they are mistaken to their own perils. They should thank that Russia had tolerated from 1991 to 2008 and from 2008 to 24 February 2022. Tsarist Empire and Communist Soviet Union have gone. But their genes have not evaporated with Mikhail Gorbachev’s perestroika and glasnost. They are not like Indian politics. The Western Hemisphere should not forget that Russian President Vladimir Putin is brought up in Soviet Russia’s dreaded KGB.

भाजपा को अपनी जीत की समीक्षा करनी चाहिए

भारतीय जनता पार्टी एक मात्र ऐसी पार्टी हैं जो चुनाव में हार की बड़ी निर्ममता से समीक्षा करती हैं. केवल समीक्षा नहीं करती उसके हर पहलु पर विचार के बाद उसके सुधार के उपाय भी किए जाते हैं. याद कीजिये 1984 के चुनाव में बीजेपी को सिर्फ 2 सीटें मिली थी, उसके बाद पार्टी में जो मंथन शुरू हुआ पार्टी ने गांधीवादी समाजवाद का रास्ता छोड़ा, अटल जी जैसे सबसे लोकप्रिय नेता को अध्यक्ष पद से हटाया गया, पूरी सेंट्रल और स्टेट की टीम बदल दी गयी ,एकाध मानववाद की विचारधारा पर पार्टी लौट आई, इसी तरह से आप याद कीजिये 2009 में जब लालकृष्ण अडवाणी को प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में बीजेपी ने प्रोजेक्ट किया था. चुनाव लड़ी और बुरी तरह से हार गयी, उसके बाद अडवाणी जी ने घोषणा कि वो लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता नहीं होगे, पार्टी ने लोकसभा में सुषमा स्वराज और राज्यसभा में अरुण जेटली को नेता प्रतिपक्ष बनाया.

आपसी कलह के बाद भी 2013 में नरेन्द्र मोदी को प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार बनाया. बीजेपी में ऐसे परिवर्तन गुणदोष के आधार पर होते रहे हैं. दूसरी पार्टिया भी हार के बाद समीक्षा करती हैं, लेकिन उसको ठन्डे बस्ते में डाल देती हैं.कांग्रेस ने एक के बाद हार के बाद समीक्षा नहीं की, अगर हुयी तो जो उपाय सुझाये गए वो ठन्डे बस्ते में डाल दिए, आज कांग्रेस कहाँ हैं. लेकिन आज मैं दूसरी बात कह रहा हूँ बीजेपी की 5 में से 4 राज्यों में जीत हुई हैं, लेकिन बीजेपी को उत्तर प्रदेश में पहली बार जीत की समीक्षा करनी चाहिए, जितनी ये बात राजनीतिक दलों के लिए सही हैं, उतनी ही स्पोर्ट्स की टीम पर भी लागू होती हैं, आप क्रिकेट को ही ले लीजिये जब आप जीत जाते हैं तो आप अपनी कमियों को ढक देते हैं उनपर विचार न करके टाल देते हैं, निराकरण करने की कोशिश नहीं होती हैं, धीरे-धीरे वहीँ कमियां हार का कारण बन जाती हैं.

उत्तर प्रदेश में बीजेपी के पास ये सही समय हैं अपनी विजय की समीक्षा करने का, विजय की समीक्षा इसलिए कह रहा हूँ, पार्टी के अन्दर से ही पुरे चुनाव अभियान को अंतर्ध्वंस  करनी की कोशिश हुई हैं, नतीजे बता रहे हैं उसमे सफलता नहीं मिली, लेकिन उनको आंशिक सफलता जरुर मिली हैं, उसके कारण दो चीजे सामने आयी हैं, एक जो लडाई आसान होनी चाहिए थी वो थोड़ी मुश्किल हो गयी, दूसरी जहाँ जीत का मार्जिन ज्यादा होना चाहिए वहां कम हुआ, कहने को तो जीत हो गयी हैं, दो तिहाई बहुमत मिल गया हैं, संतुष्ट हो सकते हैं, इतनी बड़ी जीत हुई हैं पांच साल सरकार चलाने के बाद हुई हैं, ऐतिहासिक हैं, 35 साल बाद ऐसा हुआ हैं, सरकार दोबारा सत्ता में लौटकर आई हैं ये सब बातें सही हैं लेकिन सवाल ये हैं कि इस जीत को कम करने के पीछे कौन लोग थे, उनकी क्या मंशा थी, क्यूँ ऐसा कर रहे थे, क्यों ऐसा होने दिए गया, इसकी शुरुआत होती हैं कोरोना की दूसरी लहर के तुरंत बाद, जिस तरह से अभियान चलाया गया कि मुख्यमंत्री बदला जा रहा है, मुख्यमंत्री को निष्प्रभावी किया जा रहा हैं.

ये सब बाते और खबरे पार्टी के भीतर से निकलती हैं और मीडिया को फीड की जाती हैं, फ़लाने होने वाले हैं सीएम, कुछ लोग कह रहे थे मुख्यमंत्री योगी रहेंगे मगर उनको निष्प्रभावी कर दिए जायेगा , जो प्रदेश का सबसे लोकप्रिय नेता हो उनसे सारे अधिकार छीन लिए जायेगे ,बाकि सब बातें छोड़ दीजिये, तीन बातें याद कीजिये कानून व्यवस्था, पुरे प्रदेश के लोगों में चाहे वो समर्थक या विरोधी हो, जो सुरक्षा की भावना का अहसास कराया वो सिर्फ योगी आदित्यनाथ ही कर सकते थे, मैं बिलकुल दावे के साथ बोल सकता हूँ कोई और बीजेपी का नेता मुख्यमंत्री बना होता तो नहीं कर पता, दूसरा पुरे प्रदेश में 22 से 24 घंटे बिजली की सप्लाई ,तीसरा केंद्र की योजनाओ की बिना भ्रष्टाचार और पारदर्शी तरीके से डिलीवरी इनश्योर करना और मुख्यमंत्री योगी की व्यक्तिगत निष्ठा, ईमानदारी, विचारधारा के प्रति उनका समर्पण इन सब पर सवाल नहीं उठाया जा सकता ,फिर भी उनको बदलने की बातें हो रही थी, ये सब बोलने वाले कौन लोग थे।

पार्टी को छोड़कर जाने वाले तीन मंत्रियों के कारण पार्टी जिनके टिकट कटने वाली थी, उसमे एक तरह से ब्रेक लग गया,कुछ के टिकट कटे लेकिन ज्यादातर बच गए, पार्टी से ऐसी बातें आ रही हैं जिनके टिकट बच गए इसके लिए पार्टी के कुछ पदाधिकारियो ने उनसे पैसे लिए हैं. मुझे नहीं मालूम इसमे कितनी सच्चाई हैं, लेकिन इस बात की चर्चा हो रही हैं, तो किसी ने कुछ तो गड़बड़ किया होगा वो चाहे एक ही विधायक या उम्मीदवार के साथ ऐसा हुआ होगा, सवाल ये हैं कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी जैसे संगठन में ये चीज कैसे होने दी जा सकती हैं, इसको रोकने के लिए इस विजय की समीक्षा जरुरी हैं. इसकी समीक्षा नहीं हुई तो आगे चल कर इसका नुकसान उठाना पड़ सकता हैं, ये सभी पार्टियों के लिए भी हैं, खासतौर से बीजेपी के लिए.

उसके 312 अकेले और कुल मिलकर 325 विधायक थे, एक चीज पार्टी के सबसे ज्यादा खिलाफ थी वो थी विधायको के खिलाफ भयंकर नाराजगी, ऐसे विधायको की संख्या बहुत ज्यादा थी जो अपने चुनाव क्षेत्र में पुरे पांच साल नहीं गए, लोगों को बड़ी शिकायत थी, इसका अंदाजा इस बात से लगा लीजिये, पूर्व पुलिस अधिकारी असीम अरुण अपने चुनावी क्षेत्र में प्रचार के लिए गए तो लोगों ने कहा कि चुनाव जीतने के बाद एक बार क्षेत्र जरुर आ जाईये. अपने विधायको से लोगों की अपेक्षा का स्तर ऐसा हो गया हैं. इन विधायको के निक्कमेपन की कीमत पार्टी क्यों चुकाए, जनता क्यों चुकाए, उसने पार्टी को वोट दिया इसकी कीमत उसको चुकानी पड़ेगी,बहुत से विधायको की तरफ से कहा जाता है अफसर उनकी सुनते नहीं ना ही मुख्यमंत्री उनकी सुनते हैं. कुछ लोग कह रहे थे इसको टिकट फिर मिल गया हैं, हम कब तक मोदी-योगी के नाम पर ऐसे लोगों को ढोते रहेंगे जो कहता हैं अफसर इसकी सुनता नहीं, फिर 2017 से 2022 तक इसकी संपत्ति कई गुना बढ़ कैसे गयी,

ये जब तक शुरू नहीं होगा आम जनप्रतिनिधि की संपत्तियो का ऑडिट हो, भले ही कोई आरोप न लगाये, लेकिन क्षेत्र की जनता को पता चल जाता हैं, कौनसा जनप्रतिनिधि ईमानदार हैं, कौन पैसा कमा रहा हैं कौन नहीं, ये सिर्फ पार्टी के नेताओ को नहीं दिखता हैं. आम जनता को खूब दिखाई देता हैं और विधायकों के निक्कमेपन का असर ये होता हैं जनता में पार्टी की ही नहीं पूरी राजनीतिक व्यवथा के प्रति एक मित्रिक्ष्ना का भाव आ जाता है कि किसी को भी चुने सब वैसे ही हैं, ये जो भाव है इससे बड़ा नुकसान राजनीति का कोई भाव नहीं कर सकता हैं, मुझे लगता है सरकार बनाने जा रही रही हैं तो बीजेपी को संगठन और पार्टी के तौर पर ये सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि विधायकों की पीरियोड़ीकल मोनिटरिंग होनी चाहिए कि किस क्षेत्र में विधायक कितनी बार गया, कितने लोगों से मिला और कितने लोगों की समस्या सुलझाई, ये व्यवस्था बननी चाहिए, ये सभी पार्टियों में होना चाहिए, लेकिन सत्तारूढ़ दल जहाँ हैं उनकी जिम्मेदारी और ज्यादा हो जाती हैं लोग इसबात को कतई सुनाने को तैयार नही होते हैं फलाने ने नहीं सुना, फलां काम नहीं कर रहा है, जब वो देखते हैं आपकी सम्पति दिन दोगना रात चारगुना बढ़ती जा रही हैं.

 दूसरी बात एक बड़ी समस्या पुरे राजनीतिक परिदृश्य में सारे राजनीतिक दलों के सामने हैं, चलन चल पड़ा है जो सत्ता में होगा उसके कार्यकर्ता, विधायक उनको पैसा बनाने की पूरी छूट मिलेगी, भारतीय जनता पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओ की केवल उत्तर प्रदेश में नहीं सभी जगह से ये शिकायत रहती हैं दूसरे दलों की सरकार आती हैं तो उनके कार्यकर्ता खूब कमाते हैं, हमको वो मौका नही मिलता, तो सवाल ये है क्या सरकार आती है केवल अपने कार्यकर्ताओ को पैसा कमाने के लिए. सभी राजनीतिक दलों को जो पूर्णकालिक कार्यकर्ता है या जिन कार्यकर्ताओ से काम लिया जाता हैं उनके लिए निश्चितरूप से कोई संस्थागत व्यवस्था की जानी चाहिए, वर्ना एक ही रास्ता होता हैं दलाली का, जो भी पार्टी इसकी छूट देती हैं, दलाली का पूरा तंत्र खड़ा हो जाता है, ये समस्या पुरे पांच साल में उत्तर प्रदेश में हुई, दलाली का तंत्र पूरी तरह से खड़ा नहीं हो पाया तो नाराजगी हैं सरकार है अपनी फिर भी नहीं चल रही हैं, रिश्वत, ठेका-पट्टा नहीं मिल रहा है, हमारे कहने से ट्रान्सफर पोस्टिंग नही हो रहा है, हमारी सुनी नहीं जा रही हैं।

अगर बीजेपी राजनीति को सचमुच बदलना चाहती है तो बीजेपी को अपनी जीत की बड़ी निर्ममता से समीक्षा करनी चाहिए कि वो कौन लोग हैं जिन्होंने पार्टी को पीछे खीचने की कोशिश की, यदि चुनाव से कुछ महीने पहले प्रधानमंत्री जिस तरह से पूरी ताकत से कूदे, जिसतरह से बनारस की सभा से ये सन्देश दिया मुख्यमंत्री योगी पर उनका विश्वास कायम है और पार्टी का भी विश्वास कायम है कोई बदलाव नही होने जा रहा हैं, लखनऊ में जो दो तस्वीरे आई मुख्यमंत्री के कंधे पर हाथ रखकर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी चल रहे थे उसने इस आग को बुझाने का काम किया, फिर गृहमंत्री अमित शाह और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जिस उर्जा के साथ मैदान में कूदे और योगी के साथ मिलकर पूरी ताकत लगा दी थी, वर्ना संगठन के कुछ लोग जो विघ्नसंतोषी हैं वो कामयाब हो सकते थे, मुझे लगता है तब भी नही होते, हालांकि सीटे कम हो गयी, 40-45 सीटे और आनी चाहिए थी, ये बदलाव की इच्छा रखने वालो या सपा की मजबूत स्तिथि के कारण नहीं हुया हैं, ये हुआ संगठन की अकर्मणता से, मैं इससे ज्यादा कडा शब्द इस्तेमाल नही करना चाहता, निश्चित तौर से आप बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ता और नेताओ से बात कर लीजिये आपको बहुत से किस्से सुनाने को मिल जायेगे, फलां का टिकट काट रहा था ,कैसे बच गया.

अनुपमा जायसवाल को भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप में मंत्री पद से हटाया गया था उसको टिकट कैसे मिल गया, बहुत से ऐसे विधायकों को जनता ने आँख बंद करके जीत जाने दिया, जनता ने कहा इनको मत देखो मोदी और योगी को देखो, लेकिन बहुत सी जगह लोगों में पीड़ा तकलीफ इतनी ज्यादा भरी पड़ी थी, लोगों को लगा कि नहीं अगर इसको जीताया तो इसका गलत सन्देश जायेगा, बीजेपी की जो सीटे नहीं आई हैं उसका कारण हैं बीजेपी के विधायको के प्रति एंटी इनकम्बेसी, जिसका सीधा मतलब हैं उनका निक्कमापन, जिन्होंने काम किया अपने क्षेत्र में जाते रहे उनको दिक्कत नही हुई, निक्कमे विधायक वो लोग हैं जो पार्टी पर बोझ होते हैं जो पार्टी को मुश्किल में डालते हैं, बीजेपी को नई परिपाटी शुरू करनी चाहिए वो है जीत की समीक्षा, कमियां कहाँ रह गयी, क्या और भी बेहतर हो सकता था, इसलिए लिए जबाबदेही और जिम्मेदारी भी तय की जानी चाहिए.

‘द कश्मीर फ़ाइल्स’ पर तथाकथित सेकुलरों की दुविधा और दोगलापन


दुविधा में व्यक्ति संकोच करता है कि वह कोई काम करे या न करे। किंतु दोगलापन वह है जब वो कुछ ना करे और सिर्फ़ दिखावा करे। दुविधा और दोगलापन दोनों घातक हैं। दुविधा स्वयं के लिए घातक है और दोगलापन समाज के लिए। आपको तय करना होगा कि आप किस तरफ से मैदान में है? आप फिल्म का समर्थन करते हैं या नहीं? आप कश्मीरी हिंदुओं के नरसंहार को सामने लाना चाहते हैं या आपके लिए ये सिर्फ एक मनोरंजन है। बात ये नहीं है कि उस समय केंद्र में किसकी सरकार थी और राज्य में किसकी? बात यह है कि पीड़ित कौन था और अपराधी कौन? बात यह है, कि आज आप कहां खड़े हैं? पीड़ितों के साथ या आतंकियों के साथ? आपको तय करना होगा। यह 60-40 का फार्मूला नहीं चलेगा। थोड़ा इधर भी थोड़ा उधर भी। रही बात सरकार की तो 19 जनवरी 1990 जब ये धर्म पर आधारित नरसंहार शुरू हुआ, तब फारूक अब्दुल्ला मुख्यमंत्री था और धारा 370 के कारण उसके पास असीमित अधिकार थे। दिसंबर 1989 तक राजीव गांधी की सरकार थी जिनकी भूलों के कारण ही केंद्र में जनता दल की सरकार बनी।

आप क्या सोचते हैं कि, 19 जनवरी 1990 को शुरू हुआ जघन्य नरसंहार सिर्फ एक दिन में घटित हुआ होगा? सिर्फ एक दिन में सारी तैयारियां हो गई थी? नहीं यह वर्षों का षड्यंत्र था जिसे तथाकथित सेकुलर सरकारों ने नजरअंदाज किया। बाद में तो षड्यंत्र को सिर्फ अंजाम दिया गया। आप यह कह कर नहीं बच सकते कि उस दिन तो हम छुट्टी पर थे। जबकि षड्यंत्र आपके कुर्सी पर रहते ही रचा गया था। पहले बोले यह तो सिर्फ एक फिल्म है। फिर बोले फलाने की सरकार थी। अरे यदि राजकुमार की सरकार नहीं थी तो फिल्म से भय कैसा? आने दीजिए सच सामने और तय करने दीजिए जनता को कि कौन सही है और कौन गलत? आकलन करने दीजिए कि कौन किसके साथ खड़ा है? आपके एक-एक शब्द आपका पक्ष उजागर करते हैं। यह वो कश्मीर है जहां स्वयं माता वैष्णो देवी और बाबा अमरनाथ विराजते हैं। पर हम कश्मीरियत के नाम पर सिर्फ झीलों में चलने वाली नावों को ही देख पाए। यह वो कश्मीर है जहां कुंडलवन में तीसरी शताब्दी में बौद्ध संप्रदाय की चौथी महासभा हुई। किंतु हम फारुख और शेख अब्दुल्ला को ही जान पाए।

यह वो कश्मीर है जहां का अनंतनाग क्षेत्र नागवंशी राजाओं की राजधानी थी जो कश्यप ऋषि के वंशज थे। पर हम मुफ्ती और महबूबा को ही जान पाए। जरा सोचिए मात्र 30 साल पुराने नरसंहार को कितनी सफाई से दबा दिया गया जबकि उसके प्रत्यक्षदर्शी और भुक्तभोगी अभी भी जीवित हैं तो सोचिए भारत के हजारों साल पुराने गौरवशाली अतीत के साथ इन तथाकथित सेकुलर इतिहासकारों ने कितना अन्याय किया होगा? किंतु अब जनता जागरुक है। अब सत्य को अधिक दिनों तक छिपाया नहीं जा सकता। जब आग सुलग रही हो तब तो फूंक मारकर आप उसको बुझा सकते हैं किंतु यदि आग ज्वाला बन चुकी हो तो उसे बुझाने का प्रयास मत करो अन्यथा स्वयं जल जाओगे। यही गलती राजकुमार और उसकी सेना कर रही है। राष्ट्रवाद की चिंगारी अब एक ज्वाला बन चुकी है। उसे बरगला कर बुझाने का प्रयास करना मूर्खता होगी। इसलिए दुविधा और दोगलापन छोड़कर राष्ट्रवाद के साथ चलिए।
