The second race of the 2019 Formula 1 season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, was one of the most exciting and thrilling races in recent years. Both Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton showed their immense class, professionalism and driving of highest quality when they were fighting for second place on the 38th lap of the 57 lap race at Bahrain International Circuit road course in Sakhir, Bahrain. Both drivers avoided near collisions on multiple occasions during the fierce battle.

Eventually, Hamilton got past Vettel and a split second later, Vettel found himself spinning across the track. The spin was soon followed by dramatic break off the front wing of his car. Vettel had to pit stop and ended the race at fifth place. He is now 22 points behind the championship leader just after the second race.

Vettel is no stranger to spinning out in recent years. He spin out early in the Italian Grand Prix, the Japanese Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix of the 2018 Formula 1 season. This costed him the championship one may argue.

From a man in complete control ‘behind the wheels’ to one ‘spinning behind the wheels’, can Sebastian Vettel turn around the things in the upcoming races? Apart from spinning out, Vettel has been committing unforced errors too and these instances are happening quite frequent. Vettel must find answers and soon enough to compete for fifth career championship.
