Hijab is no patriarchy according to liberals

Many experts, based on studies in schools or at the work places, have pointed out that the hijab symbolically creates a social division among the Muslim women themselves: the one who wears a hijab might consider herself a better Muslim than others! 

There is no other logic except to impose male superiority over women by the maulanas and mullahs who boastfully call themselves scholars of Islam.

To what extent dress in schools and colleges can be a personal choice? And why should there be uniformity among the students?

this is high time to bring UNIFORM CIVIL CODE which would be applicable to all religious communities in matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, adoption.

Even the otherwise progressive, Malala Yousufzai seems immature to comment in the favor of pro-hijab stand, especially because, in her biography she has compared walking in burqa to “walking inside a big fabric shuttlecock with only a grille to see through” & feels himself to be fortunate enough to not wear one.

In the latest controversy, the Islamists are asserting that it’s the “fundamental” right of the Muslim girls to wear hijab in the classrooms on the ground of their faith.

They hide behind, "We are Indian too" till it suits them. Then, they pick up arms, right behind us!

I think Islamo-Leftism is a coalition of the radical left and the radical right. It’s a relationship of convenience. It’s only the radical people that want the government to intervene in the minute of things.

The timing of the protest they chose, not so surprisingly, is just when seven states are going into assembly elections including Uttar Pradesh.

After seventy-five years of Independence, if the minorities do not join stream, when are they is the question.
