Dr. Ram Puniyani has long been introduced as a former physician and IIT professor who quit his job to dedicate himself to the cause of communal harmony in India. In his mission, he advocates, among other things, that the Muslim conquerers were influenced not so much by their Jihadi fanaticism of proselytizing Hindus as their greed for wealth contained in the Hindus’ places of worship.
(w)here he touched upon the topics ranging from the Kashmir Files to the suspension of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal from the BJP to the handling of the Islamist violence in Kanpur and elsewhere in UP by the Yogi government. He warned the Indians not to critique Islam lest the Islamist nations get angry with India, withdraw all their trade or commerce and force workers from India to leave.
In response, I wrote the following in the comment section, Disqus, which appeared instantly, but was as quickly removed too:
1. In his essay, Dr Puniyani (RP) used the term ‘Muslim’ majority states, instead of ‘Islamic States’ for the Gulf countries. There’s a difference: In the Islamic States non-Muslims don’t have the same rights as Muslims. The Islamic countries in the Gulf didn’t have any right to speak on India where the constitution grants equal status to the followers of all religions. The Indian government should have proclaimed the developments within India as an internal matter and shown the Islamic countries their faces in the mirror.
2. In the Islamists’ violence, most stone-throwers were uneducated or illiterate Muslim youth indoctrinated and misled by the Muslim Mullah-Maulvi-Ashraf class whose sons and family members don’t participate in such acts of violence. RP should have indicated why such cases of violence occurred only on Fridays (e.g., 3 and 10 June 2022) after prayers from select mosques.
3. In UP and elsewhere, bulldozers were used to tear down the illegal constructions over encroached or illicitly acquired land by the accused. In most cases, notices from the city officials/appropriate authorities were served a long time before the actual action. But either the officials were asleep over such cases or the accused dragged the matter in the courts. Yogi’s government didn’t dismantle any construction without due process of law.
The news about the retired highly placed judges making a move in the Supreme Court to stop the use of bulldozers was politically motivated and an attempt to derail the executive function.
4. RP characterized “The Kashmir Files” as a biased film based on “half-truths and lies”. It’s sad and unfortunate, by alleging so, RP puts the blame of the genocide somewhere else. Vivek Agnihotri, the film-maker, had asserted that every shot/incident in the movie was backed up by hard and verifiable evidence. He had openly welcomed any critique like RP to come forward and prove him wrong anywhere. He could be legally liable too for misrepresentation of facts.
As an academic and respectable scholar RP must not have hurled words like, “half-truths and lies.” He has rubbed salt over the wounds of those Kashmiri minorities — Hindu, Sikhs and Shia Muslims — who were driven out from the valley by the Islamist Jihadists supported by Pakistan.
5. RP had done us a favor by quoting Gandhi and emphasizing the need to follow him.
In the words of Gandhi:
“I believe in the truth of all religions of the world. And since my youth upward, it has been a humble but persistent effort on my (part) to understand the truth of all the religions of the world, and adopt and assimilate in my own thought, word and deed all that I have found to be best in those religions. The faith that I profess not only permits me to do so but renders it obligatory for me to take the best from whatsoever source it may come.” (Harijan, 16-2-34)
All of us know Gandhi made so much effort to build up trust and brotherhood between the Muslims (mostly, their leaders inspired by Islamist-supremacist-separatist ideology) and the Hindus. He was even in favor of the Hindus (and the Jews in Europe in the face of Hitler’s Fascist forces) making the supreme sacrifice of their lives for the sake of non-violence. He believed this “collective” offering of lives could “change the heart” of the killers.
However, according to H. V. Seshadri, The Tragic Story of Partition (p.105), the same Gandhi, as far back as in 1925, showed another side of his reading about the Indian Muslims when he was asked a question:
“Have you ever inquired as to why, while in the Muslim community in India as a whole is so keenly interested in the affairs of Muslim countries abroad, not the least appreciable proportion of it takes any active interest in the internal political life and advancement of the country..?”
To this Gandhi replied:
“In so far as the charge is correct, the Mussalmans take less interest in because they do not yet regard India as their home of which they must feel proud. Many regard themselves, quite wrongly, I think, as belonging to the race of the conquerors.” (Young India 2-4-1925)
As a person of scientific temper, Ram Puniyani must know that the younger generation all over the world has access to a lot more information and tools to make a comparative assessment of all the Faiths and their Founders.

जी हाँ मित्रों आजकल सनातन धर्म के अनुयायियो को मलेच्छ पंथ के लोगों द्वारा उनके सर तन से जुदा करने की लगातार धमकियां दी जा रही हैं, और ये सब कुछ और नहीं अपितु एक बीमार शरीर में पनप रहे मानसिक व्याधि या विकृति या रोग का परिणाम है।
आइये इसे समझने का प्रयास करते हैं। पृष्ठभूमि:- हमारे घर के बगल में कुछ दुरी पर इन्ही म्लेच्छ/ विधर्मी लोगों कि बस्ती है। हमारा भी एक मित्र इन्हीं म्लेच्छ पंथ से आता था। उस मित्र का म्लेच्छ प्रजाति कि रीतियो के अनुसार विवाह हुआ, जिसमें हमें भी बुलाया गया, परन्तु हमने केवल शादी के अवसर पर अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई और अपने घर चला आया, क्योंकि म्लेच्छ लोगों के किसी भी हर्ष के अवसर पर हम सनातन धर्म के अनुयायी खान पान के बारे में सोच भी नहीं सकते।
खैर कुछ महीनो के पश्चात हि हमारे उस मित्र के यंहा एक बच्चा पैदा हुआ। जिस दिन बच्चा पैदा हुआ, उसी दिन एक बकरे कि कुर्बानी दी गई। एक वर्ष के पश्चात जब हम उस मित्र के घर गए तो उस एक वर्ष के बच्चे के हाथ में छोटा सा चाकू था और वो उसे थाली में अधमरी अवस्था में पड़े मुर्गी कि गर्दन पर पटक रहा था, हमारे लिए तो यह स्थिति भयावह थी, अत: हम मिलकर चले आये। करीब दो वर्ष के पश्चात जब हम उस मित्र के बुलावे पर उसके घर गये तो हमने देखा कि वो दो वर्ष का बच्चा एक डोर पकड़े था जिसके दूसरे सिरे पर एक छोटा सा छिपकली का अधमरा पर जिंदा बच्चा बँधा था, वो दो वर्ष का बच्चा उस छिपकली के बच्चे को पटक पटक के खेल रहा था।
मित्रों इसके पश्चात कि स्थिति और भी भयावह थी। जब हम तीसरे वर्ष अपने मित्र के घर पहुँचे तो, उसके घर में दावत की तैयारी चल रही थी और वो तीन वर्ष का बच्चा अपने नन्हें हाथों में भरा पूरा चाकू लेकर एक छोटी सी मुर्गी के गर्दन को काटने की कोशिश कर रहा था। हमने पूछा अरे मित्र ये देख तेरा बच्चा क्या कर रहा है, तो वो मुस्कराने लगा और बड़े गर्व से बोला कि ये तो कुछ भी नहीं ” कल किसने एक छोटी सी बकरी का गर्दन भी काटा था।” अपने मित्र की बात सुनकर हम दंग रह गये और सोचने लगे की आखिर एक तीन वर्ष का बच्चा एक छोटे से बकरी के बच्चे का गर्दन कैसे काट सकता है, पर ये तो सत्य था।
खैर ४थे वर्ष में हमारे मित्र ने मजहबी ज्ञान देने के लिए एक मजहबी स्कूल में बच्चे को भेजना शुरू कर दिया और पांचवे वर्ष में वो बच्चा एक पूर्ण मजहबी बच्चे में परिवर्तित हो गया। मित्रों जब हमारा मित्र ६वे वर्ष में अपने बच्चे के साथ बाजार में मिला तो वो एक भैसे के युवा बच्चे को खरीदने की कोशिश कर रहा था। हमारे पूछने पर उसने बताया की कल अपने ६ठे जन्मदिन पर मेरा पुत्र पहली बार किसी बड़े जानवर की कुर्बानी खुद अपने हाथों से देगा। हमारे मित्र ने हमको भी आमंत्रित करते हुए कहा कि तू भी आजा अपने भतीजे को आशीर्वाद देने तेरे लिए घास फुस का अलग से इंतजाम कर दिया है।
आप लोग सोच रहे होंगे कि आखिर हम, ये सच्ची कहानी क्यों सुना रहे हैं। मित्रों ज़रा ध्यान दीजिये जो बच्चे अपने बचपन से हि क्रूरता की सारी हदों को पार करने वाले वातावरण में पलते बढ़ते रहेंगे, उनकी मानसिक स्थिति कितनी क्रूर होगी। जो बच्चे अपने बचपन से हि कभी छिपकली, कभी मुर्गी, कभी बकरी और ६ठे वर्ष तक आते आते भैंस, गाय या अन्य बड़े जानवर की गर्दन पर चाकू चलाने लगते हैं और उनके शरीर से बहते रक्त को देख कर खुश होते हैं, ऐसे बच्चे जब कट्टरता कि चासनी में डूबी हुई मजहबी ज्ञान लेकर बाहर समाज में आते हैं, तो “इंसान का सर उनके तन से जुदा करने में ज़रा भी नहीं हिचकते”, उनके लिए तो यह एक सामान्य प्रक्रिया होती है, बस उन्हें किसी बात पर गुस्सा आ जाना चाहिए, मजहबी जूनून सर पर चढ़ कर बोलना चाहिए और फिर परिणाम, उदयपुर के कन्हैयालाल या अमरावती के उमेश या फिर गुजरात के किसन भालवाड की हत्या के रूप में सामने आता है।
मित्रों उसी दौरान आपको याद होगा कि बॉलीवुड ने दो फिल्मे दी थी, एक थी “रईस” जो एक आतंकवादी,हत्यारे और कुख्यात गुंडे के जीवन पर आधारित थी और दूसरी फिल्म थी “काबिल” जो कि एक प्रेरणादायक फिल्म थी। हमने अपने मित्र से पूछा, अरे मित्र तुम अपने पुत्र को क्या बनाना चाहोगे, “काबिल या रईस”! हमारे मित्र ने बिना एक पल गवाये कहा की मेरा बेटा “रईस” बनेगा।
आइये देखते हैं ये मानसिक रोग या विकृति या व्याधि होती क्या है? मनोविकार (Mental disorder) किसी व्यक्ति के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य की वह स्थिति है जिसे किसी स्वस्थ व्यक्ति से तुलना करने पर ‘सामान्य’ नहीं कहा जाता। स्वस्थ व्यक्तियों की तुलना में मनोरोगों से ग्रस्त व्यक्तियों का व्यवहार असामान्य और आमतौर पर क्रूरता से भरा होता है।
यदि कोई व्यक्ति बिना किसी विशेष कारण के डरा हुआ, भयभीत या चिंता महसूस करता है तो कहा जा सकता है कि वह व्यक्ति व्यग्रता विकार (Anxiety disorder) से ग्रस्त है। व्यग्रता विकार के विभिन्न प्रकार होते हैं जिसमें चिंता की भावना विभिन्न रूपों में दिखाई देती है। इनमें से कुछ विकार किसी चीज से अत्यन्त और तर्करहित डर के कारण होते हैं और जुनूनी-बाध्यकारी विकार जहां कोई व्यक्ति बारबार एक ही बात सोचता रहता है और अपनी क्रियाओं को दोहराता है।
मित्रों आपने अक्सर हि अपने दैनिक जीवन में सामान्य प्रक्रिया युक्त जीवन जीते हुए सड़क पर कभी किसी व्यक्ति को गंदे कपड़ों में, कूड़े के आसपास पड़े अस्वच्छ भोजन को खाते या फिर अजीब तरीके से बातचीत या व्यवहार करते हुए देखा होगा। उनमें व्यक्ति, स्थान व समय के विषय में कमजोर अभिविन्यास होता है। हम अक्सर उन्हें पागल, बेसुधा आदि कह देते हैं, परंतु नैदानिक भाषा में इन्हें मनोविदलित कहते हैं।
ये मनोविकार की एक गंभीर परिस्थिति होती है, जो अशांत विचारों, मनोभावों व व्यवहार से होते हैं। मनोविदलन विकारों में असंगत मानसिकता, दोषपूर्ण अभिज्ञा, संचालक कार्यकलापों में बाधा, नीरस व अनुपयुक्त भाव होते हैं। इससे ग्रस्त व्यक्ति वास्तविकता से निर्लिप्त रहते हैं और अक्सर काल्पनिकता और भ्रांति की दुनिया में खोये रहते है।
परन्तु हम यंहा जिस प्रकार के मनोविकार के बारे में चर्चा कर रहे हैं वो है व्यक्तित्व विकार (पर्सनालिटी डिसॉर्डर) :- व्यक्तित्व विकार की जड़ें किसी व्यक्ति के शैशव काल से जुड़ीं होती हैं, जहां कुछ बच्चे लोचहीन व अशुद्व विचारधारा विकसित कर लेते हैं। ये विभिन्न व्यक्तित्व मनोविकार व्यक्ति में हानिरहित अलगाव से ले कर भावनाहीन क्रमिक हत्यारे के रूप में सामने आते हैं।
अब यंहा अमेरिका में सरेआम एक के बाद बन्दुक धारियों द्वारा कि जा रही आम लोगों की हत्याओ को भी ध्यान में रखना होगा। वंहा अक्सर हि एक युवा अकेले बंदूक लेकर निकलता है और भीड़ में ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां चलाते हुए कई मासूमों को कत्ल कर देता हैं।
व्यक्तित्व मनोविकारों की श्रेणियों को तीन समूहों में वर्गीकृत किया जा सकता है। पहले, समूह की विशेषता अजीब और सनकी व्यवहार है। चिंता और शक दूसरे समूह की विशेषता है और तीसरे समूह की विशेषता है नाटकीय, भावपूर्ण और अनियमित व्यवहार।
पहले समूह में व्यामोहाभ, अन्तराबन्धा, पागल (सिज़ोटाइपल) व्यक्तित्व विकार सम्मिलित हैं। दूसरे समूह में आश्रित, परिवर्जित, जुनूनी व्यक्तित्व मनोविकार बताए गए हैं। असामाजिक, सीमावर्ती, अभिनय (हिस्ट्राथमिक), आत्ममोही व्यक्तित्व विकार तीसरे समूह के अन्तर्गत आते हैं।
रज और तम ये दो मानस रोग हैं । इनकी विकृति से होने वाले विकार मानस रोग कहलाते हैं ।
मानस रोग- काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, ईष्यार्, मान, मद, शोक, चिन्ता, उद्वेग, भय, हषर्, विषाद, अभ्यसूया, दैन्य, मात्सयर् और दम्भ ये मानस रोग हैं ।
१. काम- इन्द्रियों के विषय में अधिक आसक्ति रखना ‘काम’ कहलाता है ।
२. क्रोध- दूसरे के अहित की प्रवृत्ति जिसके द्वारा मन और शरीर भी पीड़ित हो उसे क्रोध कहते हैं ।
३. लोभ- दूसरे के धन, स्त्री आदि के ग्रहण की अभिलाषा को लोभ कहते हैं ।
४. ईर्ष्या- दूसरे की सम्पत्ति-समृद्धि को सहन न कर सकने को ईर्ष्या कहते हैं ।
५. अभ्यसूया- छिद्रान्वेषण के स्वभाव के कारण दूसरे के गुणों को भी दोष बताना अभ्यसूया या असूया कहते हैं ।
६. मात्सर्य- दूसरे के गुणों को प्रकट न करना अथवा क्रूरता दिखाना ‘मात्सर्य’ कहलाता है ।
७. मोह- अज्ञान या मिथ्या ज्ञान (विपरीत ज्ञान) को मोह कहते हैं । ८. मान- अपने गुणों को अधिक मानना और दूसरे के गुणों का हीन दृष्टि से देखना ‘मान’ कहलाता है ।
९. मद- मान की बढ़ी हुई अवस्था ‘मद’ कहलाती है ।
१०. दम्भ- जो गुण, कमर् और स्वभाव अपने में विद्यमान न हों, उन्हें उजागरकर दूसरों को ठगना ‘दम्भ’ कहलाता है ।
११. शोक- पुत्र आदि इष्ट वस्तुओं के वियोग होने से चित्त में जो उद्वेग होता है, उसे शोक कहते हैं ।
१२. चिन्ता- किसी वस्तु का अत्यधिक ध्यान करना ‘चिन्ता’ कहलाता है ।
१३. उद्वेग- समय पर उचित उपाय न सूझने से जो घबराहट होती है उसे ‘उद्वेग’ कहते हैं ।
१४. भय- अन्य आपत्ति जनक वस्तुओं से डरना ‘भय’ कहलाता है ।
१५. हर्ष- प्रसन्नता या बिना किसी कारण के अन्य व्यक्ति की हानि किए बिना अथवा सत्कर्म करके मन में प्रसन्नता का अनुभव करना हषर् कहलाता है ।
१६. विषाद- कार्य में सफलता न मिलने के भय से कार्य के प्रति साद या अवसाद-अप्रवृत्ति की भावना ‘विषाद’ कहलाता है ।
१७. दैन्य- मन का दब जाना- अथार्त् साहस और धर्य खो बैठना दैन्य कहलाता है ।
इसकी चिकित्सा:- मित्रों ऐसा वातावरण और शिक्षा, जिसके प्रभाव के कारण एक बालक, युवा होकर एक क्रूर और निर्मम हत्यारे के रूप में समाज के सामने आता है, सदैव एक सभ्य समाज के विकास में बाधक होते हैं। इसके लिए हमें उन्हें कन्सन्ट्रेशन कैम्प में रखकर मनोवैज्ञानिको की सहायता से उन्हें उनके अंदर भरे हुए क्रूर विकारों और जुनूनी शिक्षाओं से मुक्त कराना होगा।
किसी भी प्रकार के मनोविकारों से निपटने के लिए कुछ विशेष मनश्चिकित्सा प्रक्रिया द्वारा व्यक्ति की सेवा की जाती हैं। वह व्यक्ति जो मनश्चिकित्सा के क्रार्यक्रम का प्रारूप तय करता है वह प्रशिक्षित व्यक्ति होता है, जिसे नैदानिक मनोवैज्ञानिक या मनोचिकित्सक कहते हैं। जो व्यक्ति यह उपचार करवाता है उसे सेवार्थी/रोगी कहते हैं। मनश्चिकित्सा को अक्सर वार्ता उपचार कहा जाता है क्यों कि ये अंतरवैयक्तिक संपर्क द्वारा प्रदान की जाती है। इस की औषधियां केवल मनोचिकित्सक द्वारा ही दी जा सकती हैं, जो कि औषधीय चिकित्सक होना मनश्चिकित्सा की विभिन्न तकनीकें होती हैं, जो असामान्य व्यवहारों के कारण एवं विकास का वर्णन करती हैं। इनमें मनोविश्लेषण, व्यवहार चिकित्सा, संज्ञानात्मक-व्यवहार चिकित्सा, सेवार्थी केंद्रित चिकित्सा इत्यादि सम्मिलित हैं।
मनश्चिकित्सा एक रूपांकित योजना है, जो कि मनोविकारों की प्रकृति और गम्भीरता को धयान में रखकर तैयार की जाती है।
१. सौहार्द स्थापना : मनश्चिकित्सक सेवार्थियों से अच्छे और क्रियाशील संबंध निर्मित कर के उन्हें अपने सहयोग का आश्वासन देता है और इस प्रकार उनका विश्वास जितने का प्रयास करता है, क्योंकि विश्वास पनपने के पश्चात हि उचित चिकत्सा की संभावना बनती है।
२. व्यक्ति वृत्त को तैयार करना : सेवार्थी के परिवार, मित्र, समाज व जीविका के साथ सामंजस्य स्वरूप को ध्यान में रख कर विशेष विकार का व्यक्ति वृत्त तैयार किया जाता है। इस व्यक्ति वृत्त के आधार पर हि रोगी कि उचित चिकित्सा की जा सकती है।
३. समस्या पर विचार करना : व्यक्ति वृत्त तैयार करने के पश्चात् मनश्चिकित्सक कुछ ऐसी समस्याओं पर विचार करता है जिन्हें तात्कालिक देखरेख की जरूरत होती है, जिनका नैदानिक जांच एवं साक्षात्कार के अनुसार दवा देकर समाधान किया जा सकता है।
४. उपचारात्मक सत्र : समस्या की प्रकृति और गम्भीरता के अनुसार मनोचिकित्सक सेवार्थी के साथ उपचार केंद्रित सत्र की अगुवाई करता है। प्रत्येक सत्र के पश्चात हुए सुधार का निरीक्षण एवं मूल्यांकन किया जाता है और आवश्यक लगे तो भावी उपचार के तरीकों में बदलाव कर लिया जाता है।
५. उपचारात्मक हस्तक्षेप : यह सुनिश्चित हो जाने पर कि सत्र द्वारा वांछित परिणामों की प्राप्ति हो गई है तब मनोचिकित्सक सत्र को समाप्त कर देता है। सेवार्थी और उसके परिवार जनों को घर पर ही कुछ सुझावों को मानने की सलाह दी जाती है और जरुरत पड़नेपर सेवार्थी को मनोचिकित्सक के पास दोबारा भी बुलाया जा सकता है।
और इस प्रकार उनके अंदर बुरी तरिके से जड़े जमा चुके उन सिद्धांतो को, जो उन्हें इंसान से शैतान में परिवर्तित कर देते हैं, धीरे धीरे करके बाहर निकाल दिया जाता है।
मनोचिकित्सक उनके मनोविज्ञान को समझकर प्रयत्न करता है कि वो अपनी सोच और समझ को विध्वन्स के स्थान पर सृजन की ओर ले जाए और समाज में सभ्य इंसान बनकर जिए, ना कि गर्दन काटने वाले शैतान बनकर।
मित्रों ये सत्य है कि प्रतिष्ठित परिवार में जन्म ले लेने से ही कोई व्यक्ति उस प्रतिष्ठा का अधिकारी नहीं हो जाता और यदि उसे प्रतिष्ठित मान भी लिया जाए तो, यह उसके अपने कर्म पर निर्भर करता है कि वो व्यक्ति उस प्रतिष्ठा में वृद्धि करेगा या कलंकित करेगा। तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ नाम तो सुना हि होगा, इस महिला की कहानी भी कुछ ऐसी हि है। चलीये देखते हैं, कैसे…
पृष्ठभूमि:- उसके दादाजी श्री एम सी सीतलवाड़, हमारे देश के सर्वप्रथम अटॉर्नी जनरल थे। उसके पिताजी श्री अतुल सीतलवाड़ एक नामी वकील थे। उसका जन्म ऐसे प्रतिष्ठित परिवार में वर्ष १९६२ को हुआ था।
तिस्ता ने अपनी प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा को पूर्ण कर, मुंबई यूनिवर्सिटी से विधि अर्थात क़ानून की पढ़ाई शुरू की परन्तु २ वर्ष के पश्चात ही उसने क़ानून त्याग, पत्रकारिता की पढ़ाई शुरू की और पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र् में कदम रखा। उसने कई अखबारों के लिए एक पत्रकार के रूप में कार्य किया और इसी दौरान उसकी मुलाकात पत्रकार जावेद आनंद से हुई और अंतत: दोनो ने शादी कर ली। बस इसी जावेद के साथ और सोच ने तिस्ता के जीवन की दिशा बदल दी।
गोधरा कांड और श्री नरेंद्र दामोदरदास मोदी जी।
मित्रों आपको याद होगा कि किस प्रकार कांग्रेस से जुड़े आतंकवादियों ने दिनांक २७ फ़रवरी २००२ को गोधरा रेलवे स्टेशन के पास साबरमती ट्रेन के एस-6 कोच में आग लगा कर ५९ कारसेवकों हिंदुओं कि निर्दयता पूर्वक हत्या कर दी। इस मामले में १५०० लोगों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई। इसके पश्चात् दिनांक २८ फ़रवरी २००२ को गुजरात के कई इलाकों में दंगा भड़का जिसमें १२०० से अधिक लोग मारे गए।
दिनांक ०३ मार्च २००२ को गोधरा ट्रेन जलाने के मामले में गिरफ्तार किए गए लोगों के खिलाफ आतंकवाद निरोधक अध्यादेश (पोटा) लगाया गया। और ९ वर्षो के दौरान हुए कई घटनाक्रमो के पश्चात दिनांक २२ फरवरी २०११ को विशेष अदालत ने गोधरा कांड (काण्ड) में ३१ लोगों को दोषी पाया, जबकि ६३ अन्य को बरी किया। और अंतत: दिनांक १ मार्च २०११ को विशेष न्यायालय ने गोधरा कांड (काण्ड) में ११ को फांसी, और २० को उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई।
कांग्रेस ने एक और घृणित योजना को अंजाम दिया, किस प्रकार आइये देखते हैं।
गुजरात के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र दामोदरदास मोदीजी और राष्ट्रीय सेवक संघ को विश्व स्तर पर बदनाम करने के लिए कांग्रेस ने एक भयानक षड्यंत्र कर योजना बनायीं और उसकी मोहरा बनी तिस्ता सीतलवाड़।
सर्वप्रथम तिस्ता सीतलवाड़, उसके पति जावेद आनंद, ईसाई (कैथॉलिक) पादरी सेड्रिक प्रकाश, अनिल धरकर (पत्रकार), अल्याक पद्मसी, जावेद अख्तर, विजय तेंदुलकर, राहुल बोस ( सभी फिल्म और थियेटर से जुड़े) जैसे लोगों ने मिलकर दिनांक १ अप्रैल, २००२ को “Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP)” नामक एक NGO बनाया और इसकी आड़ में क़ानून और सत्ता के दुरूपयोग का खेल शुरू किया।
उन्होंने भाजपा, राष्ट्रीय स्वय सेवक संघ और श्री नरेंद्र दामोदरदास मोदीजी को अंतराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बदनाम करने की मुहिम शुरू कर दी गई। कई आपराधिक शिकायते दर्ज की गई। केंद्र में कांग्रेस की सरकार होने के कारण तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ और उसके साथियों पर कोई रोक टोक नहीं था। उनका प्रभाव इतना था की “बेस्ट बेकरी केस” को गुजरात से महाराष्ट्र स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया था।
श्री नरेन्द्र दामोदरदास मोदी जी को सजा दिलाने की भरपूर कोशिश की गई, झूठे गवाह तैयार किये गए, झूठे दस्तावेज तैयार किये गए, जिसमें IPS ऑफिसर संजीव भट्ट जैसे लोग काफी सक्रिय थे, संजीव भट्ट ने तो झूठा हलफनामा भी फाइल किया और श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी को गुजरात में हुए दंगो के लिए जिम्मेदार बताया।
इसी का प्रभाव रहा कि अमेरिका (जो आज मोदी जी के एक इशारे के लिए तरसता है) ने हमारे मोदी जी को वीजा देने से इंकार कर दिया।
खैर CBI, आरम्भिक अदालतो, उच्च न्यायालय और सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा बाइज्जत बरी कर दिए जाने के पश्चात भी कांग्रेस के इशारो पर तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ और उसकी टिम के लोग मोदी जी के पीछे पड़े रहे। और इन सबका इनाम भी तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ को मिला, जब उसे कांग्रेस सरकार द्वारा वर्ष २००७ में पद्मश्री से सम्मानित किया गया और यही नहीं इससे पूर्व वर्ष २००२ में ही इसे राजीव गाँधी सद्भावना पुरस्कार भी दिया गया। तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ ने करोड़ो रुपए का फंड अपने NGO के माध्यम से इकट्ठा किया जिसे दंगा पीड़ितो कि सहायता के लिए खर्च किया जाना था।
जब जांच करने वाली सरकारी संस्था (सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा गठित SIT) ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में अपनी अंतिम Closure रिपोर्ट प्रेषित करते हुए श्री नरेंद्र दामोदरदास मोदी जी को पूर्णतया सभी आरोपों से मुक्त कर दिया अर्थात क्लिन चिट दे दिया तो, तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ ने एक बार पुन: गुजरात के दंगों की भेट चढ़ गए कांग्रेसी नेता जाफरी की पत्नी जाकिया जाफरी को अपना मोहरा बनाया और प्रोटेस्ट याचिका दाखिल करवाकर जांच एजेंसी के रिपोर्ट का विरोध करवाया, बताने कि आवश्यकता नहीं है की ये भी कांग्रेस के इशारे पर हि हुआ।
जून २०२२ में सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने उस प्रोटेस्ट याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए अपना आदेश पारित किया और जाकिया जाफरी के याचिका को रद्द करते हुए कहा कि, ” तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ ने जाकिया जाफरी के भावनाओं का इस्तेमाल किया”।सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने एसआईटी की तारीफ की और सख्त टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि “जितने लोग कानून से खिलवाड़ करते हैं उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने तीस्ता सीतलवाड़ का भी नाम लिया और कहा कि सीतलवाड़ के खिलाफ और जांच की जरूरत है।”
सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश के बाद केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि, ”भाजपा की विरोधी राजनीतिक पार्टियां, कुछ वैचारिक राजनीति में आए हुए पत्रकार और कुछ एनजीओ ने मिलकर झूठे आरोपों को इतना प्रचारित किया अपने मजबूत इकोसिस्टम से कि धीरे-धीरे लोग झूठ को ही सत्य मानने लगे।
और इसके पश्चात २००२ में हुए गुजरात दंगे के मामले में तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी और ५५ अन्य राजनेताओं, अधिकारियो के विरुद्ध झूठे केस शुरू करवाने की साजिश रचने के आरोप में गुजरात एटीएस ने असमाजिक कार्यकर्ता और समाज के लिए भयानक गन्दगी बन चुकी तीस्ता सीतलवाड़ को उसके काली कमाई से बनाए गए मुंबई के जुहू में स्थित करोड़ो के आशियाने से एक अपराधी के रूप में दबोच लिया। और कल की झूठ और फरेब के बल पर बनी पद्मश्री विजेता आज अपराधी के रूप में अपने सच का सामना कर रही है।
इसके दो प्रमुख और भयानक असमाजिक तत्व पूर्व डीजीपी श्रीकुमार और IPS officer संजीव भट्ट भी क़ानून के शिकंजे में आ चुके हैं।
परन्तु दोस्तों उस काले और भयानक चेहरे वाली कांग्रेस के निम्न कोटि की निकृष्ट मानसिकता वाले नेताओं का क्या जो पिछले २० वर्षो से लगातार विशवमन करते आ रहे हैं। उन चाटुकार पत्रकारों (जैसे दीपक सरदेसाई, बरखा दत्त इत्यादि) का क्या, वो क्या ऐसे हि बचे रहेंगे, क्या इन पर कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की जाएगी। मित्रों इन सब पर कार्यवाही होनी चाहिए। ये सभी सजा के पात्र हैं।
सच का सूरज तो हमारे परम आदरणीय प्रधानमन्त्री श्री नरेंद्र दामोदरदास मोदीजी के रूप में अपना शौर्य बिखेर रहा है, पर झूठ और फरेब की चादर में सिमटी तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ आज अंधकार के साये में विलुप्त होने के कगार पर आ चुकी है।
ये एक गरीब परिवार में जन्मे अनजाने मोदी जी के सूकर्म ही हैं जिसके कारण वो विश्व जनमानस के ह्रदय पटल पर विराजमान है। और ये एक प्रतिष्ठित परिवार में जन्म लेने वाली तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ के कुकर्म हैं जो आज सबकी नजरो से गिर चुकी है।
तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ पर आरोप। १:- तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ और उसके पति जावेद आनंद के ऊपर उनके ही सहयोगी रइस खान ने आरोप लगाया की दंगा पीड़ितो की सहायता की आड़ में, अपने NGO के माध्यम से करोडो रुपये के फंड जुटाये और उसे डकार गए अर्थात स्वय के ऊपर खर्च कर दिए।
२:- तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ ने बेस्ट बेकरी कांड केस की मुख्य विटनेस जाहिरा शेख पर दवाब डालकर झूठ बोलने के लिए विवश किया ,जिसके कारण उस केस को गुजरात से बाहर महाराष्ट्र मे स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया था और बाद मे जांच के पश्चात जाहिरा शेख को झूठा हलफनामा देने के लिए १ वर्ष की सजा दी गई।
३:-वर्ष २०१३ में अहमदाबाद में स्थित गुलबर्ग सोसायटी के १२ निवासियों ने तीस्ता के खिलाफ जांच की मांग की। सोसायटी के लोगों ने आरोप लगाया कि तीस्ता ने गुलबर्ग सोसाइटी में म्यूजियम बनाने के लिए करीब डेढ़ करोड़ रुपये जमा किए, लेकिन उन पैसों का सही इस्तेमाल नहीं हुआ। वर्ष २०१४ में तीस्ता और उनके पति जावेद आनंद के खिलाफ क्राइम ब्रांच ने एफआईआर दर्ज की थी।
४:- तिस्ता सीतलवाड़ ने IPS Officer संजीव भट्ट, गुजरात के पूर्व DGP श्री कुमार ( वहीं officer जिसने केरल के महान वैज्ञानिक नारायणन के ऊपर झूठे आरोप लगाकर उन्हें देशद्रोही साबित करने की कोशिश कि थी) के साथ मिलकर:- :- झूठे गवाह तैयार किये; :- झूठे हलफनामा तैयार किये; :- झूठे दस्तावेज तैयार किये; :- झूठे केस फाइल किये; :- अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश की छवी खराब करने का प्रयास किया; :- सम्बंधित न्यायालय को गुमराह किया और गुमराह करनेकी कोशिश करती रही; और इस प्रकार उसने वो हर अपराध किया जिसे उसे नहीं करना चाहिए था। आज उसी की सजा भुगत रही।
एक निजी चैनेल की डिबेट पर भाजपा की पूर्व प्रवक्ता नूपुर शर्मा ने जो भी बयान दिया था उसको मैं कतई दोहराना नहीं चाहता हूं, किसी भी डिबेट में कई बार ऐसे अवसर उत्पन्न हो जाते हैं कि इंसान का विवेक धैर्य खो ही देता हैं, नूपुर शर्मा ने जो भी वक्तव्य दिया था वो करोडों हिंदू धर्म को मानने वालों के आराध्य भगवान शिव के ऊपर मुस्लिम नेता तस्लीम रहमानी द्वारा की गई घटिया और निंदनीय टिप्पणी के बाद प्रतिक्रिया के रूप में दिया था।
इस बयान पर दो दिनों तक देश में कहीं कोई चर्चा नहीं हुई, दो दिन बाद कथित पत्रकार मोहम्मद जुबैर ने अपने सॉशल मिडिया हैंडल पर उक्त डिबेट की क्लिप को मैनुफुलेट करके वायरल किया जिसके बाद देश-विदेश से समुदाय विशेष के कुछ कट्टरपंथी लोगों की तरफ से नूपुर शर्मा को भद्दी-भद्दी गालियों, जान से मारने, गला काटने की धमकियां मिलनी शुरू हो गई। ये कथित पत्रकार यहीं नहीं रूका उसने पुनः भारत को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बदनाम करने और मुस्लिम विरोधी साबित करने के लिए अपने ट्विटर हैंडल पर कुछ इस्लामिक देशों को टैग करके इस मामले को भडकाने की साजिश रची।
भाजपा ने विवाद बढ़ने के बाद अपनी पार्टी की नेता और प्रवक्ता नूपुर शर्मा और नवीन जिंदल को पार्टी की सदस्यता से निलंबित कर दिया था, दोनों नेताओं ने अपने शब्दों पर खेद जताते हुए माफ़ी भी मांग ली थी। उसमे बाद भी लगातार दोनों नेताओं को जान से मारने की धमकी का सिलसिला जारी हैं, वहीँ दूसरी तरह भगवान शिव का अपमान करने वाले तस्लीम रहमानी जैसे लाखों बिना किसी परेशानी के आराम से घूम रहे हैं।
माफ़ी मांगने के बावजूद नूपुर शर्मा के बयान के विरोध में 10 जून को देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में जुमे की नमाज के बाद व्यापक प्रदर्शन और हिंसा देखने को मिली। प्रयागराज, सहारनपुर, हावड़ा, रांची आदि शहरों में तो प्रदर्शनकारी सीधे सुरक्षा बलों से भिड़ गए और आगजनी एवं पथराव कर व्यवस्था को चुनौती देने पर उतर आए। इन शहरों के अलावा दिल्ली स्थित शाही जामा मस्जिद से लेकर मुरादाबाद, फिरोजाबाद, लखनऊ, कोलकाता, अहमदाबाद, लुधियाना, औरंगाबाद, भद्रवाह, डोडा, किश्तवाड़ आदि शहरों में भी जुमे की नमाज के बाद प्रदर्शन हुए। कहीं-कहीं वे इतने उग्र थे कि या तो कर्फ्यू लगाना पड़ा या फिर धारा 144 लगानी पड़ी। इसके पहले 3 जून को जुमे की नमाज के बाद कानपुर में जो उग्र प्रदर्शन हुए, उसमें भी हिंसा भड़क उठी थी।
भाजपा के दोनों पूर्व नेताओं के खिलाफ दिल्ली पुलिस ने एफआइआर भी दर्ज की। इस सबके बाद भी मुसलमानों के कट्टरपंथी वर्ग ने सड़कों पर उतरकर उग्रता दिखाई।
लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था में किसी मुद्दे को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन करना आम नागरिकों का संवैधानिक हक है, लेकिन जिस प्रकार जुमे की नमाज के बाद प्रदर्शन और वह भी उग्र प्रदर्शन करने का चलन पिछले कुछ सालों में बढा हैं, वह देश हित में तो कतई नहीं हैं और न ही मुसलमानों के हित में । आखिर मुसलमान जुमे के दिन मस्जिदों से निकलकर सडकों पर उग्र प्रदर्शन , पत्थरबाजी करके क्या संदेश देना चाहते हैं ?
मैं यहां दूसरी बात कहना चाहता हूं, आप मेरी बात से इत्तेफाक नहीं भी रख सकते हैं और कह सकते है मैं दूसरे चश्में से देख रहा हूं, लेकिन मैं इस बात को कहे बिना नहीं रह सकता हूं, मुझे जहाँ तक दिख रहा है कि ये इस्लाम के पैगंबर के बारे में कही बातों के विरोध का प्रदर्शन नहीं दिखता हैं, इस प्रदर्शन के बहाने दूसरी मंशा को बढ़ावा देना चाहते हैं। आपको याद होगा दिसम्बर 2019 को देश के अन्य हिस्सों के साथ-साथ उत्तर प्रदेश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में सीएए-एनआरसी के विरोध के नाम पर हिंसक घटनाऐं हुई थी। मैं इसको कतई सीएए-एनआरसी के विरोध का प्रदर्शन नहीं मानता हूं।
वर्ष 2019 वामपंथी और सेकुलर जमातों के लिए बहुत ही पीडादायक वर्ष रहा हैं, 26 मई 2019 में प्रचंड बहुमत से दोबारा नरेंद्र मोदी देश के प्रधानमंत्री बनाना, 5 अगस्त 2019 को जम्मू एंड कश्मीर से धारा 370 और 35 ए का हटना, 9 नवम्बर 2019 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट का अयोध्या में श्रीराम मंदिर के पक्ष में फ़ैसला देना, इन तीन बडी घटनाओं के बाद असमाजिक और देश के दुश्मनों के भीतर क्रोधाग्नि का ज्वार इतना बढा दिया था कि सीएए विरोधी आंदोलन के नाम पर ये हिंसक प्रदर्शन पर उतर आए थे, मेरी बात को बल इससे भी मिलता है फरवरी 2020 में दिल्ली में हुए सीएए विरोधी दंगों के मास्टर माइंड ताहिर हुसैन ने कबूल किया था कि वो धारा 370,35 ए के हटने से दुखी था, हिंदुओं को सबक सिखाना चाहता था। दिल्ली दंगों के दूसरे आरोपी उमर खालिद ने भी कबूला था कि भाजपा की दोबारा से केंद्र में सरकार बनने, जम्मू एंड कश्मीर से धारा 370 व 35 ए तथा अयोध्या में राममंदिर के पक्ष में आये फ़ैसले के बाद बौखला गया था और सरकार और हिन्दुओं को सबक सिखाना था।
अब मैं इस मुद्दे पर आता हूं कि वर्तमान में देश में आखिर ये सब क्या हो रहा हैं , तो आप समझ लीजिए भाजपा की पूर्व प्रवक्ता नुपुर शर्मा और नवीन जिंदल केवल बहाना हैं असली मुद्दा दूसरा हैं, दरअसल असली मुद्दा है ज्ञानव्यापी में हुए सर्वे के दौरान मिले शिवलिंग और अन्य साक्ष्यों से बहुत ही आसानी से ज्ञानव्यापी के उस कब्जे वाले हिस्से पर हिंदू पक्ष की दावेदारी मजबूत हो गई हैं, मथुरा में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की जन्मभूमि पर खडी अवैध ईदगाह को हटवाने की मांग प्रबल हो रही हैं।
जिसके बाद मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोग और नेता कसमें खा रहे हैं कि बाबरी के बाद दूसरी मस्जिद नहीं खोने देगें, ये ज्ञानवापी मंदिर पर जमाये कब्ज़े का हाथ से निकल जाने की बौखलाहट हैं , ये वो उग्र और हिंसक शक्ति प्रदर्शन हैं जिसको दिखाकर ये बहुसंख्यक हिंदुओं और सरकारों के मन में भय बैठाने के लिए कर रहे हैं।
आप देखिये और समझिये, सभी कडियां स्वतः ही जुडती नजर आयेगी अन्यथा आप कह सकते हैं कि मैं दूसरी नजर से देख रहा हूं।

A little more complex but hopefully not far-fetched assumption is that you’ve found it against and despite the giant monopoly of Left Liberal eco system and Abrahmics’ chokehold on news media. And their constant, venomous anti-Hindu propaganda because of their equally constant state-of-war against Santani interests.
That war runs beyond their own websites and have reached on Social Media.
And there, not everyone is as lucky, or as persistent, like OpIndia had been.
A Hindu tailor named Kanhaiyalal was beheaded in Udaipur, Rajasthan, on 28 june 2022, for supporting ex-Spokes Person of BJP Nupur Sharma on WhatsApp (or it might’ve been his 8 year old son who expressed solidarity, details are hazy at the moment.) We all know, in fact OpIndia itself had established the chain of events that led to this: an alleged fact-checker with a dangerous propensity for spreading fake news, unleashed Islamist mobs on Nupur Sharma and in fact on several Indian cities, when he, and let me emphasize this, practically declared her guilty of committing Blasphemy before Indian Courts had to decide the matter one way or the other.
That should’ve been, before anything else, contempt of court. Which wouldn’t have been worthy of being called out otherwise but in this case, it had led to riots, arson, and now a gruseome beheading of a Hindu man by 2 Islamists in ISIS style.
Questions that need to be asked
Who’d be responsible for all this carnage if Nupur Sharma is proved not guilty of blasphemy in an Indian Court?
Who’d be responsible for endangering our Nation’s hard won good relations with arab world if she didn’t do something for which Left Liberal eco system and Abrhamics held a media (now violent) trial and declared her guilty?
And even if the court finds her guilty, It’ll be an Indian court’s decision. Who gave the alleged fact checker the authority to decide it, or for that matter other anti-Hindu people, local or foreigner, if she’s guilty or not?
In fact that’s the same mistake crores of left-liberals and Islamists are making now when playing victim card – when alleged fact checker was arrested for hurting Hindu religious sentiments – and even before that, hailing him as someone who calls out “Hate Speech” (never mind that technically, he’s accused of that crime himself now.) Who gave them to right or even authority to judge whether someone’s speech is hate-speech or not?
So the question is: Shouldn’t the government have exercised its authority and asked the Social Media sites to remove that problematic content and if appropriate, ban the account? Despite so many people calling out the dangerous path alleged fact checker had chosen to tread in his anti-Hindu hatred, by playing judge and declaring Nupur Sharma guilty of blasphemy before Court had the opportunity to consider all the facts?
Why leave it to Social Media?
Is it because they’re celebrities among anti-nationals?
But this is not about the expected response from her fellow anti-nationals. This is about what the government did?
Which begs the question:
Why one celebrity anti-national is treated differently than the other?
And why is action delayed so much anyway? Both, in case of alleged journalist and alleged fact-checker.
Now that, is something for which I think celebrity status could’ve influenced the hesitation.
So the final question, is this: What about common people? What about their complaints? Why shouldn’t government be bound and required to act quickly and decisively, in a manner that does not discriminate among Indian Citizens in violation of Article 14 of our constitution: Equality before the law? Both, in case of content removal and content restoration.
The danger of trusting ever-changing Big Tech.
Big Tech has gone far left and had become part of that anti hindu / anti national eco-system. As I write this, there’s massive upheaval in their ivory towers, because a billionaire has bought Twitter. The deal is yet to come fully into effect. But people on the right, or anyone sane in general, are everywhere rejoicing.
Good riddance to that “woke mind virus”, as the buyer itself put it. Or at least lets celebrate for regaining the freedom to call it out.
Freedom.
Now that’s a giant word.
They have, on both right and left, started debating what would happen to Donald Trump now? Elon Musk, the new owner of twitter, had hinted that he’d reverse the ban on him. Who knows?
The point is Freedom.
In the name of which all major social media companies had deplatformed a sitting president of the world’s biggest Super Power, Donald Trump.
Why?
Because his speech, according to them, led to a situation where common american people’s biggest symbol of freedom, their Capitol Hill, was attacked. And a democratic process of vote-counting was allegedly threatened.
An year later, on 26 January 2021, a much bigger mob of alleged farmers led an attack on India’s Symbol of Freedom, the Red Fort, on a day that’s celebrated because its the day Constitution of India came into force.

It turned out a tool-kit of seditious conspiracy was in play, Co-Authored by an far-left eco-activist Disha Ravi, with equal support from Khalistanis like Mo Dhlaiwal and Anita Lal but also from entitled international brats like Greta thunberg, Rihanna and Mia Khalifa, a toolkit which was choke full of not just fake news but extremely dangerous material, like hashtags of ‘Modi plnanning farmers genocide’.
Given the sensitivity of the situation, Indian government asked twitter to block 250 such handles. But twitter, which had acted on its own to deplatform a man like Donald Trump, refused to follow Indian government’s order saying it’d “violate their fundamental right to free expression under Indian law.”
That’s a major point that needs to be explored.
But before that, lets all remember that lots of things have happened even before and after that giant hypocrisy.
A completely non-exhaustive list of social media and Big Tech’s anti Hindu bias.
In may last year, government asked twitter to remove a “manipulated media tag” about yet another tool-kit, this time made by Congress, to malign BJP about pandemic, using “friendly journalists” and “influencers”. Twitter again dragged its heels, which led to yet another stand off.
But twitter did not put a “manipulated media” tag when that infamous loni gaziabad assault case happened, where an old man abdul samad saifi had his beard cut in a dispute regarding personal enmity but alleged fact checkers and journalists (perhaps the same ones congress referred to in its tool kit) tried to give it a communal color by saying it was done because he was a Muslim and forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram.’ That one involved the vicious anti-Hindu propagandist websites like the Wire and Alt-news which rely on alternate facts as truths, donation fraud accused Rana Ayyub, out-of-job actress Swara Bhaskar, Saba Naqvi, Sharjeel Usmani, Salman Nizami and so many others. That incident was so big that even twitter itself was dragged to court.
One of Bollywood’s few right wing celebrity acting icons (even though her commitment has come under suspicion since she hosted Ekta kapoor’s Lock Upp which involved, among other things, the rabid anti-Hindu alleged comedian Munwwar Faruqi), Kangna Ranaut was summarily deplatformed by twitter. She and her sister both.
Action was also taken by Big Tech against Kashmiri Pandit genocide survivor Aarti Tikoo Singh and her brother, for speaking against targeted killing of Hindus by Islamist terrorists. Aarti ji, who had no intention of this taking lying down, moved Delhi High Court, after which twitter cowed and suddenly decided she hadn’t broken any community guidelines.
As far as court is concerned, famous twitter account holders Skin Doctor, Wokeflix, Megh Bulletin, Befitting Facts also had moved court when twitter took biased decisions to remove them from the platform just because they were right wing or nationalists.
But the biggest question is this:
All these cases got the limelight because they’re celebrities. They’re powerful people. Thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of other people follow them.
Common people.
Like you, who is reading this article; or me, who’s hoping that OpIndia considers it big enough to allow it on their main page.
What about people like us?
Celebrities can generate enough traction among their fans that Big Tech would capitulate on its own. If not, they can move courts.
How many of us can really avail either of those options when Big Tech deletes our tweets, posts, reels, memes, comments, whatever?
How many of times have you wondered when you’ve become victim of mass-reporting; or heck, just a single report; or perhaps not even that, because Big Tech decided your content violated their opaque community guidelines but at at the same time, you can see Left Liberal eco system and Abrahmics’s rabid anti-Hindu content escaping not just any kind of voluntary scrutiny by Big Tech but also your reports bringing it to their attention.
How many times have you felt helpless? And prayed to Bhagwan for a solution to anti-Hindu bias prevalent in the world, that, more often than not, leads to their killings by Islamists terrorists, and not just in Kashmir.
Democracy, Freedom of Expression, Equality before the Law and Social Media.
Let’s finally circle back to February 2021 and twitter’s claims that blocking some people’s accounts would “violate their fundamental right to free expression under Indian law”.
1st of all, Twitter – or for that matter any Social Media company, is not, repeat, not the guarantor of protection of any Fundamental Rights under Indian constitution.
As Meta pointed out in its affidavit to the court: “Meta does not perform an inalienable sovereign function.”
Damn right, they don’t!
But where they’re failing, is this part: “Meta is a private party, and Instagram users in India enter into an agreement with Meta when they register to use the Instagram Service. The Instagram Service is a free and voluntary platform, and petitioner (Wokeflix) has no fundamental right to use it.”
And this: “Petitioner is erroneously trying to define Meta’s action of disabling their post and account as a quasi-judicial act, when it is merely action taken in accordance with a private contract and has resulted in a contractual dispute between two private parties. Given that the relationship between Meta and petitioner is purely contractual, and that Meta does not have judicial or quasi-judicial authority, petitioner’s attempt to obtain reliefs in the nature of certiorari should be denied,” Meta added.
Except they’re missing a crucial point: No contract can run afoul of relevant regulation under which it comes. And Social Media companies are not like just any other company. We’ve seen how they can affect even election outcomes. But even before that became apparent, Social Media companies on internet were “allowed” to come into existence on a single promise, called “safe harbor principles,” which simply means this: That they’d act as an intermediary. They’ll not act as an interfere-y. They’ll not alter the content of the user in any way, shape or form. Only then, can they be absolved from any liability from the content user is posting on their platform. If they started interfering with the content of the user – like deleting it on their own, amplifying (or minimizing) its reach, banning a user randomly – they become a “Publisher.” And hence they have to comply with all the laws and regulation that comes with becoming a publisher. (Let me tell you, it involves criminal prosecution and even jail time.)
So technically, what should happen on social media, is zero moderation from the company’s side. Somebody has a problem with someone else’s content, they can complain to government or take it to the court. Those two institutions will decide what action to take regarding people’s speech. Not the social media company. That way, equality before the law is maintained as it should be.
So far, Social Media companies have been blatantly violating this solemn promise. They’re moderating user’s content according to their own whims and fancies while also claiming immunity from assuming any legal responsibility for the user’s content. That not just violates, but practically nukes the sacred notion of equality before the law, of both the users of social media companies and regular publishers.
On 25 February 2021 – a month after that blotch on our constitution that was Republic Day Riots – government announced a comprehensive updated regulation regarding Social Media Intermediaries, called IT Rules 2021. Twitter had initially refused to follow even that. That’s why they’ve been dragged to the court regarding Loni Gaziabad assault case hot on the disputed beard of Abdul Samad Saifi. Because by refusing to follow IT Rules 2021, their protection from the law of the land under safe harbor principle was gone. They’ve been treated as publisher, and hence liable for all the criminal content on their platform.
And that’s exactly why, they had to eventually comply with the IT Rules 2021, no matter how much they grumbled about it.
Under those rules it was declared that any Social Media Intermediary, who has total of 50 lakh users or more, across all of its services/apps, will be considered a ‘Significant Social Media intermediary’. And they have to do additional due diligence.
That included appointing 3 people, who must be employees of the company and resident of the India:
Chief Compliance Officer: Tasked with ensuring SMI is complying with all Indian laws.
Nodal Contact Person: This will be the person government and courts will contact in case of… well, any case.
Grievance Redressal Officer: Person who’ll acknowledge and resolve all grievances of social media users, both regarding removal and restoration of their content.
There were other guidelines but these 3 were main, and especially the last one.
That was the user-facing aspect of the regulation.
Plus, there were supposed to be two more tiers if the users were dissatisfied with the decision of Grievance Redressal Officer.
1.) A self regulation authority as tier 2 with a retired supreme court or high court Judge as its chair person.
2) An inter ministerial committee as final tier 3.
Unfortunately tier 2 and 3 never came to the rescue of Indian users because they were never formed in the 1st place. And the tier 1, grievance redressal officer, who, by the IT rules 2021 itself, was required to be an employee of the company, would be acting as the regular biased moderation as before, because remember: They take their salary from the company, so they have no reason to go against its ideology in the name of fairness.
A ray of hope
Seeing the inefficient, if not blatant disregard, for the regulation, government has decided to update the IT Rules 2021.
Under the proposed amendment, government has made 2 crucial changes.
First is the explicit mention of this: “the intermediary shall respect the rights accorded to the citizens under the Constitution of India.”
The second is a Grievance Appellate Committee to which anyone can raise their complaint, if they’re dis-satisfied with the decision of the Grievance Redressal Officer. This committee will have to give its decision with in 30 days, and all of its decisions will be binding on Social Media companies. Furthermore, if anyone is dis-satisfied with even the decision of Grievance Appellate Committee, they can approach the court against it.
Mark my words, this is the single biggest change social media sphere has ever experienced.
This way, a route to equality before the law has been established. As well as making sure, that SMIs don’t censure people beyond the reasonable restrictions defined under Article 19.2 of the Indian Constitution. In that, its the same measure as the proposed polish regulation on social media.
And that’s how it should be.
Content that doesn’t violate national law, should remain where it is in national cybersphere.
If it does, then it should go, at least from the national cybersphere, no matter what any foreigner’s moderation rules say.
And that right there, is what this is all about.
Freedom.
Freedom from colonialism.
Freedom to choose our own fates.
Freedom to have our nation and live by its laws, rather than the laws foreigners impose upon us.
And let me tell you, it is not just idealistic rhetoric. Its very real and very close to you and me.

Let me ask you a question: How many of you have actually taken 5 minutes out of your busy lives and bothered to read ‘terms and conditions / user agreement’ of foreign Big Tech / Social Media you daily use?
You haven’t?
Fine, but I have.
And if you haven’t, then I suggest you read them, and then come tell me which court and which jurisdiction Big Tech agrees to submitting itself to. And by extension, asking you to agree to submit to that particular jurisdiction as well, in case of any dispute regarding the ‘Contract between 2 private entities.’
Most of the time it’ll be some court in California, USA (sometimes Europe.) And unless Akhand Bharat involves Silicon Valley, and USA/EU had decided to already gift itself to us, out of some generosity regarding racism and joint hatred for British, the law of USA/EU will apply in case of a dispute between you and social media, rather than the law of India.
Those are the terms and conditions to which you hastily ticked on ‘I agree’ box. Submitting yourself to foreign rule.
So tell me, what kind of a situation is this where a company will be allowed to come in India, do its business with Indian users, but the company itself will live by Foreign laws?
Does the name ‘East India Company’ rings a bell here?
A request with folded hands
There’s one last point I’d like to make, a request.
Maybe government introduced IT Rules 2021 just a month after Republic Day Riots, but the process for it had started way before. 2018 in fact. Government had asked public comments on it from 24/12/2018.
Do you know how many people gave their opinion before such a crucial policy came into effect?
Only 171!
and 80 counter comments to those 171!
Imagine that!
Based on these mere 250 or so suggestions, government formulated a policy that was going to decide fates of crores of Indians. Most of them young. So its not some old people talking about oblique and boring business law. Its about how you’ll use Instagram, what you’re allowed to say on Twitter and forward on WhatsApp.
Perhaps that’s why IT Rules 2021 proved insufficient. Because people themselves didn’t pitch in.
With folded hands, I want to request all my fellow young Indians and especially the Right Wing nationalists, let the government know what you think about Big Tech’s (mostly biased) moderation and how it should be handled in India? Any other suggestion you might have about it as well.
Don’t think ‘what good it’ll do?’ Its not some random complaint to a random government functionary. Its part of the democratic process. Emails sent to them will be used in deciding ‘policy’ regarding social media. It’ll be a matter of public record. If enough of you said one thing, and government still decided to do something that favors Left Liberal eco system and Abrahmics, then it’ll have to answer uncomfortable questions later on. Heck, when that anti-Hindu ‘ Dismantling Global Hindutva’ conference in USA was organized by rabid anti-Hindu haters, HAF organized a campaign that saw Indian People sending so many emails of protest to the universities that backed this anti-Hindu conference, it crashed email servers for some of them!
We get so charged up about something that’s technically happening on foreign soil and hence under foreign jurisdiction, but we don’t have time to tell what we think, to an entity that’s legally bound to answer to We, The People of India? Something that could actually make a difference towards reducing this mass, hysterical anti-Hindu hatred online?
If nothing else, it’ll establish a direct link for governmental responsibility, for not removing incendiary content that could result in the beheadings of other Kanhaiyalals, who merely supported other Nupur Sharmas.
So please, I urge everyone: take a little time to decide what you think about these amendment to IT Rules; what you want against Big Tech moderation; write it down on an M.S. Word or PDF file and then send it to these 2 emails Ministry has provided :
In case you’re unsure, I’ve compiled a list of 16 suggestions here . On archive. Its an MS Word file which I sent as suggestion to MeitY regarding the proposed amendment a little while ago. Some of the these suggestions include their explicit mentioning in terms and conditions that they’ll abide by Indian laws in case of Indian users. Others deal with fines in case they act biased. Still others implore upon government to not include so-called Civil Society or anyone that has a vested interest in trampling other’s freedom of speech while amplifying its own.
By no means its everything there is. You are free to go through these suggestions, add or subtract as you wish. Or come up with a your own. Maybe you want to increase the fine on Big Tech in case of violations, or perhaps you want to add criminal liability. Or something completely different. Whatever you decide, do let the government know. If you are satisfied by my suggestions only, then just send them on to the Ministry on the above emails.
Remember: The more you pitch in, the more data government will have about ‘Public Opinion.’ And the better it’ll be able to formulate policy. Or that’s how its supposed to be in a democracy.
We can only do our part as Citizens of this glorious, independent and sovereign nation called India. And that’s all we need to do.
Remember what Bhagwan Krishna had said: You can only do your karma, let the fruits of it be decided by me.

And one last request to editors of OpIndia: Please, I beg you. Use your reach, among blue ticks and commoners, to let them know that we have this one chance to rein in the Big Tech in India. Amplify the message. Urge them to send the emails containing their thoughts about big tech’s biased moderation and the solutions in the proposed amendment. It doesn’t have to be this post. Perhaps you can write a better one. I’m only interested in securing everyone’s freedom of expression as defined under Article 19.1 of India. So that no body, especially Hindus, have to suffer from Digital colonialism in Free India.

The recent murder of Kanhaiya Lal, a Hindu, in Udaipur of Rajasthan (India) by two Islamic bigots may look gruesome to civilized society, but not to the Muslim community. It has been the latest example of hatred-filled violence approved under Islam. The Left-Liberal gang may keep on crying Islam is the religion of peace till eternity, but the inherent hatred and violence of Islam towards non-Muslims are loud and clear once again. While Muslim apologists complain of hate speech towards Islam and them by non-Muslims, Quran and Hadiths have been the original fountainheads of hatred towards non-Muslims since about 1300 years.
An ex-Muslim has opined “Islam is an ideology of terror. Whatever Muslims do, comes straight from their holy books. Apart from Hadiths, the Quran is explicit about killing the non-Muslims. There are many verses where the Quran commands the killings of non-Muslims in graphic details”. There are at least 170 instances in Quran which direct Muslim to kill or fight the non-Muslims.
Islamic God is perpetually angry, abusive and violent against those who do not follow him. He is more like an ogre. The relation between Islamic God and his followers is like that of a master-slave relationship. Islam’s prophet, with all the characteristics of a brutal tribal warlord of seventh century Arabia, was accepted by the Muslims as the most ideal man who ever walked on earth.
As per Islamic teaching, all Muslims must have Akeedah. It is one of the primary requisites to be a Muslim. Akeedah means creed, that is, religious belief. Unlike Christian creed, Akeedah has to remain in the hearts of Muslims and cannot be spoken. Akeedah makes Muslims secretive and distinctly separate in non-Muslims surroundings.
In Islam, the revelations from Allah are mostly fear-arousing. Akhiriyat, Jannat and Dozakh are the main tools of Allah to instill absolute fear in the minds of Muslims. Quran and Hadiths have made Muslims a fearful herd under a totalitarian Allah. Akeedah has driven the final nail into the coffin of rational thinking for Muslims.
Under Islam any doubt or question about the religion is not only discouraged, but also strictly forbidden. When something is not understood, the only resort allowed to Muslims is Allah knows the best. The two fundamental duties of Muslims are praising the Allah and Jihad. Allah is not sure of his survival without constant praise from his followers. And Jihad is the fight in the way of Allah to convert all non-Muslims of the world before Akhiriyat.
For Muslims across the world, Jihad is no choice. It is a religious obligation. Allah has made Jihad a win-win situation for them. Those Muslims who survive and win a war against non-Muslims (Jihad) get Maal-e-Ghanimat (war booty). But those Muslims, who die in the Jihad, go to Jannat straight.
Accordingly, conquering non-Muslim land and people through unprovoked violence and aggression came naturally to Muslims till the beginning of twentieth century. In human society, such aggressions, attacks, violence and destruction have been commonplace. But Islam is unique in the sense that it gives religious justification and sanctity for such activities.
The new geopolitical situation developed after WW-I had changed the classical approach of Islamic Jihad. There is no more Islamic aggression on non-Muslim countries. But Jihad has to continue unabated. So Jihad through terrorism has become the cornerstone of Islam now. Additionally there are Love Jihad, Propaganda Jihad, Media Jihad, Victim-Card Jihad, Democratic Jihad, Constitutional Jihad, Threat Jihad and Encroachment Jihad etc., one can find in non-Muslim majority democratic countries.
The two strongest Islamic tools to maintain the herd of Muslims together through fear are anti-apostasy and anti-blasphemy laws. Any Muslim who leaves Islam has to die. The same punishment is also reserved for anybody who criticizes Muhammad or desecrates Quran. No trial is needed in such situation and the punishment can be executed by any Muslim even the son or father of the alleged offender.
Islam has institutionalized and sanctified hatred, violence and killing of non-Muslims, who are collectively called Kafirs. The murder of Kanhaiya Lal was indirectly related to criticizing Muhammad. Muslims are taught not to tolerate any criticism of the prophet. They grow-up like a gang of violent psychopaths. Moreover, killing the critics of Muhammad is his Sunnah too, which Muslims are bound to follow.
To Muslims, this life in the world is unimportant and they should do everything in this life to please Allah to get a berth in Jannat hereafter. This has made Islam exploitative and destructive of nature also. They cannot care about anything except conquering whole non-Muslim world for Allah. They can’t question, reason or seek explanation of the violent teachings of Islam. Muslims are perpetually in a do (Jihad) or die situation.
So, Terrorism has no religion and Islamophobia are the two most fraudulent arguments put across by the gangs of Islamists, Leftists, Anarchists and Politically correct world leaders in defense of Islamic misdeeds and violence. While Islamist gang needs to hide its real agenda of Jihad, the evil Leftist gang clings to Islamist gang for the sake of its survival. The Anarchist gang finds in Islamist gang a prime-mover in spreading anarchy across the world, and the political leaders of non-Muslim democratic countries have become the victims of their misplaced idea of secular multi-culturalism.
The violence in Islam gets another support in form of peaceful majority, that is, majority of Muslims is peaceful. But this peaceful majority is also silent majority and gives tacit approval for Islamic violence. Moreover, the argument of peaceful majority has been found to be irrelevant in case of Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan of WW-II, USSR under Stalin, China under Mao and present-day North Korea under Kim Jong-un. It is now Catch 22 situation for both the leaders of non-Muslim democratic countries and peaceful majority Muslims.
Meanwhile the most powerful group of Muslim Brotherhood has penetrated the Western academia, Social platform like Twitter and News Papers like The Washington Post and The New York Times and TV channel like BBC by bribing. And all those remain on top gear 24 x 7 x 365 to defend Islamic Jihad across the world. India has its share of such news portals like Alt News, The Quint, The Wire and NDTV etc.
As per Standard Islamic Narrative (SIN), Muhammad was born in Mecca during 570 AD, had first revelation from Allah in 610 AD, Miraj happened in 621 AD, did Hijrat in 622 AD, and died in Medina in 632 AD. But the reliability of SIN is highly doubtful. There is no scientific evidence that Mecca existed even during the first half of the seventh century. So the Islamic beliefs of Abraham’s visit to Mecca and his construction of Kaaba are baseless.
The SIN was developed during ninth and tenth centuries of Christian era, that is, about 200 to 300 years after Muhammad’s claimed year of death and in places far away from Medina. The existence of historical Muhammad, as we are told today, is highly doubtful. The Quran and Sahih Hadiths give an impression that, barring inconsistencies, plagiarisms, repetitions and contradictions; – Allah was alter ego of Muhammad and Muhammad was the alter ego of Ulema and Abbasid Caliphs. The whole of Islam was constructed, with retrospective effect, to develop a violently exclusive but religiously cohesive community of people called Muslims, to serve the socio-political purposes Arab Kingdom.
The creators of Islam possibly could not foresee that it would become the state religion of 57 countries with further spread of followers to large parts of Asia, Africa and the West by twenty-first century. Muslims are the second largest population in the world after Christianity. The current total global Muslim population is about 1.8 billion. As the violent ideology of Islam was created for imperial purpose, it started becoming irrelevant in modern world order. But Islam’s core obligation of Jihad remains valid even today.
Recent murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Rajasthan by Islamic terrorists was followed by insensitive comments from many Muslim countries and Jihad-supporting Indian journalists on the said murder. This clearly states that the modern, secular, inclusive and open world-order has miserably failed to neutralize the curse of Islam and put the Jinni of Jihad in the bottle human reasoning. Thus the trail of Islamic violence on and killing of non-Muslims across the world will go on indefinitely.
It takes time to bring about change, whether it is in humans, in nature, or in animals. Water, fire, air, soil, and our own mind, must have taken many years to come together in one form. Thousands of changes must have taken place, then only this earth has been made in its correct shape for us to live in.
Why are we starting to fear this change?
Sometimes a state is burnt, sometimes stones are thrown at someone, is this our identity?
To date, the governments have made many efforts to provide employment, but in that too they were impossible because due to the fraud, those jobs could not reach us.
Everyone wants a job, and a good salary, but no one will think about where the money will come from, if the government starts spending money blindly on us, then it will take only a few months for India to become Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday unveiled the recruitment drive for Army ‘Agneepath’. Under the ‘Agneepath’ program, 46,000 soldiers will be eliminated. Children in the age group of 16 months to 21 years will be imprisoned for 4 years on a contract basis in all three services. Most would then be forced to retire. They do not get any allowance or pension benefits. As per the previous plan, the working hours have been reduced to 4 years as per the new constitution, resulting in at least 15 years of service.
The situation in Bihar is not good, the rioters have their own laws, which are considered right by them, whatever is wrong.
Everyone has to drink water, no one wants to fill the pot. Everyone has to fill their stomach, no one wants to cook. Seeing the fire you can cry, but no one wants to extinguish it.
After watching the Kashmir Files I came across many articles, write-ups, rants and what not about how the justice was not done with the Kashmiri Hindus even after 32 long years, how we should act now regarding this issue, how this directorial account throws light on what happened in Kashmir on 19th January 1990. I totally agree with all of them even I wrote 2 kind-of emotional rant/article. But on 13th March 2022 I came across one rant which threw light on the then government how they were incapable of handling the situation and even being in a coalition power with Janta dal the Bharatiya Janata party didn’t do or say anything about the situation at the time all this happened.
We all know that BJP has been the flag bearer against article 370 and article 35A who claims that everything that happened in Kashmir is due to the Congress Raj which is just ridiculous because in records it’s clear that during that period Kashmir was under governor’s rule and the Central Government was under the ruling of a coalition government of Janta Dal and BJP so it’s clear that Congress party didn’t have a stick in the burning pyre. But, that’s basically judging a book by its last chapter.
So, let’s try to look it in a way which I found most infallible. Yes I understand it’ll not be something which is gospel but it’ll be something par for the course because nobody can know what went through BJP’s leaders minds and why didn’t they pulled their support from the government exactly after the that tumultuous episode of Kashmir so I just went by connecting the dots about what happened in Kashmir from 1984 to 1990 for the question of how Islamic extremism grew in Kashmir under the rule of congress.
India got independence on 15 August 1947 and soon after the first war with Pakistan broke out on 22nd October 1947 and went on till 5th January 1949. The main result of the war was the creation of POK which we all can blindly give credit to JL Nehru who went to the UN for mediation without discussing it prior with his government’s cabinet ministers. This new land acquired by Pakistan became the nucleus for terrorist organizations to setup training camps for new inductees from India which is the exact situation till today. Now, let’s look at the situation which led to the Anantanag killings of 1986 and the infamous Kashmir exodus.
After the death of Sheikh Abdullah in 1982, the Prince of National Conference Farooq Abdullah was appointed as the president of National Conference and was sworn in as the Chief minister of Kashmir. After 2 years of being in power, his brother-in-law G.M. Shah broke away a faction of National Conference leading to the collapse of his government and his dismissal. Shah became the CM with support of congress. His government was dismissed after the Anantanag killings of 1986 and the governor’s rule was reinstated.After the 1986 killings the then prime minister Rajiv Gandhi “tried” resolve the issue of Kashmir by crediting Farooq Abdullah as his best bet to solve the Kashmir problem and he did so by signing the Farooq-Rajiv accord in November 1986 which reinstated the prior as the chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir.
This accord was opposed not only by the sitting opposition but even the Congress leaders like Mufti Syeed and Arun Nehru. Even the intelligence reports to Rajiv Gandhi mentioned about Farooq Abdullah’s connection to anti-national forces in Kashmir but he ignored all opposition and the Farooq-Rajiv accord was signed. On 7th November 1987 he was again sworn-in as the Chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. For the time he was chief minister, insurgency and militancy reached its peak in J&K. After becoming the CM as his first landmark move he released 23 hard-core terrorists only to see Kashmir leading to the brink of disaster.
The trite argument was to allow them breathing space to enter main-stream politics. The trained terrorists went on destroying peace in Kashmir, resorting to loot, murder and arson, creating conditions for snapping the ties of Kashmir with India.As it is rightly said by Prof. M.L. koul in his book Kashmir past and present that Farooq Abdullah deliberately ignored the sinister activities and violence of the anti-India forces, which at the very first look appeared working at the behest of a neighboring country. There was no check imposed on the Muslim youth crossing over to the camps set up in POK. Any action proposed to check the outflow was stifled allowing things to happen. That the Muslim youth going in buses operating from Lal Chowk in Srinagar to Bandipora in district Baramulla and conductors crying hoarse that they were on way to POK were not stopped by law-enforcing agencies and bus owners neither arrested nor punished. The central leaders aware of the emerging lethal situation ignored it posing as models of inertia and non-governance.
Weren’t this be considered as sowing of seeds of something gruesome and disastrous for the state of Kashmir under the regime of the government of Farooq Abdullah with a back-end support of the then Congress govt. and can we not deduce that Farooq Abdullah knew about this massacre prior to its occurrence because Farooq Abdullah resigned just one day before the dreaded date and expecting the newly elected govt. of V.P. Singh to understand the Kashmir situation which was at its peak during the last months of December 1989 in a span of 1 month that got built under the Congress govt over a span of 5 years is utterly preposterous. Secondly, expecting the BJP to do something in that situation can never be understandable because BJP provided outside support without holding any role in the cabinet.
Thirdly, expecting BJP to pull its support from the government cannot be justified because if govt. was dissolved at such insurgent times and Congress being the largest party in Lok Sabha might’ve brought them back to power which might’ve helped in worsening the situation in Kashmir’s favor. At last, why didn’t Indian Army didn’t do anything because the army didn’t have carte blanche in Kashmir because the armed forces special powers act was imposed in Kashmir after 10th September 1990, a total of 100000 soldiers were busy with the Sri Lankan civil war commonly known as LTTE and without facts I cannot conclude that the then Home Minister Mufti Muhammad Syeed was involved with the anti-national elements but we can assume that he was scared of those elements due to the recent abduction of her daughter maybe that’s why he didn’t mobilized the remaining army in Kashmir.
Now, I’m at the last dot which is I think is the full stop so, after connecting all the dots and before adding the full stop we call can agree that the seed of Islamic extremism was sowed under the Rajiv-Farooq regime and blaming anybody else for the fruit that the tree gave in 1990 is just laughable.
India is essentially a nation of diversities. Unity in diversity caters the essence for the golden dignity of its composite culture. Since the Vedic period, the inclusion of internal and external ideas in the composite culture has been the specialty here, so assimilation of any cultural diversity is accessible and achievable in India.
In this context, religious associativity has also been one of these characteristics, a striking example of this can be seen in Sufism, where the golden amalgamation of Islamic monotheism and some of the characteristics of Indian religions took place and resulted in the successful emerge of a syncretism religious ideology, but in recent times, over the years, India’s cultural diversity is getting transformed into cultural disparity, due to which there is a loss in harmony among people as well as a negative effect on cultural characteristics.
No one expected what happened on Friday, June 10. The incident put a big question on the political sense of Muslims in this country. In many parts of the country Muslims came out on the streets in large numbers after the Friday prayers (Jumme ki Namaj), and what happened then again gave strength to the politics of polarization in this country. There were sloganeering, stone pelting, arson, police firing, lathi–charge, and the picture changed very fast. There were violent demonstrations across the country. An atmosphere of hostility and terror was created. But one thing to note here is that such violent demonstrations have only reinforced the ulterior motives of the vested groups (both religious and political).
By the end of the day everyone started condemning the violence that was orchestrated in the name of protest. The anger that was for Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal until the day before the protest, suddenly turn towards the rioters and their supporters. In the process of extremism of the minorities, those citizens who have no association with BJP and its ideology also change their opinion in support of Nupur Sharma. Now people have started rising their voice in her support too. Posters were put up and pamphlets were thrown in support of her in some towns in the country.
Well, after Nupur Sharma’s controversial remarks about the Prophet in a TV debate, her statement was condemned by people from all corners of the country. The matter was about the Prophet of Islam, so it is natural that protests were made in other countries of the world as well. Qatar was the first to protest. After this many Islamic countries expressed disapproval of the statement and few even summoned Indian envoy in their country. The ruling BJP succumbed to the pressure, first issued a statement and talked about the equality of all religions, and then suspended Nupur Sharma and expelled Naveen Jindal from the party.
Subsequently she issued an apology, saying that her intention was not to hurt anyone. However, the question arises that when the Islamic countries have consented to the BJP’s action on Nupur Sharma, then why did the protest in India not stop? Obviously some people want to create unrest in the country for their political purpose. At the same time people who are spreading violence in the name of protest in the country knowingly or unknowingly are nourishing the dirty divided politics of these political parties.
But everything is political these days and this is normal in a democracy. And there lies the biggest failure of the Muslim minorities in this country. The common people of the community having little political sense get carried away by emotions without considering their advantages and disadvantages. Every now and then the religious leaders bring new illusory things in the name of faith which is regressive and against modernity and the values of the contemporary age of science and rational thinking. It is said that if your din (religion) is hindered by your education, then decline the education. In the name of safeguarding Islam, its culture and practices, they advocate gender inequality, do not support women education and women in job.
The immoderation of anything is not good. A peaceful protest that turns violent is bad. A criticism that crosses the limits of freedom of speech is also not right. Intellectuals are of the view that such incidents are outcome of intolerance in the religion and are the biggest obstacle towards the national integration of India, as this ideology emphasizes the essential unity of one’s own community against other communities. Thus such events promote belief in orthodox principles, intolerance and hatred towards other religions, leading to division of society. Time and again the incident on Friday, June 10, proved that lack of political sense, over emotional attachment to religion, surging religious extremism, and most of all, by not recognizing the enemy within who always stops the community from being progressive, Muslims in India pushing them backwards.
When there is a say “excess of anything is bad,” the truth that no one is ready to acknowledge is extremism in the religion. It can’t be christened spiritual extremism as there’s no place of extremism in spirituality. The problem is imbibing religion madly. The community has to take ownership of this issue and remain vigilant. This problem can’t be solved by the government and law enforcement agencies alone. Only responsible Muslim leaders and organizations can address the real issue of extremism.
In today’s time, religion is used by various political parties to fulfill their political benefits. Communalization of politics as a process increases the intensity of religious violence in the country along with promoting communalism in India. The lack of value-based education in Muslim youth makes them fall into the words of anyone without thinking and blindly imitate.
Social media plays an important role in promoting communalism due to the rapid spread of fake news in the country. Audio-visual dissemination of riots and violence through social media instigates the violence much easier and faster. These dehumanizing graphic depictions of violence add to the general public’s hatred of other communities. Instead of adhering to journalistic ethics and neutrality, most of the media houses in the country appear to be particularly inclined towards one or the other political ideology, which in turn widens the social divide.
Factors such as unequal level of development, class division, poverty, and unemployment etc. create a sense of insecurity among common people. Owing to the feeling of insecurity, people lose faith in the government, as a result, various political parties, which are formed on communal lines, are resorted to by the people to fulfill their needs and interests. Due to lack of trust and mutual understanding between two communities, a sense of fear, suspicion, and danger arises in them. So many are of the opinion that education, prosperity, modern thinking, new initiatives will take the Muslims in India forward.
Like other such incidents in past, this one will also be subsided. Political graph of some people and parties will go up. Some religious leaders and organizations will create wealth. But no one knows how long the rioters against whom cases have been registered by the law enforcement agencies will remain trapped in this. They will be named and shamed in public, penalized, their houses will be bulldozed.
Moreover, such violence traps innocent citizens too, brings loss of life and property, promotes vote bank politics, and affects social cohesion. It causes serious damage to religious harmony in the long run. It also affects constitutional values like secularism and fraternity. In such cases, the families of the victims have to bear the brunt the most, they have to lose their homes, loved ones, and even means of livelihood. It presents a challenge to the internal security of the country as the citizens of the country are involved in both the instigators and victims of such violence.
When the view expresses only responsible religious leaders and organizations can address the real issue of religious extremism in the country, there is no intention of disregarding the responsibilities of the government and law enforcement agencies absolutely. The law enforcement agencies need to be well equipped and local intelligence networks need to be strengthened to prevent such incidents. Peace committees, including notable citizens and religious leaders from the community, can be set up to work together to spread goodwill and remove the feelings of fear and hatred in the people’s mind.
Value based education should be imparted to the common people and specially the youth of the community, so that they do not fall prey easily into anyone’s words. In addition to scientificity and rationality in curriculum, there is also need to emphasize value-oriented education, focusing on the excellence of children in schools and colleges based on the values of non-violence, peace, secularism, compassion, and humanism.
Finally, strong laws are needed to stop repeating of such incidents in future. Although there are Sections in IPC and specials laws such as UAPA, NSA, PSA, etc. are there and applied, depending upon the facts of the case, by law enforcement agencies, this is not enough to desist the perpetrators of such acts. The existing criminal justice system should be reformed to provide speedy trials and adequate compensation to the victims.
महाराष्ट्र में सत्ता के लिए चल रही खींचतान अब अदालत की परिधि में आकर एक नए दौर मे प्रवेश कर गई है। सत्ताधारी गठबंधन महाविकास अघाडी की एक अहम घटक शिवसेना के भीतर हुई बगावत के बाद से यह स्थिति बनी हुई है कि मौका मिलते ही दोनों पक्ष नया दाव चल रहे हैं। हालांकि फिलहाल ऐसी तस्वीर उभर कर सामने नहीं आई है कि भविष्य में राज्य की सत्ता किसके हाथ में रहेगी।
एक ओर, ज्यादातर विधायकों के बागी गुट में चले जाने के बावजूद मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे राजनीतिक बिसात पर नई चाल चलने के साथ-साथ नियमों के सहारे पदों के निर्धारण की कवायद भी कर रहे हैं तो दूसरी ओर विधानसभा में अयोग्य ठहराए जाने के खतरे के बीच विद्रोह करने वाले गुट के नेता एकनाथ शिंदे सियासी दांव को मजबूत करने की कोशिश के साथ-साथ अदालत की शरण में गए हैं। इसका तात्कालिक असर यह हुआ है कि उन्हें एक तरह से कुछ दिनों की मोहलत मिल गई है, जिसमें वे अपने पक्ष में समर्थन जुटाने के लिए सियासी गुणा-भाग को और पुख्ता कर रहे हैं।
दरअसल, बागी विधायकों को सदस्यता के अयोग्य ठहराए जाने के मसले पर सुनवाई के दौरान सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने महाराष्ट्र में विधानसभा अध्यक्ष के साथ-साथ सभी पक्षकारों को नोटिस जारी किया है। इसके तहत पांच दिनों के भीतर अदालत में सबको हलफनामा दाखिल करना होगा और ग्यारह जुलाई को अगली सुनवाई तक सभी पक्षों को यथास्थिति बहाल रखनी होगा। जाहिर है, इससे एक ओर जहां उद्घव ठाकरे को बागी विधायकों की सदस्यता अयोग्य ठहराए जाने सहित कुछ फौरी कार्यवाइयों के जरिए हालात को अपने पक्ष में करने के मोर्चे पर थोडी मुश्किल पेश आई है, वहीं एकनाथ शिंदे और उनके समर्थक विधायकों को कुछ और वक्त मिल गया है। हालांकि शिवसेना में इतने बडे पैमाने पर बगावत की खबर आई थी,तब भी एक तरह से यह साफ था कि बागी विधायकों के इस कदम को पीछे कोई बडा आश्वासन हैं।
शुरूआती दौर में ऐसा लगा भी कि एकनाथ शिंदे के गुट का पलडा भारी पड रहा है और उद्घव ठाकरे अपने कदम पीछे खींच रहे हैं। लेकिन इसके बाद पिछले कुछ दिनों से उद्धव ठाकरे और उसके पक्ष की ओर से जैसा सख्त रूख सामने आ रहा है, उससे ऐसा लग रहा है कि बागी गुट का रास्ता शायद आसान नहीं हो। हालांकि अदालत की ओर से यथास्थिति बहाल रखने के आदेश के बाद संभव है कि कुछ दिनों के लिए उथल-पुथल में थोडी नरमी दिखे, लेकिन इतना साफ है कि दोनों पक्षों के बीच जैसा ठकराव सामने आ चुका है, उसमें किसी अंजाम तक पहुंचना ही एक रास्ता रह गया है। मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे ने प्रकारांतर से इसका संकेत भी दे दिया है जब उन्होनें नौ बागी मंत्रियों के खिलाफ कार्यवाही की और उनके मंत्रालय छीन लिए।
खुद एकनाथ शिंदे के विभाग का कार्यभार सुभाष देसाई को सौंप दिया गया। जाहिर है, उद्धव ठाकरे यही जताने की कोशिश कर रहे है कि अडतीस विधायकों के चले जाने के बावजूद वे आसानी से मैदान छोडने वाले नही हैं। यों शिंदे गुट ने महाविकास अघाडी सरकार से समर्थन वापसी की घोषणा कर दी है, मगर गठबंधन ने अन्य घटक राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी और कांग्रेस फिलहाल उद्घव ठाकरे सरकार बचाने की कोशिश में हैं। अब शिंदे का गुट अपनी सदस्यता बचाने के साथ किसी तरह भाजपा का समर्थन हासिल कर लेता है तो उद्घव ठाकरे की मुश्किल बढ सकती हैं। बहरहाल,सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद देखना यह है कि अगले कुछ दिनों मे राज्य की मौजूदा सरकार और बागी गुट के पक्ष में कैसे समीकरण तैयार होते हैं।
