On a smoggy evening, boy wrongly holds stranger girl’s hand in Delhi, resulting in two breakups

0

New Delhi. On a smoggy evening, a boy in mid twenties wrongly held a stranger girl’s hand in the capital city. The mishap resulted in two breakups with immediate effect, it is learnt by OP India.

“My boyfriend is a hopeless romantic. He always holds hand in public and is never shy of any kind of public display of affection. Even though I secretly like his gestures, I always used to be wary of circumstances. Our city helps us a lot. No one normally bothers to look at us. In recent weeks, no one actually could look at us, even if they so bothered. Then this boy goes ahead and hold hands of a bimbo and spoils everything” the girl told OP India.

“I didn’t notice it at first. Actually, I couldn’t notice it. He didn’t hold my hand for 10 minutes and I started to feel something was wrong. I stretched both my hands and looked for him and missed to find him. The battery powered hair dryer came to my rescue, as I deftly removed the device out from my handbag and blew the smog around me. It was horrific to see him holding hands of an absolute bimbo. In fact, I had caught them before something more could happen” she further added about the uncompromising stand her ex-boyfriend was about to take, despite the smog.

“I saw my girlfriend holding hands with this weird looking guy. I couldn’t see them initially to prevent this holding of hands from happening. Actually, I couldn’t see anything around me. Then there was a blow of hot air from someone standing close to him and everything became visible to everyone. With a heavy heart, I broke up with my girlfriend of many months” the boy involved in the second break-up of the evening from that area told OP India.

“The moment I held her hand, I realised that it was someone else. I tried to shake my hands away but the girl gripped on to a strong hold. It was not my mistake” the break-up number one told Faking news. “I thought it was my boyfriend who never holds hands, and really is hopeless and not a romantic. Until the hot air from a raging girl, I didn’t see a thing” the girl, only known as a bimbo among everyone involved, told OP India.

Post the incident, many couples from the capital city are asking the government for some kind of an odd-even rule for relationships too, it is now learnt by OP India.

Learn from others’ success and be successful

0

Experience is said to be the best teacher. Like we learn from our own experiences and move forward, we can get inspired by success stories of others too. It is equally applicable for individuals, organizations and even nations. If it benefits us and the society, we can learn from good examples of even our enemies.

According to reports, China’s social media and video game major Tencent has become more valuable company than Facebook. The success of Tencent is phenomenal.

Here we are not attempting to analyze the pros and cons of Tencent’s success. The fact is that a purely China-centred company has overtaken global giants like the Facebook. The success story of Tencent is worth studying and replicating.

Tencent’s stunning success is a wake-up call for Indian entrepreneurs. Why can’t we start an Indian version of Tencent? We have the talents and skills with the best information technology and digital experts available locally. We have the resources and infrastructure. There is no dearth of innovative ideas in India. Then, what is stopping us?

It can be argued that Facebook and Twitter are blocked in China facilitating a conducive monopolistic business climate for Tencent to flourish. Whereas, India has been the favourite playground of global IT and digital giants. Partially true. Partially because if we develop a “desi” version with competent features and offerings at par with global players, we can certainly succeed. The Indian government should patronize such ventures.

We are not advocating for banning or blocking foreign players. We are only suggesting to make use of our superiority in competency and entrepreneurship in full. Don’t limit it to IT and digital spaces. A globally dominating Indian company in any field is welcome.

Yes, we do have our own highly successful corporates. But nothing to compare with Tencent.

There is sense in the argument that China is not a democratic country like India. To succeed like China, we don’t need to adopt a one-party system. For us, our multi-party democracy is the best system. What we need is government protection for swadeshi companies and their products and services of global standards, at affordable costs, so that foreign players won’t exploit our vast market.

Let us hope our government and entrepreneurs will rise to the Chinese challenges and become successful sooner than later.

The double standards of Bollywood over Padmavati and freedom of speech

0

Bollywood has always been vocal and ahead in inspiring and educating people of ‘Say No to Tobacco’, cleanliness, and many other initiatives beneficial to public in general. it is assumed that celebs are the role model and are considered as above any discussion and are the final and effective word.

There are instances where Bollywood was not vocal and hide in infinite silence, where double standards were clearly visible and judged by the people. Following are the instances where the double standards of the film industry were exposed.

FILMS: The first and top most incident I rate is the controversy around filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s ”Buddha in a traffic jam”, Country’s leading left wing organisations were gunning at the Director as he dared to showcase the plight of population in Naxal affected Bastar district of Chattisgarh. Film showcased the actual plight of poor villagers and provided solutions to uplift their life standard. This angers the left minds, as filmmaker was invited to universities across the country to showcase the film, he was attacked, threatened with dire consequences by the left student wings. More surprising was the fact that not even a single Bollywood celebrity (who are very vocal in every incident happening around the country) spoke in favour of the filmmaker. Vivek Agnihotri was fighting a lone battle. When it came to Censor Board issues with ”Udta Punjab” and recent Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ”Padmavati”, Bollywood united like a lost family reunion, Vivek Agnihotri supported the freedom of expression and the release of ”Udta Punjab” as well as the smooth release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ”Padmavati”, but fought a lone battle with the release of his film.

Similar incident occured with National award winner filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. His film on black spot on democracy, ‘Emergency’, was opposed by the Congress party. He was almost held hostage inside hotel before the press release of the film. In the words of Mr Bhandarkar, “We are like hostage in the hotel room. We had to cancel the event. The hotel management asked us not to step out as the cadre is here since 1 pm. Since the last three hours, we have been locked in one room. My whole team is in the room”. Surprisingly no Bollywood celebrity stood for the freedom of expression of National Award winner filmmaker. He was forced to make cuts as well as mute the words in order to release the film ‘Indu Sarkar’

Recent controversy around Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ refuses to die, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was attacked during the shoot of the film by fringe organisation called Karni Sena. He was dragged, beaten and threatened with dire consequences if he depicts the Rajput community in a bad light. It was bit strange as well as fact that no one knew the script except the film crew, how come one jump on the field and sing a song with no lyrics? Some even said that it was publicity gimmick by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it will die down before the release. Whether it is a gimmick or a reality, no fringe has right to take law into their own hand to stop the film and Freedom of Expression of the Filmmaker. Latest is Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shown the film to media editors much before showing to CBFC, doubts emerges as to who wants to keep the flame burning. CBFC later returned the Censor application citing some technical lapses. The Industry stands united like a Rock with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and supports the smooth release of ‘Padmavati’.

PREACHING: Bollywood Filmmakers and celebs preaches honesty and love for the Country round the clock, but when it came to bribing the critics for favourable reviews, signing the Pakistan artists, film funding, their voice is paralyzed from the bottom. Several instances where our country and forces were abused by the Pak artists, but Bollywood celebs choose to remain silent considering their film and money interests. The celebs who preaches health is wealth were seen doing drugs in private. Celebrities can be seen abusing off camera and doing all sorts of misadventures not recommended in general.

NEPOTISM: Nepotism has been a hot topic round the Year after controversial and correct remark by Kangna Ranaut on the show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Karan Johar was so offended by the comments that he wrote a complete blog on the remarks made by Kangna. The debate ran through columns and screen media for days. Every celebrity gave their take on nepotism and justified or denied the existence of nepotism. Nepotism is the hard reality which exist in Bollywood and all other Industries. This is a fact that the star child gets the silver screen presence easily and if he is not capable, he is made to fit the silver screen, but talent and hard work is what needed for all of us to survive. Nepotism is and will always be a part of film Industry no matter what the talks are.

MAFIA Bollywood has always been surrounded by the Mafia waves. Before it was underworld mafias dominating the film production and distribution, film distributions were decided on the table, as to which film will get what number of screens just to surpass the total number of shows of the rivals film. This benefits the weekend collection and if the film were good, it benefited overall. Over the years Mafias in Bollywood have changed their strategy, with the disappearance of underworld from the main scenerio, a new lot has emerged, which controls the film industry and its aspects.

Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut had a public fallout. When Karan called Kangana on his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, the actress openly slammed the filmmaker for running a movie mafia and flag-bearer of nepotism, many in Bollywood and in general were not surprised by Kangana’s remarks. Last year In a shocking series of tweets, actor Ajay Devgn has accused “self-proclaimed critic” Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) of taking money to malign his film ‘Shivaay’. In an audio clip, KRK said that filmmaker Karan Johar paid him Rs 25 lakh to praise his film, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil ‘(ADHM), and trash Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’, both of which released on Diwali last year. Earlier in 2012 also, Devgn had filed a legal complaint against YRF accusing them of indulging in unethical business practices over the number of screens allotted to ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ that released on the same day as Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardaar’.

Big studios or producers indeed playing in a game getting more lot of screens to trash the rival films. Big producers easily get what they want as no screen owner will favour new or small film makers to take hate with Big Film families who are into films through their whole life and are continuously making films. Mafia is indeed active in film industry Big producers paying to kill other films either through paid reviews or snatching screens.

Why the movie ‘Padmawati’ is facing protests, one must not reject everything as ‘fascism’

0

There’s an insidious campaign to project Padmini as a mythical figure, a creation of Malik Mohammad Jaisi, writer of epic Padmavat. The TV channels, after being propped up by the Bollywood chatterati, has tasked upon themselves to give the certificate of credibility to the historical fiction being served by Sanjay Leela Bhansali as a movie based on the Jauhar of 1303 in Chittorgarh when attacked by Allauddin, the Sultan of Delhi.

The movie prefaces the entire build up on Jaisi’s epic poem wherein a courtier by name of Raghav disgraced by Rawal Ratan Singh, ruler of Mewar went to the court of Allauddin and told him about the beauty of Padmini or Padmavati.

Jaisi in his epic has used all the imagination which can be ascribed to his genius by telling that Padmavati belong to SinhalDweep or Ceylon or Srilanka. A poet can be allowed to run wild with his imagination but a historical movie made on the story needs better corroboration than just the excuse of Artistic Creativity and FoE, whatever that may mean to be Left Liberal elites.

In fact, Padmini belonged to Pugal, Bikaner and was a Bhati Rajput, her maternals were the Sonigurras of Jalore of Biram Dev fame. Because, Jaisi took the liberty of creativity in his poem doesn’t mean that Sanjay Leela would distort the story to meet his commercial interests.

It maybe premature to criticise SLB for Padmavati having not seen the movie but if the fears expressed by the Rajputs and other Hindu organisations are anything Leela Bhansali should have shown the movie to the selected committee of people, Rajputs, historians and organisations.

If Bhansali can show the movie to selected TV channels who do his and Bollywood bidding, he may well have shown it to others to curb the violent threats, arson, law and order situations. There seems to be a well thought out and designed conspiracy to promote the film through controversies, by outrageous statements by the actors, with the Chatterati playing the role of FoE saviours. The judge, the jury and the prosecution the over the counter shouting anchors of Prime Time TV.

Another reason why this film has created such a backlash from the Rajputs and other Hindu organisations is the fact that there’s a feeling of victim hood among the majority community in general and the Rajputs in particular. The picturisation of Rajputs as villains, cruel Zamindars, lecherous and the exploiting class has reached an end. The community feels aggrieved and abused by such vile picturisation.

Yet another reason is that unlike other communities, Rajputs are proud inheritors of a lineage running a thousand years with corroborated evidences in our records kept from posterity. It’s not just another story adapted for a film. It’s the history of their forefathers who gave their lives for the nation and the Dharma. Leela Bhansali must have discounted the outrage over a film after all Bajirao a similarly distorted film saw very little protests. Bajirao, the bravest of Peshwas and Marathas was lampooned as a manic lover who could not come to terms with his love for Mastani, daughter of a concubine of Chatrsal, the Bundela chief.

SLB should have kept his promise of pre-viewing Padmavati for the Rajput community, it would have solved the entire problem but I think SLB has deliberately obfuscated the issue for cheap promotion of the film Padmavati. The political parties are bound to jump in where a prominent vote is disillusioned with the system and wants to assert itself with more than peaceful manner.

Modernization of lifestyle and modernization of cities: Who is winning?

0

Sprint of the sports day, top rank of the class, cut off list of university admission, interview for a job, top rank in the annual performance review, expensive acquisition to announce social stature; we are suckers for competition where there is no second place. Competition has somehow imbibed itself in our DNA to such an extent that we have transpired it to represent the way our cities and towns appear nowadays.

Inside

The fact that India is one of the youngest nations in the world may have something to do with it, but being connected globally, physically and virtually with increased incomes have enabled us to a large extent to experience and appreciate the way we now perceive our interior spaces.

Most of our youth spend most of their waking hours in the office space they work in, whether it’s in India or abroad. Architects and interior designers have over the years innovated and refurbished many an office space to ensure comfort without compromise on productivity. Over the years the office cubicles, partitions and cabins have melted away in open work spaces with breakouts, discussion areas, cafeterias, collaboration spaces with open ceilings and state of the art technology all within the arms length of an employee. This has not only enhanced the experience of working but also ably cut down on hierarchy in office culture thus making it a more enjoyable space.

Employees of such new age offices designed on the Google, Facebook, Adobe or Apple office palette carry forward the experience of working in such offices they join or set up in course of their career, thus bringing a vast change in the design of office spaces across the country. This in itself is a large subject but the gist of the matter is the influence it has on the people who work in such spaces.

The same employee, travelling globally for business and leisure is exposed to the modern luxuries of living. They seek the Soho look, the Greek villa, the ultra luxury apartment, the premium residence, and so on as their home when they return from office. Call it as you may like, there is a growing demand and supply of interior spaces which are being designed and built in these palettes across the length and breadth of the country. Such influences can also be seen in the way the new shopping malls, restaurants, pubs and resorts, are being designed and constructed these days. Thereby creating ensembles of pluralist architectural expressions of design and style garnering the common essence of fluid and comfortable living.

Out

If I were to continue in the same breath ‘out’ would be like: paved sidewalks with bicycle track separated by a lawn followed by rows of Neem and Gulmohar trees on either side of glistening asphalt four lane roads, bathed in the morning sun with trees swaying in fresh breeze.

It is actually like this in a few ‘posh’ localities sprinkled across the country within walled premises with high security and laden with facilities, making it a self contained micro township. But in most cases the reality is rather dusty with potholes and tongue in cheek security and environment.

Like male Indian actors who refuse to accept their aging selves, Indian cities are aging badly. From ancient cities like Benaras to the relatively new ones like Kolkata are following a path of slow decay of their urban environment. Planned (new) cities like Chandigarh, (Lutyen’s) Delhi and Jamshedpur have only a radius where planning stops and rest is a surround of dishevelled ensemble of shanties and narrow roads and livelihood on garbage heaps. While people who live and or are responsible to maintain the towns and cities are building palaces within walls, what’s on the outside is allowed to be the result of hapless convolution of population, pollution, growth, greed and mismanagement like a repugnant excreta of an uncontrollably growing organism. The result of not being able to control this organism in infancy is being poisoned by its vile emanation beyond which just leads a city to a point of no return.

Saying no to crackers for one day in a year, dismembering sidewalks to widen roads to accommodate more vehicular traffic, cutting trees to make four lane roads, one day drive to clean rivers, large donations to build wider railway over bridge in the face of stampede are only reactions to the terror in the face of evil.

The outside is mostly shaped by randomness in functional use of space or capricious land use, unstable and changing local regulations, reactionary intervention, and mostly commerce over rationale of urban planning. In most cases, our cities have little or no regard for the pedestrian, thus in general encouraging pollution and overcrowding at tight junctures, where state machinery fails to match the pace of the organism’s growth.

What is noteworthy is that it happens over and over again in cities and towns of developing nations scrambling to react to population explosion like a predestination loop of urban calamity.

The Great Divide

There is an invisible wall that separates what’s inside from what’s on the outside. This invisible facade separates the two worlds born at the same time but have since veered in different time zones. The one on the inside, with its eagerness seems to have dialed the numbers of a time machine and zipped into the future, while the one on the outside has preferred to languish and be reactionary in refusing to rediscover itself with time.

What then is this wall? It’s not the facade of buildings separating the roads from interior of buildings. It is an unrecognised competition between people who build spaces on either side of the wall, one which is driven by desire on the inside and ubiquitous policying on the outside. It would only be apt to share a story to understand people on either side of the wall better.

Somewhere in a city a stretch of four lane road divided by a row of trees was flanked by residential buildings on both sides. There lived the working middle income group of the city in its laid back homely stupor. However, with the intent of garnering more business in the area to acquire higher revenue, the local authorities applied selective bye laws applicable to suit the road width to allow commercial establishments to be set up on either side. As time passed, residential buildings let out the ground floors on rent to businesses ranging from restaurants, shops, offices to swanky showrooms and built upper floors for rent and residence. And in a span of few years the population in the area trebled, with more need for parking which started spilling onto the roads and with time the four lanes became two with the side lanes turned into pedestrian walkways, with spots for street vendors and shop and showroom displays.

The residents who gave off the ground floors on rent modernized their home interiors to luxury residences causing the real estate prices to shoot off the roof in the area. And as the roads became congested and dirty, they complained about the pollution and deteriorating urban conditions. In due course the local authorities reacted to the complaints by cutting the trees in the median and replacing it with raised curb to expand the roads and a few years later replacing the curbs with piers encroaching on the roads to support a raised metro track through the middle of the streets adding rows of auto rickshaws and the rest as they say, is history.

History though has a habit of repeating itself and it appears in different cities and towns covering the cityscapes in its shroud. And the players in the game are always on either side of the wall competing with each other with mutual disregard for the betterment of the city itself. The challenge though is to transform this from competition to fruitful collaboration with the objective of making our cities a better place to reside holistically from inside-out.

However, presently there is only one side of the wall that is winning the competition, the Inside.

“Padmavati”: Leave her alone, enjoy the film

0

The controversy over film “Padmavati” is quite unfortunate, to say the least. It is yet another illustration that how rigid and narrow-minded we are becoming. The polarization of misguided elements with a dubious background and atrocious attitude is a dangerous trend indeed. What is more alarming is, these venomous elements are getting political patronage too, especially from those who claim themselves as the cultural caretakers of the nation.

Historical authentication of Padmavati (or Rani Padmini) apart, what is at stake is free thinking and free expression. What is wrong with taking an episode from the past (real or imaginary) and creatively re-presenting it with creative inputs? Whose culture or tradition is getting offended? It is a Hitlerian culture that the creativity of a writer, director or any artist should be fashioned suiting the powers that be or the fringe groups nurtured and nourished by them. Is it not so that these fringe elements are trying to “Talibanise” Indian polity?

A film, novel and for that matter, any piece of creatively portrayed art, tarnish the tradition, culture and faith is totally baseless. If it were so, Christianity should have been wiped out from the face of the earth long ago because there have been anti-religious writings and shows galore in the West which still continue unabated. One classic example is the series of novels by Dan Brown, a few of them were made into Hollywood blockbusters.

Portraying American Presidents, other authorities and institutions by their names is normal in English writing. Take the case of “JFK”, a 1991 Hollywood film directed by Oliver Stone on the assassination of American President, John F Kennedy. Of course, there were differences of opinion in the media and among intellectuals about the content and storyline. The critics have seen the film and raised their voice. However, nobody threatened to set ablaze the cinema halls or put a price on Oliver Stone’s head. In India, can we imagine a film or novel on Gandhi’s assassination putting the blame on the fanatic religious fundamental groups?

In reality, these fringe groups are not concerned at all about culture, tradition and pride of their clan. In Bhansali’s Padmavati they got a convenient scapegoat to capture headlines with the tacit connivance of those in power. Imagine the awaiting calamity when these self-styled messiahs of culture and tradition get rewarded in the next elections by their political Godfathers!

Yes, somebody has very well said, there are hardly any Indians in India. Despite the new-found mal-intentioned patriotic fermentation, we are all, in fact, Hindus, Muslims, Christians or Sikhs as well as Brahmins, Rajputs, Yadavs, Patidars and so on.

It is time for the real Indian citizens to come forward, unite and resist the cultural and religious fascist elements to safeguard creativity and free flow of expressions.

Skill India – Modi Govt underdog policy to shape up New India

0

We all keep on hearing news about unemployment, lack of skilled people, the gap in professional education and practical jobs requirement. While most of it is untrue but providing skill training to a population of 40 crore young Indians is not a small task.

Have we ever thought how we can overcome these problems and utilize new opportunities or better create new one. The current government is heavily focused on bringing the best in youth, be it by way of startup India movement or by skill India.

Skill India is a campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi on 15 July 2015 which aim to train over 40 crore (400 million) people in India in different skills by 2022. It includes various initiatives of the government like “National Skill Development Mission”, “National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2015”, “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)” and the “Skill Loan scheme”.

Apart from this, in real life scenario, every student once in his lifetime must have thought that the classroom education has not been sufficient to prepare him for the actual market. This is because seldom we see our curriculum focusing on practical applications or teaching by way of doing. But In the current era we must be happy that we live in this digital age, we all have an easy and pocket friendly access to technology. Be it mobiles or laptops and with our government on our side technology is becoming easily accessible for all.

Now, this depends upon us how we decide to use this new age digital revolution to our advantage, this era has unfolded a plethora of learning avenues. Be it Youtube or Wikipedia or many cost effective application and websites for developing skills online.

Let us now understand how we may make our lives better by improving and constantly upgrading our skills, without having to pay a hefty amount for the same.

In traditional teaching system, the students are often bored sitting in fix classrooms and same timings, online tutorials, online courses in today’s time have overcome these drawbacks and now the skill development courses are available for anyone and everyone and that too anytime and anywhere. This flexibility and access of knowledge has yielded a new form of startups working in revolutionizing the learning and skill development. Also in last few years favorable business environment in India has seen rise of education startups like BYJUs for preparing on various competitive exams. Unacdemy for short video tutorials on various test preparation or engineering curriculum. ILMS for online law courses in India. Culture alley for learning languages. EduKart for online access to distance MBA, EMBA, BCom etc.

Our Government is working day in and day out to create a population of skilled young Indians and with infrastructure improving leaps and bound there is no reason any citizen will be left behind. Its time for citizens to embrace technology and create a New Skilled India.

Why are some journalists and ‘activists’ dying to deny ‘Love Jihad’?

0

“Eminent Intellectuals” from Bollywood and Twitter Activists are well-known for their Hypocrisy on important issues in India. All time bashing and making Hindus go on guilt trips, these folks go in denial on Muslim Extremism. One of those issues is Love Jihad & enforcement to convert into Islam by deceptive means exploiting human emotions.

Yesterday, International troll cum Dolt Economist Dhume sir proclaimed that there is no such thing as Love Jihad . Never disappionting NDTV journalist Nidhi came up out of nowhere to support agenda.

How shameless deniers these folks are can be known from the fact that just two days ago, a Mumbai based Model had accused her husband of torturing her for not converting to Islam. She also claimed that the Muslim guy (her husband) recently remarried a woman and has now asked her to walk out of his life.

There have been many more such cases. Muslim Extremists convert Hindu women in the name of Love Jihad and if girl denies than they even beat her up. A famous case is from Jharkhand where a national level shooter fell victim to this trap.

Here are some more cases of Love Jihad & enforcement of convert to islam in a Twitter thread. Horrendous and horrifying, but somehow these journalists can’t see:

But “Eminent Intellectuals” will still not outrage on this issue and keep denying it.

An open letter to Mallika Dua

0

Dear Ms Dua,

First of all, I must admit honestly that I haven’t seen any of your work and neither i am interested in. That being said, I am huge admirer of AIB – the comedy group that you frequently work with, and regularly watch their videos though I may not agree with some of their antics or acts as you may call them. But we live in a democracy where there are disagreements, and that’s why we are world’s largest democracy and not a theocratic states like one of our close neighbours.

I have only come to know you through your brief stint of a TV show where you had an altercation with Akshay Kumar, and recently little controversy over your tweet on nepotism, which some people found odd because of you being the daughter of one of the India’s most well connected and well known journalist – Mr. Vinod Dua.

You had recently tweeted regarding nepotism in the industry you belong to. I find it foolish and highly ironic  how someone like you, who is living in the shadow of her popular father can even say that. Now don’t get me wrong me here but only I in my family know who you are, but my parents, who are in their mid-fifties, are well aware of your father’s work in the field of media. I still recollect my father watching a culinary show hosted by your father on NDTV India – ‘Zaika India Ka’ and being a huge admirer of both him and the show.

You may thump your chest saying that your father’s name got you some traction, but the rest depends on your talent, but people perhaps much more talented than you are still struggling and waiting for their first chance. Take Kapil Sharma for instance, he is a self-made man in your industry and struggled for many years before he tasted success and recognition. You on the other hand have already appeared on national television. Your Wikipedia page calls you a internet sensation, but look at the irony, I barely knew about you and your till recently, and trust me I use the internet a lot. You yourself are a product of nepotism in a way.

Now coming you to you and your father’s highly publicised altercation with Akshay Kumar. You have called his remark on you sexist and even wrote an open letter regarding it. Now funnily enough, the group that you work for AIB have a slang in their name, and who can forget about the AIB Roast. Now comedians like you giving gyaan is a bit too much to take.

You guys continuously make sexist remarks and use abusive language, but when someone questions it, you hide under the veil of Freedom of speech and expression. I guess you guys think that when abuse and sexist remarks are made in English, they are humourous, and when the same remarks are made in a “dehati” language like Hindi, they become crass, vulgar and cheap. AIB was abusing and making all sorts of crass remarks in the roast. I am sure you being an active member of the group had some creative input in that show. Why this hypocrisy? Maybe Akshay meant in a humorous and funny way like you and your colleagues do.

Please stop being a hypocrite, you are a comedian, if you can’t take a joke on yourself, why are you even in this profession.

Note : I am not in  support of Akshay Kumar nor the comments he made.

Why I think BJP will win Gujarat elections

0

Gujarat assembly election was and is always remain in limelight than other state of India. Since 2002, Gujarat Election is not only making impact in India, but many countries in the world also look at with strategic interest.

Our great liberals & MSM call Gujarat as “Hindu Laboratory” as people of Gujarat rejected the so-called secularism and chose real development oriented administration of BJP.

The 2017 election is also bound to make an impact on India. Main reasons are : Home state of Prime Minister + 20 years BJP rule + GST + Demonetization + Patidar Anamat Andolan.

All Election related discussions are happening around these topics only.

Let us see how these work on ground level.

Home State of PM

Obviously, Gujarat takes proud of Modi as Chief Minister for 12 years and today also we Gujaratis are proud that a person from grassroot level elected as PM is from Gujarat.

Gujarat never thought about his caste, education, personal life (although there is nothing more than his marriage related matter), his status in BJP. Gujarat simply voted Modi for his dedication to work for the people of Gujarat, his work ethics and his “measurable & visible performance”.

Among last two elections, 2007 election was nothing but a single man fighting with all corrupt force within party, government and opposition. Modi himself traveled all the corner of state, far remote villages in a specially made vehicle. Modi was one man show in 2007 election and fought against all odds. People believed him and chose him.

Last one in 2012 was easy because, for Gujarat it was not “election of CM” but “election for PM”. No one ever thought that a CM of state would have been so popular and made impact on entire country, BJP almost forced to declare him as PM candidate. He worked and left with such high performance standards that succeeding CMs struggled to meet those.

There is large section of people who take pride in “Aapdo Modi”, will defiantly vote for “Modi only”…yes “Modi only”. Such a faith on him that people don’t see who is CM but have blind faith like: “Modi will take care of state as PM also”.

Anti-incumbency

Team Congress is crying high and showing Anti-incumbency against BJP.

Is there any such reason with people at large for anti-incumbency? Electricity? Roads/infrastructure? Water? Law and Order? Corruption?

Completion of Narmada Dam, water up to Kuchh & Saurastra, Visible progress in Sauni Yojana,  24 hr power supply, Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana, best road network & many projects are under construction, potable water via pipe to home in more than 95% villages and recently inaugurated Dahej-Ghogha Ferry services – these are few projects which directly benefit to everyone. People are happy with “Home+water+power+roads” and enjoying benefits of all these.

Law and order is in control. In fact, it is Congress + allies who want to make it unstable via caste politics in recent time.

Unlike many other states, there is not a single corruption charge against BJP in 20 years which made any CM to face court trial or resign. One single most reason people continue to vote for BJP is clean administration of 20 years, which Gujaratis didn’t see in any other state and even at central government till 2014. I feel there is no strong anti-incumbency factor against BJP.

In fact, people have anti-incumbency against Congress for their massive scam and for them having treated Gujarat as “untouchable state”. Forget about any development related work, Congress never talked any good about Gujarat.

GST

GST is favorite topic of everyone. One can give a day long lecture on how businesses that used to make fortunes before GST, now start making losses. Too much return filling and documentations and what not are provided as examples of that.

Congress & Rahul Gandhi particularly have choosen GST to defame PM Modi. Rahul Gandhi can’t make any speech without mention of GST. Local newspapers and even national newspapers also print big headline with inputs from “falana & dimka community” of politician + expert + businessman.

Rahul Gandhi chose Surat as favorite picnic spot for GST blabber. He visited textile market & diamond polishing unit to cry about GST.

What Rahul Gandhi doesn’t know is, the nature of diamond business is different than other commodities. Up to a level, diamonds are being traded without any bill, on a piece of paper, and one can still do it. No one can force any normal diamond traders for GST enrollment. In other words, the business has its own set of system that run of “faith only”. When there no “Bill”, where do one need GST?

What these people don’t tell is, unlike earlier, there is no tax authority for harassment since GST is rolled out. Sales Tax inspector, Service Tax inspector, Excise inspector… all are gone. Corruption and “ease of doing business amount” that businesses used to pay are no more now. Nexus of Tax Consultant-Tax authorities which used to harass & blackmail businesses is almost out of business. There is no “Malai” available. No politician can make call to GST authorities to guard fraud businessman and say “jane do, mera wala he” as all transaction has to be put online.

Also people are seeing how Modi government listen to them and make changes in GST to further make it Good and Simple Tax. The dream of Rahul Gandhi to reap benefit of GST in election will not succeed.

Demonetization

Another favorite topic to bash PM Modi. Don’t want to write about financial benefit of “notebandhi”, but let’s see social angle.

Common man welcomed it with big heart. First time people realized promise of PM Modi about fight against black money. Although everyone felt some or other difficulties, but supported it.

People were happy as some of their rich relatives who never ever helped them, called them and ask for help. “khata ma jagya che?? (do your account has limit to deposit?)” was most asked question on phone and “atyare vapro, pachi nirate aapjo (you can spend now, return later)” was popular offer. it was such a dream golden time for lower middle class and poor people. First time they got “reorganization” from rich class. People will never forget it.

In general business, people used the currency to made due payment and repaid borrowing. Most of old due payment were made clear in “cash businesses”. Almost all small business had “settled” their old due and rebooted business with new India.

Truth is large section of people believe that  PM Modi will do second “notebandhi” of 2000 & 500 currency note soon, and waiting for that.

Patidar Anamat Andolan

Congress & team tried every topic to en-cash vote, but their maximum stake is on Patidar Anamat Andolan. Congress is batting heavily on it. BJP Chief Amit Shah rightly said that Congress has “outsourced” Gujarat Election.

But again, Congress failed here also. Congress doing it like “losing gambler plays double”. One needs to understand my Patidar community in detail to check the effect of this ‘andolan’.

Patidars – mainly Kadva & Lauva Patel – have strong hold in Gujarat. Patidar community is well know for business – Diamond, Textile, Construction, farming, engineering. Patidars have succeeded in almost every section of businesses.

It is not only business, Patidars are first to show social maturity and self-correction within community. 10-12 years back the two main castes – Kadva & Leuva patel- united as one and removed caste barrier within community and become one as Patidar.

One can find many successful Patidar businessmen not even high school pass-out, who have built schools / colleges / hospitals for community. Many patidars migrated from small villages and built big business in towns. This success stories are without any caste reservation or any help from government.

When it comes to reservation system, not only Patidar, but many communities in country are giving thought on it. Since few years, the demand for re-look on reservation policy started on various stage and social media push further the cause.

Truly speaking, from bottom of heart, Patidars are not in favour of getting in OBC quota, but the demand is to get help for economically weaker section of All General/Open Category students is the main and sole purpose of the Aandolan. Traditionally, Patidars know that OBC reservation is evil and don’t want to be in it.

But sadly, the good cause movement is hijacked by political puppet and the entire movement lost its direction and purpose.

Those who have seen Ahmadabad or Surat Patidar rallies, can see banner like – “This andolan is not for 2 rupee kilo rice or wheat, but for the future generation” and “Say No to Caste Based Reservation”. This only shown intention of Patidars.

Look at below pictures of Ahmedabad rally:

People themselves joined it voluntarily. It was done with micro planning by Patidar community people and many volunteers gave their efforts.

Hardik Patel and his team is not having any such capacity to organize such huge rally on their “own capacity”. It was people’s movement “till that day evening”. But then what happened is known to all.

People realized that the movement was hijacked and now it’s in hand of a political ambitious “misguided youth”. People feel cheated when Hardik Patel and PAAS declare their only purpose is to defame and defeat Modi & BJP.

Media and Congress are hell bent to project Hardik Patel as “Chota Sardar” and “Leader of Patidar”. It is nothing but insult to our Sardar Patel & Patidar. Recently surfaced sex CD of Hardik Patel made people realize what he is up to.

Why Congress in not looking at history?? It was Patidar who supported Modi as CM although BJP removed Patidar stalwart Keshubapa. Even Keshubbapa & group tried every trick to defeat Modi, but patidar never look at with “Caste Pride” and supported Modi only.

During his speech on reservation, Shri Hukamdev Narayan Yadav rightly said to Congress in Loksabha – you have polluted the “kheer” and made it salty, added “salt” instead “sugar”, now asking BJP to rectify and prepare same kheer as “sweet kheer”.

Every caste should realize that it is Congress that created the reservation monster, not BJP, and if today anyone asks BJP to solve it “right here right now”, practically and socially it is not possible. Patidars know it very well. Patidar have experienced horrible caste politics and KHAM theory of Congress.

For first time since 2002, Congress is not talking anything about the Godhra riots or minorities in Gujarat. This only shows that how cunning Congress is and want to take undue advantage of caste politics.

2017 Gujarat Election is a chance for my entire Patidar community to show the nation a way — it’s time to come out of caste politics and support “Vikas”.
