In a statement on Saturday, the Finance Ministry said in the statement that the first year had been remarkable for both its implementation challenges and policymakers and the curiosity and efficiency of the tax administrators, who made due diligence for emerging challenges.

Prior to the introduction of the new indirect tax system, there was a disturbance in the taxes imposed by the central government, state governments and local bodies in India. The Ministry said, GST has had an unprecedented impact on the Indian economy and it has proved to be a game changer because it has changed the complex system of indirect taxes that take place at many levels and is replaced by a simple, transparent and technology The motivating system has arrived.

It was only completed.
  4. Apart from the traders, more than 68000 companies have been registered under the GST till the beginning of March.

Donald Trump’s Trade War

0

President Trump is a man on a mission. His administration has categorically targeted every one of its allies. The protectionist measures employed by him has sparked off a fear of global recession, one that was witnessed in 1930’s. What might have instigated him? one might wonder. Was it the growing presence of China? Or the colossal trade deficit with major economies of the world? Or both? Let us evaluate.

Trump ran for the office with a promise to either negotiate or rescind the pacts that he felt was giving America a raw deal. So far, he withdrew from the Paris Accord, Trans-Pacific Partnership and Iran Nuclear Deal. He also promised to renegotiate NAFTA and the NATO military funding.

In February, Trump announced a hike of 25% and 10% on steel and aluminium imports respectively. Sending across shock waves across the globe. It was believed to be aimed at China for its failure to address the growing deficit between the two. But it must be noted that China meets only 2% of raw materials requirement of the U.S. Furthermore, the move seems to have backfired as China has vowed to slap a retaliatory tariff on American products.

Besides, Canada and Mexico have expressed their disgruntlement, so has the European Union. India too is not far behind, by announcing a tariff hike on 29 products(excluding Harley Davidson, which has been the bone of contention between the two) it has made it stance clear. Although, it has taken a stab at reducing the deficit by offering to buy oil, gas and defence equipment worth USD 5 billion, which will significantly reduce the deficit which currently stands at USD 23 billion. Any further aggression towards its trusted ally might further dent the ties between the two countries, especially after the immigration episode.

With Trump administration showing no signs of slowing down. It won’t come as a surprise if major economies of the world come together to isolate America on the key issues on a global platform. Or Trump might become successful in bringing back the lost glory that America was identified with. His stellar domestic record cannot be discounted.

With the concern over the trade mounting each day, the world is watching in anticipation what the mercurial President has in store for them.

You can’t keep snakes in your backyard and expect them to only bite your neighbours

Barkha Dutt, India’s one of far leftist journalist and most junior in the field of fair journalism, most beloved for her compassionate presence on Twitter has been using the otherwise noxious platform to help anti-Indians stranded in far-flung corners of the globe.

She has used Journalism with the biased view to providing sensitive information by live coverage to anti-nationals who need such information during the state of real emergencies like Kargil war and 26/11 Mumbai attack which ended up causing loss of the life of our great soldiers and innocent civilians. While her detractors have sometimes mocked her for being reduced to the post of a Twitter journalist, I was shocked by reading an article written by Barkha Dutt in a well known international news outlet The Washington Post regarding the recent issue with Sushma Swaraj, India’s foreign minister and most senior female politician in the government.

The article was regarding a recent tweet attack on Sushma Swaraj by Twitter trolls. In the article, she is claiming the attacks were from RW trolls. How could such an established news agency publish such illogical content? In the article, she is claiming that the right-wing trolls attacked Sushma Swaraj if you call someone RW Troll then how could you expect them to troll their own leaders?

As I mentioned earlier, she is an expert in publishing biased view, the same thing was done with the article in The Washington Post, The said issue is under further instigation, The couple mentioned in the media as inter-faith couple is found to have claimed a passport by providing a wrong address and with the wrong name in their application.

It was a strong reaction from the people who got angry when a hurried decision was taken by the authorities without verifying the facts, The authorities ordered the transfer of the officer-in-charge on the fake story fabricated by some media outlets to earn some quick TRP and thus by creating a propaganda they made the so-called inter-faith couple famous in no time.

Furthermore, the journalists like Barkha Dutt and team jumped in to get some cheap publicity by framing the abusive trolls as RW trolls and what not. They have even claimed that the whole episode is linked to Islamophobia.

Such a propagandist and attention seeker journalist reminds me of what Hilary Clinton once said about Pakistan:  “You cannot keep snakes in your backyard and expect them only to bite your neighbors.

The question is my mind right now is, can there be an antidote for such kind of venomous journalism?

Vidura- The Man of Righteousness

0

Vidura is the embodiment of intellect in Mahabharata. It is believed that Dharma himself took birth in the form of Vidura. In the Mahabharata, his voice is treated as the voice of reason and wisdom. That is why Vidura’s statecraft or Niti is a precursor to the Chanakya’s Niti. Vidura was the half-brother of Dhritarashtra and Pandu. He was blessed to be a sagacious person so he was appointed as the Prime Minister of Hastinapur. His unmatched intellect became the reason behind Dhritrashtra taking his advice on various matters of governance and that became his most famous’ Vidura Niti’.

Vidura has been credited with the saving of the lives of the Pandavas many times when they were in exile. One such instance is that of the plan of the burning of the Lac House (Lakshagriha) by Duryodhana. The Lakshagriha was built under the directions of Duryodhana and his uncle Shakuni, in order to burn alive the Pandavas and their mother Kunti. It was made up of lac which is a highly inflammable material. But here we see Vidura tactfully warns the Pandavas. He says:

“He that knows the schemes his foes contrive in accordance with the dictates of political science, should, knowing them, act in such a way as to avoid all danger. He that knows that there are sharp weapons capable of cutting the body though not made of steel, and understands also the means of warding them off, can never be injured by foes. He lives who protects himself by the knowledge that neither the consumer of straw and wood nor the drier of the dew burns the inmates of a hole in the deep woods. The blind man sees not his way: the blind man has no knowledge of direction. He that has no firmness, never acquireth prosperity. Remembering this, be upon your guard. The man who taketh a weapon not made of steel (i.e., an inflammable abode) given him by his foes, can escape from the fire by making his abode like unto that of a jackal (having many outlets). By wandering a man may acquire the knowledge of ways, and by the stars, he can ascertain the direction, and he that keepeth his five (senses) under control can never be oppressed by his enemies.”

As a result of these words of caution uttered by Vidura to the Pandavas, they were successful in foiling the deadly plot of Duryodhana. Vidura thus hereby sends a skilful miner who dugs a large subterranean passage for them. Then on one day, Bhima on the instructions of his elder brother Yudhishthira sets ablaze the house and they run away from there. Here again, Vidura helps the Pandava brothers in taking refuge at a secluded place at the banks of the river Ganga.

Later on, when Dhritarashtra asks for Vidura’s counsel regarding the game of dice, he explicitly shares his apprehension with the king and warning him to avoid it in these words:

‘O exalted king, I do not approve of this resolution that thou hast formed. It behaves thee, O king, to act in such a way that no dispute may arise between your children on account of this gambling match.’ He also said that Gambling is the root of dissensions. It also shows Vidura’s foresightedness and therefore, we see how the prediction of Vidura turns into reality and the game brings havoc on the Kuru clan ultimately.

Even after the tryst of the Pandavas with distress begins and they proceed towards the woods, Dhritarashtra asks Vidura to give an advice which is beneficial to both the Kauravas and the Pandavas. Vidura asks Dhritrashtra to return the kingdom of the Pandavas to them for the broader aim of maintaining the peace and tranquillity in the Kuru Kingdom. But as Duryodhana always disregarded the words of Vidura, Dhritarashtra out of his blind love for his sons paid no heed to his counsel.

After the return of the Pandavas from exile the war became inevitable as wicked Duryodhana (son of Dhritarashtra) refused the demand for minimum compensation.  Thus in Udyog Parva, Dhritarashtra asks Vidura to speak some words that are beneficial and might prevent the war fraught with high mortality. Vidura presents a discourse which is referred to as a Vidura-Niti. He hereby chides Dhritarashtra for being not courteous towards Yudhishthira, he says ‘King (Yudhishthira), graced with every virtue, is worthy of being the sovereign of the three worlds; yet, O Dhritarashtra, however worthy of being kept by your side, he was exiled by you.’

He then tells Dhritarashtra the definition of a wise man:

“These are the marks of a wise man, adherence to acts worthy of praise and rejection of what is blamable, faith, and reverence. He who  shows neither anger nor joy, nor pride, nor false modesty, nor stupefaction, nor vanity, can draw away from the high ends of life, is considered as wise.”

There are six sins according to Vidura and he says one must try to keep them away these sins are sleep, drowsiness, fear, anger, indolence and procrastination. On the contrary, he says these six qualities must be followed by men: truth, charity, diligence, benevolence, forgiveness and patience.

Further, he says these eight qualities glorify a man. Those are wisdom, high birth, self-restraint, learning, prowess, moderation in speech, gift according to one’s power and gratitude. Great prosperity attends upon that king who knows how to inspire confidence in others, who inflicts punishment on those whose guilt has been proved, who is acquainted with the proper measure of punishment, and who knoweth when mercy is to be shown.

After speaking elaborately on the characteristics of a wise man, Vidura emphasizes on making Yudhishthira the king of Kuru dynasty because he feels Yudhishthira to be endued with energy and wisdom and traits of a righteous ruler. He then asks him to give the Pandavas their due share as he speaks; “A person who himself is shameful (i.e. knows what is right/wrong) is considered best. He with his brightness, stable mind and jolly heart shines like the sun.”

It was Vidura’s grace that once before the Kurukshetra war, Krishna came to Hastinapura on behalf of the Pandavas for peace negotiation he was warmly welcomed. Duryodhana requested Krishna to stay in the palace for the night but he preferred to have food and take rest at Vidura’s place. We witness many a time in the Mahabharata that Lord Krishna held him in very high esteem. According to Krishna, Vidura was considered as Dharmaraja which means the Lord of truth.

It had been the misfortune of Dhritarashtra and Duryodhana that despite having the wisest Vidura by their side, they failed to make use of his percipience.

After the great war of Mahabharata, Yudhishthira appointed Vidura as his Prime Minister and followed his advises in all the matters of statecraft. After some time Vidura moved to the forest as an ascetic along with Dhritarashtra, Gandhari and Kunti, did severe penances there before his death. Thus we observe that Vidura had always influenced the course of events in Mahabharata and became the central character of this great Epic. Vidur-Niti is relevant not only today but also for the generations to come.

Do you think the West is secular?

0

The narrative pushed by the anti-Hindu brigade in India (and from other countries) is that Hindutva is not acceptable in a secular democratic country like India. They want India to emulate the western countries, which they claim are secular and do not favour one religion over another.

Surprisingly, it’s the opposite and it needs to be brought to light. To make this case, instead of using the narrative of Islamic countries with their sharia laws (whHinduhe hindu-phobic liberals will argue are not secular countries), lets take the example of a couple of western countries – United States, United Kingdom and Germany which our fake-liberal brigade would whole-heartedly endorse as the “beacons of a secularism”, in this oh-so intolerant world.

The United States:

There have been studies done by well-established professors of political sciences in the US recently, where they have examined 10’s of thousands of documents of the men who were involved in the framing of the US constitution. These professors have come back with some very interesting similarities of the US constitution having Christian influence –

Influence on the constitution which declares the tripartite division of government — judicial, legislative and executive – Isaiah 33:22 [For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.]

Recognizing that “absolute power corrupts absolutely” and that mankind is basically sinful/evil – Jeremiah 17:9[The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?], the Founding Fathers sought the separation of powers and a system of checks and balances. Articles I, II and III provide for the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government.

The welcome extended to immigrants (Article 1, section 8) is mandated by Leviticus 19:34] [But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.]

According to Deuteronomy 17:15 [Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the Lord thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother], the nation’s leader must be a natural-born citizen. That is the restriction of the person elected to serve as president by Article II, section 1.

The exception for Sundays in the time limit for the president to sign a bill into law in Article VII, Section 2 hints at the assumption that Sunday was a day of rest as set forth in Exodus 20 […For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy]

Benjamin Rush (one of the founding fathers of the US) talked about the religious [Christian] foundation of the republic that demanded virtuous leadership. He said that “the only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid on the foundation of religion. Without this, there can be no virtue, and without virtue, there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments”.

[Source: bible.org and other sources etc]

A couple of examples in judgments passed by the US Supreme court makes it clearly evident –

Justice Josiah Brewer wrote on February 29, 1892, “Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise, and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian.” [Church of the Holy Trinity v. the United States, 143 U.S. 457-458, 465-471, 36 L ed 226. (1892).]

A distinctively Christian view of the law is also reflected in Davis v. Beason, 133 U.S. 333 (1890):

“Bigamy and polygamy are crimes by the laws of all civilized and Christian countries. They are crimes by the laws of the United States, and they are crimes by the laws of Idaho . . . It was never intended or supposed that the (First) amendment could be invoked as a protection against legislation for the punishment of acts inimical to the peace, good order, and morals of society. ….. Probably never before in the history of this country has it seriously contended that the whole punitive power of the government for acts, recognized by the general consent of the Christian world in modern times as proper matters for prohibitory legislation, must be suspended in order that the tenets of a religious sect encouraging crime may be carried out without hindrance.

Now let’s move on to the UK (also called Great Britain – however, one might question what about it, or ever was, great).

The United Kingdom:

The Upper house of UK parliament (also called the House of Lords) scrutinizes and amends bills (proposed laws) that have been approved by the House of Commons. While it is unable to prevent Bills passing into law, except in certain limited circumstances, it can delay Bills and force the Commons to reconsider their decisions. There are 26 bishops of the established Church of England who serves in the House of Lords. Which basically means that every bill that gets enacted first gets scrutinized by a Christian religious body in England before it gets passed into law. If they were truly secular, wouldn’t they have members from all religions represented in the Upper House, or have the current 26 bishops excluded?

How if we set up 26 Hindu priests from all the established Hindu sects from India, in the Rajya Sabha and include them in the decision-making process of new proposed laws in India? What kind of reaction do you think that will garner from the numb-minded pseudo-intellectuals who espouse everything western and keep complaining about the Hindutva dangers prevalent in India?

While we are at it, let’s talk about Germany, whose majority religion is Christianity.

Germany:

A German citizen can only officially renounce membership in a church through a legal civil registry office or at a municipal court. This heavily discourages Christians from renouncing their faith by creating road-blocks. Imagine a government in India trying to stop Hindus from legally renouncing their faith – it would stop the conversion shops being run by the others.

German state public schools offer Christian religion courses, and public universities in Germany continue to train future theologians. Other religion studies are not encouraged by the German government at the same level as Christianity.

The German state tax authority is responsible for collecting the so-called church tax. This goes towards financing staff, houses of worship, and social welfare institutions such as hospitals and kindergartens, which are often run by church groups. The same is not followed for other religions.

The Christian denominations get special privileges such as tax breaks, which do not apply to other religious groups in Germany.

Conclusion:

On one hand, you have western countries (and obviously Islamic countries) that favor the majority faith in their countries through legal means within their constitution, while on the other hand, you have state govts in India that discriminate against the Hindus who are in the majority. You have state govts that take over hindu temples on the pretext of improving administration but then themselves are embroiled in mismanagement of the temple funds, stealing murtis, jewelry and land. You have politicians who discourage Hindus from celebrating their festivals and openly criticize the Hindu religion in public forums. This is the sad state of India.

In order for the true ethos of India and its people to flourish, we need to accept that India is a Hindu democratic country, run by its constitution, with equal rights and respect to all people and religions – much better than the western countries. The Hindu way of life and its traditions should not be trampled upon so that the majority do not get alienated.

Four years of implementing ‘Integral Humanism’

0

For the first time, India is experimenting with its own socio-economic development model called Integral Humanism. For years, the country was running on the borrowed development models. The largest ruling party of India, Congress has neither implemented Gandhiji’s ‘Hind Swaraj’ nor taken notes from Lokmanya Tilak’s philosophy about the rejuvenation of Bharat mentioned in his book ‘Gita Rahasya.’ And unfortunately, the visionary Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya who has crafted the philosophy of India’s own socio-economic development model called ‘Integral Humanism’, his party took so many years to come in a full majority.

In 2014, after being elected as a Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has got the opportunity to implement ‘Integral Humanism’ and he made this philosophy a base for all his government initiatives. After four years of experimenting with this philosophy; now its results are becoming visible in every sector of the economy. The last four years of Modi government have sustained one of the key elements of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy which says “the development, upliftment, and progress need not be a case of one against the other, but it can include everyone.”

From the very first year of Modi government, the global projections about India started improving. Today, all international rating agencies consider India as the world’s fastest-growing major economy with the highest GDP growth rates. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has earned a global reorganization of being a leader who has the capacity to change India’s prospects. India’s transformation from one of the “fragile five” to the only “bright spot” on the global economic landscape is a matter of discussion around the world.

The ‘Integral Humanism’ is given by a profound philosopher and ideological guide of BJP, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. In his ‘Integral Humanism’ philosophy Pt. Deendayal has emphasized on the integrated approach of Bhartiya culture for the progress of Man, Society, and Nation. In the four years of government, PM Modi has tried well to cover the concerns and development needs of almost everyone, be it small or large businesses, professionals, workers, farmers, women, youths and rural and remote India. The way small aspects of all government initiatives are linked to each other and yet forming a part of the larger picture and vision of a New India, it has amazed the global community too.

The government has decided to run Digital India and National Digital Literacy Mission in parallel as without digital literacy, Digital India cannot succeed. With the launch of Make in India, an initiative called Skill India or Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana to train youths in different skilled jobs was also launched. With Startup India, there is Standup India, the concept of Village Level Entrepreneurs and Mudra Loans. The government has provided an easy access to different government benefits/subsidies through a seamless linking between Jan-Dhan accounts, Aadhaar and mobile phones (the JAM trinity) which has enabled direct benefit transfers.

For the first time, there is an emphasis on doubling farmer’s income and transforming agriculture sector into a profitable enterprise. Government initiatives like National Rurban Mission, Innovative Crop Insurance Scheme, Soil Health Card scheme, Soil Testing Laboratories, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY), Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (To promote bio-farming), ‘India emergence through village emergence’ campaign, ‘My Village My Pride’ scheme (to provide the methodology of scientific farming and a new technology to every village) etc. are very encouraging.

The government has initiated a comprehensive development programme for tribal areas, called Van Bandhu Kalyan Yojana, which has an outcome-based approach to ensure that all the intended benefits of various central/state government programmes reach to the tribal people. For improving the standard of the education of tribal youths, the government has decided to upgrade Eklavya Schools, at par with Navodaya Vidyalayas along with providing special facilities for preserving local art and culture, training in sports and skill development. And for women and girls, there are Ujjwala yojana, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana kind of initiatives.

A number of Modi government schemes are named after Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya i.e. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Sanchar Kaushal Vikas Pratisthan Yojana, Deendayal Upadhyay Swaniyojan Yojana, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shramev Jayate, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Unnat Krishi Shiksha Scheme, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Krishi Puruskar etc. to reflect that the approach of the government is aligned with the vision of Integral Humanism.

One of the key objectives of the economic model mentioned in Integral Humanism philosophy is: “an assurance of minimum standard of living to every individual.” It is quite visible that Modi government is determined to achieve this goal. In his first Independence Day speech, PM Modi has raised the issue of open defecation and set up an ambitious target of achieving an Open-Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2nd October 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing 90 million toilets in rural India. As of January 2018, over 3 lakh villages and 300 districts have been declared Open Defecation Free (ODF), across ten States and Union Territories, namely, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh and Daman & Diu. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY), Saubhagya scheme, Housing for All, UDAAN, AMRIT, Gram Sadak Yojana, Sansad Adarsh Gram, the programme for Transformation of Aspirational Districts etc. are aligned with the goal of providing ‘minimum standard’ of living to every individual.

Another objective mentioned in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy is “Further increase above this minimum standard of living whereby the individual and the nation acquires the means to contribute to the world progress.” To achieve this objective PM Modi has taken a number of policy and institution level initiatives i.e. Digital India, Make in India, Design in India, incentives, and schemes for MSMEs, Startup India, EODB reforms and initiatives to promote Research & Development in the different sector of the economy. And as Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya has emphasized that these two objectives should provide “meanings employment to every able-bodied citizen.” We can see employment surge is the natural outcome of all these initiatives. In the integral humanism philosophy, it is also mentioned that “the system must help and not disregard the human being, the individual” and Modi government has attained this objective successfully, the dignity and self-respect of the common man are at the core of all government initiatives.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya had said “Every country has its own peculiar historical, social and economic situations and its leaders decide the remedies to the ills that beset the country from time to time, taking into consideration its background. It is illogical to believe that remedies which the leaders of one country decided to try for their problems are likely to be applied as such to all other peoples.” This message is a perfect answer to those questions which always compare India’s growth strategy with other nations. PM Modi has crafted a vision for New India based on his own experiences and wisdom; he has taken some of the most courageous decisions for economic reforms. PM Modi has presented ‘Integral Humanism’, the philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as a development model before the world.

Understanding Anti-Brahmanism to defeat it

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

– Poem about the cowardice of German intellectuals during the rise of the Nazis

Anti-Brahmanism has become the popular and fashionable credo of Indian intellectuals, especially in the last 100 years. This can be seen to be the effect of Macaulay’s education system, which was imposed after 1835. It’s stated goal was to produce a race of people who are essentially Englishmen (sahibs) with brown skins.

Historical precedent

https://twitter.com/Gopanarya/status/946994622554808320

In trying to eradicate the native culture of India, the British were following the precedent set by imperial Rome, who imposed the Roman way of life on Ancient Gaul. The Gauls were famous for their courage. They were also known to be fiercely proud of their traditions. However, after the Romans completed their subjugation of Gaul, the Gauls were forced to lose their traditional long hairs and beards in favor of the clean-shaven, trimmed Roman looks. This can be compared to how Indians were forced to shed their traditional attires by the British masters who wanted to impose their culture. Similar patterns can be observed in history among other imperial powers who impose their customs and way of life on subjugated peoples.

Druids can be considered the Gaulish equivalent of the Brahmins of Hindu India. Druids were exempt from participating in war and were held to the utmost respect in Gaulish society. After the Roman conquest and subsequent imposition of Christianity, the tradition of Druidry became extinct. The seeds of Anti-Brahmanism were similarly sown by the British in an effort to wipe out the native traditions of Hindus.

In order to introduce the poison of Anti-Brahmanism into the minds of Indians, the British introduced the notion of the Brahmins being a “priestly class”. In doing so, they were greatly influenced by their Protestantism. The Protestant Reformation movement began as an opposition to the stranglehold of the Catholic priests over the minds of Christians. Anti-clericalism reached its zenith in the twentieth century communist movements. Modern communists have been known to be influenced by the early Protestants such as the violent Anabaptists of the fifteenth century who stood for “absolute equality”.

Rwanda saw a tragedy which was largely brought about by the Christian church. Since the end of World War II, the church in Rwanda actively promoted the liberation of the “oppressed” Hutus. They were thus playing the dirty game of divide and conquer politics. Tutsis were identified as the “oppressors”. The church carried out a nonstop campaign to smear the Tutsis. The 1994 genocide led to the deaths of around 1 million people, including 70% of the Tutsi population.

Indian tradition disrupted

Before Macaulay’s education was imposed, Brahmins were the custodians of tradition and learning all across India. As Dharampal recounts in The Beautiful Tree, the British were astounded to see how successful the traditional Indian education system was. Indian villagers in the nineteenth century were much more literate and educated than their European counterparts! The British deliberately set out to break this system of learning. In breaking up the Indian education system, the British were able to achieve several goals. They imposed the language, mannerisms, and culture of England. They also rooted out any respect in the Indian people for any native, local customs. Macaulay has in fact been so successful that, even today, most Indian schools and universities continue to endlessly churn out brown-skinned sahibs.

Before the Islamic invasions, the Varnashrama (caste) system was held to be fluid in traditional Indian society. People were free to move between varnas (castes) according to their individual nature. A rigidity was seen to set in the system after the Islamic invasions and especially during the British colonial rule. A system of outcasting and untouchability was also seen to develop under both the rule of Islam and that of the British.

Tamil Nadu: Laboratory for Anti-Brahmanism

Tamil Nadu has witnessed vicious propaganda and violent attacks on Brahmins every year for the past many decades. The reason behind this is the constant stream of Anti-Brahmin rhetoric coming forth from the Dravidian political parties. The Dravidian movement began with Bishop Caldwell’s writings. This movement has been sustained continuously with the blessings and support of the Christian church. The aims behind the church’s involvement have been clear from day one. They seek to erase the Hindu history of the Tamil people and impose a fake narrative of how Tamils have always been a separate people with no shared identity with the rest of Bharat. The church ultimately seeks to impose Christianity on the entire Tamil people. This is the same old divide and conquer strategy employed by the British colonialists and the Rwandan church.

How to fight Anti-Brahmanism

Bust fake narrative: Upper/Lower castes

A fake narrative spread by leftists is that the Vedas and other Hindu scriptures were all written by the “savarnas” to proclaim their own supremacy. The leftists also claim that the Vedas and other scriptures are just a tool for “oppression”. This narrative can be exposed as false.

In pre-colonial times, there was no gradation of “upper” and “lower” castes. The caste system indicated the division of labor and every occupation had its place of dignity in Hindu society.

Much of the Vedas and other scriptures were written by non-Brahmins. There are also many women seers who were composers of the Vedas. The Mahabharata was written by Vyasa, the son of a fisherwoman. The Ramayana was written by Valmiki, an ex-highwayman, said to be born of a hunter.

Bust fake narrative: Manu Smriti

The Manu Smriti is a much-misused scripture thanks to the leftists. The Manu Smriti has to be understood to be a Smriti for its own time. A lot of the laws for the castes were put in place to ensure the stability of the social system. The Shudra caste was forbidden from studying the Vedas and a prohibitive punishment of “pouring molten lead” was prescribed to transgressors. There is no historical record of such punishments ever being carried out. Such prohibitive laws are written to ensure that the castes stuck to their own hereditary occupation so that the social and economic order is not disrupted.

Bust fake narrative: Who were the Hindu rulers?

Today’s leftist malcontents keep trying to propagate fake history about a rich, “priestly” class of Brahmins. This has been repeatedly shown to be nonsense. Historically, the lives of the Brahmins has been one of poverty and minimal comfort. The Hindu scriptures also enforce a simple and spiritually oriented lifestyle for the Brahmanas. The anti-Brahmin narrative of the left has been guided and inspired by the Abrahamic creeds. The Hindu ruling dynasties of Bharat for the past 1000 years has almost always (90%) been from those castes known today as “OBC’s”. This false narrative needs to be exposed for the fraud that it is.

Take action

All across Bharat, the virus of Anti-Brahmanism has to be defeated. Hindus need to come up with strategies for this. A two-pronged approach can be taken:

  • Community involvement: The Hindu community needs to actively and vocally expose all instances of Anti-Brahmanism. Every Hindu, irrespective of caste, is responsible for safeguarding the culture and tradition of Bharat.
  • Petitioning the government: It is the responsibility of the government to protect its own citizens. The Indian government needs to be petitioned to ensure safety and protection of those Brahmins living under the threat of cultural genocide.

Love Jihad: The crime which main stream media ignores

In this article, I would seek to inform all of you about one such an issue which is matter of great concern, the issue of “Love Jihad”. What is Love Jihad? Is it an interfaith marriage or love affair between a Muslim and a Non-Muslim? Absolutely no. Love Jihad in today’s circumstances simply means: A Muslim trapping a Non-Muslim in love affair and later on forcing him/her to convert to Islam. But why call this process “Love Jihad”? Because, Jihad in context of Muslims means striving towards propagating Islam. So, whenever a Muslim choose “love and force simultaneously” as the medium to propagate Islam, it is called “Love Jihad”. But why Muslims do this Love Jihad? Because, of a Quranic command.

“Marry not idolatresses until they believe. Truly a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, though she be pleasing to you. And marry none to the idolaters until they believe….” says Quran 2.221

This Quranic verse very categorically stated that Muslim men and women should not marry idolaters until those idolaters start believing in Islam. And this is the prime reason why we witness “Love Jihad”. Because whenever a Muslim thinks of marrying a Non-Muslim, it becomes necessary on his/her part to convert his/her partner to Islam in order to gain acceptance in society.

Now, I find 2 ways in which Muslims fulfil this command of Quran:

    1. The Honest Way
    2. The “Love Jihad” Way

The ‘Honest Way’ is that in which Muslims directly ask or peacefully insist their partner to accept Islam as their religion. And I think, no rational minded person would have an issue with this way of Muslims.

But then comes the other way, the ‘Love Jihad’ way, in which Muslims lay down an elaborate trap to catch Non-Muslim girls and forcibly convert them to Islam. And I think, every rational minded person would have issues with this way of Muslims.

So basically, in this article, I would be citing those cases happened recently [between Feb 2018-June 2018] in which Muslims chose ‘The Love Jihad Way’ where a Muslim married (or got into a relationship) with a Non-Muslim and then forced him/her to convert to Islam.

Please note: There are many cases in which Muslims hide their true identity, and reveal it only after establishing a sexual relationship. They then leave the woman in a helpless state, but I wouldn’t count them as Love Jihad because in those cases, Muslims didn’t convert Non-Muslims to Islam (which is the aim of Jihad). So such cases, in my view, shall not be regarded as Love Jihad. On the other side, there are many cases where Muslims abducted Non-Muslims, sexually exploited and converted them to Islam, but I wouldn’t count even these cases as Love Jihad because there is no “love” factor involved. So I’m making it very clear again that I would count only those cases as Love Jihad where Muslims first used “love” to trap Non-Muslims and later aspired to forcibly convert them into Islam.

Case 1 :

A Muslim man, Arif Hussain, married a Hindu girl making her believe that his name is ‘Chotu Singh’. After marriage, Arif Khan started beating her and forcibly converted her to Islam. He even forced the Hindu girl to eat meat, when the girl refused, he lashed her. This news was reported on Feb 18, 2018.

CASE 2:

Muhammad Riyaz Rasheed, a Muslim man married a Non-Muslim woman. After marriage, he started forcing her to wear the veil and convert to Islam. Not just that, he also threatened that he would sell her to Islamic State. This news was reported on Feb 26, 2018.

CASE 3 :

A Muslim, Rezwan, introduced himself as ‘Guddu Patel’ to a Hindu girl. He even met his parents with same name and convinced them for their daughter’s marriage with him. While marriage ceremony was going on, girl’s parents observed that few guests from husband’s side came wearing Islamic cap. Then this matter was told to an organisation ‘Hindu Dharma Sena’, the organisation came to spot, and as soon as they came, many of those guests who were wearing Islamic cap ran away. Then the police came and the entire matter was disclosed. This matter was reported on March 10, 2018.

CASE 4:

A Hindu girl, Jyoti married a Muslim man Tofique Ahmed in terms that she would not change her religion. Both Tofique and Jyoti have a son named Shiva. Now, after years of marriage, Tofique wanted Shiva to adopt Islam. But because Jyoti didn’t agree, he kidnapped Shiva and ran away. This news was reported on March 23, 2018.

CASE 5:

This case is quite different! In this case, a Hindu man and a Muslim woman happily married to each other. After few years, the Muslim woman, Hasina, started coercing the Hindu man to convert to Islam. The Hindu man was even pushed from the rooftop for not agreeing to her. This case was reported on March 28, 2018.

CASE 6:

A Muslim man, Asif, married a Hindu girl in Jammu. They shifted to many other places. After marriage, Asif forcibly converted her to Islam. When Asif was left with no money, he started torturing the Hindu girl. When people of nearby saw it, they reported it to the police and then Asif was immediately arrested. This case was reported on April 4, 2018.

CASE 7:

A Hindu girl falls in love with a Muslim man. Both of them married and went to Kerala. There, Muslim man not only converted Hindu girl to Islam but also raped her along with other men. This news was reported on April 5, 2018.

CASE 8:

A Muslim man married a Hindu woman by using fake documents. After marriage, he started forcing her to convert to Islam and produce more kids. And when she refused, the man beat her and threatened to kill her entire family. This news was reported on April 20, 2018.

CASE 9:

Another case was reported where a Muslim man trapped a Non-Muslim girl in love affair, converted her to Islam and was forcing for marriage. Luckily, this man was caught by the public harassing the girl and was handed over to police. This news was reported on May 21, 2018.

CASE 10:

Abdul Mehtab, a Muslim man, introduced himself as ‘Pintu’ to a Hindu girl, Puja. Abdul forcibly converted Puja to Islam and married her. Even Abdul’s family members tortured her. So Puja went to police to get registered a case against Abdul and his family members. This case was reported on June 1, 2018.

CASE 11:

A girl from Punjab married a man from Srinagar. After marriage, she came to know that he is a Muslim. The Muslim family forced this Punjabi girl to change her religion. They didn’t stop there. The girl reported that they went a step further and raped her. This news was reported on June 9, 2018.

CASE 12:

Safraj Hussain, A Muslim boy, introduced himself as ‘Raj’ (Hindu) and did friendship with a Hindu girl. They both agreed to marry. After marriage, when Safraj was not in the home, the girl discovered that he lied about his religion to her. But she chose to stay with him. Later sometime, Safraj’s family started forcing her to convert to Islam. She refused. One day, they called a Maulvi and forced her to accept Islam, she resisted, and then as a consequence, she was raped. This news was reported on June 17, 2018.

CASE 13:

This is an extremely horrible story! A Muslim, Saif, trapped a Hindu girl ‘Maya’ in love affair and clicked several sensitive images of her. Then he started threatening girl to marry him and convert to Islam otherwise he would post those images on the internet. When Maya’s father was unable to resolve this entire issue, he ended up his life, he committed suicide. This story was reported on June 19, 2018.

CASE 14:

A Muslim man and a Hindu girl became friends on Facebook. Soon, they got into relationship and married each other. After marriage, Muslim man forced the girl to convert to Islam, she refused, hence Muslim man uploaded sensitive images of the girl on the internet. This case was reported on June 20, 2018.

CASE 15:

A woman filed complaint to the police that 4 years ago, she married a Muslim man. After marriage, man started torturing her. He threatened her by saying that if she doesn’t accept Islam, he would kill her. This was reported on June 23, 2018.

CASE 16:

A Muslim man, Amir, introduced himself as a Hindu to a girl. They got into a deep relationship. And after establishing a sexual relationship with the girl, and making her pregnant, he revealed his true religion. And after she delivered a baby, Amir forced the girl to convert to Islam. This news was reported on June 26, 2018.

An Observation:

Readers, I cited above 16 cases of Love Jihad. Have you ever watched prime-time debates on any of these 16 cases? Probably no. Leave aside debates, most of the “eminent liberal journalists” don’t even report such cases for 5 minutes. Leave aside television media, not even English print media give space to such cases. It is almost in all cases, only Hindi or regional newspapers which dare to report on Love Jihad.

On the other hand, any case of assault involving ‘cow’ catches media’s eye in no time. It becomes the subject of prime-time debates. Pseudo-liberals set entire country on fire. They go on to write article after article on international newspapers to shame India and Hindus. Even those who never found the religion of terror despite thousands of terror attacks against Non-Muslims, suddenly start using terms like “Hindutva Terror or Cow Terrorism”.

Now the point to ponder is, what makes ‘Love Jihad’ so different from ‘cow vigilance’ that one attracts ‘no’ attention and other attracts ‘all’ attention? And after much reasoning, the only factor which creates such a huge difference clicks to my mind is RELIGION OF THE VICTIM.

Hindus are victims of ‘Love Jihad’, so our MSM choose to snub the issue and Muslims are victims of ‘Cow Vigilance’, so MSMleavese no chance to shame Hindus. Believe it or not, this is actually what matters to MSM.

The Possible Rescue:

So what is the possible rescue from the threat of Love Jihad? Is it moral policing? The way of Bajrang Dal? Absolutely no. If you have read those above 16 cases, you know that Bajrang Dal actually helped several women to get justice and also rescued several women from being forcibly converted, but definitely, I wouldn’t suggest anybody follow their way. Not just that their way is quite immoral but also that you may end up landing in legal troubles if you persuade them. The best possible is, to generate awareness (not fear) among people, especially women (as it is them who are victims is most of the cases). Also, every boy/girl, in my opinion, before getting into any relationship, should inquire perfectly about each other. And the most important part is, to take your parents into confidence. As we have seen in above 16 cases, those parents who knew the boy with whom their daughter was in an affair with, took more effective steps against those who didn’t know when their daughters suddenly disappeared. To conclude: To tackle Love Jihad, we need to educate ourselves and others about it and most importantly to take our parents into consideration before taking any such sort of major decision in life.

Acknowledgement:

I’m wholeheartedly thankful to a Twitter user, @Ayravata, who made a long and very informative thread about those cases where Non-Muslims are victims of ‘Love & Rape’ Jihad. As I have said, MSM chooses not to report on such cases, so, like everybody else, even I was unaware of how gigantic problem this Love Jihad is. But it only after going through his thread of tweets, I realised it and selected few appropriate cases for my article.

Delhi’s air pollution is linked to its political pollution

0

Air Pollution is not a complicated topic. The causes, the effects and the various ways to curtail it are well known. Fixing this issue is not rocket science. It is straightforward. Despite this, air is polluted and continues getting worse at an alarming rate. According to the report, ‘Body Burden 2015’ published by the Center of Science and Environment between, 10,000 and 30,000 people are killed annually due to pollution in our national capital. In addition to this, the city is once again crowned as the world’s most polluted city by WHO. Unless this is Delhi Government’s plan to curb population growth, there has to be a strategy already in place by now. Firecrackers burned during Diwali allegedly cause a lot of pollution and were banned last year. With the current rate of work, they would be banned this year as well.

The government is not required to accomplish everything by themselves. But it is their responsibility to drive such projects and see them through. Blaming others, neighbouring states, the central government, etc. is not at all a solution. How many times have we seen the Delhi’s Chief Minister communicate ways to reduce air pollution to the people of Delhi? In almost each of his interactions, he can be found hurling dirt on others. What is the Delhi Government’s plan or strategy to curb pollution? Banning things during the peak of a crisis is not a strategy at all. He is one of the most qualified politicians in India; he graduated from the elitist technical institutes in India and still has got no idea as to how to find the solution. Or maybe he knows exactly what to do but has no intentions to execute them because of his self-serving reasons.

There are thermal power plants inside the city premises which without create particulate matter without any checks. There are households in the city still relying on solid fuel to cook, generating unwanted particulate matters. Shouldn’t the government go for greener alternatives for power generation? Shouldn’t the government make an effort to connect all those households with LPG and PNGs? But wait! aren’t these Modi government’s flagship projects? The Modi Govt. is promoting solar power generation and LPG usage through various schemes like “Ujjwala Yojana” and so on. Solar power generation targets set by the government till the year 2022 were already surpassed recently. Projects like Eastern Peripheral Highway claim to reduce the number of vehicles entering Delhi by approximately 30% and as a result, reduce the pollution levels. The elephant in the room is “With all these projects in place, how would he claim the credit when pollution is actually reduced in Delhi? It does not matter if the city becomes a gas chamber, but the Delhi’s Chief Minister will not get involved in anything that will not benefit him politically.

Even if we assume that this is my paranoia speaking and ignore it for a moment, there are other serious issues with the AAP government that will not let them fix this pollution problem. Although coming from a different background and mindset, the Chief Minister has worked desperately hard and left no stone unturned to prove the fact that he and his government are not different from other regional parties and politicians. Even after three years, it is the same old rhetoric, wooing the voters by promising different freebies like 20,000 litres of free water every month, free WiFi, reduced electricity prices along with some indirect freebies like the door to door ration delivery. How do they manage free water or electricity is a different discussion. It looks as if they were planning on doing charity on someone else’s money( that may be the reason why he was so upset with Reliance)Or he was planning on taking huge loans (maybe that’s why he is always upset with the centre as they don’t approve of it) and leaving it bankrupt like Greece? Any politician who believes in these tactics for meeting short-term goals fail in bringing any sort of positive change to the society; as the change is always upsetting and difficult in the beginning. He is always reluctant in taking tough decisions because they upset some voters. Any action that would lead to people getting upset, the government would never execute it. And for controlling air pollution strict actions would definitely be required.

The other problem with his government is their style of politics. His brand of politics is primarily based on hatred and shifting blame to others. All his speeches, interviews are about complaining, blaming, giving excuses. In fact he spreads so much negativity and hatred that he became the most hated person in India. Are Delhi students only for cheap politics and protests? He kept everybody busy in useless Protests and “Dharnas”. The CM could have invited students(Masters & PhDs), researchers, professionals etc. for finding out permanent solutions to this problem. There are more than enough ways to counter pollution and use it as an opportunity to generate employment, promote startups and advertise himself. Please have a look at my article “ways to reduce pollution and create startup/employment opportunities“. But then there would be a scope of making errors. If something goes wrong people would make allegations. “To err is human”, there can be only one way of not making any mistake; “don’t do anything; no work no errors no mistakes”.   That is why he did nothing of that sort, why take a risk? but surprisingly he still got entangled in scams of different sorts.

Also, a leader is as good as its team, and when the leader is the Chief Minister of a state, his team is not only the elected MPs and MLAs but the people of the state as well.  The leader has to merely ask and ask sincerely. A leader asked, and people gave away their subsidies, the senior citizens gave away their discounts on train tickets. Indians are too emotionally attached to their leaders. Mr Kejriwal simply cannot work as a team. Most of his core team members have already left him. The recent standoff between the I.A.S. officials and him is a glaring proof of his poor leadership/team skills. There would always be different problems, if everything was so easy then anybody could run a government. Every state, every ministry has its own problems. If everyone starts giving excuses like he does, there would be absolutely no work. If the partial statehood is coming in the way, then on what grounds did he make so many promises before the election? Did he simply lie to the voters on their faces? A big Ego, an aggressive self-righteous attitude and arrogance were the only reasons why “Ravan” was defeated, otherwise, he was one of the most talented personalities in the Indian Epic “Ramayan”. I sincerely hope this time when I visit home, I am allowed to use firecrackers on Diwali. This is the only reason why I wrote this.
