Shashi Tharoor is right – Nehruji made it possible for a Chaiwala to become Prime Minister

0

Congress MP and leader Shashi Tharoor is being widely criticized for his statement that Nehru made it possible for a Chaiwala To Become Prime Minister.

He said, “If today we have a Chaiwala as prime minister, it is because Nehruji made it possible to create the institutional structures through which any Indian can aspire to rise to the highest office in the land”.

Though Modi supporters cannot digest this fact, it is indeed the truth. Let us analyse how Nehru built the above-mentioned institutional structures.

A democrat at heart, Nehruji believed that power should not be concentrated in the hands of a few. So during Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s second term as president, Nehruji brought in a private member Constitution amendment Bill in Rajya Sabha seeking to restrict President’s tenure to maximum two terms so as to pre-empt the possibility of Dr. Rajendra Prasad getting a third term. Ultimately Dr. Rajendra Prasad got the message and didn’t seek third term and the bill restricting President’s tenure was not passed.

Such was Nehruji’s stature and commitment to democratic values that after this incident no Indian President has server for more than one term, forget two. It was Nehruji’s tenure of about 17 years as Prime Minister which made such democratic institutional structures possible and durable.

During Nehruji’s tenure as Prime Minister, his daughter Indiraji became the President of the Congress Party and helped further democracy in the party.

Nehruji’s sister Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit served as Indian Ambassador to Soviet Union, United States and also Indian high commissioner to the United Kingdom. She also served as the President of the United Nations General Assembly, the Governer of Maharashtra and also as Lok Sabha MP furthering democracy in each of the roles.

Nehruji had realized with disappointment that it would take more than one generation to make Indians imbibe democratic values. Like a responsible leader he passed on his responsibility to his daughter Indiraji, whom he had brought up to respect democratic values. When Indiraji become Prime Minister in 1966, she sought complete her father’s dream to create the next generation of leaders not from the elites but from the lower classes in Indian society. However, when almost after a decade of being Prime Minister she saw that India had been unable to create next generation leaders, she took upon herself to create a fast track 21-month leadership grooming programme in the years from 1975 to 1977. Many of the leaders we see today in India’s polity were groomed and trained in this 21-month fast track leadership training program.

Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Sushil Kumar Modi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Sitaram Yechury and Vijay Rupani are some of the persons who became leaders after this training program.

Lalu Prasad was so enamoured by one of the Modules of this leadership grooming programme that he named his daughter Misa after it.

Had it not been for that leadership program Venkaiah Naidu would not have risen to the post of the Vice President of India. Even H. D. Deve Gowda was into politics earlier really rose in stature only after the training program and went on to become the Prime Minister.

When the leadership training program has created so many leaders, it is no big deal that one of them happened to be a Chaiwala who went on to become Prime Minister.

Fight between inbreeding politics of dynasty versus development

0

Time is up for India to question the dynasty politics that is going to destroy democracy in India with the culture of inbreeding politics. Indian politics is being hijacked by the political dynasty where the power is gifted to one family.

Imagine if people know who is going to be the next prince and who is going to succeed him and who is next etc., naturally the people of such political party shall swarm around the dynasty and will naturally salute even the great grandson of the dynast even if the great grandson is just 1 year old because the great grandson also become the prince one day. Therefore those politicians in the payroll of the dynast would start saluting even the great grandson competitively to reaffirm the culture of sycophancy to continue in the payroll.

Today what is happening in Indian politics is exactly the same. The dynast is praised so lavishly by those invertebrate people. In the party of the dynast we can find several fantastic sycophants of high caliber and it is essentially due to the inbreeding politics.

Mr. Sashi Taroor has outwitted all congress men. Mostly the sycophants and those in the payroll of the dynast are known to praise the prince, his son, grandson and even great grandson to be in the corridor of power. But Shashi Taroor has invoked and credited Nehru for Narendra Modi to have become the Prime Minister of India. The greed for power can make people so shameless and spineless is only heard in the textbook but recently we could see how true the above statement is. The question is why Sashi Taroor did not credit Motilal Nehru, the father of Nehru, and the grandfather of Nehru for Narendra Modi become Prime Minister of India beg an answer. If he credits them also then he can affirm his position in the dynasty and also can hope for revision of wage.

Even the pride of lion always mates only with a lion of other pride in order to prevent inbreeding. The question is why no one outside the family is allowed to become the king of the dynasty? The truth is quite obvious as the entire party and its wealth etc., are family property and the rest are mere sycophants and only by doing pooja and chanting the name of the dynast are running their life.

Should the Indians of present generation who aspire for new India, development and sab ka vikas as envisaged by the PM Narendra Modi can afford to make the country a breeding ground of dynastic-inbreeding culture and sycophants?

Narendra Modi has risen to the highest position from the humble beginning of selling tea through hard work and merit. What he has earned for himself is honesty, integrity, straightforwardness, commitment for India. On the contrary the dynast has inherited the dynasty as natural inheritance.

People might argue that the dynast also contest election and get elected by people under democracy so why to question about dynasty. The difference between dynasty and democracy is that the dynast can take any decision which will not be questioned because all the sycophants are the servants of the dynast whereas in democracy the situation is different. PM Modi has come through the process of democracy both in BJP and as Prime Minister of India. But the story of the dynast is not the same. Therefore people of India must realize the truth that their vote in 2019 is going to change the fate and destiny of entire India.

The fate and destiny of India can be destroyed by electing the dynast and the culture of inbreeding or India can be made to economic superpower by electing a decisive, honest, tireless leader – Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India.

The destiny of India is in the hands of every Indian but definitely not with the political symbol of the dynastic party – the hand.

Indian need newness, freshness and not inbreeding, culture of prince and sycophants. Sycophants are essentially servants and therefore they do not have the right and legitimacy to question the dynast. Therefore what the dynast decides is the fate of the nation.

But in BJP democracy and not dynasty prevails and therefore every decision is taken after due consultation, threadbare analysis and approval by all. Hope India will have the fortune to have Narendra Modi again as Prime Minister of India to develop the country and achieve sab ka vikas.

God believers can change the political landscape of Tamil Nadu from ethnic emotion psychosis

0

People may wonder how Mr. H Raja of BJP can change the fortune and destiny of Tamil Nadu so easily that it has been culturally, politically and socially, psychologically programmed to think and function in a unitary manner. The political culture of the state has been shaped so firmly with Dravidian miasma where it divides the society into two unequal halves as Dravidians and Aryans.   They sowed and harvested the crop of hatred towards Brahmins and God.

Initially the champions of Dravidian ideology argued that the population in entire south India are Dravidians but when the first Dravidian government was formed, the G.O of the same Government clearly classified the Telugu speaking backward class people ‘Adi Telugu speaking’ people and Tamil speaking people belongs to the backward as ‘Adi Dravidar’. This truth clearly exposes the honesty of the Dravidian doctrines proposed by the so called champions of Dravidian-ism.

H. Raja is so bold, brave, explicit and articulate to expose the anatomy of the ploy of champions of Dravidianism as how they have destroyed the state in the name of Dravidian-ism and persecution of Brahmins and God.

To hold onto the power, they cleaved the state culture from the mainstream, programmed the culture to be unique and further infused hatred, anger and opposition towards the rest.   English as a language is flourishing in India despite our linguistic diversity and similarly English has no way influenced people to demean or forget their mother tongue.

But the brigades of Drawidianism ruined the state education through spreading hatred for Hindi by citing that Hindi as language of Brahmins and if Hindi is allowed, Brahmin dominance would comeback.  They used hatred and fear to spread their political culture of Dravidianism. Today the brigades of Dravidianism have reduced their philosophy to promote dynastic rule where one family is going to matter than anything else in the state.

H. Raja is not batting for BJP or for power. He is asking people to think and learn about how the state politics and has been hypnotized with an illusion or the mist called Dravidian-ism.

The imperial rulers denied freedom, looted our resources and treated us like slaves. Entire India starting from Cape Cameron to Kashmir, from Run of Kutch to Arunachal Pradesh fought against Imperial rulers and united India and got freedom.

As soon as India got freedom, the state of Tamil Nadu lost its freedom and appears to have got imprisoned by cult politics over Dravidian-ism. Caste system was catalysed, fomented and nurtured but from not getting all such nefarious politics noticed, hatred towards Brahmins, Hindi, God, divine practices etc., were kindled and fueled continuously.

H Raja is not just speaking to the ears of people but he speaks to the conscience of people. H Raja is not asking people to get convinced but asking people to think and learn. H Raja is not asking people to change at the individual level but requesting them to change the destiny and fortune of Tamil Nadu by throwing the brigades of Dravidianism who used ‘ethnic emotion psychosis’ to grab power and nothing more than that.

For the state to prosper the state must promote merit and not dynasty culture, system of education should focus on knowledge and wisdom, learning new languages like Hindi and not hating Hindi, questioning the cult and not following it so blindly.

In Tamil Nadu, H Raja is fighting not just the political battle or electoral battle, but he is fighting to the Tamil consciousness to save the state from the so called champions of Dravidianism as they promote nothing but own selfish interest, cult of personality and dynasty.

H Raja is sowing the seeds of change, a new Tamil Nadu. He knows that his efforts are like how several thousands of seeds of many trees when fall, only one seed could grow and become a big tree, bringing a change in Tamil Nadu from the way the politics of past has shaped the state over generations, is not that easy. But efforts must continue as majority of people in the state are coming back to divinity and rituals. Dravidian icons promoted the culture of persecution of Brahmins and God but the people are returning to God believers and this is the first sign of good old Bhakti era of Tamil culture is coming back. BJP alone can save India and Tamil Nadu.

Snowflake activists who fly back instead of continuing the fight for (selective) ‘gender equality’

0

Vishwamitra defied the Gods themselves to jump up the caste barrier. Indra tried every trick up his sleeve, including physical might. Finally Indra himself gave up and appeared before him to declare him Brahmarishi.

If you persevere, you can move mountains. Even Gods will come down and accept your wishes.

Our faith is open minded even to such blasphemy. A women entering Sabarimala temple is no big deal… BUT with the right intent! No society accepts new ideas faster than ours, but only after being rigorously tested.

Recently, a celebrity activist vowed to visit Sabarimala, so she landed at Kochi airport and tried to hail a cab to the temple. She faced a minor setback, no cabbies accepted the ride and in fact they offered her a return ticket. Now if she were determined, she could have taken up the journey on foot, bringing to life Rabindranath Tagore’s poetic “Jodi tor dak shune keu na ashe tobe Ekla cholo re.” That would have earned her my respect, regarding her determination and commitment to her own beliefs. If she is devoted to Lord Aiyappa, or at least she really believes that she is doing the right thing in spite of opposition, then she should have not let this come in her way. Although unprofessional, but the cabbie is somehow within his/her right to deny access to their cab. But no one has the right to stop her from taking a walk. But no, she decided to fly back.

This is essentially the problem with these VIP activists and their political/media cheerleaders. There is no commitment and perseverance, what you get is just loud statements and tokenism.

In your quest to change the society, I wish you well, but you need to earn respect and there is no legal shortcut to that.

For that, you have to move mountains, or at least get to it.

Sabarimala crisis- What lays ahead

0

With the temple due to be opened from today for the annual season that last for roughly 56 days, Kerala is bracing itself for a new battle as the shrine will remain open for almost 2 months from today. That, “right-to-pray” activist Trupti Desai from Maharashtra who landed early in the morning today in Kerala to enter Sabarimala has been held back by protesting devotees right at Cochin airport itself for more than 9 hours gives us an idea on how intense is the situation in Kerala.

After Supreme court deferred its the date of hearing the review petitions to 22nd Jan, an all party meeting was called up yesterday by the ruling CPM Govt for an amicable solution to end the Sabarimala deadlock concerning age specific women entry. However, the meeting failed miserably and BJP and Congress leaders walked out for lack of any assurance from the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Interestingly, for CM Pinarayi Vijayan, this was the last and a god sent opportunity to emerge out as a statesman. The ball was in his court, he not just had Supreme Court order in his favour, but also enough time. Legal experts unanimously opined that a request to defer implementation of the verdict citing readiness and lack of infrastructure could well be considered by the apex court, taking into account the fact that the state is still struggling to come out of the devastating flood that hit them in August. Had Pinarayi Vijayan taken a populist decision, he would have, with just one masterstroke won the hearts of millions of Hindus of his state breaking all political barriers. But as expected, the Staunch Stalinist in him decided to go the other way.

Perhaps what Pinarayi Vijayan lost  was a a chance to garner a moral consent from the public by delaying the implementation of Supreme Court verdict which is completely missing now when one looks at his haste and unrelenting approach. This high-handedness has left millions of Ayyappa devotees to believe that their CM is not true to his intentions.

The extend of Hindu backlash is best reflected in the tectonic shift in TV viewership pattern in Kerala during these days.  Janam TV,  the only right leaning news channel in Kerala which routinely struggled at 8th or 9th in the past has regularly started topping the BARC viewership rating for the last 3 weeks. This is history in the making BJP as far as Kerala politics is concerned.

Pinarayi Vijayan’s political opponents can have a reason to feel happy of the fact that he has some seriously short sighted political advisers around him. Had he played his cards cleverly, he could have reduced his political opponents into mute spectators in the run up to the Lok Sabha elections due later next year. A rejuvenated and stronger BJP/RSS who now seem to enjoy popular support has made it clear that they will not allow the temple tradition to be broken. Along with the head priest and the royal families of the temple, a reluctant Congress too has joined the bandwagon.

Now what waits ahead for Pinarayi led communist Govt in Kerala? Latest information tells us that his police brigade may help enter young women from today when the temple opens. There are reports that  with an intention of neutralizing and imprisoning protesters more effectively, the Govt has allegedly put up jails and even ready to pronounce magistrates at the shrine itself on the hilltop. Many age old rituals followed by devotees at the shrine are reportedly curtailed citing “security concerns”. Decrees like devotees cant stay back in the temple after prayer, hotel will be closed after temple timings etc smacks of dictatorial rudeness. Whats most appalling is the fact that for the first time perhaps in India, devotees now have to get an “NOC” from their local police station to travel to Sabarimala!!

Despite turning the sacred temple into a security fortress, the communist govt seems to be missing something big here. Unlike when the temple opened only for a few days last month, today marks the start of the annual pilgrimage and the beginning of mass pilgrims from other southern states too. While the no. of pilgrims were in thousands last month, it will now be in lakhs every day from all of south India and also many from other Indian states too. Can the Kerala Govt afford a  riot situation that involves pilgrims from other states? Does Pinarayi Govt own the political bandwidth of unleashing his police force on Tamil and Telugu and Kannada Pilgrims?  Does he think the state governments of other southern states will remain quite in case of a large scale police brutality on their people?  We have seen in the past during Mullaperiyar crisis when Kerala buses and people were attacked in other states in response to other state Sabarimala pilgrims being attacked in Kerala. Unfortunately, the Kerala govt is pushing the state into a state of undeclared emergency which if left unchecked can cascade to other states as well.

What could possibly the state machinery do in an event of such a large scale crisis that may span all of south India?  Are we looking at an eminent central Govt intervention then?

Officially as of now, around 700 women age between 10-50  have registered online for visiting the temple in coming days. With swords being drawn from all sides, its a rare tense days awaiting for all in God’s own country.

Prayagraj not Allahabad is inevitable for the development of India– Know how

0

The name change proposal of Allahabad to Prayagraj by the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is much needed for the renaissance of New India where the sacred culture and glory of Hinduism once thrived and it is the responsibility of every citizen of India to preserve and promote the same for new generation. The next level of development of India should be on moral, spiritual, ethical and social values and therefore our agenda of development should not be limited to the materialistic aspect alone. India was and is a Hindu Rashtra where the essence and sacred cultural practices of Hinduism is being followed for several thousands of years by all Indians. The presence of Hindu culture is quite obvious in every religion in India as Hinduism is so sacred and all inclusive.

Allahabad is the epicentre of Hinduism where three rivers such as Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati meets and it called Triveni Sangam. Hindus always worship river, sun, moon, wind god, fire god, cow, birds, snake, trees, plants and every aspect of nature. Triveni sangam is therefore a holy place of utmost importance to Hindus. In 16th century Allahabad fort was built by Mughul Emperor Akbar with sandstone of Ashoka pillar, the underground Patalpuri temple and sacred banyan tree. In fact the Allahabad was the spiritual identity of Hindus which was defaced and re-structured by Akbar. Therefore re-naming Allahabad as Praygraj is an important milestone in the mission of New India.

The dynastic rulers of Mughal Emperors in the great past and the dynastic rulers under democracy since independence have destroyed the ethos of sacred Hindu culture, reduced the great culture of Hinduism as mere religion and positioned other minority communities as different from the followers of Hindu culture, appeased Muslims for votes and destroyed the identity of India. The very umbilical cord of Hindu culture starts from Triveni Sangam.

The spiritual Gurus, Sadhus, Saints have contributed immensity to the development of India.  Several sages in the past have even fought for the country. It means the governance and politics was and is influenced and guided by spiritual essence and spiritual leaders. When the political leaders envisage vision for the country, the spiritual leaders set vision for people. Therefore the governance and administration have to go hand in hand with divine faith and essence.

Only the spiritual education makes man, human, humane and different from other animals. The present generation is if not linked with our ancient tradition they may grow economically but need to be morally, ethically and socially.

Every country has its own endemic-ity or identity or uniqueness. Imperial rulers tried their best to destroy the cultural identity of India but could not because the imperial rulers remained as foreigner. The political dynasty in the recent years has confused our country’s sacred culture with imported leadership from the country of Benito Mussolini.

Time has come India must trace back its sacred culture that has been bulldozed by the imported leadership in Indian politics. Prayagraj is ‘Tilak’ to our sacred culture and therefore every Indian who follows the sacred Hindu culture will be proud over the proposal. It is highly desired that the event of name change of Allahabad to Praygraj must be celebrated nationally and the sacredness of Triveni sangam must be popularized across India to make every Indian proud and happy.

Certainly Yogi Adithyanath is on right mission, i.e., development of India and Sab ka vikas as envisaged by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under PM Modi, India shall develop totally and completely whereas under the dynast, only his dynasty will develop and Indians shall remain poor and pauper.

Rafale Saga – Is Rahul Gandhi playing a role of ‘vamp’ in it?

0

Rafale Saga and related news reporting on media appears to be no more than a “Saas, Bahu and Sajish” analysis, in which the prime importance is given to the latest “politically motivated act” of the “vamp” which spice-ups the “maahol” and keeps everyone interested in the serials or at-least in the news report.  Such endless acts produces endless twists and therefore endless episodes.

It seems that the greatest beneficiary of mushrooming of ‘Saas-Bahu’ soaps on the Indian television is Mr. Rahul Gandhi. The interesting part is that he seems to be very much inspired by the role played by the ‘vamp’ in it. The one who clandestinely plays around behind everyone’s back and falsely alleges one or the other family member by telling blatant but somewhat “manageable” lies. The key surviving trait of such ‘vamp’ is the art to hide under a veil of fake sobriety. All these games, lies and spicing-up the script to maintain the interest is entertaining only until it remains on the reel-screen. The moment it becomes ‘real’, it brings chaos in people’s life and if a ‘vamp’ enters into real politics, then the lives of millions of people will get affected.

Having set the context in place, let me clarify why I am sarcastically aiming at Rahul Gandhi. Firstly, Rahul has started a new trend in Indian politics to frame baseless allegations without backing with substantial proofs while making the statement and secondly, by not approaching the honorable judiciary to put forth the case, which means he has nothing to prove. After many such false accusations, he has made it very clear, he is here to spice things up in the Indian politics. Its a sorry state as he is entertaining the masses by becoming a ‘vamp’ than being a lead player with policies, solutions and aim to achieve.

Indians will have to choose between taking Rahul on face value or doing some ground research to analyse what he is saying to create a suitable “maahol” for himself.

Coming back to the Rafale deal, with little efforts I could gather sufficient information which throws ample light on the entire deal and its progress. Few facts with proofs are mentioned below for you to read and decide whether we can allow a person to make fool out of us or not :

1. The Rafale Secrecy Clause: The story revolves around the hesitation shown by Government in sharing the price of fully loaded aircraft. However, I believe that the cost of fully loaded aircraft shall not be released in nation’s security interest, notwithstanding, the secrecy clause signed in 2008. Here is the link, you may refer from Page 2416-2425:

I am amazed and angry by the audacity of Mr. Gandhi in considering citizens of this country so naïve and using parliament to state there was no secrecy clause singed, to mislead us.

2. Association of Reliance and Dassault: Rahul has been making furore about Reliance and Dassault working together, looking at his body language and confident way of lying one can easily be fooled.  But the moment you look at the facts, truth comes out of darkness and shows the true colour of a ‘vamp’.

Truth be told, even if the contract would have been signed in its earlier shape that is aircraft being built by HAL in collaboration with Dassault, even then offset clause was supposed to be fulfilled by various Indian private companies including Reliance.

The joint venture between Dassault and Reliance was envisaged in 2012 itself under UPA to satisfy Offset Clause of then Rafale contract, it is to be noted that Offset clause is also put in Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP) by UPA government. Links for news articles are placed below from the year 2012, link for the most trusted site “NDTV” is also placed for certifying its “true”:

Dassault Aviation, Reliance in defence pact

Dassault, RIL join hands for defence & homeland security

3. Allegation that none of government agencies were involved in the decision making: Another comfortable lie by our “cute”, “ignorant” and “ill-informed” Prince. Rahul is that the contract was finalised by PM Modi all by himself without even informing and involving any government agency. Well for anyone who is part of the government office knows that it is just not possible, as even in a municipality office a “normal” project file goes from one office to another for approval, where as, Rafale Contract is a high-profile defence contract in which various offices of IAF, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Finance and several other supervising committees are set in place to process and monitor various aspects of contract. For those who are not aware of how a defence contract is finalised, I am posting an extract from DPP which brings out several steps of Defence Acquisition Process, please note that separate teams from various ministries and Armed forces handles of each 12 step.

An extract from DPP comprising 12 step Defence Acquisition Process

Defence Procurement Procedure also known as DPP can easily be downloaded from here.

4. Another lie that we are only getting 36 aircraft and not 126 aircraft: Congress led by Mr. Rahul has been moving heaven and earth to prove that Modi government has reduced the number of aircraft from 126 to 36, which is ‘again’ a big lie.

If we look at the complete MMRCA deal and how it took shape under Vajpayee, Manmohan & Modi government, you will find that India will be getting 36 + 110 = 146 MMRCA aircraft  and not just 36 or 126 of them.

Why did India buy 36 aircraft in ready to fly condition?

Fact is that one squadron of Indian Air Force consists of 16-18 aircraft, therefore by inducting 36 – Rafale IAF will get 2 ready to fly squadrons at significantly lesser time as compared to manufacturing of aircraft at HAL, please note HAL quoted for 2.7 times more man-hours compared to Dassault which could have led to a massive delay in getting aircraft for IAF. Related link is here.

RFI issued for additional 110 MMRCA on 06 July 2018!

The over all delay of 10-12 years caused by Congress government by not taking a decision even after finalising Dassault as L1 is the real cause of modification in the deal with Dassault at later stage. The prime objective of contract was to replenish depleting fleet of IAF, which was adversely affected by the delay. So, for any logical person the best option was to buy combat-ready aircraft that is 36 or 2 squadrons in this case and issue new RFI for another 110 MMRCA.

RFI for additional 110 MMRCA was released on 06 July 2018, which clearly stipulates that the first 16 or 17 aircraft will be procured ready to fly condition and the remaining 92 or 93 to be made in India under TOT.

Six global companies have already responded to the RFI, which is considered to be quick decision-making looking at the past defence contract. Links of RFI and related news are here and here for your reference:

CONCLUSION

It is my humble request to all of my fellow citizens that don’t follow public figures who are ‘termites’ in our political system, who feed by creating rumours and leverage upon the limited knowledge of Indians. At this moment in Indian political history, no one is as dangerous as these “Vamp” type politicians, who are busy in putting up a good show rather than putting across the real facts.

If we look at the entire Rafale deal in retrospect, it can be summarised as follows:

  1. IAF gave an urgent requirement to maintain minimum 42 squadrons in 2006,between 2000-2012 IAF’s actual strength declined to 34 squadrons.
  2. RFP for 126 to procure aircraft was issued in 2007 by Vajpayee Government.
  3. Congress govt came in power and declared Dassault as L1 in 2012. Negotiations between HAL & Dassault started.
  4. There were major disagreements between HAL and Dassault, such as man-hour quoted by HAL for manufacturing were exorbitantly high, doubts related to  manufacturing and other service costs incurred.
  5. The issues were out in open and Congress govt slept on it, completely undermining the fact that IAF wanted these aircraft urgently in 2006. IAF and Indian security was put on stake, due to logjam in decision-making.
  6. Modi government comes in power in May 2014 and takes prompt decision in favour of national security. NDA government quickly acted and finalised the deal under G2G contract for fast delivery of aircraft in ready to fly condition with all weapons and avionics.
  7. In addition to this to favour make in India issues new RFI for 110 MMRCA under TOT of DPP to enhance capability of Indian Industries and provide required aircraft to IAF.

I believe it’s a prompt action taken by any Indian government so far and we should applaud them instead of getting influenced by those who actually did nothing when they had power to take decisions and delayed the procurement of urgently required aircraft for IAF.

I support for change towards nation interest

In 2013 I had changed my mind about Narendra Modi; In 2018 my belief in Modi has strengthened.

Right from his first decision, which took the world by surprise, for the first time in our history, heads of all SAARC countries were invited to be part of the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. The foreign policy had seen only rapid strides ever since – with India playing a pivotal role in the formation of the unique and prestigious International Solar Alliance (for which he got UN’s most prestigious award Champion of the earth), with India joining the many key alliances of the world and more importantly the unique ways in which Prime Minister Modi developed a personal rapport with many world leaders. Surgical strikes are proof enough of his commitment to keep the country’s flag flying high; his most understated achievement is the improved internal security situation of the country. Outside of J&K and Punjab, we haven’t had a terrorist attack in our towns and cities. The violence in the North Eastern states has come down by 50%, which has also prompted the removal of the AFSPA; the drastic reduction in the number of Naxals and their activities in the country.

Through a unique UDAN program, 25 new airports have been made operational in the country (compare that to 70 airports in the 70 years since Independence!). The year 2017 saw more number of people take flights than those who traveled in AC Trains. If this isn’t reflective of our economic growth and improved connectivity.

NO JOBS added screamed every opposition leader and the English media followed suit. Not one media wanted to point out the fact that the Modi government has put significant focus on entrepreneurship through revolutionary schemes like MUDRA and Standup India, and this data is traditionally not captured as parts of “Jobs”.

“Make in India” was mocked to no end, but today when you buy a cell phone, instead of a “Made in China”, today we see a Made in India label. That’s possible because there are about 120 mobile manufacturing units in India. With 12 phones being produced per second, nation now became world number 2 in mobile manufacturing.

In its Endeavour to double the farmers’ income by 2022, the Govt has increased the MSP by 1.5 times. Increased Buffer stock for pulses from 1.5 lakh tons to 20 lakh tons.

The demand for One Rank One Pension (OROP) was also pending for decades. People of India, our brave army personnel had faith in us and we were able to take a decision on OROP. We will always take decisions in the interests of our nation.

The Union cabinet cleared the ordinance on POCSO act whereby death penalty will be given to those convicted of raping a child up to 12 years of age. Centre has cleared the criminal law amendment ordinance and POCSO Act is a part of this amendment.

Indian healthcare is poised for a great leap forward with Ayushman Bharat – which will insure over 50 cr citizens. OBC commissioned has been strengthened.

Due to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, lakhs of children can lead healthier lives. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) has praised it. UNICEF recently undertook a study’s on Swachh Bharat mission. As a result, the organization found out that every rupee that is invested in improving sanitation in the country will help save Rs 4.30. Nicolas Osbert, the chief of WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) while sharing the findings of the survey said, “In a open defecation free (ODF) community, considering medical costs averted, the value of time savings and the value of mortality averted, the financial savings for each household is Rs 50,000 per year,”. The survey also stated that the benefits are highest for the poorest section of the population.

1. Declared ‘Triple Talaq’ unconstitutional
2. Established Right to Privacy
3. Recognized transgender individuals as a legitimate ‘third gender’.
4. Struck off section 66A of the IT act, which allowed arrests for Facebook posts
5. Allowed passive euthanasia for terminal cases
6. Decriminalised consensual homosexuality by partial repeal of Section 377 of Indian Penal Code
7. Upheld validity of Adhaar, appreciated its power to benefit the poor, reconciled it with privacy law

Our judiciary is in its purple patch. Looks like the constitution is not letting us down and strengthening a lot.

In 2014, Narendra Modi had enthused the people of this country like never before, as is evident from the election results. And in the past 4 ½ years, he has shown us how he means business and beyond; how he is receptive to feedback; he has often reminded us about our duties and has led from the front to bring in changes to our system and has encouraged us to dream big to contribute towards a New India by 2022.

This is not in the support of any political party nor to make political gain, it’s just to show the fact what has changed in these 4plus years, Many people ask me that ‘are you a BJP supporter?’ I believe in politics. I feel no human being is beyond politics. I am biased towards NATION interests. I support who guards them. Hence I support MODI. Don’t keep on any masks, as long as I believe my understanding stands right. The Educated and Logical people should understand these things and share with them who required it. Just think before you vote.

For him to guide us towards the dream of New India, it is imperative that he wins in 2019. The noise and the clutter created by the opposition must be drowned in the rain of his achievements. Narendrabhai – like in 2014, I will do whatever I can, to spread your message and help you win again! Aap aage bado, hum tumhare saath hain!

Words Inspired Me:

John F.Kennedy spoke his famous words, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”

African author Idowu Koyenikan’s: “Your pride for your country should not come after your country becomes great. Your country becomes great because of your pride in it.”

Narendra Modi: “Saugandh mujhe is mitti ki, main desh nahi jhukne dunga (I take an oath upon this soil, I will not let the country bow)”.

Jai Hind; Bharat Mata ki Jai.

The cost of the Nehru-Gandhi name

0

A lot of controversy has recently erupted over the cost of Sardar Patel statue built by PM Modi. The argument being India and its people could have used the 3000 crore spent on the statue elsewhere. As is common in political debates, political rivals led the argument.

On the face of it the argument seems rational that why spend 3000 crore on honoring a leader when we can do some social service instead. Socialism does always seem rational to the simple minded. But that’s a debate for another time.

So looking across the political spectrum at the national rivals to the BJP, the Congress party and its head the Nehru-Gandhi family lineage, I asked myself have they spent anything on honoring these great leaders of India?

The first thing that struck me was the overwhelming number of places, institutions and schemes etc that have been named in honor of them. So what, you’ll retort, naming doesn’t cost anything. It’s just a name. Well not entirely.

The Delhi metro recently started selling naming rights to its stations. There are about 229 stations in Delhi metro and the first lot was auctioned for approximately 2 crore based on open source information. Let us keep that as baseline and estimate what is the naming rights cost of the Nehru-Gandhi name.

So what all is named after them? Based on open source non-exhaustive search these are the ones I’ve been able to find divided in 3 categories.

  1. Central Government Schemes – 12
  • State Government Schemes – 52
  • Universities/Education Institutes – 98
  • Hospitals/Medical Institutions – 39
  • Peaks and Geographical Landmarks – 4
  • Airports/ Ports/Aviation Academies – 5
  • Institutions / Chairs / Festivals – 37
  • Roads/Buildings/places – 74
  1. Awards – 51
  • Scholarship / Fellowship – 15
  • Sports/Tournaments/Trophies – 28
  1. Stadium and Sports Complex – 19

4. National Parks/ Sanctuaries/ Museums – 15

So coming to the first category, they consist of government schemes, hospitals and airports for which naming rights cannot be given to private companies. So let’s leave them be.

The second category consists of sport trophies, awards etc in many fields. The total number of such schemes comes to 94. Now keeping in mind our sports and film crazy populace and national imprint, what will be a reasonable amount. Hitting Professor Google again led to some interesting facts, in Australia a small regional award ceremony for social services was giving naming rights for 369,500 dollars or 2 crore approximately. Now there are 2 factors, our awards etc being on a national scale should fetch much more higher remunerations but countered with the fact maybe being a developed country, Australia will be more expensive. So let’s keep at 2 crore per award/trophy for now being a very conservative estimate. That comes to 188 crore per year.

Now coming to the final category of bonanza stadiums and sport complexes. Worldwide these naming rights are going for huge amounts of 6 – 20 million dollars (42 – 140 crore) per year. One thing we have learned from IPL is that we don’t lag behind in any way when it comes to sports. Keeping our figures at the lower limit even now for conservative estimates we shall take 40 crore per year. So we get 360 crore per year for 19 stadiums. Keeping ballpark of 10 crore for national parks, sanctuaries and museums, we get 150 crore per year.

All in all it comes to approximately 700 crore per year, which keeping in mind the number of years since independence comes to around 500,000 crore at current market prices at the most conservative estimates in my humble estimate. Personally I feel it may go up to 2 lac crore but anyway.

500,000 crore!!

That’s what the answer to the title is.

I may be wrong, I am after all just extrapolating data. In fact I am sure I am wrong, the only question is whether it is still even more or less than my estimate.

Again 500,000 crore.

3,000 crore seems paltry now, doesn’t it?

TDP, Congress Alliance is like the story of ‘the fox and the goat of Aesop

0

In science it may be true that oil will not be miscible in water without an emulsifier, acid will certainly react with alkali and iron will not evaporate out like camphor or water when frozen doesn’t become diamond. But in In Indian politics all the above scientific facts are not true and hold no merit and that is what Mr. Chandrababu Naidu of TDP has proven.

The new avatar of Chandrababu Naidu deciding to join hand with the dynast to save democracy and India has proved nothing but the story of Aesop- ‘The fox and the goat’.

A fox accidentally fell into a well and was trying to escape. Suddenly it saw a goat and told the goat that there is going to be severe drought in coming days so to ensure water during such period, it had jumped into the well and hiding over there secretly. Further the fox also told the goat that it can accommodate goat if the goat also wants to jump into the well. The foolish goat believing the drought story to be true jumped inside the well. As soon as the goat landed inside the well, the fox jumped over the goat and escaped from the well but the foolish goat trapped inside the well and died of starvation. Today Chandrababu Naidu is proving nothing but he is the goat and rest is left to the readers’ imagination.

The story of Aesop is becoming true in AP. Congress has heartlessly divided AP and has lost its base. Several decades ago, against the misrule of congress, the veteran actor of Telugu movies and former Chief Minister of AP, NT Rama Rao formed Telugu Desam Party. TDP has remained as anti-congress party and came to power with the support of BJP by highlighting the injustice of congress for dividing the state. But today the same TDP under Chandrababu Naidu wants to become the goat to the congress which is in the well, citing democracy under peril. The real fear of Chandrababu Naidu is Jagan Mohan Reddy and not democracy. Ultimately the TDP is going to vanish from AP.

People of AP will not forgive Chandrababu Naidu for the historic and unforgivable sin of joining hands with congress of the dynast. It appears Jagan Mohan Reddy and BJP are the future of AP and people have started to gravitate towards them.

Chandrababu Naidu had tried his best to cover up his misrule and failures upon BJP. But people of AP are wise so they did not believe Naidu and instead started to shift towards Reddy. The ground reality has made Naidu jittery and confused. Today he is trying all kinds of unholy political experiments to somehow catch the attention of people.

Jagam Mohan Reddy was insulted and bruised brutally by congress party without any grain of gratitude to his father who was the one gave strong footing to congress in AP. As a result, all anti congress people and people who wants a new AP to be built have moved towards Reddy. The self-destructive decision of Naidu to fall at the feet of the dynast whose party has divided AP which he himself had accused the congress in the last elections season has given sufficient proof to the people of AP that something has gone terribly wrong with Naidu and therefore Naidu should not be trusted anymore.

The political landscape of AP clearly promises that the combination Reddy and BJP combine is must for AP as people of AP strongly believe that only BJP and Reddy alone can make AP a developed state.

Reddy is in fact the second generation politicians therefore he will in all likelihood would focus only on development and sab ka vikas mission of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Whereas Naidu is fighting for his political survival and for his political survival Naidu has decided to pay any price at the expense of AP. People of AP are wise and matured and also have seen how India has developed since 2014 in comparison with how India was during congress regime.

People of AP wish and pray for the re-birth of Shri NT Rama Rao as urged by his wife.

It is clear that no true TDP follower would ever pardon Chandrababu Naidu for making AP a goat to rescue the fox in the well. Like India, AP also wants development and sab ka vikas which BJP and Reddy alone can offer.
