Dr. Manmohan Singh- Not a shadow Prime Minister

0

A shadow Prime Minister, is but a myth that movies like accidental Prime Minister help propagate, about Dr Manmohan Singh Kohli. An old aphorism—a man should be judged by his actions and not words, is deft for someone like Dr Singh, who spoke sporadically, yet managed to make it to the second highest chair of India, which by no means is an easy feat, and is most definitely not accidental.

If one were to ruminate about Dr. Singh’s actions; he has been quite a paradox. To quote an example– at the G-20 meet, held in feb 2013, he was vociferous about Sikhs being at the receiving end of harsh security checks in foreign countries. But even as he extended his support to his kin, he forgot the fact that he was a part of a political party which had been directly involved in Sikh riots of 1984, a topic on which he chose to keep mum. This does reflect on the lesser known side of him. It would really be unbecoming of anyone to not appreciate the efforts of our Ex-Prime minister to voice in support of the Sikh minority in the country, albeit his silence at the vandalised Buddhist and Hindu statues after a change in regime in Maldives, makes one wonder if Dr.Singh was trifle biased towards certain communities?

Since Sonia Gandhi was not from the Sikh community, it can be surmised that these were not the instructions that Dr.Singh received from his high command. The high command might have played a role in getting Dr.Singh elected to Rajya Sabha, four times—1991,1995,2001,2007, as a representative of the state of Assam, by circumventing the representation of people’s act, section 3, which till 2003 wasn’t amended. The unamended law entailed– the state from which a person sought election to upper house, must also be his or her domicile. To fulfill this requirement, Dr.Singh had to acquire a residential address in Guwahati, but then Kapil Sibal and L.K Advani were also guilty of violating this act, and ergo nobody from the other camps objected to Dr.Singh’s representation in Rajya Sabha.

Affinity to kinship is a human trait which Dr. Singh was no stranger to; during his tenure as the PM of India, he preferred to be surrounded by many Sikhs, and this is an open secret, but some of them were controversial appointments, which raised a few eyebrows. One bad apple that he stuck very loyally to was– Bhuta Singh who was indicted by the Supreme Court for his mala fide role in government formation in Bihar, after the elections of 2005. An embarrassed UPA govt removed Bhuta Singh from his post, yet Dr.Singh decided to give him a cabinet minister rank, by making him the Chairman of National commission for Schedule caste. Later Bhuta Singh’s son was arrested by CBI in a corruption case related to the commission.

The above are innocuous acts when compared to the allegations that were made against one of  Dr.Singh’s favourite man– Nehchal Sandhu, IB chief, another kin. Ostensibly, it was Sandhu who leaked news of Army contingent’s movement to Delhi in 2012, calling the maneuver a coup by Gen.V.K Singh. Heckles were raised and media demanded to remove Gen V.K Singh, who was already facing an age-related predicament in the court. Sandhu was also close to men who had used their positions against Gen V.K Singh; one of them being Gen JJ Singh (Ex-COAS) and later governor of Arunachal Pradesh.

Gen JJ Singh, in an attempt to continue the “line of succession”, wanted Gen Bikram Singh to succeed Gen VK Singh, and helped in his meteoric rise through the ranks in Army, despite Gen Bikram Singh’s involvement in a fake encounter in J&K. Another hurdle to Gen Bikram Singh’s ascension to the post of Chief of Army Staff, was the fact that his daughter-in-law was a Pakistani, who was later given a clean chit by Intelligence bureau, which was then headed by Nehchal Sandhu. Another man under Sandhu’s wing was, Lt Gen Tejinder Singh, who was accused by Gen V.K Singh of offering him a bribe in Tatra truck scam. Sandhu, Gen JJ Singh and Gen Bikram Singh were all in Dr.Manmohan Singh’s good books. One would have to be sitting with his eyes shut to not see men close to him indulge in activities which denigrated the image of Indian army, and thereby discouraged the men in uniform. Was Dr. Singh blind or was he pretending so?

As a loyalist to Congress party, Dr. Singh, has often been projected as the man who sacrificed his reputation for the corrupt leaders within the party; very few members of the party can claim a pedestal, like AK Antony and Dr. Manmohan Singh. Yet in 1991, Dr. Singh as the finance minister landed himself in a corruption quagmire, when BCCI (Bank of Credit and Commerce International), a bank orchestrated by ISI-CIA, collapsed. He was accused of permitting the bank to open its branch in India when he was the RBI governor in 1982, and his daughter’s scholarship through the bank also came under scrutiny in the parliament. These were times when financial misappropriation was rampant in India, and close to 55 Govt officials were found to be involved in the case.

Time heals all, they say. Over an epoch, Dr. Manmohan Singh, managed to steam roll to a powerful position where nobody had the gumption to doubt his moral compass. Yet to assume this man, was eclipsed and worked under the strict instructions of his high command, is but an underestimation of his legendary Oxfordian intellectual capabilities.

Modi’s master stroke on Ayodhya land dispute

0

After great strokes of EWS bill, surgical strike, triple talak, decimating Pakistan across world, Modi govt. brings again one major master stroke on Ram Mandir construction. This is a major move and nobody will be able, be it political parties or media, to oppose. Government has appealed the supreme court to return 67 acre land which is not disputed in Ayodhya.

It’s is important to note that after too many dates given for hearing on Ayodhya dispute by the Supreme Court; there is no progress made as SC is not bothered by emotions of billions of law abiding Hindus, who were hopping for justice and as every body knew judges of supreme courts are relieving themselves one by one from the bench. It’s offending belief of crores of Hindus in justice system.

So there was a great pressure on government to either bring an ordinance or find some other alternative to give a way to construct Ram Mandir. Hindus who form major vote bank of BJP is loosing hopes in Modi government and constitution. There were chances of civil unrest in 2019 after election if this case is not making any progress. To avoid it and win election, present government has to respect and address majority population peaceful and legal demand.

Therefore in view of no progress on the issue; government has decided alternate legal route to appeal supreme court to hand over undisputed land to Ram Nyas Parished.

Government has to adopt legal options only as if they would have brought ordinance, as there could have been chances of civil and political unrest in society. This move looks good and legally correct. This astute political move gives government an upper hand over opposition as they will directly be exposed if they start opposing this move. If opposition does this BJP will go to public and will start exposing their stand on Ayodhya land dispute and it will cost opposition parties.

Therefore it can be considered a master stroke by the Modi government as opposition has no option than to support this legal route on Ram Mandir, adopted by the government.

Ram Mandir construction seems possible by this move, BJP seems to be successful in retaining its core vote bank before election.

Why Kamaraj was defeated in 1967 and why so much of anti-Modi chorus in Tamil Nadu

0

People who have learned the history of hate politics in Tamil Nadu which was inaugurated by Dravidian politics will certainly agree that today Narendra Modi is facing the same fate of Kamaraj in 1967. But people of Tamil Nadu have changed and therefore will not make the same mistake of defeating Kamaraj and electing Dravidian brand politics of negativity, anti-God, anti-Hindi, anti-Hindu, anti-Brahmin-ism.

People generally believe that Kamaraj lost election in 1967 only because of Hindi imposition strategy of the then central government and other allied issues. But the truth was different.  Kamaraj brought a big revolution in Tamil Nadu education where he introduced midday meal scheme in every school, started school in every village, brought uniform system, industrialized the state, improved the economy etc., but still he was defeated in 1967.

It was largely believed that Kamaraj suffered defeat purely due to some wrong political strategy of the then central Government.  The possibility of the Christian conversion-inst and their affiliates from the foreign soil also might have wanted the defeat of Kamaraj due to his educational reform in the state.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MOmh6TB_Xk

Christian conversion-inst came to India mainly to covert people to Christianity. They adopted several strategies and one of the strategies was to setup up educational institutions and through which they want to accomplish their mission. It could have been perceived that Kamaraj made a great reform in education in Tamil Nadu where no student in the school shall remain hungry thanks to midday meal scheme. The educational reform would have certainly angered the pith and pin of Christian conversion-inst. Victory of Kamaraj again in 1967 from the above context would prove greater danger to Christian conversion-ist and hence want Kamaraj to be defeated at any cost.

The above possibility gains credible ground from the style of leadership displayed by EV Ramasamy Naicker and his followers. EVR was always want British rule to continue than India’s independence which he called as North Indian (Aryan) rule. EVR in fact treated India’s Independence Day as black day. The Dravidian brigades also imported the term ‘Dravidian’ from Caldwell, a Christian missionary to rename Tamil identity.

The details shared by TN Seshan in his book – “Seshan- an intimate story” written by K Govindan Kutty of Konark Publishers suggest that Dravidian brand politics was in touch with Christian missionaries to work against Hindus may be to accomplish the agenda of conversion of the missionaries.

All the above details when be corroborate points towards a ploy well organized by some forces along with the Dravidian party. It was so unfortunate that Tamil Nadu defeated a great visionary – Kamaraj in 1967 and paved way for the politics of hatred, negativity, anti-god, anti-Hindi, anti-Hindu and anti-Brahmin movement. Development of the state was hampered, corruption occupied the centre stage and the dynastic politics become the end result after the state is being handed over to Dravidian brand politics.

The anti-Modi politics that makes rock-bottom dance today in Tamil Nadu reminds nothing but a lobby that had worked together to defeat the development and prosperity of Tamil Nadu through defeating Kamaraj in 1967, today several such similar forces are working against Narendra Modi because he is firm against corruption, nepotism and dynastic politics. He wants development and sab ka vikas like Kamaraj and not vikas of one family either in Delhi or in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu will prosper and develop only if the state is ruled by the ethos of MGR and Amma with the guidance of the visionary leader PM Narendra Modi from the centre. Family politics and politics of negativity, hatred, anti-God, anti-Hindu, anti-Hindi, anti-Brahmin etc., initiated by Dravidian brand politics will do nothing to the state. Political friendship between the two dynasts will mean more to own family than to the state.  Hope people of Tamil Nadu will recognize the ground truth.

People of the state are coming back to Bhakti era of Tamil Nadu where divine worship, temple offering and rituals etc., have significantly increased in the state which is a great sign of change from Dravidian anti-God politics that ruined the state.

MGR was the first to question the issue of corruption in Tamil Nadu politics when he was the treasurer of DMK. Subsequently Amma brought several welfare and social reform schemes to make Tamil Nadu a very prosperous state.

The legacy of Amma must continue with the friendship and guidance of PM Narendra Modi, a leader known for integrity, tireless enthusiasm for India, committed totally for development and sab ka vikas.

Rahul Gandhi: tell us about Coalgate files, how UPA vanished them

Rahul Gandhi is going to town repeating outrageous lies about the Rafael deal. He alleged that Anil Ambani had been given Rs 1,30,000 crore in the case, whereas the whole deal was worth Rs 58,000 crores only, of which the value with which Ambani’s company dealt was no more than 800 crore. Rahul Gandhi later reduced this figure to Rs 30,000 crore ignoring completely the answers given by Union Ministers Arun Jaitley and Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament.
The reasons for Rahul Gandhi lying like this are simple-his party itself in a ditch, and he needs support from anyone he can get- the poor, the so-called ‘lower’ castes, minorities, and others to get his party out of the ditch, and hence he is making false charges on the PM, and of course to deflect attention from the Agustawestland case, where Christian Michel has been extradited to India, and from the National Herald case in which Rahul Gandhi is out on bail. But in all this, a very important scam from the UPA time has been forgotten, and that is the Coalgate one.
Rahul Gandhi has to be questioned about it. At the time of the UPA rule, in 2013 or so when this scam became crystal clear, Rahul Gandhi made very rare appearances in the media, and had no Twitter account, and so escaped answering tough questions.
Delhi correspondent of Marathi daily Tarun Bharat, Ravindra Dani wrote a very important article on the Coalgate scam on 26 August 2013 in Tarun Bharat. Its English translation is given [translated by this writer from Marathi to English]. This was during the UPA 2 rule. Now Rahul Gandhi is claiming to talk of ‘corruption’, and calling the Prime Minister of the country a ‘thief’. Rahul had earlier in 2017 lied about Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah too. Such lies Rahul parroted on twitter, and in rallies in Gujarat. We would all like to ask Rahul some questions about the deeds in the last year of his party’s rule. The following is Ravindra Dani’s article in Tarun Bharat dated 26 August 2013.

 “Files reduced to Ashes

When Union Coal Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal of the Congress entered Parliament with an angar on his forehead in August 2013, there was a reaction-‘This angar is not of God-religion, but of the Coalgate scam’s missing files’.
Parliament was rattled by the missing files of the Coalgate scam. It was expected that after it was brought to light that some files of the scam are missing, its impact would be seen in Parliament. But, thinking from the other perspective, the files going missing was also expected.

   Indications towards 10, Janpath

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had shed some light on the Coalgate scam while returning home from a foreign trip. ‘I have not allowed a single mine. Not a single relative of mine is in this, there is no support to a single industrialist from me. It is correct that I had the additional responsibility of the Coal Ministry when the coal scam was happening. But, there is absolutely no role of me in this scam. Whatever I did was as per the telling of Sonia Gandhi’s Political Advisor Ahmed Patel. I allocated the coal mines as per the recommendations of Ahmed Patel.’

The ramifications of this statement of Dr Manmohan Singh were seen in a Mumbai newspaper. After that, 10, Janpath gave up the plan of removing Manmohan Singh and instead took the position of defending him. It is now being thought that the files were disappeared out of the strategy of ‘Save Manmohan’. Had these files been given to CBI or CBI accessed them, it would have been nearly impossible to save Manmohan Singh. And if Manmohan Singh had been in trouble, then he would have pointed to Ahmed Patel to save himself. And from that, 10, Janpath would have been in trouble. It was necessary to get rid of the files to avoid all this, and this was done very efficiently.

                                                Number of files

It is difficult to say exactly how many files of the Coalgate scam are missing. The UPA government is saying that only 7 files are missing, whereas the CBI is saying that this number is more than 250. Opposition members of BJP and other parties are saying that more than 1100 files are missing. The number of missing files is a relatively less important point. The government has accepted the fact of files missing of the biggest ever scam in the history of the nation. The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that: “He is not a custodian of these files.” These files are being searched for. On the other hand, the office of the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) has said that they have Xerox copies of some of the missing files. Firstly, it is not clear which files are missing. There is no possibility of it becoming clear either. Therefore it will also not be clear that the Xerox copies with the CAG are of which files. And there is absolutely no possibility of the CAG having Xerox copies of the files which are missing. There is no reason for the UPA Government to vanish the files whose copies are with the CAG. The Government has that much intelligence and understanding.
This means that very important files have been vanished by the government, the possibility of which being found is absolutely nil. The Congress government which used all its might to suppress the 64 crore Bofors scam, made a minister like Madhavsinh Solanki a ‘sacrificial lamb’, put all sorts of obstacles in the investigation, far from searching for the missing files, has made comprehensive arrangements that they won’t be accessed by absolutely anyone. According to a leader, it is not possible to search for those files. Because they are now not in existence at all. They have already been reduced to ashes. This statement of this leader is held to be correct. The files, documents which are troublesome for 10, Janpath are directly burnt. This is the unwritten rule of the Delhi Durbar. There is no reason why the Coalgate files will be an exception to it.

Eyes on the Supreme Court

The missing files of Coalgate are not going to be found. Even though the Opposition parties have tried to ask the government an answer in Parliament, the only important issue now is what position the government takes in the Supreme Court. The government had interfered with the status report of the Coalgate investigation. The then Law Minister Ashwini Kumar had called the Director of CBI and told him to make some changes in it. The Supreme Court took a serious note of it, and not only rapped the CBI Director, but also started the process of making CBI autonomous. In this case, only Ashwini Kumar had to give resignation. The answer to the question- “On whose telling did Ashwini Kumar do the job of interfering with the CBI report?” has also been got now. Ashwini Kumar has been appointed as the Special Ambassador of the Prime Minister to strengthen ties with Japan. That is the status of Cabinet. The meaning of this is clear. The Prime Minister who realized that Ashwini Kumar was made a sacrificial lamb in the attempt to save him (Manmohan) has in a way returned the favour to Ashwini Kumar. It will be important to see what stand the Supreme Court, which took a strong position on the tampering of a report of the Coalgate scam, takes on the issue of missing files.

                                                           FIR to be filed?

Government files vanishing is an offence. The CBI will have to register an FIR in that reference. The Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley has already made such a demand. Which names are taken in the FIR filed by the CBI will be known after the CBI files the FIR.”
   – (26 August 2013, Tarun Bharat)

Later, in December 2013 the CBI (caged parrot under UPA) claimed to have found some missing files of the period from 2006-09, but certainly not all. And none of the files missing from the period of 1993-2004 was found, which were the ones which the then Union Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal had admitted were missing. The SC had condemned the UPA Government for allowing files to go to missing in this Coalgate scam. Over missing files, the government, then led by the UPA, had incurred the wrath of the Court when the Ministry was asked in 2013 if it was “an attempt to destroy records” to impede the CBI investigation. The top court had then pointed out that the missing files could be the crucial records for certain cases being probed, and that if the Ministry was unable to trace them, the CBI should register complaints into the issue.

On its directive, the CBI had in September 2013 lodged two preliminary inquiries into missing records, which comprised at least 18 files related to allocation of coal blocks. The then leaders of opposition in both the houses of the Parliament — Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj — from the BJP, had alleged that the files were made to disappear pursuant to a conspiracy by the UPA to screen some offenders.

In an article titled: “Coal mines, missing files and caged parrots: 10 things you need to know about Coalgate” Business Standard had reported in August 2014:

“2) The CAG in its final report in August 2012 said the actual loss to the exchequer because of non-auctioning of coal blocks between 2004 and 2009 was about Rs 1.86 lakh crore, almost a tenth of what initial media reports had been saying.

3) The CAG report’s most damning statement was that the government had had the option to go the competitive auction route by mid-2006, following an opinion by the law ministry, but chose not to do so. Manmohan Singh was Prime Minister at the time in the UPA government and held the coal ministry portfolio briefly in 2004 and then for almost five years between 2007 and 2012.

4) Subsequently, after a complaint by 2 Bharatiya Janata Party members in 2012, the Central Vigilance Commission directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to institute a probe.

5) In mid-August last year [2013], the coal scam took a twist after Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal admitted that some crucial files relating to the investigation between 1993 and 2004 had gone missing. The admission came after a Supreme Court directive to the government to co-operate with the CBI’s inquiry.

6) The scam became notable for the role of the CBI in the investigation, as well as the propriety of various bureaucrats and ministers. Early in 2013, CBI director Ranjit Sinha admitted to the SC that its initial report on the scam had been shared with the law minister as well as bureaucrats from the coal ministry and the Prime Minister’s Office and that certain changes had been made to the report. This had prompted the Supreme Court to term the CBI as a ‘caged parrot’.

7) This admission also led to Law Minister Ashwani Kumar has to resign his position.

8) Some of India’s blue-chip companies have also been named in the scam, including Essar, JSPL, Tata Power, and Hindalco. The CBI had also named Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of the sprawling Birla group, in a first information report (FIR) relating to Hindalco but on Sunday said it would close the case against the tycoon as well as that against P C Parakh, who was coal secretary during the period when the coal block allocations were made. The CBI will also not question former prime minister Manmohan Singh or Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the case.

9) Earlier this year, Parakh caught everyone by surprise when he said that Manmohan Singh could have, but did not, stop coal ministers Shibu Soren and Dasari Narayan Rao from reversing his own decisions to auction coal blocks. He was speaking at the release of his book Crusader or Conspirator: Coalgate and Other Truths.

10) On Sunday, former CAG head Vinod Rai revealed that he had faced pressure from the UPA government to leave out certain names from the CAG’s report.”

Now the question arises, Dear Mr Rahul Gandhi, what about the missing coal scam files? The Government was of the UPA, and many files vanished. The ‘caged-parrot CBI’ itself said 250 files were missing whereas the Opposition had alleged 1100 files missing.  What did the UPA do to ‘find’ the files? Of course, it burnt them to ashes. But exactly how many? 1100, 250 or 7? In any case, files vanishing is an offence. Who is responsible for that in UPA? Rahul-Sonia who did this to save themselves and Ahmed Patel and the then Prime Minister? Who put pressure on CAG Vinod Rai to leave out certain names from the CAG’s report? Was it the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, or was it Sonia Gandhi, or was it, Rahul Gandhi? We want an answer on this from Rahul!

The transparent auctioning of the Coal mines done by the Narendra Modi Government earned revenue of 2 lakh crores or so for the country, with only a small percentage of the mines auctioned. More was earned from spectrum auctioning with some more mines auctioned. When all mines will be auctioned, the revenue will be much more. It shows that the loss the nation suffered due to Coalgate scam of the UPA was not even 1.86 lakh crores, it was much more than that.

Entry of ‘Scientific corruption’ in Tamil Nadu politics and how to save the state

0

DMK came to power in 1967 by using Anti-Hindi, Anti-God, Anti-Hindu, Anti-Brahmin politics and politics of disfiguring the Tamil identity with Dravidian tag. CN Annadurai became the first DMK Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Anna was in the office only for two years and Anna held the government free of corruption and retained his integrity and honesty in public life. However things have changed rapidly due to his untimely death. The first allegation of corruption against DMK was made not by the opposition parties but by the treasurer of the DMK– MG Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR. MGR had asked for the details of poll expenses which M Karunanidhi refused to give citing such disclosure may unnecessarily expose the names of those who offered donation and most of such donations may be ill-gotten, tax evaded money.  This argument was well supported by EV Ramasamy Naicker in his speech.

Subsequent to the smelling of rat and something was rotten in Denmark, MGR who is known for his personal honesty and commitment for uplifting poor, left DMK and in 1972 founded a new political party called Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK). Then MGR submitted a memorandum to the President of India to constitute a commission of enquiry into the charges of corruption against M Karunanidhi the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Further several cabinet members and district functionaries of DMK were also alleged to have involved in various corruptions.

The anti-corruption move got further momentum with the efforts of M Kalyanasundaram of Communist Party of India submitting similar request with President of India.

Indira Gandhi promulgated emergency when she was embroiled in corruption charges and in January 31 1976 DMK government was dismissed. Subsequently the Supreme Court Judge Ranjit Singh Sarkaria was appointed as one-man commission to enquire all the twenty-eight allegations of corruption and misuse of power by DMK and karunanidhi.

Sarkaria commission submitted its first report in March 1977 proving several charges of corruption were true and coined the term for Karunanidhi and his associates as “masters of scientific corruption”.

However the political unrest during and post emergency had drifted the focus of Indian politics more towards Indira Gandhi which saved DMK. Although DMK was the first political party in Tamil Nadu to institutionalize corruption in the state politics, but the congress was the first political party in India to undermine the anti-corruption mechanism in a systematic manner by burying the hard labour of justice Sarkaria.

UPA 1 and UPA 2 again saw the repeat of history where several scandals of national shame such as 2G, coal, CWG, Telecom, Aircell-Maxis etc., broke out.

Before 1967, the corruption was only remotely present in Tamil Nadu politics and had never reached the proportion where the party in government involved in institutionalizing corruption in a scientific manner by DMK and Karunanidhi as pointed out by Justice Sarkaria.

To the several decades of corruption rule in India, PM Modi put an end and saved India, brought the agenda of development to the centre stage, sab ka vikas become the theme and mission and regained the glory and reputation of India at international level.

But to destabilize the mission of clean India, one India and India with the agenda of development and sab ka vikas, the same old nexus is reviving its lost ground in Tamil Nadu.

MGR and then Amma placed the politics of dynasty and family rule in Tamil Nadu to the corner but the demise of Amma has shattered the state and is pegging for a great leader to lead.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is although showing special care and attachments to the state and doing his best to lift the state but the divisive politics in the state in the name of Dravidian brand politics is confusing the people of the state and pushing them down to the narrow interest of regional politics, hate politics and politics of Dravidian identity.

Need of the day is to save the state from the ruing culture of dynastic politics and politics of negativism and hatred. A decisive leader like Narendra Modi is needed by the state and not divisive leader to play the same old Dravidian brand politics to retain the dynastic rule.

The bigger threat of the state is not corruption but development and ethos of one India. PM Modi at the helm at centre and Amma’s rule in the state are necessary for the state to progress. The way people of Tamil Nadu are coming back to divine worship and temple rituals, it looks like the state will not elect the party that promote hatred, anti-God, anti-Hindu, anti-Brahmin, anti-Hindi politics and politics that mask the true identity of Tamil with Dravidian tag to protect the dynastic rule.

Yes I am a Modi Bhakt: Read why

0

Today I can proudly say that am Modi bhakt. But why? Yes, I will stand by him.

Do I think Modi is perfect? NO.

Do I believe Modi doesn’t make any mistake? NO.

Do I believe Modi government has fulfilled all that we want? NO

Do I feel he will make India like Europe or USA in his lifetime? NO.

But I stand by his side like a rock. Why?

➤ Because I do believe he is doing whatever he can in a very honest, dedicated and committed way.

➤ Because I do believe he is giving his best to improve the country in all areas.

➤ Because I have seen that massive corruption at cabinet ministerial level has disappeared.

➤ Because I have seen that India has not witnessed any terror attack on civilians in last 4 years under his rule.

➤ Because I have seen him taking unpopular steps just to make sure subsidies and taxes reach to the poor people and not middlemen.

➤ Because he has pushed forward many reforms which are not going down well with people today, but will unleash a new India when the results of those reforms – structural, economic, infrastructural will be visible in next 8-10 years.

➤ Because I know even if he is not perfect, he is much better than Lalu Yadav. He is much better than Akhilesh Yadav. He is much better than Mayawati. He is much better than Mamata Banerjee. He is much better than Rahul Gandhi.

➤ He is a hard working person. He has no family or anyone after him. Anyone of you who keep abusing him, are you even a fraction of him in dedication, focus, integrity, hard work and getting things done.

He is cleaner than all the names I took above. He is not corrupt. He is a visionary. He has solutions to many problems (if not all).

➤ He may not make India like Europe or US in his lifetime however hard he tries. But atleast he is governing much better than previous regimes. Check macro and micro-economic parameters. Compare infrastructure growth. Compare core areas. Compare GDP growth. Compare wholesale and consumer inflation. Every single parameter is much healthier than before.

Yes there are problems. Governing a country as heterogenous and vast as India which has been reeling under problems since centuries is never a joke.

Now ask yourself – who can and who has the capability to solve your problems?

Hardik? Alpesh? Jignesh? Tejaswi? Akhilesh? Mayawati? Mamata? Lalu? Yechury? Kanhaiya? Rahul? Naidu? Pawar?

They all are baying for Modi’s blood (not in literal sense), they grill him now and then. What we saw among members of the Opposition was sheer arrogance. The only thing they have to say- remove Modi but don’t know why. Have they ever suggested any single solution to the problem? Have they ever suggested what steps will they take to solve the problems? What is their vision? What is their method?

In last Four and half years we have seen India transforming at rate which never happened before. All the central govt schemes have strengthened the weaker, poor and underprivileged sections of our societies. Happy to see every human being is respected equally and is being taken care of Ayushman Bharat beneficiary leads us to more healthy, more stronger and more developed Nation.

Reservations, Politics and Propaganda

If the decision in Keshavananda Bharati helped to preserve the unity and integrity of India, the decision of the SC in Indra Sawhney v. UOI popularly called the Mandal case- polarised Indian society by upholding reservations that are almost exclusively based on caste. In other way this judgment legitimized Cased-Based Reservations in India.

After this art. 15 (4) was added in the constitution through the constitutional amendment which authorized the State to make special provisions for the advancment of ‘socially and educationally backward classes’ and court also held that caste could not be the sole reason for determining backward classes. While the exact percentage may vary, it could not cross the 50% limit, said SC.

Furthermore, all the reports starting with Kaka Kalelkar Commission to Mandal Commission were flawed. They were not well researched at all as Indira Gandhi never implemented this report, although it was tabled in Parliament first in 1982. She fully knew its defects and disastrous long term consequences of pure caste-based reservation. Even Rajiv Gandhi too never implemented it. It was VP Singh, to save his personal political fortune, resurrected the report and, by announcing a 27% reservation for OBCs, altered the political landscape of the country forever.

Palkhivala famously once wrote after the Indra Sawhney judgment: ‘I am sure V.P. Singh was sincere when he said that after the SC judgment in the Mandal case he could die in peace. But his policy has ensured that the nation will not live in peace…’

*Present Scenario*
Firstly, this is a very bold step by Modi and most importantly he has reflected his political will by proposing this bill. This Bill will easily pass the judicial scrutiny and 50% reservation cap since this is an economic based reservation which is done through a constitutional amendment by adding clause 6 in art. 15 and 16. So Indra Sawhney judgment is irrelevant in this case. Also this need not to be ratified by the state assemblies unlike other constitutional amendments because it is mentioned in the constitution that amendment of part 3 need not to be ratified by the states.

But I feel this is unconstitutional and undemocratic move the reason being simply that proposal of bill when only 5 odd months are left for the General Elections and there is a convention that any big announcements must not be done in the last session of Parliament when the LS elections are about to occur and therefore it is the rule that govt. shall bring Interim Budget and not the Union Budget in the last year of its tenure. (It is a convention not obligation that govt. brings Interim Budged and not the full fledge budget in its last year so that they may not polarize the people.) This is the jurisprudence behind this convention so that the govt. do not polarise the people by virtue of its office in Parliament and the same applies here but that convention has been broken by this govt. after this act.

Furthermore, the intention of the govt. can’t be questioned as many of us are saying that this is mere jumla for taking votes because had their intention been to just use this bill as “jumla”, they could have added this into the 9th schedule which the court would have overruled on the basis of Basic Structure Doctrine or could have given the notification as Congress did in 2014 with Jats reservation but they didn’t do this rather they brought a costitutional amendment and offered a proposal which opp. could not deny which shows their seriousness about the issue.

Now, the political propaganda behind this is to regain those NOTA votes due to which they lost in MP as upper castes were not happy with BJP after that SC/ST atrocities row.

Lastly, as some people are saying that since there are no jobs then what will this reservation do, 10% of 0 still remains 0 is another issue.

Why Congress must work for the victory of Narendra Modi led BJP in 2019 general election

Oomen Chandy, the former Chief Minister of Kerala and the poll in-charge of Andhra Pradesh has saved the congress party and its great dynast from yet another hall of shame and disgrace from TDP. During the united opposition grand show in Delhi, Sonia Gandhi posed a fantastic photo-shoot with Mayawati in which Sonia was seen leaning onto the shoulder of Mayawati of BSP. That photo-shoot was well circulated to prove the closeness of Mayawati and Sonia.

In politics no one is close and no one is too far away, no one is blood relative or untouchable and that loud truth Mayawati has proved. The SP and BSP have formed an alliance and has given a magnanimous allowance to the congress that they would not contest the two constituencies held by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Except the two seats, congress was virtually shown the door out from UP.

Recently TMC Chief Mamta Banarjee has called for a mega rally of united opposition parties in West Bengal and surprisingly the DMK that wanted Rahul Gandhi to lead the opposition parties as its Prime Minister face was silent about its wish in the mega rally of TMC in West Bengal.

TMC, BSP and SP wanted the opposition alliance with least role for congress. On the other side, TRC and BJD want an opposition alliance without congress. TDP recently developed a sudden love-fever for congress party is now totally clueless and worried about the possible alliance of TRC and YSR congress and wants to dumb congress as TDP has realised after the defeat in Telengana that the love of TDP with congress is against the sentiments of the founder of TDP – NT Rama Rao.

Congress would have sensed its neglect and political isolation by most of the regional parties. If TDP announces its intentions to go solo without congress it would have been like rubbing salt onto the wound which congress wants to avoid at any cost. Instead of TDP discarding the congress as unwanted, congress has gracefully announced that it would contest the election alone in Andhra Pradesh. In fact Ooman Chandy has saved congress from another hall of shame and disgrace.

Need of the day for the congress is not about opposing BJP or PM Modi but congress must severely and brutally oppose all the regional parties and only by defeating and eliminating the regional parties, Congress can re-claim its national identity.

If Congress fell into the trap of regional parties and strengthen the regional parties just to oppose Narendra Modi, Congress is doing nothing but destroying itself and digging own graveyard.

Need of the hour for the congress is to regain its lost ground and re-establish its national identity. Congress without mincing its words must tell people of India that it would oppose all regional parties because regional parties forming a government at the centre will prove disaster to our nation and such government will not be stable. Therefore congress must tell affront that it will not support the regional parties forming a government at centre in 2019 and must shatter the greed, dream and ambition of the regional parties to form Mahagathbandhan to capture power. In short term, such repose may not give great political dividends to congress but in long run, congress can regain its lost identity.

Interest of the nation, congress should put first. By way of opposing BJP or Narendra Modi, Congress should not dig its own graveyard and strengthen the regional parties. If congress allows Modi to come to power by defeating regional parties, India is going to benefit and every Indians are going to prosper which congress must feel happy about and India also going to be free of corruption if Narendra Modi continues as Prime Minister in 2019.

Some years later, if congress is lucky, it can form government and naturally the congress will not have much challenge to deal as the Prime Minister Narendra Modiji would have made India the best country, by the time.

Congress must play positive politics and politics of nation building and not digging own graveyard by supporting the regional parties.

United India, one India, one election, one tax and one cultural identity – Hinduism should be the agenda congress must support.

If Narendra Modi wins 2019, congress will be the major beneficiary and not the regional parties and this loud truth congress must recognize and respect.

India and West Bengal must celebrate the Bhart Ratna award to Pranab Mukherjee

0

West Bengal has gifted several great, outstanding, exemplary leaders to India towards spiritual Hindu renaissance, literature, cine industry, science and finally to Indian politics. Pranab Mukherjee the former President of India is one of the rarest leaders of India in the recent decade.

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Subhash Chandra Bose, JC Bose are some of the leading names of West Bengal. Narendra Modi, ever since he came to power started to rekindle our present generation with the memories and contributions of Netaji Bose, Vivekananda and other great leaders and freedom fighters. The party of dynast has carefully made the Indian history to revolve around one family.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only fond of great leaders of our ancient India but also seems to have special affection for people of West Bengal and North East. Many leaders of West Bengal had reformed India and made India a proud nation in the world arena but in the recent times, due to petty politics and politics of violence, West Bengal is moving behind times and begging for a great leader to lead the state.

Pranab Mukherjee is a great visionary, a leader with high integrity. Many political leaders even when they have to quit politics to occupy apolitical offices like Governor, Vice President, President etc., still had kept their party politics secretly in some corner of the heart and had displayed also and the best examples being Buta Sing and HR Bhardwaj of congress party.

In the great past, none of the leaders had ever displayed such party affiliations when they had to be apolitical as most of the leaders of post-independence era were true statesmen.

But in the recent times the politics of dynasty has disfigured India, its history, integrity, reputation and has affected the day to day life of even the last man in the village. India must be freed from the politics of dynasty and politics of regionalism and violence. West Bengal certainly needs the leadership of PM Modi.

Pranab Mukherjee stood completely apolitical when had to quit party politics to assume the office of President of India. Because of his commitment to India, vision and true statesmanship, he moved away from party politics and therefore he could not be dragged by the political party when he was in the office or after his term was over.

The Bharat Ratna awarded to Pranab Mukherjee by Narendra Modi’s Government shows the trueness of PM Modi towards India and his commitment to respect every statesman who had made yeomen contributions to our nation. Pranab Mukherjee always stood for values and Indian heritage and the cultural identity of our nation. Only because of his impartial and unbiased character, he agreed to attend the event organized by RSS which his parent party before he quit politics persuaded him to refrain from.

People of West Bengal and India are certainly proud of Pranab Mukherjee and the responsible and duty bound gesture of Modi Government to make Pranab Mukherjee the real Ratna of Bharat.

Narendra Modi is one of the outstanding Prime Ministers of India to put the agenda of the nation first than party politics. While recognizing the statesmanship of several leaders and eminent personalities, he has always acted in true spirit and has never attached any politics or pettiness like the party of several dynasts has done in the past.

PM Narendra Modi is not only incorruptible in financial terms but in character and values, he is unbending, immaculate and always want development and sab ka vikas.

On the day of January 26, 2019 when our nation celebrate 70th Republic day with Bharat Ratna – Pranab Mukherjee and all other awardees, India also salute the greatest leader of our times, Shri Narendra Modi for ruling India since 2014 without any corruption charges and politics of nepotism.

All those leaders who paid their life for the India’s independence will shower their praises upon PM Modi for making India proud, delighted and memorable today and would thank all Indian voters for making such day happen by electing Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India in 2014.  Hope India will continue its march towards development and sab ka vikas with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India in 2019 and beyond.
