Modi budget 2019- Gastronomic delight to poor, gastritis to dynastic politics

0

The budget of Narendra Modi govt. for 2019-2020 has come as gastronomic delight to all poor people in India. A very responsible budget with several balanced measures for farmers and unorganized working class, it has been introduced for the first time in India. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has shown absolute economic maturity and prudence to manage the fiscal deficit. The poor people, farmers, middle income group, unorganized workers…… all sections of people living with bare minimum income are well taken care of by the budget. In a sense, this govt. has fulfilled the mission of sab ka sath sab ka vikas.

People of India are searching millions of ways and means to express their sincere gratitude to PM Modi for making India a great place to live, delivered corruption free governance for the first time since independence, focused predominantly on development and for sab ka vikas.

The exemplary governance of th Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rattled the foundation of the corrupt-dynastic political establishments and that is why all the corrupt, dynastic political parties want to defeat the BJP in order to establish the rule of corruption, lawless ness and nepotism in India.

Bhishma, after Mahabharata war, was lying on bed of arrows waiting for Uttarayana to come to liberate himself from the world. Yudishitira, the eldest Pandava brother and the king to get crowned went to Bhishma and asked the following doubts such as who can offer real refuge to all in the world, who is the greatest lord of the world, whom should be eulogised for prosperity and what is the greatest dharma.

To the above questions, Bhishma gave his reply through the following shloka

“kimekam daivatam loke kim vāpyekam parāyaṇam
stuvantaḥ kam kamarcantaḥ prāpnuyurmānavāḥ śubham
ko dharmaḥ sarva dharmāṇām bhavataḥ paramo mataḥ
kim japan mucyate jantuḥ janmasamsārabandhanāt
” – Vishnu Sahasranama

According to Bhisma, that Lord Vishnu is the ultimate refuge of the world, protector and saviour and therefore people must worship Lord Vishnu.  From the days of Mahabharat to today, nothing much has changed in real sense.

Since independence India is being ruled sorry ruined by congress party and has done little to poor people, farmers and unorganized workers. Similarly in health care sector, congress has done nothing but mere lip service to poor people. But PM Modi has transformed India.

In the present budget of 2019-2020 has ensured sab ka vikas and addressed agrarian crisis, concerns of poor people and also ensured the middle income people tax exemption.

Many people have the doubt that who should be voted to power in 2019. The question people rise because they want to know who would really foster development of India and ensure governance free of corruption. The answer is simple, Narendra Modi led BJP alone can save India.

The Tukde Tukde gangs are rallying together to form a government of instability, corruption and nepotism just to promote the dynastic politics. All those Tukde Tukde gangs are wondering why PM Modi has announced all those benefits only now just months before election and not in the past. The question is quite valid and therefore need a valid answer. He is not a person who promise and then forget. PM Modi will promise only what he can do.

PM Modi was focusing on improving the Indian economy since 2014 and was balancing the fiscal deficit. Once he gained confidence he is doing the right thing for the poor people, farmers and unorganized working class.

Narendra Modi is not a politician who works for power and money but work tirelessly to develop India and achieve sab ka vikas. He in a true sense is an avatar, born in poor family with humble beginning to save India from the divisive and destructive politics of dynastic culture, corruption and nepotism.

2019 election is not just an election where different political parties are going to compete to come to power. 2019 election is between truth verus lies, merit versus dynasty and finally an honest PM versus corrupt Netas.

India need development and sab ka vikas and India needs Narendra Modi as its Prime Minister in 2019 and beyond. Need of the hour is unconditional love and sense of responsibility for India to elect Narendra Modi led BJP again with massive majority.

Despite the negativity of opposition, the perfect budget makes it way into the hearts of people and emerges as a winner

“Interim Budget is just the trailer of the Budget for New India post elections.”

– Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

One thing is clear from the budget – You should never doubt the intelligence of Modi and Shah and you should never ever doubt the competency of their government.

They don’t act like Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government where the leader, Atal ji, was highly ethical and moral and could not understand how to deal with fake lies and propaganda politics of Gandhi Parivar.

There is no doubt that the coffin scam of 2003 which later proved not to be a scam by CBI court in 2013 was propaganda on which the success of Congress relied at 2004.

Modi once said in one of his Parliament speeches that one could doubt anything about him but one shouldn’t ever doubt his political acumen.

He was right.

More than being honest he knows how to run the government and how to answer opposition. If being honest led you to lose elections then in my opinion that honesty is not equivalent to intelligence.

The difference between Modi and Atal ji is the same difference that was between Master Dinanath Chauhan and Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the film “Agneepath”. Both were good people and while one didn’t know how to handle sinister, the other knows how to answer the antagonist in his own language.

I am a massive right winger, a BJP supporter and a big fan of Modi but the recent happenings over past few months had scared me like anything; like overstretching of the Rafale case for which there is no proof of any ill-doing by the government. Rahul Gandhi here is trying to do a Coffin Scam repeat but I am pretty sure the public has moved over that kind of dirty tricks in politics. Then the inclusion of the Indira Gandhi look-alike Priyanka Gandhi, who has no resume and merits when it comes to politics but is expected to win the seats at Lok Sabha elections. She has never done anything for anyone in her constituency. I think she is one of a kind Politician in the entire world who had won the vote by just showing her face. However, this time I believe the voters are more intelligent than that and know whom to vote and whom not to vote. The maha-gatha-bandhan was again an obstacle for the country’s progress where we saw old enemies like Akhilesh and Mayawati coming together to defeat the greatest thing ever happened to our country.

But somehow deep down I knew that Modi must be having something in his arsenal which he would only fire when the time is right.

There are few cardinal rules in the court of law and also in the game of poker and they apply well in politics. You don’t reveal your cards too soon. Let the opponent get happy first because a happy opponent is more prone to make mistakes. For an amateur, the smaller short-term achievements are a source of happiness but a true player knows when to open his final cards. The trump cards are always saved for the last. Something that Atalji didn’t know but Modi knows very well. That is why he said after the budget presentation that it is just a trailer.

We are in the fifth year of Modi government and the country is doing extremely well but wait, there is more for you. Budget, I believe is just the beginning. There is an agenda of ram mandir construction as well which is currently the most popular agenda and they are going to score a point over there as well.

Congress had their chance. They could have achieved so much in their time but they didn’t because they believed that they were invincible and somehow time had also always favoured them.

The budget today talks about the poor people, the middle class, the lower middle class, the film industry, the cottage industry, the start-ups, the small business owners and much more. It targets everyone they haven’t targeted before and now the opposition has nothing to talk about because that was the agenda they thought they would use to target the current government. Modi took away their agendas and nothing could anger them more.

Every argument I read was as baseless and meaningless as it could be and it felt heartwarming to see that none had a good argument against the great budget that Piyush Goyal ably presented.

For Yashwant Sinha, it was a matter of constitution. He said that it was unconstitutional to present a complete budget as an interim budget but when asked what he liked and disliked about the budget, he had no answer. He couldn’t approve it because his ego won’t allow it and he couldn’t disapprove it because he didn’t have the right arguments. The budget was mostly devoid of any ulterior motives. Large chunks of money are allotted to the defence, railways and health care, talking against which could bring an ire of the public.

Congress under the muddied leadership of Rahul Gandhi targeted the yearly money of 6000 Rs. allotted to farmers having less than 2 hectares of land. It was a childish comment and was heavily trolled for its obvious logic. I don’t know how suddenly congress twitter portal has started showing off their mathematical skills in every tweet. Putting numbers everywhere isn’t a sign that it is a factual truth.

Chidambaram had another agenda and he wrote an entire open letter in Twitter complaining that budget speech was divided into Hindi and English so many people didn’t understand it. The lack of valid and powerful arguments was rampant today in opposition.

Mirror Now anchor Faye D’Souza was talked why Mr. Goyal is not presenting the budget in a language other than Hindi and faced a backlash later. She deleted her tweet. NDTV anchors, Nidhi Razdan wrote that the budget plans will be implemented only in July when the full-length budget will be presented in the main session post elections. Later she had to issue a corrigendum without apologizing that the budget will be implemented from April 1 and not after July budget session.

My friends who are on social media called me to call me ignorant after I posted few posts in praise of the budget. They argued that I do not understand the evil motives of BJP behind this budget and when I asked them whether they have seen the budget, the answer was yes, but they have only seen glimpses of it. Well, I have been sitting on my laptop from 11 o’clock to see the budget session live and later research more on it for another 3 hours. There hasn’t been a single con that I could infer about the budget and they can’t argue with me about a topic they didn’t invest some time to know more about it. It was like they were criticizing it for the sake of criticising it.

Modi knew from the beginning that the budget was a masterstroke and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. If you had seen him thumping table loudly with a broad smile on his face, you would know how sure he was of the impact this budget was going to have on the opposition.

The biggest highlight came at the end. It was the tax rebate on people having income less than or equal to 5 Lakh. It was the climax of the budget session.

One of my friends commented on my facebook post about the budget that the people with more than 5 lakh of income still have to pay tax. I replied, “Were they not paying earlier”. Instead of being happy that people of a certain category got tax rebate they are trying to divert the topic to the people who didn’t get the tax cut. Well, they didn’t get a tax cut because they didn’t need it, as of now. My friend had no idea who many people will be benefited from this one single fiscal decision. Lots of small business owners, startups can now start their own business and does not have to worry about tax till they become profitable. The lower middle class does not have to pay taxes and they will be motivated to invest their money in provident funds, gratuity funds and insurance which will only benefit them in the future.

No matter what naysayers will say, the damage has been done. The so-called political aficionados must be sitting at their offices right now brooding over how to counter this masterstroke by Modi. He even made tough to please Film Industry happy which is mostly left inclined. When earlier it took several windows running to get all certificates for a film, now it will be just one window solution. Apart from that, the piracy laws are made stricter.

BJP has shown the people that they are pro-people and do not believe in dividing people based on religions rather they would help people based on their economic standards, not their caste, creed or religion.

There is a video of Manmohan Singh viral now on Twitter in which he says that the country belongs to its minorities, mainly Muslims but in the similar context, Goyal said that the country belongs to poor. What a great difference in party ideology.

There is no way BJP juggernaut can be stopped now.

After years I am feeling hopeful for the country and believe that something good is finally happening. I called my friend who was planning to leave the country a few weeks ago. He said he would either go to the US or Canada to start his own business. Since he is in the finance sector, I wanted to know his opinion so I called him. He told me that when initially the government introduced digitization of documents, he criticized them because it would involve too much work involving scanning of bills and other documents. But now he says that he has realized the importance of it. The records can be easily maintained online and processing can be really fast due to which, as promised by the government, the returns will be credited back to accounts in less than 24 hours after filing. By the end of the conversation, he told me that this time his vote is definitely going for Modi. As of now, he has now chucked the idea of leaving the country and has decided to start his business here only as the laws and privileges for MSME (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) has increased tremendously. The loans are easily available at a lower rate of interest and the ease of starting your own company was never better.

If this was a Hindi film, I would say that Modi has taken the revenge of humiliation that Atalji suffered in 2004  when his highly competent government fell down owing to fake propaganda, dirty and dynasty politics.

Hindus under siege

0

Supreme Court Bench led by  Rohington Nariman in its wisdom has asked for a Constitution Bench on a PIL on the issue of age old prayers being held in the numerous Kendriya Vidhyalayas across the country for more than 50 years. The prayer, “ॐ अस्तो मा सद्गमय…” has come under the scrutiny after someone filed a PIL calling this prayer a violation of the Secular principles laid down by the Constitution.

This is not one off judgement which rankles the Hindus but is seen as a series concerted efforts by various players to dilute the core of the Indian Nation. The core of Indian Nation resides in the Ancient heritage, in its culture, its customs, its traditions, its way of life as ordained by the bond of Sanatan Dharma, which has sustained the nation for Millenniums. The degradation of Hindu and Hinduism coincided with the Independence when ancient Bharat was divided into two by the British as a parting gift to the Two People recognised by their Faith, ie., Hindus and Muslims.

Muslim leadership in years preceding the independence has vociferously advocated for a separate home land for Muslims as they believed that Hindus and Muslims cannot live together, as they were Two Different People. Muslims were rewarded with Pakistan as the new home while the founding fathers of India post Partition without taking the will of the People, declared Secularism as the founding principle of the new Indian Nation. In fact, any referendum was assiduously avoided by the Congress which though had failed to stop the partition was still handed over the power the departing British. It is a well known fact that if the then interim government of Nehru had proposed referendum, the people would have gone for a Hindu Rashtra, a Theological State as the principle of foundation of the new India.

The first assault on Hinduism was the rejection of Vande Matram as the national anthem as it according to some was communal in its tone and tenor, it repudiated the secular ethos of the new India. Nehru tried to maintain a balance by declaring it as National Song and Jan Gan Man as the National Anthem. Interestingly, Jan Gan Man was composed by Gurudev in commemoration of the visit of the British Monarch to India. But, since the Muslims in the constituent assembly had opposed, our Secularism prevailed and we adopted Jan Gan Man, a song of slavery. The Constitution in its Directive Principles has stated Cow Protection and to stop killing of Cow, however, even after 70 years of independence and 68 years after India was declared a Republic, we still haven’t been able to put a complete ban on Cow Slaughter in the country.

The firing on protesting Sadhus led by Karpatri Ji Maharaj on the issue of Ban on Cow Slaughter by Indira was telling the majority Hindus that their feelings are subservient to the sentiments of the minorities. Interestingly, the top Court has very sedulously avoided any issue which has the potential to upset the sentiments of the minorities, Muslims or Christians but has absolutely no compunction in entering the religious domain of Hindus. It has gained prominence in recent years in general and ever since Modi government, a supposedly Hindu Nationalist government was sworn in particular.

SC has involved itself in most frivolous PILs which have been instituted by partisan political players, by certain NGOs who profess to believe in equality, in Secularism, are nothing more than malcontents who have been marginalised by the present dispensation. The fat cheques have stopped, the free squatting on prime properties in the capital has been stopped, this was the prime mover of the Award Vapasi stunt at the start of the Modi government term. The Intolerance Debate similarly was a product of manipulations by the same set of malcontents. After trying hard to defame the government, the same set of activists, political players directed their ire towards the most basic and the strongest pillar of India, its Dharma, the Sanatan Sanskriti, Hinduism.

We often see and hear statements by the same set of people, of opening up our Temple donations for state expenditures, of taking control of Temples to fund Secular institutions, there are instances where donations by Hindus have been used for Madarsas and Christian institutions. The concerted campaign of utilising Padmanabha Swami treasure was led by the same set. It didn’t stop at merely using Hindu donations for secular purposes but they started a campaign to demean Hinduism per se by presenting customs and traditions with a jaundiced eye, a deliberate attempt to create a perception that Hinduism and Hindus are dogmatic and orthodox bordering on fundamentalism and radicalism.

Then started the onslaught on our institutions, our religious places, our traditions and our way of life. Partisan elements were propped up by various antiHindu forces to question age old traditions of the Dharma. Shani Shingnapur was the starting point of this inflection, a rag tag group of women wanted to desecrate the shrine against the traditional way of worship. Interestingly, the Courts came to the fore and allowed women to climb up the forbidden shrine. It hurt millions but Court had decided and the government of Devendra Fadnavis did not want to take on the Court, as the court had invoked the issue of gender discrimination. This emboldened the lobby which was instrumental in demeaning Hindus to launch yet another campaign, this time on the holy Sabarimala shrine of Ayyappa. The PIL was filed by a group of people who never wanted to go pay their obeisance to Lord Ayyappa, none of the women who were litigants ever visited Sabarimala but became party to this PIL. The SC in its wisdom opened the hallowed precincts of Lord Ayyappa to everyone, including the age group which was banned by tradition for centuries.

Sabarimala has captured the imagination of the masses in whole of South, it is seen as a an attack on the Faith and the Beliefs of the People. It has the potential to upset the cozy camaraderie between the Lobby and the Higher Judiciary in India. State government wanting to appear more than Secular has unleashed the might of the State to overawe the protesters. Shani Shingnapur, Sabarimala are in fact an extension of the experiments carried out by the SC its judgements on Jallikattu or Sallikattu, an ancient form of Bull Sport and Dahi-Handi. Having measure of the protesting abilities of the Hindus, SC started taking on the more basic customs and traditions of the Hindu Society.

Everything has a past, the rejection of Vande Matram has led to rejection of Bharat Mata, some even find the National Anthem objectionable and it does not involve the Muslims alone, even some Christians do not sing the National Anthem as it is supposedly against their religion. The history of independent India is a story of slow and steady suppression of anything remotely resembling Hinduism, the fact that there are tomes being written on the difference between Hinduism and Hindutva by the so called Secularists is evidence enough of the inherent bias that Secularism suffers from. A nation mauled by centuries of killings, rapes, conversions by Islamic invaders was forced to adopt Secularism as the Guiding Principle of its Founding especially in view of the damning fact that Muslims had by force seceded and formed a country only for the Muslims, where other minorities were less than second class citizens. Founding of the Islamic Republic Of Pakistan had settled the issue with respect to the nature of Indian State but the wishes of its people were suppressed and a Secular Republic was proclaimed in India.

The onslaught is not just institutional or judicial but there is a subterranean and very effective machinery at work which is working overnight to change the character of India, to change the religious demographics, in effect, turning Hindus into a minority in India. Though, many have challenged this theory but statistics offer an interesting insight into the changing demographics, while the Hindu population has decreased by more than 6%  since 1951, there has been consequent increase in population of Muslims to the tune of 5% and Christians 1% but the true picture lies in the term called Psuedo and Crypto Christians, whose population is in range of 2-3%, these are the ones who do not report the change in religious status. The change is clearly visible in the demographics of North Eastern states of Assam, Bengal where the Muslim population is 34% and 30% respectively, in Kerala where Hindus are less than 50%, ironically, Kerala is called God’s Own Land, the famed Parshuram Kshetra.

The Right To Education is yet another discriminatory legislation which raises concerns about the Legality and Constitutionality of the Act which clearly has separate clauses of implementation. SC in its profound wisdom has exempted the minority establishments from the ambit of Act while forcing the Majority established and run institutions to follow the Act in toto. Simply put, Hindu run institutions must provide the mandatory 25% seats to the backward sections of all Faiths but Muslim or Christian Missionary run institutions are exempted from the Act. This has led to a dire situation where the majority Hindus find it almost impossible to effectively run their institutions and schools. While Muslim and Christian schools are thriving for the simple reason that they do not have to share the burden of the Weaker Sections of society. The proliferation of Missionary Schools can be seen even in hitherto unknown areas. The writer has seen it in the educationally backward districts of Jalore – Sirohi of Rajasthan. The poor tribal population is the target of these schools is a forgone conclusion.

In such stifling environment where there is a collaborated effort by various sections of judiciary, media, NGOs, the so called Civil and human rights groups to undermine anything Hindu has gripped the majority Hindus with a siege mentality. Unfortunately, the present government which is in its last few months hasn’t been able to do anything about this situation, especially as it is supposedly a Hindu Nationalist Government!

Against political correctness: Totalitarianism and the left

The arrival of reason

The revolution started in the early 15th century. This was the time when books became available to the hoi polloi. In Europe, the Catholic Church was being criticized and questioned by intellectuals. The Bible became accessible for the common masses to read. Many reformers, such as Menocchio from Italy, formed their own interpretation of the Christian faith that directly contradicted the official doctrine of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church couldn’t tolerate this free flow of ideas. As a reaction, it killed thousands of heretics (including Menocchio) in the inquisition. From 1558, an index of prohibited books was maintained by the Church.

This marked the beginning of the Renaissance, which sought to create a modern civilization by reclaiming and re-interpreting ancient texts.

The Renaissance was followed by the Age of Enlightenment or the Age of Reason. The enlightenment thinkers like Voltaire, Spinoza and Hume were openly critical of the Christian Faith. Unlike the Renaissance, the enlightenment ushered in new forms of living and politics. The ideas of democracy, individual liberty, reason, science and progress were the result of this movement.

The legacy of the enlightenment is the world that we inhabit currently, which is, by all accounts far better than it ever was (Enlightenment Now, Pinker).

The antinomies of reason

Immanuel Kant was one of the earliest philosophers to discard objective truths. He thought that reason had its limits. He sought to demonstrate this in his 1781 book Critique of Pure Reason. He called these antinomies, or, contradictions which necessarily follow from an objective worldview. The four antinomies posed questions about the existence of God, the immortality of soul, the existence of free will and the beginning of the universe. For Kant, both the sides had reasonable argument. The corollary of which meant that the world is essentially subjective.

The existentialist Soren Kierkegaard went a step further. He argued that it was necessary to crucify reason and leap into faith. Friedrich Nietzsche understood the dilemma between reason and faith better than anybody else in the 18th century. Yet, Nietzsche, too was critical of human reason, which he thought was “aimless, fleeting, shadowy and capricious”. Nietzsche is, arguably, the philosopher admired by every postmodernist. The reason being that Nietzsche thought truth was a human construct and therefore, the consequences of a statement matters more than the veracity of it.

The postmodernist movement was formed in the 1950s primarily by four philosophers i.e. Jacques Derrida, Michael Foucault, Richard Rorty and Jean-Francois Lyotard. All four of them saw world through the lens of a poet. The pragmatic postmodernist Richard Rorty saw himself as the “auxiliary to the poet” instead of a physicist(Contingence,Irony and Solidarity). A scientist forms his worldview according to the best available evidence. He/she abandons a theory if its proven to be wrong. The poet, on the other hand, wants to create a world which makes him feel things he wants to feel. Perhaps, the postmodern literary theorist Stanley Fish summarized it best when he said “Deconstruction relieves me of the obligation to be right and demands only that I be interesting”(Is there a text in this class?).

So, if objective truths didn’t matter, what was it really that formed the basis of the postmodernist view of the world? How, in other words, will we make difference between what to believe and what not to believe? The answer came through Michael Foucault. For him, truth was dependent on power. There is battle for truth going on in this world. The battle is not won by those who have the absolute truth but by those who hold the “regime of truth”(Paul Rabinow, The Foucault Reader). In other words, every society has its own regime of truth decided by those in power. The task of professors, then, is not to encourage their students to question, debate and discuss ideas or to find the methodology of truth. As Frank Lentricchia says “The task of professors is to exercise their power for the purpose of social change”(Stephen Hicks, Explaining postmodernism).

The invasion into College Campuses and the contradictions

Marxism and postmodernism have formed an alliance. An unlikely alliance. Marxism, in its essence, makes predictions. It was primarily presented as a social theory which concerned facts. In other words, the early Marxists thought of themselves as social scientists observing the decay of human society into capitalist hellhole. However, every experiment to usher in the communist utopia failed. The prediction that the population of the working class will increase was also proven to be wrong. On the contrary, the population of the rich and the middle class increased while the population of the poor decreased. The jury was out:-Marxism as a theory in social science failed.

Many Marxists recognized this. Among them were Foucault and Derrida. Both of them were sympathetic to the Communist party. Foucault, was a member of the French Communist Party for a brief period. Derrida, for his part, thought that his work was based on the “spirit of Marxism”. The alliance between postmodernism and Marxism was made to save the latter from the dungeons of insignificance. (Note- Many modern Marxists like Richard Wolff and Slavoj Zizek have formed a different approach to Marxism. I have no objection with their interpretation of Marxism).

Postmodernism gained power in the academia in the early 2013. Specific departments like gender studies, fat studies, Queer studies and African American studies etc. were formed in the spirit of postmodern neo-Marxism. The modern postmodernists seek to silence every individual they see as members of the oppressor group. For them, the world is black and white. The Truth is decided by the group who hold the “regimes of power” i.e. White Cis- gendered Men. Everyone else is a victim. If you are a white man holding an opinion that doesn’t align with the postmodern worldview, then your opinions do not count. Only the opinions of the oppressed group i.e. Blacks, Muslims, members of the LGBTQ community and Hispanics matter.

After 2013, there were violent protests against speakers and intellectuals with contrarian opinions. A militant, violent, far-left group called the Antifa was formed to execute this. In February 2017, Antifa members invaded the University of California Campus to protest against gay conservative speaker Milo Yiannopoulos. They smashed windows and pepper sprayed individuals who had come to attend the event(one of the victims was Syrian Muslim). This was only the practical application of the postmodernist theory taken to its extreme.

In order to prove how irrational and unscientific the postmodern studies are, three academicians sent more than 20 papers in a span of a year to well known postmodern journals in 2017–8. To no one’s surprise, 7 of those papers were accepted and one of them was even awarded. The thesis of one of those papers was that men should be trained like dogs in order to prevent rape culture, another paper was an excerpt of Hitler’s Mein Kampf which replaced the word “Jew” with “white male or whiteness”.

A paper accepted by the feminist journal Hypatia suggested that “white males in college shouldn’t be allowed to speak in class (or have their emails answered by the instructor), and, for good measure, be asked to sit in the floor in chains so they can ‘experience reparations.” Here’s what one of the reviewers said about this paper “The paper is well written, accessible and clear, and engages in important scholarship in relevant ways. Given the emphasis on positionality, the argument clearly takes power structures into consideration and emphasizes the voice of marginalized groups”.(Academic Grievance Studies and the corruption of scholarship, Lindsay, Boghossian and Pluckrose)

The Intellectual Dark Web:- An antidote to Chaos

In early 2017, a group of intellectuals started having conversations online about the hysteria on the far left. They started engaging in philosophical debates on the validity of religion and the meaning of life. The striking thing is that these long form discussion that often spanned up to 3 hours were watched by over a million people. The members of the IDW include the Historian of Science and founder of The Skeptics Society Dr. Michael Shermer, clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, neuroscientist Sam Harris, evolutionary biologist Brett Weinstein, Evolutionary psychologist Steven Pinker, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, talk show host Dave Rubin, neo conservative Atheist Douglas Murray, Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz etc. The members of this group have little in common save the willingness to engage in a respectful debate. They are united only by their opposition to identity politics, postmodernism and their support of free speech. The IDW is filling up a necessary void.

The postmodernists have already invaded the college campuses. Their rhetoric resembles the rhetoric of the Soviet Union and the Nazis. They are against freedom and individuality. They seek to create a society where the oppressor becomes the oppressed and the oppressed become the oppressors. Their intention is to transfer power from one group to another. It is necessary for every individual who loves freedom to stand up against them.

A necessary element of free society is freedom of speech, respect for the value of the individual, and the importance of science and reason. Postmodernism seeks to eradicate all of it. The Philosopher John Gray thinks “we live in the dim ruins of enlightenment”. We must re-awaken the enlightenment ideas in order to create a just and free society.

Sorry, Indian Army – We took long to recognise your sacrifices & patience

The Traitors Within
After independence, on Oct 1947, local tribes backed by Pakistan, launched an attack onto Indian soil.

Before the attack, Lt. Col. Narain was warned by the intelligence to replace the core guards with Dogra‘s in Poonch region because certain category of men within the army would support the enemy but the intelligence report was rejected, for which heavy price was paid – on the night of 22nd October 1947, Lt. Col. Narain was brutally murdered along with all the sleeping Dogra‘s of the J&K Infantry, the incoming tribesmen created havoc by looting and raping through the towns.
Uri, Poonch, Mipur, Muzaffarabad and Jhanger went into enemy hands followed by Baramula, Kargil and Gilgit.

The main reason behind their success was because locals and some within the army unit, in the name of “Moral War”, switched side to support the incoming enemy. Many towns were said to be provoked by Sheikh Abdullah. He was jailed by Raja Hari Singh for his role in “Quit Kashmir Movement”, the movement which was supported by many within Indian National Congress.

Indian Army’s Counter Attack with a Condition from Nehru
The retreating Indian army had to destroy a bridge to delay the enemy advancement toward Jammu.

Maharaja Hari Singh of J&K wanted the state to join India and asked for support. It was only on 26th October that Mt. Mountbatten mobilised the Indian army and was able to halt further entry of the enemy into the Indian State.

Acceptance of J&K to join India, came with the condition from Nehru, i.e. Sheikh Abdullah should be 1st released from Jail. The reason best known only to Nehru. Several operations took place, few failed due to lack of logistic support and poor support by the Central Government.

During “Operation Bison”, “Operation Duck” & “Operation Easy”, Indian Army recovered town like Baramula, Kargil, Uri, Keran, Skadu & by Nov 1948, the India Army was confident that within days the complete J&K would be back in India.

Nehru knew that India solders would win but still approached UN to intervene for a ceasefire. Nehru betrayed the army & broke the morale of the soldiers by rejecting the request for 2 more extra days. On the 1 Jan 1949 LoC came into effect.

Missed Opportunity by Indira Gandhi & Betrayal of Army’s Success

In the year 1971, India decided to free Bangladesh from the brutality of Pakistan. During the war a fatwa in Pakistan declared that the Bengali ‘freedom fighters’ were Hindus and their women could be taken as ‘booty of war’.

The Sunday Times, London dated 13th June 1971 titled “Genocide” mentions eye witness account that only Hindus were hunted from village to village and door to door. 30 lakh people were killed and approx. 4 lakh women were raped.

Under the guidance of Field Marshal Manekshaw, the army sprang into action and the enemy was completely shattered. Pakistan with the help of US and China wanted UN to intervene but the Indian Army was in no mood to give time to anyone and within days captured all the important post with the well-coordinated 3-sided attack. 93,000 Pakistani soldiers were declared as Prisoners of War (PoW).

The Army & Intelligence officers had put forward a plan to Indira Gandhi that 93,000 PoW to be exchanged with PoK but Indira Gandhi rejected all recommended and sent a begging message though a lady close to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to release Mujibur Rahman, a political leader from Bangladesh, whom Pakistan had captured.

Indira Gandhi not only released PoW but also signed the Shimla Agreement and agreed to unwanted conditions by Bhutto, which changed our stance that was agreed during Tashkent Declaration by Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Mujibur Rahman was released but assassinated in Dhaka. Indira Gandhi achieved nothing. This just proved that she was an inefficient leader with no strategy and vision. Hard work of the Army and Lal Bahadur Shastri was betrayed.

Blunders of poor negotiation by Manmohan Singh

Between 2005 – 2012, Manmohan Singh, had almost agreed to give up majority of Sir Creek to Pakistan, which is a very strategic location for maintaining security and infiltration by terrorists. The area is said to have oil and gas reserves and changing the boundaries would also affect exploration of natural resources on the land due to cross border firing.

26/11 Mumbai attack in 2008 was the worst that the NSG commandos would have faced. 16 alerts by the intelligent were ignored. It took the central government 5 hrs to put the commandos on the flight due to non-availability of aircraft. Home Minister kept the flight waiting for 1 hour because he wanted to fly with NSG.

After reaching Mumbai, there was no floor plan of Taj, Oberoi-Trident or Nariman House made available to NSG. Further delays were added at the Airport and NSG were taken in BEST buses to the location. It was only in the morning of 29th Nov that the NSG took control of the Taj Lobby.

Big media houses played a devil role, for live telecasting the operation. NONE OF THE MEDIA WAS ASKING THE GOVERNMENT, THE REASONS FOR THE DELAYS.

There was a cold response by the enemies for the request made by the Gov. No army response was considered.

2014 – The Era of New India

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi being introduced to the top Commanders of the army, during Combined Commanders Conference, in New Delhi on October 17, 2014.

Surgical Strike Myanmar: On 4th June 2015, in Meghalaya; 18 Indian soldiers were killed in an ambushed. The enemy was confident that Indian Gov will not do anything, but their assumption was short lived.

On the night of 10th Jun 2015, Indian commandos raided the militant camps of NSCN & KYKL inside Myanmar from Nagaland and Meghalaya. Over 158 militants were eliminated.

Avenging the Uri Attack: On 18th Sep 2016, a group of terrorists peacefully entered URI camp and killed 17 sleeping army personnel. 11 days after the attack, on 29th Sep 2016, special commando unit entered PoK and destroyed 7 terrorist camps. Not a single terrorist was left alive. Burnt and sent to hell.

Majority of the NSG commandos were Dogra, seems they have revenged 1947 killing of the Dogra’s too.

Doklam Standoff: On 16th Jun 2017, China tried to construct road inside the Bhutan territory. India quickly responded on 18 June, and sent 270 Indian troops, with weapons and bulldozers, to stop the Chinese troops from construction. China had under estimated the will power of the new Indian government to help its’ neighbour. The standoff lasted for 2 months 2 weeks & China had to withdraw.

Sir Creek Area: To protect against infiltration activities from the Pakistan side in the Sir Creek area, the Indian Coast Guard deployed two new hovercraft, along with 3 Interceptor Vessels in Dec 2018, which Manmohan Singh wanted to give it away.

Surgical Strike at Sea: As per the reports in Economics Times, in Dec 2018, a ship carrying AK-47, ammunition and grenades was on the way to Bangladesh. Bangladesh intelligence suspected that ISI agents and some members of the Bangladesh Navy and Coast Guard were involved. As some media reports Bangladesh government with support from friendly partners identified the incoming attackers and the ship sunk mid-way. Who is this friendly partner?

SHAME ON THE MSM, ALONG WITH SOME POLITICAL PARTY, HOUNDING THE ARMY FOR PROOF.

Nirmala Sitharaman & Manohar Parrikar have done their best till now. They have given a freehand to the army and in places like Kashmir, terrorism has fallen to lowest & many terrorist have been eliminated.

There is still lot more to be done for our armed forces but as a citizen of India, we should directly help the families of our Martyrs in our capacity via Bharat Ke Veer Mobile Apps.

Why EV Ramasamy Naicker (EVR) supported a Brahmin and defeated Ramalinga Chettiyar

0

Was EVR a firm believer of certain ideology or had he compromised some, at least in part strictly for personal benefits/advantage, requires an impartial analysis. It appears EVR had compromised his ideologies for personal benefits at least at once and that was how he defeated Ramalinga Chettiyar in Erode and worked for BV Narasimha Iyer and made him victorious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5NZ88jcrPM

The reason for EVR to work for Narasimha Iyer was quite surprising. EVR became Chairman of Erod Municipality in 1918. Prior to that EVR brought an advocate to Erode from Pollachi as there was no advocate in Erode and the name of the advocate was Srinivasa Mudalliar. EVR and Srinivasa Mudalliar could not get along well due to some reason.  Subsequently EVR become the chairman of Erode Municipality. However protest grew against him alleging him that he was a thug and his candidature should be cancelled. The person who championed against EVR was Srinivasa Mudaliar.

To plead his innocence and to submit his records EVR met one T. Rajagopalachary the then member of the council, who, according to EVR, greeted EVR with fatherly affection and promised to ensure justice to EVR. Finally EVR won the case.

As a gratitude to the personal help he received, he supported the candidature of Narasimha Iyer, campaigned for Narasimha Iyer and defeated Ramalinga Chettiyar. EVR himself admits that he was although a staunch promoter of anti-Brahmin politics but still supported a Brahmin due to the support and help that he received from T Rajagopalachary, a Brahmin.

The question to be debated is not about the gratitude of EVR but how he had defeated own principles when it became necessary for his own benefit. Should he not have risen above his personal benefits when he wished to interject himself into the public life for social reform and to save the poor and downtrodden people?

Another point of contradiction of EVR was even more shocking. He wanted the term Dravidian to be used for Tamil Nadu instead the term Tamil because, according to him if the term Tamil was used, even the Tamil speaking Brahmins also became the part of such reference whereas when the term Dravidian was used, Brahmins even though they speak Tamil as their mother tongue can be excluded by branding them as Aryan race and will not come under the definition of Dravidian race.

What a bizarre rationale and intellect EVR had displayed and promoted in Tamil Nadu. The above argument of EVR clearly proves one thing that when Dravidian term was used, even Telugu, Kannada and Kerala people also can be defined under Tamil so that the identity of Telugu, Kannada and Malayalee people also can be embraced under Tamil identity through tagging them as Dravidian. Whereas Brahmins, even if they speak Tamil as mother tongue for generations, they can be isolated by branding them as Aryan race. In any case, he had taken the people of Tamil Nadu for a big ride.

By way of opposing and spitting hatred against Brahmins, EVR did nothing worthwhile to the people of Tamil Nadu and if he really wants to do something substantial, he could have done. He was very influential during 1967 when DMK formed the first government in the state. If he was genuine, he could have classified all the Tamil people except Brahmins (as they were already branded as Aryan and persecuted like Jews) as Dravidian race and the reservation within Dravidian race would have been based on economic and educational status and not based on caste. The caste system in Tamil Nadu would have got abolished long before. But EVR was tactfully silent when the Dravidian party used the caste formula to win election.

It is for the people of Tamil Nadu, especially the younger generation to impartially analyse how the state was destroyed through the politics of hatred, anti-God, anti-Hindi, anti-Hindu, anti-Brahmin, anti-North India propaganda by the followers of EVR and Dravidian party.

MGR and Amma brought several reforms to the state initiated by Kamaraj, brought down the hate politics, politics of anti-God, anti-Hindi, anti-Hindu, anti-Brahmin-ism. Tamil Nadu needs the dreams and missions of MGR and Amma with the help and guidance of PM Modi at the centre and not the politics of dynasty either in Tamil Nadu or in the centre.

Hope the agenda of development and sab ka vikas of PM Narendra Modi will win in Tamil Nadu to complete all the unfulfilled promises and dreams of MGR and Amma.

Cross pathy, missing roots of AYUSH for mind healing and growing non communicable diseases

0

The recent WHO report states that the prevalence of various non-communicable diseases (NCD) have raised significantly in the world and management of NCD has become the major medical challenge both to the developed and developing world. The patients who suffer from NCD are also susceptible to various infectious diseases therefore no country can afford to take a casual view on the management of NCD. One of the important aspects of managing NCD is mind healing, wellness centric therapy and paramedical services to improve the quality of life. India is uniquely positioned in managing NCD when compared to other countries because of AYUSH, the traditional, faith based healing practice that exists in our society and also due to the availability of close to 8 lakh AYUSH vaidyas (Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, Yoga, Naturotherapy) etc., to offer various AYUSH paramedical healing therapies.

The fundamental treatment approach of Siddha and Ayurveda system of healing practice are mind healing, imparting moral strength, bringing self-discipline, diet discipline and divine faith. Besides all the above AYUSH also offers several recipes for paramedical and placebo benefits. Giving hope to the hopeless is the theme of AYUSH.

AYUSH vaidyas are taught well in Tridosha principle and diagnosis of patients through touch and observation than stethoscope, BP apparatus or CT scan, X ray etc. Just with touch several Siddha vaidya claims that they can diagnose the underlying health imbalance of the patient and also know how to correct such imbalances through certain paramedical practices.

Considering the increasing proportion of NCD patients in India, the service of AYUSH vaidya to offer various paramedical therapies such as massage, YOGA etc., along with mind healing must be augmented. Quality of life improvement to NCD patients must be given utmost thrust.

But unfortunately many AYUSH vaiydas in private practice have demoralized the greatness of AYUSH by engaging in cross pathy and allopathic practice. The credence of Siddha system has been systematically destroyed by rampant cross pathy by several institutionally qualified Siddha vaidyas in private practice. The institutions like CCRS, NIS etc., must warrant the Ministry of AYUSH and Government of Tamil Nadu to take stringent legal action against all those Siddha vaidyas in private practice who are engaged in cross pathy as cross pathy not only destroy the credibility of Siddha system but also the rural health care delivery by causing medication health fraud. Such situation unnecessarily earns quackery science tag to Siddha system.

AYUSH must focus on health and wellness than treating diseases. Diagnosis and treatment of diseases must be left to allopathic system and AYUSH vaidyas must take over the paramedical therapy, mind healing, spiritual healing and other allied services.

The NCD patients always love have patient audience from the healers to narrate all their personal problems and AYUSH vaidyas are well trained for elaborate conversation with the patient. Further AYUSH vaidyas are the best suited for the above task because they alone know about health, wellness, different Tridosha prakriti of patient, importance of God in mind healing, die dos and don’ts etc. Through such long conversation, AYUSH vaidyas also can popularize the system.

Only if cross pathy by AYUSH vaidyas in private practice is banned and all those vaidyas in private practice who are engaged in cross pathy are booked as quacks, the real paramedical benefit of AYUSH can be reached to people.

In India, 80% the health care to people are attended by private practitioners and therefore AYUSH vaidyas in private practice must be brought back to the paramedical service of AYUSH than allow them to destroy the system through cross pathy.

If proper mind healing and positive treatment is given to NCD patients, the drug dependence can be minimized and thus the quality of life can be promoted significantly.

The Ministry of AYUSH must take steps at war footing to promote the role of AYUSH vaidyas in private practice for paramedical and mind solace for all NCD patients than cause medication health fraud in society through cross pathy and quackery.

Siddha system need urgent resurgence as it is localized in Tamil Nadu. Cross pathy by several Siddha vaidyas in private practice must be prevented and appropriate legal action must be initiated against the offenders. Siddha system has lots of offer to humanity especially to NCD patients.

The plight of Hindu minorities in Pakistan

0

Royal Raghuvanshi blood in troubled waters amidst green flags.

We may not have all the choices in our lives. We have a choice in death, at least in the way our last rites are performed. The way we want them to, the way it has been going on for centuries in our cultures. Gravely, this isn’t the reality for our Hindu counterparts and other minorities in the land birthing terrorism, Pakistan.

Even if you manage to live long as a Hindu or a minority in Osama’s five-star hideout, you won’t have a choice in your death. I will get to the death part later in the article. Let’s have a glimpse of the horrors; one faces for being a minority in a country with the world’s third-largest donkey population.

Only 5% of the population in Pakistan does not follow Islam. These 5% people are termed as minorities here. They include Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Ahmadis and pigs. Earlier these people were known as Dhimmis, and they had to pay extra taxes to be a Dhimmi. Today, the oppressive country doesn’t tax the non-believers of Islam; now the kaafirs pay with their lives.

This China-owned pig of a country is making the minorities pay a considerable amount for their non-belief in their religion of pieces…argh, ‘peace’. Extremists are using all the tricks from the book of bigotry to force their religion across their borders.

Enough of metaphors and quirky lines let’s get to the facts.

In 1992, Babri Masjid was demolished in India, Hindus in Pakistan paid the price for it. Riots were tearing up the country. Oh, wait! Hindus were cut in pieces to protect Islam and dictate power. Geeta was burnt to keep the Quran warm. It didn’t stop there. Hindus were forced to look the other way when Islami extremists were demolishing temples, as they had to save themselves.

Minorities face discrimination on a regular basis. The Dhimmis are at times refused jobs, loans, housing and other necessities simply because of their choice of religious faith. Minorities voluntarily converted to Islam as it allowed them to get Watan Cards and National Identification Cards easily.

The Madrassa Baitul Islam, a Deobandi seminary in Matli, showered these converts with land and money. For example, 428 poor Hindus in Matli were converted between 2009 and 2011 as all their debts were paid off solely on the condition that they converted to Islam.

That was the story of voluntary conversions. Those who still are brave enough not to leave their roots and culture are converted by force. Forced conversions, discrimination, death threats are just the beginning of what the minorities face. Women of Hindu families are kidnapped, forcefully converted and married to Muslims.

According to the National Commission of Justice and Peace and the Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC), around 1000 Christian and Hindu minority women are converted to Islam and then forcibly married off to their abductors or rapists annually. These are the official records, the real numbers, of course, are much bigger than these.

This very fact sends tremors in my hands and shakes me up in entirety. The preachers of this religion of peace don’t stop here. The extremists have been known to demolish temples across the country. According to the website of Pakistan Defence, out of 428 minorities’ places of worship in Pakistan, 408 have been converted into toy stores, restaurants, government offices and schools after 1990. That is 95% of oppression against free will and the choice to practise one’s religion.

One of the primary reason why the minorities are fleeing from Pakistan is to save themselves and their culture. The people of Porkistan are aggressive with such high volatility in the preaching of Islam. That they don’t even let the minorities perform the last rites of their dead.

According to Hindu mythology, one’s mortal soul is supposed to be burnt after death. So the soul is free to take another birth. Well, if you are in Pakistan good luck doing that.

There are very few crematoriums in the country which allow the burning of the dead. Hindus have to travel all the way down to Sindh to perform the last rites.

Those who can’t afford to do so, have to bury their loved ones. With heavy hearts they burn a coin and place it in the palm of their loved human, hoping that their soul gets redemption. You might think why not just make more crematoriums which allow Hindus to complete the last rites rightfully? Well, the bad news is you can’t. The government of Pakistan doesn’t give permissions to make such crematoriums.

The plight of the minorities in Pakistan is sad, and there is little awareness about it. There is a possibility that the religion of peace will issue a Fatwa for this atheist Indian. As in August 2012, Rimsha Masih, a Christian girl, an illiterate child with mental disabilities was accused of blasphemy for burning pages from a book containing Quranic verses. If they can indict a little kid with mental disabilities for blasphemy, I should probably watch out for myself.

I firmly believe that if one wants to flourish in life, one must be in touch with his roots and culture. The irony is Pakistani Muslims are called Kafaar/Kafir (one who doesn’t believe in Allah) if they go outside their country. The Arabs who are the real Muslims believe that all the ‘Muslims’ from Indian subcontinent only became Muslim due to rigorous conversions by invaders like Babur.

So why impose so many restrictions and inflict so much of pain on a small yet significant 5% of the population? Why not just work to improve and revive the economy?

If an atheist can stand up for the rights of the royal Raghuvanshi blood in the ‘land of peace’, you too can do your bit by being aware of what is happening in the world and maybe try to save your own culture.

Till 2015, I was a Kejriwal supporter and Modi hater but then I noticed who was who when the power was given to them

0

“Mr Roark, we’re alone here. Why don’t you tell me what you think of me? In any words you wish. No one will hear us.”
“But I don’t think of you.”

-Chapter XV, p. 413; Ellsworth Toohey and Howard Roark

I applaud Narendra Modi for seeing what most people couldn’t see. It was that Kejriwal will be irrelevant in a few years.

No matter how much Kejriwal try to act like Toohey, an evil mastermind character from the highly acclaimed novel by Ayn Rand, “The Fountainhead”, to malign the character of Modi, complain about him, tell people that Modi was going to kill everybody including him, Modi, like Roark, doesn’t say a word. He refuses to acknowledge his presence around him. That is how Roark, the hero of “The Fountainhead” treated Toohey who has was trying to destroy him for ages. He refused to acknowledge his presence in his life and didn’t care what he was doing. That was the source of Toohey’s frustration all along.

Toohey knew that Roark was a man of extreme will and a great man and to prove himself worthy all he needed was his attention which Roark refused to give.

The day Modi will say, even in hidden, ambiguous language, anything about Kejriwal he will bring Kejriwal to the centre politics. And that is that Kejriwal wants. He knows that without fighting the bigger player, he cannot become big. His ambition is not to become the CM of a state or change the country anymore, his ambitions are bigger than that. However, in the distant future of nearly twenty years, I am pretty sure, he won’t come any near to it. By that time, if he learns from his mistake, he might have some chance, but not now.

I don’t think Kejriwal was corrupt. Today I think he is but back then he was not. I don’t think he even knew what it was to be to have so much power. As Alvin Toffler would have written about him that he had no idea what the power of finance, force, people and knowledge through that chair will bring him.

Still, I don’t think it is his fault. He has no Godfather in the politics industry and he has neither experience nor any formal education. He is even junior to Rahul Gandhi who has far more experience in his field. Kejriwal is a clueless man who is opposing everything the country offers and presents every problem this country like it is a dire situation. Earlier he counted every corrupt leader of this country has and now he is sitting with all of them. They along with him have one thing lacking, which makes him the worst leader among all the leaders of our times – Vision.

Kejriwal didn’t know politics and its luxuries when he came to power. He accused nearly every other known politician in the country because nearly everyone was corrupt. Even for those who were not corrupt, since the majority was corrupt, it was easy to believe for people that everyone was corrupt. The public was not happy. The truth be told, the public is never happy and they are constantly looking for a change. The change that does not go through them. The corruption of Congress didn’t happen because it is a corrupt party but because we as citizens let that happen. The greed overpowers vision every time and it did with both Congress and AAP.

Kejriwal offered people change. Before Kejriwal, there was no activist who did such dramatics. Initially, when Kejriwal took a U-turn on any of his promises he would blame it on the public because in his mind the faceless, nameless Indian people can be used for anything. The method was successful but soon people started calling his bullshit.

Kejriwal did what most liberals does, they appear to be aggressive, they appear to be emotional, they would state facts about how things are going wrong and what is wrong with the country. The problem is that when someone is shouting about the problems, again and again, people assume that he might also have the solution. They don’t and that is where vision comes in, hence Modi.

The best part of BJP, especially Modi and his speeches was that he was never posting a list of problems. He was telling the problems in the manner that it can be solved. He was always optimistic about India and its people. Atal Bihari Vajpayee did the same. Modi keeps saying to people that if people do well, the country does well. He keeps saying that to make things better everyone has to come together and might face little difficulties. People are ready for that. That kind of optimistic approach can only come from someone who places country above everything.

Till 2015, I was a Kejriwal Supporter and Modi hater but then I saw who was who when the power was given to them. Kejriwal not only disappointed people like me, but he has also created scepticism in the minds of people for any honest man who would fight for the country in the future. No one trusts Dharna Protests anymore. They are reduced to jokes now.

Kejriwal remind me of the tagline from that Usual suspect which I am bending a little to suit his style of politics –

“The greatest trick the devil ever played was to convince the world that was he is not corrupt.”

Kejriwal and other parties played with the one most important aspect of people that political gurus from the advent of human civilization have been teaching everyone – Pathos.

They played with Pathos to get votes and then killed hopes in return. They showed them the other side. The side that was not there. They made them see a world which in the novels is often labelled as Utopia. Utopia is an ideal state where everything works perfectly and smoothly but the world is not an ideal place.

The truth is that no country is ideal and everyday people have to work hard to make it better.

There are things that we as humans want to believe as true because of the convenience of thinking and reject the truth because the truth is harsh.

For example, if I tell you that you should NOT run after your passion as it is the cause of failure of most people, then probably you won’t believe me. But if you read the reports of Dr Cal Newport you will realise that statistically people who spend more time honing their skills in doing what they are doing even though they don’t like doing it, then irrespective of the fact whether they are passionate about it or not, they will become successful. Acclaimed non-fiction writers like Robert Greene, Malcolm Gladwell also mention the same findings in their books.

Similarly, everyone is running after start-ups, but 99% of startups fail because people lose patience after a while and get frustrated looking at the life and luxury of the 1% that got success. If you read theories of Simon Sinek you will realize that according to statistics any startup takes at least 3 years before it finally starts showing profits.

So there is truth and there is a truth that we want to believe and liberals want to believe in the truth that is convenient to them. In the long run that made up truth is what causes the harm to them and those associated with them.

What Kejriwal got was a fluke? He played with the emotions of the people. People needed a leader and he portrayed himself one when deep down he wasn’t capable of being one. Truth be told he wasn’t even expecting to become the CM. He just got lucky.

Psychologically, Kejriwal thinks of himself as saviour and a hero and believes that he is trying to save the world. In his own mind, he justifies every act that he does. To be attacked by others is what keep his desires of being a hero alive. If he is not attacked by anyone, doesn’t get attention, he will do something to attack others, so that when they would attack him back, he could play the victim card and again, play with the pathos of the public.

Kejriwal reminds me of the joker from Dark knight whose sole intention was to create chaos for his personal amusement and had no desire to achieve anything.

Kejriwal lost the respect of many people when he doubted Surgical Attacks. Of all the things the country, why would he choose such a topic? It was a gross misstep from a political point of view.

No one understood that why the government will fake the attacks. Pakistan has been our enemy since 1947 and I am pretty sure no one in the government is friends with Pakistan, a country that lives on alms provided by other countries.

There was no logic or proper reasons behind faking the attacks when we are completely capable of doing the attacks. People attacked him and he stopped making those vlog videos. But since he had already let the cat out of bags and Congress keeps looking for anything to attack Modi, trying to find another coffin scam, they got together to give it more voice.

Kejriwal has no merit of his own. Mahagathbandhan calls him because he is anti-Modi and is very vocal about him. He wouldn’t shy from creating fake allegations to target Modi.

In his recent speech, he said that the Modi and Shah are the biggest criminals and if they keep ruling then there will remain no country.

The problem is that his fierce talk and the situation of dire need that he mentions in his speech is not felt by most. There is no emergency situation that can be seen. The country is working even better than it was before. There can be differences of opinion of people in various subjects on Modi but no one can target Modi of destroying the country.

The worst part of the current politics is that the opposition along with Kejriwal is trying to copy the agendas of BJP instead of having an agenda of their own. Ram Mandir, nationalism, loan waiving, helping poor farmers, reservation to economically backwards are few topics which everyone criticized initially but these agendas are coming again and again in their speeches and now in their manifestos.

People want to live a life where everything is trouble free and they don’t have to work hard to earn more money. Basically, a utopia that I was talking about earlier. The politicians have been playing with this human greed of Utopia since ages and Kejriwal did the same in 2015.

He came like a hero to save the nation from the clutches of a big villain. But for anyone to become a big hero, one needs a greater villain. The greater the villain and more visible, the mightier will be the fight and greater will be the hero.

Kejriwal fought against Congress at that time, not BJP. For him whoever is in power, if they are not him, are corrupt and inefficient. (Here I am not commenting on how corrupt congress or BJP are, this article is about how corrupt, morally corrupt, Kejriwal is). And now he is sitting with Congress and fighting BJP. Tomorrow he will join hands with BJP, if congress comes to power.

In a letter to an Anglican bishop, Lord Acton wrote,

“Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

This quote in itself is very important to understand the current condition of Indian Politics. Modi and Kejriwal, both got absolute powers in 2014 and 2015 respectively and look what they did with it. Modi ran the country like an institution where everybody counted and had an opinion, while Kejriwal kept throwing everyone out of his own party one by one.

Today, the people who made AAP are not part of AAP anymore and what can be more ironical than that.

“The man who was fighting against evil, one day comes to know that the evil was inside him.”

Kejriwal sets a bad example of a politician and I believe that there is no way he is coming back to Delhi in 2020.

Kejriwal as a man cannot be trusted because he himself doesn’t trust anything he says. There is a difference between an activist and a politician and Kejriwal is the living example of what happens when that boundary is crossed.
