Chandrababu Naidu lies on 2002 Gujarat riots-violates 153-A and 499-500 of IPC

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said on 27 March 2019: “When 2,500 Muslims were killed in Godhra, the TDP was the first party to raise it with Atal Bihari Vajpayee and I was the first to demand the dismissal of the Modi government in Gujarat. That is the reason behind his vengeance over me and my State,” he said.

This is of course, an outrageous lie. In Godhra, 2000 Muslims surrounded the train on both sides and burnt to coal 59 Hindus, including 25 women and 15 children (including babies and toddlers). Even THESE killings were not enough for Chandrababu to even condemn for lip service the act of Muslims of Godhra while talking of the riots. [WARNING: Gruesome Pictures]. 2500 Muslims were not killed in Godhra, instead the Muslims had killed 59 Hindus there. Even after Godhra, 2500 Muslims were by no means killed in the riots, this figure was a hyperbole, exaggeration by Chandrababu Naidu which is blatant violation of 153-A (needlessly infuriating a community) and 499-500 (defamation of a political party and individual leaders like Narendra Modi) by implying that the party and its leader(s) were responsible for 2500 deaths, ignoring the Godhra carnage completely which was the cause of the riots (which were also not one-sided).

As per figures given by the then Union Minister of State for Home Shriprakash Jaiswal, who belongs to the Congress Party, in Parliament on 11 May 2005, 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus were killed in the riots, 2548 people were injured and 223 people were missing. This was in a WRITTEN REPLY to a question asked by a Congress member on the religion wise casualties in Gujarat after Godhra.  Even Indian Muslims’ English newspaper Milli Gazette also reported this, as did the BBC.

The Tribune reported on 30 April 2002 that the death toll crossed the 900 mark on 29 April 2002. The riots had almost ended by that time and maximum 50 more would have been killed by 10 May 2002. And this was 2 months after the real violence of 28 Feb, 1st and 2nd March had ended, most of the bodies of the killings of these days had been found by 30 April. Thus there is no way at all that the toll could be anywhere close to 2,000. The 950-odd toll was exaggerated and inflated to 2000 by the liars some months after the riots.

952 people were killed in the Gujarat riots as per official figures by the time the Army left Ahmedabad on 21 May 2002. After all missing people were declared dead- the toll was revised to 1180 as per The Telegraph.

Actually, the figures given initially said 228 people missing (closely matched by the UPA Government also saying 223 people missing in Parliament on 11 May 2005) and later 101 people were found alive, so the final missing people’s figure is 127 only. The official statistics show that 101 people were found alive and 127 people are still missing and hence assumed dead after the 7-year period is over. [This information is official records, and was given to this writer by the Government after he asked for it.] Ex-gratia was paid to 1,169 people by the Gujarat Government. The UPA Government also paid extra compensation to Gujarat riot victims in May 2008. Even this UPA Government said ex-gratia was paid to 1169 people which shows that the death toll is less than or equal to 1169 since it is absolutely impossible that the UPA Government will fail to give ex-gratia to families of people killed in the riots when the riots have been politicized so much.

(And if the UPA government which was a staunch opponent of Narendra Modi claims that any more than 1169 people were killed in the riots, then it itself would be admitting that it did not pay compensation to some killed people’s families!) UPA’s figures in Parliament would amount to 1171 deaths- 790 Muslims, 254 Hindus and 127 missing people (after many missing were found alive), 790+254+127= 1171. This closely matches the ex-gratia figure of 1169, paid by both the Gujarat and the UPA Government.

Chandrababu Naidu ignored totally the killings of Hindus not only in Godhra but even after Godhra and lied that 2500 Muslims were killed as if not a single Hindu was killed. He of course, is not the first one to do so, nor will he be the last one. For example, Teesta Setalvad also lied that 2,500 Muslims were killed (as if not a single Hindu was killed) in one of her articles titled “What ails Gujarat” published in CPI(M) party weekly Peoples Democracy in its issue of 16 July 2006. And Tehelka reported in 2007 after its sting operation that 2,500 Muslims were killed in the first 3 days! This would imply that many more were killed in the next days of riots! But Chandrababu Naidu is the Chief Minister of a state, unlike Teesta Setalvad and Tehelka.

The UPA Government said that 254 Hindus were killed after Godhra. Naturally, the question arises, who killed these 254 Hindus in Gujarat? Around 84 Hindus were killed in police firing, the rest mostly in violence by Muslims. As per the police records, some 157 riots in Gujarat after 3rd March, 2002 were started by Muslims. When this writer talked to some people who call themselves secularists, on the attacks by Muslims on Hindus and Dalits in particular, he got interesting answers. In Muslim-dominated areas of Ahmedabad and other places, the Hindus living in minority (often microscopic minority), many of whom were Dalits, suffered horribly, were thrown out of their homes, attacked and killed by Muslims. Not only that, even in other areas like Sindhi market and Bhanderi Pole areas of Ahmedabad the Muslims attacked the Hindus. The Muslim backlash started on 1 March 2002, one day after 28 February when the Hindus attacked Muslims in Ahmedabad’s Naroda Patiya, Gulbarga Society and other areas. The people calling themselves as secularists, after listening to these facts of Muslim attacks said to me: “It is natural and inevitable. If Hindus attack and kill them in Naroda Patiya, they will obviously attack, kill, render homeless the Hindus living in minority in their dominated areas in the next days”. This response has 2 important implications:

1- When Muslims attack Hindus, they think it is ‘natural’ and ‘inevitable’ because of attacks by Hindus on 28 Feb in Naroda Patiya. But the Naroda Patiya attacks were not ‘inevitable’ and ‘natural’ because of Godhra killings of Hindus!

2- They know and admit that Muslims attacked Hindus even after Godhra, when they say its ‘natural’ and ‘inevitable’. If they know that its ‘inevitable’ that Muslims will attack Hindus in their areas and also other areas if riots last for weeks, then why do they lie that Muslims were massacred in one-sided attacks ignoring attacks on Hindus, in particular, Dalits?

Godhra happened on 27th February. On 28th  February was retaliation from the Hindus. On 1st March, the second day of the riots, the Muslim counterattack began. The Hindu reported on 2nd  March, 2002:

“But unlike Thursday (i.e. 28th February) when one community was entirely at the receiving end, the minority backlash (on 1st March, Friday) caused further worsening of the situation. Police presence had little impact on the two communities pelting stones at each other in Bapunagar, Gomtipur, Dariapur, Shahpur, Naroda (Muslim concentrated areas) and other areas from where incidents of firing had been reported. But there were no reports of casualty.  Pitched battle was continuing between the two communities late in the evening. The official sources said timely arrival of the police foiled a retaliatory attempt to break into a prominent temple in Jamalpur locality in the walled city.”

As early as 5 March 2002, out of the 98 relief/ refugee camps set up in the state, 85 were for the Muslims and 13 were for the Hindus [Source: Official records]. As on 17 March 2002, as per the report of a newspaper as anti-BJP as The Times of India,more than 10,000 Hindus were rendered homeless in Ahmedabad alone.

  India Today weekly dated 15 April 2002 reported:

“On March 13 (2002), the Supreme Court’s ruling banning any religious activity in Ayodhya proved a psychological setback to the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and its affiliates. It was also the day when some people in the Muslim-dominated walled city of Ahmedabad burst crackers in celebration and unfurled banners saying, “You darkened our skies. We will spill your blood on the streets.” The Hindu zealot had had his fortnight; it was time for his Muslim counterpart to reawaken. The next few days saw mayhem. In Ahmedabad, violence broke out on March 17 when Dalits in the Danilimda area were attacked by Muslims. On March 19, it was Modasa, a town in Sabarkantha district. A police officer’s son was stabbed and two communities went berserk. A local LIC building was attacked during office hours.

The stories only got more macabre. In Himmatnagar, a young man who went to a Muslim-dominated area to do business was found dead, with his eyes gouged out. In Bharuch, the murder of a Muslim youth led to mass violence. Next the Sindhi Market and Bhanderi Pole areas of Ahmedabad, hitherto calm, were attacked by mobs. This phase, really, was one of Muslim mobs attacking Hindus.“

As on 25 April 2002, out of the 1 lakh 40 thousand refugees, some 1 lakh were Muslims and 40 thousand were Hindus. None other than Times Now channel admitted in 2009 quoting from Agencies that 40,000 Hindus were also rendered homeless in the Gujarat riots, i.e. Muslims threw out as many as 40,000 Hindus in Gujarat even after Godhra, just like they did in Kashmir where lakhs of Hindus left the valley.

The Indian Express devoted two full reports exclusively to Hindu victims of Ahmedabad in its reported dated 7th May 2002 and 10th May 2002. These Hindus were not only rendered homeless-they did not even have refugee camps to live in-and hence had to live in temples. Many others were forced to sleep on the streets.

The Hindus also suffered economically. As per the reports of none other than The Times of India, as many as 50 Hindus shops were torched in Revdi Bazaar area of Ahmedabad on 23 March 2002 by Muslims. The financial loss was as much as 15 crore rupees. Many more Hindu shops were looted in the rest of Gujarat too. The Tribune dated 30 April 2002 also reported that 36 Hindu shops were looted on 29 April 2002.

On 30 May, 2002 The Hindu reported: “In a chat with The Hindu, (CPM Politbureau member) Ms Brinda Karat, who was in Bangalore last week, shared a few thoughts on the hurdles in the rehabilitation of people affected by the riots, both Hindus and Muslims…When she did actually see a cheque for Rs. 22,000, it was at the Kankadia camp, which housed Dalits, and Hindus. There, Karat also came across cheques for Rs. 10,000, Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 22,000. “The government seems to be offering some substantial compensation only to the Dalit community,” Ms. Karat observes, emphasising the need to compensate everyone equally.”

None other than Marxist leader Brinda Karat also admitted that Hindus and particularly Dalits were also homeless. The compensation provided by the Government was equal for all, just that she ‘saw’ cheques of different denominations at different relief camps. While forcibly trying to imply that the Gujarat Government was discriminating Hindu and Muslim victims of riots, she admitted that there were Hindus also rendered homeless. Note here also that Dalits and Hindus are not separate, Dalits are Hindus only, but Brinda Karat forcibly tries to separate Dalits from Hindus as if they are different.

Chandrababu Naidu ignores completely the killings of Hindus both in Godhra as well as post-Godhra, and exaggerates the death toll of Muslims.

Chandrababu Naidu said: “I was the first to demand the dismissal of the Modi government in Gujarat. That is the reason behind his vengeance over me and my State.” Though it is a fact that the TDP had demanded Modi’s resignation or dismissal in 2002 at the time of the riots, it is also a fact that it did not withdraw support to the Vajpayee Government at the Centre on that issue. And of course, the TDP allied with BJP knowing that Narendra Modi is its Prime Ministerial candidate in 2014, and was a part of the Modi Government till 2018. In 2002, at least Modi was limited to Gujarat as the Chief Minister with Vajpayee being Prime Minister. But from 2014-18 Modi was the Prime Minister, who TDP supported! Chandrababu now claims to have opposed Narendra Modi for the post of Gujarat Chief Minister after the 2002 riots, which is true, but he conveniently does not explain how he supported Narendra Modi for the post of Prime Minister!

It will be no surprise that the self-proclaimed ‘Fact-checkers’ will not expose this lie of Chandrababu Naidu. Many of these so-called ‘Fact-checkers’ are serial fakers themselves.

Sadhvi Pragya’s utterances in the Indian context

Sadhvi Pragya’s remarks on Hemant Karkare caused a furore in the liberal media on expected lines. Initially, when her selection as a contestant of the BJP from Bhopal seat was declared, the liberal journalists and the Congress party tried in vain to corner the BJP to drop her candidature from the electoral fray on the grounds of terror charges. However, they found that the ‘law of land’ would not bar her on that front they were gunning for. Next alternative line, they chose as a handy tool was: her remarks on Hemant Karkare who was martyred in 26/11 in an almost – a war like-attack by the Pakistani-sponsored terrorists in their mission to bleed India by thousand cuts.

On the contrary to what Pakistan did, Shri Digvijaya Singh, the mascot of Congress’s faux secularism released a book whose title stated: 26/11 was an RSS conspiracy. By releasing the book with the likes of Mahesh Bhatt, he implicitly gave a clean chit to Pakistan. Now, it’s anybody’s guess where his heart lies. Shri Digvijaya Singh was also instrumental in coining the word saffron/ Hindu terror to please his minority vote-bank. So, the BJP had no option but to pit Sadhvi Pragya, a dyed- in-the-wool Hindutva proponent who is ever combative for her ideology.

Sadhvi Pragya is a novice to politics. She has not yet graduated from being an activist of a Hindu organisation to a politician. Her statements may not be politically correct and she may also be unvarnished in representing her side of the story (relating to Hemant Karkare), however, undoubtedly she wanted to vent her agony in public. Had her word of ‘curse’ not been on the Late Police IPS officer Karkare, (who laid his life by instantaneously attacking the terrorists – without even wasting a second to wear a bullet proof jacket to stop the mayhem) it could have been taken lightly as if it was a routine word (from the Indian Hindu- psyche).

As far as Sadhvi is concerned: she narrated how the late police officer, in his interrogation was coercing her to answer his questions on which she had no knowledge. She described how the irritant officer queried her: if not she, who would know the answers? To which she said, “God”. Again the irate officer asked her whether he should go to God to enquire. She said he should, if God ordained so. According to her, the kind of ill-treatment, disdain and unbecoming language and behaviour of that particular police personnel had made her curse him. As a result the nemesis that followed.

Going by her description, one should understand that she was only expressing a view that any normal average Indian expresses in such situations. For, India has a highly hierarchical society wherein the poor, helpless and marginalised that work as domestic workers/ helpers, workers in construction firms, daily wage labourers and so on, are often abused and humiliated by their masters. They usually take that lying low for they have no grievance- redress mechanism. Often, in their helplessness, they curse their masters silently. These curses invariably come out from the weak on the mighty. Sadhvi was one such weak person when imprisoned and cornered by impugned charges. It’s a strange coincidence that her curse and the catastrophe that followed.

Nowhere Sadhvi had said (in the TV clipping) that she was endowed with a supreme power to curse people that would haunt and lead to some kind of denouement. In whole context, one should not forget, that the Late Karkare had a close proximity with Shri Digvijaya Singh (now the electoral rival and staunch opponent of Sadhvi Pragya) and often shared his thoughts with the Congress leader.

Reams and reams of columns appeared in the newspapers from liberal journalists of Barkha Dutt kind on Sadhvi Pragya’s statements as to how bad and disdainful her comments were and some went to the extent of calling the supporters of her to be anti national. However, by proxy, they wanted to help the Congress candidate Digvijaya Singh. For all Liberals if the Congress comes to power, they can have their field-day. In that enthusiasm they are batting. Somehow, they are conveniently obscuring faulty secular credentials of the other person, Shri Singh. Showing one side of the coin has been a habit of all Liberals. Why do they hesitate to question Digvijaya Singh’s busy temple-hopping, performing Poojas and participating in Yagnas in his constituency, Bhopal? Of course, he is personally entitled to do what he wants. However, he never did before, so glaringly in public. How come this new realisation now? To counter the BJP, the Congress needs religion now, otherwise Hindu traditions are something mumbo-jumbo for them. What had the Congress done to promote Hindu culture in their long innings of rule?

Shri Digvijaya Singh has brought Dwarka-Sharda Peeth Sankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati to virtually campaign for him. Look, for a party – the Congress, which says that religion is a personal matter and should only be followed in close-doors and who proudly say that don’t wear their religion on their sleeve etc. now flaunting their allegiance to Hinduism!

Sadhvi Pragya’s statement and assertion on Ayodhya-temple construction may enthuse her cadre who are otherwise beleaguered and demoralised for having no headway on the temple-front, however, she needs to be careful in her utterances here after to win an election, since the election commission took cognisance of the matter to register an FIR on her confession of involvement in demolishing the Babri. She should be mindful that she represents the whole of Bhopal with all communities (when she wins) and the Constitution of India mandates that commitment towards people. Hopefully, the BJP as a responsible party will get her to that end.

According to English dictionary, the lie is defined as “an intentionally false statement”. If we carefully study the public gesture and speeches of Raul Vinci sorry Rahul Gandhi, one thing protrude out firmly is that he utter lies, lies and lies without any licence, gear or break. He often piggyback his political career on lies and appears to believe firmly in lying continuously without any shame or humiliation about how the people around him would view his personality and leadership style when he engages in lying.

Psychologically the liars have been defined as the following

  1. Pathological liar
  2. Compulsive liar
  3. Sociopath liar

Pathological Liar – This group of people lie in response to any stimuli because they constantly practice nothing but lying.  The proper name for such liars is ‘Pseudologia fantastica’.

The pathological liars while lying avoid eye contact and use lying as the best defence mechanism.  They love to create some element of sensation through their lie to escape from bad situation.

Look at Rahul Gandhi from the definition of pathological liar. He never develops eye contact while speaking and often use lie to defend his corrupt history. Whenever any  media person ask tough question about Robert Vadra or National Herald or his British citizenship or about other corrupt deeds of him, he immediately shot back with an incredible lie to escape from the scene. The stunning lie of the dynast would entertain the journalist and hence they bound to skip the main question.

But the interesting point is that Rahul Gandhi is also a compulsive liar. Compulsive liars always spin the lie without any element of truth and bound to trip over own words. Rahul Gandhi appears to suffer from both habitual and narcissistic liar syndrome.

Rahul Gandhi is so profound about his dynasty and so cynical about the humble and poor origin of Narendra Modi. In fact he is so narcissistic about his dynasty, appears to feel he alone have the entitlement to rule India. Therefore he engages in habitual lying. 

The most striking paradox is that Rahul Gandhi is also a sociopath liar. 

Sociopath liars are very dangerous people and are difficult to contain. The sociopath liars lack empathy and do not bother about the negative consequences or harm their lie can do to the society or country.

The lies of Rahul Gandhi about PM Modi reveal more about the personality disorder of Rahul Gandhi than Modi. Not just people of India, entire world believes in the impeccable integrity of Modi, his personal commitment to honesty and straightforwardness, commitment towards developing the country, fight against corruption, nepotism and dynastic politics. Therefore how much ever lies the dynast utters, he is not going to be believed but instead people would watch him more as an entertainer. 

It looks like the congress party purposefully wants to make Rahul Gandhi a big joker so he can be used just to hold the party together and when it comes to run the government, the congress men can steal the show as the dynast is stupid pathological, compulsive, sociopath liar.

Congress can adopt such stand but can India entertain such personality disordered person to lead the country?

Can this stupid pathological, compulsive, sociopath liar be a match for Narendra Modi, the embodiment of honesty, integrity, commitment, patriotism and a leader who carries the agenda of development, national security and sab ka vikas so deeply in his heart?

Do Indians want an honest Modiji or a stupid pathological, compulsive, sociopath liar?

He apologises in court for his statement on Chowkidar Chor and then repeats it, which reflects nothing but his low self-esteem, porous credibility and personality disorder.

Congress is a sick political party and therefore it can afford to have Raghul Gandhi as its supreme leader. But how can India that has produced Sir CV Raman, JC Bose, Rabindranath Tagore, Rama Krishna Paramahansa, Swami Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi, Tiruvalluvar, Gandhi and finally the great leader like Modiji can afford to have such stupid pathological, compulsive, sociopath liar to lead the nation?

Lie can be eliminated only by defeating and not by celebrating or sensationalizing either the lie or the liar.

Lie, corruption, the punkah coolies of the dynast, dynastic politics, corruption, scam, nepotism, tukde tukde gangs are waiting to swallow the agenda of development, national security and sab ka vikas of PM Modi. These groups would destroy India totally and completely if a toe holds space is given to them. Therefore people of India must excise great caution and responsibility while voting because every single vote for Modi alone can save India from such greedy gang.

Eliminate stupid pathological, compulsive, sociopath liar from Indian politics and re-instate the good and honest governance of Modi and save India.

PM Modi has achieved several landmark reforms and has taken India to new heights. India needs a stable and durable government and decisive leader- Modi to lead and not the stupid pathological, compulsive, sociopath liar.

Let us pledge in the name of Bharat Mata, we will save India by electing Modi with landslide margin.

NDTV, Congress supporter funded leftist media house, regularly host a one sided debates with panelist from JNU, Lutyen journalists/Congress sympathizers with anti-national agenda and their primary target is always to show how PM Narendra Modi is wrong on his views and facts in every election speeches be it internal security, economy, foreign policy or strengthening India’s deterrent power. Latest debate was on PM Narendra Modi’s views on Nuclear weapon which he said in one of his recent speech in Rajasthan.

PM Narendra Modi quotes as reported by ANI:

In the latest debate on NDTV by Nidhi Razdan with extremely one sided panel of anti BJP they continued with anti-national agenda with falsehood and fake narratives. Congress spokesperson – Aishwaraya Mahadev, former ambassador KC Singh who is anti BJP, Maya Mirchandani who was working with NDTV till recently and now working with various online portals including extreme left media house The wire, whose journalists regularly peddle fake news. Pawan Kumar Verma who represents JDU (NDA partner) stays away from taking any hardline when it comes to supporting BJP or PM Narendra Modi.

Finally, the anchor Nidhi Razdan and by default one should always include Nidhi as Congress supporter and anti BJP/Hindu as she is quick to jumps on the conclusion and blames Hindus/Gaurakshak on any scuffle/riot or incident in BJP ruled states and I have not seen one single debate on very serious remarks from Election Commission observer on West Bengal election process and havock created by TMC goons and Mamta Banerjee on common citizens.

To support BJP’s view NDTV invited Prof. Sanjeev Tiwari, some unknown political analyst. Now here is the interesting twist which NDTV does it regularly to drive its extreme left anti National agenda. They invite very low level BJP party functionaries or any supporter of BJP on the debates. Now since this people don’t know how to debate on live TV and most of the time they are not so affluent speaking English get nervous with one sided panel and this time it was four to one. In this debate all the four Congress supporters lied several times.

So as always instead of taking BJP’s view first as the speech was given by PM Narendra Modi, Nidhi starts with KC Singh who always takes anti BJP stand in any topic and he can lie brazenly and profoundly as he knows that nobody will counter him. In his allotted time he emphasized that Atal Bihari Vajpayee doctrine and stated that if India wants to be a member of a Nuclear Supplier group, it should start behaving responsibly instead of becoming likes North Korea or Pakistan.

Well Mr. KC Singh should see the views of British Prime Mister Theresa May who stated that “without hesitation that she would order a nuclear strike to kill hundreds of thousands of people if she thought it was necessary” She said this during the parliamentary debate in House of Common on 18 July 2016 and Mr KC Singh knows that UK is a part of NSG and if they can openly give a threat like this, why India cant state their position. In short being ex ambassador doesn’t mean he knows everything and his views globally accepted norms.

Nidhi Razdan with her anti-National agenda keeps repeating the same line as KC Singh to drive her agenda that India wants to be a part of NSG group how come PM can say this casually. Well she should also see the House of Common debate and reply by UK Prime Minster.

Now come to another Congress sympathizer her anti-National agenda, Maya Mirchandani. She also keeps repeating the same lie that leader of any responsible country will never make the statement like this despite internal political compulsion and why I as a global citizen should defend by war mongering Prime Minster. Well Maya Mirchandani should also stop talking lie as first of all she has never defended PM Narendra Modi views or any schemes in last five years as their stated position was always anti BJP while working with NDTV and also I have not seen any common British citizen defending their PM statement on Nuclear weapon which she claims. Its time, she should also come out of their Lutyen cocoon and should see the above debate.

When Prof. Sanjeev Tiwari countered Maya Mirchandani with facts, as expected Nidi Razdan stopped him to continue with her anti-national agenda of NDTV. The electronic media give ample coverage of the voter’s expressions with the inked fingers. The fresh voters remain the most delighted ones who jovially and confidently come forward in showing their inked index fingers. It surely gives them a clear chance to participate at the democratic process. Whosoever wanted to highlight the inked finger either before the click-clack camera or the enthusiastic spectator exhibit the inked finger? Older or younger all experience the similar mood in showing the inked index finger.

However, lifting up inked index finger does not look bad or despicable. Raising a finger has always caused a flutter in every field of human activity. It used to denote dull sense in our daily mundane life. Even the politicians were reported to have said that the finger raisers could not be tolerated at any cost. However we should not forget that raising any of the fingers tells different overtones at certain time.

A recent complaint of sexual harassment by a former woman employee of the Supreme Court against CJI Gogoi and the institutional response so far, echoing the line about independence of the judiciary, has been much frowned upon. The CJI gave a fairly detailed rebuttal saying that the lady has a criminal background – she was in custody after accepting Rs.50,000 from a person on the assurance that she would find him a job at the Supreme Court. He added that her husband was making calls to the office of the CJI, demanding that his wife be re-instated or else…Yet, the urgency with which the matter was taken up on the judicial side, hurriedly heard by a bench which included the CJI himself but no woman judges, where the CJI held forth against the complainant without including his name in the judicial order has raised legal eyebrows.

In this connection, the chairman of the Bar Council of India has opined that these are all false allegations and an attempt to malign the institution; entire bar is standing in solidarity with the CJI. Lawyers Gautam Bhatia and Ashish Goel have condemned this support of the Bar to the CJI.

Earlier a lady intern had accused Justice Ashok Kumar Ganguly on Feb 2, 2012 of harassing her sexually. The Supreme Court then appointed a three-member committee to probe the allegations and identified A K Ganguly as the one who harassed her. He repeatedly denied all charges. He was indicted on 6 December 2013 by the committee, which agreed with the intern’s allegation that he had subjected her to “unwelcome sexual behaviour” in December 2012. He resigned from the West Bengal Human Rights Commission on 6 January 2014 after the Union Cabinet decided to make a Presidential Reference on 2 January 2014 to the Supreme Court for his removal. But the intern never recorded her statement before the police and once he had been eased out of the post of Chairman, WBHRC, the case just fizzled out. The woman was not acted upon for foisting false charges.

When an employee complains that he or she is experiencing sexual harassment of any type, the employer has a legal, ethical, and employee relations obligation to thoroughly investigate the charges.

Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Act, an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has to be constituted to effectively deal with complaints pertaining to the same and the redressal process should be broadly following the organization’s policy relative to sexual harassment and the course of natural justice.

Ideally, the judiciary should tackle the matter head on and provide the employee all means to fight her case by ensuring that due process is followed. Now, the question is whether this allegation can be construed to be a personal attack on Justice Gogoi or an attack against the institution of judiciary. If there is the hand of some other external and more powerful force in this matter, and it is found that the employee was just being used as a scapegoat, then it is an attack against the institution of judiciary. Also, then, that entity should be clearly recognized and suitably admonished/punished but care should be taken while dictating the punishment to the employee.

Damn it. Words were harsh and hard. She may have considered, “Oh! God, what I have said, I became so keyed up. It could have probably been owing to her fit of speechifying. She forgot about focusing on her fluency. However, her only obedient son Varun Gandhi came to her rescue subsequently. She was of course indicted for her razor-sharp remarks. She had to later make clarifications in her own particular way. Whatever was said by her appeared to have been uncomfortable for even Varun Gandhi?

That was why he came as an obedient son and tried to cleanse her mother’s bitter language in regard to the Muslim voters of the constituency. He said it won’t be a problem if the Muslims would not vote for him, saying he would help them out with their work. Notwithstanding her mother was just the contrary in her views. His mother Maneka Gandhi had said the Muslims should vote for her or else she may not be inclined to be responsive to their requests.

Like an ideal son he did not hesitate in rectifying the real damage. His comments came days after. However she explained that her words had been twisted. Intervening into the all-around disapproval of the expression, as a mature politician Varun Gandhi presented himself in the respective characters of Rama and Bharat at the same time. He thought it his paramount responsibility to make the damage control. His comments somewhere have lessened the sharpness concealed in her mother’s fury.

Without doubt Maneka Gandhi was more experienced politician than her only son but the son has shown his perceptive views in image improvement. Here it can be said that Varun Gandhi has even crossed Rahul Gandhi and acted like Priyanka Gandhi. There is an oft-repeated Biblical proverb which goes thus: Man proposes and God disposes. But in the political field this very maxim turned topsy-turvy. This was apparent with what Maneka Gandhi said in her message to the Muslims. Later on Varun Gandhi used his political wit in uttering a totally different expression regard to the Muslim voters. In way it was more like mother proposes and son disposes.

The sexual harassment charges against the Chief Justice of India by one of his junior officers has although brought down the reputation of the judiciary at least at perception level but it also shows the larger picture about the possible consequences of institutions of higher reputation if it appears to have side the lobby and wants to tarnish the reputation of the government headed by Modi. He is known for his honesty, probity and firmness in dealing corruption without any favour or fear.

Most of the institutions under the government of the dynast in the past had made several institutions to dance to its tune and that is how the famous phrase the CBI has earned called it is a ‘caged parrot’.

But when Narendra Modi came to power, the autonomy and independence of most of the institutions were restored; his government did not interfere in the free and fair functioning of the institutions but demanded public trust, accountability and probity.

Unfortunately the heads and the prospective future heads of some of the institutions may have found it strange to pledge accountability and responsibility to the nation and hence became part of the lobby. Indirectly they started to malign the reputation of the institution thinking that they were attacking Modi government.

The conduct of former chief of Reserve Bank of India, Raghuram Rajan was seen largely only from the above context. Similarly the public protest of the judges of Supreme Court of India against the then Chief Justice of India was also seen as part of fulfilling the agenda of the lobby than discharging the responsibility and duty that they owe to the institution in which they work.

Interestingly things have changed, the contour, colour and shape of all such relations have changed, the cause or the tool of the lobby has become the victim or has come at the receiving end.

The merit of the allegation against Chief Justice of India cannot be trusted or dismissed fully as no such incidents would leave sufficient evidences in public for people to verify. But the larger point that embroiled in the allegation needs to be discussed. If the incident were true, why the details were shared to some select media houses that are assumed to be linked with the lobby and why was the affidavit shared to all those judges who were not at all party to the case or the investigation?

The above act clearly reveals the hidden motives than the truth present in the allegation. Thanks to the able governance of Narendra Modi and his impartial style of working, the government could restrain most of the media houses not to debate the issue without sufficient evidences as it would damage the reputation of highest office of judiciary in India.

Modi acted more as a statesman, patriot, a leader of exemplary character and stature.  Whereas the person who is the storm of allegation purposefully made a twist during their protest against the then Chief Justice of India that the allocation of Justice Loya’s case was also one of the causes for their protest. 

People of India, especially the educated youths and the citizens who love our country must see how the government of Modi has come forward to protect the dignity and integrity of the office of Chief Justice of India. The union Finance Minister has traveled miles ahead and made a statement about the impeccable integrity of the Chief Justice of India and the treacherous and malicious intentions of the lobby to malign most of the institutions in India if the institution stood with justice and rule of law than with the lobby.

The point of the debate is not about the allegation over Chief Justice of India but it is all about how the lobby of certain political party which promote the culture of dynasty and ‘punkah coolie’ are onto damage India for their self- gratification.

Even during election season, BJP stands for values, patriotism, dignity and respect of institutions and that is why the party has never made any attempt to malign the institutions in India.  Whereas the lobby is working at the behest of some political party of the dynast that promote the culture of dynasty and ‘punkah coolie’ and wants to destroy India, cause instability, breed corruption and nepotism.

India needs a stable and decisive government headed by Narendra Modi who will neither bend for the lobby nor would allow corruption and nepotism to crawl in the administration. India, its dignity, development, national security, sab ka vikas alone are the mission and agenda of PM Modi. Whereas if power is given to the dynast or Tukde Tukde gangs, they would use the power to dilute all the corruption cases against them and hardly would they have time for governance or development. 

Save India from dynastic forces and forces that want to fragment our growth, development and national security. It would be the lobby that would rule the country if the dynast is elected to power. Hope people of India would elect Narendra Modi with massive majority and will ensure the agenda of development, national security and sab ka vikas.

The exemplary leadership quality of PM Modi should inspire people to vote for his government once again and not to the corrupt and negative politics of the dynast.

Humiliating, excommunicating, demonizing, ridiculing and throwing out the party workers and those who have heavily contributed to the party by congress dynasty is well known and it is very much in the DNA of the party.

Rajaji, Sitaram Kesari, Narasimha Rao, Sharad Pawar, Madhav Rao Scindia, Rajesh Pilot, VP Singh, Arun Nehru….. list may go endless about to show how the dynasty of Nehru has ill-treated its leaders for raising right questions.

The latest victim is Madam Priyanka Chaturvedi who was known to India as one of the star spokesperson of congress party. During several occasions, she has defended the party brilliantly and has taken the debate away from the subject to save the party. No other spokesperson of congress party has shown such smart skill to defend the congress even in an indefensible situation. But unfortunately the dynast Raul Vinci has shown door to Priyanka Chatruvedi.

Exit of Priyanka is different from that of other congress leaders. Most of the congress leaders were thrown out mainly due to political reasons where they did not oblige to be ‘Punkah coolie’ of the family, were not willing to prostrate before the Italian lady, instead questioned the congress party why no leader from within should not be elected to lead the party. VP Singh on the other hand exposed the Bofors corruption of Rajiv Gandhi government, where Sonia Gandhi and her family were alleged to have involved in the scandal and not Rajiv Gandhi, as revealed by Dr Subramanian Swami.

In the case of Priyanka Chaturvedi, the reason is quite strange and shocking. As per the revelation, Priyaka Chatruvedi was sexually abused (misbehaved) by some party men, which she has reported to the higher-ups in the party. Instead of removing such elements from the party, the dynast has given ticket to all those goons to contest. Such an act of the dynast should not be seen as just an insult to Priyanka Chaturvedi alone, but it is against entire womanhood.

BJP when chants Bharat Mata ki jai, look the way congress party has treated a woman who stood with party for nearly two decades. Congress party has abused her by recognizing those who misbehaved with her.

The question before Indians is quite clear. Do you want the dynast who had insulted entire womanhood though Priyanka Chaturvedi or the leader- PM Modi who through, ‘Manasa Vacha Karmana’ (‘मनसा–वाचा–कर्मणा‘) worship Bharat Mata and respect entire womanhood to lead India?

The selection of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur as the candidate of BJP in Bhopal itself testifies how BJP and Narendra Modi treat women.

Sadhvi was tortured by the government of Sonia-Raul Vinci under the tag Hindu terror, malign the entire Hindu community, defamed, humiliated, physically and mentally assaulted Sadhvi without even granting the minimum respect a women deserves, a Sadhvi deserves. But BJP and PM Modi as soon as she was acquitted requested her to contest against the ‘Punkah coolie’ of the dynast – Digvijay Singh, the main culprit of the entire anecdote.

The Punkah coolie of the dynast – Digvijay Singh was the one who strengthened the term Hindu terror and tried to make maximum political capital out of Sadhvi and Swami Assemananda. But the court exonerated then by rejecting all fabricated and cooked up evidences against them.

PM Modi is a firm believer of restoring the dignity and right of womanhood which he proves by electing Sadhvi to contest from Bhopal and tell the people of India about her torture by congress party just to please some Bishops and Mullahs and appease minority as a part of its vote bank politics. Also the BJP allies SIVA Sena has restored the dignity of Madam Priyanka Chaturvedi.

Literally the government of the dynast had behaved like Ravan, abducted the dignity and right of Sadhvi Pragya. Like the famous saying ‘coming events caste their shadow before’ the destruction of the political dynasty is certain. No one needs to defeat the dynast, the past karma of the dynast alone is sufficient to destroy the dynast.

The injustice of Priyanka Chatruvedi is the message for the entire womanhood who also may be made to endure all such injustices if the dynast is elected back. Every woman in India is like Bharat Mata, the embodiment of endurance, love, compassion and commitment. Narendra Modi, before begin his every speech and during conclusion, always used to chant Bharat Mata ki jai. The primary duty of Hinduism is to respect and protect the dignity of women.

Islam, Christianity and other religions, none of them have goddess or women god. Whereas, Hinduism has several goddesses and most of the goddesses are worshiped to be more powerful than gods.

India is described as Bharat Mata and the planet earth is described as mother earth and that is culture and civilization of human race.  But look at the culture and politics of the dynast of congress party.

Let us save India, let us elect Narendra Modi led BJP with massive majority, let use vote for development, national security and sab ka vikas and not the dynast who promote nepotism, corruption and instability and finally would inflect injustice and insult to womanhood.
