DMK the accidental beneficiary of nationalism invoked by PM Narendra Modi

0

A deeper analysis of the victory of DMK in Tamil Nadu shows a different picture, the fact less understood, less discussed, less debated and more obvious and visible.

Ever since Narendra Modi came to power in 2014, India has started to move with one ethos and one philosophy and people have started to think and conduct themselves as Indians than as Keralite or Tamilian etc. The wave of nationalism people of India started to embrace and people have also started to trace their original and authentic identity called Hinduism.

People have also started to realize the danger of entertaining tukde tukde gangs and regional parties and therefore have decided to support nationalism and BJP. As a result of nationalism wave, congress also benefited to some extent as congress party is the only other national party available to people of India as second option. If we look at the scenario in Karnataka, people have defeated the dynastic JDS. In Kerala, the electorates chose congress over BJP and defeated the insignificant communist party in Gods own land. Since BJP doesn’t have deep roots in Kerala and congress party having strong hold in the state, people have chosen congress party as it represents the national voice better than the negative communist party.

The feeling of same nationalism only has worked in Tamil Nadu as well. Tamil Nadu was ruled by congress party until 1967. BJP is yet to make its impression in the state. People of Tamil Nadu want to move away from the regional parties when they elect their representatives for the parliament. The nationalism only has kindled the people of Tamil Nadu to move towards congress party as they could connect with congress well as the party had ruled the state before the emergence of DMK. The wave of nationalism inspired by Modi has indirectly benefited the congress party both in Tamil Nadu and Kerala where BJP is yet to become strong. As a result of the above re-calibration of people towards nationalism, DMK become the accidental beneficiary and it won massively purely due to congress party.

It was debated earlier that DMK had given 10 parliamentary seats to congress party and which was quite fooling politics of DMK. But today it has been proven that DMK won all the seats it contested only because of congress party and the nationalism spirit invoked by BJP. People’s support would have shifted towards BJP this time if BJP has strong presence in Tamil Nadu. Whereas congress has got a traditional root in Tamil Nadu so people of the state has chosen congress party as it represents the national voice and all those aligned with congress naturally got benefited.

The serious fight from within AIADMK, the Dinakaran factor, other fringe players, all had traction considerable vote bank of AIADMK. Further the credibility of PMK and DMDK due to bitter criticism they had slapped on AIADMK till the eve of forming an alliance with AIADMK also had dented the electoral prospects of AIADMK.

People of Tamil Nadu will certainly repent soon for the grave mistake they have committed by electing DMK which knows nothing but play the politics of negativity, anti-Hindu and anti-God rhetoric. DMK also focused more on parliamentary election thinking that it can come to power at the centre so the party had invested all its eggs in parliamentary basket.

People of India has proved that Modi and BJP alone can save India and Tamil Nadu. The best and the wise political move of EPS and OPS has left enormous hope for Tamil Nadu to prosper. AIADMK decided to align with BJP and thereby AIADMK made sure that the state would continue to flourish with the continuous guidance of Modi and central government. DMK could not win considerable number of seats in the state and hence has to sit on fence with the hope that one day Stalin could become Chief Minister of the state.

If all warring factions of AIADMK decides to buy peace and work together to re-invent the golden rule of MGR and Amma, if PMK, DMDK and other alliance parties decides to work together with AIADMK without any division and difference and all of them collectively promote and spread the god governance of Modi and how important is for the state to support Modi than DMK-Congress alliance, the AIADMK alliance can not only defeat DMK but also can eliminate DMK from Tamil Nadu politics.

The AIADMK alliance must gain credibility by being together, fighting together for people and must spread the importance of development of the state than the divisive, regional politics of DMK.

DMK has won the election purely due to nationalism and congress, therefore defeating DMK is not that difficult for AIADMK alliance provided they together promote nationalism and Modi. The development centric and corruption free governance of Modi must be daily told to the people by all parties of AIADMK alliance and simultaneously people must be told about how they have wasted their vote by electing DMK which cannot offer anything to the state and only BJP government and AIADMK government alone can develop the state.

Congress party forming government at centre is not going to happen in the next 100 years and therefore electing Congress led or congress included alliance is only going to defeat the state. Hope people of the state would realize their mistake and would come back to AIADMK-BJP fold to save the state and remain with the ethos of one India.

My Grandmother: The Unfeminist

My grandmother was widowed with six children. The children grown up and off to work in cities, she was alone in the village house. Ever since I remember, whenever I went to my village, my grandmother was always out and about in the village, visiting people. People missed her when she did not make her regular round. The purpose of her rounds was nothing more than seeing and chatting up with people.

She could have stayed with any of her boys and their families, but she was too independant to follow the rules of someone else’s house. She visited them occassionally but chose to stay in the village house where she had her space and unquestioned say. She was never alone and did not seem lonely. I am certain she missed her husband and her family, but one never heard her complaining. She was happy when we visited her in the village, but unnecessary show of emotion was not her forte.

She ensured that she had her share in the property and kept it till she died. It was her right and she exerted that. None of the “my sons will take care of me, what do I need my own money for?” crap from her. She took care of herself without dependence on anyone. There was no way to manipulate her, not even by affection. All her grandchildren tried to exert their influence on her, but she knew her mind. She acted as she pleased till the day she breathed last.

She was widowed at a young age. Women who were brides in the village observed purdah, did not leave their homes and go about from house to house socializing with other people. They would put the pallu of their sari on their head when they encountered an outsider or an elder in the house. Sometimes she did too, when the sun was too hot, or out of reflex when she saw someone elder to her; but it was not something she followed religiously. She did not make it an issue, and it was not an issue for anyone in the village.

Mine is a rather small village with people of many castes. If someone is aware of village dynamics, one would know that you would avoid visiting people from lower denominations. She did not care. She visited every house she wanted to. Noone tried to stop her or had disrespect to her because of this. Again, everyone fell in line with that. No answers were given by her, no questions were asked.

She liked to move around and “exchange information” and she did just that. The amazing this is that, no one from the family or the village questioned her, stopped or even criticized her. When you just do things without bothering about society, society falls in line naturally. She showed no doubt or dependancy, offered no comments or explanation. What was the level of her education? Same as every woman of her generation in the village at that time, that is- “Kala Akshar Bhains Barabar“. Her demeanour was such that her strength and choices never looked forced. It was just as it should be. She had no swagger, no high talk, nothing exceptional that people would remember her for.

Hers was the most naturally strong character and an unassuming personality. Nothing she did even looked anomalous, even when it was against the norms of the village. Her attitude was such that noone even thought to question her choices and actions however small or big they were. Everyone simply accepted her as she was, as she did. Such was the naturalness of her demeanour.

She had nil aspirations to lead people or become a role model. She enjoyed her life, lived her life, the way she wanted. Was she a great motivator or someone with a lot of influence? Was she a role model? Did she do any remarkable things? Did the men and women of the village run to her for advice or support? Answer to all these question would be an uncontested NO.

Is it absolutely essential to make a statement about everything? The confidence with which you live your life will make all your decisions and doings look natural; which is how it should be. Unnecessary battles and victimhood only suck life energy and must be avoided and shunned.

What did I inherit from her? I believe nothing other than a desire to be myself and a consciously inculcated disregard for what anyone else thinks of me.

Are you only a feminist when you question certain inconsequential aspects of the status quo? You can either question the inconsequential or just render it inconsequential by not questioning it. What if you do not give them any space in your head and move on with however you wish to be with or without having to challenge the status quo?

Is it even important to be a feminist, whatever that entails?

You can be an untagged woman being just the way you are or want to me. And must I remember my Grandmother’s admirable, unremarkable qualities only on Women’s day, week or month? I can do much more justice to her memory simply by emulating her; but that is hard because you cannot possibly emulate someone’s being.

4 propaganda points that the Congress tried to peddle during 2019 elections and failed miserably

Both the political and ideological opponents of PM Modi failed to understand the mood of the nation completely. This lack of understanding about the ground reality alone seems to have contributed to their failure more than anything else. Here are a list of propaganda and false narratives that opponents of PM Narendra Modi tried hard to push against him, but which did not work in their favour.

1. Neo-Left’s flop show.

There was this group of neo-leftists, including Kanhaiya Kumar, who repeatedly pleaded the voters to ‘vote for the best MP from your constituency and not for Modi’. This message did not strike a chord in people’s heart at all. Because it was asking people to put their local self-interest above their National interests. But people vote as a nation when it comes to General Elections in India and this is what the neo-leftists failed to recognize. The Left perhaps did not expect Indians to come together as a nation and vote for national security.

2. Denying the success of Modi Sarkar’s schemes.

The opposition parties completely dismissed, and still do, the success of grass-root level schemes of Modi Sarkar. Schemes like Jan Dhan, Ujjwala, Gram Jyoti, MUDRA, Atal Pension, were not merely lip services like “gareebi hatao”. They actually benefitted the poorest of the poor through direct transfers into bank accounts. But you can find scores of scholarly articles on the internet written in the last 5 years by the well known anti-Modi media houses about the supposed failure of these schemes. If that were true, there was no way that BJP could have increased its vote share in any which way in these elections. In fact, it is beginning to appear that more poor have voted for Modi this time than the urban middle class or the rich.

3. Scaremongering with slogans like “Democracy is in Danger”.

Another big failure. Ground reality was completely different than what these eco-systems were trying to portray. The “freedom of expression is being suppressed” narrative was being spread vocally and openly by PM Modi’s haters, which in itself was a big irony. People like Arvind Kejriwal went so far as to say that “This would be the last election if Modi comes back to power”. Such statements show that either the opposition parties consider voters of India too naive or that they have Modi-phobia. It is unsurprising as to why the voters did not buy any of these narratives.

4. The overly hyped up “minorities are in danger” narrative.

Clear cut one-sided and biased reporting about communal incidents and attempting to paint India as an intolerant society under Modi Sarkar also failed big time. Fake reports on Church attacks and attempts to brand the larger Hindu community as ‘intolerant’ did not go well with people. The narrative that if you vote for BJP then you are a fascist was also pushed very vigorously by university intellectuals. It hardly persuaded the voters to vote against Modi Sarkar, since the situation on the ground wasn’t really as bad as these outlets were trying to make it appear.

PM Modi has been communicating directly and extensively with people on the ground, on social media and through radio broadcasts like ‘Man ki Bat’ which was heard by crores of people every month. His opponents criticized him for not holding a single press conference. But in reality, he left no stone unturned to answer people of this country directly and to assure them that he is working for them continuously. One thing is clear, that the people don’t anymore buy the propaganda of eco-system media outlets and university intellectuals. They observe the results. They prefer actions over talks. Basically, they prefer reality over opinions. In short, “Ye Public hai, ye sab jaanti hai.”

When defeat fails to defeat dynasty in Congress

0

The great theatrics seen in congress party after the historic defeat gifted by people of India, starting from the dynast to many others making their offer to quit knowing fully well that they alone have to approve such offers and as expected, all such offers getting rejected speaks volumes and volumes about the truth that congress party cannot save itself from the culture of dynasty and one family.

It is so unfortunate that the century old party still has to hangs onto one family and survive on entitlement of one family to rescue the party and India. In personal equation, a lion if decides to accept the leadership of a lamb because it cannot accept the leadership of tiger is fine but in party politics the lamb can at best bleat loudly and continuously but cannot save the pride of lion. Further the lamb through its bleat only would make its bankruptcy and helplessness loud and eloquent and cannot offer any smart strategy to its followers to be successful.

Beauty of the entire drama in congress party is that Rahul Gandhi submits his resignation offer to himself and then he himself rejects the offer of his resignation because no one is there in congress to lead the party. The biggest joke is that his sister comes to his support the dynast to persuade him not to resign.

When a heard of sheep decides to remain as sheep and looking for the shepherd to lead them, can only behave with sheep or herd mentality. Irrespective of the behaviour of the shepherd whether he culls one sheep or sell, still the remaining flock would continue to follow him.

The unfortunate and the most disgusting part of the story is that even the defeat can’t fail the dynasty in congress party and dynasty culture shall continue forever in congress party despite its poll debacle or success. The reason being, congress party is a family establishment and hence the owner of the establishment shall always be the family members and the employees only are accountable or would suffer sacking for poor performance. In brief, the congress workers, congress party men and those congress men contest various elections must work and make the dynast win and the dynast doesn’t have any role or responsibility to make the party win. When the party wins, the credit naturally goes to the dynast and when the party fails, naturally the blame goes to cadres and the respective leaders and that is how all family establishments would function.

Whereas BJP is a cadre and merit driven party and therefore the culture of entitlement no one can enjoy in BJP. Performance alone counts in BJP and not sycophancy and punkah coolies.

The massive mandate given to Modi in 2019 by people of India is only due to the performance, corruption and scam free governance, governance that was devoted for sab ka vikas, India’s pride and national security. Development was the only focus of Modi and not nepotism or culture of entitlement and sycophancy which are being promoted in congress party.

The question is how congress party is going to survive in Indian politics with the dynast as its leader is a big question mark.

People oppose the dynast because all he knows only to bleat like a goat, accuse and allege Modi without any facts and merit, call the honest Modi chor etc.

Even the TIME magazine has described the dynast as ‘the most un-teachable’ person in Indian politics. When such leader lead his flocks with lie, ignorance, allegations which are farcical, politics of negativity, hatred and divisiveness, how can such leader resurrect the century old party and make it victorious in future.

Indian electorates are becoming wiser, well informed and smart. Can the dynast treat Indians like congress men who always praise the dynast and fall at his feet and would say – Lord, you alone can save congress party and India.

When Indians have a best leader, a leader who is an embodiment of truth, honesty, dedication, development agenda, sab ka vikas, national pride and national security, how the Indian would accept the dynast if remains so adamant with ignorance and wish to go ‘un-teachable.

If the dynast accept Modi as great leader and apologise for his third rate remarks on Modi publicly and support Modi to make India win, certainly the dynast would get some blessings of Modi.  Through such practice, the dynast also can learn some leadership traits from the spill over leadership traits of Modi.

Need of the hour is an invisible Rahul Gandhi, visibly a follower of Modi, silent, calm and restraint than noisy and bleating.

Congress party also must realize the truth that as long as regional parties are strong, congress cannot grow and therefore congress must resurrect its national face by defeating and dismantling the regional parties and not by supporting them. For example, the DMK should not be allowed to form government without congress party ensuring key berths for itself in TN if in distant future, DMK wins.

Respect the sentiments of Indians and respect Modi. Praise Modi and do not abuse Modi. Tries to be honest and never make false allegations upon the honesty of Modi. Be a fresher in politics, forgo entitlement politics, respect the dignity of Prime Ministers post, never inject dirty politics in several institutions to malign India, never engage in appeasement politics, infuse confidence in minority and never divide them against Hindus are the piece of words Indians have for they dynast.

Instead of aspiring for power and foment regional parties, aspire to win the respect of Indians, save the congress first and then desire to become Prime Minister of India.

Political correctness and the death of honesty in democracy

0

Political correctness/Politically correct (PC). Ever heard of this expression? An expression when pursued in democracies leads to their slow and painful death. PC, has resulted in a public discourse of dishonesty ranging from the world’s greatest to the world’s biggest democracy. In the name of being PC, one needs to mince words and is expected to express themselves in a manner such that a specific community or a bunch of people do not feel hurt and their sentiments/ideologies/atrocities/crimes remain beyond any criticism and scrutiny whatsoever. A language that only pleases the cardinal sense of hearing needs to be employed, things that are visually pleasing are to be showcased and only aspects that are pleasant and palatable to the reader/viewer need to be expressed. In short the path to tread is the one that is laden with euphemisms.

PC1

However, PC does not end there, the collective behavior of a community and individuals constituting it cannot be discussed or debated on a public platform. Notwithstanding facts and figures is an asset. Statistics do not matter anymore. Anyone who tries to criticize is a bigot, which precedes, denial of any wrongs on the part of a community or individuals belonging to it. This is the crux of the issue, where people have forgotten to respect honest criticism and live a cocooned existence lying to themselves and others constantly, fearful and apprehensive of facing the truth.

What PC has resulted is in a vast majority of millennial’s as well as a significant fraction of the populace appreciate nothing beyond their comfort zone and bubble. It has resulted in creating the “victim-hood is an asset” narrative and “snowflake” culture. People take offence and are offended by even the silliest of things or expressions. In addition to this, the public discourse has been so distorted and twisted that acceptable things of the past are being frowned upon by the mainstream narratives of today. And the worst perhaps is the unwanted attention of seemingly silly things that are being bombarded by mainstream media on a daily basis which lack any substance, but are enough to entertain and make a few people happy.

900

This reduction of of intellectual discourse to the lowest echelons is perilous to any democracy as its very ethos are under threat. Debate, argument, deliberation and a platform to express every opinion etc. in short freedom of expression (FoE) a fundamental pillar over which democracy rests is being systematically demolished right in front of our eyes. Modern day democracies consist of two types of people, and the culture of PC is to be blamed for the same i) regressive left surviving on identity politics and ii) overzealous extreme right. Both these fringes consist of people who do not understand the intricacies of a democratic system of governance. Such polarization is inevitable, if democracies do not soon find a solution for PC.

It is amply clear today that PC has resulted in the consolidation and the strengthening of the right as their voices have been suppressed for far too long. What is perhaps the most unfortunate outcome of PC is the lack of an honest dialogue within a community that desperately needs to reform itself. Without any external criticism such a dialogue never gets prioritized and PC is an impediment to the natural evolution and social progress of a community that is in the earlier stages of its evolution. Ironically, PC is seen as a barometer to measure how progressive, multicultural and cosmopolitan a democracy is when in reality it silently encourages barbaric behavior, gags criticism and stifles FoE.

Another outcome of PC is the perpetual feeling of people being vulnerable who belong to certain communities leading in a culture that encourages the demand for “safe spaces” on university campuses. Seriously? Safe spaces? Universities are the centers of learning and they have to provide an unbiased platform where every opinion can be expressed without censorship. In that regard, PC and the resultant victimization narrative has done a lot of harm and disservice to students and society at large who will eventually learn lessons the hard way and realize that the world is not a safe space.  To reconcile with such a reality is a challenge and hence the recent increase in psychological disorders. PC as a tool of empowerment is betraying its own cause! True empowerment happens when one faces reality and not when one succumbs to the victimization narrative. True education imparts people with skills to navigate even tempestuous situations and is not about avoiding the high seas.

maxresdefault

The conflict between PC and FoE will define the future of democracies. The more skewed the discourse PC creates, the greater will be the damage as even decent people are labelled racist and bigoted, who, will eventually fall into the hands of the far right ideologies. The normalization of social discourse and a level playing field needs to be established as soon as possible. Otherwise it will not be long before the breakdown of democracies is inevitable paving way for dictators or even worse anarchists. Mainstream media too needs to mend its ways and make people understand the nuances and subtleties of social dialogue, debate and engagement. However, as of today it seems far fetched as mainstream media itself peddles the narratives of PC.

However the larger questions today are “Is this the natural progression of mature democracies? Are they ought to be like this? Or, is it just an evolutionary phase in the life of a democracy?” These are pertinent  questions that democratic societies and intellectuals from all strata of society need to find solutions to.

political-correctness-woman-stabs-self-bloody-sword

I would like to end on a rather poignant note with a quote from Isaac Asimov:

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

Does this apply to the world in general? The culmination of PC would be in the destruction and death of democracy itself. Do we want that?

The ‘truest’ of indologists

Yesterday was a watershed moment in Indian politics. The BJP literally beat ‘anti-incumbency’, a truly Indian phenomenon and won 30+ seats above the 272 halfway mark, without its allies, that is. No party is complete without its foot soldiers. Every narrative, including our own ‘non-Left’ narrative is built by politicians, academics, media, industrialists, bureaucracy and of course, normal working middle class folk.

But, the truly remarkable ones are the ones without a face, without a name. No glory, no showoff. These are the truest of foot soldiers in any narrative. Their name hardly gets air time in mainstream media. This live in the veil of anonymity for fear of backlash by sick violent elements in society. But in the dead of night, they seek refuge in social media. Debunking lies, exposing academia, finding historical manuscripts, upholding liberal values, indulging in constructive criticism and fighting Adharma.

True Indology is one of them. He recently revealed his identity on Twitter after a few sore losers threatened to dox him. Yes it is a he. Maybe that’s not his picture. Maybe that’s not his face. Maybe it’s heavily photo shopped. It’s inconsequential. I absolutely do not care. My best guess, he is a 20 something lad aspiring for a better tomorrow. Well, so am I. This is where I completely empathise with him. Perhaps, he works for 16 hours in the day and by night, he collects historical scripts, manuscripts, books, pictures, and neatly decks them in that History/Future_Use folder of his hard disk. Then, he navigates to the History/Present folder. Ironically enough, he opens it and smiles contentedly at this mammoth achievement.

He logs onto Twitter next and there begins the demolishment. He starts with the top floor, and words his tweet carefully. After all, he is the product of generations of false narrative. He pioneers to bring accuracy, facts and true history to the table. He first sets fire to the front lawn of the great leftist bungalow. Stage 1. Ego. Who is this? Some pest wreaking havoc in our narrative. How dare he?. Blades of ego light up in the front yard and slowly engulf the beautiful dome shaped door. Stage 2. Power. The inmate, clearly perturbed, uses his political clout to silence Mr Indology. Let me tag a few of my ‘darbari’ friends. They will complain to Jack bhaiyya and soon, this pest will be out.

But this one is relentless. Stage 3. Denial. This time, the fire reaches the stairs and quickly traverses through the curved marble stairs to the inmate’s pathetic excuse of a study. Thick bundles of Wendy Doniger and Irfan Habib, quickly catch fire. Now, the inmate almost compelled to reply, pelts out some well thought out, well polished, well propagated recipe number 16 from the Aryan Invasion theory cookbook. ‘Aha, I have caught you at last’, he says with a smirk on his face. Stage 4. Defeat. The fire quickly consumes everything around the inmate of this palatial mansion. Leave me. Let me go.

He pleads with Mr Indology. No, not so easy. With smug satisfaction, Mr Indology attaches two images from his History/Present folder, and quickly withdraws from the battle. The fire suddenly dies down. The lawn suddenly looks greener than ever and the bungalow is back to its former charm. The only difference becomes clear as the inmate slowly marches into the maze of manufactured narratives, his study. All books, all articles, all unfinished scripts look completely disturbed. As he glances above, his sees his Padma Shri slowly tilting to the left, as the glass on top of it breaks and falls off. Now, he had no award to give back!

This is the story of the greatest tsunami on Twitter, Mr True Indology. Dear, Mr Indology, you, you and only you are the only true winner. I don’t know what you do. I don’t know who you are. Your picture is enough. It moved me as I thought of the fight you fight everyday. Sans support. Sans money. Sans appreciation. What a true warrior you must be. What a true superhero. And wow, so young, alone and brave. May I say, that, you have the silent, complete and dogged support of the masses. The youth. The millennial. The Gen Z. Me.You truly are an inspiration. The sons and daughters of Bharat have fought many a blood war. But you, are the winner today. You truly are.

Like I said before, I completely identify with you.

The Decimator-in-Chief

This election to the 17th Parliament of India will be remembered in the History of modern India for many reasons. This has felled more heavy-weights, stalwarts, Maharajas than any previous election. This has flattened the opposition like never before. This has shattered many a myths on caste equations. This has unequivocally established that the common man is concerned about Roti Kapda Aur Makan and not about caste or religion anymore. This has proved that there can be a pro-incumbency wave for a government that performs. However the credit for making this landslide should be shared equally with the Opposition parties and the liberal elites of the country.

When 2019 dawned, BJP was slightly on the back foot, having lost Rajasthan, Madyapradesh and Chattisgarh to Congress. Earlier that year, it failed to capture power in Karnataka by a whisker. It appeared as if BJP and the popularity of Namo is waning. Opposition, mainly the Congress, was rejoicing and the eternal Prime Minister in the making, Rahul, could not wait any longer to ascend the throne. These losses could not have come at a better time for the BJP for it elevated the hopes and self-belief in Rahul Gandhi that he started believing his own imaginary world of lies, fake news and abuses.

Congress, on a high after a string of electoral victories, started to believe in its own invincibility and refused to look for alliance partners and started to insult the potential post-poll allies. During the Madyapradesh elections, Congress refused to ally with BSP & SP combine. This obviously angered Mayawati to no end but she did not react immediately. After the elections, when the Congress found itself short of a majority, Mayawati magnanimously came forward voluntarily to offer the support of lone BSP MLA to the Congress. This goodwill gesture gesture was not appreciated or reciprocated by the Congress which has started treading its haughty and arrogant ways of yesteryear. The insults meted out to BSP was more than amply repaid when the Mahagadbandhan steadfastly refused to take Congress, leaving the family burroughs of Amethi & Rae Bareli only to the Congress. Not understanding the meaning, Congress fueled the fire by offering a few seats for the MGB.

Another major setback for the Congress came from Shiela Dikshit who was adamant in not having any ties with the Aam Admi Party. Already internal bickering and the strains in the alliance due to the ambitions of Siddaramiah were taking a heavy toll on Karnataka prospects. With all these handicaps, Rahul Gandhi went into the battle. The weapons he chose to fight the war – Lies – backfired on him terribly. Psychology teaches us that if a person repeats a lie again and again, he starts believing his own lies that reality starts to elude him. This was the situation Rahul put himself in. To start with, his fantasy of Rafale deal and giving Rs. 30,000 crores to Anil Ambani failed to convince anyone except himself. Even die-hard congressmen would not believe Modi indulged in corruption but Rahul persisted with it. This was followed by the campaign Chowkidar Chor Hai. This was the nadir of his campaign of abuse and malign that brightened the prospects of Modi.

When Rahul Gandhi started repeating his lies after lies after lies, it destroyed his credibility beyond repair that his plan of dismantling Modi became his undoing. From a serious contender to the post of Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi sank so low that he was not taken as a serious politician at all by the masses. Starting with his hug and wink inside the Parliament and the Modilie episode, his credibility crumbled into pieces but Rahul was oblivious to these facts. NYAY scheme was supposed to be a game changer for the Congress but it failed on two accounts – one, it did not reach the whole of the targeted audience, the rural poor and two, even if it reached at least a part, people refused to believe it and started asking where the money would come from for the scheme. Hitherto, people never asked any politician where the money would come from for the various schemes they may promise but this was the first time when people expressed their disbelief in a scheme and asked questions. All this was thanks to the total loss of credibility.

Apart from the lies, the continued onslaught by the opposition, led by the Congress and Trinamul Congress, against Hinduism, beginning from Hindu-terror to banning Durga pooja celebrations, continued to change the perception of the people about the opposition and its intentions. At one stage, to call oneself Hindu itself is pounced upon as an attack on the minorities by the so called liberals. This created an undercurrent against the opposition parties. In their zeal to win over the Muslim vote, the so called secular opposition crossed all limits in appeasing the minorities thereby angering the silent majority. Even then the Hindu majority does not get angry with the Muslims per se but with the opposition parties and their policy of appeasement.

All said and done, Muslims are not all anti-BJP and a considerable or a majority of them vote for the BJP, though they may not reveal this to any pollster for the fear of radical elements in the community. This was not understood by the vote-bank politicians of the opposition parties. Muslims are like any other Indian, whose primary concerns are roti, kapda aur makan. There are fringe and radical elements in any community and this is universal but the opposition imagined this fringe elements to be the majority and continued pampering them, in search of votes en masse.

The results from UP shattered all myths of caste equations and the dream of the MGB to keep the voters captive, chained under caste considerations. This is a new dawn in Indian history wherein the voters sent an unambiguous message to the political parties that they want development and an end to corruption. Banking upon caste and communal calculations will no more get you any votes anymore. All the opposition parties are to go back to the drawing board to re-calibrate their strategies.

Election 2019: Yes we won, people of India won

0

Yes I won! We won! People of India won who voted for them. The reason was simple that the leadership of a decisive political leader Narendra Modi has won. I have been tagged several times as Bhakt by the people who don’t know the meaning that word and criticised by the to be self proclaimed intellectuals (some are my close friends) for supporting the policy of present government on several issues. I never said anything more then showing truth in mirror of History. I found a very common similarities among these people, they all say that once upon a time they were Bhakt like me but now they have an upside down for Modi. They never understood why they had this change but I Know.

After 2014 elections, there was a digital revolution and whacking increase in internet users. All the propaganda stirred in web world which earlier was limited to television on the name of news channel and Newspaper. My above mentioned friends who were new to this web world started reading and watching the edited content. That time fake news was not news and circulating it was easy. Special channel were created on foreign Christian NGOs. Internet had an earthquake and its eruptions were in form of Web Portals Facts provided on these new openings were selective and so was knowledge of receivers. As a result the psychology of the selective content which binds the unlimited capacity of the brain in chains. In the words of EH Carr,”Facts are like fish swimming in the vast and inaccessible ocean.” So what writer picks,is always depends on what kind of fish he want to catch.

The regular feeding of these negative stories worked on the vulnerable mind of younger generation and hate for Modi was developed. This didn’t Happen in one day, it’s constant negativity storage which veiled the window of their brain and prevented positive stories to get feed.

Today was the meltdown of these folks who got few information from these metro situated digital outlets in AC and were predicting for the nation like India with 90 crore voters.

I talked many of them today, shocking was that they consider 45% of the people who voted for as ‘stupid’. So much ego. They think that India will burnout in next five year(funny). The thing that they can’t see is that lie cannot win in front of an decisive and accepted leader among all section who is raising voice for national integration and Security.

They believe that India will become Hindu Rashtra. Here I want to question them that when were we not a Hindu Rashtra? First of all they should get there definition of Secularism right. With lame understanding of Dharm Nirpekshta and Dharm Sapekshata, it’s very mediocre to debate. India was and is a only Hindu Rashtra on the Earth with Dharm Sapekshata as its feature which means inclusive to all sects. The word Dharma is not equal to ‘Religion’, it is above than that. It is funny to see that people who talk of Secularism opposes Universal Code of Conduct. This expose their limited understanding of Bharatvarsh. The Nehruvian policies has made a secularism a one way street in which unlimited freedom is provided to others and only abstaining majority on name of equality.

This is the time they should accept the mandate of the largest democracy on Earth by its people. If they do not accept this, it would be a disrespect of not only democracy but also India, and the lakhs of election officers’ hard work.

Today common citizen won who were called stupid again and again. Today a Bharatiya won who is proud of its 10000 year old culture. Today a Hindustani won who never invaded any foreign country in its 10000 year old history but has been constantly attacked on his sovereignty because now he is empowered to give befitting replies to these attacks. Jai Hind.

We love you PM Modi. Hello again from India of 2019

Dear PM Modi,

For Narendra Damodardas Modi, Savage is an understatement. In a country that is hard-wired to look for negative signals and anti-incumbency is almost entrenched in our DNA, you managed to bring a pro-incumbency factor.

The country has seen enough of fragmented governance, the famous no confidence motions, comradery and artisanship of creative alliances which stagnated the economy to death. Thanks for giving us a direction and bringing a sense of unity in a country divided on caste, class, cadre or all non-classy subjects. We love you PM Modi, what a clever crafted strategy!

The opposition citing Secularism couldn’t stand any ground, Secularism means carrying all communities together and not alienating and irritating the majority community to appease minorities. The Hindutva vote bank was never so united and strong, somehow opposition failed to notice that a message of strong nationalism was piercing caste solidarity.

While your narratives were focused on Hindutva and Nationalism which works for the masses, electorates can still see through all your other major achievements – Forex reserve, FDI, Fiscal deficit control, Inflation, GDP, supporting bottom of pyramid through multi-dimensional approach and other countless initiatives.

The existence of a strong leadership is a double bonus- People know that a Modi-Shah duo can any day deliver better than Gathbandhan Sarkar. India has seen enough of this jod-tod drama and India of 2019 can probably see through much more than the oppositions were expecting them to see. The Swatch Bharat mission, noose tightening exercise – be it on government employees to the corrupt businessman struck the right chord with every citizen and started reverberating in the corridors of corporates and bylanes of villages alike.

History affirms that only ruthless politics can win election in India. You could a be a great statesman and a great leader but that’s not all to be re-elected, you needed to be street smart and ruthless which you proved and we love you even more for that , Vajpayee was the greatest Indian PM we had and the fast-paced economy supported by global positive factors had everything going for him, he believed in neat and clean politics, being ruthless for the opposition was not him.  But you are different and best answer to this gang and that is why opposition in last 5 years have never been so baffled before, even your strongest opposition failed to understand how to deal with you.

The India of 2019  has little faith on election disposable screen like Nyay. The opposition has a history of winning the most gullible vote shares by timing these election propaganda and campaigns. As voters gone through a profound and enduring shift and believes more in ‘seeing is believing’, it had to be you and not anyone else. We don’t have an alternative to Modi is not a propaganda but a reality.

As we propel in another five years of Modi regime that holds promise and excitement, we want you to continue to do what you have been doing, you know what is best for us, we agree that there is too much at your disposal, but we all admit that no one understands and concerned about these issues more than you.

Even your strongest critiques agrees that you are our best hope; laced with humor, a lust for development and an unwavering can-do –attitude. Let the journey begin!!

When victory tastes sour to DMK, message for AIADMK and cheerleader role for others

Unfortunately some people in Tamil Nadu, the land of great spiritual awakening, land of Tiruvalluvar, Muthuramalingam Thevar, Sambandar has defeated the glory and spiritual essence of the state by defeating the truth, honesty, corruption free governance, governance devoted for sab ka vikas of Modi and have elected a baggage full of corruption and scam allegations, negative politics and politics of lies and dynastic rule.

A well-organized negative campaign was conducted by several sapling groups of DMK against Modi and although DMK has won the election but defeated Tamil Nadu. The support given by people of Tamil Nadu to AIADMK to continue in power proves that still some space and hope is there for truth and honesty in Tamil Nadu.

The most interesting aspect is the sorrow and gory of the winner DMK in the state. DMK has won the parliamentary election but could not get power in the state. It looks like the DMK candidates poured money like anything to come to power with the hope of a coalition government at the centre and with considerable number of seats in parliament, DMK can hard bargain and can also dismantle the AIADMK government in the state. Perhaps this hope would have made the DMK candidates to invest heavily, hoping the harvest would good. DMK is out of power for nearly 10 years and only when they invest heavily this time, they can reap the harvest, but terribly their politics gone wrong. Neither the dream of DMK for a coalition government and fractured mandate at the centre had happened nor could DMK win considerable number of seats to form government in the state.

The victory of DMK appears to taste sour and bitter than sweet. The mandate given by people of Tamil Nadu to DMK will any way go waste for the state and people would soon realize that they have wasted their vote and defeated the state.

India is a large country and Hindu dharma is full of truth, spirituality and progress. Therefore Indians voted Modi with massive majority to save India from such divisive gangs and gangs that promote corruption, nepotism and dynastic politics.

The message for AIADMK and its alliance partners are clear.  If they stay together for the cause of people without cutting each other’s feet until next assembly election, they can easily win the heart of people. All the alliance parties of AIADMK must stay together, speak in one voice and must educate the people of Tamil Nadu about the exemplary governance of Modi and BJP and the importance of the state to go with Modi than with congress and DMK.

The election in democracy is meant to save the country and therefore people must elect to win the state and not to defeat the state as some people of Tamil Nadu had done in this election by electing DMK alliance.

The alliance of AIADMK + BJP is meant to take the state to development and prosperity whereas the other alliance is quite divisive, meant to promote dynastic family politics, politics of corruption, violence, nepotism, caste division, anti-Hindu, anti- God sloganeering, negative politics and politics of lies.

The message for Kamal Hassan and TTV is also quite clear. At best they can remain only as cheerleaders and spoil sport and cannot become a force to govern the state. Their role can at best only defeat their very purpose and other than that they cannot achieve anything better. People should think that their vote should be to develop the state and not to defeat development and goodness. Such an effort would do no good in long run.

If all the alliance partners of AIADMK remain together, speak in one voice and send clear message to people of the state that they are for the state and promote the philosophy and ethos of one India, certainly defeating DMK in the next election is quite possible.

The honest and good leadership of Modi must be promoted and popularized by all of them in Tamil Nadu and only then they can sail and win together. Tamil Nadu must first vote to save India from dynastic corrupt rule and only then Tamil Nadu can save itself. Definitely the safe India under Modi will always support good governance of AIADMK in Tamil Nadu even through some people in the state had voted to defeat the development of the state by electing DMK.

Soon the state must start to chant Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai to save the state from divisive and negative politics.
