Will they ever learn?

0

It has now become clear that the idea of India conjured up by the British is false, and mostly a fabrication to suit their needs of colonization. That is why they dismantled India’s educational system and created a new system of colleges and universities using English as the medium of research and instruction. In 1836, Macaulay said, ”It is my belief that if our plans of education are followed up, there will not be a single idolater among the respectable classes in Bengal thirty years hence.” This they largely succeeded but more so that they did make Bengalis and other Indians forget their own culture and tradition in favour of English ethos and culture. There was however no negative impact on Indian unity because it was non-discriminatory among all Indian language speaking people.

Further, English Imperialism had impacted Indian languages in only a limited way mainly because it is not an Indian language and English was imposed by and large only on the sphere of official communication. But Hindi is an Indian language and it is being now used more and more in all spheres of communication, including commercial, educational and cultural. Hindi conferences are regularly organised in overseas countries and parliamentary delegations visit Indian embassies abroad to scrutinise implementation of Official Languages Act.

Since post-partition/ post-independence days in India, there has been continuous attempts by north-Indian lobby, with aid and abetment of GoI, to coronate Hindi as the only official language as also the only representative language of India and Indians. They are thinking like the Britishers. While crores have been spent to spread and propagate the use of Hindi particularly in the non-Hindi speaking states only meagre sums were made available for all other Indian languages. There has been open discrimination in favour of Hindi over other Indian languages. This has not helped the cause of unity and there have been innumerable protests. Yet the politicians particularly from North and West never seem to learn. Their eagerness to impose Hindi on non-Hindi speaking Indians is only to establish their absolute dominance in all aspects of living of Indian people including administration, education and culture.

How can one not see the gross inequity in all this? Take only the example of job market. A child picks up its mother tongue as a fish takes to water. Effortless ease   is the most important requirement for effective communication; and it comes with the communicator’s command over the medium of expression. So, if it is one’s own tongue, then the first step for effective communication is achieved. Therefore, people with Hindi as mother tongue always have and will enjoy a very unfair advantage in the Hindi dominated system in the competition for recruitment and promotion for jobs. Equality of opportunity assumes a level playing field where the odds are also shared equally by everybody.

We must not forget a very significant and poignant event for the recognition of Bangla bhasa that took place on May 19, 1961 in Silchar, Assam, when 11 people became martyrs; also, that East Pakistan was liberated and Bangladesh got formed only on the issue of the language. In other words, imposing one language over aspirations of other linguistic people can impact national unity and lead to disastrous consequences. Amit Shah may like to think over his statement that Hindi (imposition) is the only way to national unity in India.

From social justice sloganeering to caste justice governance of Modi- The rise of new India from scan ridden congress regime

0

The best resolution of every Indian on the birth day of our dear Prime Minister Modi would be to support him unconditionally to make India free from dynastic politics, corruption, scam and nepotism.

If Modi wins, India wins otherwise we will be gifting our Bharat mata to the hands of those corrupt, dynastic politicians who know nothing but sycophancy and looting.

Once upon a time the political slogan ‘social justice’ was the major traction of people and believing all those who sloganeer social justice would do social justice, people voted them. But those tukede tukede gangs used the same phrase and slogan just to get vote and then engaged in gang loot from the exchequer, did nothing for the deprived section of people.

PM Modi and Amit Shah saw a new opportunity in the day-light cheating of the opposition parties including the congress of the dynast and instead of sloganeering or advertising social justice, started to do everything possible to get justice to all sections of people. PM Modi engaged in empowering people, enabling them economically and making them aspirational.

According to Modi, it not providing freebies or appeasement politics but people must be economically, educationally, socially and politically empowered and then must be integrated into building a new nation. The confidence of people can be gained only thought transparent and good governance, governance dedicated for the development of the nation and not the development of one family like that of congress and other parties is the political philosophy of Modi and that is how Modi has become invincible in the hearts and minds of millions of people.

In the name of social justice, several political parties were playing caste politics and nothing else. The best example is DMK. Way back in late 1960’s, Karunanidhi of DMK divided the community as Hindu nadar and Christian nadar to defeat Kamarajar in Kanyakumari. Subsequently the caste consolidation engineering he perfected to win election which other parties in the state also followed subsequently.

Another irony in Tamil Nadu is that DMK from pre-historic times has been opposing Brahmins but DMK, Christian and Muslims in the state have more often voted only to the self –advertised and testified Brahmin Raghul Gandhi. Today DMK cannot exist in Tamil Nadu politics without both caste politics and congress support.

PM Modi has exposed the real intent and politics of all those who cry social justice and educated the people of various deprived sections that they were even denied the basic facilities like cooking gas connection, toilet, drinking water, power connection, bank account etc. It was Modi who provided all the above to poor people in the rural India. PM Modi has indeed empowered people, made them independent, made them aspirational, made them to learn and study the dirty politics of various tukde tukde gangs and congress party and made them to compare it with the good and transparent governance of PM Modi.

Like the good old saying “the proof of the pudding is in the eating” people have understood, transformed and therefore are supporting Modi and not the rhetoric or negative politics of congress party or other tukde tukde gangs.

The old and rotten policies and practices are when demolished for building a new, honest and transparent order and policy, such structural reform measures are bound to bring some slowness in our growth. We should not see such small drag as negative or sightless but are inevitable evil to make India a great nation.

Caste justice and empowering people is the motto of Modi. Modi not only empowered the weaker section of the society but also looked into the economic status of people who were otherwise neglected and excluded as forward, general or unreserved category. Modi did not play politics with general category but gave them their due share without affecting the due share of the weaker section of people that is already in existence.

Modi lives for the ordinary people, lives for truth and honesty, lives for development and sab ka vikas, lives for the glory and celebration of India.

Let us wish long, healthy and happy life to Modi and let us continue to work for Modi to continue him as our dear Prime Minister for several more terms to save India from corrupt, greedy dynastic political forces.

When India came alive in #Chandrayaan2 age

“Sir, if my child had got 95% marks in the school final, I would have been over the moon. But, here, when my boss is crying like a child, despite the child getting 95% in the most difficult exams, for a club of 3 or 4, I cannot but join. But Sir, I am overjoyed that India is crying after getting 95%. That means we are now aware that we are capable of 100%. There is always a next time in the long journey of life. This is a lesson I will teach my children from my dear employer -Indian Space Research Organisation. Pray India learns too.” An Office Assistant Ramu, is quoted as lamenting, on seeing Prime Minister Narendra Modi warmly hugging ISRO Chairman K.Sivan, who broke down when the last 2.1 kilometres connectivity with Vikram Lander snapped, in a long journey lasting all of 2,90,000 kms to the lunar space on the south pole.

Oh My God, it was a moment for the gods. Moist eyes of 1.3 billion Indians at 01:50 hrs when the link snapped and Doppler Curve went tizzy on the ISRO Control Room screen. ISRO scientists and India did not fail. We made it. We are not satisfied with 95% success even as the Orbiter is circling the lunar space, and would continue to send valuable information for over a year. We wanted 100% success. We willed the Vikram Lander to soft land on the south pole of Chandramaa. And then 3 hours later for the doors to open and Tiranga to unfold: the Pragyan Rover to roll out on its journey around a 500 metre circumference with a 14 day lunar timeline: the tyres of the Pragyan embossed with the Ashoka pillar and ISRO insignia to embed on the moon, to begin India’s veritable colonisation of it.

Alas, it was not to be. We fell short by a whisker, as even we the nincompoop commoners could make out from the faces of the assembled Karmayogic scientists.

‘Bharat Mata cried with us, in unison. Not in disappointment, but for having almost made the impossible a reality. We were aware of the success ratio of lunar missions undertaken in the last six decades is 60 per cent, according to US space agency National Aeronautic Space Agency’s ‘Moon Fact Sheet’. Of the 109 lunar missions during the period, 61 were successful and 48 had failed, it stated. We came close, numbingly close during the ’15 minutes of terror’ as Sivan had put it so eloquently.

Chandrayaan-2 was led by Muthayya Vanitha and Ritu Karidhal, the Project Director and Mission Director, respectively. Vanitha has been with the ISRO for 32 years while Karidhal has worked there for 22. Both women have expertise in engineering and were fundamental to the planning and execution of this mission. Thirty percent of the team working on the project are women. While Parliament has denied India 33% reservation in Lok Sabha seats despite every other party promising it in their manifesto, the women have royally claimed one third of critical positions, not as a right reserved for them, but as a right truly theirs by merit. Amazing statistic the Parliamentarians would do well to note and emulate and if Modi can’t during this term, India may never ever.

We The People may have had OMG moments in our lives- individually, family based, community driven, city specific or State centric or even nationally, say when India won Bangladesh its freedom in 1971, 1975 World Cup in Hockey, 1983 World Cup in Cricket, 1999 Kargil War. But none to match this #Chandrayan2 moment. For once, one felt like hugging even our bizarre and cacophonous idiot box anchors, otherwise abhorred, for their loud mouthed shouting. It was that kind of a day, evening, night and morning, which as fate would ordain ended in 5% mourning as Vikram Lander could not be soft landed. In his centenary year, Vikram Sarabhai, may have played truant when it mattered, for the disdain and indifference we, as Indians, have shown to these brave, self-less, nation driven scientists. We did not deserve 100% success though our scientists richly deserved it. May be we spoilt it for them. Sorry Sirs, we are genuinely sorry that our prayers felt short by 2.1 kilometers which mattered.

The lessons learned from India’s bold attempt to soft land Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram module on the lunar surface will help the country during its future missions, former NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger said. The internationally acclaimed Neil de Grasse, scientist, author, podcaster, ‘astro physicist cum science communicator’, as he calls himself was all praise for India’s effort to spent 0.6% of its GDP on such efforts, even while tackling poverty. De Grasse was astounded that our #Chandrayan2 was run on 900 crore budget. He said every rupee spent was worth its weight in the elusive moon soil. Neil was effusive in his praise for India showing the world the way to go as progress in science and space related in particular was too critical for our very survival as homo sapiens. The channels did well to host scientists, not the daily dose of pseudo experts. For once, we did not mind seeking such affirmation from western sources for they had been there and done it before.

India Prime Time has not always been worth embracing, even as the anchors shout across channels, at themselves and us too, day in and day out. But on the Friday, 6th, Sept, 2019 leading to the wee hours of 7th, we were willingly hopping channels to digest every word, syllable we were hearing from scientists who rightly hogged the limelight this one day. Scientific temper was the reigning deity as dogma and superstition took the back seat where they belonged. Would it last? Or it was just a one day fancy that overtook us as we assimilated the hugeness of the occasion only on that day as it unfolded in front us on live television.

Kailasavadivoo Sivan led team has stuck to its scientific discipline, even as reports suggest that Vikram Lander, which may have had a ‘Space is Hard” (NASA line) landing, was located.” It means nothing. We have not been able to establish any form of communication with it and, till we do so, it is of no significance”.

Truly, even social media invasion was welcome and not tolerated by us. The exchanges and comments and the Kalpana Chawla space tragedy recalled, drove home the bigness of the moment. It took us long to get the hang of what Sivan, Vanitha, Karidhal & Co were setting out to achieve for us. The decades, years , months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, they spent on this mission, were broken down to us, as the time for the Vikram Lander to soft land was fixed at 01.52.54 (was it a Modi magical Ashtakshara Om Namo Narayana connect to 8?). As ISRO officially tweeted “Rough breaking of #VikramLander ends and Fine braking phase starts #Chandrayaan2. Minutes ago, the lander began its descent to the South Pole region of the moon. The descent is being done in four phases. “From about 30 km to 7.4 km, 7.4 km to 5 km, 5 km to 400 m and 400 m to descent.” our hearts were pounding and lips dried up. Prayers were welling up so effortlessly even for non believers. Wherever he is, Abdul Kalam would have loved the manic magic and spell that #Chandrayaan2 cast on us to bless us.

EPS follows Modi’s wish, Gandhian spirit, Amma and MGR’s path- Hail TN for Electric vehicle policy

0

Narendra Modi from the day one after he became the Prime Minister of India, promoting the idea of clean India under the great mission Swachaa Bharat, building millions of toilets for poor people, providing cooking gas connection to them, integrated them into the banking sector to ensure direct transfer of all subsidies which was in the past pilferage by the looters from various political parties. Further Prime Minister Modi is also promoting the idea of using electric vehicle to keep India free from the growing burden of pollution.

To promote the spiritual essence of human existence, harmonious living with nature, importance of personal honesty and integrity in political mission, PM Modi has proposed to celebrate the 150 birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, father of our nation so that the teaching of Gandhi is re-invented to the present generation.

Interestingly Modi is also from Gujarat the land of Gandhi and Patel.

EPS (E Palanisamy) the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is a self-made leader of a class and quality and is on a mission to make Tamil Nadu a great state and save the state from the dynastic, family ridden politics.

Unlike Stalin who became what he is today purely due to his father, EPS has grown in the party step by step and has shown he is the right man to fill the vacuum of Amma and MGR. Recently EPS has announced the state’s electric vehicle policy with an aim to attract an investment of Rs.50,000 crore and job creation for nearly 1.5 lakh people.

The schemes include 100% road tax exemption for all EV’s till 2022, Capital subsidies, reimbursement of state GST, subsidy on land cost, special incentives for creating jobs in EV projects etc. The policy taken by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister EPS is exemplary and such gesture is yet to come from other states.  Another striking feature of the policy unveiled by EPS is that all those who have made investments from April 2018 onwards also can avail the above benefits.

Further EPS wants the overall growth of the state for which the manufacturing activity must take place in southern districts as well and in order to achieve the above objective, 50% subsidy has been announced on the land cost if the investment is incurred to acquire land from Government in southern districts and otherwise the subsidy is only 15%.

EPS is extremely sensitive, agile and responsible in making the state a great land to live and celebrate life. Unlike some political parties in the state, the family comes first, but for EPS, the state and states welfare matters a lot than anything else like and that was how late MGR and Amma conducted the politics.

It looks like EPS got highly inspired by PM Modi and therefore he is focussing a lot on development of the state and not the development of a family or elevation of his son or son-in-law etc., as practiced by other political parties in the state.

Taking the state to perennial success is just a step away for the people. If they defeat DMK in the coming assembly election that is enough, the state will certainly climb up in the ladder of success.

Job creation, pollution free TN, hub of manufacturing, ultimate destination of investors, development of the state and not of one family are the vision and road map of EPS and AIADMK.

People of the state must take a clear stand that, they should not support negative politics, politics of Hindi opposition, anti-God propaganda limiting to Hindu Gods, divisive propaganda and instead must support the good and development centric governance of PM Modi and EPS.

The success of EPS is that he is flexible, open, adaptable, accommodative and kept his mission around the state and not around own family where his son, son-in-law etc., alone matter. EPS has adopted the leadership style of PM Modi to make the state clean and pollution free, the spirit of Amma and MGR that people alone matters and not own family. The state should not lose the glory that was built over the years of toil and hardship by MGR and Amma.

The challenge of people of the state is not about whom to elect, but whom or which political party should not be elected or must be defeated. Defeating the dynastic force in the state would amounts to sowing the seeds of development and fair politics; otherwise the state would suffer from dynastic politics, corruption, nepotism, hatred and negativity mongering.

Hope people of the state have already made up their mind.

BSP played ringmaster of congress in Rajasthan but got hunted

0

At last the congress party has realized the truth that it can grow only when it eliminates the regional parties. For the congress party to earn some national status, it must fight ruthlessly against all regional parties and not BJP. Only when India is freed from regional politics, the country can be developed. The suffering and bad reputation that the congress party suffers today is due to its principle-less approach and partnership  to corruption mostly by several regional parties in UPA1 and 2 and it was beautifully justified by the then prime minister of India as ‘coalition compulsion’.

All the regional parties including the party of the dynast – the un-teachable Rahul Gandhi has only two or three slogans to utter, such as secularism, inclusive India, Hindutwa etc. Ironically today all the 6 BSP MLA’s in Rajasthan has merged with congress party by citing the same slogan that for the sake of uniting all secular forces, we are joining congress party. Today congress party has proven to be the real praying mantis, literally has preyed down BSP and the supreme ego of Mayawati.

Need of the hour is not an alliance between different political parties that oppose BJP and PM Modi as he is blocking every opportunity for them loot the nation, but they should fight with each other for space. Will Mayawati ever forgive and forget the butchery of the mandate of BSP in Rajhasthan by the Congress party? Should she ever align with congress or should she fight the congress party in future? Similarly if the congress party feels that it could stabilize its government by engaging in wholesale purchase of the BSP MLA’s, how can it be stable if it aligns with such fringe players in future?

The same wisdom congress also must show in dealing with DMK in Tamil Nadu. DMK is all time weak after Vellore election. The next assembly election is indeed an acid test for DMK than for other political parties because if DMK loses the next assembly election, that would be an end of DMK. Therefore DMK will be ready for any compromise which the congress party must capitalize.  Not only stake in the government, congress also must limit the DMK from contesting seats less than simple majority.

The above praying mantis approach of congress party in all probability is going scare all regional parties like TMC, SP, NCP etc. TMC has already started to show the signs of senescence and retreat and congress can easily demolish TMC. Congress has already diminished the left in Kerala. The regional parties also must realize the fact that a stable and strong congress is not good for them. Therefore the regional parties must push the congress to an insignificant position as congress lack leadership, ideology and honesty.

It was Mayawati who was serving lease of life to congress in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan but today congress has flushed Mayawati and her BSP out of Rajasthan by merging all 6 MLA’s of BSP with congress party.

The problem of congress party and other regional forces are one and the same. All of them are fighting for their identity and toe hold space in Indian politics. The stability congress party has achieved in Rajasthan by flushing BSP out of Rajasthan and at the same time such an effort also has indeed weakened the congress at national scene where all regional parties are going to be sceptical of congress party in future.

The interesting point is that how several beggars with empty hands can join together and share penury and poverty and can fight richness. The phrase beggar is used because none of the opposition parties including the congress party has any clear idea, agenda, leadership or honesty whereas PM Modi represents richness, honesty, transparency, newness, development and sab ka vikas.

The state where congress can really take the regional force to its size is Tamil Nadu. The vote bank of DMK in Tamil Nadu is predominantly of minority community. It is the congress party that is acting as glue to the above consolidation and hence if congress party makes hard bargain it can win. Even if congress loses it must focus of defeating the DMK if DMK doesn’t yield easily to congress party.

All regional parties must take a uniform stand to deal the congress party and only then they can grow. On the contrary, congress must either make the regional players to supplicate or else must play the role of spoil sport.

India as country stands with PM Modi because his governance is free of corruption, dynastic politics and nepotism. Development and sab ka vikas is the ultimate mission of Modi.

Main Mother Teresa banna chahti hoon

0

“I am an Atheist. I don’t believe in God”.
“I believe something is there, but don’t know what it is, but it is definitely not as we see in Church. “
“I am agnostic.”
“I respect all religions, but I don’t believe in God myself.”
“I believe all religions are good. I am a humanitarian.”

Such above are the views on God and religion of circa 35% of German population, circa 25% of French Population and circa 20% of EU population.

Religion is a soft taboo in discussions in Germany. Most often it comes out in conversations when we discuss Tax rules. When people declare themselves to be non-Christians, they do not pay Church Tax which is a sizeable component of their income.

When they do not pay Church Tax, they are not entitled to avail the services of the Church, like baptism, wedding ceremonies and such. Funny, isn’t it? I have personally got numerous invitations to attend Easter meeting and Christmas Mass from the Church workers; them having complete cognizance of the fact that I am not a Christian.

However, evasion of Church Tax is not the motivation behind people declaring themselves as non-Christians. Disillusioned with Church, its teachings and its controversies, rational thinking individuals declare themselves to be non-Christians. They take comfort in subscription to degrees of atheism, agnosticism and other popular philosophies denoting disenchantment and fallout with Church.

“You are following Sanatan Dharma. You just do not know it”, sometimes I tell them.
Sometimes they display more interest, prodding me to further elaborate,” The word Sanatan loosely translated means eternal. It is the natural way to be.”

Finally, I clarify that in popular language they are Hindus.

I am not authorized to convert anyone to Hinduism. However, don’t we believe that if the other person subscribes to your ideas and arguments, they are converted? One needs to win over a rational mind. I explain to them some prescribed ways to be one with God – Bhakti, Karma, Sewa and Dhyana; a rather simplified explanation. A concept that does find a lot of resonance with a good number of people is that of being a Karmayogi and serving through Karma. Are they not already converted?

Only an esteemed and learned Guru could coach, clear confusion and convert such people.
However, on a personal level I know that my relationship with God has seen myriad phases of delusion, detachment, devotion and diligence. I have been an atheist during some phases of my early life, but never had the urge to call myself an atheist; never needed to denounce my faith. It was merely a variation of my relationship with the ultimate truth; a relationship which was relevant and comforting at that phase of my life. The vastness and all-encompassing trait of Sanatan Dharma created space for me; or so I believed; and so, I tell them.

Not being deeply intellectual and thoroughly versed in scriptures sometimes helps, as the resistance of people to your ideas is low. It is easier to prod people into exploring Hinduism while discussing personal, relatable life experiences. Prod I do; and prodded they are.

I read the book by Aroop Chatterjee – “Mother Teresa:The Untold Story”.
I come across a rather inspiring passage in the book.
“In the homes for the dying, Mother taught the sisters how to secretly baptize those who were dying. Sisters were to ask each person in danger of death if he wanted a ticket to heaven. An affirmative reply was to mean consent to baptism. The sister was then to pretend that she was just cooling the person’s forehead with a wet cloth, while she was in fact baptizing him, saying quietly the necessary words. Secrecy was important so that it would not come to be known that Mother Teresa’s order was secretly baptizing Hindus and Muslims.”

I have a lot of admiration for Mother Teresa. She lowered the already low barrier to entry into the Christian fold. What could be simpler than having your forehead wiped with cool water and someone chanting some verses, more so when you are on your death bed and unmindful of what is going on?

I attempt to remove that barrier completely for a large number of people claiming to be atheists, agnostics or simply not believing in the dogmas of Abrahamic faiths. These alert, rational individuals are not aware that they might have subscribed to the teachings and philosophies of Hinduism. I might have initiated them without them being cognizant of it. Just like what Mother Teresa did; created Christians, who did not even know they were Christians as they lay dying.

She is a saintly role model. I try to do my bit.

It was important for the Mother to convert even by stealth, dying people into her fold. It is important for me that people know, understand and adopt Hinduism as the natural, neutral, eternal and organic way to be.

Once I hired a taxi driven by a driver from Albania. On knowing that I came from India, he said, “Ah. You must know Mother Teresa. She won the Nobel Prize for Peace. We are very proud of her”.

I could win the Nobel Prize. I learnt from Aroop Chatterjee‘s book that none from Kolkata proposed Mother Teresa’s name for the Nobel Prize. That could happen to me. No one from Kolkata would propose my name and I might win.

Maybe the Albanians would be proud of me too, if the Indians not so much.

PM Narendra Modi’s Birthday, A phone call changed the life of the ‘man with a 56-inch chest’

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday is being celebrated across the country. He was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar. PM Modi’s childhood was spent in poverty. He used to sell tea in childhood. Later he joined RSS and after that he continued to make his way and establish new positions in national and international scenario. Today, Modi is the most loved leader in the world. People praise him wherever he goes. When the war with Pakistan happened, Narendra Modi was a teenager. Narendra Modi started serving tea to the soldiers who were going to and returning from the war at the local railway station. Narendra Modi reportedly wanted to join the Sainik school in Jamnagar, but the financial condition of his family was such that it could not afford the fee. Modi joined  National Cadet Corps (NCC).

Narendra Modi joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1972. During his period there, he led the Navnirman anti-corruption agitation in 1974. He was also appointed as general secretary of an RSS committee- Gujarat Lok Sangharsh Samiti – coordinating opposition to the Emergency in Gujarat. Modi entered mainstream politics joining BJP in 1987, and was promoted as the General Secretary of the Gujarat unit within a year. He organised the Somnath to Ayodhya Rath Yatra of the then BJP chief L K Advani and the march from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, between 1988 and 1995. Same year Modi was appointed as the National Secretary of the party. He was elevated to the post of General Secretary in 1998, and held the position till 2001.

In 2001, veteran Congress leader Madhav Rao Scindia died in a plane crash. At that time Narendra Modi was living in Delhi. A journalist was also killed in the plane crash in which Congress leader Madhav Rao Scindia died. There was a crowd of people at the funeral of Madhav Rao Scindia. But very few people attended the funeral of that journalist. Modi then attended the journalist’s last visit instead of attending Scindia’s funeral. When Narendra Modi was present at the crematorium for the journalist’s funeral, he received a call from the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Vajpayee proposed Modi to be the CM of Gujarat. Which Modi accepted. Thus, after that one phone call, Narendra Modi became the CM of Gujarat in 2001 for the first time.

After that, Modi never looked back. He was the CM of Gujarat for three consecutive times. Then in 2014, Narendra Modi stepped into the Center politics and became the Prime Minister in the government of absolute majority. In his first term, he took many bold decisions in the interest of the country. Raised India’s value on the global stage. He made India an advanced nation.

Strengthened foreign policy. Set Indian culture on a global stage. Modi again became Prime Minister after completing a successful five-year term. This time the BJP became stronger than before. In his tenure so far, Modi took many bold decisions,i ncluding ending triple talaq, abolishing Article 370.

India needs Mossad-CIA like spy agency

0

Recently,CRPF inquiry finds Multiple lapses in India’s intelligence agencies led to Pulwama terror attack. Therefore India needs more intelligence (RAW) reforms.

First, like Mossad, intelligence services should be separate from India’s democratic institutions.

Mossad is exempt from the constitutional laws of the state of Israel and its director answers directly and only to the Prime Minister. Like Mossad Indian intelligence service has to separate from constitutional laws and report directly to Indian Prime Minister.

Low intelligence budget

Recently Former chief of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) Vikram Sood says, “USA’s investment in Intelligence is twice to that of India’s defence budget”. India should invest more on intelligence and cyber services. Israel is small country but Mossad annual budget is estimated to be around US$2.73 billion whereas RAW annual budget is classified but speculated to be around US$ 100-450 million only.

Recruitment to the RAW

Interestingly, the RAW is the only intelligence agency in India that includes members of the civil services. Most agencies around the world keep civil servant separate from intelligence gathering and analysis. Currently, the average age of an officer on deputation to join the RAW is 32 years and all recruited only from either from the civil services or army background this should be change also include young blood from different fields in intelligence services. Recently ex-RAW chief Vikram Sood told India’s intelligence agencies should pick young boys and girls after their Intermediate and train them according to the needs of the intelligence agencies. Like CIA,India too can utilize army officers and retired intelligence officers for campus recruitment across Indian universities for intelligence services. Recruits talented youth those interested in intelligence prog ram.

Look for good startup’s which help to intelligence

The US has In-Q-Tel, which is defined as the “strategic investor for the US intelligence and defense communities that identifies and adapts cutting- edge technologies.” Recently Mossad also looking for a good startup’s which helps to them. India should also establish this type strategic investor group for intelligence agency and look for good startup’s.

Curb quackery and cross pathy to minimize onslaught of Dengue virus

0

The growing incidence of Dengue outbreak is getting reported from several parts of India. Although the disease is caused by a virus, the horizontal communication in the population is being aided by a mosquito. A well proven drug for Dengue is far from near although several treatment options are available. Like all viral infections in general, Dengue is also to some extent, a self-limiting infection. But what really worsen the disease is the delayed diagnosis and treatment experiment mostly by those who are legally prohibited to prescribe allopathic drugs but are entitled to have the tag called ‘doctor’.

Government must prevent AYUSH entering into treating infections and infectious diseases.

Everyone knows that AYUSH does not have any proven recipe for any of the microbial infections. In strict sense, none of the AYUSH recipe would ever qualify the definition of drug if we every employ the drug definition of allopathic drugs. Therefore cross pathy and medical adventurism by several so called institutionally qualified AYUSH viadya by trespassing into allopathic practice is quite obvious.

Although the vaidya may claim that they have also studied pharmacology, biochemistry, anatomy etc., but the inclusion of the above course contents in the curriculum were only to auger their knowledge to understand how their recipe would work and how they should use the modern science to understand the fundamental principle of AYUSH (Siddha and Ayurveda), Tridosha– vata, pita and kapha. But instead of understating and fostering the relevance and importance of AYUSH in our society, some AYUSH vaidyas, especially some Siddha viadyas in Tamil Nadu often go for allopathic practice.

Unfortunately the knowledge about the names of the allopathic drugs they often dig out from the advertisement manual like CIMS. More often such misadventure not only cause mischarge of medical ethics but also results in medication health fraud. In the name of lack of sufficient qualified doctors in rural areas, we should not allow cross pathy and quackery to establish its kingdom in rural areas where people are poor, uneducated and quite gullible.

AYUSH is indeed a wonderful healing service.  Massage therapy, Yoga, Shirodhara are some of the paramedical therapies of AYUSH proven to have some benefit. Further AYUSH also offers plenty of recipes for healthy live, life filled with moral and spiritual values, various measures to be followed during different seasons, importance of right food and diet, exercise etc.

Our present day generation need AYUSH recipes and its paramedical therapy to remain healthy and happy. The holistic method of therapy of AYUSH, the vaidyas must promote and popularize instead of engaging in cross pathy and bring bad reputation to the system that thrived in our country for last several thousands of years.

Like Tuberculosis, all cases of infections and infectious diseases, the vaidya must be instructed to refer to the qualified doctor and only then we can make India healthy and can minimize disease burden. Through newly enacted clinical establishment bill, monitoring all those offenders is quite easy.

After several years of learning about Dengue epidemic and how disastrously we had managed the epidemic in the past, this year we must address the problem in the beginning itself by taking all appropriate measures. One of the important measures necessary to prevent miscarriage of medical ethics and medication health fraud is banning corss pathy by AYUSH vaidyas and the offenders must be punished severely.

When AYUSH obviously does not have proven therapy for infectious diseases, why should we let the AYUSH vaidyas to complicate the medical problem, both with wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment that is going to results in nothing but quackery.

In medicine it is often said that “prevention is better than cure”. So let us take all necessary preventive and precautionary measures such are curbing cross pathy by vaidyas to minimize the onslaught of Dengue virus.

The measures to bring down mosquito breeding taken by the government, creating awareness about the same etc., has really worked at the ground level. All such efforts may go waste if we do to keep watchful eye to prevent cross pathy by vaidyas.

Every system of healing practice has certain merits and demerits. AYUSH is a wonderful paramedical aid so if we let AYUSH to work as supporting system in offering paramedical benefits to the patients who is on treatment with allopathic medicine, certainly our patients would benefit.

Besides having nursing and other paramedical stall like physiotherapy, AYUSH vaidyas also can be accommodated by MBBS doctors to provide various paramedical services of AYUSH in the big hospitals. Such integration can be achieved only when the AYUSH system accepts the final truth that AYUSH can offer only paramedical benefit to the patients.
