Sharad Pawar exposed the dishonesty and putra moh of Shiv Sena using the alliance dharma of NCP-INC in all consultations and decision making

0

Sharad Pawar has thoroughly exposed the dishonesty and greed of Shiv Sena to make own son as Chief Minister of Maharashtra and to achieve the above goal, how Shiv Sena has betrayed the mandate of people.

From the beginning NCP chief as well as the congress leadership re-iterated the fact that both NCP and INC contested election as alliance partner and hence they would discuss the issue of supporting or sharing power with Shiv Sena only jointly and all decisions also shall be taken jointly and never individually. The above political stand of NCP and INC maintained from the beginning has made it loud and clear to the public that Shiv Sena had contested the election along with BJP as an alliance partner and projected Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister face of the alliance and won the majority and then Shiv Sena broke the alliance due to its Putra Moh.

The alliance partners of NDA to UPA or vice versa leaving the alliance during election season is quite common. Although such migration is criticized but at pre-poll level, if the parties shift their sides, no great criticism, we can attribute to such stand.  Similarly when the political group fail miserably in election, leaving the alliance by certain partners is also quite common.

But contesting the election as an important alliance partner and then the alliance having won the majority to form government, the important alliance partner ditching the alliance out of putra moh and joining hands with those political forces that were bitterly opposed during election is a new shocking political culture, Shiv Sena has not only inaugurated but also has introduced in Indian politics. This dangerous political culture, India must defeat and all those supported also must be show the door permanently.

NCP and INC has repeatedly exposed the dishonesty of Shiv Sena, made them feel ashamed and look silly when Shiv Sena had rushed to the Governor’s residence to stake claim with the hope that the letter of support from both NCP and INC would come straight to Governor’s residence and finally the suspicious act of NCP directing a possible secret understanding with the centre; where much before the time given to NCP ends, the party had given letter to the Governor that the party needs more time so that such claim would be rejected by the Governor and that would facilitate the central government to impose President’s rule in Maharashtra so that the business of bargain can be done more rigorously with Shiv Sena……..all these points toward only one direction that Shiv Sena must behave obediently and must remain faithful and loyal listener, must exhibit patience etc., if it wants fulfil its Putra Moh.

Now Shiv Sena has no choice but to follow its master NCP and save its face.

Shiv Sena cannot go back to BJP as Amit Shah has said it clearly that BJP had never given any such promise and BJP-Shiv Sena fought election under Devendra Fadnavis and hence the desire of Udhav Thackeray to make his son Adithya Thackeray as Chief Minister of Maharashtra cannot be accepted because people of Maharashtra has elected Fadnavis and not Adithya Thackeray.

Further the democracy. People’s mandate and the ethos of political parties should not be meant to fulfil personal ambitions and family needs of a particular family but to develop the state and achieve sab ka vikas.

Already Shiv Sena has seen its peril.  NCP and INC has repeatedly evoked the sense that they follow alliance dharma and hence would consult and decide jointly but Shiv Sena has broken the alliance and betrayed the mandate of people. Today Shiv Sena is in a state of utter helplessness and it can’t swallow nor can spit out the dirty politics that it had started and has to live with pain until death.

People of India are not going to forgive the butchery of democracy by Shv Sena for its personal greed and wish.  Similarly the congress party is doing nothing but moving from devil to deep sea by aligning with Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena, when comes to power, it doesn’t want to follow its hard core Hindutwa ideology and similarly congress party when comes to power, will not follow the so called secular principles and minority right.

India can be saved only if all Indians re-trace our great Hindu cultural identity and support Modi and BJP unconditionally. Let us make India Ram Rajya with sacred Hindu culture and tradition.

Hindus should think seriously about this

On 9th November 2019, Supreme Court of India announced the verdict on 490+ years old dispute about Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Since then there is a deluge of reactions from all secularists as well as Muslims from various quarters. The famous TV Anchor & writer wrote in Washington Post “What India owes its Muslim citizens after the Ayodhya temple verdict”, Muslims have accepted verdict, The judgement is on the basis of Faith, to forget History & move on. Some people asking now, “Are Hindus going to demand about Kashi & Mathura”. Some are quoting PLACES OF WORSHIP (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1991.

But the real reactions of Muslims came from Assaudin Owassi “I want my Masjid Back” or some demanding 5 Acres of land in the same 67 Acres complex of Ram Janma Bhumi.

The point to be noted here is that even after 490+ years dispute & pitched battle in the Supreme Court about the evidences shown about the Historicity, these people are yet not convinced that Babri Mosque was built destroying a Hindu Temple. Muslims have inflicted terrible atrocities on Hindus for their belief system. These people are able to do this because most common people particularly common Muslims (even Hindus) do not know the History or many a times the History is deliberately white washed.

Mr. Prafulla Gordia in his book “Hindu Mosque” has listed so many places where the remains of this destruction due to theology of Islam are visible overtly even today. Look at this Gyanvapi Mosque. The fourth wall of the Mosque clearly shows that it is built using a wall of Temple. But have we seen any Muslim or secularist apologetic about it even today?

Everybody will tell you to forget History and move on. But we have to remember that as recently as in 1947, this country was divided in to two parts on the basis of religion. As recent as 1991 Hindus in Kashmir were ethnically cleansed only because of their beliefs. The India that we know today is the remaining portion of India that has shrunk from Afghanistan or beyond to today’s political India. And even that is on target of Muslim fundamentalists or secularists like Owassi or Pakistan.

Till the parliament changes the “PLACES OF WORSHIP (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1991” Hindus should demand that at each of the identified and verified places, where ever it is known beyond doubt that the Mosque is built on a temple, a Prominent Board by the act of Parliament, is put up mentioning “This place was an original Temple of Hindus of God so & so on which this Mosque is built on date so and so by so and so.” Like in above case of Gyanvapi Mosque “This place was an original Hindu Temple of Kashi Vishwanath on which this Mosque is built in 1664 by Aurangzeb” This will keep visitors as well as worshipers who go there for worship about the original History of the place.

The Jews have created Holocaust Museums all over the world that keeps Jews and the other world reminding of atrocities inflicted on them. That keeps reminding mankind the terrible things happened in the past. Sages have said “Those who do not know their past, have bleak Future”

People will think twice before saying “What India owes its Muslim citizens after the Ayodhya temple verdict” or “I want my Mosque back”.

Barkha Dutt should write “What India Muslim citizens owe to Hindus after the Ayodhya temple verdict”.

Adamant dynast who wants to remain ‘UN-TEACHABLE’, no amount of defeats is going to help Congress party

0

All great men in the past had endured great struggle, faced criticism and treachery and finally the great men became victorious because they always followed the path of truth, honesty and dharma.

From that perspective the journey of our dear Prime Minister of India- Narendra Modi from an ordinary, pauper tea seller to Prime Minister of India, every Indian must learn and get inspired. Modi has undergone several personal criticism, abuse and treachery hatched by congress party.  But he came victorious because he always stood with truth, believed firmly in corruption free governance, focused on development of the country, sab ka vikas, national security etc. PM Modi also opposed dynastic politics, nepotism and the culture of sycophancy because dynastic politics is the mother of corruption.

Lord Krishna and Lord Ram too suffered greatly at the hands of several evil forces but they endured all the odds to protect dharma, truth and humanity. PM Modi in fact rank equals to all those divine forces, testifies the message of truth and development in world politics.

On the contrary the Indian National Congress party led by one family and its un-teachable dynast remain adamant not to learn anything from its repeated defeats but wants to continue the same old corrupt, divisive, lie and hate ridden politics and politics of minority appeasement.

It is mentioned in the history that the independence of Scotland as a country was led by its then king Robert Bruce. Interestingly Robert Bruce got his inspiration from the tireless efforts and confidence of a spider as it was trying again and again to spin its web in a cave where the weather was continuously impeding the attempt of the spider and finally how the spider had won its mission.

Even a spider knows the importance of hard work; tireless spirit and honesty are the necessary ingredients for success. But the dynast and the congress party still believes in attacking and abusing Modi is the best way for success.

The dynast once called PM Modi chor with the freedom being granted to him (bail gadi) by the court against corruption case in National Herald. The dynast attributed even the Honourable Supreme Court of India has stated ‘Chor’ rhetoric and when Supreme Court intervened, tendered an unconditional apology. But again he continued his story of calling PM Modi chor and created noise pollution by crying out in public that there is a big scam in Rafale deal.

The Honourable Supreme Court of India had rejected the petition of the so called self- declared intellectuals, the end point of honesty and born- patriots by clearly stating that court cannot order inquiry based on the perception so a few individuals. Virtually no scam in Rafale deal and Modi is honest and has done no wrong.

The judgment of Honourable Supreme Court of India is indeed victory of truth and defeat of a lie being promoted by certain evil forces. But even after defeat, unfortunately all those negative forces and the party of the dynast are claiming there is a scam.

The question is when the congress party and its un-teachable dynast would learn some politics and start to speak truth to India. Congress party is going to hit the last nail in its own coffin by aligning with Shiv Sena to grab power. Ironically both Shiva Sena and Congress were fighting to finish each other until election was over in Maharashtra but now they have decided to join together so that they can self-perish in a sweet way where neither the congress nor Shiv Sena have to blame each other when they are buried under the rumbles of history.

At least in politics in the last 4 decades in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena and Congress could not work together but now they have decided at least in death, we shall work together and die together.

India must stand united to support PM Modi and Amit Shah to save India from corrupt, dynastic forces. People should give decisive mandate to BJP and must defeat all regional forces only then BJP can form a stable government in all states and New India can be built around honesty, development and sab ka vikas.

At national level, the congress party of the dynast must be defeated and at regional levels, many regional forces work against the ethos of one India and one cultural heritage called Hinduism. Let us expose the negative, divisive politics all those tukde tukde gangs and shall repose our trust and hope in Modi and let us save India.

How did Hinduism survive multiple invasions by Islamic and Christian Invaders?

0

Hinduism, unlike other religions (Western term used- do note that Hinduism is not a “religion” as per practical thinking), is not comprised of any central authority or core figure/books. Adding Hinduism under the category of “religion” is itself considered as an intellectual crime by those who understand the meaning and philosophies of most Hindu faiths.

The word “Hindu” originates from the entry of Arabs in India, who had a keen interest in the rich spices and metals which had made India famous around the globe. The word “Hind” was a prefix used for the geographical stretch that extended beyond the Sindh river which is now flowing in Pakistan. India was referred to as “Hindustan”, which meant the land of the Hindus.

In this context, the word “Hindu” was used as a reference to the local people who followed the variety of indigenous traditions along the stretch of modern day India and Pakistan. This made “Hinduism” more of a cultural identity, than a religion. A quick look into the modern history textbooks would make you notice that it is difficult to erase the cultural identity of people, even though it may have faced centuries of foreign invasion by the Mughals and Europeans. The invaders who attacked India slowly began to assimilate with the locals and adopted some of the traditions which were followed by the indegenious people, and that too despite the rigid blasphemy and Apostasy laws which are prevalent and punishable by death in many Abrahamic religions, particularly Islam.

In fact, if you compare Bahadur Shah Zafar’s administration conduct with that of traditional Arabic conduct, you’d notice that the Mughals had themselves begun to slowly assimilate with the locals of India (and slowly become “Hindus”) and a vast distinction was starting to emerge. At the time of Emperor Akbar the first, a new language began to evolve which we today call “Hindustani”. The original script of this language was Persian, but the vocabulary of it was derived from various indegenious languages such as Sanskrit, Maithili, Bhojouri and Khadi Boli (others also include Punjabi, Bengali and Arabic).

Another important point to discuss is the propping up of numerous rebellions under the Islamic Empires, which did not permit any empire to stretch their territory to the Southern tip of India. Even though some empires managed to conquer a few kingdoms in the Deccan-South, it never really lasted long due to the rebellions from within as well as outside the empire’s administration. The Islamic population from the Middle East were mainly concentrated in the urban areas and the capital city, where the Emperor needed them for official work. The large chunk of the population were still local Hindus who had no intention to continue paying the Jaziya tax or face scrutiny for visiting their pilgrimage sites.

The Islamic empires typically ended at the Deccan plateau of India, and failed to penetrate futher into the south.

Hindu culture emerged as the soul of India, the core values of it snowballed into Indian-ism. The word “Indian” and “Hindu” became synonyms of each other. This became the base of a new ideology that took shape in the political landscape of our country which shaped the thought-process of a large number of youth within India- Hindutva.

When compared to the Western religions, the Hindus have had the most flexible belief system which is hard to replicate if you want to create a western “religion”. There are no strict rules on who or what you want to worship in this category of indegenious faiths; in fact, many of the revolutionaries in India have been Hindu atheists, and are still revered across India!

As an Indian revolutionary, freedom fighter and freethinker, Veer Savarkar was a well-known atheist who became instrumental in the creation of the Hindutva ideology. He became the forefront of the non-Congress opposition to the British rule in India. Savarkar created a secret society that assassinated key British officers in an attempt to avenge the deaths of many freedom fighters that died protesting against British rule.

His contributions are still considered legendary by many Hindus throughout the country.

Who were the most unfortunate people in modern Indian history?

0

From July 1989 to 1990 there were a series of attacks on Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley where lakhs of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits were displaced from their homes through an organised exodus by Islamic terror organisations such as Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF). During this course of time, there was rising Islamic terrorism, with the demand being to cede Kashmir valley to Pakistan. The planned massacre is believed to have started on 19th September 1989, when the Bharatiya Janata Party advocate Pandit Tika Lal Taploo was murdered in plain sight by Islamic militants/terrorists.

This led to a series of violence and crime around the Kashmir valley; Soon after Taploo’s death, Nilkanth Ganjoo, a judge of Srinagar High court who had sentenced Maqbul Bhat to death, was also shot dead by the terrorists. The militants stooped to such low levels that they kidnapped former Union minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed’s daughter and demanded the release of 5 imprisoned militants.

The climax of this exodus happened on 4th January 1990, when Srinagar based newspaper Aftab published a warning on it’s newspaper that if the Kashmiri Pandits din’t vacate their homes and leave the valley immediately, they would be converted to Islam or would be subjected to the barbaric Sharia law which is infamously known to persecute non-Muslims in Islamic countries.

During this exodus, the electricity of the entire valley was cut, except in the cases of mosques, where inflammatory speeches and posters were put up against Kashmiri Pandits. Throughout these sequence of events, armed men terrorised the Hindu residents and vandalised ancient temples. The Congress party led government at that time had explicitly refused to investigate this ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits, which till date are living in absolute poverty and struggling to make ends meet. The only political parties that helped the Kashmiri Pandits at that crucial time were Hindutva based parties such as Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party.

When the mass exodus of Kashmiri pandits happened, Late Balasaheb Thackeray of the Shiv Sena announced that the Kashmiri Pandit students would be provided reservations in all Engineering colleges in Maharashtra. The International media seems to have completely forgotten this incident while continuing to ponder over the growing concern for the rise of Muslim population in India, which also tends to increase anti-national activities due to them being prone to radicalisation because of poverty. The media has been continuously blaming the present NDA government over growing hatred for Muslims in India while forgetting the recent history of the country. The Congress party was more concerned to provide Rohingya Muslims shelter in India, the same community that had killed thousands of Hindu villagers in Myanmar. The Hindutva based parties are constantly demonised by the media for talking about the welfare of Kashmiri Pandits, while political parties like All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) which advocate the mass killings of Hindus in India (They had already done so in Telangana by starting a private militia named “Razakars” in 1947)  are portrayed as champions of minority welfare.

In June 2015, the NDA government increased the cash relief given to these Kashmiri refugees from Rs.1,650 per person per month to Rs.2,500 per person per month, subject to the ceiling of Rs.10,000 per month for each family. The NDA government includes political parties such as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Shiv Sena (till November 2019), which have been instrumental in providing relief to Kashmiri Hindus. New relief schemes are periodically announced for Kashmiri Pandits by the NDA led Central government.

Has the Hindu holocaust/genocide been forgotten by modern Historians?

0

The Hindu Exodus under the Islamic Empires has been strategically ignored by most Historians when it comes to framing historical records, leave alone popularising it.

The Hindu Exodus in India began with the entry of Mahumad Ghazni (who vandalized temples in the North and North-Western region of India), and later escalated during the Ghaznavid Dynasty post-998 CE (Source- Saunders, Kenneth (1947). A Pageant of India). It was initially the growing activities of Islamic missionaries who started to convert the locals of Thrissur, Kerala in the guise of Arab traders. Though the missionary work received minor success, the Islamic Caliphate wasn’t satisfied with the slow rate of conversions; leading to the introduction of Jaziya tax on Non-Muslim ‘Infidels’’ to extort money from those who didn’t willingly subscribe to the Islamic ideology in Muslim kingdoms in India.

As per reports from the Archaeological Survey of India, thousands of temples were razed during this dark phase of Indian History (1206 CE – 1857 CE). Temples were replaced by mosques and the locals were made to swallow the “inferiority” of their faith, and the “helplessness” of their Gods since the temples could be broken despite being called “homes of the deities”.

In the 17th Century CE, the fanatic tyrant was born in the Mughal dynasty named Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb was a vicious Jihadist who had utter hatred for the local culture and art. He was the third eldest son of Shah Jahan, and became the emperor after killing his brothers and imprisoning his father. Aurangzeb’s reign is known to be the most horrific and darkest period of Indian History, where the Mughals went all out on local Hindu civilians. It was also the period of Hindu resistance where a massive number of Hindu revolutionaries such as Shivaji, Sikhs and Rajputs resisted the persecution by Aurangzeb.

Aurangzeb had committed the greatest crimes in Human history, with the deaths of millions of Hindu civilians on his hands. Known to have memorised the Quran, Aurangzeb had his army raped, tortured and forcefully converted millions of Hindus to Islam in an attempt to visit heaven after death. During his rule, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj organised a rebellion in the Maratha region of Deccan India using guerrilla warfare techniques. (Source-Pletcher, Kenneth, ed. (2010). The History of India)

In 1670, Aurangzeb had ordered his army to convert the Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir valley by force, to which Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh had bitterly opposed. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sindh challenged the decision of Aurangzeb, and told him that the Kashmiri Pandits would only convert their religion if Aurangzeb managed to convert Guru Tegh Bahadur to Islam. Thereafter, a series of torture techniques were used on Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh, with his associated being executed in gruesome ways before his eyes. Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh did not budge despite his closest friends being killed before him, and yet refused to convert to Islam. On the orders of the emperor, Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh was decapitated, and his head sawed off in public. It is believed that during this heartbreaking incident, the only words that were uttered from Guruji’s tongue was “Waheguruji”. (Source-Sehgal Narender (1994). Converted Kashmir: Memorial of Mistakes)

“Tegh Bahadur, the ninth successor of (Guru) Nanak became a man of authority with a large number of followers. (In fact) Several thousand persons used to accompany him as he moved from place to place. His contemporary Hafiz Adam, a faqir belonging to the group of Shaikh Ahmad Sirhindi’s followers, had also come to have a large number of murids and followers. Both these men (Guru Tegh Bahadur and Hafiz Adam) used to move about in Punjab, adopting a habit of coercion and extortion. Tegh Bahadur used to collect money from Hindus and Hafiz Adam from Muslims. The royal waqia navis (news reporter and intelligence agent) wrote to the Emperor Alamgir [Aurangzeb] of their manner of activity, added that if their authority increased they could become even refractory.”

— Ghulam Husain, Mughal Empire records

In 1689, the eldest son of Shivaji Maharaj and the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Kingdom, Sambhaji Maharaj was executed by Aurangzeb on his refusal to bow down to Aurangzeb and convert to Islam. When asked to convert, Sambhaji Maharaj reportedly told Aurangzeb that he’d only convert to Islam if he’s married to Aurangzeb’s daughter. Furious with the reply of Sambhaji Maharaj, Aurangzeb ordered the public execution of Sambhaji Maharaj. The Second Chatrapati had his eyes and tongue plucked out, nails pulled and head cut off with an axe. As per Maratha accounts, Sambhaji Maharaj uttered “Har Har Mahadev” while being executed by the devil incarnate. (Source- Narrated by S. B. Bhattacherje on 1 May 2009 as per Maratha Records).

In the southern part of the country, Tipu Sultan (who is wrongly portrayed as a national hero) had started another campaign against the ‘infidels’, with Harihareshwar Temple at Harihar, Varahswami temple in Srirangapatna and the Odakaraya Temple in Hospet being razed to the ground. At a fort in Seringapatam, the following was inscribed on a stone:

“Oh Almighty God! dispose the whole body of infidels! Scatter their tribe, cause their feet to stagger! Overthrow their councils, change their state, destroy their very root! Cause death to be near them, cut off from them the means of sustenance! Shorten their days! Be their bodies the constant object of their cares (i.e., infest them with diseases), deprive their eyes of sight, make black their faces (i.e., bring shame).”

In 1788, Tipu had reportedly ordered his governor in Calicut to begin the forceful conversion of Hindus. By July 1788, 200 Brahmins were forcefully made to eat beef made of cow meat and converted at the tip of the sword. The Nishan-e-Haidari places a number of 70,000 Hindus being made to convert under Tipu Sultan with forced circumcision and force-feeding of beef to Hindus.

In the 14th Century CE, Sultan Sikandar Butshikan of Kashmir began the mass-murder of Kashmiri Pandits, with him ordering his commanders to break all the idols and temples that they find. As per Tareek-i-Firishta, many del respecting Brahmins decided to kill themselves by consuming poison than have their religion forcefully converted by these barbaric invaders. Many Kashmiri Hindu articles that could be called as masterpieces were destroyed during this period.

“Many of the Brahmins, rather than abandon their religion or their country, poisoned themselves; some emigrated from their native homes, while a few escaped the evil of banishment by becoming Mahomedans. After the emigration of the Bramins, Sikundur ordered all the temples in Kashmir to be thrown down. Having broken all the images in Kashmir, (Sikandar) acquired the title of ‘Destroyer of Idols”

In 1543, the King of Portugal on the request of St. Francis Xavier performed an inquisition in Goa, where Hindus were buried under hot burning tar, nails broken and put “on the wheel” (the “wheel” was an instrument that crushed the bones of the victim after tying them to a wheel like structure). (Source- L’Inquisition De Goa)

In 1947, when Sardar Vallabhai Patel began uniting all Indian princely states, the Nizam of Hyderabad sanctioned the creation of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (the current president of AIMIM is Assaudin Owaisi), which raised a group of Islamic barbarians named the “Razakars”. The Razakars raised a private militia and invaded Hindu settlements of rural Telegana and  massacred, killed, raped and converted thousands of Hindu civilians. This was done in an attempt to ensure Hyderabad becomes a part of Pakistan. (Source- History and Culture of Andhra Pradesh: From the Earliest Times to 1991, New Delhi: Sterling Publishers, 2012)

These historical events have been ignored by most of the modern day Historians for their own political ambitions.

The History textbooks that we study in school only dedicated a few pages for the brave warriors who protected their dharma despite being put under the most gruesome tortures that humankind has ever seen, while dedicated 7–8 chapters for the Mughals and the empires of other Islamic invaders.

It’s time we realise that we are Hindu because our ancestors were not cowards, and didn’t have the greed of money or grains to sell their dharma.

Be proud of your ancestry, be proud of your dharma.

Never forget what your ancestors have been through to protect our tradition and culture.

Shiv Sena stands exposed like no other political party

Shiv Sena stands exposed thoroughly, as the most unprincipled political party among all the unprincipled ones. The desperation of S.S. was such that they complied with the pre conditions laid by NCP and INC. Their only representative in the Union Cabinet, Mr. Arvind Savant, Minister for Heavy Industries, quit the Cabinet and S.S. is no longer part of NDA. Even as the President accepted the resignation of Arvind Savant, the Maharashtra Governor concluded that the opportunity given to S.S., second in line, after BJP, to form the Government was a non starter. He went to NCP as next in the queue. NCP went through the motions before President’s rule under Art.356 of Constitution became inevitable.

It is singularly unfortunate that despite the BJP-S.S. combine, a pre election alliance, making it past the first post of 50% of 288 seats in the Assembly, Government formation has failed. S S is solely to blame for this constitutional impasse. And now reports suggest that SS is moving the Supreme Court protesting the acts of the Governor and purportedly denying them ‘sufficient time while BJP was granted longer leeway, which was discriminatory’. A party whose supremo Balasaheb Thackeray was suspended from voting and contesting in elections for 6 years by orders of the Supreme Court (1998), is now invoking constitutional means to vindicate their rights. And then forget not, the Bombay High Court had imposed a fine/simple imprisonment for contempt of court  for accusations of corruption against a Judge(1997), despite prohibition. And it is this party that is today seeking to approach the top court in exercise of their constitutional rights.

While it is entertaining to follow the goings on, it is an utterly shameful and unhealthy dance of democracy. Media is having a field day in 24×7 coverage of following the leaders who are ready, willing and eager to open their loud mouths wider at the sight of the cacaphonic megaphones thrust at them. It is amusing at one level to see that every other political outfit, be it BJP, NCP, INC or S.S. and other smaller ones accusing each other of indulging in skulduggery and horse trading to capture power of the ballot.

Our votes matter. Yes, BJP led by Modi-Shah at the helm were cocksure that Devendra Fadnavis would be back with a bang with a majority for BJP itself. Voters had the last laugh, by returning BJP-S.S. combine with a reduced majority. To ensure that one was a check on the other and either did not run amok with their individual agendas. There was also a huge number elected from NCP- Congress ranks, for a healthy opposition count. Assembly was meant to be a debating house, with the opposition having a say in the affairs of the State. That was ensured.

But S.S. had and has other ideas. For the first time, breaking from Matoshree tradition, Aditya Thackeray contested and won from Worli. Balasaheb and Uddhav have never been on the ballot,  as they were past masters in remote control or back seat driving. Enjoying the reins of administration without accountability. They were used to the comforts of extra constitutional routine. Alas, when the family pivoted to occupy the Gaddi, it was snapped from their grasp.

SS got furious. They claimed that BJP which has nearly twice the number by seats of S.S. had agreed to share the Chief Minister post on 50:50 or rotational basis a la Mayawati-Rajnath Singh UP style and B.S. Yeddyurappa- HD Kumaraswamy- Karnataka style gone awry. BJP was unrelenting. Having fallen short of the majority and being the largest single party by a mile, from S.S., and Fadnavis having had a 5 year uninterrupted term, BJP was unyielding, with some credible basis.

SS could not digest it. Both sides stuck to the guns and game theory parameters were stretched to limits. BJP blinked and said No. SS ran to INC via NCP, eating crow and all the ignominy associated with it. We the People know that politicians today follow Groucho Marx- If you don’t like this or that principle I offer, I have others on offer to suit you. It is all focused on pelf and self aggrandisement with grab for power,  at all costs, with compromises, on whatever it takes.

SS has plunged the depths of nadir. They stand nanga not warts and all. But all warts. The other political parties are not pure and snow. But SS has achieved the near impossible. Making them look ‘principled’. That is some ask and task. The deep dive that SS has accomplished is never before seen one. The one time a Thackeray stood in the elections and won, the family is unable to accept that he cannot make it as Chief Minister. The family and hangers on are fuming. They blame BJP for the stalemate. They went with a begging bowl to others and lost out on the Central Ministry post also. It appears as if it was a conspiracy  by all other political parties. to thoroughly isolate  SS, for what it is and what it stands for.

There is a lesson in it for us as Voters. Among the unprincipled political outfits which contest elections with candidates rivaling in criminal antecedents ,as Cho Ramaswami said, “Voters have a dark and dismal choice. To choose between and pickpocket and dacoits. And then we have to pick on principles and ideologies associated with it. Nevertheless, we trust our candidates and keep voting them in. That we say is the strength of our democracy’.

Surely, the SS dance of democracy is unrivaled. It has bested the drama we had in the aftermath of demise of Madam Jayalalitha and Koovathur resort episodes. SS has trumped the shenanigans of our TN politicos by a long shot, considering that just 55 in a house of 288 members they could go for the jugular and claim to have been deprived of a legitimate chance. And their moving the apex court ‘to  vindicate their constitutional rights’ takes the cake.

Trust deficit and insecurity had driven MK Stalin, the owner of DMK to become a self-notarized dictator

0

In the recent meeting, the dynast president of DMK has furthered his power and authority in the party by becoming the general secretary of the party as well. DMK is a family driven enterprise and therefore every decision in DMK is made only by the members of one family.

If DMK cadres agrees to such culture and politics and still wants to continue in DMK with the hope of power one day, what else people can say other than simple all the best wish.

Even after becoming the president of DMK it looks like MK Stalin is not feeling secured. The General Secretary post was held by Anbazhagan but due to his age and poor health, he wants to be relieved of from the position. There are several senior leaders in DMK like Durai Murugan, TN Nehru etc., and some of the senior leader could have been made the General Secretary of DMK. But the DMK had changed its by-laws accordingly to make MK Stalin as General Secretary as well of the party. Now MK Stalin holds both the post of President and General Secretary of DMK. Interestingly MK Stalin is also the Chief Ministerial face of DMK. It looks like MK Stalin become judge, jury and executioner of the party. We have to wait for a while to see whether Stalin alone remains as the only cadre of the party as well.

It is all about fear. The fear is bound to occur when the quality and merit are not there with the leader who led the party. Any great leader can be different from the rest only when the leader display his or her exemplary vision and connect with people of the state. Amma, MGR, EPS are the best examples for great leaders.

Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are the two such honest, decisive and assertive leaders ever India has seen since independence. Today entire India is after PM Modi because of his corruption free, development centric governance and his commit to ensure sub ka vikas.

It looks like Stalin sees more danger from within DMK than from AIADMK or from others. All decision making powers in DMK, Stalin does not want to give to others and instead he wants to retain either to himself or to the members of his family. The above fear and insecurity are sufficient to defeat DMK.

The recent statement of MK Stalin that he would become an autocrat in DMK is nothing new but sending a clear message that DMK is ownership based enterprise, has clear owner, succession plan and its key customers are voters and not the office bearers.

All the office bearers are nothing by employees in a corporate with different designations and decision making authority. Other than that, the owner’s voice is final. Who is the owner of DMK also Stalin told clearly in the meeting.

Stalin also openly admitted that he is no match for M Karunanidhi, not a great orator, writer or Tamil Scholar. However he is the owner of the party and he has legally inherited DMK from his father as paternal gift. Therefor do not compare me with Karunanidhi or say I am far too less than Karunanidhi but remember I am the owner of DMK.

In a sense, Stalin has nailed the right point that owner needs not be competent, highly qualified, talented, smart but still he shall remain powerful over everyone because he is the owner of the enterprise.

MK Stalin appears to have made it clear to the office bearers of the party that they should view Stalin not as a leader like how they used to connect with Karunanidhi but realize the truth that Stalin is the owner of DMK and hence he holds the final say in the party.

Owners demand their employees to work for the organization and not to the society. The new approach of Stalin to appoint nearly one lakh party workers in various posts looks like what most owners of any enterprise would do.

Party, the power within the party, ownership proving etc., only looks like matters to DMK. The question before the state is that whether they need such political force to rule the state? If the answer is not, then people must wake up to the impending danger and must start working for BJP to save the state.

Between Stalin and EPS, EPS is the great leader with no comparison. Between the two, the electorates can close their eyes, deafen the ears and shut the thinking and can choose EPS over Stalin. The decision will be not only perfect but also intelligent.

Tamil Nadu was a land of great Bhakti tradition, divine worship and in a sense a land blessed by God. But Dravidian politics of EV Ramasamy Naicker and partly by DMK, the Bhakti tradition of the state has been destroyed and anti-God, anti-Hindu rhetoric has been perpetuated and Hindu Gods and Hindu festivals alone were abused and mocked selectively as a part of a well-orchestrated minority appeasement politics by DMK.

Hope people of the state will realize the bitter truth that dynastic politics will not do any good to the state except it can only breed corruption, nepotism and sycophancy. Let us make the state great by defeating all dynastic forces.

Look at the sad state of affairs in Maharashtra where Shiv Sena chief has jettison the state’s interest and people’s mandate just for his son become chief minister of Maharashtra. Do we need such politics unfolded in Tamil Nadu also?

The real reason why Shiv Sena is keen to align with NCP in Maharashtra

BJP went out of its way to accomodate Shiv Sena in the just concluded Maharashtra assembly elections by agreeing to Sena’s request for a bigger share in the seat allocation. The fact that Sena didn’t counter BJP and Fadnavis’ aggressive campaign ‘Mee Parat Yetoy’ (I am returning as CM) says that the Sena too on its part was quite flexible prior to the elections but suddenly changed its tune as the election results were out. What really happened between the pre and post election scenarios that made Sena change its tune so dramatically and feel confident enough to align with NCP and Congress, brazenly disrespecting the joint mandate they got with the BJP. On the face of it Sena put up CMship as an excuse but given their numbers and that too in coalition with the BJP, even the staunchest of Shiv Sainiks would have found it very hard to believe in their party leadership’s claim on the post. What must have triggered this new alignment thinking in Sena leadership? Here is my perspective:

The answer lies in Maharashtra’s caste politics. Maharashtra has 3 dominating caste groupings- 1) Marathas 2) Dalits and 3) OBCs. Like all major communities in India, at any given point in time, the political choices of the Marathas too are being driven by either of nationalism or regionalism or casteism. With some exceptions here and there, generally the section of the community driven by the dominant nationalistic considerations have aligned themselves with the BJP, those with an over bearing regional leanings traditionally have aligned with Shiv Sena but of late have also been drifting towards Raj Thackeray’s MNS and finally those driven by the over-riding caste allegiance have naturally aligned with NCP and Congress. In the recently concluded assembly elections, caste considerations seem to have over powered the nationalistic and regional considerations within the community.

Since the formation of Samyukta Maharashtra in sixtees, Marathas owing to their numerical strength, have been the dominant players in Maharshatra’s power politics and have traditionally aligned with the Congress party for a long period of time. Thackeray and Pawar both belong to the same community. Pawar assumed the leadership mantle of his community from Late Sh. Yashwantrao Chavan (another Maratha), while he was in the Congress in the seventees and formed a coalition govt. Later, he left the Congress party to form his own regional outfit called Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which is known in Maharashtra politics as a Maratha party, owing to its strong support base in the community and also due to its politics being largely centred around that community alone.

Aging Pawar (80 years old) has been on a lookout for some time now to find a successor and pass on his caste legacy. His nephew Ajit, apparently was the chosen one earlier but due to Pawar family’s internal feud involving Supriya Sule, Ajit has probably fallen out with his uncle. This was the time a few years ago when Pawar started promoting Raj Thackarey actively, sending strong signals to his community that Raj along with Supriya could be his successors. This wasn’t as threatening to Udhhav then, till the assembly election results came out, primarily because Uddhav (and even BJP) took the aging Pawar as a spent force in Maharashtra politics. In the post-election scenario, seeing the way the community has stood behind Pawar (despite Fadnavis having ensured the caste based quota/reservations to the community), especially in the Maratha bastion of western Maharshtra region, the Maratha caste vote bank has suddenly become all too important for Uddhav. This election has probably opened Sena’s eyes to this caste vote bank like never before. Given this, Pawar projecting Raj must have made Uddhav bit wary and insecure, knowing that if the Pawar patronage to Raj continues, he may well end up hugely benefitting from the Maratha community votebank, in the process not only resurrecting Raj’s almost defunct MNS but also undercutting Sena’s voter base (which also happens to be the same Maratha community).

By aligning with NCP, Uddhav is eyeing a couple of things 1) to block Raj and get him out of the equation with Pawar and 2) seeking to send a message to Maratha community that he and his party should be considered the rightful heir of the caste leadership after Pawar. That is why Sena is so brazenly disrespecting the mandate that Maharshtra gave for BJP-SS.

Now, there are many interesting aspects to this unfolding story:- 1) What will Raj do now? Will he go back to his pre-2014 stance and align with the BJP? If Udhhav blocks him out with Pawar, he will be forced to move to the other end knowing he and Uddhav can’t remain on the same side of the divide. His statement after Ayodhya verdict, which he welcomed is an interesting one. BJP won’t be too happy to take him now given 2022 UP elections and that is the window of opportunity Sena would like to tap into and block Raj out for the next few years at least. Raj would expect Pawar to play a balancing role here which is not going to be as easy, even for a seasoned player like senior Pawar.

2) Normally when the Marathas galvanise on the caste basis, Maharashtra has seen a strong counter polarisation of OBCs as well as Dalits. These communities then tend to align with a party that marathas are not likely to support. Pramod Mahajan and Munde played in this space in maharashtra for long. Will BJP go back to that again? Unlikely, but would be interesting to watch this space.

3) How will Pawar protect Supriya Sule’s interst and not let Aditya pose a challenge for her in the long run? Pawar wont easily handover the caste leadership baton to Udhav for this reason, the Aditya factor. Ignoring Ajit could also be tricky for Pawar for he has a sizable following in few Western Maharashtra districts and could rock the NCP boat there.

4) Sena will definitely want the coalition to continue till BMC elections in 2022 and ensure continuity there. Will Pawar and Congress continue to support them till then?

5) If BJP were to go back to Mahajan-Munde formula, then they will have to bring up a strong OBC leadership to reap the harvest of counter polarisation in the next elections. Pankaja Munde could gain prominence since Khadse is unlikely to be rehabilitated or BJP could groom another OBC leadership. But that would be a defeat of Modi-Shah’s ‘politics of perfromance’ plank and would also mean going back to the old ways of caste based politics that Congress and co has mastered.

Returning to the ‘politics of performance’ epitomised by Fadnavis’ leadership and not succumb to Opposition’s caste led politics will be the biggest challenge for Modi-Shah duo. Would be very interesting to see how things unfold in Maharashtra in the days to come.
