How UPA wrote nonsense as history-insulting heroes like Prithviraj Chauhan, Shivaji Maharaj

0

Congress Party touched a new despicable low by spreading lies about freedom fighter [and Crown Prince of Indian Revolutionaries] Swatantryaveer [Meaning of it is ‘Hero of Independence’] Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. A booklet titled ‘How brave was Veer Savarkar’ released by All India Congress Seva Dal training camp run by the Congress in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has claimed that ‘co-founder of Hindu Mahasabha’ Veer Savarkar had a physical relationship with Nathuram Godse, Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin.

[This also exposed another lie, that Savarkar was a co-founder of the Hindu Mahasabha. Swatantryaveer Savarkar was in jail in Andamans from 1911 to 1921, then in Ratnagiri from 1921-1924, and confined to Ratnagiri from 1924 to 1937 & banned from taking part in political activities. How could he have been the co-founder of the Hindu Mahasabha which was founded in 1915 when he was in jail in the Andamans?]

Think this is shocking or new? Hardly. This is something which has been done by the Congress many times in the past- slander against others. Let us see what the Congress-led UPA did in 2005 in history text books. In May 2004 the NDA lost power. In 2005 NCERT replaced all the text books in schools. Old Communist historians were dusted out of the closet and made to author textbooks. Romila Thapar, Satish Chandra, R S Sharma and et al, authored the textbooks of various senior classes on orders of the UPA’s HRD Ministry, which was under Congress leader Arjun Singh.

UPA taught in History “Prithviraj Chauhan was a ‘coward’ who ran away to save his life during the second battle of Tarain with Mohammad Ghauri”!

This was written in Class XI CBSE & ICSE book titled ‘Medieval Indian History’, published by NCERT in 2005! This book published under Arjun Singh’s HRD Ministry of the UPA Government in 2005 was edited by Communist Professor Satish Chandra. It said that Prithviraj Chauhan tried to run away from the battle, but was taken prisoner, and he was ‘punished’ by Ghouri on charge of treason. What an insult it was of a valiant king!

That book said “Jaichand (generally believed to be a traitor) was, in fact a ‘hero’ who gave up his life while fighting the forces of Ghauri” and “Jaichand’s valour was unmatched & that he was killed while fighting the forces of Ghauri in Kannauj.”

That book by Satish Chandra also denied that the main cause of bitterness between Prithviraj & Jaichand was the fact that the latter’s daughter Sanyogita had eloped with Prithviraj & that Jaichand never forgave them! The book said that there were major political differences between the two kings and Sanyogita was not part of it. What distortion of history, insult of the great Prithviraj Chauhan, glorification of Jaichand by Communist historian Satish Chandra, NCERT & UPA Government.

This is just a sample. A full article was written by the then editor of Organiser Dr R Balashankar on this in Organiser, 24 July 2005. His article said:

“Ram and Krishna never lived. Prithviraj Chauhan was “punished” by Muhummad Ghuri for “conspiracy,” Shivaji never faced open battles and won only by “treachery.” These are not extracts from a Pakistani book. But the “facts” mentioned in the Government of India textbooks, issued by Arjun Singh’s NCERT.

The Union HRD minister’s campaign to paint the education field red has resulted in this absurdity being taught as history. The NCERT, has replaced all the text books in schools. Old Communist historians have been dusted out of the closet and made to author textbooks for children. Romila Thapar, Satish Chandra, Ram Sharan Sharma and et al, have authored the textbooks of various senior classes. Page after page, the tone, the language and the presentation are aimed at insulting the national heroes.

Sample this, “archaeological evidence should be considered far more important than long family trees given in the Puranas because Puranic tradition can be used to date Ram of Ayodhya to 2000 B C but diggings and extensive exploration in Ayodhya do not show any settlement of the time.” (Ancient India, Ram Sharan Sharma, book for Class XI)

And he had this to say about Mahabharata, “Although Krishna played an important role in Mahabharata, inscriptions and sculptural piece found in Mathura dating back to 200 BC and 300 AD do not attest to his presence. Because of this, ideas of an epic based on Ramayana and Mahabharata have to be discarded.”

If Ram and Krishna are to be discarded, are we to hold on to Ghuri and Ghazni? On Prithviraj, Satish Chandra says that in his second battle with Ghuri (lovingly called in the book as Muizzuddin Mohammad bin Sam) Prithviraj escaped from the battlefield while his side suffered losses. “he was captured near Saraswati (present day Sirsa)… he was allowed to rule Ajmer for sometime.” Soon, he was “executed on a charge of conspiracy against Ghuri.” Here again, Chandra dismisses the legend of Prithviraj as bunkum based on a later day folk ballet written by Chand Bardai. In one sentence he washes off collective memory and folk sources, now considered as important evidence in history. Jaichand, who is synonymous with betrayal has been given the hounours in heroism by Chandra. He died fighting Ghuri, according to him.

All the books newly introduced by Arjun Singh go on and on about the greatness of the Mughal rulers, the “strategic” mistakes they committed. Nowhere the books mention the kind of loot, plunder and destruction each of the invader unleashed on the Hindu population and its properties. There is no dearth of primary source to write a honest history. But these communists are more interested in suppressing the truth and suggesting falsehood. All these marauders had their official diarists with them, who recorded the events of the day. The Marxist historians had sufficient proof readily available with them to write if they sought for facts. But they didn’t.

Hasan Nizami, in the early 13th century wrote an eye-witness account of the conquest of Delhi by Qutbuddin Aibek, in 1192. Here are some extracts “the conqueror (Aibek) entered the city of Delhi, which is the source of wealth and the foundation of blessedness. The city and its vicinity were freed from idols and idol-worship and in its sanctuaries of the images of the gods, mosques were raised by the worshippers of one god… Qutbuddin built the Jami Masjid at Delhi and adorned it with stones and gold obtained from the temples which had been demolished by elephants and cover it with inscriptions in Toghra, containing the divine commands.

While discussing Ramayana and Mahabharata, the latest findings in Dwarka are not even mentioned in the NCERT books. The ASI report on Ayodhya is yet to be released, but the author dismisses the excavations lightly. When they discuss the Mughal rulers they discuss their architecture, literature and governance. But on most of the Hindu rulers, only their battle defeats are elaborated. On Aurangzeb the biased Chandra says “Aurangzeb has been unjustly maligned … the Hindus had become disloyal due to the laxity of Aurangzeb’s predecessors, so that Aurangzeb had no choice but to adopt harsh measures and to try and rally the Muslims on whose support in the long run the empire had to rest.” So to please the Muslims, he imposed jazia on Hindus. Has anyone heard such non-sense in the national History textbooks?

Shivaji, who is normally addressed by Indians with the sobriquet Chhatrapati was only a chieftain, according to Chandra. Shivaji “conquered Javli from the Maratha chief Chandra Rao More. The Javli kingdom and accumulated treasures of the Mores were important and Shivaji acquired them by means of treachery,” Chapter 19 of the Medieval India textbook of Chandra says.

Shivaji is grudgingly dismissed in two pages. Prithviraj in six lines. There is hardly any mention of Rana Pratap and Haldighati. The bias, in these books is unbelievable. It is untruth, myth and fiction passed off as history. There is no end to Muslim rulers’ broad mindedness and Hindu meanness. And this is the history we are teaching our children.

The Muslims had raised a hue and cry about a book under the NDA government, which had described Mohammad as the founder of Islam. The book Comprehensive Study of History and Civics for Class VI in Uttar Pradesh had said that Quran was a compilation of his teachings. The Muslims objected saying that the Quran were not teachings but divine revelations and Mohammad was the last of the Prophets of God.

Can historians who are in the pay-roll of ideological groups in the country get away with distorting our national history? Is this the heritage that the UPA government wants the children of India to inherit? Systematically and determinedly, the UPA is trying to undermine the national pride, self-respect and the glorious history. Pandering to the communists and the vociferous minorities the government is abandoning its role in safeguarding the national interest. Arjun Singh is the henchman for all this.

In those days, in the pre-social media era, the Congress and UPA got away with saying anything. The discredited Marxist historians were employed by them to tamper and distort history, and write such insulting nonsense on Shivaji Maharaj, Prithviraj Chauhan etc & glorify tyrants.

All those who respect these icons, like Shiv Sena and various others in Maharashtra [who often say that they consider Shivaji Maharaj as nothing less than God], various Rajput organizations, who needlessly protested against the film Padmavat due to perception of that film showing disrespect for Queen Padmavati, when in reality there was nothing objectionable in it, should question the Congress about this. How it allowed such content to come in the books, why it chose those historians to author the books, who lied about the heroes? Does the Congress agree with the contents of those books? If not, how did its HRD Ministry allow such content to come in the books?

If the Congress could stoop so low in case of a National Hero Swatantryaveer Savarkar, despite he being an icon in Maharashtra, where its alliance partner Shiv Sena still considers Savarkar as a National Hero, one wonders to what level it may go in future, if it gets a chance to have history books written again. What insults based on lies will they do of heroes like Sambhaji Maharaj (the elder son of Shivaji Maharaj) who was tortured and killed by Aurangazeb [his eyes were gouged out and body was cut into pieces and thrown to vultures] after he refused to convert to Islam, and hence is called ‘Dharmaveer’?

CAA and NRC – Take one step back to move forward

0

That the govt has lost control of the narrative in the matter of CAA and NRC is plain to see. The too little too late outreach program by ministers and others is not going to alter (mis)perceptions that have set in thanks to lies repeated often enough by the opposition. The botched up handling of protests at JMI alienated the student community at large. And just when passions were dying out, the mishandling of JNU attacks have once again ignited them.

While a lot amongst the countrywide protests are fueled by vested interests, quite a few are spontaneous – specially amongst the students. The students are protesting because they are alarmed by the scaremongering by the well oiled propaganda machinery of the left liberal eco-system, and not because they have any real understanding of the issue at hand or its implications. The narrative being built by the eco-system is speculative, generic and hinting at similarity between the sequence of events unfolding now with the rise of Nazi party in Germany. The government and party, which owes its rise to successful control of the narrative so far, appears to be on back-foot now.

Perhaps it was inevitable, a sense of complacency setting in after the spectacular electoral gains and failure of opposition’s attempt to rally opinion against the abrogation of Article 370. And with the issue fast turning into an emotive one with even those who are neutral but are falling prey to the fear mongering by the left liberal ecosystem, it is likely to take away the governments attention from all other work and reforms it intends to roll out. But all is not lost, and it’s still possible to regain the narrative.

Sometimes a small tactical retreat is prudent in order to achieve larger strategic victories. To deflate the steadily rising opposition to CAA and NRC, the government should do exactly that – take a tactical step back on the issue. Announce putting the CAA and NRC on hold till it is able to build a broader consensus. This would immediately bring an end to the shrill campaign being orchestrated against it – taking the wind out of the sails of the opposition so to speak.

Having doused the fire that is threatening to spread based on the fuel of ignorant fears of the clueless mass of students, the government should thereafter regain the narrative by a sustained awareness campaign on the issue of CAA and NRC. Simultaneously, it should order unbiased, fast tracked judicial enquiries into the incidents of violence at JMI, AMU, UP and JNU. While these are on, it can move on to focus on other pressing matters facing the nation.

In order to return to implementation of CAA and NRC, the government can also consider holding a plebiscite on the issue. The silent majority is in any case in agreement with the government’s line of thinking, and if the baseless fears of those affected by the fear mongering left liberal ecosystem can be addressed through the outreach campaign, the outcome of the plebiscite would be favourable. That would effectively shut up the one penny two penny opposition parties and radical groups that are currently opposing the implementation.

There is no shame in taking one step back to ensure you are able to take subsequent forward steps on a more sound footing.

Siege of Mecca: A seed sown for ISIS

It was few days before the European New year i.e 20th of November 1979, an important part of Islamic civil war unfolded and entire world watched it without quite grasping the intensity with which it will impact the World once for all. That is the day when seed for Al-Qaeda & ISIS was sown. That day an fight for return to puritan form of Islam erupted. The rural minds filled with all sort of imaginary world unable to co-operate with pace of urban development erupted violently against all form of liberties, equality and gender-free society.

Mahdi – A Ruler: Mahdi, is a time frame in Islamic history where a ruler will evolve and show truth and justice for all. Each and every Islamic mind is conditioned to pray for that time frame so that Islam will slaughter all other religions and will become sole custodian of entire world. Islamic rulers exploit their fellow followers on this time frame. They announce themselves as Mahdi and start to practice violence against humanity by abusing, slaughtering people and their cultural values.

Saudi – An oil boom: As soon as oil boom happened the biggest benefactor of it was Saudi Kingdom. With unlimited source of income, they started to spend lavishly in the development of Saudi. They invested heavily in infrastructure, automobile industry, created media empire and in all sort of wealthy things. Since Saudi was an young nation established very recently, the scale and nature of these developments directly coincided with the minds of Islamic followers. They considered everything going on as Haram(Sin) and was waiting for circumstances to erupt. The last resort they get into was Mahdi.

Return of Mahdi: Along with the victory of Iranian revolution of early 1979, Juhayman al-Otaybi an ex-Saudi military veteran unable to cope up with urban development went hiding in the villages. With complete study of Quran he got filled up with all thoughts of Mahdi and found out one preacher (Mohammed Abdullah al-Qahtani) who was fully immersed in Islamic preachings. Imaginary and vengeful mind started believing and imparting the preacher as Mahdi. Stories being popped up all across Saudi lands stating the arrival of Mahdi and rumors started flowing that people have seen him in action in their dreams.

Siege of Mecca: With the experience in Military and along with religious doctrine Juhayman entered Mecca on 20th Nov,1979 with followers and within short span of time announces the arrival of Mahdi and then captures the holy mosque of Mecca. They started denouncing Saudi royal family as doing Haram and asked for People revolution against them. Doors of Mecca mosque were closed and they went into intense religious following. Saudi royal family which were not expecting this, started waking up and used their clout with Islamic preachers and then announce Fatwa against the Siege.

Help of Western world: Saudi King who understood the weakness of their military called for help from Western world. Finally France sent three of their Military operations heads and started coordinating with Saudi forces. They isolated the Kaaba(a place inside Mecca mosque) and started firing on the followers of preacher. Finally after intense battle for 6 days, preacher was killed and Juhayman along with some fifty fighters were arrested. Finally they were hanged in public all across Saudi Kingdom.

Repercussions of Siege: On identifying the nature of Islamic mind of Juhayman, instead of continuing the path of development, Saudi royal family started following the puritan teachings of Islam.Cinema halls were closed. Women were banned from public and driving vehicles. They were removed from commercial establishments including Media empires. Civil liberties were crushed. Its been four decades now.Still lot needs to be undone by Saudi Kingdom.

Seed Sown for Al-qaeda and ISIS: Osama bin laden lavished about those days till his death. He also at one point announced himself as Mahdi and was given safe heaven by Pakistan. ISIS rulers also followed the same principle of announcing the arrival of Mahdi to Kill Kafirs. Many Islamic preachers still keep on sowing the seeds of hate about Mahdi on fellow followers. Intensity of questioning about these violent activities being preached still is at very abysmal level among Islamic nations. Reformist movements need to speak-up against this time frame of Mahdi.

Silence of Western world: Many western researchers are silent about the siege of Mecca and its aftermath. Hollywood which usually commercializes all happenings did not even elaborated on this event. Bollywood A-listers who cat calls everything on Hindu world remained silent on this siege.

Remember the famous saying “History which is not documented properly will change the course of our Living”. Let us pledge today and discuss more about those violent days of Middle east so that people will get sense of what has happened and happening in the name of Islam

The Siege of Mecca

With due respect to Mr. Shivshankar Menon, his concerns over CAA are unfounded

0

That a learned man like Mr. Shivshankar Menon must raise concerns over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is quite surprising.

While addressing a public hearing organized by the Constitutional Conduct Group and Karwan-e-Mohabbat, Shivshankar Menon is reported, by The Hindu, to have said the following:

Global public opinion on India has shifted if you see the international press. It’s a self-inflicted goal.

Mr. Menon does not appear to remember that the international media has hardly found it of consequence to laud India. Be it the New York Times or the Washington Post, such influential platforms have always criticized India.

The following, for instance, is a piece in the New York Times that formulates its heading with the provocative words: “India Plans Big Detention Camps for Migrants, Muslims Are Afraid.” https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/17/world/asia/india-muslims-narendra-modi.html?action=click&module=RelatedLinks&pgtype=Article

Yet another, that says, “Under Modi, a Hindu Nationalist Surge Has Further Divided India.” https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/11/world/asia/modi-india-elections.html?action=click&module=RelatedLinks&pgtype=Article

New York Times would do well to invest further time in research, and realize that the BJP-led NDA, in fact, had cut across all barriers of caste in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, and had not lost its Muslim electorate despite the relentless propaganda against the government and fear-mongering of it being against the Muslims.

One could quote several such instances, but it would suffice to say that there has never been any love lost between India and the international press. For now, it is of greater significance to look at the other objections raised by the former top diplomat.

Scroll.in (https://scroll.in/latest/948707/on-caa-and-article-370-former-nsa-shivshankar-menon-warns-india-of-international-isolation) reports that the former Foreign Secretary and NSA went further to say:

There has been no meaningful international support for this series of actions, apart from a few committed members of the diaspora and a ragtag bunch of Euro MPs from the extreme right.

This statement has left me bemused. Two questions bother me, which are as follows:

  1. Why is it of consequence for India to receive international support on its internal matters?
  2. Is the French envoy, Emmanuel Lenain, a “ragtag MP”? For he did say to the media that it was not for them (the French) to comment on India’s internal matters: https://www.financialexpress.com/india-news/cab-indias-key-ally-france-calls-caa-countrys-internal-matter/1795662/

Further statements made by him are disconcerting. In the context of the Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar cancelling the meeting with the House Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States due to the presence of Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, Mr. Menon said, “We seem to know that we are isolated.”

I have three questions that bother me:

  1. Wouldn’t isolation, conventionally, be indicated by their refusal to meet our delegation, and not the other way round?
  2. Dr. Jaishankar’s meeting with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee went according to schedule. How, then, does this indicate India’s isolation?
  3. Notwithstanding that it was impeachment day for Donald Trump, he went beyond his schedule and spent, in person, about 40 minutes with Dr. Jaishankar and the Hon’ble Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh. Sources tell India Today that in light of the same, the meeting with the House Committee would not have materialized anyway (Source: https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/jaishankar-2-2-meeting-pramila-jayapal-1630880-2019-12-23). How does this even remotely indicate isolation?

Mr. Menon then tried to explore the constitutionality of the CAA. He said:

We seem to be in violation of our international commitments. You must consider the political and other consequences of being perceived as violators of international law.

I submit the following observations:

  1. There does not appear to exist any international law or agreement or commitment whereto India is a party, prohibiting India from making amendments to or introducing new citizenship laws.
  2. In an interview to NDTV, top legal expert and India’s former Solicitor General, Harish Salve, had the following to say:

Persecution can be on account of political beliefs, on account of religious beliefs, on account of social beliefs. We have, through this Act, recognized one form of persecution, which is constitutionally valid. Whether or not we recognize other forms of persecution is a matter of policy. These countries are indeed Islamic republics, so we allow migration to those who are declared minorities in these countries. The classification is legal. Should others be allowed? It is a matter of policy.

What he meant is that while the exclusion of other persecuted groups such as Ahmadiyas can be a matter of policy argument (and therefore may be debated upon either in Parliament or otherwise), it cannot be a matter of argument of Constitutional Law. Legally, therefore, the Act is sound.

Some critics also quoted Article 14, which states: “The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India.”

However, they forget that reasonable classification is allowed if (a) the classification is based on an intelligible differentia and (b) the differentia has a rational relation with the object sought to be achieved. This is in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Court of India in Shri Ram Krishna Dalmia vs. Shri Justice S R Tendolkar, 1958. Source: https://indiankanoon.org/doc/685234/

“Minorities in a country which have a declared state religion”, says Mr. Salve, “constitutes intelligible differentia.” He further states that the provision has a nexus with this differentia, in the sense that these minorities are allowed migration (i.e. the differentia is related to the object sought to be achieved: giving citizenship). That is where the Article 14 inquiry must end, because Courts do not second-guess this form of legislative wisdom.

Thus, the unfounded concerns of Mr. Menon as regards the constitutionality and legality of the CAA stand addressed.

Finally, Mr. Menon raised apprehensions of India being seen as a religiously driven and intolerant country. He said: “We have gifted our adversaries platforms from which to attack us.”

But who are these adversaries? He does not make it clear. Let us take a look at our enemies today:

  1. The first, understandably and overtly, is Pakistan. Is Mr. Menon concerned that Pakistan may activate its overseas machinery to lobby foreign governments to raise concerns over CAA? If yes, I seek to allay his concerns with the news of Imran Khan himself blaming the “powerful Indian lobby in America for strengthening New Delhi’s narrative against Pakistan.” (Source: https://www.firstpost.com/world/imran-khan-blames-powerful-indian-lobby-in-america-for-playing-key-role-in-strengthening-new-delhis-narrative-against-pakistan-7836781.html).
  2. The second is not so much an arch-enemy as much a rival on account of conflicting geopolitical interests: China. Both India and China recognize each other as vast markets. It would not escape the eyes of a seasoned diplomat like Mr. Menon that China’s foreign policy is driven by two factors: (a) economic interests (b) desire to establish itself as a superpower.
My natural question, therefore, is, “Why would China concern itself with India’s citizenship laws when they cannot affect Sino-China trade in any manner?” Mr. Menon also does not elaborate on the kind of attacks that he himself warns India about.

Is he, then, referring to internal enemies, such as those engaged in violence over CAA? The law-enforcement, I think, has sufficiently shown its power, and shall unhesitatingly do so again. By now, it should be clear that the government does not take anarchy lying down.

What bothers me is that Mr. Shivshankar Menon must make such statements in spite of being, as said earlier, a very learned individual. He comes from a family of diplomats. He commands respect in the diplomatic circles. He has authored an excellent book, “Choices: Inside the Making of India’s Foreign Policy”. After retirement, he is working as a Trustee of the International Crisis Group. He, however, appears to have a left-wing bias, something that would not be concerning had it not clouded his statements.

Ironically, he had, himself, commended Prime Minister Modi’s foreign policy posturing in 2015: https://www.hindustantimes.com/india/modi-s-foreign-policy-better-than-upa-s-says-shivshankar-menon/story-Ke8NVz3BAvDRMyUlrINMRN.html

Barring a day, Mr. Menon, at 70, is five decades elder to me. That a layperson like me must so easily repudiate a learned ex-bureaucrat like him does no justice to his own knowledge over foreign affairs. He must not let, as I said earlier, bias cloud his analysis.

It is hoped that his concerns have been allayed by way of this post.

Dilemma of a Muslim youth in the times of NRC-CAA protests

0

In the time where Muslims are coming out in mobs to protest NRC and CAA, vandalizing properties and lynching and even shooting at police, there is a bigger section of young Muslims that does not want to be the part of this bigoted mob.

These unfortunate young Muslims are battling on multiple fronts. On one side there are “liberals” and “seculars” who want these Muslims to follow them blindly, other side has misinformed and bigoted parents who blindly believe in whatever is told to them by Mullahs and community leaders.

A Muslim girl Shabana (name changed) wanted to vote for change in 2014 but ended up voting for “synonym of corruption” Congress because she was told to do so by her conservative parents, who were told to do so by their community leader.

Her opinion anyway mattered a little, but she never felt this much helpless and lonely before NRC-CAA protests started. She shared her point of view with her revolutionary friends but those liberal comrades (most of them are practicing conservative Muslims at home or useful idiot Hindus) even abused her for having different opinion.

Her support for NRC-CAA became her worst nightmare when she shared her thoughts with her leftist comrade cousin considering he proclaims himself a liberal and will respect her opinion. Instead, he came to her house same day to meet her parents and she was forced to resign from her job. Her bigoted father feared that she may join pro NRC-CAA rallies.

Shabana was the first lady in her whole extended family to go out for a job, this was not easy in a family of Muslim conservatives and Liberal activists who want to fight against Brahmanical patriarchy but support Islamic patriarchy in the name of family honor.

Waseem, a software engineer has similar story where he was abused and threatened by his family members for supporting NRC-CAA.

His misguided parents keeps on forwarding him fake WhatsApp messages and videos to convince him to protest NRC-CAA, his liberal and secular friends keep forwarding him fake messages and videos about how Hindus want to take over the country and how dangerous India has become for Muslims.

“My liberal friends don’t answer why they are so desperate to bring Rohingyas to dangerous country like India”, says Waseem. “My father doesn’t answer why I should believe more in Muslim brotherhood than Indian Brotherhood”.

Kavita has a different story. She comes from a Hindu liberal, secular family and like every typical Indian pseudo liberal and secular, her parents neither celebrate any Hindu festival nor do believe in Ram or Krishna and hate everything that has anything to do with Hindu. Though, they start celebrating like a kid on Christmas and Eid. Kavita calls them “useful idiots” with a smile on her face.

Kavita’s grandmother was devotee of Lord Krishna. She was forced to spend rest of her life in a small prison cell like room in her own house because Kavita’s leftist parents could not tolerate the sound of chanting’s and smell of agarbatti. They did not want their liberal and secular friend circle to find out that they have a “Hindu” at home. Kavita believe that she got her revolutionary genes from her grandmother who herself was a revolutionary that never gave up on her devotion.

Like Shabana, Kavita and Waseem, there are millions of black sheep in every Indian family. They are forced to live the life of a fake liberal, force fed the biases against majority. They are forced to believe that whatever wrong happens in this world is because of Hindus.

Shabana’s liberal comrade cousins believe that someday Gajwa-e-Hind will happen with the help of useful idiots (read liberals and seculars) and muslims will get what they deserve.

Waseem’s bigoted father does not employ any Hindu in his business but would happily accept a Hindu bride for his son.

Kavita’s “useful idiot” parents strongly believe that they are entitled to decide dos and don’ts for Hindus be it height of Dahi-Handi or timings of Holi/Diwali celebration.

Unlike 2014, Shabana voted for BJP in 2019 because she supported criminalization of triple talaq. Kavita voted for Modi because she can tolerate an Idiot as family head bot not as country head. Waseem voted for BJP because he could never feel like a scared Muslim, his Hindu landlord and he believes that safety of Muslims can only be guaranteed if India is safe under Modi’s BJP.

Shabana, Kavita and Waseem feel helpless when they want to support Modi and BJP on Triple talaq or 370, or when they want to clap on surgical strikes. They are not allowed to show their solidarity for Ankit Saxena who was murdered for having a Muslim girlfriend, they are not allowed to say that Junaid was killed for a seat and not for wearing skull cap.

Shabana, Kavita and Waseem feel suffocated in their so called liberal and secular families where they can’t raise their voice against someone who openly threatens to kill 100 Crore Hindus in 15 minutes or when they can’t object on vulgar cartoons made on Hinduism in the name of freedom of expression.

Shabana supports NRC-CAA because she knows that bill is limited to refugees and has nothing to do with Indian Muslims, Kavita supports NRC-CAA because she sympathizes with non-Muslim victims from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan and is not ready to take the fake argument that Muslims are also discriminated on the bases of religion in an Islamic country. Waseem supports NRC-CAA because for him Muslims have 150 countries but for Hindus there is not even a single country on this planet and thus Indian Muslims who are 5 times a day allowed to play on loudspeaker “Allah is greatest”, should show a bigger heart for Hindu refugees.

Views of these young people have created an even bigger rift between them and their families, who they describe as bigots whose minds are filed with misinformation and hatred for Hindus. Who don’t have an identity of their own and follow the footsteps of Mullahs and community leaders. These youth are slowly and steadily trying to change the minds of their conservative, misguided and ill-informed community members and still have not given up.

Apart from their regular social media presence where they share only work and family related updates, they have anonymous Facebook and Twitter accounts where they continue to express themselves fearlessly. Here they counter champions of freedom of expression and liberals who call them Bhakts, paid members of IT cell or Hindu terrorists.

Waseem laughs and shares one of many incidents where a liberal messaged him, threaten him and dared him to share his contact number. When Waseem shared his contact number, that liberal called him and was shocked to know that a Muslim is supporting Modi. Waseem has successfully made many liberals understand that Muslims are not scared in India and most of them support criminalizing Triple Talaq and scraping 370.

Waseem has an interesting argument” I have never seen a liberal Muslim abusing Islam or liberal Christian abusing Christianity but these Hindu liberals continuously abuse Hindus and Hinduism….. I can’t stand with them because jo Hindu hokar Hindu ke sage nahi ho sake, Musalman ke kaise honge?”

Amidst rabble rousing, Arif Muhammad Khan is making his voice heard in Kerala

0

The media outlets in Kerala are not all left-oriented, but they do have immense hatred for BJP, if not more.

An erudite scholar and former union minister under the Rajiv Gandhi tenure, Shri Arif Muhammad Khan was appointed as the governor of Kerala in September and since then he has been tickling the nerves of the entrenched communist party of Kerala for some reason or the other.

HIGH DRAMA UNFOLDS AT INDIAN HISTORY CONGRESS

The 80th edition of the Indian history congress had Gov Arif Muhammad Khan to inaugurate the event which was held in the city of Kannur which is by far a communist bastion. Arif Muhammad Khan known for his extempore public speaking was seen noting down certain points made by KK Rajesh, a communist MP from Kerala as he spoke inadvertently about the atrocities faced by the minorities in wake of the CAA implemented by the MODI government.

Followed by Rajesh came noted historian Irfan Habib, who addressed the gathering and raised a few questions which were directed at the governor. Habib spoke for nearly 1 hour after which the governor came to address the gathering.

While patiently replying to the questions raised by Habib, the crowd turned amok when the governor mentioned Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad. Things took a new low when Habib suffered a meltdown and charged towards the governor keeping aside his school of thought. Governor’s ADC and security officer prevented further encroachment from Habib, while Habib was seen shouting at the governor that he should mention Godse, not Azad.

The conundrum among the crowds when the governor was addressing was by no way fortuitous as they were seen holding placards and, interestingly many were from JNU and AMU. A well-played game.

HOW THE MEDIA RESPONDED

The topic surrounding the prime time debate for almost all media channels had the aforementioned vehemency occurred at the Indian history congress. Shockingly their topic of debate was not to mention the preaching of conduct from a top dignitary like Irfan Habib, but it was to check whether the ‘governor worked according to the constitution or not’.

There is a series of notions among the media outlets down south as they often place BJP as a laughing stock. Any sort of a slip of the tongue or mistake from a BJP spokesperson or anyone affiliated with the Sangh Parivar is being celebrated and posted on the social media platform by the official media page itself. To create the further buzz they will add up a caustic /sarcastic headline which no other party gets access to.

A recent debate in a Jamaat-e-Islami sponsored channel in Kerala, a BJP spokesperson asked the anchor whether he condemns the act of Irfan Habib violating the protocol or not to which he vaguely responded and tried to move astray the topic out of contention. The Anchor then lately pointed the statement made by the governor: “those who tried to heckle me were the Muslims from JNU and AMU”. The anchor then stressed the word ‘Muslims’ to invoke a tone of his acerbic rant to his fellow panel members.

In a completely different instance from another TV channel, a supreme court lawyer who is seen recently in TV interviews and is quite infamous for her rabid and bilious rants made another of her calumnious statement quoted out probably from WhatsApp university which stated: For the freedom fighters of India the imprints of the British boots will be on their breast, while for the Sangh the boot imprints is found out from their tongues. Expectedly the anchor made no attempt to stop the slanderous comment and no one in the panel came to counter, even the BJP spokesperson.

When the BJP spokesperson was awarded his turn, he wasted no time in giving her the reply from the same coin as he said, “If Savarkar had the imprints of the British boots in his tongue after spending 11 years in the Andamans, just imagine where all would have the tongues of Nehru and AKG( communist veteran) traveled if they were allowed mercy from the British after spending just one year in jail”.

What ensued afterward was the anchor pointing down fingers and shouting at the BJP spoke person to take back the comments and apologize. Interestingly one should take into account that before anyone it was the anchor who expressed her dissent following the statement made by the BJP panel member.

Even though not going with the defense given by the BJP spokesperson, there is indeed a serious misconception and hatred among the media which they serve down to their viewers regarding anything which matters with BJP.

FOR THE SAVIOURS OF THE CONSTITUTION

Arif Muhammad Khan recently dismissed the resolution put forward by the Kerala assembly against CAA as he stated CAA as a purely a central subject while the state has got no legal validity to oppose the same. This evoked sharp criticism for all ends of both communist and congress party as they were seemly unhappy with his statement and quoted him for working alike a state BJP president.

The death commemoration of veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran had Mr Khan’s name in the list which was taken aback after the serious of criticism surging around him. If one would turn back the history pages to refer the camaraderie the two shared, they’ll for sure apprehend the animosity they are running into.

In a recent interview with the former editor of India Today, currently the senior editor of Asianet news  M J Radhakrishnan, Khan said that he openly supported the CAA which was a promise made by Mahatma Gandhi to provide citizenship for the minorities in Pakistan. He also made a point that no act of intolerance can shut him down as he is well-bounded with the constitution and it was indeed his duty to clear the air surrounding CAA or else it’s better to resign and rest at home.

Khan also left an open debate on CAA and urged those ones who are sternly opposing to participate as it will only do good for the confused Muslims in Kerala who all have been subjected to fear-mongering from the left and the congress.

For the saviors of the constitution, while wasting time by heckling and conducting riots in the streets, please do acknowledge the open challenge from the governor and show your dissent in the most constitutional way. Raj Bhavan awaits you!

Open letter to Sagarika’s plea that protesters are not urban Naxals

0

Sagarika Madam,

Your contrived OPED column in TOI titled “PROTESTRS ARE NOT URBAN NAXALS“ condoling the CAA  protesters and  their ostensible victimization in the hands of the Modi regime, does not  surprise many who are so familiar with the intractable animosity of the Indian liberals towards Modi.

Yes Madam Sagarika! We do concede that all protesters are not urban Naxals because there always will be some ignorant fools, be it amongst the common man or celebrities, who would take to marching with placards and shouting slogans for a cause they have hardly understood and all this just to garner some cheap publicity. However any average follower of Indian politics would know that behind every protest there is this skulking instigation by Urban Naxals.

The Naxalism as an ideology is long dead as a result of increasing urbanization and benefits of technological advances reaching the rural areas. Although the Naxalism as an ideology is on the brink of extinction the Naxalsim as a very viable profession for intellectual mercenaries is very much alive and thriving. The professional Naxals, bereft of any ideology, have tasted the power of money and influence through their nuisance value in rent a cause protests.

The urban Naxals are constantly gnawing away like termites to dislodge the democratically elected govt. Anarchy is their main motive. The urban Naxal organization or for that matter any Naxal organization does not follow any semblance of democratic norms in running their organization. Their commanders are appointed by the red corridors junta; the dissenters amongst their files are eliminated. However they have this insolent expectation from the ruling regime to view their felonious anti national activities within the democratic frame.

If the Home Minister and other senior govt officials refer to the alleged role of Urban Naxals and “Tukde Tukde“ elements in a spurt of violent protests across India, it must definitely be based on reliable intelligence inputs. Even the news channels are bringing out shocking videos of clandestine role of anti national outfits like PFI.

Your malicious intent is evident when even a violent protest is bracketed along with normal protests that go as an expression of dissent and disapproval. Where there is violence there cannot be any sincere concern at the core of their grievance because it is more concerned with garnering adverse publicity for the govt and its administration. Provoking the administration and daring them to take suitable punitive actions of deterrence/prevention is the main motive behind such violent protests. Your accusations and insinuations concerning local govt patronized police excesses are ill founded, because crowd control measures anywhere, especially while dealing  with hostile mob, would demand use of appropriate weapons to dissuade and dispel them.

How  much of police action can pass off as coming under acceptable norms and how much is considered police excess is left only for the media’s convenience to decide. Sagarika madam! You and your ilk would  be going hammer and tongs at the same police forces for standing as mute spectators, if those at the receiving end of the violence happened to be the Muslim houses or Muslim establishments.

The right of a police personnel to defend their life under attack from professional protest mercenaries and actions emanating from the police in discharge of their duty to protect public property and innocent civilians cannot be called as police excesses. If the protesters can dispense with acceptable norms of protests and indulge in arson, looting and causing grave danger to society then police are well within their ethical norms to deal with the hooligans suitably.

When protests are engineered with a diabolical motive to exploit the ignorance and sensitive  mindsets of religious minorities to spread hate and violence, it ceases to be a protest of dissent and becomes a protest of deceit aimed to defile the national unity.

Madam Sagarika! You are bemoaning that under the present regime the right to protest, a fundamental feature of democracies, is getting constantly undermined. However as a matter of  fact, if one makes even a casual recall of the political news concerning the Nation then one can observe that right from the time the Modi govt had come in to power, much to the consternation of the pseudo seculars, there has been regular protests on one issue or the other inside the parliament, at the parliament premises and on the streets of India.

There has been a long list of Protests that have been directed at the ruling regime. Protests against land ceiling, protests against reservation, perceived intolerance, SC/ST criminal act court ruling, against demonetization, against beef ban, divestment in public sectors, merger of banks, demolition of Ambedkar Bhavan in Mumbai, restriction of entry for women in specific temples,  location of metro shed in Aarey colony Mumbai, frequent farmers stir, abrogation of article 370 and so on. Protests have been happening both as a consequence of natural outbursts of dissent and also in many cases as an orchestrated response with dubious motive. Where is the ground  Sagrika madam! For you to lament that protester‘s space is shrinking under NDA regime. As a matter of fact protests have become a regular mode of expression of disgruntlement by pseudo seculars at being usurped out of power.

The attempt to invoke comparison with past regimes especially that of NDA under ABV has become a stale ploy in your columns to show Modi govt in poor  light. You are pointing  out that  dialogue was a much sought after path to chart out implementation of  various govt initiatives on matters of national concern under previous regimes. Even an elementary student of politics would deduce what is the limited prospect for such dialogue with the opposition, given the   scornful resentment of pseudo secular practitioners in the opposition parties in accepting peoples verdict that brought Modi govt to power.

It is an abject failure of the opposition in giving that kind of confidence to Modi govt over the bright prospect of dialogue process. Any initiative from Modi govt would get critically evaluated by the out of power political parties from the stand point of how an “advantage Modi” situation can be thwarted. Modi govt cannot be faulted with for losing confidence over Dialogue process.

If only Modi govt had adopted such a dialogue process for all govt initiatives then it would have been a certain recipe for long delays leading to denial. Many pro people initiatives and policies  would have been languishing in various parliamentary committees. Notwithstanding their valid  aversion for the dialogue process, Modi govt. diligently followed procedures and processes acquiescent with parliamentary principles in all the legislation ushered in by them. Sagarika Madam! Please do not ignore the fact that the much wrangled GST introduction was preceded by long drawn dialogue and negotiation process.

More often than not these dialogues processes are nothing but an opportunity for those out of power to extract their pound of flesh for extending non hindrance. There is no meaningful purpose served if despite getting an overwhelming majority if a govt is required to undertake this long drawn so called dialogue process with the opposition which has the prime objective of scuttling any govt initiative.

One cannot compare a coalition time necessitated govt style to a govt style which is not depended on any coalition. It is very much apparent that Indian Liberals and Presstitutes would long for those days when weak coalition govts was order of the day. Because it ensured that govts were always on tenterhooks and that made a perfect setting for the lobbyists to revel and flourish.

The liberals who accept “Barat tere tukde tukde karenge” slogans as freedom of expression, why do they cringe about “Go to Pakistan” remarks from the other camp. Why are the liberals so miffed about senior police officials or ministers found using these expressions against these anti national elements especially when they were blatantly shouting anti-India slogans.

The opposition leaders like Rahul Ghandhi and his coterie were found participating in “tukde tukde” Melas and thereby giving their tacit approval for the legitimacy of such anti national   slogans. Why the Liberal lobby was found encouraging that anti national cult under freedom of expression pretext? And why they are wincing at the remarks of “Go to Pakistan”? “Go to Pakistan” expression need not necessarily be construed as an expression calling for expulsion or ostracism. It does include the benign intention of letting the antagonists get correct perspective of their  perceived grievance by getting a fist hand experience in Pakistan as to what level of personal freedom with respect to religious beliefs they would enjoy.

The sickular champions do not realize this matter of certitude that when the existence of the very concept of a nation is at peril what will the so called liberal secularism would go on to accomplish. In trying to up hold this twisted and crooked form of secularism neither the secularism nor the nation will survive in the end.

Thanks to Hinduism and the majority Hindus that the secularism is still alive in India and there is a hope that it will continue to thrive. A cursory glance at the political history of many nations show that secularism has been the very first casualty when it allowed certain religious faiths to grow without any restrictions.

Even if India rightfully becomes the “Hindu Rashtra” in the near future there sure would be a hope for followers of other faiths to co-exist without getting persecuted. But same cannot be guaranteed, if due to unchecked infiltration and unchecked population growth should this land  become an Islamic entity. The sad saga of Kashmir is a clear cut example of things to come when  you allow secularism under liberal democracy to be exploited by some faiths which believe in eliminating other faiths to establish their supreme hegemony.

The CAA does not have anything for an Indian citizen to worry about, be it a minority Muslim or a Majority Hindu. But surely, those who live by the dreams of converting this entire world into an Islamic caliphate will have something to worry about.

The practice of liberalism by many liberal democracies world over has extracted a heavy price in terms of loss of security and peace. Astronomical sums have been expended by world of nations in trying to maintain and upgrade security measures for its citizens. If only such huge sums could have been diverted to poverty elimination the world would have been a better place to live.

As per the adage that is more prevalent in south of Vindhyas “Too much of the mythological nectar can also turn into poison”. I hope the liberals do realize this soon that too much of unregulated liberalized democracy will become its own poison. Democracies cannot survive any more by excess dosage of liberalism.

Save AYUSH from Pseudoscience tag, declare as traditional wisdom for paramedical benefit, stop cross-pathy

0

The tall and sky rocketing claims about various recipes of AYUSH by some hyper-AYUSH enthusiast and self- claimed owners of such wisdom and the claim on the ability of AYUSH to treat every disease including down syndrome and other congenital disorders along with secret use and practice of allopathic drugs by the so called institutionally qualified AYUSH vaidyas in their private practice has indeed earned very bad reputation to AYUSH. Today the believability of AYUSH is under question and is even described by some as pseudoscience.

Government of India, especially the Ministry of AYUSH must clearly define and differentiate AYUSH from proven science by limiting and describing AYUSH as ancient traditional wisdom and not proven science.

Several recipes like YOGA, Pranayama and meditation etc., of AYUSH are proven to have significant health and wellness benefits. Similarly the importance of self-discipline and diet restrictions, exercise and health preserving methods have received global acceptance. Therefore promoting and popularizing AYUSH for wellness and preserving the health by designating AYUSH as PARAMEDICAL or PRE-MEDICAL wisdom is needed to save the ancient traditional wisdom from insignificance due to the rampant criticism of AYUSH as pseudoscience.

The question is how the institutionally qualified vaidyas from AYUSH stream such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani etc., can be settled in the society when we designate AYUSH as paramedical wisdom? The hyper-national post-independence era blunder that has legally defined AYUSH as medical science and the degree conferred to the viad as valid medical degree with the clear description of Ayurveda vaid, Siddha vaid etc. Some basic exposure about modern science is being given to these vaid in their curriculum but unfortunately some of the vaid use such exposure to justify their supra-competency over allopathic system as well; such reflection the author often receive from several institutionally qualified Siddha vaid in Tamil Nadu during in-camera discussion.

The point of debate is not about whether to continue or discontinue the tag- medical science given to AYUSH but the real problem is how to address the issue of pseudoscience tag and how AYUSH can be saved for our future.

Cross pathy by several AYUSH vaid in their private practice is the giant killer of AYUSH. People in the village often believe traditional recipes and home remedies for managing most of the primary health problems. When the patient consult the nearby institutionally qualified vaid, some of the vaid openly and or deceitfully prescribe allopathic medicine but make the claim of the health benefit to their AYUSH recipe. Unfortunate part of the narrative is that when the patient independently buys the same recipe from the market most of the time finds no effect. Several anti-diabetic AYUSH recipes are the best examples for the above.

The point of debate is not about whether AYUSH recipes are as effective as allopathic drugs. But when the vaid and the system makes claim over several AYUSH recipes similar to that of proven allopathic drugs, naturally the question would be raised over their efficacy under the same optics and yardstick used for allopathic drugs. In order to bridge the gap, some AYUSH vaid use allopathic drugs and trick the gullibility of the patient.  But progressively all those cross pathians are earning pseudoscience tag to entire AYUSH.

Time has come we must tell people that AYUSH is meant for promoting positive health, wellness and variety of paramedical benefits. Accordingly all the viad are experts in providing health oriented paramedical recipes. The post-treatment paramedical recipes like physiotherapy, speech therapy etc., are problem centric but AYUSH is total health and wellness centric. AYUSH promote spirituality, faith in God, moral science, spirit of social responsibility, trust in the therapy and treating vaid etc.

Only when we re-define and describe clearly the role of AYUSH for paramedical, health cum wellness benefits and designate the role of vaid for various health centric paramedical values, we can save AYUSH as well as remove the pseudoscience tag. The giant killer cross-pathy by AYUSH vaid in private practice we must legally ban to save the system from auto-phagy or self-destruction.

Cross pathy cause medication health fraud, wrong diagnosis, delayed or wrong treatment and financial loss and prolonged suffering. Further if the disease is communicable, cross pathy also can risk the entire society, therefore cross pathy must be declared as illegal and cognisable offence in medical profession to save both the patients and the AYUSH, the wonderful traditional health wisdom.
