On the first death anniversary of Arun Jaitley, former finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, incumbent finance minister yesterday wrote a tribute article titled ‘The Builder of Common Ground’ for the Indian Express.
As the title suggests, the article looks at the oft-spoken attribute of Late Arun Jaitley, which could be attributed to his friendships cutting across the political lines. In the article, Nirmala Sitharaman particularly writes about Jaitley’s contribution to GST regime unveiled in 2017 and was discussed at least for decade before that but couldn’t be enacted due to Congress’s inability to get all the stakeholders (mainly state governments) on board.
One particular sentence in this article caught my attention while reading, and I quote “Compensation cess is levied only on luxury or sin goods – tobacco products, coal, aerated water and automobiles.”
For the uninitiated, compensation cess is a tax charged over and above, highest GST rate (28%), on certain items (referred above) to compensate the states for any revenue shortfall post GST subsumed all the state tax, upto 2022.
This particular line or say statute in law proves that how the tax regime and overall governance still firmly remains in the hands of bureaucrats, and how political powers are failing to assert their will, at least in few areas.
While one can agree on levy of cess on tobacco products, to discourage and reduce their consumption, by making them more costly. Even it can be supported for aerated drinks even though Indian Beverage Association thinks differently, and they have their own reasons for that; they have written a letter to the finance minister and GST Council ahead of the GST meeting scheduled for 27th August. But Compensation Cess levied coal and automobiles is something which I can’t even fathom. To tag coal and automobiles as luxury or sin items is just ridiculous. Why do I say so? Contribution of thermal power plants, which use coal as their primary fuel to produce electricity is around 62% in India’s total energy requirement, means more than half, or in simple words every 62 homes out of 100 is still get electricity from thermal sources. If you depend so much on coal for your energy needs, there is no way you can tag it as luxury or sin good. No country in the world fully runs on clean (renewable) energy because currently, there is no technology to support it. Therefore, to classify coal as a luxury item is absurd and bereft of any logic.
Similarly, with automobiles. Cess is levied on the cars. Though it is less on small cars and more on SUVs, which are called luxury cars. Again, in absence of efficient public transport, in most Indian cities, to make cars a luxury item, doesn’t hold any water. You can still levy cess on big cars, as they are costly, and are often purchased as luxury items but to levy cess on small cars terming them as luxury good is absurd. Bureaucrats might say that making them cheap will only increase traffic on the road but in any case, is it less today? Few cars would be definitely added to the roads, no doubt, but I don’t think it will have an overall effect on Indian roads. They’ll continue to remain as choked as they are today, in future in absence of credible public transport alternatives.
Many people would like to travel by public transport, and in a city like Mumbai, people do because it takes you faster to your destination than your own vehicles, yet Mumbai roads are chocked. But where is the option in other cities. Mumbai locals just take you faster, they aren’t comfortable by any angle. A successful public transport has to be both comfortable as well as faster for people to adopt it and make it a success. In absence of it, people will continue to buy personal cars. In such a situation treating cars as luxury is uncalled for. Hope finance minister will address these anomalies in time to come.
जब से उत्तर प्रदेश के बिखरू कांड के अपराधी विकास दुबे का एनकाउंटर किया गया है तब से तमाम राजनीतिक जातिवादी पार्टियां अपना एजेंडा लेकर सामने आ गई है! कोई कह रहा है उत्तर प्रदेश में ब्राह्मणों को टारगेट किया जा रहा है, कोई कह रहा है हम भगवान परशुराम जी का मंदिर या मूर्ति बनवाएंगे. यह सेकुलर जातिवादी राजनीतिक पार्टियां देश एवं प्रदेश के कई हिस्सों में वर्षों से राज करती चली आ रही है कई प्रदेशों में इनकी सरकारी रही है. क्या तब से लेकर आज तक किसी भी प्रदेश या देश के किसी भी स्थान में इन सेकुलर नेताओं के द्वारा भगवान परशुराम जी का मंदिर बनवाया गया?
सवाल यह उठता है जब यह इतने सालों तक सत्ता में रहे हैं तो कभी इन्हें भगवान परशुराम की याद क्यों नहीं आई इसका सीधा-सीधा कारण यही है सदियों से सोया हुआ हिंदू समाज आज जागरूक हो गया है. देश में जब से एक राष्ट्रवादी सरकार बनी है और अन्य प्रदेशों में भी उसका प्रभाव दिखाई देने लगा है. और जनता ने इन सर्कुलर वामपंथी और समाजवादी पार्टियों को खदेड़ दिया है. तब से इन्हें अपने अस्तित्व का खतरा नजर आने लगा है यह सोच रहे हैं कि हम विलुप्त होने की कगार पर है सरकार में आने के लिए इनके पास ऐसा कोई ठोस एजेंडा नहीं है. अभी तो जनता जानती है कि अगर यह सत्ता में आएंगे तो सिवाय भ्रष्टाचार और गुंडागर्दी के अलावा कुछ नहीं करेंगे यह सब जानते हुए इन पार्टियों ने हिंदुओं की एकता को तोड़ने के प्रयास में कभी ब्राह्मण समाज को तोड़ने का प्रयास करते रहते हैं. कभी दलित समाज को तोड़ने का प्रयास करते रहते हैं एवं जितनी भी प्रभावशाली जातियां हैं जिनका वर्चस्व अपने भारत में है उन सभी जातियों को इन्होंने तोड़ने का प्रयास किया है. वर्तमान में उत्तर प्रदेश की राजनीति भी इसके इर्द-गिर्द घूमती चली आ रही है, ऐसी जातिवादी पार्टियों के नेताओं से मेरा सवाल है क्या वे उत्तर प्रदेश की पुलिस पर यह दबाव बना रहे हैं कि अगर अपराधी अगर ब्राह्मण है तो उसको पकड़ा ना जाए. अपराधी को पकड़ने से पहले उसकी जाति पूछी जाए और अगर वह गलती से ब्राह्मण निकलता है तो उसके ऊपर कोई कार्यवाही ना की जाए क्योंकि अगर कार्रवाई की जाएगी तो यह विरोधी पार्टियां उसको ब्राह्मणों के ऊपर शोषण बताकर राजनीति करेंगी.
जनता समझदार है सब जानती हैं. इसलिए इन जातिवादी नेताओं के चक्कर से जनता अब मुक्ति चाहती है. अपराधी केवल अपराधी होता है. वह अपराध करते समय किसी की जाति नहीं देखता. इसलिए इनका यह दबाव सरकार के ऊपर कोई काम नहीं आने वाला है. अपराधी अगर पकड़ा जाएगा तो उसकी सजा एक ही होगी जो कानून के तहत दी जाएगी!
जब पूरा भारत 10 मार्च को होली का रंग और गुलाल उड़ा रहा था तब चीन से चल कर कोरोना महामारी भारत में दस्तक दे चूका था। रंगो के उल्लास में भारत के लोगों ने कभी सोचा भी नहीं होगा कि कोरोना महामारी भारत को इस कदर जकड़ लेगा। उस समय तो वित्तीय वर्ष अपने समापन के तरफ बढ़ रहा था और देश के सारे औद्योगिक घराने अपने बचे हुए काम इसी वित्तीय वर्ष में खत्म करने और साथ में नए वित्तीय वर्ष के रूप-रेखा के संरचना में व्यस्त थे।
देश के सारे औद्योगिक घरानो के लोग और साथ में काम करने वाले कामगार निश्चिंत होकर बिना किसी डर भय के अपने घरों से दूर देश के कोने कोने में भारत के अर्थवयवस्था को मजबूत बनाने में दिन रात एक किये हुए थे। हालांकि इटली से कोरोना संक्रमण और उससे उन्होंने वाले मौत की जो तस्वीर निकल के आ रही थी, उससे संक्रमण की गम्भीरता का पता चल रहा था, परन्तु तब भी देश में इस संक्रमण को ले कर कोई खास सजगता नहीं दिख रही थी। लेकिन २२ मार्च को हमारे प्रधानमंत्री जी के द्वारा एक दिवसीय जनता कर्फ्यू की घोषणा के बाद कोरोना की गंभीरता को लोगो के द्वारा महसूस किया गया। सामाचार पत्रों और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया के माध्यम से दिन भर कोरोना की ख़बरें चलती रहीं और फिर २४ मार्च से देश भर में देशव्यापी लॉकडाउन की घोषणा कर दी गयी। देशव्यापी लॉक डाउन के घोषणा से पहले कई राज्यों में लॉक डाउन लग चूका था।
लॉक डाउन एक परिचित शब्द तो जरूर था जिसे हम लोग कहीं न कहीं पढ़ते जरूर थे, लेकिन इसका अपने जीवनकाल में लागू होते देखना एक अज्ञात खतरे के तरफ इशारा कर रहा था। शायद ही किसी ने कल्पना की होगी की इस लॉक डाउन को लम्बे समय तक भोगना होगा। लेकिन सरकार के द्वारा व्यापक प्रचार से कहीं न कहीं लोगों के मन में डर ख़त्म करने की कोशिश जरूर हुई। सम्पूर्ण लॉक डाउन भारत जैसे देश के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा कदम था। देश के चलते अर्थवयवस्था को अचानक से रोक देना एक साहसिक कदम था जिसका प्रभाव लम्बे समय तक झेलना पड़ सकता है। अगले दिन से पूरा देश जहाँ था वहीँ थम गया। सारे कल कारखाने थम गए, राष्ट्रीय राज्यमार्गों पर चलने वाली सभी बड़े और छोटे वाहन जहाँ थे वहीँ रॉक दिए गए, उम्मीद थी की इस व्यापक लॉक डाउन से कहीं न कहीं कोरोना के बढ़ते हुए खतरे को रोका जा सकता है। विश्व के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र की रीढ़ माने जाने वाली रेल गाडी को भी कोरोना के असर से दो चार होना पड़ा जिससे ट्रेने भी थम गई। ये लम्हा ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा था जैसे चलती हुई सांस रोक दी गयी हो, बच्चे के मोबाइल में वीडियो गेम खेलते वक़्त मोबाइल हैंग हो गयी हो, अथवा टीवी पर चल रहे प्रोग्राम अचानक से तक्नीकी खराबी के कारण रुक गयी हो।
जो भाई बंधू अपने घरों से दूर लेकिन अपने परिवार के साथ देश के दूसरे हिस्से में अपना जीवन यापन कर रहे थे वो तो अपने घर टीवी में कोरोना महामारी पर चल रहे प्रोग्राम को देख रहे थे, लेकिन देश में एक बड़ा तबका ऐसा भी था जो रोज कमाता और रोज खाता था। काम पर गए तो घर में चूल्हा जले और जिस दिन काम नहीं मिले, उस दिन घर में खाना कैसे बनेगा, यह एक सवाल खड़ा रहता हैं। शीत लहर हो, गर्म लू के थपेड़े हो या भारी बरसात जो आये दिन अपनी नए कीर्तिमान बना रही है, इनको अपने घरों से निकल कर दो जून के रोटी के लिए जाना ही पड़ता है। ऐसे लोगो के आगे लॉक डाउन एक बहुत बड़ी विपदा के रूप में आ पड़ी थी जो उनके अस्तित्व पर ही अब सवाल खड़ा कर रही थी। ये ऐसे असंगठित क्षेत्र के लोग थे जिनके पास अपने घरों से दूर दिहाड़ी मजदूरी का ही सहारा था। ऐसी घडी में वो लोग तो न घर के ही थे न ही घाट के, क्योकि सारे रोजगार के साधन बंद हो चुके थे, आने जाने के लिए सारे ट्रेनें और बस बंद हो चुकी थी और जो जहाँ थे उनको वही पड़े रहना था।
ऐसी परिस्थति में बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश, झारखण्ड और बंगाल के कामगार जो पंजाब, हरियाणा, राजस्थान, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र, और दक्षिण के राज्योँ में अपना गुजर बसर कर रहे थे, उनको सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित किया। उनके पास वापसी का कोई साधन नहीं था, था तो सिर्फ लॉक डाउन के ख़त्म होने का इंतज़ार जिसे वो अपनी जीवन बसर शुरू कर सके या अपने घर को वापस हो सके। लेकिन निकट भविष्य में तो सहारा भगवान भरोसे ही था। सरकार के द्वारा बहुत सारे राहत पैकजों की घोषणा तो हुई, लेकिन तत्कालीन लाभ मिल पाना मुश्किल सा दिख रहा था। आकड़ों की माने तो जून के मध्य तक 30 लाख से अधिक बिहारी मजदुर अन्य राज्यों से अपने घर वापस आ गए जो मुख्यतः असंगठित क्षेत्र में कार्यरत थे। हालांकि वापस आये मात्र 30 लाख संख्या को देखते हुए बिहार के बाहर प्रवासी कामगारों की संख्या का आकलन करना असंभव सा है।
हमारे देश ने वो भी मंजर इस लॉक डाउन के दौरान देखा कि किस तरीके से प्रवासी मजदूर चाहे वो किसी भी प्रदेश के हों अपनी जिंदगी बचाने के लिए बिना कुछ सोचे समझे रेल गाडी के पटरियों के किनारे किनारे, राष्ट्रीय राज्यमार्गो पर पैदल चलते हुए दिखे। कुछ लोग अकेले चल रहे थे तो कुछ झुंड में। रास्ते कितने लम्बे होंगे, बिना परवाह किये चल पड़े थे अपने घरों के तरफ इस उम्मीद में की आखिर वहां पहुँच का वहां की सरकार उनकी कुछ सुध लेगी और उनके जीविकोपार्जन का उपाय करेगी।
जब कई राज्यों से ये कामगार सरकार से अपने घर वापसी का गुहार लगा रहे थे और अपनी मांग पूर्ति के लिए सड़को पे उतर कर प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे तब सरकार ने उनके घर वापसी का प्रबध करते हुए स्पेशल श्रमिक ट्रेनों का संचालन शुरू किया और जून के मध्य तक करीब 1500 ट्रेनें बिहार के कई जिलों में श्रमिकों को पहुचाई।
केंद्र की सरकार ने प्रवासी श्रमिकों के लिए ट्रेनें चलवा कर अपना काम तो पूरा किया लेकिन इतनी बड़ी संख्या में लौट रहे इन प्रवासी श्रमिकों को अपने राज्य में रोजगार उपलध करवाना बिहार सरकार के लिए तो बहुत ही टेडी खीर थी। सब जानते हैं की बिहार में संसाधन की खासी कमी है, न ही कोई बड़े उद्योग धंधे है, न उत्पादन शक्ति जिसके कारण सबको रोजगार मुहैय्या करवा पाना बहुत मुश्किल है। जो थोड़े बहुत कंस्ट्रकशन के कार्य चल भी रहे थे वो भी लॉक डाउन के कारण बंद कर दिए गए थे। साथ ही साथ दूसरी समस्या तो ये भी थी जो श्रमिक और कामगार लौट रहे थे वो विभिन्न क्षत्रों के कुशल और अकुशल कामगार थे और उनके कौशल के मुताबिक रोजगार उपलब्ध करवाना बहुत ही मुश्किल काम था ।
बिहार सरकार ने स्किल मैपिंग की व्यवस्था की जिसे लौट रहे श्रमिकों की स्किल मैपिंग करवा कर उनके मुताबिक रोजगार की व्यवस्था की जाये। लेकिन सरकार इतने बड़े संख्या में स्किल मैपिंग करवा कर उनको रोजगार देगी कहाँ। मुझे इससे यह फायदा जरूर समझ आता है की सरकार के पास एक डाटा बैंक जरूर तैयार हो जाएगा। सरकारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार जून के मध्य तक करीब 29 लाख श्रमिकों की स्किल मैपिंग की गई जिसमे से करीब 18 लाख कुशल श्रमिक पाए गए और इनमे से भी कंस्ट्रकशन वर्कर सबसे ज्यादा थी। सरकार की योजना भी यह ही थी की इन लोगों का स्किल मैपिंग करवा कर उनके अनुसार उद्योगों को बुला कर बिहार के अंदर रोजगार के संभावना तैयार की जायेगी। लेकिन ये जब होगा तब देखा जाएगा, फिलहाल तो यह ठन्डे बस्ते में डाला जा चूका है। क्या मनरेगा जैसे सरकारी नीति, जो मौजूदा श्रमिकों को पुरे वर्ष रोजगार उपलब्ध नहीं करवा पातीं, उनके साथ इनको सामाहित किया जा सकेगा, ये एक यक्ष प्रश्न बन कर उन श्रमिकों के आगे खड़ा था जो इस उम्मीद में अपने घर को लौटें थे की घर पे जा कर काम धंधा करके अपना जिंदगी चलाएंगे।
साथ ही साथ इस बात को भी नाकारा नहीं जा सकता की जो श्रमिक भाई जिस राज्यों से वापस आये थे वहाँ के उद्योग धंधों को भी भारी झटका लगा था। लॉक डाउन में दिए गए ढील के बाद जब फैक्टरियां दुबारा से स्टार्ट किये गए, कंस्ट्रकशन कार्योँ को दुबारा पटरी पर लाने की कोशिश शुरू की गयी, तब इन श्रमिकों के न होने से उनको भी नुक्सान पहुँचने लगा। तुरंत उनके पास भी कोई उपाय दिख नहीं रहा था। पंजाब और हरियाणा में धान की बुआई शुरू होनी थी। बिहारी मजदूरों के अभाव में उनके कृषि कार्यों पर बहुत बुरा असर पड़ना शुरू हुआ। एक तरीके से कहे तो सारा देश उथल पुथल के माहौल से गुजर रहा था। मई महीने में बिहार के खगड़िया जिले से करीब 600 के आस पास श्रमिक इस लॉक डाउन के अवधी में ही दक्षिण के राज्यों के राइस मिल में काम करने चले गए। गरीब श्रमिक अपने रोजी रोजगार के नहीं होने से परेशान थे तो उद्योग पति इन श्रमिकों के नहीं होने से बंद पड़े उद्योग में होने वाले नुकसान से। समझने की बात ये थी की श्रमिक और उद्योग एक दूसरे के पूरक हैं। बिहार जैसे राज्यों में संशाधन में अभाव के कारण सस्ते मानव संशाधन की उपलब्धि उन राज्योँ को मिल रहा है जहाँ सम्पूर्ण मात्रा में संशाधन उपलब्ध है और कम पैसों में रोजी रोटी के लिए वैसे राज्यों में बिहार के लोग जाने पर विवश हैं।
ऐसा देखा जा रहा है की जुलाई से ही बिहार के राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गो के ऊपर दूसरे राज्यों के लक्ज़री बस आ जा रहे हैं। वो बसें टूरिजम के लिए नहीं बल्कि ऐसे श्रमिकों को लेने के लिए दूसरे राज्यों से आ रहीं हैं और उनको लेकर वापस जा रहीं हैं। मजेदार बात ये है की जो कामगार किसी तरीके से ट्रेनों में बड़ी मुश्किल से अपने घरों को लौटे थे उन्हें ही लेने दूसरे राज्यों से अब लक्ज़री बसे उनको लेने आ रही है। क्या ये उन गरीब कामगारों के साथ मज़ाक नहीं है। इस मजाक के वावजूद बिहार सरकार अपने हाँथ पर हाँथ धरे बैठा हैं और बिहारवासी देख रहे हैं कि कैसे ये श्रमिक, जो अपने घरों को पैदल या ट्रेनों से लॉक डाउन में अपने आजीविका के लिए लौटे थे, वापस उन प्रदेशों से भेजे हुए लक्ज़री बसों में बैठ कर जा रहे हैं। ये तो राज्य सरकार के लिए सबसे बड़ी संकट की घडी कही जा सकती है क्योकि सरकार से उम्मीद के साथ ये कामगार लौटे थे।
अब वो तो ठगा सा महसूस कर रहे होंगे क्योकि सरकार ने शुरुवात में तो बड़े जोर शोर से स्किल मैपिंग की बात की थी लेकिन बाद में उसपर बात करनी बंद कर दी गयी। शायद सरकार को ये समझ आय गया होगा की उनके लिए रोजगार मुहैया करवाना आसान नहीं होगा। साथ ही साथ जो श्रमिक वापस लौटे थे उनके मन में सरकार के प्रति संतोष तो व्याप्त था नहीं, क्योकि सरकार के कहीं न कहीं नाकामियों के कारण उनको दूसरे राज्यों में जाकर रहना पड़ रहा था और लॉक डाउन के दौरान उनको कोई खास सहयोग मिलता दिख नहीं रहा था। बिहार सरकार जरूर बिहारी प्रवाशी मजदूरों को एक हजार रूपये भेजे रहे थे लेकिन वो भी उनके व्य्वस्था को पूरी तरीके से अमली जामा पहनने के किये काफी नहीं था।
ये भी कहना गलत नहीं होगा की जो प्रवाशी मजदूर वापस आये थे वो अल्पदृष्टि के हैं। बाहर से आये श्रमिकों के लिए बिहार चुनाव का यह वर्ष सरकार के ऊपर रोजगार उपलध करवाने के लिए दबाव बनाने का उपुक्त समय था, जिसे वो वापस जा कर गवाँ रहे हैं। इसीलिए इनके वापसी से सरकार अंदर ही अंदर जरूर प्रसन्न होगी क्योकि उनका यहाँ रहना सरकार पर दूरगामी प्रभाव डालने के लिए काफी था।
आखिर में मेरा प्रश्न इन श्रमिकों वाले अन्य राज्य के उधोगपतियों की दूरदर्शिता पर भी हैं। उद्योगपति, जो उतने दूर से ऐसे लक्ज़री बसे भेज सकते हैं, वो इन कामगारों को अपने पास रख कर इनको दो जुन की रोटी उपलबध क्यूँ नहीं करवा सकते थे। अगर राज्य सरकार आत्मनिर्भर भारत के प्रावधानों का उपयोग करके अगर कल-कारखाने या उधोग-धंधे लगवाती तो इन प्रवासी श्रमिकों को अपने प्रदेश में ही रोजगार मिलता और इस तरह बिहारी श्रमिकों को शोषण से बचाया जा सकता। अभी तो मजदूरों के लिए सिर्फ एक ही बात मन में आती है की “आया राम और गया राम”।

Both are, however, on the same page when it comes to diatribe against Hindutva and Modi but while Ram provides a no-nonsense assessment, Raj showers encomium on Rahul.

Ram questions can Rahul “who so lamentably failed to take on Narendra Modi twice in succession succeed on his third try?’” when in a recent poll 66% nominated Modi and a meager 8% Rahul. Ram is spot on to note that Rahul has not demonstrated ability to lead a government or a corporate entity or even running a small business.
For Ram, Rahul can at the most be considered “a well-intentioned dilettante”. He ascribes the 2014 and 2019 debacle to Rahul’s lack of command over Hindi but does not tell us why would Congress win two terms under Sonia’s Presidentship prior to 2014 given that her Hindi is worse than Rahul’s. Ram considers that Rahul’s charge of stifling opposition, Chinese incursion or questioning Modi’s integrity was a blunder because Modi-backers could easily counter it by citing 1975 emergency, 1962 China war defeat, and the Bofors scandal.
Ram identifies five drawbacks which make Rahul unsuitable for Prime Ministership. These are: lack of political intelligence, Hindi difficulty, no administrative experience, no stamina and tenacity and dynastic- not self-made- background. Anyone endowed with commonsense would concur. Ram suggests two solutions: chose a non-dynasty leader to head the Congress and encourage homecoming of leaders- YSR, Pawar and Mamata- who deserted the party.
Ram castigates dynasty sycophants. “The sycophants surrounding Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi always tell us that the party will not survive unless Sonia or one of her children were to lead it’’. Ram considers that a non-dynasty leader would be more effective than Rahul. Ram is astonishingly courageous in writing “The bitter truth that all opponents of the current regime must face is that presenting Rahul Gandhi as a Prime Minister-in-waiting only plays into the hands of Narendra Modi and the BJP’’. Ram’s assessment is correct but he underestimates the power of sycophants.
Diatribe on Hindutva and Modi
How can Ram write anything without spewing venom on Hindutva and Modi? His article begins with ‘’ those who oppose Hindutva seek to recover the founding principles of the freedom struggle, such as religious and linguistic pluralism, gender and caste equality, a critical attitude to state power, and an open-ness to other cultures and civilizations: all principles which Hindutva threatens to abandon or overthrow’’. He ends with these words “for in six years as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has done grievous damage to India. He and his government have undermined our economy, divided our society, and degraded India in the eyes of the world”.
Interestingly, Ram does not provide evidence to support the above claims as he did for his claims about Rahul. Has Ram not read ancient Indian history? Open door policy towards cultures and civilizations existed millennium before freedom struggle. If it was not so, a rebel such as Buddha would not have been given a dais in Varanasi way back in 500 BCE. Hindus never beheaded those with dissenting views. It is cultural and civilizational idiosyncrasy of the Middle East, Roman and Marxist lands. The oldest Mosque in India, (which is as old as the one in Mecca) or the oldest Church were constructed when Hindu Kings ruled. Parsees escaping religious persecution sought and were provided refuge by a Hindu King and so were the Jewish people. Does Ram know that the Prophets family was provided asylum by Raja Dahir– a Hindu King of Sindh? Consequently, the contention that it was freedom struggle that opened India to cultures, is absolute hogwash. It’s a worry that a historian pushes such a claim.
Furthermore, how has Modi regime hampered gender and caste equality? Isn’t empowering Muslim women by abolishing triple talaq a progressive step? Or does Ram consider that not empowering Muslim women as the Congress did – purely guided by electoral considerations- constitutes gender equality?Again, with an OBC as the Prime Minister and a Dalit as President how does caste equality gets hampered? Or does the drama of a Janevu Dhari Brahmin during election equals caste equality in Ram’s lexicon?
Ram projects the caste issue as though before Modi’s arrival in 2014 everything was hunky-dory. It is true that as per the National Crime Bureau Records there is some increase in incidence of crimes against scheduled caste as a proportion to their population- from 19.57 (2013), 20.30 (2015) to 21.30 (2018). It would be alarmist, however, to claim that caste issues popped up after Modi ascension to power.
Could Ram tell us how has Modi negated religious or linguistic pluralism? Or does Ram mean that religious pluralism means minority appeasement? Or does he think that religious pluralism is achieved only by holding an Iftar party in Rashtrapati Bhavan or a beef festival at the JNU?
Ram provides no evidence whatsoever to support his assertion that Modi has done “grievous damage”. It appears to be a figment of his Marxist imagination in all probability. Furthermore, Modi has not undermined economy, it is the Chinese virus that has damaged the economy of every country including that of Australia.
Rajmohan’s abhishekam
We know that Rajmohan Gandhi belongs to the dynasty “sycophants” tribe as Ram describes it. True to his swadharma, instead of providing an objective analysis of Rahul, Raj performs the Abhishekam on Rahul. From beginning till end his article is full of praise for Rahul and similar to Ram minces no words in his pathological hatred towards Hindutva and Modi.
He notes, battle against Hindutva is not just an electoral but a daily battle. He paints Modi regime with a broad-brush. A few examples would suffice. He asserts that pillar of democracy is being systematically hacked under Modi. He notes “we see the Supreme Court deferring critical petitions that involve the lives and rights of millions”. But doesn’t Rajmohan, know that the judiciary works independently of the executive. If the Supreme Court is delaying cases then how can Modi or Hindutva be responsible? Has Modi subjugated the judiciary by sidelining senior judges to appoint, for example, A. N. Ray as the dynasty did during emergency? Furthermore, if Parliament is unwilling or unable to debate critical issues then he should question Rahul– a parliamentarian – and his colleagues why they failed in their duty as the opposition to hold Modi to account. In labelling a charge that “policemen chasing the kin but not the killers of a murdered person” is Rajmohan referring to the policemen of Congress government in Maharashtra in the recent Sushant Singh murder case?
He notes 2024 will be a difficult battle politically because “where will the opposition parties find the money?”. He admits thereby that for the Congress Party election was only a “money game” which explains the financial scandals of the UPA regime. No wonder the party crossed all limits of propriety by signing agreement with the Chinese Communist Party. Even the Supreme Court found it strange.
Rajmohan applauds the Election Commission for holding free and fair elections so far, thereby admitting that the drubbing Congress Party got in two successive elections was “fair”. But since free and fair elections have worked to Modi’s advantage why would Modi meddle with the Election Commission?
Rajmohan asserts that Rahul is fighting the battle month by month heroically. He notes “anyone working for liberty, equality and fraternity in India is my ally today’’. Why did Rajmohan not undertake indefinite fast as his grandfather would have when dynasty stripped Indian’s of liberty during emergency or when Rahul tore off cabinet decision? Did he question why India had the ignominy of topping the world in open defecation when dynasty ruled? Why rural poor women had to defecate in the open? Why were the poor deprived of basic financial services or primary health care? Addressing these abominable legacy issues has been Modi’s grand achievements in less than 6 years. Does Rajmohan mean “fraternity” sharing the loot in 2G, August Westland and several other scams?
Ram and Raj both are on the same page when it comes to philippic against Modi and Hindutva but while Ram provides an objective assessment of Rahul, Rajmohan, performs Rahul’s abhishekam!

The Divided States of America is facing a civil war in the election year. Ever since the black lives matter and anti Trump protests took the form of street side riots and fights several videos related to loot and plunder of neighborhood shops have come out on social media and news platforms.
While the world is fighting a pandemic and practicing social distancing, citizens are exercising their constitutional right to protest against racially targeted killings. On the other hand a section of society which is neither victim nor the perpetrator of targeted violence is undertaking organized loot as a new form of expressing rebellion against established order.
Human society evolved from jungles to villages and later built mega cities, created social orders and economies so that people may live in harmony and prosper by taking part in economic activities that thrive on interdependence of people from various genders, religions, races etc. The latest series of loots without shame are an indication of the deteriorated state of human mind or a Reverse Evolution or Anti Darwinism as I call it.
Civil disobedience is a mark of a civilized society that wants to make itself heard whenever there is injustice. While in a war with an enemy nation different rules are applicable on the battle field, the fights and differences between heterogeneous communities or ideologies within a nation are to be taken up through civil arguments, litigation and democratic process of participation.
Expression of dissent through violence is first type of criminal behaviour. The second and more dangerous type is to support for the same, third and worst being normalizing violence as a form of social justice. The latest display of violence and greed through destruction, criminal disobedience, loot and lack of empathy for businesses that thrive on hard work and ethics shows a lot of rot in the criminal justice system of United States and civilizational values of the citizens of the free world across genders and races.
Those who indulge in criminal disobedience as a method of expression of their dissent to an act of violence or injustice should be dealt with iron hands and made to rot in prison cells for disrupting the life and order of common man who has nothing to do with the injustice that was a result of the decisions of a handful men.
Those who indulge in taking democracy as hostage and encourage violence as a method of dissent are often found in their air conditioned Politburo rooms. While their radicalized, misguided loose canons fire in the neighborhood and die as pawns in the Game of Thrones played by puppet masters also known by popular jargons synonymous with hypocrisy and cowardice. This is a relevant case study of global politburo politics in light of events of US having been copy pasted in London, Delhi and Bangalore too.

Dear Bloomsbury, I am writing this because I must.
A bookworm, or a person who loves reading goes through different phases through In their reading journeys. When we start out, it is a direct conversation between us and the writers, a sort of hello! through the pages of the book; the sheer wonder of this extraordinary means of communication, that spans centuries. Gradually, we learn that writing a book and getting it out there for the whole world to read it, is something that would not be possible without Publication Houses, much like yourself.
I have been a Potterhead all my life, and I was introduced to your publication house, when I saw your logo printed at the bottom of one of my most beloved books, at the age of thirteen. Then I read up on you and I found out that you accepted Harry Potter after it had been rejected by 12 different publishing houses. My respect and admiration for you grew, unprecedented. Harry Potter saved my life, and I thank you for bringing it to me. I went on reading the books published under your banner, without two thoughts about their worth; and I loved them. Now, I feel disappointed. Cheated. Rejected. Much as the author of Delhi Riots 2020. I do not know what made you back out of publishing their book. I do not know what contract you had with the author. All I know is that you breached it.
Please don’t get me wrong, you have every right to refuse publication of works that you do not deem satisfactory according to your standards of quality and content. But to do so, after a piece of writing has passed all levels of approvals and is due for publication, just because you are afraid of backlash? To refuse publication of a book, just because you were afraid of being singled out as apparent bigots or supposed fascists? This is not what a publication house should stand for; Publication houses must be like the Newspaper offices of the gone era. Printing an idea, no matter how astoundingly obscure or hated. Printing an idea and allowing the masses to form an opinion after they have read it.
How is it anything but bigotry if you choose to publish one narrative but not the other? How do we know for sure, that the two books do indeed have a different narrative? Why did you allow anyone to silence one voice over the other? What happened to the sanctity of an agreement? What happened to the trust you showed in the story when you chose to publish Harry Potter? Do you know what Harry did when the entire magical community was against him as he begged them to understand that he was telling the truth about Lord Voldemort? He stood his ground. He accepted the backlash and he stood for what he knew was right. Do you even read the books you publish anymore?
I know, the fictional world is nothing like this world. There are innumerable problems with this world, and we cannot magic our problems away. But Books are ideas. Books are sacred. I hope you know by now that refusing publication of the book did not stop publication; the book will be published and will get out and spread to the masses whether you had a hand in printing it or not. And I will admit that losing out on one book will not have any significant impact on your profits as on today. But, be warned that it will have an impact in the way writers approach you in the future with their works, knowing that at any moment, you could turn your backs on their life’s work and leave them stranded with the pieces of broken contracts and broken promises. It will have an impact in the way the masses will perceive you now, as not a reputable publishing house, intending to give a non-biased platform to all to air their views and to speak their thoughts; but as a publishing house that chooses to bury some voices in order to facilitate certain others.
The only thing that the world has gained by this suppression of freedom of speech, is an audience clamouring to get their hands on this book, to know what it contains, to see the truths that this book speaks of, that so many people wanted buried. And the sad thing is, now you have created an environment that is already biased. Now, even if the book is not accurate, or is trash, it will be read by millions and upheld by millions as the truth that so many people wanted buried. You have set a bad precedent for the publishing industry. It would have been better to publish the book and let the masses decide whether they liked it or not; let the masses decide whether it was worthy of the attention it is gaining now. A true criticism of any work can only be done after it has been read and observed and debated.
Books are ideas. And in the words of the unequivocal Cobb, from the movie Inception, “An idea is like a virus. Resilient. Highly contagious. And even the smallest seed of an idea can grow. It can grow to define or destroy you.”
Let’s get to the point straight, if anything Leftist group says whether it is scandalous, derogatory doesn’t matter, if came under the scanner it is a violation of freedom of speech and expression but anything comes from right wing which seems to destabilize the narrative that they had built will surely be attacked by them and freedom of speech and expression doesn’t matter then.
Exactly the perfect scenario happened last day. There is a lot of discussion going on in the case of Prashant Bhushan. Left-liberals are putting their heart-out to make Prashant Bhushan, saviour of free speech but at same time this marxist-liberal nexus bullied Bloomsbury-India publisher to rescind the publication of the book. The book called ‘DELHI RIOTS 2020: The Untold Story’ is authored by Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Prerna Malhotra, which was based on factual data gathered from ground investigations, interviews with various affected people. This is their level of tolerance when comes to freedom of speech and expression.
How they did it?
They started an online campaign through social media platforms and various leftist authors including Atish Taseer requested the scottish historian William darlymple to stop this from happening. Darlymple on twitter replied that he and several other Bloomsbury authors are onto this. After that, the publication house crumbled on pressure and terminated the book.
Not only that, this publication house before published a book called “Shaheen Bagh from a protest to a movement” but also in that book they eulogized Tahir Hussain, who was the mastermind behind this riot according to the police chargesheet, and declared him innocent.
Many reputed authors like Former IAS officer Sanjay Dixit who had earlier published two books with them has cancelled his upcoming book. JNU professor Anand Ranganathan also did the same. Famous Hindi journalist and author Sandeep Deo had published many books with them and more titles are coming, he also decided not to work with them in future. Apart from that economist Sanjeev Sanyal and writer Harsh Madhusudan vowed not to publish a book with them.
Authors of the book on a virtual meeting yesterday declared that they will go to court for their freedom of speech but if Bloomsbury will not publish it they will self publish it. This case busted the minacious nexus that controlled the most academia and publication industry and their evil-intention.
It is clear that they will make sure that only their voice can be heard, anything come against them or anything critical about their opinions will be shut down.
Those who are self-proclaimed idol of free-speech and expression are themselves the most intolerant and of course a danger to Indic civilizations.

This is the copybook case how fascism works. If one looked at the campaigning which they built and ultimately led to the de-platformation of the book is the way fascism works.First they tried to build a consensus among people that the book was false propaganda and then started putting pressure on publication house to stop publishing.
A strong response
India showed the way how to handle these bullies who things that they control the power. The book “Delhi riot 2020: The untold story now will be published by an indigenous publication house Garuda Prakashani. Not only their intention to stop the book was thrashed but their silly ways gave the book enough marketing it needed.
There have been a lot talking about the concentration camps of Nazis that were established to keep communist political opponents in captivity and systematic extermination of Jews population of the German empire, Poland and rest of the word. Almost everyone is aware of the horror of the activities in those camps but certainly, Himmler’s concentration camps took away the attention of Stalin’s Gulags.
There is not dispute that ghettos were among the cruelest places where people were tortured, gassed and murdered but Gulag’s labor camps were not different.
Gulag was a communist government agency in USSR which used to control the vast network of forced labor camps in the dictatorial regime of Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin.
The camps were unequivocally established on the steering of Lenin after the hostile takeover of monarchy from Russian Tsar Nicholas II. Tsar and his family were abducted by communists, tortured and murdered in a guest house. This was a planned murder. Later in 1998, 7 years after the collapse of the USSR. Tsar and his family were given a military honor burial. Let’s end this story and return to the labor camps.
The number of inmates in the camps reached its peak between 1930 to 1950 during the rule of Stalin. Most of the construction work in the interim was done by prisoners.
We’ll address the camps by the name of administrating agency Gulag as most of the English-language speakers do. The Gulags housed a wide range of inmates, from criminals to political leaders, from businessmen to scientists. NKVD was the major agency sending inmates into the camps.
Official records indicate that almost 18 million people were housed in the Gulags camps and almost 1.6 million of them perished. This has always been a dispute among historians. They deny the reliability of data and heavily rely on literary sources that come to a higher estimation.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature and camp survivor linked the scattered camps to a chain of islands where people worked to death.
As of March 1940, there were 53 camps and 423 labour colonies. At the beginning of the year 1953, there were 2.4 million humans in the camps of which more than 500 thousand were political prisoners.
Joking about the Soviet government and officials could pave the way to Gulags for people. Almost half the political prisoners were kept in labor camps without a judicial trial.
Although the Gulag was officially established on April 25, 1930, the forced labor camps were being utilized by Lenin long before to keep political opponents, democrats and other people opposing the communism.
Stalin’s Soviet industrialization was fueled by forced labor. The major objectives of Gulags were the exploitation of natural resources and colonization of remote areas of Russia.

सूत्रों की मानें तो अब कांग्रेस पार्टी की अंतरिम अध्यक्षा कभी भी अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे सकती हैं। सोनिया गांधी के द्वारा लगातार यह कहा जा रहा है कि अब पार्टी को नए अध्यक्ष की तलाश करनी चाहिए।
आपको बता दें कि कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष के तौर पर सोनिया गांधी का एक साल पूरा हो चुका है। पार्टी के नेता यहां तक आरोप लगा रहे हैं कि सोनिया गांधी अपने खराब स्वास्थ्य एवं राहुल गांधी द्वारा अपने अध्यक्ष ना होने के बहाने लगाने के कारण पार्टी में कोई भी फैसला नहीं हो पा रहा है।
सोमवार को कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी की अहम बैठक होने वाली है परंतु इससे पहले ही पार्टी युवा एवं प्रगतिशील और वरिष्ठ एवं रूढ़िवादी गुट में बँटने लगी है। पार्टी के करीबियों की मानें तो कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने पार्टी की कार्यशैली पर सवाल उठाए हैं। कई नेताओं का तो यहां तक मानना है कि पार्टी में सही समय पर फैसले के अभाव के कारण ही मध्य प्रदेश में सरकार एवं ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया जैसे युवा नेताओं से हाथ धोना पड़ा।
इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार कांग्रेस के दिग्गजों द्वारा लिखा पत्र बीजेपी की प्रगति की ओर इशारा करता है। उन्होंने यह भी स्वीकार किया कि देश के युवा का वोट नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ है। पत्र यह भी बताता है कि कांग्रेस का जनाधार जमीनी स्तर पर लगातार घट रहा है। युवाओं का विश्वास खोना चिंता का विषय है। यह पत्र करीब दो हफ्ते पहले भेजा गया था। पत्र के जरिए बड़े नेताओं ने एक ‘पूर्णकालिक और प्रभावी नेतृत्व’ लाने की मांग की है। साथ ही पार्टी के पुनरुद्धार के लिए सामूहिक रूप से संस्थागत नेतृत्व तंत्र की तत्काल स्थापना के लिए भी कहा गया है।
पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर करने वालों में कपिल सिब्बल, शशि थरूर, राज बब्बर (यूपी), अरविंदर सिंह लवली, हरियाणा के पूर्व स्पीकर कुलदीप शर्मा से लेकर राज्यसभा में विपक्ष के नेता गुलाम नबी आजाद,आदि शामिल हैं। पत्र में यह भी साफ तौर पर कहा गया है कि लोकसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस की करारी हार के बाद भी कोई आत्मनिरीक्षण नहीं किया गया जिसके कारण पार्टी की लोकप्रियता में गिरावट आई है।
सूत्रों के हवाले से बताया गया है कि पत्र के जवाब में एक प्रमुख संगठनात्मक फेरबदल की योजना बनाई जा रही है। सोमवार को होने वाली बैठक में उसी की घोषणा होने की उम्मीद है।
आपको बता दें कांग्रेस में अंदरूनी विवाद थम कर भी थम नहीं रहा ,जहां कुछ नेता राहुल गांधी की पुनः ताजपोशी कराना चाहते हैं तो वहीं कुछ गांधी परिवार से इतर किसी नए चेहरे की कवायद कर रहे हैं।
अब समय की मांग पर कांग्रेस के कद्दावर नेताओं का कहना है कि पार्टी में बड़े फेरबदल करके ही कांग्रेस को लगातार हो रहे नुकसान से बचाया जा सकता है और यह मांग कांग्रेस की कार्यसमिति की बैठक से ऐन पहले की गई है।
उदारवादी-वामपंथी कहे जाने वाले अर्बन नक्सली और इस्लामिक कट्टरपंथियों का गठजोड़ वैसे तो बहुत पुराना है मगर वर्तमान परिस्थितियों ने इन्हें और भी इकठ्ठा कर दिया है। केरल के महामहिम राज्यपाल और विद्वान श्री आरिफ मोहम्मद खान साहब अक्सर कहते हैं कि उन्होंने आज़ादी से पहले पाकिस्तान की मांग करने वाले कई इस्लामी कट्टरपंथियों को रातो रात आज़ादी के बाद उदारवादी-वामपंथी बनते हुए देखा है। हिन्दुस्तान का बंटवारा करने के बाद पूरे भारत को पाकिस्तान बनाने वाली सोच रखने वाले इस्लामी कट्टरपंथियों ने भी उदारवादी वामपंथियों का झूठा चोला पहन लिया। इन्हीं कट्टरपंथियों की सोच से जन्मा सेक्युलरिज्म का षडयंत्र भारत के देशवासियों को ही अपनी जड़ों से उखाड़ कर इस्लामी कट्टरपंथी सोच के लिए सहुनुभूति जगाने का काम करने लगा। ये लॉबी अकादमिक जगत में इतिहास लेखन के नाम पर झूठ परोसने का काम करता रहा, फिल्मों में इसी पॉलिसी के तहत आतंकियों का मानवीयकरण और हिन्दू धर्मावलंबियों का आतंकी करण होता रहा। और ऐसे कामों के लिए इन्हें विदेशों से कभी तो एनजीओ तो कभी हवाला के माध्यम से फंडिंग भी मिलती रही।
राम मंदिर आंदोलन के साथ सेक्युलरिज्म के नाम पर साम्प्रदायिकता का ज़हर फैलाने के विरोध में एक मुहिम शुरू हुआ। इस मुहिम को अप्रत्याशित सफलता मिलनी शुरू हुई और देखते ही देखते अटल जी के नेतृत्व में केंद्र में एनडीए सरकार बन गई। हिंदू जागरण के इस नए अध्याय से आहत पाकिस्तान परस्त इस्लामी कट्टरपंथी और उन्हीं के उदारवादी वाम समूह ने भगवा आतंकवाद का खयाली हौवा बनाने का प्रपंच चलाया। उस समय हुए गोधरा काण्ड के फलस्वरूप फैले गुजरात दंगों को इन्होंने हाथो हाथ इसी मंशा से लपक लिया।
गोधरा काण्ड की पूरी तरह से अनदेखी करके गुजरात दंगों को इन्होंने उल्टा राष्ट्रवादी ताकतों द्वारा ही रचित एक साजिश के रूप में स्थापित करने की कोशिश की। आज भी गुजरात दंगों को 800 मुसलमानों और 250 हिन्दुओं की पीड़ादायक हत्या की जगह एक खयाली आंकड़ा बनाकर 2000 मुसलमानों की हत्या के नाम से जाना जाता है। आज भी हमारे याददाश्त से 40 महिलाएं और बच्चों के साथ साथ 60 तीर्थयात्रियों के ज़िंदा जला डालने के आंकड़ों को नकारकर यही लॉबी इन दंगों को प्रिंट और विज़ुअल मीडिया में पूरी तरह से एक भगवा आतंकवाद का नमूना बनाकर पेश करती रही है। सारे रिपोर्ट्स और यहां तक कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला इनके खिलाफ आने के बावजूद इन लोगों ने गुजरात दंगों को बीजेपी के द्वारा एक प्रायोजित भगवा हिंसा के रूप में स्थापित करने में सफलता हासिल कर लिया।
इसी सफलता को दोहराने का षडयंत्र इस बार फिर दिल्ली में इन्हीं शक्तियों के द्वारा किया गया। गुजरात दंगों के तौर पर पहले इन शक्तियों ने हिन्दुओं के खिलाफ हिंसा करके दंगा करने की शुरुआत की। और उसी प्लान के तहत बाद में भड़के हिंसा में सिर्फ एकतरफा रिपोर्ट करके सरकार को घेरने का फिर से षडयंत्र रचा। दिल्ली हिंसा की शुरुआत में ही 24 फरवरी को दिल्ली पुलिस की एक पेट्रोलिंग टुकड़ी पर गोधरा अंदाज़ में ही उन पुलिस वालों के मुकाबले कई गुना ज़्यादा लोगों ने चारों तरफ से घेर कर जानलेवा हमला कर दिया।
उनके हिंसक घेरे में फंस चुकी पुलिस की टुकड़ी में डीसीपी अमित शर्मा, एसीपी अनुज कुमार को बुरी तरह से जख्मी किया गया, हेड कांस्टेबल रतनलाल की तो गोली मारकर निर्मम हत्या ही कर दी और उनके कई साथियों को भी बहुत ही बुरी तरह से जख्मी कर दिया गया। इसके बाद की कई हत्याएं, दंगाई हत्या की जगह सोची समझी और निर्ममता से अंजाम दी गई कई हत्याएं हुईं जिसमें अंकित शर्मा की हत्या ने तो अमानवीयता की सारी हदें ही पार कर दीं। मगर अपनी पुरानी गुजराती सफलता के मद में अंधे अर्बन नक्सली और इस्लामी कट्टरपंथी ताकतों ने भड़काने वाली निर्मम हत्याओं की जगह उसके फलस्वरूप भड़के हुए दंगों को अपने फ्रेम में डाल कर सिर्फ और सिर्फ उन्हीं की चर्चाओं से शुरुआती साजिशी हत्याओं को भुलाने की कोशिश में लग गए।
मगर इस बार उन्हें सफलता हासिल नहीं हुई। एक तो सरकार की चुस्ती से दंगा भड़कने के कुछ ही घंटों में दंगों पार काबू पा लिया गया। गुजरात की तरह इन शक्तियों को 800 मुसलमानों का 2000 और 240 हिन्दुओं का शून्य बनाने का मौका नहीं मिला। आज दिल्ली दंगों को लोग हिन्दू विरोधी दंगों के नाम से जानते हैं। शाहीन बाग और उसके उसके जैसे कुछ और बागों में जो हिन्दू विरोधी ज़हर फैलाने का काम चल रहा था उसका पूरा प्रपंच देश के सामने नंगा हो गया। अब खिसियानी बिल्ली की तरह एक प्रकाशन पर अपने प्रभाव का इस्तेमाल करके इन्होंने जिस सच को विश्व के सामने लाने से रोकने की कोशिश की, वो सच अब इनके सर के ऊपर चढ़कर बोलेगा ऐसा इन्होंने खुद ही सुनिश्चित कर दिया है। अर्बन नक्सलियों और इस्लामी कट्टरपंथियों के द्वारा गुजरात में किए गए प्रयोग की सफलता इन्हें गुजरात में भले ही ना मिली मगर उसकी सफलता उन्हें गुजरात से बाहर और दूसरे बाहरी देशों में ज़रूर मिली थी मगर इस बार इनका दिल्ली प्रयोग उस लिहाज से भी पूरी तरह उल्टा पड़ गया। कसाब की तरह हिन्दू आतंकवाद की कहानी बनाने की कोशिश में खुद ही पकड़ लिए गए और देश के सामने नंगे हो गए।
