Tharoor uses a morphed image to thrust culture upon Sahar Zaman: Shamelessly defends the act, when caught!

0

ccThis was seen again, this time on 14th Nov! When Hindus, fighting draconian rules on one hand and Liberal Assault on another, were getting ready to celebrate Laxmi Pujan! On that evening, after the Laxmi Pujan, as I was about to burst crackers, I saw this tweet by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. He is happy, that a Muslim female editor has given an Urdu name to the Hindu festival. Which in the end was turned out to be a fake! Later it was found out that, of all the people, erudite, western educated, UN returned (Foreign Returned is too middle class, you see) Mr. Tharoor used a photoshopped image and added words which were not in the original tweet.

It did rub many a wrong way and outraged Social Media users. So what’s the problem? Why hyperventilate? Shashi Tharoor may have used a photoshopped image, but he meant well. After all, by renaming the Diwali, he was helping Muslims to adapt to the festival with ease, which can be helpful in reducing social frictions. But look again, and you will realize it’s a devious ploy to appropriate another Hindu tradition. It’s one more crooked attempt to chew and digest another Hindu symbol and create something which is beyond recognition. Think I am, crazy? Read on.

I am sure, you remember reading through school history books that Akbar was a benevolent ruler. He abolished Jizya (a special tax on Hindus) in 1579 AD, started celebrating Raksha Bandhan, Dushera, Diwali, Shivratri and Vasant. He also now and then would put the Tilak on his forehead. He treated the Hindus with fairness and gave them employment. There is also a popular folklore, that he allowed his Rajput queen, Jodha Bai (Jehangir’s Mother) to practise Hinduism.

This, without any doubt, looks impressive and must have charmed Hindus, then. Now, look at the consequences of this ‘religious toleration’. Rajputs who were, the fiercest opponents to Mughals, turned into his rock solid supporters. They led from the front to help him defeat many small kingdoms and capture the entire Northern India and parts of the Deccan. Akbar’s Rajput strategy was unique and it not only finished the enduring clash between the Rajputs and Mughals but it also helped the dynasty in the solidification of the empire.

Most importantly, it legitimized a hitherto vague idea called composite culture. And by the time his reign came to an end in 1605, the Mughal empire had all of northern India and most of western and eastern India under its wings. Not to suggest, this was made possible because of the tilak or Akbar allowing Jodha Bai to celebrate Krishna Janma. But cultural appropriation played a part. Importantly none of his descendants followed any of the Hindu practices he introduced. But enjoyed the vast swaths of land captured by him and exploited the Hindus charmed by him. To add to that, all his descendants were as cruel as they come. For example, his great-grandson, Aurngazeb in 1679, re-introduced Jiziya, exactly 100 years after Akbar had abolished it. So this ‘syncretic culture’ stuff, forget help, has only damaged Hindus.

To get a reality check, just find out, which Hindu traditions or practices Muslims have internalized? Even after close to 75 years of independence, an abhorrent practice like Triple Talaq, was prevalent. They refuse to take to the civilized custom of going to courts for a divorce. They, like their Arab forefathers, want to continue even with Polygamy and Halala. After Modi Government criminalizing Triple Talaq, the number of incidents may come down. But it can not be eradicated till the community changes the mindset. So Muslims realistically after staying in Bharata for over a thousand years have not taken to one Hindu custom. Hence Shashi Tharoor’s attempt to thrust ‘Culture’ on a Muslim anchor is outrageous. And it smacks of a larger conspiracy, namely taking away Diwali from Hindus by renaming it in Urdu.

If you think there is nothing to be worried about renaming, please go back into the history. Did you ever wonder, how Karnavati became Ahmedabad? Or Khadki became Aurngabad? Or Gopadri Hill in Shrinagar became, Takt-E-Suleiman? Or Hari Parbat, Koh-E-Marran? Not to forget, Akbar the great, the tolerant Emperor himself, renamed Prayag as Illahabad. It took a extremely popular and determined Chief Minister like Yogi Adityanath, to rename it back to original, Prayagraj.

To conclude, Hindus need to be vigilant of Hindu Liberals like Tharoor, who are habitual offenders. This is not the first time when he has tried to undermine Hindus. On 25th July, this year, he tweeted that, since Muslims bury their dead in this land they have a greater claim to this land than Hindus. Politicians like Tharoor can write books and speak in a clipped British accent to impress western media. But to stay politically relevant back home, they can continue to appease Muslims and hoodwink Hindus without remorse!

The Bihar Elections and why “liberals” are trying to portray Tejaswi as a hero, even though reality suggests otherwise

0

The NDA alliance in Bihar election won a mandate a third time (In 2015 the JDU, RJD and Congress had fought together and won a mandate) winning 125 seats out of the 243 seat Bihar Assembly. The RJD, from the time it seemed they would end up on the loosing side are taking an inspiration from the American Elections to portray this election as a fraud to suppress voter’s voice. Although RJD did end up winning 75 seats and becoming the single largest party, many critics believe that it was Congress that brought down the Mahagathbandhan short of majority. While giving Congress 70 seats was a decision by Tejaswi Yadav opposing to that of Lalu Yadav who had proposed a 50 seats share for Congress. The Mahagathbandhan winning 110 seats in the Elections and falling just short of majority mark after losing few seats to NDA from a very less margin (as less as 12 seats in Hilsa constituency in Nalanda) is being seen as a silver lining by the Indian Liberals and most media houses. But this is far from truth.

The Mahagathbandhan was able to pull this election so close was because of another factor, the Chirag Paswan led Lok Janshakti Party. Take an eample of Hilsa Vidhansabha seat in Nalanda district of Bihar. The winner Krishan Murari Saran of JDU won 61848 votes while Shakti Singh Yadav of RJD coming second with 61836 votes, a mere difference of 12 votes. The LJP candidate on this seat, Ranjit Singh got 17471 votes. If LJP would have fought the elections as part of the NDA which it is in Centre, then the vote difference would have been 17459 votes which is a comfortable victory margin. The LJP fielding candidates against JDU might not have been able to bring Nitish Kumar down, but it did help RJD and on few seats Congress and Left as well to overcome the challenge and emerge victorious.

It turns out that in as many as 38 seats, the LJP has polled more votes than the margin between the winning candidate and the losing NDA candidate or to be precise, losing JDU candidate as they did not field candidates against BJP. If LJP would have contested elections as part of NDA then, NDA as a whole would have won 163 seats according to the voting scenario in 2020 Bihar Assembly Elections. Now that’s a 2/3rd seat share. It would have been a complete sweep for NDA and the Mahagathbandhan would have been restricted to 72 seats, keeping the 8 seats won by others as it is. Now this wouldn’t have been an impressive performance given all that was being said about the crowds in Tejaswi’s rallies and Rahul Gandhi campaining for the Mahagathbandhan.

The Indian Liberals are trying to project Tejaswi Yadav as the new young revolutionary leader who is challenging the old customs and old leadership while providing a young and new vision. Yet, while fighting on 101 seats in 2015 RJD had won 81 seats and Tejaswi Yadav was the deputy Chief minister of Bihar for 18 months and yet he doesn’t have even a single accomplishment as the youngest Deputy CM of a state except the allegations of corruption against him. In 2020 however, with his young leader image, RJD was able to win only 75 seats out of 144 it fought on.

Taking an inspiration from Biden win in America, the Indian Liberals were praying for Tejaswi yadav to win, not because he had a great vision for the state of Bihar but what the Indian Liberal left and it’s supportive media houses could’ve projected a mandate for the failure of Modi’s policies and his management of Covid-19 as well as a mandate against CAA, Abrogation of Article 370, The ongoing tussle with China and everything in between.

Why they hate Arnab Goswami

0

For decades Lutyens media has had a vice-like grip over the news and opinions that would be fed to the unsuspecting people of India. That’s why the politicians, police, academia, activists, judiciary, business community and literally everyone who matters in the power corridors, would be at their beck and call. This clutch was so powerful that they were involved even in negotiating and delivering ministerial berths for their friends and others for mutual benefits. It was an ecosystem that had been developed to help each other remain forever in the India’s most elite power corridors. They would among themselves share the awards, plush positions in the multitude of government bodies, free global travels on the exchequer’s expenses and have an opportunity to network with global who’s who.

Lutyens would on behalf of a selected few business friends, broker and deliver policy changes again for mutual benefits. They would have prior information on any changes in the administrative setup or policy to be able to inform friends beforehand to take advantage. They with their powerful friends in ministries could stall or effect changes in the bureaucracy. With all of this in their control, you can imagine the power this Lutyens cabal wielded in the old political structure of India.

So in short the Lutyens had the two most deadly weapons in their hand, one is the direct access to power and the other being ability to set the narrative. They were a power unto themselves.

Then in 2014 Shri Narendra Modi was elected as the PM of India. This cabal thought, like the earlier BJP PM Shri A B Vajpayee they would manage PM Modi too without much change in either their access to the power structure or the influence on the agenda setting. While PM Modi’s style was known to most from his earlier days as the CM of Gujarat but they thought like Vajpayee he too would succumb, as it was very difficult for central governments to freely function without the active support of this cabal. They have the power to make anyone’s life miserable who is not beholden to them.

But they were in for a rude shock because PM Modi like his earlier self would function with absolutely no interference in the administration of his government. He refused to show any special privileges to anyone especially this cabal and entertain them in the governmental power play. This completely stopped their free access to himself, his office and to his ministers and thereby discouraging any form of cronyism. He broke another convention from earlier times by not taking these Lutyens journalists on government expenses for his official trips. He only took the ones designated by the state owned media along. His style of communicating is to talk directly to the people either through “address to the nation”, “select interviews”, “press releases” or through social media but certainly not through planting stories in the mainstream media. In effect he severed the Lutyens connection to the power corridors of Delhi.

While through these actions PM Modi’s had totally cut the Lutyens’ access to administrative power structure but they still wielded the ability to set the narrative through their established media networks nationally and internationally. In fact you would have seen how they spun some spurious incidents unconnected to BJP or Hindus to church attacks, cow vigilantism and eventually calling it fascism and Hindutva hegemony. There was a lot of mainstream media coverage to show India and especially Hindus in bad light just because Modi government is made to be projected as pro-Hindu by this cabal. There were multitudes of their compatriots in academia and activist community seen returning their awards to project India’s image as intolerant. So even after being far removed from the access to power they still showed their tenacity by setting a false narrative to embarrass the Modi government, everywhere they could.

Then in 2017 Arnab Goswami started the Republic Media Network (RMN) and launched his English news channel first and then Republic Bharat as its Hindi news channel later. Because of his credibility as a journalist and having singlehandedly established Times Now as number one channel in past, his RMN quickly rose the TRP ranks to take the number one position. In the English news segment this wasn’t too unexpected even for Lutyens because of his earlier track record. But then a few months back his Republic Bharat replaced the erstwhile undisputed leader over the last few decades in Hindi news segment, channel Aaj Tak as the number one position in the Hindi segment too. Hindi news has never been a comfortable area for Arnab because of his earlier experience with only English media and probably his difficulties in Hindi as a language.

Arnab Goswami has been a sworn nationalist and he has never made any qualms of neutrality when it comes to the interest of the nation versus anything else. With his incisive investigations and very powerful style of debating he has been a thorn in the dealings of so many anti-national forces operating within and outside India. While many feel that his debates are noisy, perhaps even to me sometimes but the presentation of his argument is extremely sharp and clear. He knows how to reach out to his audience and even in his fledgling Hindi he makes the points very precisely that deliver the intended impact. That is the reason why people of India keep watching him and thereby making him undoubtedly India’s number one anchor running India’s number one news network.

First he won over the English speaking city viewers and then the vast populations of Hindi hinterland from the Lutyens that they believed were sole preserve of theirs alone. He has in effect dealt a death knell to the Lutyens monopoly for decades over the consumption of content fed to ordinary citizens. He has snatched from them the grip over what news to be shown and what to be ignored. He has removed the only great power that they were left with, that of setting the narrative after PM Modi’s actions had already removed their access to power structures of government.

The unholy nexus between various entities be it media, politicians, academia, judiciary, bureaucracy, entertainment, police and mafia is being exposed every day, no doubt it makes them very uncomfortable. Rest of the country is also waking up to the shenanigans of this cabal as they are being exposed everyday by Republic TV and on Social Media by others too. With both ‘access to power’ and ‘narrative setting’ gone from their clutches, the Lutyens has been reduced to an irrelevant bunch.

It is therefore not too hard to understand why Arnab Goswami and his network are hated by them.

How ‘they’ make ‘us’ feel guilty for celebrating ‘our’ festivals

0

It is rather painful to see the illogical and shrill campaign gathering momentum against all Hindu festivals. Particularly in the case of Deepavali (or Diwali), it has taken off like a Diwali aerial shot. To substantiate their bogus claims the so called environment warriors liberally show us a series of photos showcasing the polluted Delhi air. Sans any scientific data or study we are made to believe that bursting of Crackers is harmful for the health of citizens.  Surprisingly this danger or health hazard develops unfailingly every year a week before Diwali and lasts for a couple of days after Diwali. It does not matter on the rest of the days when the AQI is worse than ever.

Now that OpIndia has started a campaign to reclaim Diwali celebrations and give the majority Hindus their true right to follow their centuries old tradition of bursting crackers on Diwali, here is my suggestion to make it a success.

Bursting of crackers should be taken up not just for Diwali but also for other occasions.

  1. On Independence Day and Republic day.
  2. Every evening when Aarti is being performed on river banks in Varanasi, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Rishikesh etc.
  3. In all privately owned temples on every Friday evening during the Deepa aarti. This may not be possible in large Hindu temples controlled by the State.
  4. ON Ganesh Chathurthi festival every evening till visargan. Similarly for Janmashtami, Navaratri, Durga puja.
  5. Regional New year day like Ugadi, Baisaki, Vishu etc.

If this is done it will pave the way for a rethinking by the State and pose a challenge to the  depraved community of deranged environment warriors.

It will ensure a steady business for the Fireworks industry and sustain them throughout the year instead of depending on the vagaries of the State. It will safeguard the livelihood of lakhs of citizens involved in this industry directly and indirectly.

This is how the Ganesh Chathurthi festival became a public festival all over the India from a small beginning made by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak in Pune.

7 things to know about Tripura’s Kokborok language

0

Kokborok is known as the main native language of Tripura. It is spoken by the indigenous communities of Tripura. Kok means “verbal” or “language” and borok means” people”. It was declared as an official language of the state of Tripura, India by the State Government in the year 1979. Here are the 7 things to know about the Kokborok language.

8. Every year on January 19 Kokborok days is celebrated in the state of Tripura on the development of the Kokborok language. various cultural and literary activities are also done on these days. Student, chief minister, several cabinet ministers, etc all are present on this occasion.

Conclusion

Even the kokborok language is now been taught in government schools, colleges, and universities. And various educational institutions are even theirs to promote the kokborok language. Even a library of kokborok books has been set up in Khumulwng town since 2015.which is known to consists of more than 5000 books of kokborok language and its related topics.

Kokborok Tei Hukumu Mission (KOHM), Kok Dictionary, and many Governments and non-government groups are involved in promoting and developing the Kokborok language, literature, art, films, etc. And still, there is currently demand and effort going on to give recognition of the language as per the 8th schedule of the constitution in India.

The true heritage of Bharat, a land of Dharma!

0

In my last article, I discussed about the seeds of Democracy sown in the Ramayana. Let us explore the tragic tale of the Hero to learn and enhance our knowledge as we near the 492 year wait for Lord Ram to come back to his birthplace. I say a tragic tale because at no point in the tale does Lord Ram enjoy a moment of calm around him.

He was born the eldest son of Lord Dasratha and Queen Kausalya. He was annointed the crown Prince and right from a young age he was thrust with the responsibility of living upto the great name of the Suryavanshi clan. He didnt flinch or waiver from his responsibility and inspite of just being a kid, he always displayed remarkable sense of calm, discipline, loyalty and adherence to law. He always displayed a sense of obedience to his elders and stood by his Dharma.

When you think of a person like that, you can only recall the famous line from the movie Batman, where Joker asks, What happens when an unstoppable force collides with an immovable object? The only person who could match the prowess of Lord Rama was Lord Raavana, the King of Golden Lanka and as such, was their fate sealed. The beauty of epics like the Ramayana or the Mahabharata, is that it does not establish the main villain as some barbaric uncouth hooligan but a sophisticated well educated and intelligent person. Thus telling us how human mind can seek to destroy or create based on the choices they make.

The part of the history that I want to tap into today involves the story of Lord Ram and his brother Lakshman accompanying Sage Vishwamitra to aid him in his yagna after being ordered by his father. The fact that Lord Rama does not even for a moment stray from following his father’s words speaks volumes about him. Here is a young man, a crown prince asked to accompany a sage into the forests by his father and he follows as ordered. One can only be amazed at his sense of clarity and Dharma.

Many of us not aware of our true history and influenced by the western culture, forget that we have a history that teaches us to be obedient. It does not mean lack of Independence, it means sense of purpose. Only a person with a sense of purpose and clarity of thought will be willing to obey and follow the command of his parents. Because one important thing to understand is parents will do anything in their power to protect their children. But the influence of Western philosophy and the slow hatred that has been filled into the veins of Indians over everything Hindu, has infested our society with the virus of corruption, self aggrandisement and nepotism.

It is indeed time to explore that part of our culture, which teaches us values and sets us on a path of self discovery rather than limiting us to self centred thought process that we have been subjected to over a thousand years of invasions and occupations. Democracy is a concept which allows for freedom of thought. Now is the time to dust the cobwebs of that part of our history and culture, that have been lying unopened due to sheer negligence and carefully planned and orchestrated apathy created after our Independence by Left liberals towards everything Hindu and its culture.

It is indeed time to understand the rich heritage that we are all proud heirs of, to finally realise the potential that we are all capable of. If Lord Rama is taken as a yardstick, it is not because he is a God, it is because he showed the extent of human capability and perseverance that can achieve miracles and wonders. He was born human but is worshiped as God because of his serenity and calm right from his childhood.

Even for some of those, who want to say that Lord Rama was a figment of imagination and he doesn’t exist, I have a sincere request. Look at it as a figment of imagination but you can still learn a lot. Isn’t that what a good story is supposed to do? Teach you a lesson. So let us learn a lesson of being calm and tranquil even in the most distressing times because we sure are in one. Let us not fall into negativity and use this time to learn the true nature of our history. Even if it’s a figment of imagination, for some, it’s still a figment passed down from generations after generations of our ancestors, so let us treat it with reverence and respect, one should give one’s culture instead of being sucked into the allurement of a philosophy, which preaches self-entitlement and creates a divide amongst communities.

Finally, Lord Rama after the battle in which, he kills Raavanabrahma, does not hate him. He still seeks him out to learn from him. That shows how one can overcome self entitlement and grandeur and still be a student to one who has been beaten by you. Actions speak louder than words and Lord Rama, is worshipped for these actions, which, when followed leads one down the path of enlightenment and that is the true heritage of our culture. So my dear brethren of Bharat, it is indeed time to dig deep into the vaults of our history and learn. The humble nature of our Hero allows him to traverse the difficult path his destiny has chosen for him with utmost grace and humility.

We easily get offended by the slightest of provocation, we turn into animals against those slightly inferior to us and become the lambs for those superior to us. We let negativity rule our minds at the slightest disturbance in our life. We have as a country crawled towards an uncertain future from a diluted past. Now more than ever is the time to understand the true essence of the Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Sri Rama Chandra Murthy. When state acts against citizens questioning it, most times in a brazen and cavalier attempt to muzzle those questioning it, it certainly becomes imperative on the part of this generation to truly understand what a welfare state should be like.

Wake up my dear brethren of this Punyabhumi, Maa Bharat and look at our history and culture with an open mind. The blue print for a welfare state has long been laid down. Now is the time to explore the idea of that Bharat. A Bharat, where each and every individual respects one another. A Bharat, where Dharma is the cornerstone and humility the bulwark. A Bharat, where law reigns supreme and State is but a humble servant of that law. That is how Rama saw himself and that is what we can learn. Jai Shri Ram.

Philly to Delhi and Delhi to Philly: A train of thoughts between the two great democracies

0

This feature is not a Philadelphia-Delhi international flight round trip. This sober journey is for all free people to sail between the oldest and the largest democracies for free and reflect upon their republic’s state of affairs. And this is about the Will of the Free if they can protect it. This column is plainly about the churning of radical politics and the noble fight transpiring within the societies of the two great democracies, between the left and the good.

Let us closely look at what has politically transpired in the 2020 US elections. So, who has called the US elections? The cable networks and tech giants or the federal and state election authorities? Was there any regard to the rule of law and due process? We must seriously ponder why and how the democratic nations have become so impatient, divisive, and corrupt from within. And how come the media Mughals and the tech overlords have grown to become so powerful and successful that they have the gumption to attempt to install a government in a democracy. I hope we have some insights along the ride.

Delhi to Philly

Right from 2016, democrats have relentlessly bawled about Russian collusion and foreign interference in the US election. The collusion allegations have been a grave concern for all Americans as it affects the integrity of the US elections and democratic systems. Accordingly, Democrats have unleashed a $50 million Muller investigation for two and a half years, making it the greatest political witch hunt in the US history. Ironically, the head of the powerful executive is at the receiving end here. Even Republicans and Donald Trump had to cooperate and endure with that sham investigation to get to the bottom of it. Not to mention this political charade and hooliganism have been vehemently peddled by the mainstream Media and Tech giants, who could not digest a conservative Trump winning in 2016.

Trump has been the most charismatic outsider who had rocked the establishment boat, stonewalled radical democrat’s agenda, and fought tooth and nail against media and tech giants’ influence on public policy and governance. Most media networks and tech giants have never covered Trump, his America First policies, and his successes in good light and objectively. Democrats, Media, Tech Giants, and most of Hollywood have colluded together to push forward socialist and meaningless progressive agenda. They have stopped at nothing to block Trump in 2020.

Interestingly most Americans, republicans and democrats alike, have grossly failed to recognize the real interferer in 2020 elections, who lives amongst them within the US. The mainstream media and tech giants enabled by democrats have become way too big and powerful that they get to shape the national narrative, promote their own progressive agenda, and thereby have dared to directly interfere in democratic processes like the elections. Media networks have made us all believe Joe Biden as the winner of 2020. But the real winner is somebody else, something dark. To put it in Joe Biden’s frequent blue states red sates rhetoric:

“It is not Joe Biden or Donald Trump, but it is the Hunter Biden who has won the 2020 US elections.”

Mainstream media and tech giants have entirely blacked out Hunter Biden’s financial shenanigans with a design to protect Democrats and Biden. It is that embodiment of Hunter Biden, the corrupt and the shady, who has won the 2020 US election as declared by the media and not Biden or the Trump. The truth about the real winner is yet to be revealed.

When American people are continually bombarded all through the elections season with a disproportionate volume of skewed television advertisements, opinion polls, and surveys that Joe Biden enjoys 15-20-point lead ahead of Trump; the average voters tend to suppress their choice or avoid voting for the underdog or skip voting all together as they may feel their vote to the other side would not matter. Although these polls & surveys may not seem to significantly alter an election outcome, it does interfere with the voting choice of an elector. This tacit interference in the free and fair election coming from media and tech giants is from within the US territory and society.

Unlike the USA, India has a ban on publishing and broadcasting exit polls, surveys on TV, radio channels, cable networks, websites, and social media platforms all during the election season until the polls’ closing. This ban enables a level playing field among the political contestants. It inhibits systemic imbalances and interferences by the powerful on the voter’s choice. A take away for the USA from this Delhi to Philly train is to identify the real domestic election interferer and checkmate them with federal legislation to save their precious republic and democracy. Otherwise, this unchecked power of mainstream Media and Tech giants disseminating opinionated content and skewed the electorate’s pulse before the elections turns out to be a purge on Americans’ fundamental right to a constitutional republic.

Further, India has an autonomous central election body backed by constitutional legitimacy. This election body attains sweeping powers during the election season to administer free and fair elections at various levels. Apart from that, India has multiple other institutional mechanisms like top bureaucrats from other states (who do not have answerability to the state executives) are appointed as leading poll observers to ensure election administration integrity.

Although India is a young democracy, it has robust, seasoned, and successful election mechanisms upheld by a strong federal structure. On the other hand, the US Federal Election Commission is merely a toothless regulatory body. All the election-related rule-making and administrative powers are vested with the states. The state legislatures and executives in the US can frame their own election laws and rules as per their conveniences. Another key takeaway for the USA from this Delhi to Philly train is to reinvent the US Federal Election Commission to a constitutional authority overseeing uniform and robust administration of free and fair elections, at least for the federal offices. Otherwise, the allegations of stealing elections, the nuisance of voter frauds, recounting, legal battles are bound to occur every election year, and the American people have to endure the same political theater every four years with different actors as it is happening in 2020.

Another distinguishing factor is India’s election system’s effective implementation of the universal adult franchise, making one-person-one-vote a central feature of Indian democracy that upholds equal representation in voting to eliminate plural voting and to avoid discriminating haves and the have nots. No person in India can vote twice or vote without valid identification proof. Some negligible tallying errors may occur, here and there, during vote counting, but significant irregulates are not systemic or institutionalized. Interestingly Pennsylvania has made unfounded systemic laws with utter disregard to fundamental principles of universal adult franchise, one-person-one-vote by embracing the absentee ballot or mail-in ballot mechanisms recently.

It is absolutely shocking to know how Pennsylvania lawmakers have designed the absentee ballot or mail-in ballot scheme. In 2019 the Pennsylvania General Assembly passed Act-77 reforming Pennsylvania’s election laws to regularize and expand absentee and mail-in voters. Again, in March 2020, Pennsylvania passed Act-12, further updating Pennsylvania’s election laws. This Act-12 provides voters who have received a Mail-In or Absentee Ballot – who do not wish to vote on that ballot – the ability to surrender their spoiled Mail-In or Absentee Ballot & Declaration Envelope to their polling place on Election Day by signing a statement to the same effect, and to then vote in-person on the voting machine. This legal corruption at the policymaking level is direct in black and white. Anyone can easily read Act 77 & 12 between the lines to understand the criminal intent. Democrats controlled cities like Philly have become an epitome of voter fraud and election corruption by aggressively advancing such arbitrary election laws.

Technically, according to Act 77 & 12, Pennsylvania voters can request a mail-in ballot early on; and can also go to the polling station on the election day and sign a statement that they have spoiled and remitted their nail-in or absentee ballot, and then vote-in-person on the voting machine. After physically voting on the machine once, they can again drop-off their mail-in ballot at their polling place, which becomes double voting. And nobody knows who maintains an account for spoiled and remitted mail-in or absentee ballots. Another bizarre provision in the new Pennsylvania electoral system is that a voter can cast a provisional vote in-person without presenting proper identification proof.

Coronavirus has mostly happened to the world from early 2020. But undue innovations to electoral systems by democrats stronghold battleground states like Pennsylvania have been in the making since October 2019 with an intent, long before the advent of coronavirus. There was no clarion call to expand or regularize absentee ballot or mail-in ballot. Still, such reforms have taken root with an eye on the 2020 US election.

The stage was set with good planning long before the coronavirus, 2020 primaries, and presidential elections with the sole purpose of tampering with the election process and manipulating an election outcome. The absentee ballot or mail-in ballot was expanded as a mainstream voting procedure with a design to cause utter chaos if caught or to silently manipulate an election outcome if not got caught; all for an easy power grab.

Such undesirable laws championed by the governing top tantamount to the innovations of the evil that is very much designed to rob all people of their future. Those laws are a pure form of diet corruption perpetrated in broad daylight under the guise of legitimacy from the local legislature and executive. Media and tech giants have shielded their immoral enactments, colored, portrayed, and presented it as a progressive move and thereby insulated all of it from the spirited public scrutiny. Thankfully, patriot Americans, democrats, and the fighter Donald Trump will not take this diet corruption and gross election fraud so easy lying back.

Philly to Delhi

No doubt, progressive media networks and tech giants have become a powerful and unaccountable constituent in the American polity. But, the most incredible absurdity is that even legitimate governments and independent world leaders, including that of India’s PM Modi, have fallen pawns to their content, for they have become the habitual consumer of the narrative biscuits tossed out by media and tech giants. Of course, media mafia and tech overlords have been successful to artfully shape the global narrative that Joe Biden has won the 2020 US election already; and have a significant number of people and governments around the world to buy their coronation of Joe Biden as the next president of the USA.

But China has not fallen for it as they have not congratulated Joe Biden immediately on the results night or until a week after media declaring him as the winner, which says a lot that the Chinese government really have their tab on the American democratic systems and have a strong understanding and deep-rooted intelligence machinery at play in the USA. In India’s case, only PM Modi can reveal as to why he has jumped the gun so fast, for he seemed to have gotten manipulated with misguided advisory into tweeting a congratulatory message to Joe Biden for his so-called spectacular victory as projected by US media. Biden’s poll performance was neither spectacular nor a victory. Since official election results were not declared, India should reach out to Trump, course correct to save its face, repair the dented relationship with the sitting US president, irrespective of whether Trump emerges victorious or not in the 2020 presidential elections.

Young democracies like India should be very wary of the growing power of tech giants and media networks. The US leftist media narrative is routinely picked up by the Indian mainstream media just to parrot it to the Indan public without any application of its mind or conscience. Although tech giants and media networks are great employment and wealth generators in India, they do operate the most essential and influential platform technologies that enable citizens’ participation in the democratic process. Tech giants and media networks have become power harbingers. Their absolute power is corrupting them absolutely, as well as abusing the democratic institutions and processes.

India’s GDP is about $2.6 trillion and a single tech company, say Apple’s market cap is about $2 trillion. Google’s market cap is about $1 trillion. The inference here is that the combined wealth of just two companies, Apple and Google, is more than India’s GDP. It is not untrue to state that a handful of five tech giants can be double the size of India’s GDP.

The direct correlation between wealth and power need not be emphasized again, and it is universal. Tech oligarchs’ overarching influencing power can be left to one’s wildest imaginations when we look at 2020 US elections. Even the most powerful democratic nation on the face of the earth is not immune to their influences and manipulations from within.

Tech Giants and the Media collectively have become the regulators of the governments, free speech, and national agenda everywhere. Their influence on policymaking has already seeped deep into the legislative branch, as most legislators need social media networking and media coverage, and the taming of the executive branch is just taking green shoots. So, a key takeaway for India from this Philly to Delhi wagon is for the Indian civil society and Indian leaders to be vigilant and thwart all manipulations, interferences, and influence of the media and tech giants on democratic institutions and processes. Indian people simply cannot afford to fall prey to any powerful and unaccountable lot.
