Political murder and Bengal

0

“Bengalis love to celebrate their language, their culture, their politics, their fierce attachment to a city that has been famously dying for more than a century. They resent with equal ferocity the reflex stereotyping that labels any civic dysfunction anywhere in the world ‘another Calcutta.’” – Bharati Mukherjee

A state in Eastern India, between the Himalayas and Bay of Bengal with over 15.03 Crore population. The prestigious land of West Bengal is suffering daily from various attacks on the son of the land, according to NCRB (National Crime Record Bureau) their data shows Bengal recorded highest political murders in 2019, Police data showed that 47 political killings involving BLP and TMC workers since 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

West Bengal land of Swami Vivekanand, Shri Ravindra Nath Tagore, First Nobel Prize winner of Asia,1913, and Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner, 2006, what they want to make West Bengal is just opposite what some political party have made West Bengal for their interest. West Bengal is a place of sweets like Rasogulla and Sondesh but the current situation of West Bengal is just different from their food, the Political Murder is like a normal cause of action in Bengal, we the people of India including all the Political Parties making West Bengal beyond the imagination of Swami Vivekanand and Muhammad Yunus.

West Bengal is rich in culture like Literature, Dance, Fine Arts, Cuisine, Clothes and Festivals. West Bengal is one of the Developed states in India since the Independence of Republic of India, Calcutta (now- Kolkata) was capital during the East India Company (1757-1858). Kolkata is one of the biggest cities in India. When we talk about South of West Bengal we should have to know that North of West Bengal is also rich in Flora and Fauna with places like Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Mirik which are tourist destination in India and the Siliguri Corridor is known as Gateway of North East of India also known as seven sisters.

In 1905, the first partition of Bengal was implemented as an administrative preference, they want to govern Bengal in two province, West Bengal and East Bengal on the ground of Religion Hindus were majority in West Bengal and Muslims were majority in East Bengal, at that time the Muslims want partition whereas the Hindus want to live together with unity. The motherland of Bengal has seen many protests, violence and riots at that time. In 1910 both provinces were united.

As the riots between Hindu and Muslim is the biggest political agenda for any election and these riots are worked as a gamechanger in many elections not a single party but every political party wants to seek advantage from Hindu Muslim riots for their benefits personally and politically. As now the elections to be held in Bengal in 2021 and reports says that 85 to 90 seats in Legislative Assembly Elections are dominated by minorities, hence TMC wants to grab more than 80 seats in this elections, and in North Bengal the seats are dominated by Hindu refugees from Bangladesh, North Bengal carry 55 seats which may set the game for BJP in Bengal Legislative Assembly Election, 2021.

Gorkhaland Movement as this movement is for separation of Gorkha region from the State of West Bengal and made another state for Gorkha people. In the 1980s Subhash Ghesingh started movement for Gorkhaland and if Gorkhaland will created by Union of India then the North Bengal will separate from state of West Bengal region and this region has mass vote for BJP for their Hindu face, as the results can be seen from 2019 Lok Sabha Elections BJP got 18 seats from 2 seats and vote percentage also increases for BJP, the main reason can be hindu refugees came from Bangladesh to North Bengal.

As when we closely observe Bengal Elections, 2021 ruling party of Bengal crossed the limits and misuse the power of ruling party, a Member of Parliament Shri Tejasvi Surya (Bangalore South) came to Bengal as a Chief of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha but the police official talked to him in very rude manner and again in Teen battii, Siliguri in his rally Police start throwing tear gas, lathi charge and torturing the youth workers of BJP, if Bharatiya Janta Party organize a rally then the State call it as a unlawful assembly, where is Section-141, Unlawful Assembly when TMC organize rally and public meetings, TMC workers throw stones and literally they beat BJP leaders and its gone too far when they start throwing stones on national leaders like Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji.

If this type of government is not a dictatorship then what can I tell this? This election is going to be Morality vs Majority, as BJP trying so hard to came in power in West Bengal as many leaders from TMC switch their party and came to BJP like Suvendu Adhikari and Shilbhadra Dutta as they have control on many seats, what they can make the difference for BJP in this election? This question was roaming in every political enthusiast’s mind.

Now-a-days many political theories have been circulated by Indian Politicians and writers that the People’s of Republic Bangladesh has some serious plans to expand the territory of Bangladesh with the inclusion of West Bengal, Assam and Tripura as the part of its own territory, as the muslim population is approx 30% in these region and many riots we have seen in past few years but for this time India is well developed nation and can tackle these matter very easily.

As all the murders is not related to politics but politicians have some hidden power so they easily turn the matter from North to South, but in Bengal after some days a political murder case is reported and reality is very dangerous in State of Bengal for political workers.

Will Jack Ma reappear?

0

In Communist China, the government controls businesses. In the rest of the world, businesses control the government. In China they have a saying “tallest tree catches the most wind”. The tallest tree here is the government and the rich have to be most loyal to the ruling party. China is anything but a Dictatorship of the Proletariat, they have many members of the bourgeoisie in their assemblies. In China, say exactly what the CCP wants you to say. It’s more like Russia’s “kiss the ring and know your place”. Never try to eat the government’s lunch. Banking will and always be part of the central authority of the government, anywhere you go. Jack Ma got a little too big for his britches when he tried to create a private unregulated banking system.

Jack Ma’s financial companies were giving out loans to everything with a pulse standing on two legs. Not everyone has a bank account in China, but everyone has an Alipay account. You could live your whole life with just an Alipay account and you’d be fine. #Alipay made huge amounts of cash for Alibaba. People didn’t trust the banks, so they were allowed to put money into their Alipay wallet. If you’re not familiar with Ant Financial, it’s basically Alipay’s financial services division that offers financial products such as loans and mutual funds. Alipay also gives you microloans of 10-15 dollars for everyday things to even larger purchases. To the point that Alipay started offering financial planning, and HISA to people. This contributed to a growing consumer debt level in young adults, which is causing a stink when 20-year-olds who can’t pay debt and families have to step in to bail them out. But the bigger picture is it’s creating something like the subprime mortgage crisis that lead to the 2008 crash. Too much bad/uncertain debt in the hands of people that should have never gotten a loan.

Ant Financial was set to IPO in late 2020, but that was called off by the Chinese government who claimed that Ant did not meet regulatory compliance. Ant borrows money from big banks and loans it out to users at a higher interest, it then packages these loans into Collateralized Debt Obligations and sells them in the secondary market. The issue with Ant Financial is that they were regulated as a tech company up until now, but the services they offer is more like a bank. Basically, the government is saying “you do what a bank does, so you should be subject to bank regulations”, but Jack is saying “Nope I’m a fintech company, not a bank”. Following the Ant Financial drama, the CCP started a crackdown on consumer loan services that were in the grey zone between fintech and banking. Jack, due to his vocal opposition, became a kind of counter example in this sweep. Jack Ma has repeatedly pissed off the powers that be and obliquely chided China’s regulatory system. From calling out bank regulators for being slow and petty at a conference recently (in front of Xi, no less) to whatever he said two years ago that compelled authorities to “suggest” he retire and give the CEO post to his number two guy.

Ant bank was a massively over-leveraged bank that threatened to go asunder with the savings of hundreds of thousands of small-time folks who were goaded into risky savings accounts with interest rates of up to 8% per month – offered through the #Alipay. Jack Ma tried to bulldoze his payday business (Ant) through the regulators, even though it definitely did not have proper financial backing and was offering extreme leverage to basically anybody. His goal was to rush the IPO of Ant as a fintech company (rather than a financial company, which comes with greater regulatory baggage and a lower market valuation).

The CCP was burnt years ago with a similar thing from the collapse in the peer-to-peer lending market, which resulted in massive societal unrest, & millions of citizens losing hundreds of billions. Jack Ma’s Ant is equally unstable and its inevitable collapse would force the central government to once again step in and bail it out. Jack Ma has been a whiny brat off-late who has been steadily eroding his own standing in the party, and the last straw was ignoring & insulting regulators while pushing forward with the #Ant#IPO. This is way more complicated than just “CCP punishes guy who criticizes CCP”.

The following billionaires went missing for some time:

Wu Xiaohui, Anbang (finance)Xiao Jianhua,

Wu Xiaohui, Anbang (finance)

Xiao Jianhua, Tomorrow Group (real estate)

Zhou Chengjian, Metersbonwe (clothing)

Guo Guangchang, Fosun (owns Club Med &Cirque du Soleil)

Lei Jie (banking/finance)

Mao Xiaofeng (banking)

Mike Poon Ho Man (aircraft leasing)

Yang Zezhu (banking/finance)

Most of those people reappeared after a month or two, but not all. Xiao Jianhua hasn’t been seen in three years. Yang Zezhu fell to his death from a 12th story apartment, after he disappeared. Police found a suicide note. The media also circle-jerked around the “disappearance” of Fan Bingbing (A-list Chinese actress) when she got in trouble for alleged tax evasion. But now that she’s back and nobody talks about it. #CCP is very sensitive to its public image and therefore it will ensure Jack Ma returns with the right mindset.

#JackMa was chosen by the communist party only because he spoke English and was one of 500 million blind loyal party members. Now he is again what he was before they appointed him -nothing. Dust in the wind. The owner of Huawei was a cell phone repair shop owner, retired low-ranking military officer, specialist for fixing broken screens of iPhone 5. China creates a new billionaire each day and they all think they are going to be next. Jack Ma will be out of sight for a while but he will be ok.

Sitting with head buried in sand: A disease

We are very casual and slightly selfish when it comes to looking at certain things from broader perspective! Way too busy in personal life that people don’t have time to think about cultural invasion, neglected Bharatiya heritage and biased narratives ruining our future! Placards abusing Hindutva appear in so called protests, we watch them on TV and just move on, without even thinking what those placard holders are trying to do! Agree that personal life is priority, but we can not ignore ideological and political aspects and get away with it. Even if we escape, coming generations will have to face the consequences.

SYMPTOMS: A comedian is mocking and insulting Hindu Gods & Goddesses, and ironically the audience with majority of Hindus are laughing on those lame jokes, shamelessly smashing their self respect, dignity, and sacrifices of ancestors under boots of left wing and so called secular propagandists!

Students studying in convent schools outrage over offering milk to deities but in same school they participate in carol singing and Xmas celebration in which decoration is done by cutting trees, or go on mutton party on Eid, so cute, isn’t it?

This is happening because since last few generations, one sided narratives have been fed to us to the extent that now they have become our default setting!

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? Answer is ‘all of us’! Having civilization and culture are two of the main features that make humans different from other animals, and we compromised with these two features! We preferred “lollipops” offered by political parties over preserving BHARATIYA SABHYATA: a civilization once revered by rest of the world. Terms like “Vishwaguru” are not mere rhetorics, these are the realities of past that we are declining to accept(may be subconsciously)!

Someone who ordered to open fire on people rightfully demanding to restore their place of worship, wins election again to become CM of state just because the party distributed things like bicycle, laptops etc is an example of the “lollipop trap” and our dead conscience, it also summarises who is responsible for the mess!

Education system has also played major role in setting up this one way flow of narratives! On one hand intellectuals like Aryabhatta, shushruta and Maharishi Kanad fails to get space in text books except somewhere in introduction and “DID YOU KNOW” section, while on the other hand foreign Invaders who butchered the masses get glorified in the textbooks. A child getting raised up in an environment like this, with negligible connection to roots is involuntarily bound to become what we call today “A WOKE”! Thankfully there are large number of exceptions, still the damage is serious

Imagine reaching late in your office using bullock cart when you have other efficient options of transport! Yes, this is happening with our youth! Despite of belonging to a land where legends like, Shri Shankaracharya, Chanakya & Swami Vivekananda took birth, the youth is falling in trap of irrelevant and rigid ideologues like Karl Marx and Lenin, ignoring millions of deaths communism has lead to! Communists portray themselves as crusader of freedom and liberty, but I hope you all are aware about what they did in Cambodia(explore about Khmer rouge), West Bengal and wounds that Naxalism is still inflicting to the country.

IS THERE ANY CURE? The cure is in our own hand, this chronic problem needs collective approach, everyone is required to contribute their part in the process of healing. Most important medicine to treat this problem is correcting the course of education system, which include things like getting rid of distorted history and introducing Vedic teachings in syllabus, so that the students could realise the legacy of their past, which will prevent them from getting diverted to ideologies irrelevant to India. Along with freebies, road, electricity and water this ideological aspect should also be kept in mind while pressing EVM buttons. As a person we need to come out of the guilt trip for being a Hindu or taking pride in culture and learn to call a spade a spade! Don’t undermine importance of narratives just because these are not affecting your own life for now! This ignorance is the reason that culprits of incidents like Delhi or Bangalore riots succeed in portraying themselves as victims, use distant vision. Ignoring the threat will not neutralise it and is very dangerous.

To protect a precious thing is difficult task, that’s why our mother India is facing this level of threat at both ideological and military fronts. Our military is doing great job, but security of ideological front is in our own hands. Challenge is huge, but not bigger than our will power! As requested above keep doing your bit. Awake before this disease turns into a pandemic!

Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing the startup industry

Throughout history, the world has seen 3 mechanical unrests:

There was the primary modern unrest which started in the eighteenth century which was concentrated on the utilization of steam/water as force. At that point there was the second modern unrest which started in the nineteenth century through the revelation of power. The third modern upheaval came during the 1970s with the time of incomplete mechanization and PCs started.

Right now, we are amidst the fourth mechanical upset which is driven by man-made consciousness.

What is critical about man-made brainpower?

Man-made consciousness enables machines to think, learn, and go about as a human could, which implies they can comprehend their general surroundings, learn, and decide, and afterward make the fitting move. To do all of this AI requires information and heaps of it besides. Also, the explanation AI is essential for the Fourth mechanical transformation is that we have information, because of digitalization we have information like never before previously.

Computer based intelligence was concocted during the 1960s and it is advancing from that point onward, presently AI can take true monetary choices, visit with individuals, mess around against people, and work connected at the hip with them. You would discover an AI-driven framework behind all this present reality applications. Simulated intelligence works one might say think-act cycle with the climate. Man-made consciousness detects/takes in the information gave to it, settles on a choice dependent on the experience, lastly plays out an activity influencing the climate.

It takes the information as pictures, recordings, sound, text, and so on, investigations this information utilizing AI calculations, and conveys AI-controlled arrangements. The figure shows the sense-think-and-act cycle for an AI.

New businesses and Artificial Intelligence

The mechanical progression in man-made brainpower has expanded machine communication, plans of action, and the expectation for everyday comforts of people.

The appropriation of AI is bringing about a world that is more intelligent and imaginative. Screening advances for disease at Freenome, self-driving vehicles identifying traffic, face acknowledgment on pictures for companion’s label proposals at Facebook, arranging in our email, and the suggestion for web based shopping are a few instances of AI mechanical developments present in our lives. Man-made reasoning is spreading through the market, it is fundamental for the organizations to perform R&D with their item and administration. This new need is actuating organizations, business visionaries, and specialists to utilize AI to elevate their business, new techniques, new plans of action, and new hotspots for business esteem.

As per International Data Corporation (IDC), the overall spending on psychological and Artificial Intelligence frameworks will increment noticeably from ₹8 Thousand Crores in 2017 to approx. ₹43 Thousand Crores in 2021. With this expanded financing sum, AI is probably going to be engaged with more areas. Accordingly, it gets important for R&D to investigate the working of an AI in various areas in current organizations. Simulated intelligence appropriation by the organizations will prompt the molding of the business settings. Earlier mindfulness about the potential outcomes of AI would help society in embracing the AI-driven framework.

Computer based intelligence and different organizations

Innovation is reshaping all organizations. Computer based intelligence is pacing up, your business must get more intelligent. Each business must get more intelligent – from little new companies, MSMEs to worldwide organizations, and even conventional organizations. In the Indian market, organizations of various shapes and sizes will be affected by this insurgency.

A particularly conventional area like agribusiness is going through some colossal changes, in which AI is being utilized to shrewdly arrange for what yields to plant, when, and where, to augment harvests, which dramatically expands the proficiency of the ranch, aeroponics is a fake driven framework with which harvests or plants develop without soil or total medium additionally alluded as aqua-farming or landless cultivating. Simulated intelligence can help ranchers monitor soil and climate conditions, and the soundness of harvests. Information is in any event, being assembled from cultivating hardware, to improve the proficiency of machine support. Advancements of such keen machines are built up that can help in recognizing and gently sort cucumbers, getting ready delicate natural products, and pinpoint irritations and sicknesses.

This is the effect of Artificial Intelligence. All ventures are developing quickly. Advancement and change are the new standards. The individuals who can’t adjust to AI to improve their business – whatever the business – will battle to contend.

Subsidizing AI

Energy started to move in 2011 when AI funding speculations saw a huge hop in the area from ₹200 crores in 2011 to ₹1000 crores in 2016 and it was 1 lakh crores a year ago, implying developing capacities and developing speculator trust in that space. An Increase of interests into computerized reasoning proceeded in 2020 with reserves developing by ₹ 1000 crores from January to July, regardless of the stoppage brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. As of now, the Indian AI market is esteemed to be more than ₹1000 crores in August 2020 and this is the middle of the COVID pandemic, AI has considerably more to bring to the table. Likewise, SMEs and AI new businesses are currently pacing and scaling up with new innovative arrangements. Thus, we can say that all the modern areas are seeing a quickened selection of AI advances to guarantee business development and improvement.

Computer based intelligence and India

Progression in AI is the most noteworthy need, numerous R&D offices are dealing with them. Computer based intelligence has definitely more potential than we have at the present time, particularly in the clinical field. Medical services new businesses are a significant factor to our clinical administrations and can give critical assistance in the post-Coronavirus emergency likewise some clinical new companies have gotten subsidizing in 2019, for example, Babylon Health, Tempus, and Freenome, which give distant wellbeing check and analysis, disease therapy with a straightforward blood test, and conveyance of therapeutics.

The Government of India is currently taking an unmistakable fascination for building up the area and to make a strong public AI foundation for all. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has been dealing with a proposition for the National Mission of Artificial Intelligence. This undertaking helps the utilization of AI in India and was assessed to cost around ₹2000 crore. Simulated intelligence based arrangements like water the executives, bug control, and harvest protection are being created. ICRISAT has built up an AI-fueled planting application, which uses climate models and information on neighborhood crop yield and precipitation. This prompted a 10 to 30% expansion in their reap. The focal leading body of optional instruction has brought AI into the school educational plan, beginning Python programming language and some earlier information on calculations to guarantee that understudies passing out have the essential information on information science, AI, and man-made consciousness.

The market for man-made brainpower in India is developing constantly. This can likewise be resolved from the way that the quantity of individuals searching for occupations in this field is seeing a distinct ascent. Pursuit of employment in the AI market has ascended to 106% from June 2019 to June 2020.

The market is loaded with individuals attempting to become showbiz royalty in the game. Also, since there is a huge load of rivalry out there you better need yourself to be in front of others. That is the reason exploration and perused as much as could be expected under the circumstances. We at insellers, have been doing a great deal of examination and doing the execution with our customers. We disclose to you the not all that regularly discussed moving dream to genuine accounts of SMEs and new companies, to move the Entrepreneur in you.

Surge of saffronization helps in revival of nationalist passion in West Bengal

West Bengal, the land of Swami Vivekananda who enlightened the world with the Indian ethos /culture/ philosophies of Vedanta/Yoga bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century and devoted his life to National Resurgance the land of mystic saint Sri Ramakrishna Paramahams whose chief disciple Swami Vivekananda formed the Ramakrishna Math, the land of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, the land of Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay who was key figure in literary renaissance of Bengal when he personified India as mother goddess with composing Vande Mataram, which lead to inspiring revolutionaries & freedom fighters in the Indian Independence Movement, the land of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose who formed the first Provisional Government of Free India in Exile and Indian National Army is sensing revival of nationalistic passion and remnisicing of the cultrual, social, intellectual pride among the masses used to have five decades back.

The state of West Bengal under the totalitarian leftist regime of 34 years destroyed the centre of Industrial hub, subverted democracy by tampering with the electoral process, decimating the opposition, indoctrinating at academic institutions which were filled by leftist sympathizers who polluted the minds of the young generation with the toxic Communist philosophy, lynching of opposition leaders, cadres in the state.

The unfinished task of state going downhall accelrated in the whimsical incumbent regime of Mamta Banerjee who has a uncontrolled, undisciplined, factional ridden TMC cadre who are petty criminals and run organized crime network in the state and untouched by law enforcement agencies. The party lacks command structure and this had resulted in widespread corruption in the state by TMC party leaders. The goons and petty criminals from the left switched over to TMC. That’s why people of Bengal say only party’s flag has been changed but the atrocities and criminality remained the same. Even worst to left government is atrocities on women, rape, killings etc have been increased a lot but instead of protecting women TMC Chief and CM West Bengal taking the sides of those criminals to remain in power. The crumbling civic infrastructure of the state came into limelight when Majerhat bridge and Vivekananda Flyover in Kolkatta collapsed and exposed the shortcoming of state apathy & neglect towards bridges.

TMC supporters vandalized the statue of the great legendary educationist Shri Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar ji, which shows how much insensitive TMC leadership is towards education. Even they failed to give due anf legitimate demands of lakhs and lakhs of primary teachers in Bengal. The state administration could not provide security to doctors and the health care professionals were routinely assaulted which sparked seven day strike in the state paralyzing the essential medical services. And due to this lawlessness has spread and party cadres of ruling party have resorted to extortion of general public and business enterprises. The Sharda Chit Fund scam exposed the involvement of ruling party men in which Rs.2500 crores were collected from 1.7 million investors and Mamta Banerjee prevented the arrest of main accused Rajeev Kumar by CBI and sat on three day sit in protest. The state administration has been opposing Central Govt Schemes implementation in the state and the latest being the PM-Kisan scheme which provides the farmers with a cash transfer of Rs 6,000 a year. The state government also refused to implement Ayushman Bharat scheme scheme which provides an annual health cover of Rs 5 lakh per family to more than 10.74 crore poor families — about 50 crore people.

And to remain in power Mamta Banerjee for the sake of vote bank politics started appeasing 30% Muslim population of the state by doling out schemes structured to benefit the community at the cost of Hindus. The state government favoured the minority community by allowing Muharram processions without any riders and the state government interfered in the rituals of Dashmi & Puja by imposing timelines for the immersion of dieties. The state government under Didi also provided monthly stiphend for Imams from the state exchequer. And the Begum of Bengal also donned hijab and attended the functions, rallies organized by Muslim community to keep her support base intact.

And we have seen that in recent years the members of minority community have escalated attacks on attacks on Durga Puja mandaps at many places and on immersion processions. The state government had practised discrimination against majority community since the left rule in the state. The Marxist government has allowed lakhs of Bangladeshi Muslims to settle down in the state and gave them ration cards and voter identity cards in return for their support in elections. These settlements altered the demographic balance in many parts of the state with the Muslims torturing Hindus and driving out of the areas where they became majority.

The anger of the majority is simmering with the state government blatantly practicing minority appeasement. The state is turning into Islamic Caliphate with the vote-bank politics has invited global jihadi groups and the affiliates of Al-Qaeda and Islamic State into West Bengal. The state border has become hub for the global jihadist who are working in close coordination with ISI for creating unrest in the border areas. The blasts in Burdwan serves as wake up call . The state coffers are empty due to the populist measures of the government. The exodus of Industries from the state since Jyoti Basu regime in 1977 and the Singur agitation by Mamta Banerjee against the Tata new automobile plant have made the state the symbol of rabid lawlessness in the country.

The overt and covert minority appeasement has led to sharp consolidation of Hindu votes in Bengal and the signs were visible in 2016 assembly elections and the Saffron party stunned the ruling party in 2019 LokSabha elections bagging 18 seats reducing the ruling party figure to 22 from 34. And the party is gaining ground and traction with discontentment against ruling party rising. Home Minister Amit Shah has chalked out exhaustive plans for winning 200 seats in the state with mega rallies planned by the national party, Durga Puja outreach, setting up of ‘Krishak Suraksha Pad-yatra’ in every rural constituency, agitation and protest to expose the shortcoming of the administration and training women in self defense considering the history of large scale violence in Bengal elections. The centre named the 150-year-old Kolkata Port as Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port to establish a connection with locals in the state. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tributes to philosopher and sage Sri Aurobindo on his 148th Birth Anniversary on India’s 74th Independence Day. The Vice President Venkaiah Naidu also took to Twitter to pay his respect to the legendary Sage.

Firebrand leader, President of BJYM, Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya marched along with thousand of supporters and gheraoed the West Bengal secretariat “Nabanna” on October 8th and challenged Didi on her own turf. He stuck chord with the youth electorate of the state who are disenchanted with the state administration due to lack of job opportunities. Home Minister Amit Shah visited the state and stuck the chord with the people by paying tributes to great freedom fighter Khudiram Bose. And from 2021 the former party president will spend atleast seven days in the state till assembly elections to take stock of electoral preparations, preparing strategies to counter TMC violence.

The development slogan of BJP has stuck chord with the electorate and it has rattled TMC leaders and its Chief electoral strategist Prashant Kishor. He had stated that he will quit his job if BJP croses three digit mark. The stakes are high as the the agency IPAC has deployed 1000 volunteers to study 294 seats in the state. Sensing the undercurrent many high profile TMC leaders Suvendu Adhikari along with many party leaders have joined BJP. The ruling party without ideology has now become torch bearer of nepotism and Mamta non corrupt image & slogan of “Maa, Mati, Manush” looks hollow than ever.

The traditional Muslim votebank of TMC is now gearing to embrace the Owaisi’s All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). And this has unsettled Mamta Banerjee who is fearing to be unseated in the summer of 2021, with the Muslim outfit will cut into her traditional votebank as posters of Owaisi have surfaced in Muslim dominated seats of Bengal. All these indicators suggest that Saffron party is looking to rewrite the history with resurgent nationalistic passions among Bengali’s similar to Revolutionary Nationalist before Independence. And Hence the time has come to fulfill the dream of Swami Vivekananda & color the whole Bengal with Saffron.

Odisha: The only state Hindus need Covid negative report to go to temple, churches, mosques are exempted

0

Bhubaneswar- The Odisha state government is allowing the opening of temples which were closed due to Corona lock down one after another in the state. Puri Shrimandir, then Lingaraj and other temples are opening or going to be open in coming days. However, the state govt has made mandatory for the devotee to show Corona Negative Report to go to the temple. It has been made mandatory for devotees. Otherwise any devotees will not be allowed to enter the temple. Many devotees who are not financially sound are unable to test as the corona test costs at least Rs 400. If any Hindu devotee wants to take his or her family then it may cost around 2000 or more than this. The government is no longer conducting any corona test in free of cost.

Odisha is the only state in the country where such mandatory restriction on devotees has been enforced. There is no need for a negative report to visit temples in other parts of the country. Another important thing is that the government of Odisha applies this rule only to temples. No such corona negative report is required to visit a mosque by any Muslims or church by any Christians in Odisha. The state government is doing injustice to Hindus by blatantly violating Article 9, Article 25 and Article 27 of the Constitution.

The Odisha government decided to open temples in Odisha only after opening of temples in all the states of the country. Odisha is the last state in the country in opening of the temples after Corona lockdown. The Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh has been opened for devotees since June 11. Since then, the general public has been visiting the temple following the Covid guidelines. There is no need of any Corona Negative report. Similarly, the Akshardham Temple in Delhi has been opened to the public since October 13, the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala from August 26, the Kali Temple in Kolkata from June 10, the Assam Kamaksha Temple from September 26, and the Kashi Bishwanath Temple from June 7.

As you may have known, these temples were closed to the public on March 21 due to country wide lock down. No corona negative report is required to enter all these above famous temples. However, the Odisha government has decided to open the Shree Jagannath Temple and the Lingaraj Temple recently on December last week after all temples opened in the country. But still why the Odisha government has made such Corona Negative Report compulsory to enter only the temples and Mosques and Churches are exempted is still unclear.

Connecting India to create a medical soft power and a world leader in providing novel treatments

Independent India has existed for more than 73 years and with the current population 1.3 billion, the medical health services need a lot of reformations. India remains a developing country and with the current burden of maintaining the health quality of the world’s second most populated country, it is ranked 145 out of 195 countries in terms of access to health care (according to a Lancet research paper). In India, the system provides the medical care responsibilities predominantly via the state government and the synchronisation between the federal and the state government remains crucial for pan India health care management. India needs a centralised patients database which could be further used to make the subcategories of the existing medical problems. To find novel treatments and attract the world to India for its medical problems.

Combining all medical centres

Without the federal and state government database and its centralisation with mutual sharing, it is nearly impossible to estimate the exact medical reforms and the specific care required across different geological population’s medical needs. For instance, the Ataxia, a neurodegenerative disease associated with SCA2 mutation is most frequent in the eastern parts of India, so the resources, research funding and policy to ease the life for patients with such diseases should be enriched in the associated Indian region.

Several reports are present for individual hospitals reporting their database for specific medical conditions for example cancer hospitals reporting their studies with registered patients but the merger of all the states and national cancer database would help us get the picture of the bigger problem. While the problem of remotely located patients with lack of facility drive them to bigger cities, remains an obstacle as these same patients are then registered at a different location which may distort the interpretation from the individual organisation databases. For this, although nothing new to suggest, important to stress the need of uniformly present medical facilities throughout the pan India which are equally equipped and supported by highly trained professionals.

Bringing Information Technology Sector To All The Hospitals

The collaboration between the Indian IT giants with the private and government medical centres are a necessity to develop these data-sharing scaffolding networks. This will additionally help our IT industry boom further with the creation of more jobs, indeed a much-needed step during the covid19 crisis and with increasing unemployment rates.

Converging data to explore the fundamentals and discover treatments

Further, the expansion of molecular cell biology laboratories which are well present throughout India (ICMR, CSIR, DBT, IISERs, IITs and ICAR labs) and doing extensive work should be well connected with these databases to identify and work on various medical problems at the causative level to discover the novel treatments. The fact that we are not the first one to make an effective vaccine for covid19 and deliver it to the world, tells us that we need to pace up our medical research developments. It is noteworthy to highlight that the generic medicine and vaccine mass production capacity of India are excellent, however, India should invest more in understanding the fundamental aberrations of the diseases at the molecular and cellular level to increase the novelty in the medical industry. To generate the genetic, epigenetic and transcriptomic databases at the regional level and exchanged at the national level. This will further help us to develop precision medicines catering to individual profiles. The better collaboration between the patients treating professionals and medical scientists can give us a significant lead, thereby giving India an extra edge to become the world a leader in developing the novel treatments for common global medical problems.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, collaborations between IT industry, medical public and private centres, and the research institutes with government initiative and monitoring will create a great setup for better Indian medical care accessibility and improve concurrent treatments. Indeed, all this means India has to increase its medical, education and research budget significantly.

In the end, in the current world, the data is power and centralized database from the whole of India, from more than 1.3 billion people will empower us with the knowledge which no other country can get alone. From there it will be the onus on the medical doctors and scientists to lead India to its full potential, making India a global medicine power hub. A power of Swadeshi and make in India, a world centre for global medical knowledge.

How India failed its rural population

0

At the dawn of independence; as India recovered from the agony and aftereffects of partition and struggled hard to establish itself as an independent democracy it faced the daunting task of revamping agriculture sector riddled with out dated practices, backward technology, redundant laws and overcoming perils of severe food shortages, rising prices, rampant unemployment, extreme poverty and illiteracy and complete lack of infrastructure facilities in both rural as well as urban areas.

The path of development and progress required prudent planning, judicious use and equitable allocation of limited resources and formulating policies which focused on establishing a strong foot hold for agriculture. Moreover, in order to build a strong foundation, it was imperative to provide equal opportunities of progress to rural and urban population so as to keep them at par with each other and also to synchronise the growth process. In the last 73 years of independence umpteen policies and plans have been launched to initiate growth of the economy and to steer the country towards a new era of development.

But surprisingly even after seven decades the yawning gap between development of rural and urban areas is evidently visible. The prevailing conditions in rural areas not only present the grim reality of misery and neglect over the years but also clearly indicate the urban bias in misplaced policies and allocation of resources. The urban population has been the real beneficiary of the development efforts so far. For an agrarian economy with a massive population of 833.1 million residing in rural areas, this is a precarious situation requiring immediate and firm measures to mitigate the widening disparities existing among rural and urban populations.

In order to evaluate the glaring discrepancies in the level of development of rural and urban population, standard of living of rural and urban population has been taken as the main parameter with three strong indicators being:

  • Consumption of durable commodities

(ii)    Access or ownership of non-durable goods

(iii)   Living conditions and basic amenities available.

The first component explored for shedding light on standard of living of rural population involved the per-capita expenditure on non-durable goods like food grain consumption or other items procured for daily use. The second component examined was percentage of households owning durable commodities like mobile, T.V., Washing machine, Air conditioners, refrigerators were also taken into account along with ownership of a vehicle. Thirdly, living conditions of rural population were also examined with emphasis on basic amenities like pucca houses, piped tap water in house premises, type of fuel used for cooking and provision of electricity.

Data Used

In order to analyse and assess the extent of disparity in development of rural and urban population ,latest data available from various census publication for the year 2011 have been used. Information and data for certain parameters was also collected from National Sample Survey Organization, pertaining to the year 2011-12. These data are summarized in the table for rural households and urban households.

               (2) Census of India, 2011.

A perusal of the above table clearly elucidates the stark disparity in level of development of rural and urban population. The lag in the standard of living of rural households is evident as the per capita expenditure (in rupees) on non-durable goods is almost double in urban population (2490.29) as compared to their rural counterparts (1376.72). Percentage of households owning a mobile was found to be 77.6%for rural households as against a high of 92.2%for urban population. A basic durable commodity like TV boasts a high ownership of 80.4%for urban population whereas only 49.6% of rural households were able to enjoy it. The imbalance in consumption of other basic durable goods like refrigerator (9.4%in rural population), washing machine (2.9%for rural population) and air conditioner’s (5.9% in rural areas) is also quite obvious, hence the data corroborates the theory of urban bias in development of India. Furthermore, even in ownership of vehicle for commuting rural households were found to be far behind as only 2% owned a car/jeep and only 18.4%were using a two-wheeler (motor cycle/scooter) whereas this percentage saw a four time jump for urban population with 8% population using a car/jeep and a whopping 37.8% were found to be riding a two-wheeler.

Even after six decades of Green Revolution, countless poverty alleviation schemes, Employment Guarantee Acts and various unproductive Pradhan Mantri Yojanas the upliftment of rural population has been far-fetched and misleading.

The rural population is still desperately fending for even the basic amenities for their survival, as only a mere36.61%resides in pucca houses and a similar proportion i.e. 36.75%had proper sewage outlet for waste water. The data further exposes the deplorable living conditions of rural population as only a meagre 14.02%households have piped tap water and colossal 80.56%are still without toilet facilities, Swachh Bharat Mission being only an illusion.

A large percentage of rural population is still dependent on ancient fuels for cooking like firewood ,cow dung cakes etc as barely 11.40% population was found using LPG for cooking, whereas in comparison 65.03% of urban population had access to this facility .Even though ,India has 22 nuclear reactors in operation, multiple thermal power plants in every corner of the country and has also tapped wind and hydro energy to produce electricity but astonishingly even today 45% of rural population is still groping in the dark,  on the contrary a massive 92.6%are reaping the benefits of abundant electricity.

More so, the existing imbalance in the standard of living of rural and urban populations finds impetus from the rural /urban ratio calculated for the various indicators used to examine the disparities .The per capita expenditure of rural population on non-durable goods is even less than half of the amount that the urban population is spending on procuring non-durable items ,the ratio being 45.17%.Also most of the durable goods are beyond the reach of rural population as almost 80% are without refrigerator ,87% are without washing machines and 85% cannot afford an air conditioner. They are also trailing far behind even in owning a car/jeep as 75% population had no means to buy it and only around half of the rural population i.e., 52% rides a two-wheeler.

The sporadic growth of urban sector infrastructure with impressive sky scrapers, architecture marvels, countless apartments with hi-tech facilities and ever-increasing network of flyovers leaves the rural population only dreaming for a decent abode for living as only 41.88%rural population resides in a pucca house with only 44.94% having proper sewage facilities.

Further, as only 25.93%have provision of piped tap water in their houses and only 26.79%have access to proper toilet in house premises reveals the flawed concentration and use of resources for urban population. Also, the use of LPG by only 17.53% households and absence of electricity for around 40% of rural population further elucidates the disparity between the two population of the same country.

Policy Implications

Development for any country implies equal opportunities of growth for both its rural as well as urban population. As countries evolve and progress from being predominantly agrarian to becoming industrial giants it is pertinent that rural population is taken along and the disparities between the two populations gradually merge.

Since, the 2nd World war various developed countries in the process of building their economies ensured and made conscious efforts to synchronise the growth of both rural and urban populations .As a result the meagre populations of these developed countries that still resides in the rural areas enjoys equal standards of living as their urban cousins .It is important to remember that no country can attain high levels of development if a major chunk of its population is deprived or under-privileged.

Need less to say, that the policies, plans and promises so far have been farce, fake and misleading. We need to seriously reformulate and revamp our existing projects aimed at uplifting the rural poor and make them more effective and actual. Subsidies for agriculture sector need to continue along with special emphasis on availability of cheap and easy credit, continuous supply of electricity and water and also ensuring a proper price for their produce.

In addition, we need to regulate our Public Distribution System, Employment Guarantee Scheme, Poverty alleviation measures and most importantly distribution of resources and funds needs to be more equitable and thoughtful. The trickledown effect for all the adopted policies to promote rural population should be supervised by making people and officers involved at each level responsible and accountable.

The neglect of the huge 833.1 million rural population of India is portent for the impending disaster and needs to be resolved and addressed at the earliest. It is now or never that we completely overhaul our prevailing policies and change our biased perspectives. Without the progress of our rural population, the bubble of fragile urban growth will soon burst.
